Just bought a new 2016 CX-5 from Arthur, and I couldn't have been more pleased with my experience with the entire team at Morrey Mazda. The crossover market is super crowded and I spent quite a bit of time researching various competitor vehicles. Mazda was the last stop on my test drive tour of the north shore automall, and Im glad I got Arthur as my sales person. He did a great job explaining all the features of the car, and helped me select the trim package that checked off all the points on my "must have" list, but still helped me stay on budget. The fact that Arthur is fluent in Russian was the cherry on top of the Sunday.

Ever since my last experience (see below) they have been great. Very prompt and efficient. Too bad I had to express how awful they were before they paid attention to customer service. Much improved. July2019 I thought I would give them a second chance. I booked an appointment yet after waiting over one and half hours my car is still not in for an oil change. Just an oil change. I bring my car in here all the time and they are usually pretty quick but this is the second time I have been kept waiting while others drive in half hour after me, they have an oil change and have nails removed from tires and drive away before they even look at my car. This has happened before and I have brought it to their attention but the guy up front denies it. Coincidentally it is the same service desk person.

I had done my research for a number of months and decided a Mazda 3 Sport Skyactiv was the right model for me. I called around to a few dealerships to get a feel for the customer service. I decided I would stop by Morrey Mazda because it was the closest dealership to my house. What a mistake. I wandered around the lot for 10 minutes before heading inside. As I was looking at the demo models I thought for sure someone would come up and ask if they could help me. Wrong. It was awkward as hell. Finally, I asked the receptionist if I could speak with someone about a Mazda 3. Usually you have to swat away car salesman. The car salesman that showed me the car was a nice guy, so I decided to take it out for a spin with him. Pleasant drive. I knew what I wanted when I came to the dealership so we sat down to come up with a deal. Both the salesman and his manager tried to make it clear there weren't many of these cars left with a manual transmission so my best bet was to take their deal. Long story short, his manager played hardball and I walked. I called another dealership and got a deal for $1,750 better than Morrey Mazda's "best" offer for the exact same car, and the deal was closed about an hour after I left the North Shore dealership. Unless you're a glutton for punishment, don't bother giving these jerks your money.

I just got a Certified Pre-Owned 2016 Mazda CX-3 GT from Morrey Mazda! I must say, I got a really good deal! It was in great condition and had everything I was looking for. On top of that, everyone was just so friendly, helpful and easy to deal with. So happy Justin worked with me on my budget. Even when I was undecided, he was very kind, never pressured me whatsoever and was quick to reply when I had questions. And when I got the car, both Elisha and Milad took the time to explain the options available and to understand what would work best for me, without unnecessary spending. It's my first time buying a car from a dealership and these guys make it a really pleasant experience for me during this kind of nerve wrecking process. Yusuke took time to explain the details of the car to me, made extra effort to make sure I got the best deal. And always made sure that I'm being taken care of. Mike and him also took the time to get to know me and connect on a personal level, which I really appreciate. Elisha did a great job explaining all the numbers and financial part of the deal for me, even did some fancy math to help me even further more. I do not recoomend buying from here. They are not transparent about fees. If you are leasing, the contract is not between you and this dealership. It's between you and the leasing company. So make sure if they offer you anything, you get it in writing, otherwise they won't keep their end of the deal. Also, there is somebody there named Elisha. Don't fall for her acting nice. And last but not least, their service department charges double for everything. Just go to a regular mechanic, you will get a much better deal. I ended up buying out my lease through a different dealer instead of these people. Also, leasing another family car through the one I bought out. Trust me, save your self some pain and go to the one in coquitlam or richmond.

Her genuine kindness and informative meeting today was one of the best professional demonstrations of customer service I've received in this competitive industry. My sales person Arthur was equally a great service to me. The process of purchasing/trading a vehicle with them has always been stress-free, and without intimidation. This is a dealer that provides the personalisation of a small dealership, but the competetive pricing of a large dealership group. First time here now that we’ve moved to the North Shore. Quick turnaround. Easy to get to location. I had called for a basic 40k km service appointment a few days before expecting a delay of a week or more, but I got in two days later for a preferred AM time slot. Vehicle was cleaned inside when I picked it up. Surprised there was no Loyalty Points program though for any service or parts purchases such as the program that Open Road Mazda has. Will consider them for a trade in/buy for a new Mazda when the time comes.

