My mom and I went for a test drive last Sunday afternoon. Elliott Abear was incredibly nice, helpful, and very informative. We told him up front we were not purchasing that day and he still spent a lot of time with us. He also followed up via text later (the only salesperson who did from all the dealers we went to that day). He said he was fairly new to car sales, but with his friendly, relaxed demeanor and incredible depth of knowledge, he's bound to be successful!

I have purchased 5 cars now from Pacific Honda, and it has always been a pretty good experience. However this time was a step above. I dealt with Jackie Liu, and he was very good to deal with. Rather than the more forward borderline pushy style of many sales/product specialists, Jackie was genuine, knowledgeable, and most importantly listening to me, and what mattered to me as the buyer. Admittedly, I am a demanding customer who wants what she wants, and he handled it all in stride which eventuated in me leasing a new car sooner than planned. Nice work Jackie!! Working in sales myself there is no way I am buying something unless there are advantages worthwhile to me, and Jackie did a great job helping me see what they were, while getting me a deal that worked. Also, Mike in the Finance department was great, Again knowledgeable, but not pushy when showing me the additional insurance options etc. AND, Last but not least even Vala who transferred my insurance over was upbeat, enthusiastic, and helped make sure that I had the best deal with the best coverage. Next time I buy it will be an EV, and hopefully it will also be a Honda!

Bring a good book if you want to sit in the lounge and read. There are lots of lovely walks to be had around this location. The servicing I get at Pacic Honda takes on average four hours. The shuttle service is no longer in place. COVID and governmental health regulations curtailed many things. I would bring an umbrella if you plan on going for a walk. I bought my little gem at Pacific Honda in 1998. She is forest green and is showing her age. A couple of rust spots are now appearing on her body. I have to have that left side of the car repaired up the road apiece from the accident a couple of weeks back. (Save-On lot. No big thing.) My little gem is the oldest car on record for being maintained by this outfit. I care to keep the things I make or the things I have, so that they stand the test of time. Heck, I heard that if I get a million kilometers on my car, HONDA will gift you with a new car. That is what I am aiming for. The global maglevs should be online for everybody by then. Plus afew other little nik-naks.

Do NOT go here for Service or Recalls!!!! I took my car in for a simple recall...a power steering hose. Dropped my car off at 7:30am, they do the hose, call me to pick it up around noon. No issues. I get in my car, im not even off the lot and the whole power steering system is shot! They now claim " the car arrived like that"!!!! The car isn't even in driving condition!! They now want $300+ to fix my power steering!! All because of a simple recall that should be $0.00!!!!! Not only has the Service Manager been rude he`s also completely unacknowledged about the actual recall procedure. The tech had to bleed the system and he screwed up and bled it dry and screwed my pump!!! There is no way that in the few hours they had my car that the pump "just happened" to die when they were working on that specific part!! Absolute jerk offs!!! I can not believe they would try to rip someone off like this for there commission! Disgusting! Once being out of my car for 2 days, my mom (being in the auto industry) and having a business relationship with the parts manager...she gave him as call asking if there was something he could do. The parts manager himself went and spoke to the tech and together took my car part and reassembled it and it worked. Just like that...."the power steering pump that I brought in broken" suddenly worked. Maybe there was a chance is was put back together incorrectly?... I am thankful for the parts manager...who had nothing to do with the situation or the department and went above and beyond his duties. As per the service manager, and assistant service manager....both were completely useless. Even to this day never owned up to anything, never admitted fault in anyway, nor apologized for being incredibly rude to me on the phone and in person. And blaming me, telling me i brought the car in that way. I was asked to remove my review by Honda, I stand firm that Pacific Honda is not recommend for its service department. If you have a simple recall....you'd be better off going Downtown. MY RESPONSE TO THE OWNER ------ I would just like to respond to the owners reply to my Google review, his response is very well thought out and written. The unfortunate thing is that it has no basis in fact. My mother dropped the car off in the morning, for a simple recall and when I went to pick the car up I had no power steering at all. I couldn’t even move the car out of the parking stall. Now they would like people to believe that they did all of this testing out of the goodness of their hearts, but that is not true. They said absolutely nothing to me when I went in to talk to them, other than it was probably the aftermarket pump which had been in service for 4 years prior to going to them for a recall. The same pump is still in the car today and still works fine. After talking to some Honda specialists about this problem, they suggested that due to the fact that this is a very simple procedure they would most likely have put a junior technician on the job and he or she probably forgot to take the plastic plug out of the end of the hose before installing it. This would have been an honest mistake, I could of had a laugh about it as we have all done things like that. But to be ridiculed and made to feel that I was an idiot is unacceptable behavior in today’s world. As I said in the beginning the reply is very carefully thought out and worded so as to continue to make me feel that I am at fault for this whole fiasco. But the fact remains that the power steering was fine when it was dropped off and was completely inoperative when I picked it up 3 hours later. The aftermarket pump worked fine for 4 years prior to them working on the car and continues to work fine as of today. To summarize I think most people can forgive an honest mistake, but not cover-up of this magnitude.

Customer service was almost too nice to me when I dropped off my truck that it was annoying/fake. However, when my wife picked up the truck the customer service guy was extremely rude and ignored her. Then she asked if he was going to help and the guy said "ON THE PHONE JUST WAIT!!!" in condescending tone. BTW my wife was with our 4 month old and he said the same thing to the elderly lade behind my wife.

Pacific Honda first impressed me with there price match on the winter tires I recently purchased. On installation day, the service department was busy at the time of my appointment. There was only one service advisor on at the time, but another was quickly dispatched. Noah Desaulniers quickly assisted me in getting my car booked in and providing a time frame for when the work would be completed. Noah was polite and friendly.

I recently went to Pacific Honda to see pre-owned CRV, both my wife and I were impressed by the Mori. He is a gentleman and his customer service was outstanding. Mori arranged test drive for us and listen carefully on our needs and concerns. Unfortunately we cannot find our best fit this time, but his professionalism and no-pressure salesmanship will be something make me come back next time. Btw, Pacific Honda has a nice play room for baby, my 2 year old boy just didn't want to leave.

I recently purchased a used Toyota Corolla from Pacific Honda with the help of Leonard Eugenio. Leonard is an excellent sales adviser and made the purchase experience enjoyable with minimal stress. He allowed me to take the car I wanted for an extended test drive. This was crucial as it gave me time to get comfortable with the vehicle and ensure it was the right fit for me and my family. Leonard took the time to answer all the questions I had and investigated and got back to me with answers that he didn't immediately have. When I noted a few issues with the interior and exterior detailing, Leonard was quick to follow up and get the issues corrected ahead of the delivery date. On the day of delivery, it was noted that the car was low on gas and didn't come with a manual. Leonard corrected the issues by giving me a gas card and ordering a new manual. I really appreciate the effort that was put into ensuring complete satisfaction with my car purchase. Recommended!

I have to say I don't write many reviews but I feel compelled to write on here about their service department. I have been bringing my Ridgeline here since I bought it new and the previous 2 times didn't go smooth at all. The last one was delayed as they were overbooked so the work couldn't be done and that was after I left my truck there for the day and arranged for another vehicle. The manager did reach out and provided a $100 gift card so I thought I would give them another try. So on Saturday, I left my truck there again and they did do the work (double what I was quoted though) and then went to use the gift card: but that was declined and I was told I would just have to pay it and they would reach out. I know I won't hear back from them unless I chase it down and at this point I give up, honestly the worst customer service I've ever experienced in any industry.

