Went to purchase a EV vehicle as and found Kate to be knowledgeable and professional. They showed us the carproof and ODB2 report. The vehicles were clean and in good condition. The reason for 2 stars is because Corey the sales manager offered us 35% less than the market value of our vehicle for the trade in. He admitted his offer after we showed him the carproof of our vehicle but at that point I did not trust a word that came out of this silver-tongued weasel. Bottom line is know the value of your vehicle before you trade in here.

Okay, I have kids and really didn't want to part with my Honda CRV but it was time, the most important things to me are quality and safety. I did extensive research, I do research for a living so I literally compare on everything. I wanted a safe, roomy, V6 SUV and narrowed it down to the Ford Edge and KIA Sorrento. Knowing the Sorrento won the JD Power award for dependability three years in a row I was confident either of these would work for me. I went to Ford in North Vancouver and they didn't even pull one out for a test drive, and came back with blasé prices. I could get better prices off the website. The edge was nice no doubt. When I went down the road to KIA, Kia (who works there) greeted me at the door, had a Sorrento out in 15 minutes for me to test drive, the vehicle itself was beautiful. It has fast pick up, the interior is high quality, it looks good, is safe, had tonnes of room and 7 room seating for when I have family , or other soccer kids to transport. Not to mention Dave and Kim, love these guys all of them I bought a car and made friends and they have great sales I got free oil changes and car washes, winter tires thrown in, plus a warranty second to none. I love my car and it has made my daily commute relaxing, also I've already taken it over the Coquihalla and it was a pleasure. The Sorrento is top notch, but KIA North Vancouver made this easy for me, and they gave me a great deal with no hassels or sketchy sales people. If you're a busy working single Mom - go to Kia, they'll look after you with a quality product and good people, for someone who doesn't like car shopping I'd do it again in a minute. Can't say enough about it here.

My partner and I were ready to buy a car in cash and received the absolute WORST customer service! Firstly, we were left to wander the lot for almost 20 min before finally going inside to find someone to help us - after test driving a vehicle we were very interested in - we were ushered inside to speak with the sales manager. The sales rep we had been working with clearly didn't listen to anything we told him - as once we sat down with the sales mgr - all our information was incorrect. Though we had stated our budget and that we had cash on hand - the first thing the sales mgr did was push multiple options for financing. The more we explained we were not interested in financing - the more we felt pushed out of the office. After leaving - we looked up the vehicle we were interested in online - and realized the manager and sales rep had lied to us about a lot of details regarding the car (how long it was in the lot, severity of the accident it was in, etc) - Awful.

So happy with the service at KIA North Vancouver location. I had to invest in a new car, of course I went to the same dealership that I had bought from 10yrs ago as I wanted the same make of car. Unfortunately after 2 visits and one test drive, I left feeling odd and thinking did that just happen - they were not interested in the sale or my wants/needs. I had a few people talk about KIA, their warranty, dependability etc. They all seemed to have good experiences. Dishonest service. I dropped my car for pre-warranty expiration inspection.So I sat down in their waiting area and started doing my job. I also had a good view of parking lot.They told me that it will take 2 hours to finish. I saw my car parked outside 30 minutes after I gave them the keys. That was including a 20 min test drive. I was busy at work so did not bother to say anything. After an hour I told them to give me my keys. They had hard time even finding my keys but that’s beside the point. When I asked them why they didn’t give me a call while my car was ready in 30 min. They started to make things up and told me that my oil filter is leaking since i didn’t do it there.There is not even a single drop of oil in my parking spot at home. They basically don’t really work on your car. I’m not even sure if they did any inspection at all. Don’t come here for your services you can do it wherever you like just keep those receipts.

I never thought I would say this of any dealership but buying a car with them was efficient and stress-free. Melanie in finance was very professional and insightful. Exceeded my Expectations I purchased a used Ford Fusion from North Shore KIA. I decided to have a look at the vehicle because they were offering this car at the lowest price for that model year and variant among all the listings on the internet. Sales consultant MANU introduced me to the vehicle and we went for a test drive. He was very warm, welcoming and friendly and made me at ease almost immediately. He showed me all the features of the vehicle and also told me about the parts of the vehicle that were replaced and repaired by them. At no point I felt that I was being pushed to make a purchase. Rather I was given all the information about the vehicle and the decision to buy or not was left on me. When I decided to purchase the vehicle I tried to negotiate the price with the Sales Manager ALAN. He was very understanding of what I had to say and though we did not agree at a price but he offered a final price which was close to what I had asked for. The purchase process was very smooth and quick. I had a minor issue with the vehicle a couple of days after the purchase which was fixed by the dealership at no cost. Special mentions: BARB in Finance and CHRISTINA in Service department. Overall it was a great experience dealing with North Shore KIA.