Be very careful dealing with this dealership. They are not transparent about their pricing at all, and they will waste your time. I was interested in purchasing one of their demo 2019 Mazda 3s. On their website it says freight and PDI is included (see screenshot) Makes sense as it’s a used demo vehicle and last year's model. Despite this being clear on their website, in the finance office, they are telling me freight and PDI is additional. This is over $2,500 more. That’s not all. Their website prices are “cash” prices. However it doesn’t say that anywhere on their website. (see screenshot) The actual price when you are financing is about $2,000 more. Plus the freight and PDI you weren’t expecting too. Very disappointed by my experience here, and surprised, as they have a good reputation judging by the reviews. When I pointed out the two discrepancies, they basically said they haven’t really been paying much attention to the website... etc. etc, agreed it was misleading but didn’t offer to do anything. Lots of excuses and a hastily sketched up piece of paper with lots of numbers on it. They will try to bamboozle you. Be very wary. And this was dealing with their sales manager. Are there any honest, and transparent Mazda dealers in Metro Vancouver? The search continues. Hard to believe these sorts of things are still happening at car dealerships in 2020.

Incredible service and extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming staff. I must mention his name Kevin at the services front desk is the best of the best. He wholeheartedly helped me even gave a much needed sweet discount after I had been given a ticket, my car towed, my plates confiscated by a racist VPD officer. The reason was: One of my front lights wasn't working and actually by the time the cop turned his flashing lights on, I already got to my destination, my friends house and I already parked the car. So sad ! Power abusing !!!

Amazing Service in a sticky situation. We bought a beautiful used Mazda CX-9 from Morrey. It was still under warranty and we were confident the car had been looked after. After the warranty expired, there was a problem. Let's just say it was a big one. A real big one. Our first thought was that we were out of luck and our car was toast because of the magnitude of the issue. I called the service department and immediately felt like they understood my concerns and did their level best to keep us looked after. We got a loaner car that was practically new. It took a while as things like this do. Mazda themselves were involved and I am happy to say that in the end the car was fixed and we were thrilled. I am sparse on the details here because the important part of this story is that the staff at Morrey cared about the outcome from the first step. They looked after us and I am not sure many other places would give the level of service that we received. I highly recommend them because they stand behind what they sell and look after people the right way.

I actually bought my Mazda 3 at Open Road Mazda in Port Moody but because I live on the North Shore I take my car here for service. I bought a brand new car in 2011 and took it in for regular maintenance every six month or so. The third time I scheduled my service over the phone like any other time; however, when I showed up the service technician advised me the appointment was going to cost me about $300 because I had to do all these extra things that "needed" to be done at this point in owning the car. I told him I could not afford it as I was not told about this when I made the appointment so I was not prepared to spend an extra $200 that day. He said fine but I would have to do it next time. The next time I came in I asked the service technician (a different one) about this extra work I apparently needed to have done and he seemed confused and said he wasn't sure what this other technician was talking about. I have had three services since and not a single technician has told me I have to have all these things done. I am pretty sure the original technician looked at me and figured I was a stupid woman who knew nothing about cars and would just agree to having things done that probably didn't need to be done. Not Impressed. Now that my warranty is done, I will be taking my car to my cousin's shop as I know he won't try to scam me into having unnecessary work done.

The team here was so lovely. When I went to pick up my car, I ended up changing my mind on the colour, and they bent over backwards to get a new car ready and detailed for me while I waited. The sales team was also very helpful and not the typical back and forth on pricing that most dealerships make you go through. They just gave me the best price. It is a lovely family owned and operated business and I highly recommend their services.

I had a very unusual incident that involved my sunroof exploding while I was driving on a mountain highway. Once I returned to the city Kevin, at Morrey Mazda said he would take care of it and gave me a courtesy car to use while my car was being repaired, which took a few days. It turns out it was a small defect in the sunroof track that caused the explosion. Very scary at the time, for me! I found Kevin to be very service oriented and a delight to talk to.