Wasn't impressed with the pressure during the sales process at all. Being asked 3-4 times if we want to look into the pricing of the car despite clearly saying we want to try other brands first was irritating. And then being asked if we're going to make a decision that same day or not, etc.. It might not be the whole team who does this but that was my personal experience. Word of advice to the dealership: give people time to breathe and don't pressure!

Peter was our sales guy and his knowledge was excellent. He went out of his way to provide extended information on the 2019 Honda Ridgeline we purchased. His sales approach was to determine our specific needs then explain how the features of that vehicle fit into our lifestyle. Very disorganized. I had to come back to get my inspection completed...came in for the appointment and was told that the parts weren’t ready so had to reschedule appointment. Was told multiple times that their courtesy shuttle takes you anywhere...it wasn’t specified that it was anywhere on the north shore. Then, my personal details in their system were incorrect. A very tedious process overall! Hopefully my car is serviced properly...I’m mentally prepared for all the nonsense fees they’ll charge at the end of the day. Once this process is done I’m not coming back to this dealership.

I have been a customer of Pacific Honda for 20 years and have always found the sales and service people to be very helpful and polite. I was particularly impressed with my recent purchase of a 2013 Honda Civic EX. The sales staff went out of their way to locate this particular vehicle for me, as it was sold out, and delivered it within a week. Exactly the colour and features that I requested. I also appreciate the evening workshop the service department provides for new car owners. They walk you through all aspects of the vehicle and answer any service and maintenance questions.

I recently had to cancel my lease with Honda a year ahead of the lease term. I therefore made an appointment with Harley Redfern to discuss my options. He made me first wait for close to a 1/2 hour (he was in fact in his office negociating a lease with new customers, more lucrative...), then when he finally showed up he starred at me trying to intimidate me, then made me wait again. After close to one hour, I left without any information. Finally 3 hours later, he emailed me with some info, no apologies whatsoever. I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND DEALING WITH HARLEY, which is unfortunate for the dealership because their service personnel is excellent.

DO NOT go here. Customer service is non existent, and they over charge. Also any appointment takes twice as long as they say. Last time they broke something in my car during a routine servicing, and I had to go back to get it fixed. They still charged me.

A sales call created the visit, I knew it was overdue but, being an old (2000) van of low value, I limit my costs. We booked some service work and I asked to look at other items. I authorized new work (brakes fluids etc). The work was done quickly and Tom clearly communicated the costs. He also followed up a few times by phone. When done it was $1100 but I felt it was well spent. The service was excellent and all my experiences at Pacific Honda have been excellent. I ceased going to private garages a few years back as I think your price is the same and you know how to service Honda's. Pleased I guess you could say. Never felt I was upsold.

Worst customer service i've ever had in any dealership! I put my car for an oil change and a minor sound coming from the back at 10 am they told me it would be done by 3pm. It wasn't done by 3 and no one even had the courtesy of contacting me and informing me which caused me to lose an appointment! I called them and still didn't get a satisfying answer. A very good service manager named David took care of me when i finally got my car. He was the only one there that understood and i thank him.

I cannot say enough great things about this dealership! I had an air-conditioning warranty repair done last summer when the AC system was completely empty of refrigerant. I brought the car in and they did a leak test (which I was told revealed no leak) and refilled the system. I thought it a bit unusual that a system would be low enough so the compressor would not turn on but show no leak. I used the system during the summer and all was fine. This April on one of our unusually warm days I turned on the system and there it was again, the AC was not working meaning the system was low or out of refrigerant. And, the warranty had expired on the vehicle. I was not a happy camper as I felt the diagnosis of "no leak" the previous summer was not correct. I called the dealership to voice my complaint and was told to bring it in, there would be no charge for the diagnosis and they would once again look for the cause. This time the leak was found with a bad o-ring on one of the hoses. The service manager Dave said he would honor the expired warranty and the charge for the repair would be $0. I could not conceive of a dealership offering this kind of service and honesty, but there it was!!! I will recommend this dealer to all who want to go to a reputable place for service, repairs and sales. Thanks again Pacific Honda!!!

I went there for an oil change for first time. It was done in timely manner ( one hour ). They said the charge is $98 + Tax. When I asked why two other dealerships in Vancouver and Langley charge $88, they said all dealerships charge $98. I told them please pick up the phone and call one. The rep said he had to call the manager for price adjustment. Manager took long to come by so rep offered 10% discount and I agreed. Eventually they charged me about $7 for "Supply". When I ask what is the supply charge for, they said for things like Rags, Papers... :) I paid and left . I did not find it honest. I do not think I will go there for any car purchase/issues

Peter Thoma needs to learn how to communicate with customers, I leave the house very excited to buy a car, unfortunately I came across Peter who right away states "I can't let you drive the car alone since we had cars stolen but no offense". If company is facing such problems, employees should be given proper training on how to deliver the message without offending the customer.

I was there recently and had a 3 star experience. Prices on used vehicles were as expected and fair. However my friend bought a used car here and had a budget set and was clear about that as I was there with them. Before my friend could even decline the extra up sells it was already added onto the price before they sat down in the finance office. They declined but was still sold an 2 year extended warranty from FCPP when the car had a year and 40,000km of manufacturers powertrain warranty remaining. They were convinced on buying a $3300 warranty that just wasn't needed as that money could just be used for repairs that *may happen*. Adding $3300 to the price and paying interest on the increased price over the term of the loan rather then deal with repairs as needed is a gamble and usually a waste of money. 3 stars because the price was fair but extras were unnecessary and typical dealer sales methods. All dealerships play this game. FCPP has a poor record of covering repairs as well. A simple Google search will prove that.

We bought our first car with this dealer. When I sent inquiries online via a 3rd party car search website, I received the reply almost immediately. When we went to the appointment, James was already waiting outside and got the car ready! He showed a lot of patience and tried his best with all our inquiries. We were browsing the internet as we were looking for our son's first car. We browsed Pacific Honda's website and saw a car that would fit him. We emailed that we were interested on seeing the car. The next day someone emailed us saying that "YES" the car is still available. I called her personally at 12:10 to make sure that the car was there and still avail, I told her that we were at work and would come see it at 4:45, she said no problem. Finally after work we went there only to find out that it was already 'SOLD" WOW REALLY!!! no one called us just to let us know that it was sold within 4 hours time frame. REALLY!!! WE WERE SO ANNOYED, NO RESPECT ON PEOPLE'S TIME WHATSOEVER. We were stuck in traffic for 1 HOUR TO GET TO THE BRIDGE TO GET HOME TO OUR FAMILY. SHAME ON YOU PEOPLE. We are not bitter that we did not get the car but at least someone should've just called us and said " WELL HELLO, THE CAR IS ALREADY SOLD", PLEASE DO NOT COME ANY-LONGER AS WE DON'T WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME COMING TO THE DEALERSHIP". FYI...We are happy to report that we bought our son's first car (CASH BY THE WAY)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I advise against using their Service department however, even quick tasks will set you back several hours or more - a real drawback unless you live/work nearby. I went there to get a new key, I paid 190 with tax and the fob didn't work!. What kind of service is that? They said I was paying for time. They couldn't get the codes. They had a spare key with a fob for which the battery had died but they didnt even suggest to put a fresh battery in that fob and put it in the new key. I paid 190 bucks for half a key!! and now I cant switch fobs myself cause I cant unscrew the key.