As a first time owner, I honestly had an amazing experience at the North Shore Kia. I was interested in buying the 2013 Kia Optima Ex Turbo. Upon walking into the dealership we were greeted by the staff at the door and offered coffee. After a few minutes, our salesman Kia Kazemian took us in and showed us the car we had come in for. He was really helpful and honest with the information about the car and he had the paperwork to support what he was saying. He genuinely wanted me to be happy and he worked so hard to get me a deal that I was happy with. Few days prior to our visit to the North Shore Kia, I had put a deposit at a different lot on another Kia Optima and I was convinced that was my car. Kia informed me about why their vehicle would be the better choice for me, and he gave me time to really think about what I wanted to do. We also had the sales manager, Alan Nasiroghli come into Kia's office and he made us a deal which we could not refuse. Janna Junck helped answer all of our questions about financing and she was so helpful with answering all of my questions and concerns. I love my 2013 Kia Optima Ex Turbo and I feel proud to own such a beautiful car. My boyfriend will be going in to see Kia in the new year to buy a car. From the moment I inquired about a vehicle, the team at North Shore Kia went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met. I told them my budget and never felt once pressured into anything going over that figure. This is my first purchased vehicle from a dealership, so I was quite nervous about the whole process. The service manager is incredibly rude for the most basic of questions. When I walked into the dealership today and I immediately thought to myself oh great I have to deal with the rude service manager again. I will never purchase another KIA or take my car into get serviced there again. This is due to the terrible respect and service I have recieved because of this service manager. It's often easy to get the best service when you're in the process of making the deal to buy your car. We had a great experience when we got the car, then it was all about waiting average 3 hours for the service. I'm happy they take the time for the service and I was disappointed to hear they don't provide courtesy car (at all) or shuttle service outside of North Shore. Unless you work/live there, you are stuck. This accommodation is provided in many places, I'd expect this from them too.

Never buy from this dealership. I honestly feel like we made the worst decision possible when getting this car. A couple of months ago we leased a KIA Sportage from here. It seemed great, and we were especially happy about how much the sales agent at the time focused on how it has lifetime free services anytime we come in, which in fact played a huge role in the purchase because well who would turn down such a great offer. First service was actually free. Second one wasn't, my father who leased the car with his name was surprised because the sales rep insured him over half a dozen times at the time of the sale that ALL MAINTENANCE WHATSOEVER was free for the life time of the vehicle, making a point of it because of my fathers constant making sure that it was true caused him to ask repetitively. But guess what, when something seems too good to be true, it probably isn't when it comes to north shore KIA. Weird enough third service was free, and the forth one cost him well over $800 because it was a full maintenance since the car reached a specific mileage. In all honesty if the rep didn't lie about this we wouldn't mind, because then we wouldn't have based a lot of the purchase on the idea that it's free to maintain for life. And now we are stuck with a car we got from a cheating agent at a what seemed to be a decent dealership but I will be advising everyone I know never to set foot in there because even management wouldn't help in settling the issue. I will be sure to file a complaint to KIA headquarters and a complaint to Canada Consumer Protection, because no one else should be cheated.

Money maker dealership. Pushing more unnecessary services base on the manual book guide and if your planning to buy a car in this place, ensure all deals like warranties be in written as a legal proof, when it comes to the end they'll flip you around telling you that you didn't understand on the conversation you had. I've experienced couple times going in for a service advising you 2-3hrs job including test drive , one time occasion was front brake pads replacement cost more than 500$. i was patiently waiting on the area when approximately one hour after, i was surprised my car came out dripping water as just washed and didn't even out in the parking area, sat there for a while no phone call received until I can't patiently wait longer not knowing my car is ready . I approached service area and was presented by the service adviser acting as it's like a long mechanical job and just been done at the moment, not to mention safety issue putting attention to test drive the car since new brake has been installed. I can't imagine putting in writing into the service record sheet handed to me that my car has been test driven, so frustrated with these fellow exhibiting dishonesty where in they will trick you being nice at first while your in a shop for car giving you incentives at the beginning and at the end they'll take it more what they gave.