I've spent the last 6 months car shopping - reading, researching and driving. I've probably visited over 20 dealers throughout the experience. After shortlisting the Mazda3, I visited 4 different Mazda dealers comparing price, dealer experience, and car availability. The only dealer that didn't brag that it was "#1 in everything" was Morrey. I walked into Morrey Northshore and was greeted by Minako who knew they Mazda3 better than anyone I had spoken to. She explained features and benefits accurately without the "I know better than anyone" attitude. The test-drive was great with no, "I'll drive it off the lot and then you can take over" silliness. Minako was great all along the way. The sales manager was quick to provide a competitive price right off the bat (lease price), and ultimately it was better than the negotiated price anywhere else. I counter offered over the phone later on and it was accepted without pressure and "you must be here in person" car-lot antics. I've taken delivery of 3 new cars in my life, and this was by far the most efficient and enjoyable. Alisha Morrey (part of the original family) talked me through various options and coverages, and was maybe one of the friendliest people I've met. There was never any pressure to buy something that I didn't want, and unlike other dealers, the positive attitude didn't change when I said no to add-ons. Morrey Northshore proved to be not only the cheapest option (including a quote from a broker), but also somehow the most convenient (even though I live in Richmond). I would send anyone and everyone looking for a Mazda to Morrey Northshore.

I used to have mazda for 5 years but I had a very bad experience for the first time there . There is a guy named Tom who was in charge of my car service, he never mentioned me the price that I should pay for my last service which was around 2000!! . Surprisingly, He had a very unethical behavior when I went back there to talk to him and to his manager Kevin and I never get a convincing response for what happened. The unprofessional way that they behaved surprised me a lot and I will never go back to Mazda north shore for a service . Great Service Department..... and Sales!! Nice to drive in.... they call you by name... had the service work order all set up.... had the winter tires there with the wheel covers (the storage option is SO appreciated). They also had their courtesy shuttle all set up even to the point that I had mentioned where we wanted to go when i set up the appointment and all that info was shared with the driver... so no need to reiterate what we wanted or where we were going. When our appointment was finished and we needed a ride back.... the shuttle driver was on lunch break so one of the service counter personnel came in his own car to pick us up. Exceptional service!!!

I booked a test drive for a certified used vehicle on Saturday morning. Confirmed via phone and email. When I showed up at the dealership to ask for "Sales Manager Brad" as requested, no one seemed sure about my appointment or which car I was interested in. Turns out they had sold the vehicle earlier that week. I didn't expect it to be held for me, but I should have been told so I could cancel the test drive. I wasted 2 hours of my weekend driving my kids to this dealership and back home for a non-existent vehicle. I bought 2 cars here in the past several years (2011 Mazda3 GS and 2013 Mazdaspeed3) and had an excellent experience both times. My salesman was Vala. He really knows Mazdas and he was able to get me the exact unit and options I wanted both times. With Mazda's 0% interest promos, I already knew what I would be paying going into the dealership and their were no surprises or hidden fees, just the price of the car and a documentation fee, which was waived when I bought my second car. Service is also excellent. Inexpensive and efficient maintenance, and my car is washed and vacuumed every time I get it back. Morrey's service is so much better than other dealers that I drive all the way from Surrey just for an oil change. I tried Freeway Mazda near my home in Surrey and they just didn't compare.

Took my car in for a checkup and they didn’t call me to notify it was ready. I waited a full day and when I called and asked about it they told me that yes they had forgotten about it that it was ready since the morning. I had to arrange transportation for a full day when they could’ve called me earlier. So I recommend calling them if they don’t call you within the expected timeframe.

I usually have a pretty good experience there, and the guys would explain to me what extra services needed to be done and the cost. But I did not have a good experience today. I went in for my 1pm appointment on time, only to be told that my car would be worked on next after the mechanics come back from their lunch break. I talked to the front about the battery in my car remote key, and the guy told me that he can get the battery changed. I'm usually told how long the wait would be and be offered a ride to somewhere else. That didn't happen today. I asked what time I should return and was told 90 minutes. I came back in 90 minutes and my car was still being serviced. I waited a total of 2 hours for a standard service and was also charged $20 for changing the battery in my remote car key without being first told about the cost. Did not leave happy today.