I asked pacific Honda for the price of a handbrake repair kit for a 2010 civic. This is a few small pieces of plastic, which are are very easy to break, hence the need for the repair kit. I could not believe the cost I was given for this item - $515.18 !!!!. (Including taxes). I then found exactly the same genuine Honda repair kit on eBay and paid only $45 for it!! When I told Pacific Honda about this, thinking the parts dept had made a mistake in their pricing, I was told that the price they quoted was correct and was the result of Honda’s policy of pricing parts for their vehicles in Canada often more than 10 or more times higher than in the US. This is really unbelievable, maybe not, though. Anyway, in future I will be purchasing my Honda spare parts in the US, or on eBay. BTW, Pacific Honda quoted a price of $605 plus fees and taxes to install the repair kit. It took only 10 minutes for me to install the $45 kit!! !

Thanks for responding back to my review. I already had 2 incidents with Pacific Honda Service department as well which I didn’t mention in my previous review. First one was, I was charged for a service that was not happened on my car which I paid for as a service package. Pacific Honda offered me a discount on the next service as a compensation when I complained (see survey for July 27, 2017). The 2nd happened recently, I was booked for a whole day to change the AC hose. That AC hose is in back order and Pacific Honda never got that part!! So the day I brought my car to change a part was for nothing. Looks like I am not lucky neither with my 2018 Honda CR-V car that I bought from Pacific Honda nor with service department in Pacific Honda. For me, it is hard to trust Pacific Honda again!

Stopped by the automall on July03 '16. I have to agree with one of the below comments about being "blinged out" before going there. I am buying a new car in a few weeks. No one greeted me upon entering. A sales rep walked near me twice as i was sitting in a Civic. Not once even asking if i had any questions. I guess i was sized up as not being worthy of his time as he went outside to help others. I was helped when i stopped into the Toyota dealership and also the Mazda place. Tho it was like pulling teeth to get the Mazda people to talk to me. So maybe it is a North Shore thing. Too bad as there seems to be many good reviews for this dealer. (Pacific Honda)Thats ok. Carter downtown was happy to serve me and offer a test ride. Guess they want to sell cars.

I’m so unhappy with my Experience here. I finally Found a used Honda that was perfect for me, one that’s hard to find especially in my price range, it was going to be my first Honda too, and the day I was set to go in to figure out my financing options (and to purchase the vehicle, I was literally ready to buy it), the sales man sells the car to someone else literally 20 minutes before my appointment with him. He DID NOT tell me the day before when I looked at it that I should put a deposit on it or else someone else was going to buy it, had I known I would have put a deposit on it. I feel like he used the fact that I was interested in the car to push the sale on someone else. I’m not sure if I will ever deal with Honda , or at least that location again. I’m very upset and I’ve lost out on getting a nicer car for my self for quite a long time because it was hard to find in my price range in the first place. SO uncool.

Jackie Liu greeted us as soon as we walked in the dealership, he was friendly, forthcoming and had some knowledge of the used car we were looking at, it wasn’t a Honda, but he was both accommodating and helpful. I had a good idea of the value of our trade in having looked at several other dealers, Jackie and the sales manager were great at not wasting our time or theirs in coming to a deal. I thought it was a fair price and hopefully they did too. Mike, the gentleman in the finance department was very pleasant to work with too, all in all it was a very nice car buying experience. The other thing to mention is the condition of the car, when we drove it for the test drive it was clean but had definitely been sitting out in the elements. Jackie said it would be cleaned for our pickup and it certainly was. I detail cars in my shop at home and this was one of the cleanest cars I’ve seen off of a car lot in quite some time. Absolutely awful service department. In 2007, I bought a Honda Fit. That car was a dream, and back then, every time I brought it in for service at Pacific Honda, the charge was understandable and straightforward. HOWEVER: 10 years later, I decided to turn that car in for a brand new 2017 Honda Fit from Pacific Honda. Since then, every time I've brought the car in for anything, there is always (and I mean "always"--every. single. time.) something they call me about, mid-service. "You need to also do this, which will cost [usually at least $80 to $250 more]." I've had my car for less than 5 years and have less than 34,000 km on it. How could I possibly have this many "normal maintenance" needs? I honestly cannot remember the last time I had a normal oil change here without any incident or extra charge suggestion. In addition, early on with my 2017 Fit I had issues with two small plastic pieces, one in the trunk and one in the arm rest that broke off. They luckily said it was under warranty, but when I showed up, they ordered the wrong part, and completely ignored the second I had asked to repair. Fast forward to this past month: I recently had a driver turn wide and clip my side view mirror; luckily, the casing was the only thing that came off, and everything else about the mirror worked fine. I told the service employee on the phone that I just needed the bottom part of the skull cap casing replaced (the top is not broken) and they insisted I come in. At this point, going to the North Shore is a chore, but I've been a customer for 14 years, so I'm hoping there's SOME kind of effort to retain me as a client, so I went in anyway. I show up, they assess it thoroughly, order the part, and make an appointment for me to come in a week later. The day of the appointment, I arrived, dropped off my car, and 20 minutes later, they called to tell me they ordered the wrong part; NOW, instead of costing me about $80 to get it fixed, it will apparently now cost $150. Absolutely absurd. Not only did I completely waste 3 hours of my day moving work around and taking the time to get there, but they want me to come back and pay more later? Like I said, every time I go in, they find something else to tell me to pay for. It's now been 2 weeks since they told me they ordered the part...why did the last part (the wrong part) only take 5 days to arrive? I sent them an e-mail politely stating my issues and informing them I'll pay the original cost, but not the added new costs since the mistake was not mine, and they never responded. I have a suspicion that they've ghosted me now and I'll have to go somewhere else.

I was dealing with the sales person name Bobby and then this girl comes up to tell him to ensure I had two pieces of ID-first she was so rude to me- why would you have her work there and treat customers like that? Please chose your staff carefully. Secondly, you require customers to put their credit card in a notepad? What if someone steals that? I have been to many dealerships and this one is by far the worst! We left right after them insisting that we provide our credit card details to literally drive around the Automall. We were also told that after all that paperwork we ran out of time for them to let us have a proper test drive. After having wasted an hour there, I still didn’t get to drive the car I was interested in. I would not recommend this place. By the way, the manager got to drive my car and I guess I should have asked for his credit card and driver’s license prior too. Such double standards!!

I don’t think I’ve ever been to a car dealership not once but twice and yet hadn’t gotten around to driving the car I was hoping to buy because of all the red tape in procedures about doing the paperwork first and then seeing if you are interested in buying before letting you drive the car. How are we supposed to make a decision on buying a car without driving it. Last but not the least we were also surprised at their policy of taking credit card information on a piece of paper prior to letting the customer drive the car. This is very bizarre in my opinion. We were not comfortable with having someone take down our credit card details on a notepad type form. Whatever happened to secure data? We weren’t impressed with the quality of customer service here either as nobody greeted us when I walked in the first time and it wasn’t like everyone was busy. Regardless I was glad to have found out about this level of service as it helped me solidify my choice on which dealership to go with and I obviously went with the other one.

