4/5 - Great, friendly service from Aaron. Although the dealership wasn’t able to secure my car loan (would have liked to see a bit more effort made to get the loan approved) with my down payment they did hold the car until I was able to secure financing. Only other thing ill mention was the ‘trade in offer’ made was not honoured when I came to the decision to go ahead with it a few days later once financing was secured. So far I’m very happy with the vehicle, and appreciated that it was meticulously cleaned and insurance was done very quickly on site.

We bought a used SUV from this location. Great purchase experience, salesman was solid, but the experience deteriorated once we had to deal with the service center. After they did a final inspection, we noticed that a side panel holding an airbag was misaligned (sticking out), so we had to take back. They ordered rain guards and said they'd install them for us and sent us to grab them from VW. We went but they were closed when we were told to go there. We went again but when we brought them to Audi, they wanted $300 to install them. A YouTube video can tell you it takes 5 minutes to install... So we didn't take them up on their offer. Sales experience 5/5, post-sale/service experience 1/5. Update: the dealership reached out to correct the mishap with the service team. They were able to install the agreed upon parts and we're good

I was in the market for a new vehicle and saw that Audi Capilano had a very low mileage Mercedes Benz E350 Wagon available. The wagon version is very rare and was very appealing to me. I contacted Audi Capilano and was put in touch with Chris Bong. From the first moment, I was treated like a valued client and was expertly helped along the way. Trade-in for my truck was more than reasonable and we quickly came to a good deal. The Mercedes under went a multi-point inspection and it was found that the tires needed replacement. These were replaced by A-brand tires (multi-seasion M+S) before delivery. During my inspection of the Mercedes, I noticed that one of the rims was damaged and this was repaired before delivery. However, during the inspection, Audi Capilano found that all four rims were damaged (damage was covered by the previous owner by plastic rim protectors) and they repaired all four rims! Excellent Service! And to put the cherry on top of the cake; Chris Bong called me two weeks after the purchase to inform me that the original owner of the car still had a set of winter tires (with rims) at his home. Chris arranged the wheels to be picked up from the original client and now they are waiting for me to be picked up. All in all, excellent service and care by Audi Capilano and in particular by Chris Bong.

After visiting a few Audi dealerships, and being disappointed with the results, I visited this one, and was satisfied. I got to test drive a vehicle without hassle and without pressure. The salesman followed up with me afterward and was a real joy to work with. I recomend asking for Trevor Smith at this location. I had no issues with parking, and the staff made me feel like a VIP offering bottled water. I would skip other Audi locations and just go see these guys.

November 2020 I wanted to provide an update from my last post in 2018 as the experience at Capilano Audi is just incredible! I’ve been to the other Audi locations in greater Vancouver and can tell you that their service cannot compare. This is the fourth Audi that my family has purchased from Tim because he is truly a trusted advisor to us. He will be straight up with you and tell you what is possible and what is not and will follow through with any promises he has made. If you’re in the market for a car, go look for Tim! September 2018 Been coming to see Tim for the last couple of years as I was considering an Audi but couldn’t commit to one at the moment. We kept in touch for 2 years and he was always professional and wanted to build a long term relationship instead of making a one time sale. I finally made the decision and got my first Audi! The team at Capilano Audi did an amazing job and I would highly recommend them.

I had leased a 2020 Q3 vehicle last year. I had twin baby girls this year and we needed more space. We finalized our decision to lease Q7 this summer. It was a pleasure to work with Tim Cheung. He responded our concerns and questions in a timely fashion. Tim, thanks for bearing with us at that time when we were very busy with our newborns! Ashley McBurney helped me quickly set up the insurance for Q7. I appreciate a lot that she dropped off the paperwork to my door while I was super pregnant. Audi Q7 had perfectly fit our needs but after we got our Q7 we had several issues within the first weeks. It randomly gives engine error when turning it on and requires us to open and close gas lid for no reason. I had issues mid rear seat retractor when I was sitting with my kids. It was locked even if I release it. The wireless charger is heating itself and phone. Sometimes we are scared if the battery will explode. The service has checked the car quickly a couple of times but couldn’t see any error messages for these matters. It doesn’t mean there is no issue if the error was not properly thrown and caught by the system. It’s super annoying to drop off the car to the service for checking and returning the car with no proper fix. It’s like a ping pong. Long story short, we are not comfortable and happy with our experience with this vehicle and the quality of the vehicle. We haven’t had any issue with Q3.