Every time I came in to see the Sales Manager, he was always attentive while keeping my best interest in mind; he provided options that were understandable and not 'salesy'. Too Long Didn't Read (TLDR): I was lucky to get the vehicle I wanted from Morrey Mazda of the Northshore at the Northshore Auto Mall in North Vancouver. The full experience: I recently purchased a vehicle from Morrey Mazda of the Northshore, the representative I worked with was Justin Erb. I don't live reasonably near the dealership, so it's kind of a hassle to get to, and this is important to note for later on, as I was there for a very specific vehicle with a unique feature that ended up there as a lease return. The only other 2 similar vehicles in the country with the feature I was looking for were in Quebec. After searching constantly everyday for weeks, one morning the specific vehicle I was looking for showed up on AutoTrader. I called and drove over there in my loss-of-use car rental within the hour, and signed my deposit papers within the next. I didn't negotiate the price or doc fee, as the price was reasonable, and I wanted to expedite the process. No sooner than I signed, a random customer approached my representative Justin and asked for the vehicle. That's how in demand the vehicle was. I did not leave with the vehicle that day, as I agreed to opt for their loyalty program financing, and being on a weekend afternoon, there would be time needed for providing some documentation and approval from the bank. Prepared to collect the vehicle on the coming weekday, I took a 1.5 hour transit to the dealer, my loss--of-use car rental would also expire this day, good timing, or so I thought. After waiting several hours at the dealership, because of a lack of due process and inspection of the lease return from the dealership, it was clear I was not going to be able to collect the vehicle. I took the transit home, Justin was able to shave off some of my time by driving me to the Seabus. A couple days later, with updated notifications throughout the process from Justin, and confirming everything was good to go, I again took the 1+ hour'ish transit back to the dealership, with Justin picking me up from the Seabus. The transaction went without a hitch this time, and I was off driving home quickly. My perspective: Nobody is immune from making mistakes, even the stellar team at Morrey Mazda. Their team is very professional, courteous, and transparent with everything I can remember. Throughout the realization of the issue which prevented me from collecting the vehicle the first time I took the long transit trip, the dealership apologized profusely, and I felt they made every effort to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. They offered suggestions on how they could make it up to me, and we settled on how they could provide me with adequate compensation (I settled for a specific accessory I had my eye on). It is an understatement to say they went above and beyond to try and resolve the issue to get me in the car and send me on my way as quick as possible the first time I made the transit trip. Throughout the entire process, despite the hiccup, from the moment I stepped foot at the dealership to my last, the experience was a very positive one. Other thoughts: It was obvious for me from the get-go to see how reputable Morrey Mazda of the Northshore was. Being in the Northshore Auto Mall with a lot of other top auto manufacturer brands/dealerships, they seemed noticeably a lot busier, even during this pandemic health situation.

Every since my friend has moved away from this location , i have had terrible experiences across a lot of their sales teams. The service desk has always been great. Just recently I was looking to buy a new car and Minako reached out to me to discuss the options. She quoted me a price of 23,500 for a new car. After doing further digging, i noticed that there was room to negotiate and through several emails, I mentioned to her that I'd be looking for a deal. I was given a deal from another dealer ship and I wrote the price to her hoping that when i arrived on the Sunday she would match or beat it. Her reply to the email was in her own words: Hi Behdad, Please bring your credit card and cheque book to buy a car on Sunday not just to talk. No negotiation can be made without commitment. Thanks, Minako I saw this as extremely unprofessional. I work in sales as well and I would never think of responding like this. After this, I cancelled my appointment on Sunday and I purchased a car from Destination Mazda with a great deal. Never going back to the north shore office.