I've been coming here for four years. Anybody here giving a high star review probably knows nothing about fixing cars or has never had to make a complaint with the manager of the service department. I have definitely had an experience where they tried to overcharge me for air filters. Also, the last time I went... Three shuttles left without me. Each shuttle telling me a I need to wait for the next shuttle. The manager didn't even care. My car was done before I got a shuttle and nobody cared. I've spent a lot of money here and I've never taken the time to write a bad review for anything but I've never felt so undervalued as a customer anywhere. You would think after the CBC aired a story of Honda dealerships being crooks that this place would try to ease my worries.

The fleet manager at this dealership tried to sell me a vehicle by telling me it was in mint condition with no accidents. Luckily I had seen the vehicle already on the North Shore Auto Mall used car listings and knew it had been rear ended and had an ICBC claim from the previous owner. I asked the fleet manager if it was the same vehicle and he admitted it was and then proceeded to make excuses and blame other people for his records being incorrect and didn't even apologize! He was also trying to charge me $250 more than the listing! This is a shocking way to do business and I would recommend that you do NOT consider this place for your next vehicle purchase.

I went here after getting a letter in the mail from Honda telling me there was a recall on the passenger side airbag of my 2008 Civic. This is a no charge service at the dealership. My vehicle needed an oil change and was approaching 100,000 km so I wanted to get some additional maintenance done as well I ended up getting a transmission, oil, and coolant fluid change, a multi point inspection, minor engine tune up. They called later in the day to inform me that I had a broken engine mount which I declined at the time. I called an hour later after reading about it more and they were still able to fix it even though it was approaching their closing time. My service adviser Amy Baker was very helpful and even gave me a 15% discount for my total bill. I checked the cost of a transmission fluid change at Mr. Lube before going and was quoted $185, it was $110 at the dealership before the discount was applied. I've usually avoided dealerships in the past because I felt the price would be higher but I have no regrets after my experience here. They identified and fixed issues that I wasn't aware of and didn't pressure me to get additional work done after I declined. I still like the idea of getting a lower price at smaller private garages for some more expensive repairs but I think it's a good idea to go to the dealership once and a while to get a thorough, detailed check of your vehicle.

Anyone who has ever shopped for a new car knows that it can be a tedious, time consuming and stressful experience. We stepped on a few lots only to leave again, scratching our heads by the manner sales associates present themselves. Finally decided to bite the bullet and drive all the way from South Langley to North Vancouver. The first dealership left us again wondering why some people enter the profession in the first place. By chance we saw a Pathfinder at the dealership across the street...Pacific Honda. As soon as we stepped out of our car we were greeted by Bobby who not only dressed the part of a professional but was just that, through and through. Bobby finally made us see the light at the end of the tunnel. He was very well informed on the Nissan Pathfinder, was super efficient in presenting all the info on the two models sitting at Pacific Honda, and not once did we feel pressured about entering into a sales contract. Bobby was patient, courteous, funny, and just a class act all around. He restored our faith in the car buying process. It was definitely a feel good purchase all around. Better make sure your wearing something that says "BLING" because this was my 2nd time at the dealership and I wasn't talked to AGAIN! I pulled up in my 2012 Honda Odyssey Touring....yes its a $50K vehicle that didn't scream "yes I have money"! I had cash in hand and the only person that was close to me was more involved with his phone than he was helping me. I parked with my family on the other side of the dealership and my wife also went into the showroom to use the washroom. I noticed a congregation of sales staff standing around looking but I guess nobody at the dealership is looking to earn some money! Complete waste of time! Better look at going to someplace else for your used/new Honda car needs!! Oh....drove 45 minutes from Richmond to look at 2008 Honda Element! Yeah 45 minutes!

This dealership ripped me off so bad. I told to the service advisor that my 2009 honda civic was vibrating/shaking when driving especially going uphill. I also told him to roadtest it to check what the issue was. When i picked up my car, he said he ran some diagnostic test and roadtest it and found nothing. I checked my milage and they drove only 2kms. I told them to test it in the highway. I ended up paying around $70 for that test. I talked to my mechanic friend about the issue of my car and he said the spark plugs needs to be changed. I looked at my manual and its already due. We just changed it and the problem was gone and that cost me only about $20. One more thing. Four years ago, the advisor said my car needed wheel alignment. That cost me more than $100. I refuse to do it and my car is still doing fine. Ill never go back to this dealership again. -Michael Maralit

I would like to highly recommend Pacific Honda of North Vancouver, especially Harley Redfern and Amy Baker. We needed to get locked wheel lug nuts off our wheels as the last place that changed a flat for us didn't put the locking lug nut key back in the vehicle! We didn't have an appointment but Amy said that if we came in and could wait until they had an opening, they would try to get us in for the 15 - 20 minute job. We did go and wait and they did manage to squeeze us in even though they were quite busy with other regular customers who wanted their winter tires put on. Long story short, this dealership took the time to fit us in for a quick service and the bill was very reasonable, they even washed the vehicle for us! We've tried other Honda dealerships in the Vancouver area and they don't come anywhere as close to this dealership for great and attentive service. It will be my only place to get work done in the future! Thank You Pacific Honda for a very satisfying service visit. Keep up the good work. You will be at the top of our list when we go to replace this current vehicle. Thanks once again.

Been coming here to get my CRV serviced for a few years. Figured the extra cost is worth it for better service. Was surprised that they didn't wash my car but instead gave a voucher for a car wash 20 minutes away. Annoying but never made a fuss about it. Until recently I happened to be passing by said car wash, and having had a service recently thought I'd take advantage of it. Turns out there is an expiration on the voucher they give you, and I had missed the date by a few days. I phoned and spoke to the Service Manager to see if the voucher could be extended. He was professional but refused to help and made me feel that I'm not valued at all as a customer. Will be finding a more cost effective and/or better customer care service centre in the future. Edit: upgrading my rating to 3 stars from 2 as they have reached out, apologised and offered a new voucher through the mail. I do still wish car wash was offered either on site or more nearby.