I can say for my first Audi purchase, the experience with Capilano Audi was excellent. Capilano Audi was the only Audi dealership in my area with the vehicle I wanted available for a test drive. Adrian, the brand specialist who took me on the test drive, is very professional and knows the car’s key features. Adrian and Ryan also adjusted the price to stay competitive with another dealer’s quote. Between ordering and delivery, just shy of 5 months, James and Craig dealt with my custom wheels order, and Craig, the parts consultant, ensured that they were installed and polished when I picked up my car. Andrew was very courteous and explanatory when I came to arrange for payment. The one complaint I do have is that the boxed stock wheels, for me to take home, were left directly on the brand new leather with no plastic protection after detailing. Luckily, there wasn’t any unwanted creasing - aluminum wheels are heavy. Adrian and Matt seeing I was unhappy, immediately removed the boxes and folded down the back seats and replaced the boxes in the car as they should have been stored to begin with. Matt, the delivery specialist, gave me a very detailed orientation of the vehicle at delivery and the dealership included a nice set of complimentary gifts. First impressions are the most important. So far, I am impressed. I am certain that the professionalism will be the same when I return for my first 15,000 km service and I hope for it to continue throughout as I purchased the Audi Maintanence Care Package.

Sadly, no Stars is a low as you a rating you can have Recently my parents purchased a used vehicle from Capilano Audi. Being present for the discussions between the dealer and my parents, I thought it’s important to shed light on their experience. They recently bought a used vehicle. I suppose as they are elderly Capilano Audi felt that they had won by selling the vehicle at the full listed price with a 2 week warranty. On the way home it was discovered that the vehicle as not functioning properly. Upon reaching back to the dealership, the dealership claimed that the problems must have occurred on the way home, or during the evening the vehicle was parked. To be clear the problems with the vehicle where as a result of possible rodents chewing cables and causing systems to fail. In all the decades living in the area we are in, there has never been a single case of this on any of our vehicles, which are many. Rather than honouring the agreed offer of a 2 week warranty, the dealership felt it appropriate to have my parents insurance be used to fix a repair that they should have been responsible for. I am actually disgusted, that any dealership would treat any customer of theirs this way. In what is over 60 years of buying vehicles, this was the singularly worst experience they have ever had. There is no way that I would recommend this dealership to people I didn’t like, moreover someone I did. They clearly have not got a concept of the words responsibility or honour when it come to an agreement.

Update: After my review the General Manager contacted me and promptly resolved the issue. The brake problem remains but I am glad that they took out time to come to my place to inspect the car and address the issue. Thanks a lot! Original post: This was my first service at Capilano Audi and unfortunately I did not have a positive experience. There was a squeaking noise that comes from front wheel breaks when I take out the car from garage. I had pointed this issue to the service advisor to check for the cause of it. I was expecting there will be some cleaning up or repair to be done. After the service, when I enquired if they could fix it, the service advisor told me that even half a million dollar cars in downtown have the same issue and that there is nothing to worry about. I wasn't really expecting such a casual approach to my concerns. When I looked at the inspection report, I figured out that they had not even recorded this as a customer concern in the report. Being an Audi shop I was expecting they would know their work in and out and would be able to fix it. But they had not even tried looking at it during the service. Overall I found their response quite cold, to be honest. Also there is a lack of a proper customer lounge at Capilano Audi. While the car was being serviced, they had asked me to wait in a room where other employees where having lunch. I feel they can do better as a premium auto shop, in terms of their involvement to work and customer interaction.