WARNING if you lease a car from Morrey: If you are at the end of lease and are buying out the car, they will want to charge you $695 for the inspection and paperwork. It's a total cash grab. DO NOT listen to them; you do not have to return the car to the dealership you bought it at. I went to Metrotown Mazda, and they were happy to do it for $125 and did not care if I bought the car there or leased another one from them. Morrey's daughter, who runs the finance department, doesn't seem to care about losing business and referrals. Mazda's are great cars, but I would use Metrotown next time

While trying to book an appointment to change my tires, I discovered that I was missing a wheel lock set for my car. I called Mazda North Van and asked if they had wheel lock sets that they sold. They told me they only had one master set that couldn't leave their workspace. A friend of mine called and asked the same information, and Mazda contradicted themselves and said they did indeed sell wheel lock sets. However, due to the outrageous price, I chose to go to Mazda Langley. In the process of making and cancelling car appointments with Mazda North Van, my friend and I experienced not only serious attitude from the servicing people, but also experienced being hung up on on two different occasions. My experience with the service dept has been great! I bought a used RX8 and had taken it to a Mazda dealer closer to home, and they had me thinking the process of an engine replacement was going to be at least a month long ordeal. I took a chance after hearing Morrey had done a replacement for someone else last year and drove over from white rock. I went in expecting them to take my info and get back to me.. and I left with a deposit paid and an engine en route with a week delivery estimate! It only took them a few days to swap out my engine for the new one, and the entire process was painless and simple. I felt way more confident leaving there with my new engage than I did leaving my local Mazda after my first oil change.. I’ll definitely be making the hour+ drive out for future service and repairs!

I just bought a used Mazda 3 hatchback from Morrey. I had emailed about a vehicle to see if it was still available and Maria the appointment coordinator responded very quickly to say it was. I said I couldn’t come till the weekend as I lived an hour away. So we set up the appt and she kept in touch with me to let me know it was still available up to the morning of us coming. I really appreciated that. We got there and the salesman started the car we had come to look at but the battery was dead, they quickly came and jump started it, in the mean time we decided to take a different one for a test drive as it was still the colour I wanted but a hatchback which is what I had always wanted anyways. Long story short, we made a deal with my trade in, I knew prior what my car would be worth. Brad gave me what I wanted for my car and I asked for a deal as it was a cash sale, and he did that for me. So the car was in line for a final clean so they offered a shuttle for us if wanted to go and kill time till it was ready. We came back and George the delivery specialist handed me the key. The next day I realized I had no manual in the glove box. I know they usually get taken out and then given to the new owner. Apparently this vehicle never came in with one. So George located an extra one and mailed it out to me no charge. We even got a courtesy call from Stephen a couple days after the purchase. That’s great service. So just a quick thanks to Stephen and Brad for giving us a good first experience with Morry Mazda.

Everyone, including the receptionist was too busy either socializing or on Facebook - I was at the dealership at 11:30 on a Saturday expecting it to be busy - not the case! This should have been an indication but decided to go in anyways. I waited around for a few minutes and the asked for some assistance - was interested in a Mazda 6. I waited another 10 mins and asked again for some help - there were sales people drinking coffee and joking around and didn't bother to assist - I can understand if you are busy but when you are standing around doing nothing, that is really bad customer service. AUGUST 2017 - DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. Horrendous sales staff - After spending 10 minutes waiting to be served (all the while watching idle sales staff stare at through their glass offices), I was approached by Lease Manager Minako Inouye, who walked up as said "Yes" - not hello, not how can I help you. I had done my research and was ready to buy a 2017 CX-5 GT, and wanted their best price, needing a quote so I could have my company account cut a cheque. Minako refused to give me pricing, and when I requested to speak to her manager, she stormed off to speak with Brad Erautt, General Sales Manager. Brad then said that "If you need pricing in writing, that we are not interested in dealing with you, and you can leave". I've never, ever come across this level of hostility and terrible sales practice ever. Needless to say, they lost the sale. One day later, purchased a Ford Escape for myself, upgraded the company fleet of 5 smaller cars to Ford Focus - a sale of $93,900 to their direct competitors. I would have preferred to buy the Mazda's, but will not let that awful level of service be rewarded. Side note - I called the dealer principal ( Steve Morrey) before purchasing from Ford to see if he would be interested in my feedback and try to save the deal - got his voicemail, and didn't get a returned call, at all.