The sales people are very pushy. They will do anything to sell the car. They had told me if I purchase one of their Kia's I will have oil change for life. And so I went in for my oil change. Next thing I knew was that I had to pay for "service" and if I didn't, the oil change wasn't actually free. And when I said I'll take my business their extremely rude service manager was making a scene in front of everyone about how I have signed a contract and that's the way it is. They have ZERO respect and appreciation for customers. I don't recommend them to anybody!!

Leo was great, with leo I was originally test driving and looking at getting a new Kia Sportage, but buying new was a little bit beyond my budget. So, Leo would let me know when there was a sale and I would check the used cars on the lot, a couple months later they got the Tiguan in, right in my budget. When signing Allen and Leo were really patient in explaining everything, and barb worked really hard in getting me a good finance deal. Overall really positive experience and very happy with what I got.

I went to North Shore Kia to check on a used car a Rondo 2009 ex v6 and a sales person, which I will not name came to help me. As we looked around the car we asked about the tires and said will these tires be changed because it looked quite worn, he said oh they are good the tire it is about 70 percent new. Then I said i dont think so then the mgr came, again i will not name, and he said well the tires are not unsafe to drive and with that comment I was very disgusted. I still wanted to take it out for a test drive and as soon as I turned on the ignition I told the salesman that the check engine light is on, he said oh it is safe we fully inspected the car. So, he told me to continue driving. Just as I turned right to leave the lot the cars engine malfunctioned it suddenly lost its power and I was very anxious luckily it had just enough power for me to turn right again to go back into the lot. I did not act upset, but I told the salesperson that I wanted to see the car fax and inspection because I was getting annoyed. He showed me the inspection which showed me that the tires were at 30 percent not 70 percent but still it looked quite worn. I told the manager based on the test drive I wont buy the car. Instead of apologizing to me for what had happened and having a test drive that endangered me and my wife, he said in a real sarcastic and facetious "well you didnt even go on a test drive". My wife and I were shocked at that comment and we left. I will not recommend this kia to anyone.

On Boxing Day 2015, I headed out to car dealerships, bound and determined to buy a new vehicle! I had heard about KIA's good warranty, and was very happy to see that they opened early on Boxing Day. I was greeted with warmth from everyone! Alan Nasiroghli was first to step up, and then Al Afshari took me on my test drives. Valuable information exchange during my test drives, good routes taken to see how the vehicle handled. Alan made me feel like a queen while we discussed options and what vehicle I was going to buy. I choose the 2016 KIA Soul SX (Luxury). And oh my....is it ever nice! Alan and Al just treated me so well, and we had so much fun! I was then able to sit down with the very capable Janna Junck while we dealt with the Financing. Between the trade in of my Jeep and good financing, and a couple of "treats"......I drove out with my sweet ride. Following an an accident, I needed a reliable 4 door hatchback with excellent visibility. I found a smart 2011 Mercedes B200 Turbo at North Shore Kia, in fine condition, with service records, fairly priced. My salesperson Kia Kazemian was caring and courteous. He helped make the process smooth & trouble-free — and he stood by his service and kept his word. He saw that a few cosmetic things were taken care of and I picked up my car washed and polished, including the tires. It looked showroom-worthy, like a brand new car! Kia even loaded the Bluetooth for me. And after a couple of weeks hard work moving my household, I took the Merc in for a car wash & vacuum, compliments of North Shore Kia and Kia himself. Great car. Wonderful, personal service. Kia looks after me. Highly recommended. Dec 20, 2018 Just wanted to add to my initial review. North Shore Kia and my salesperson Kia continue to look after me and my car. I just had another complimentary car wash + vacuum and they helped me figure out my multiple CD changer. Plus they called to remind me of my 6-month oil change. They make everything easy and are always helpful and friendly. Great service + a great dealership.