Don't do business with Pacific Honda unless you want headaches, non-service, errors on your bill and your car returned with more issues and warning lights then when you dropped it off for repair! Dropped of my Honda Civic for repair on June 3rd, 2021 at Pacific Honda, After weeks of misinformation by Pacific Honda, falsely charging me for parts that were never installed on my invoice and either a faulty or incomplete diagnostics on my Civic I picked up my car on June 25th, 2021 (almost 4 weeks later) without it being fixed. Pacific Honda wanted $8300 to install one part. I asked if I could install a used part. Originally they said they would, then said I would have to find my own part and then when I did find my own part they refused to install on the advice of Honda Canada. Funny though every other Honda dealership around Vancouver I called had no issue installing. So I had to drive my car to another Honda dealership (Kingsway Honda) to get my car repaired. Pacific Honda charged me for either a misdiagnosis or an incomplete diagnostics as per Kingsway Honda. They also overcharged me for the parts they claimed were installed and then retracted and corrected the bill after I said I did not authorize. They said that they installed 2 relays but in fact they didn't. The car had more warning lights on when I picked it up then when it had when I dropped it off. My car was filthy when I picked it up on the 25th with bird droppings and mud. I was extremely incovenienced having my car off the road for a month, receiving misinformation, etc. I filed a complaint to the BBB but they did not respond to them about my complaint. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is in response to the comment below of my original review made by the Service Manager at Pacific Honda. He said he doesn't agree with my rendition. Please advise which points below you don't agree with... 1. My car was dropped off for repair on June 3rd and picked up not repaired on June 25th, 2021. I was originally advised your dealership would find a used part because of the cost of the after market part was so high and install this part. A week or two later you asked me to find the part on my own (I have a text to support this) and then after finding the part I need you decided not to install. 2. Recommended that I install a new part for $8300. Car value less than $5000. 3. Originally overcharging me on an invoice for parts that were not authorized or even installed and only corrected the bill when I raised concerns about the amount of the invoice. I spoke to you personally about this incorrect bill and you had it adjusted. 4. Misdiagnosis or incorrect diagnosis as I needed a different part according to Kingsway Honda which was eventually installed by them to fix my car. I actually needed a fan installed near the battery. 5. My car had more warning lights on when I picked up my car on June 25th and then when I dropped it off. I have photos to support. 6. That my car had mud and bird droppings on it as it had been sitting in your lot for several weeks. I have photos to support. I did open a ticket with Honda Canada and they advised me to contact Pacific Honda directly to resolve my complaint but nobody at the Pacific Honda dealership replied to my email. My absolute frustration and disappointment with my experience with my car repair at your dealership and the lack of any kind of response or concern has led me to write a review on Yelp, Google, etc.. This is the first time I have ever written an online review. I had a horrible experience that no customer should have to endure, spent hours contacting Honda Canada to try and resolve and it's ironic that my son bought his first car (also a Honda Civic) from your dealership. We both appreciate the quality of Honda and it's unfortunate I can't say the same about the customer experience I had with Pacific Honda.

Terrible experience. Dealt with a salesmen named James. Anytime I asked James a question, his response was "let me check with my manager." It was almost as I was dealing with the manager via a middle man. I even had to educate James on the bumper to bumper warranty which carries over on certain Honda vehicles. Which James has initially stated did not apply to this vehicle; however, as mentioned, James went and asked his manager and came back and stood corrected. James was absolutely clueless, it was to the point where I was blown away he was a car salemen. I drove 70 kms to come look at a vehicle which reaked of cat urine. There was no common courtesy of even having the vehicle in a aesthetically presentable manner. Never wasting my time coming to this Honda dealership ever again. Stay clear of this Honda location. We recently purchased a used Honda Ridgeline from Pacific Honda with the assistance of salesperson Alex Kitchen. We have been buying and driving used vehicles over many decades and this was our best purchase experience. We talked with Alex a few times before travelling to their offices; he explained their used vehicle program, helped us evaluate a couple of vehicles to determine the most likely best option for us and answered all our questions. Alex is knowledgeable and competent; and worked hard to move us through the purchase process quickly on what was a long travel day for us. He is a helpful and friendly guy. He escorted us on the return of our rental, which was an hour long excursion, even though it was his day off. We recommend Alex most highly. Check out Pacific Honda's Smart Purchase Program; "Market Value Pricing" and "Best Price First" means that they set the used vehicle price competitively and the buyer doesn't have to go through the often stressful and time consuming process of negotiating a price. We found their price on our Ridgeline most reasonable. In addition they had brought all of the Ridgeline's maintenance up to date before putting it on the lot. We are very happy with our experience with Alex at Pacific Honda and recommend them most highly.

I came in looking to repair or replace a belly splash shield for my 2017 Honda CR-V that had been bent out of shape on a long road trip. I knew it was a minor repair, but figured I should have it taken care of before my long road trip back home. I didn't get his name, but a gentleman who appeared to be a service manager checked me into the service bay and suggested, without any request from me, that he could probably repair this for free. I was surprised, given that this would take time in their shop and require my car to be lifted. In the end, true to his word, all I paid for were a few minor parts. I took this as a sign that this dealership values helping out its customers above all else. The service at pacific honda is generally very good. I brought my 2014 honda pilot in for a B service. They did everything that was expected. However in the process of inspection they determined i needed new front brakes. However, in addition, they changed my air filters. I know its a little thing, but it did cost extra, and i had just changed the cabin filter not even a month ago, and it definitely was not dirty. The filter when i purchased it (Fram) was about $25 but they charged me double that when you include the filter and labour. In fairness they had called my wife and explained all the extra things that needed to be done, including the air filter, and my wife just OK'd it. However, the point is, the air filter did not need changing and should have been determined upon inspection. Live and learn. But in general, they provide very good service.

Updated review. Called for a service appointment and was told that I was due for a “B for big” service before even knowing the mileage of the car. Asked the service representative not to touch the convertible roof, he stated we “never touch it.” After it gets driven into the service bay and I see it parked with the roof 1/2 open (where it is most likely to be damaged). As I was looking another service representative was yelling across the floor for me not to go back (I was looking from the public area). They also put regular oil in even though I specifically requested full synthetic. Very poor service and I don’t feel like I can trust them with car.

After getting nothing but the classic "pressure" cooker experience at another dealership, we had the good fortune to run into Harley Redfern and the most comfortable, helpful, no pressure car buying experience we have ever had. He actually HELPED us to make a good decision that would best suit our needs (including moving heavy child car seats from car to car to car). In the end, we thoroughly examined numerous possibilities and decided on a LESS expensive model than the one that had attracted our initial interest. Harley's questions and observations helped steer us to a good decision and made us feel that WE were in complete control of the purchase process -- that his role was to help us out. We were entirely happy with the whole experience, especially with an end price well below the competition. Pacific Honda and Harley Redfern were happy, too, because he got the sale -- and he deserved it.

This is my own personal experience. I have purchased 2 brand-new Honda's from this dealership and will never go back because of their poor service. They were pushy at the time of sale to sell an extended warranty - which I bought. Now they always have some excuse about why various problems are not covered!!! I was told today that all Honda brake rotors warp (mine did in less than a year - made my van shake like crazy). Funny they don't advertise everything they told me today about how poor quality the brakes are. I paid over $1100 to have them fixed because they were extremely unsafe.

Bought a used BMW 328i from these guys 3 years ago. I recently switched mechanics and they showed me the car had definitely had some serious front end repairs, which looked sound but it definitely surprised me. These guys had sold me the car under the pretence that it had never been in an accident. I guess the car fax only means so much and I will definitely be getting all of my cars inspected by a trusted mechanic in future. These guys should have definitely noticed the repairs before they sold me the car. You have choices when you buy vehicles and I'd reccomend taking your business elsewhere!

