Had a great experience with Darren! We walked in, he spent literally hours with me answering every question in the book (even knowing I had no intention of buying a car that particular day!). I do not like pushy salesmen and Darren is definitely not that! I did visit two other dealerships that same day that I walked out of due to their sales people quite obviously not wanting to work for their pay cheque. Darren did not have an easy task to find me the car I wanted in a manual transmission but he did it...he did it with a smile on his face and never made me feel like I was putting him out. I give 1 star to celine who gaving us what we have asking for. But the sales manager calceled the deal we had after we made it (credit check made, deposit made, and papers for the trade signed) asking 6500$ more over it. Really disapointed of true north chevrolet in Northbay for us we will never going there again.

Had my vehicle undercoated by True North recently. After waiting almost 2 hours from the appointment time, my car was finally returned to me. The advisor tells me they may not have washed it, and gave me a car wash coupon. I find the car in the parking lot, covered in an oil mist and oil/grease on the floor mats. The windshield wipers had been used, smearing the windshield. Disappointment turned to shear frustration when I looked over the undercoat application - the top of the frame, inner fenders didn't have ANY undercoat applied!? No holes drilled in the doors or rockers to apply the product in the cavities?? I showed the issues to the advisor, that shrugged it off and claimed that's the way it's done. Maybe... and not returning to this place and posting the experience is also how it's done. Buyer beware - the service is $$$, the quality is poor, the service is pitiful.

In early April I brought my car to the dealership due to my warranty was with them. I had an issue with my car acting up after I went past 60 km, once they looked at my car they said it was going to be $1000 due to the air cooler needing to be fixed, once it was all ready, I drove my car away and noticed the issue wasn't fixed. And to find out it was just the spark plug that needed to be fixed, switch was covered under Warranty. Horrible experience when I fix was so easy.

Had a surprisingly great experience with my sales rep. She was very helpful and didn't pressure me into anything, when I mentioned specific things I didn't want (added warranties etc) she didn't bring them up again or attempt to hard-sell them. I was given the space, time and information I needed to make an informed decision. Additionally, I'm kind of a pain in the ass customer who wanted to test drive multiple vehicles over the course of 4 days, each time I was there I had the reps full attention. It was refreshing to see such great sales service. My sales rep didn't immediately have the answers to some of my questions but she was able to get the answers for me before I had left the dealership.Three weeks later still no buyers remorse!

While camping in Restoule Provincial Park, the starter motor on my SUV failed. I had it towed to True North. We explained the situation to Antony, the customer service representative, as we had a trailer and needed to vacate the site. True North immediately got on the job and we got our truck back within a few hours. Unfortunately the replacement starter motor was faulty. Again True North came through. They immediately sourced a second replacement that was more expensive and fitted it at no expense to us. We found Antony to be excellent and the rest of the True North staff we came into contact also. We were not local and are unlikely to use TN again but the way they looked after us you would think we had just bought a brand new Cadillac from them. My overall experience with the True North dealership was pleasing. I found Charlie, my sales person, knowledgeable and helpfull. I found a couple of issues, not serious but frustrating at times. Like when asking for a price breakdown on my new vehicle, on paper it took a couple of requests. It was provided verbally, but I requested something I could go over and make some comparisons. Not sure if this is the space to mention this but now that I am home and had a chance to go over my financing papers I see I am paying a little over 6%. This is concerning when you hear financing rate in the 2 to 3% from other dealerships, not sure what or if anything can be done at this stage, but would be nice to have it explained. I must have missed something because I don't remember ever being asked any questions about the rates except that I wanted to deal with my bank. If that meant the 6% I feel I should have had that explained and given other options if they existed for a lower rate. All for now and enjoying my new ride. I call it BLACK NASTY, because the 2 letters on my plate are BN????. Thanks Folks. Alan & Dawn Morin

Got truck used thought was great .sales person was good. But the 2015 truck I purchased assumed was maintained and serviced before I bought it had 110 000 km figured if purchase would have had oil change .only put 2000 km had oil change done because low oil pressure loss of power and stall hard restart .think burns oil.internal problem with engine have it scheduled in Thursday its under waranty so better rectify problem .for a 45000 dollar veicle after taxes and fees figure be good veicle only 6 years old .

At first we were happy buying our 2020 traverse RS last year. Had 7km on it when we drove it off the lot. now it's nothing but issues, with the dealerships tech taking it for a joy ride as I watched with my own eyes as he peeled through the parking lot and down the road. After complaining about it and asking for videos that they took forever to send to me in good quality, all I got was a sorry and a bunch of excuses. As for the rest of the issues such as computer/ wiring malfunctions which are a huge safety concern for my family, GM has denied warranty several times. When we purchased the vehicle we paid for the best warranty package they offered. im hoping this is a one time thing and nobody else is getting screwed around but I will definitely be getting a lawyer involved and will continue to let people know my experience with GM so far.

Horrible experience. I have never had to stand around outside for 35 minutes Walking around wanting help as we were ready to buy and than had to walk inside to ask and be told there is no one to hell us as they only had one person on to help. For a big dealership you think they would be ready for people and if didnt have anyone at the moment they would still at least be helpful. Not impressed at all and lost our business.

Drove my car off the lot and noticed the tire was completely flat - went to check and big piece of metal was lodged in tire. Went back to ask them about it and apparently could have happened anywhere from their lot to around the corner and been flat within a minute. Offered to fix it but had to pay the extra fee again. ALSO heard a weird banging noise so checked the tire.. Wasn't even tightened. Again.. This is all just driving it off the lot! Won't be back.

I had a grease fitting that was losing grease from the spring loaded ball at the top of the fitting on my lower control arm and I asked if they could change that for me. First they said that there was no fitting on my 2015 Silverado then they said that it must have been changed then they said that they couldn't change the fitting that I'd need a new control arm. I brought it to Canadian tire and they fixed it in five minutes. True North's attitude was terrible he actually told me to bring my truck somewhere else. The service has always been terrible. I will never buy another vehicle from them again.

We bought a car here and then a month later bought a truck the car was great the first truck was horrible broke down and they kept guessing what was wrong with finally after a month they took truck back after giving us the run around the salesman that sold us the car and truck was awesome and my wife wanted to get her snow tires off at last minute told her they only take credit card we dont believe in credit cards so she asked for her tires back give her the run around again till I finally called manager we will never buy a car from here again or get the car and truck fixed here horrible service and a very bad experience

I drove up not in a true north brand vehicle. Walked over to the parts counter and wanted to buy tires. The parts guy said he doesn't have anything that I wanted in and I should go home and look on line and if I found something I liked i could come back. Well that was very generous of him to send me home to do his job and not even look at what he had in. Took my business elsewhere permanently. It's all about the service. Oh and I own 12 vehicles.

From my test drive to making the decision to buy, I felt supported and all my concerns were addressed. My only disappointment was to find out after confirmation of sale and on the pickup day for my vehicle , I found out my vehicle did not come with a spare key. My wife bought her truck off Leo last year. She left Toyota for various reasons & went to see Leo at True North. A couple weeks ago we went in to talk to Leo about my situation with my 2012 Audi. He went over it & we decided I needed to get out of it. Leo worked every possible angle he could but was having a hard time. He was not giving up tho, he said “your going to leave the Dealership happy”. He spoke to a Co-Worker Steve who was determined this could be done, get me into something newer for a better interest rate & that I’d love.