Sales team very dismissive and unhelpful, told me I should’ve bought the warranty and should’ve expected this from a mid 2000s car. Rushed me off the phone and transferred me to the service department. Now I need to fully cover the cost of repairs, even though brakes (which are rusted and worn with a years worth of wear in 2 months) were not flagged on the service report. Mechanic said this is abnormal wear and this should’ve been flagged on the last service check. Get a second opinion or don’t bother purchasing from here. The hassle and poor customer service I have received is not worth it. Very disappointed.

Morrey Mazda of etc Northshore has the best service department of any dealership I've had cars service with over past 20 years (Morrey Nissan, which used to be just off Marine drive was great in the early 1990s, and used to service my old 1980s Micra was another excellent example). All the guys that work the desk go out of their way to make sure your car is in perfect condition and are impeccable in details on your service. That said, my 2013 Mazda 3 GT only needed oil changes (I bought the VIP package which includes a free carwash anytime and oil changes for the life of the car) and one brake job over 4.5 years. The sales staff, led by Brad and Mike -- and including super salesman Michael Sit -- are amicable, congenial, respectful, no pressure, helpful, caring (yes, they care about their customers' satisfaction and needs), and genuine people. Yesterday, I bought a CX5 GT, loaded with 'goodies', and was given a customer loyalty discount and excellent interest rate. Michael Sit carefully explained everything throughout the sales process and when the papers were signed spent a great deal of time helping with the set up of the technology package and other details. My Mazda 3 GT was a great sporty car, the CX5 is amazing and also has a tight, sporty feel. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience, and look forward to many years of great, safe driving and continued A+ service with the CX5. Thanks, Morrey Mazda -- you hit a grand slam with the whole package!

I was thrilled with the service I received from Kevin. Panic set in when my check engine light came on for the 1st time in my 15 years of owning my 2003 Mazda Protege just after Christmas. I first called a closer Mazda dealer who wanted a $350.00 deposit to run diagnostics. I was shocked and said NO. Then I called Morrey Mazda North Shore, I was told to drive it in and they would run diagnostics for free as they were not that busy at the moment. I did just that and they quickly discovered I had a crack in my air intake manifold. Part was in house and they replaced the part while I went for breakfast. 1 hour, $154.00 parts and labor, plus they vacuumed, polished windows and washed the street salt off my car. It was like a late Christmas gift!! Thank -you Kevin and Morrey Mazda North Shore. I'll be back!!

I requested an oil change for my vehicle which was completed. I was given a bill for $40.00 for which I was unsure why i was being billed as I paid for VIP oil changes when purchasing the car. There was no one to talk to and i was told to pay for it and call back in the morning (I did not appreciate my car being held for ransom for a charge not requested). I called the next morning at around 8:30 am to talk to someone about the charges shown on the bill. The charge was for rotating my tires which was not requested and totally unnecessary. The day before I had my snow tires removed and summer tires installed at Kal Tire. Make sure you check your bill when work has been done. Who knows what extras they add.

I bought my Mazda 3 GX Sport from a different automotive dealer than Mazda and have been bringing it to Morrey Mazda since I got it. Since my first service the service rep has been very friendly, informative, helpful. I never feel like he is pushing me to get any services done that I do not require and I always feel like I am getting good work done at a fair price. I know taking it to an independent garage would likely be cheaper but it can be hard to find an honest mechanic and when you find one you trust you stick with it.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I went in for an oil change (I purchased the lifetime oil change package when I bought the car) and was told my brakes needed attention. The quote was between $350-$500. The bill that was presented was over $1000. No one came out to explain, ask, or otherwise inform that the bill would be double the quoted price. I called the service manager who said he'd get back to me the next day. Never heard a word. Emailed Steve Morrey. Not an acknowledgement. It's been a couple of months. I was not looking to get something for nothing. I need brakes. But I appreciate customer service and Morrey Mazda does NOT provide this.