I went car Shopping last month to several different places. 1) One Dealership where I took a Car for a Spin and the Salesman wanted me to purchase it right off the Bat! ( talk about pressure). 2) The other place I went to I did a test drive and later on in the office I felt like I was rushed out of the Door and they did not really want to answer any of my questions. 3) I did a test drive on a Kia Sportage from a Dealership in Surrey and heard a squeaking noise, later on I looked up the VIN number on KIA website and saw there was an outstanding call back to be done on the Vehicle ( dogged a bullet there imo) But When I dealt with James at Pacific Honda I felt completely taken care of. I took the Car for a Test drive, once I got back he showed me the details of the Car had everything on-hand and explained my questions in a easy, calm way. Never did I feel any pressure from him or the classic "Lots of people have looked at this Car- you should buy it" I would recommend if You are Car shopping to stop by Pacific Honda in North Vancouver and check them out. I waited more than 6 minutes there then left! got totally ignored by them, he was kept using phone but not even asked me why I was standing there. There was no line up or any other client around! I know you guys are very busy on Saturdays but ignoring your client is not professional at all. I have been Pacific Honda loyal customer for more than 14 years, never had this experience before.

This will likely be the last time that I go to this dealership. My last oil change was over $100. Comparing invoices to 2017, the labour for a simple oil change has gone up by almost $15 in a year. Also funny enough this is the second time I have noticed they didn't actually complete the tasks they had checked off on their inspection checklist (I left the dealership with extremely low tire pressure despite the fact that they said they had filled all my tires to 32 psi). It is just not worth the mediocre service, a very unpleasant and unprofessional service manager, and inflated prices.

Hi just a huge shout out to an incredible sales staff member in North Vancouver *Honda*. KIA THORPE. There's one thing I hate doing and that's shopping for cars. Luckily as a Honda owner I don't have to do that often. My 2005 Pilot hit over 300 000 km and my black beauty is going strong. Yesterday while getting our fit serviced for its first oil change I met Kiah drooling over the new pilots. When she approached me it wasn't hard sales at all. She seemed genuinely interested in hearing about our love of Pilots and our family. Including our two Golden Retrievers Emma and Winston. Through our conversations I felt comfortable and she showed me all the features of the new Pilots. After a test drive it got me so excited for our next Honda family member lol. As we just leased the new Honda fit before my husband's work became remote 2 months later we are already in a lease and as much as the fit is incredible for milage and sporty it's not a fit for our family size wise. So we got to explore options with Kiah and at *NO time did I ever feel high pressure sales pitch from her. Honestly if you want to explore the Honda line up she is your girl. I have owned 2 accords, pilot and now the fit. By far my favourite experience in dealing with staff have been Aly at Middlegate and Kiah at Open Road. Just needed to send her a kudos to Honda Canada and here to thank her for her candor, professionalism and non pressure support in helping us to consider our options going forward.

My wife has two company cars that are Hondas. They have been dealer maintained since day 1. Recently each of the two vehicles had a major mechanical issue. The useless customer service rep in the service department has tried diagnosing the issue as everything under the sun except the true cause of the issues. On the second and most recent issue, the vehicle hadn't even been driven 100 Meters from the dealership and the shaking and power loss persisted. Did they not even test drive the vehicle after performing their "fix"? They never solved the issue on the other vehicle, its been sold since. I dont even think these guys are trying to be fraudulent by selling unnecessary services, they just have absolutely no clue about the vehicles they sell! AWFUL SERVICE, NOT ABLE TO DIAGNOSE AND REPAIR THE PROBLEM!

I have been going to Pacific Honda for a long time to get honda parts for our honda Odyssey and Prelude . The staff has always been courteous the parts department has always looked after my requests for schematics and parts diagrams . Neil is the man with all the answers there. I just had my timing belt serviced on the Odyssey they replaced what needed to be done drove me home and called when it was done. No trying to push other services I recommend Pacific Honda to all they are the BEST.

No greeting or acknowledgement from a single staff member even after browsing for 15-20 minutes so we walked out. I test drove a 2012 Honda CRV and I was served by a Product Advisor Sherman Wu. My wife was in the car with him for the test drive and I stayed at the dealership with my 2 year old daughter. First Sherman asked my wife what kind of car she had in mind then my wife told him, she just test drove the Lexus CT200h and she would like to test drive the Acura RDX next. Sherman then replied with this, "Then you are just wasting my time! As your selection of cars is so wide.... in my 20 plus years of being a car salesman, I never see anyone buys a car with such a wide range!" And he went on lecturing my wife that she should have made up her mind on what kind of car she should be getting before coming into a dealership!! My wife definitely did not expect this type of client service and we are extremely disappointed with this type of service we received. If you haven't test drive a car in person, how would l know which type of car would meet my needs and expectation? Basically, after this incident, I will never come back to Pacific Honda as the client service is so bad and rude. I will also ensure all of my friends and family will not come to this dealership, period! At the end, I do thank you for this unpresent encounter as it helped us decided we will buy our car from Lexus because their cars are top quality and with a much better sales services. What happened today at Pacific Honda is totally contradicting its goal... "Our goal is to provide you with a pleasant and professional purchase experience."

It can't rain all the time

I was contacted by James, one of their salesman, about my vehicle having equity and the possibility of trading my 2017 CR-V for a new 2021 model. I was hesitant at first, but James was clear and patient with explaining to me about why I may be able to take advantage of this option/promotion. I drove my CR-V down to Pacific Honda to meet James and have my car appraised and to also look at some numbers. I did this all with a crazy 3 year old, and James was understanding and even tried to help distract a little busy body by drawing him a picture. After all was said and done, he was able to pull off a great deal for my family and I, just as he said he would. The entire staff that dealt with me were both friendly, accompanying and hospitable through the entire process. They went above and beyond in ways I didn't think was possible for a dealership. I cannot thank James and Pacific Honda enough for working with me as they did, and I would highly recommend anyone to go see.them, and make sure to ask for James!!!

It had just been listed so I immediately booked a test drive and got a text from Jackie giving a walk around video of the car. I took it for a test drive and decided to buy it. Called Pacific Honda - they said it's covered under warranty but I need to bring the car to them. I spent hours brining impaired vehicle to the dealership. And when they replaced the battery they charged me 50% for parts and labour ($229.14) !!! 1) Saying that something is covered under warranty and then charging customers on the pick-up is a scam. 2) I could've bought a new battery from LORDCO for $160 and replaced it my self spending less than a half of time that I waisted with this guys. I don't plan to come back. Will try another place for service, will make sure it's not the same owner.

I purchased a used car from Pacific Honda. When the salesman (Babak) gave me the documents to sign, the documentation fee was approximately $200 or 300 higher than it was in the Ad. I noticed it, and he told me that the fee was because the financing. I'm still thinking about this fee and I think he just charged me more without providing enough information about the fee before. They just added it to the costs. After that, they tried to upsell additional things, insurances and additional services even thou I expressed clearly that I didn't want any of that in advance. In the future, I will look forward to make business with other dealerships but not with Pacific Honda.