I recently purchased a used 2018 Audi S3 from Jae (Salesman). Lets start with the good points. I was calling from out of town (Kelowna) and the dealership was very accommodating for me driving from as few hours away to pick up the car under limited time. After a random failure on the Audi the day before I was supposed to pick it up, the dealership was quick in getting the vehicle prepared and repaired for a following day pick up. The process was very quick once I arrived to the dealership as I was on a time crunch and they were very accommodating. Jae was a fantastic salesman. He always replied quickly if I had a question and was very knowledgeable on the vehicle platform. Very friendly and made the purchase process seamless. I requested specific information from them about the car, which the followed up on without hesitation. They sent me good pictures and videos of the car before I traveled to Vancouver to pick it up, to insure it was in good condition. For the bad points. When I received my Audi vehicle it was very dirty on the inside (outside was spotless however). I would have expected more from an Audi dealership, but the rear seats had dirt and hair on them and it seemed that the floors weren't vacuumed. I might be setting the bar a little high as I have a side job to detail vehicles, but definitely expected more from Audi on delivery day. I also never received a follow-up call from them to see how I liked the car. I was sent an email that following night after picking up the car stating it is policy for them to contact me, which I never received anything. After driving the car home I also had an issue with it and reached out to the dealership for assistance, but never was called back from the service department as promised.

I find it bizzare that this dealership refuse to work with out of province buyers for purchases. Seems like the dealership doesn't want to deal with the hassle and risk associated with it.....while it is certainly within their right to pick and choose their customers, certainly doesnt feel like a good business practice to discriminate against their customers based on where they reside. Full disclosure, I offered to sign a waiver as well, indicating that I would take the car as is with no warranty implied or otherwise....but they were still not willing to budge on this bizzare "policy". In this day and age, a customer is a customer, whether online or in person, and to have to plead with a sales manager to sell me a car overall does not feel customer centric. Ultimately customer service is not about what you do for someone, it's about how you make someone feel, and this experience left me feeling pretty crummy...hence the 1 star review.

Our situation was slightly complicated as we weren't BC residents yet but the Capilano team (Andrew, Ashley, Lachin) made it easy for us in every possible way and were very comprehensive in the information they provided. Long story short, I'm Australian on a tourist visa purchasing the car for my Canadian Alberta partner. There were a few extra hurdles, but we got there in the end. I appreciated the details given in obtaining the discounts for ICBC insurance. And peace of mind to learn that I could buy warranty for a 10year old car. There was some miscommunication surrounding the amount we could put on a credit card, as I wanted to put the whole amount on the card for qantas points but I understand why they have a max limit in place. Also being a used car, there were some minor hiccups with the Ad shown on their website and autotrader. The autofill feature indicated some features that did not match the vehicle upon my initial inspection. However Lachin quickly apologised and we were able to come to an agreement anyway. Overall, we had a delightful experience from Capilano Audi, we're happy with the car and it was delivered to us in top condition with all the paperwork. We had a very bad experience at Capilano Audi. We were thinking to buy a used car from them and after arriving at the dealership, it was only maybe 10 minutes until we were pressured to come inside and look at paperwork. We were then told that it should be before a certain time, hours before it even closed. Why would we be rushed so much? We then went somewhere else and found a much better, and way better quality car for around the same price. We instantly felt comfortable with the other salesman at the other dealership and not once did we feel comfortable with Trevor, at Audi. He had dark sunglasses on and it is so unprofessional to wear dark glasses while discussing business. We weren’t offered water and had to wait almost 2 hours to get our deposit back. Once we were back to get our deposit back, he then showed us paperwork that had $1500 extra on it!! They put the car in the shop the day we arrived or the day before so that we would have to pay for the service! Why wasn’t it serviced before? If you don’t like being rushed or aren’t a rich millionaire from Vancouver, don’t spend time here. I pay for good service and I wasn’t going to give someone commission for horrible service. What is even worse, when he asked why we weren’t getting the car, we said we found a better one for us and I was going to continue talking and HE WALKED AWAY WHILE I WAS TALKING TO HIM. So unprofessional. You are allowed to choose what dealer and car you want!