A customer since 2015 and overall terrible experience. Anything further than a scheduled service ends up taking multiple days with little communication and no offering of a loaner car. Extremely difficult for me as I use my vehicle for work. I've lost multiple days of work because of bad service. Multiple times I've been provided a bill for items under warranty. No idea if I'm still collection Kia points? Most recent experience by far one of the worst I've had. Most recently I called to book a service as well as have my AC checked (blowing warm) and my E-break rechecked (they already "repaired" it) as it wasn't engaging. I booked it informing of all of this. A week later I attend my appointment (visit #1). At the drop off I asked if they could clip in my new windshield wipers that were on the passenger seat. I'm told 3-4 hours. I come back at closing and I'm told the oil change was complete, the AC unit was checked and ink was put in and I'll need to return to check it (paid $160) no time for e-break and wipers were still sitting there. Once I got into my car there was no sanitation card indicating my car was wiped down (a requirement under their COVID Safety Plan). I return a week later (visit #2) to check the AC and to finally have my E-break fixed. The clerk tried to charge me for all the repairs (+$600) without even checking to see if my car was still under warranty (it is!). Turns out my AC compressor is done. Parts ordered for AC and E-break. Take car home, sanitation card was there. I return a week later when parts are in. (Visit 3). I chat with the manager of the service dept. And voiced a bit of frustration with my experience thus far. He called me an hour later and offered a loaner car so he can keep my car for a few days to repair everything. That was a nice change for once. I return a handful of days later (visit 4) and schedule a sitdown with said manager to discuss the issues I've had. He apologized, acknowledged I've had "bad luck" and just gave me lip service. I returned to my car to find white solution hand prints all over my driver handle and my steering wheel. No sanitation card again. A day later, I'm driving and I step on something. A flashlight was left on the floor of the driver side. Even knowing I've had "bad luck", didn't even have my car sprayed down or vacuumed. I literally got my car back in worse condition then I gave it in. If my car wasn't under warranty I wouldn't ever go here. Ill likely try a different Kia dealership for the remainder of this warranty.

Had a wonderful experience recently at North Shore Kia purchasing our GMC Acadia. First off, the salesperson Kia Kazemian was absolutely fantastic and was 100% responsible for the reason we left that day buying a vehicle from them. He was very personable and made us feel comfortable right away to be able to open up to him about all our needs and expectations. Every question or concern we had he had an answer for or found someone that did. Secondly, everyone in that dealership, from the salespeople to the office workers bent over backwards to accommodate our 2 young children so we were able to focus on the process regarding our purchase. From giving them balloons and hot dogs from the bbq outside, to finding their favorite cartoons on the TV in the waiting area, their attention to our children is something that we appreciate beyond words. They were able to set us up for a test drive, help us install carseats, figure out how to remove headrests and worked with us on the price to get as close to our price range as possible. Upon making our decision to make the purchase they efficiently set us up with insurance, filled up the gas tank and even tossed in a car lighter phone charger for us to keep. The day I went to pick up my vehicle, there was a BMW i3 in the indoor showroom. I said to my friend, "I wonder if thats my car", my friend replied, "no way that one is brand new". Well it was my car, they detailed it so well it looked brand new, and they even buffed out the minor scratches that were on it! This dealership treats you VERY well. Brought in my 2019 Kia Niro for a noise that the vehicle was making when downshifting. I had Googled the noise and found a service notice about this problem online. When I mentioned it to staff at the service desk, she derisively asked me, "What, do you research this stuff?" They returned the car a few days later after a transmission relearn. The same problematic noise continued on the way home from picking the car up. I returned the car the next week, with the service notice printed off. This time, they took the information and kept the car for 2.5 months. Not ONCE did they call me to notify me what was going on (I always had to call them). In fact, they never even called to let me know that the problem was solved and the care ready to pick up. Driving the car home, the engine overheated up the final hill to my house. They did send a technician to solve the problem (thankfully). After 3 months of trying to get the problem fixed, they did eventually solve it, under warranty. Still, I was stunned by the lack of customer service contact, very rude staff, unmasked staff during the first and second mask mandate, service staff not knowing what was going on, and the insurance expiring on the loaner vehicle (apparently unknown to them until I reached out). After previous interactions with unqualified sales staff and these recent interactions with poor service staff, I'll be travelling elsewhere for service and future purchases.

Money maker dealership. Pushing more unnecessary services base on the manual book guide and if your planning to buy a car in this place, ensure all deals like warranties be in written as a legal proof, when it comes to the end they'll flip you around telling you that you didn't understand on the conversation you had. I've experienced couple times going in for a service advising you 2-3hrs job including test drive , one time occasion was front brake pads replacement cost more than 500$. i was patiently waiting on the area when approximately one hour after, i was surprised my car came out dripping water as just washed and didn't even out in the parking area, sat there for a while no phone call received until I can't patiently wait longer not knowing my car is ready . I approached service area and was presented by the service adviser acting as it's like a long mechanical job and just been done at the moment, not to mention safety issue putting attention to test drive the car since new brake has been installed. I can't imagine putting in writing into the service record sheet handed to me that my car has been test driven, so frustrated with these fellow exhibiting dishonesty where in they will trick you being nice at first while your in a shop for car giving you incentives at the beginning and at the end they'll take it more what they gave.