Original review on May 12 2019 - Poor customer service by the sales person. I was looking for a Honda Civic and asked to view the Civic Sport model. The dealer asked me if we were looking for other models, I said we were also evaluating the Hyundai Elantra. he said it was not the same car segment, and said that I could come back later. I conter argued saying they are, and kept asking about the car and options. I think the advisor thought I was not serious about the car, and did not put a lot of effort in selling it. When I finally got him to seat with us to calculate the finances, I told him that I had run the simulation in the website, and he just said it wouldn’t have any difference. It seems I had to keep asking him to do his job. Anyways, liked the car but likely will buy in another Honda or go with a competitor. Review based on May 19 2019 - I reached out to Philip Chrinko after he replied to my review. He was very courteous and asked for another opportunity to discuss my situation with a different sales person and apologized for the poor customer service received. I was assisted by Peter (forgot his last name) who was very helpful and attentive and addressed all my questions and concerns. We eventually reached a deal and I bought a Honda Civic Touring with him. Therefore, I am changing my original review and complementing the business model of Pacific Honda who looked after to assist my needs as a client and actively treated a problem in their business. Terrible customer service. We made an appointment on March 26, 2021 with “James Barraclough” to see not just one but two Honda CRV (after he contacted us directly to get us in to see the two “available” cars). As soon as we get to our appointment, he notified us that one of the cars had over $4000 work and will be selling it wholesale so therefore it’s not available. With respect to the second car, he said that it is still in the shop and not available to see. He then tried showing us another CRV that we already told him we are not interested before (and that’s after coming back after 15 mins to put in gas). He basically lied to get us in. We basically went there for nothing and wasted our time. I have a newborn and had to arrange time for babysitting. When complained to the manager, “Babak Mousavi”, nothing was done but a basic apology. This is the worst customer service we’ve come across. Not only did they miss a possible sale, we would not be going back or recommend them to anyone.

If I could do negative points I would. Bought extended warranty for a used odyssey which I traded in my mint CRV for in 2016. Sliding door wasn’t working over the last week and over the holidays my sensor in the back kept going off randomly. Told them about both today and when I went to pick up the car, they told me they were charging me 50 bucks for the diagnosis of the back sensor which they found nothing wrong with. Well, isn’t the beeping the signalling of something???? I bought extended warranty knowing full well that these things would arise but apparently if they find nothing wrong with your car and it only malfunctions under your watch then it’s not an issue. I guess they already took my money for the extended warranty so they are trying to find a way to get something out of me. Never have any issues like this at Lexus. Worst dealership ever!

Went in on the weekend to purchase a car due to my previous vehicle breaking down for good. Making a purchase as big as a vehicle can be stressful, especially when on a tight time frame. I needed a vehicle for work, so I only had two days to figure out what cars were practical options for me and then to decide which one would best suit me out of those options. Being the person I am, I overthink things alot. Having said that, my personality lead me to asking about a billion questions on the vehicles I was interested in. Brendan at North Shore Honda was very positive and unbelievably helpful throughout, despite me being possibly the most high maintenance customer on the planet. He ran back and forth checking stock, looking into which features were part of which trims, and helping me understand what each would do for me. The managers Alex and Derek were also a big help for dealing with the process and sorting out my old vehicle. Every time I see the scratches on my hood I get really angry! Pacific Honda serviced my car and washed it and scratched the hood. I always had wash my car to avoid such scratches. I talked to the service manager and told him that this happened during the previous service and he said bring it in. He probably thought he asks me to come in and if it is a $5 fix he will do it for me and he will have one happy costumer! Turned out the scratches from the brush they use (maybe had sand stuck in them) were so deep it wasn't a $5 fix. Then he looks for excuses and tells me that if I had taken the car in sooner he would have been able to fix it but it is too late now! He didn't know it was too late when I first contacted him? He had to waste my entire Saturday afternoon to take the car in and hear that excuse! He accepts responsibility and tells me that he is sorry and that is all he can do for me. If he had offered me a cheap oil change I would not have been disrespected this much to come here and leave him a bad review. This is not how you should do business David! Your staff damage a car and you fix it at your cost! I was in Toronto for months and I told you that I was away and couldn't take it in earlier and you took advantage of that!

update: Oct 27th of course you can't, as it is under my wife's car. Don’t trust them too much, they tried to charge more than $1000 with no reason when my wife went there for oil changing - yes there were reasons which was not needed- injector cleaning, brake rotor changing, wheel alignment and etc.. When I talked to them about it instead of my wife, they said those are not needed but just recommended. If you know about ‘car’, yes you can go, but if not, never ever go there. There are so many wrong things that they have done to my wife for example, changed 4 tires in 20,000 ish km. How fun they are!

Even having asked if I could have some time to think about it, and explaining how overwhelmed I was on the amount of information, I was rushed to make a decision. I walked away with a new car, a bunch of add-ons that I’m not even sure I need, a headache (actually), and a bit scared of my new monthly payments. Last Friday May 20, 2016. I had this car service at the Pacific Honda on the North Shore. Due to front washer fluid sprayer isn't working. After a couple of hours the service consultant phone me for the service done. I was so disparate when I heard about the charges. Because I thought it is a free of charged. It was just a month since I took the vehicle out from a dealership and it's brand new. Instead they are blaming me for the said part damaged due to rodent damage. I don't think it's in our parking were it happen. I've been using that parking since and remember this is my fourth vehicle lease from Pacific Honda. I never noticed that there's a rat/mice roaming around in the parking, it's clean and I'm not the only one in the parking. I never heard any complaint from our neighbors about a rodent attacked. What a poor judgement! You never think about your storage where did you hide a the vehicle. How sure are you that your place is clean and no rodent. Didn't you ever think, did you? By the way for your information I've waited for the vehicle we choose for a week before we got it. Because during that time there's no enough available, so the sales manager told me that they have to get it somewhere. So you never know where is the vehicle been sitting for storage. How do you valued your customer??? Well I admitted It's my fault also that I didn't check the said problem before I drove the vehicle home and besides what's the point of checking it, it is brand new. I trust them and I have confident that everything is in good running conditioned. After all these years, generally speaking they doesn't care at all or doesn't care about customer satisfaction. I mean I just got this vehicle and charged me too much of service for replace a damage hose. At some point they are supposed to show just a bit of consideration, since we've been in the business for a while. What a horrible service experience, they don't have a heart or understanding. It was extremely disappointing!!! Considering I've been a loyal Honda customer and always getting my car serviced at Pacific Honda on the North Shore. This is gonna be my last car in this dealership.

Went to buy a used 2015 BMW 328 xdrive. I asked for only 2 things: That the car had had its first oil change completed (it did) and that I could get a detail done on the car. It was ensured that a professional detail would be done on the car. Show up a few days later to complete financing and the car was definitely not detailed. It also appeared new scratches had appeared (maybe from washing) and new damage to the wheel (I could be wrong about these). Regardless, I told the salesperson that a detail had not been completed. The sales manager came out and basically said they washed it and wouldn't do a detail even though they said they would. After all, it's a used car. Fine. Got my deposit back and left. Too many good used cars and car dealerships vying for business to waste with these guys. Only positive thing was Alex from finance.

Jackie, our sales contact, got in touch right away and provided us with all the information we needed to make our decision, including how this fit into our budget. Jackie is a clear, forthright and professional communicator who got us the information we needed without ever pushing or rushing us. We felt very comfortable with him and our decision in the end. To be honest, another dealership, who had been a little more difficult to deal with, lost out. They had the exact car we were looking for. Only time I had a good experience was when I bought my car. After that every time I call for something I get rude service and always get cut off by have you been here before. It comes across as if I haven’t purchased from here I won’t get help. I was also told when I bought my car if I get the extended warranty if anything happens to my car they will diagnose my car which is covered. I fell for it and purchased $800 warranty. Couple years later my car batt died so when I called they wanted to charge me $50 to diagnose the problem, when I told them I was told it was covered in the warranty I purchased. They pretty much said well we don’t know why you were told that cause it’s not true. So they charged me 50 anyway no sign of empathy. $800 out the window and I lost integrity in this company. I will never buy from here and tell everyone to go else where. I felt like I was just told what I wanted to hear so they can take my money.