I am a repeat customer buying my 2nd car from capilano audi. the sales process was awesome, my sales adviser Justin was very professional and was quick to answer all my questions. Due to covid i chose to buy the car over the phone- its a pandemic and i have health conditions that make me at a higher risk for catching stuff. Lets start off by the delivery of the car. I picked up a 2001 Acura for not a huge sum of money, no issue with what i bought. I paid full asking price, even paid the $495 doc fee. I was told that i couldnt take delivery of the car as it needed a mechanical inspection first. Again i paid for it so why not have it looked over. The Audi techs work on cars worth hundreads of thousands of dollars- what is a 20 year old acura?? As i am taking delivery of the car the manager comes to me congratulates me on my purchase. Tells me that i got new wiper blades, a fresh oil change, and a new cabin filter as it had never been changed.- the cabin filter was really dirty he tells me. Also that there is a minor oil leak... its more of a weep and nothing to worry about. I am very familiar with these cars as i had a one many years ago and i can see it and im not worried about it. I expect a 20 year old car to need some small things. i am buying it as is. Anyhow i take delivery, drive the car around all evening. there is a sticky substance on the steering wheel and shifter. Huh?? capilano Audis website says that they spray down each steering wheel with a cleaner. its the protocol they suppose to do to every car that comes into their shop. No way did the steering wheel on my car get cleaned. No problem, i brought it home and cleaned it myself. my micro fiber cloth was so dirty i tossed it. Im still okay with it- its an old car and things get missed. no problem - next morning one of my mechanic friends comes by to take a look at it. First thing he notices is that the car is low exactly 1 liter of oil. looks like no one double checked the oil level. the repair manual says it needs 4 liters, it only has 3??? oh no. i add the oil and msg Justin. He deeply apologizes and says he will pass on the feedback to the shop supervisor. No car should ever be driven with low oil!! I start to suspect that my car was not checked. I asked my mechanic friend to check the cabin filter. The manager specifically told me how bad it was; but after the low oil, what else was missed?? As hes opening up the dashboard to get to the filter he tells me that its highly supect that these screws have ever been removed before. 5 mins later it was confirmed. he opened up the flap where the filter should be and wow..... This car has no filter and a bunch of dried up leaves fall out. Turns out that Acura integras in north america never came with cabin filters. I was lied to. straight to my face. I would have been 100% happier if he said nothing at all, but since i was specifically told how bad the filter was- Sorry Cap audi, your 5 star review is now a 1 star review. I am still a paying customer. I know you made good profit on this car- what was the point in Lying to my face???

Derek definitely has customer service skills; however, Ryan has to work on his customer resolution skills. Overall, this time I am satisfied with Capilano Audi. Below is my initial review of my post sales service experience at Capilano Audi. Not impressed with post sale customer service. Sales person was OK during vehicle purchase but once you bought the car the service was awful. Purchased an ex-demo and 2 weeks later I bought winter tires for it. Stored the summer tires in my garage and this spring when I was going to swap the winter tires out I notice there are cracks in the tread area. Notified my salesperson and was told they cannot do anything about it because it is tire issue. He said dealer cannot help me. He said if I stored the winter tires at their facility then he may be able to help me otherwise I'm on my own. The Pirelli P Zero tires had only 3100km on them and was stored away during winter. I was on my own. In March I went to a local Pirelli authorized dealer for see if Pirelli will cover the basically 'new' tires under warranty. The rep took some pictures and sent it to Pirelli head office. Just recently the tire shop got back to me and said it's not covered under warranty. They call this "cold cracking" and it's due to the summer tires being out in the cold. The Pirelli rep told the tire shop rep that the dealer should have caught these cracks during vehicle inspection. Does that mean my vehicle wasn't inspected prior to selling me the car? Or did the dealer know about the cracks in the tires? Now I need to pay $1700 for a set of 4 new tires.