People in the dealership besides Tim were unpleasant/difficult to deal with. Stopped in to take a car for a test drive, manager was "surprised" I was able to drive a standard car as a young female. Came back another day to pay for the car, took OVER 2 hours to just pay and get insurance. The salesperson I was dealing with was very unprofessional as well, texting me "lol what you mean" when I had never displayed that type of language. Taking "family run" a little too far...

So I am a first time car buyer and my experience was beyond Amazing. I walked into the kia dealership with only the type of car in mind that I wanted which was a Kia soul . I did a little bit of research online to see all the features but it was a little overwhelming. So I came into the north shore dealership and spoke with a gentleman by the name of Kia Kazemian . We talked all afternoon about features and he made sure the car I was looking at was the right fit for me. He went over everydetail with me in great depth. I could not believe the patience he had with me . In total that day I spent about 4 hours discussing everything from features to protection plans and everything in between . He was amazing . I would suggest anyone who is a first time car buyer to go to North Shore Kia and speak with him, he is patient with every question under the sun,and made sure that the car and the payments were within my budget. Even after I drove my vehicle off the lot he kept in touch with me to ensure everything was running smoothly and if I had any questions . When I do decide to get another vehicle in the future I know where I'll be coming and know who I will be speaking with.

Bought a 2013 Kia Optima at NS Kia, and Manu and Corey were great to deal with. Manu provided all the details I needed and didn't pressure any decision. He and Corey were up front and transparent. Manu took me to fill up the gas tank and we noticed a nail in the tire. He and the GM had the tire replaced immediately, no questions asked. Manu provided the Carfax and gave me an in depth walk-through of the vehicle. Will be looking to get my next vehicle here.

On the web site I had clicked "book a test drive" and I put in the comments the time that I would be by. When I showed up I was informed that they were taking the vehicle to the sea bus to pick up someone to test drive it. I told them I had booked my appointment the day before but they didn't honor it and as I was waiting for another salesman the first one drove off the lot with the car. They didn't have another one I could test drive that was similar. All I got was "sorry". I had driven from Vancouver to the North Shore in rush hour and now had to drive back without accomplishing what I went there for. I thought it was disgusting service. They didn't even ask me if I wanted to wait. Very disappointed, I will look elsewhere now. I would rate it 0 but it won't post without at least 1 star.

He was calm, respectful and wasn't like those pushy salesman trying to sell us anything. He listened to what we wanted in a car and helped us pick accordingly to our needs. I respected his quality of service so much that I took my in-laws to the dealership for their car. To make it short.....North Van Kia....will not give u a fair shake.....they will under value your Trade in and turn around to sell it for a bigger profit....while they gave you peanuts for your trade in!!That is one reason why, car dealers make more money on a used car than a new car!Car Dealerships are just out there to take your hard earned money ......why should we as consumers have to loose money on our cars in order for them to make LOTS of money on our trade ins??

When you go to this location, DO NOT get help from CORY ARCHIBALD. One of the worst to deal with as he will make you wait long to assist you, then low ball the deal and offer the lowest for your trade and keep his car on the lot at retail, so you are looking at wholesale to retail. He has a chip on his shoulder and says it all about making money for the dealership. Go to another kia and get good service and no stress. Sorry to have this man as general manager. Now the dealer, and KIA Canada, say my house is the issue and are walking away. To the credit of North Shore Kia they made a concerted effort to resolve the problem, but eventually kicked it back to Kia Canada who said there was nothing they could/would do. I recently bought a used electric car (EV) at the North Shore Kia. This was an important purchase decision for me: on the one hand I wanted to stop polluting the environment, and on the other I was anxious about the electric’s range and charging in general. So it was really good to meet Kia Kazemian (yup, Kia who works at Kia) my salesperson, who was really professional, kind, knowledgeable and patient. He described how a “range extender” would solve my concerns, and explained a number of new things, like how and where to charge my car and not a small number of differences on how to drive it. He also told me what needed to be done to scrap my old polluting car and get a credit from the “Scrap-It” BC program. Kia’s boss Alan was also involved and supportive, and they also have an asset in their finance department: Janna. She helped me navigate all the financing issues, and even gave me a few interesting tips that may help improve my personal finances. And lastly, they have great coffee and everyone had a welcoming smile every time I visited. I’m thankful they helped me buy the car of my dreams.