Saturday September 30th, my fiancé and I drove quite a distance to Pacific Honda as she wanted to purchase a new CRV. They also had a used Rav4 in their inventory which I was looking for myself. We were planning a bit of a buy 2 vehicles, maybe strike a bit of a deal scenario. On arrival we walked through the showroom, which was under construction. There was no vehicles indoors, but there were plenty of employees lining the walls. We walked through the entire showroom without anyone approaching us then continued to the lot. We walked around for close to 10 minutes. No sales person at our side. I then noticed the Rav4. It looked great but unfortunately it had a sold sign in it. By that point we were sick of waiting for service and decided it was better to head back to our local Honda dealer. By the end of the day we walked out of Carter Honda with a deposit paid on our new CRV EX-L. From the moment we entered the parking lot (with our older Pacific Honda purchased CRV) the staff was excellent by showing us to an available parking spot. We are very happy we left Pacific Honda for elsewhere. To top this off, I sent a request using Pacific Honda's "contact us" form, for requesting a contact email for a manager. Sadly three days later I've yet to receive a reply. I don't like sending Google reviews as they are permanent, but this lack of service and communication should be available information for others. If a manager would like to contact me about this situation, you can search your webpage contact us forms for my phone and/or email.

My sales person was great and helped me. I however found that dealing with Heather the sales manager was difficult and unprofessional. There was a lot of back and fourth and her overall attitude was demeaning. After agreeing on a price, I was directed to the financial office where I was helped by a young woman. My experience with financial services was very poor. The woman Danika didn't seem interested in answering my questions, she was very short and unprofessional in our discussion, and I felt very uneasy about my purchase at this point. When I came to pick up the car, there was confusion on what I was suppose to bring as she did not communicate clearly in our initial meeting. Dealing with both the sales manager and financial services lady was unpleasant, making my experience less than satisfactory. I would not recommend.

I recently had an unexpected but great experience with Pacific Honda. My son borrowed my car to drive to the Northshore, visited friends and the car wouldn't start. Just at closing I called Pacific Honda to see if they could tow. They gave me the number for Honda's contract tower and told me to have them leave the key in the box for early drop-off. The next day at 10, I called to find out the status. The car only needed a new battery. They had replaced it and it was ready to go. They noted that my services weren't up to date and they do change some fluids, etc. and the car would be ready mid-afternoon. I took the seabus over from Vancouver, was met at the station by a Pacific Honda driver, the car was ready when I arrived. The check-out was quick and everyone was friendly and polite. I was so impressed with the service that I may even drive to the Northshore for my next major service. Thank you Pacific Honda. It is so rare to find truly good service today.

I had a great experience here at Pacific Honda. Everyone was warm and friendly, even those that weren't serving me directly. I enquired online about a car they had on Auto Trader the day before I walked in. Danika responded and with some reasonable options since the car I was looking at had already sold. I walked in the next day without an appointment and was served by Danika within minutes. I looked at a few cars but nothing was the right fit for my needs or expectations. After asking the right questions, she found me an option on a lease that I had never considered. I walked in on that Tuesday afternoon and when I was done, I didn't need or even want to look anywhere else. The process was quick and efficient and I drove my brand new Civic off the lot on Thursday. I NEVER once felt pressure to sign the dotted line right away. By far, the best experience I have received from a dealership. I have a used 2014 Honda Accord Coupe which I bought from a different lot and I was facing some intense problems with my vehicle. I called Pacific Honda to inquire on a whim and they went above and beyond. After getting my vehicle information, Elliott on their service team informed me I still had my original warranty on the vehicle. He let me know the work would be covered and booked me in. If that was not enough, the mechanics did a further inspection and found future problems I was not even aware of. From there, the team preemptively replaced all of these parts with no charge, saving me more than $5,000 in costs. Elliott took it a step further with my vehicle. I informed him about needing to replace my tires, and he helped me select the best option for my vehicle, despite the fact I was not buying it at Pacific Honda. His input saved me money, and provided peace of mind. Throughout the entire process, the team was genuine, diligent, and always kept me informed. The customer service was second to none, and I could not recommend them enough. When the time comes, I will definitely trade in my vehicle to them and get a new car.

I bought a lightly used truck pre Covid-19, when I first started using the AC this summer I noticed that it wasn't functioning the way a $33000 truck should so called into the sales department earlier in the week to see if they could help me out. Over the phone, a sales manager told me that they could have their service department take a look at the issue to help me out. We agreed that I would come in the upcoming Saturday morning at 10 am for this service, and that this sales manager would be in contact with his service department. I came into the Saturday morning, went to the sales desk and told them who I was and the above. This sales manager at the desk sent me to the service desk. Once at the service desk, the service person said that I didn't have an appointment, so he asked me who in sales I talked to on the phone and then called them over to the service department. To my surprise the sales manager that I talked to on the phone was the same one who sent me to the service desk, it was fairly clear that he didn't have any idea what was going on. It was about a 40 minute drive for me come into the dealership so you can imagine that I was frustrated to arrive and not have an appointment that I booked earlier in the week. They said they could maybe fit me in around 3-4PM, but I wasn't prepared to wait around a car dealership on a "maybe". To add salt to the would, the service and sales departments said they wouldn't be able to help me in any way if I did decide to wait around that day. Being a used vehicle, I understood that the dealership probably wasn't going to cover the cost of any repairs, but by saying "our service department can take a look at the issue to help you out," I assumed that the diagnostic was going to be covered. I assumed wrong. Needless to say I immediately removed my "Pacific Honda" license plate covers and drove home in a hot truck. I was hoping to buy a second vehicle through Pacific Honda, however I will not be conducting any business with them in the future. I suggest others do the same. -The one star is only because it wasn't in any way the service departments fault. Edit: Thanks for the response Fahim, but I wasn't as much worried about paying for the service, like I said it that was just salt on the wound when you said your service department would help me out, I understand that miscommunication. It was the lack of service that bothered me. YOU, Fahim, should book appointments that you verbally agree on so that customers don't show up for nothing. We booked an appointment over the phone, and when I arrived you said maybe you could fit me in IF there is a cancelation. Just say that off the bat for future customers so you don't waste their time.

I just want to give my own experience about the 2018 Honda CR-V Touring which I bought it brand new from North Vancouver Honda (Pacific Honda). A bad mistake to buy this expensive car! 1st problem, engine wasn’t getting warmed up and the water temperature was always showing cold! (heater also wasn’t working in winter because of this issue). 2nd problem, oil dilution issue!! (For those who don’t know what oil dilution means is, when un-burned fuel slips past piston rings and mixes with engine oil in the crankcase and possibly causing engine damage. It could also lead to stalling or loss of power during short trips or low-speed driving, such as in heavy traffic, especially in cold weather). 3rd problem, a hose to AC is broken and AC is not working. Honda says they are not sure when they can change the part because it is back-order! So, no AC in Summer!! The AC probably will be fixed in Wintertime. My car might have heater issue in Wintertime! Who knows! 4th problem, lights in sun visors don’t work, and visors been ordered!! A family car that doesn’t function properly when family needs it!