My husband and I were in search of a certified pre-owned Audi and came into Capilano Audi because there were a few cars that we were interested in that we had seen on their website. I had inquired online through their website and was promptly contacted by Chris B. from the dealership and we set-up an appointment to meet for a test drive. Upon meeting with Chris B, we immediately felt relaxed and at ease with his personality and cheerfulness. He addressed our needs and answered all of our questions. We did not feel any pressure to make a decision right away to buy or rushed throughout the process even though it was the end of the month like we had felt at another dealership that we had visited earlier that morning. Chris is genuinely a nice guy and you can tell he enjoys his job and is a fan of the Audi product. He made our whole purchasing experience seamless and stress free. The entire dealership had a relaxed atmosphere with courteous staff and Covid precautions were in place. Being both frontline workers, we even were given a discount for our purchase which was a nice bonus to us! We decided on a certified pre-owned 2017 Q5 3.0L Progressiv. The only negative point has nothing to do with the salestaff but is worthy to mention as other reviewers have commented on the same issue. The detailing on the car on delivery was lacking. On the exterior body and wheels, there were many missed dirt spots and also an area of bird droppings still caked on the bumper, both exhaust tail pipes were completely covered in black soot and it was apparent that the upholstery had not been cleaned. For the mandatory amount that is charged for detailing, we expected more meticulous attention to detail especially from an Audi dealership. Although the car is a certified pre-owned versus brand new, we felt that much more attention could have been paid during detailing process as my husband managed to detail our 15 year old Audi A4 Avant which looked far more impeccable than this 3 year old vehicle. We mentioned this to Chris B. and he may be able to rectify the situation but still waiting to hear back. Overall, we had a great experience with Capilano Audi and would recommend seeing Chris B. at the dealership to friends. Coincidentally, we had purchased our first Audi at this same dealership in 2005 and are returning customers. We would have given this dealership a 5-star rating had it not been for the sub-par detailing job. UPDATE: Chris B. was able to get another detail for our car and they did it in house within a few days. They gave me a ride to Park Royal mall to pass the time while they worked on the car. JM made sure to address my concerns of their initial detail job and wanted to make sure that they did a thorough job this time and spent a good 3+ hours detailing the car including a cut and polish. When the job was finished the vehicle looked showroom clean and shiny! We are very satisfied with all the staff at Capilano Audi and their dedication to customer service. Would give them more stars if possible for all their effort!

Hello I wanted to pass on a great used car buying experience. This was my first time purchasing a used vehicle from a distance. It is difficult to know what condition a vehicle is in without being able to see it and take it for a test drive. Capilano Audi and my salesperson Lachin did a great job providing my with detailed pictures and video walk around so that I was able to see a detailed view of the car. They also did the inspection and provided that information. We flew in and went for a test drive before completing all the paperwork and then did a long journey home. We found couple paint chips in the rear bumper during delivery, which is not a big deal. They promised to send me the touch up paint when it is in . Followed up with Aaron again in August and called him , he seems to be very impatient. Texted him twice about touch up paint and never answered me back. Maybe because the deal is closed and he doesn't care anymore? Thought I might come back to get another Audi and now maybe not.

We got our Audi from Audi at Northshore automall. We were super happy with Rory Thies. He's very knowledgeable and professional and yet Not car salesmanish. He was very honest and helpful. We went in there just to browse and half an hour later we had given him the deposit for Audi etron. The car was a beauty and the arrival date was exactly as he promised. We definitely recommend him and eventhough there was no discount or extra perks to sweaten the deal which is out of character for buying a Luxary car, his very honest and charming approach was what sealed the deal. As we needed an electric car and we absolutely didn't want to get a tesla. And are happy with our purchase so far .

Tim was nothing short of spectacular, from top to bottom, start to finish, he had been so patient, knowledgeable, and amazingly friendly. The manager went out of his way to help me out and correct some small details on the used Hyundai I was buying. I could not believe the service I got on a used. Went to service three time until they "FINALLY" solved the problem with 20km "test drive" on sport mode??? as well as scratch on the key!!!
