Very poor service from beginning to end. Little or no returned calls or emails and frequent whining about items for newer models being low or out of stock. Yet they say they are a car dealership. Take your hard earned money and spend it someplace else!

I deal with Mike and he's very good at his job. Very pleasant. The rest of the staff are great to deal with and toyota has its own lending bank and the interest rate was amazing. Only 600$ interest on the loan over the loans life cycle. I couldn't find a better deal. The Toyota corolla is nice to drive. I got the base model that is loaded with features like lidar. The road noise is loud but the speakers are good to down out the sound.
My car had the timing chain failure and needed a complete engine replacement totaling $4700. The dealer is one of the only places that have the resources to do a big job like this. …

Slow service kept trying to add more fees
On my last visit almost none of the employees were wearing masks and if they did have a mask they were wearing it under their chin or hanging from their ear. I'm pretty sure its MANDATORY to wear it correctly while indoors. We are still in a pandemic, let's ALL do our part to help squash it please

We have dealt with plenty of dealerships in the past but none of them even came close to North Bay Toyota, especially our experience with Roberto. A lot of the employees in the dealership do not have their masks on either at all or on their chin instead of over the nose and mouth makes one think customers wellbeing isn't the first priority and it's sad to say it cause most employees are doing their best to follow the rules but Theres a few that obviously don't care.

Service dept. was lacking. Drove 2.5 hours to this dealership because I purchased the vehicle there and wanted to show loyalty... had my windshield replaced and they left the tape on & residue on my windshield. They cut my weather stripping up as well. The replacement was $1100+ and to me it seems sloppy and they don't care. They contracted the work out but the service was still through Toyota and they should be overseeing errors. Update: They ordered the mangled part and then booked me another appointment to have it replaced. I still have a 5hr round trip to have this remedied.
As always, my experience at North Bay Toyota was excellent! Service desks, shuttle and staff were very helpful, answered all my questions, booked my shuttle and were very friendly and pleasant! My Rav 4 was efficiently serviced and the mechanics always do an excellent job in ensuring my vehicle is operating as it should and provide a detailed report of the work that was completed. Friendly, just didn't have the right vehicle
Came in for my first service on my RAV. The staff was friendly and accomodating.
Non-pushy sales staff helped take the unpleasantries out of car buying.
Reference work order 41727, when booking my vehicle in the service rep advised me that the 64000 km inspection was required and that I needed the driveshaft inspection and lube was required. On this advice I agreed to the work. Once I paid my bill I reviewed the invoice, I believe that I was given improper service advice and double charged for work. Specifically the invoice states 1. underj# 3 15T0ZZ00 “ no fittings to lube” and torqued to spec 2. under MINSDSB. Inspect driveshaft/ drive axle bolts all 3. under MINSPS. Inspect propeller shaft all Points 2 and 3 are covered as regular service requirements, point 1 is additional work that was recommended but from what I see is a duplication of work and charges. If you are inspecting something would you not ensure that the bolts are within torque specifications.

Great experience. I was on the parking lot looking at Tundra's then a Salesman comes out. I told him I was only looking, we talked & I left with his card & a lot of new info on the Tundra's. I was impressed but not ready to give up my 2013 FX4. I went in again a few days later to see Leo. I not only traded my Ford but we started off with a 2016 Tundra TRD Off-road that I was "ok" with to my dream truck. Upgraded 20" rims & tires, spray in box liner, tri-Fold tonneau cover, remote start & the best the Grey & Black "TOYOTA grill". Leo made all of this happen & me an extremely happy girl. But not only did Leo make me happy, he got my 84 year old Mom out of her 2015 Ford Fiesta & into a gorgeous bright red 2016 Corolla that she absolutely loves. My Mom & I are so happy with Leo. Had a great purchasing experience culminating with our purchase of a 2021 Toyota Venza Limited. Service, not so thrilled. Our first service appointment was put on schedule the day we picked up the car — six months. When we showed up the service people for some unknown reason thought we should have already had a service although the car’s reminders didn’t think so. Anyway, we got the 2nd appointment work done instead. The more annoying issue was the dashcam which we wanted to get hardwired and figured Toyota would know the intricacies of their own hybrids. Well, everything was fine until the service department saw that it was not the $800 Toyota dashcam but rather the latest Thinkware Q800PRO. Keep in mind the dashcam was already installed and working, we only needed the wire run from the camera to the fusebox — about 6’. Toyota service only knows how to route Toyota supplied wire and we would be charges $125 per hour for the technicians to learn how to route Thinkware supplied wire. Nope. We can find closer service who understand the concept of service.

Originally brought my car to Cambridge Toyota to be fixed. It sat in the lot for over a week untouched while I paid out of pocket for a rental car. After an entire week they called me and said my parts had just arrived when they originally said they would have them before my car got there. They were trying to tell me that my car wasn't going to be covered under warranty for a faulty transmission. My car was under 60,000km. I then went to visit my parents in the North Bay area. I brought my car to North Bay Toyota and they had looked at my car within the next business day and assured me it was under warranty and had it done in just a few days. Very good experience with North Bay Toyota. It has been well over a month driving my car and it's smooth like it used to be. I will never go back to Cambridge Toyota as it wasn't the first bad experience I had with them. Good job North Bay!

I took my recently purchased car (Toyota Corolla 2004) there to get it safetied. 15 minutes after I left there they called me and said there is too much rust and it has holes we cannot give you the safety. Which is fine but they charged me for 70$ which is a crime! At the time I'm writing this review I'm just a student and such a selfish behavior is not acceptable and very annoying. Asking 70$ from a student who just bought a good old car, only for 5 minutes of their time! I took my car to a local garage, they look at my car for free and qoute me 200$ for body work and 100$ for safety. And gave me a time to come back a week after. That's how it works. That's a fair business. That's gentle not North Bay Toyota.
My husband and I moved to the area recently... From the employees at the service desk to the sales person, Roberto and everyone in between - we were met with genuine friendliness and kindness, knowledge and everything that led us to a great experience. We are very happy customers and will definitely return... Would highly recommend!

Our family had a very positive experience recently when shopping for a used vehicle (Toyota Highlander). I am beyond thrilled with North Bay Toyota!!!! I brought my car in for an oil change but they found there was another issue and had to leave my vehicle that I desperately needed the next day. Dale in service stayed late and came in early to work on my car and I had it back by 0830 hrs the next day! The service department is amazing, the shuttle driver was fantastic and if I lived in North Bay I would be a loyal customer forever because you just don't get service like this at other places! Really disappointing. Very rude and unprofessional. They will not honor any promises. My wife was so excited to buy a Toyota but I would rather buy any other brand than have to deal with this location. My instincts were telling me to run fast and they were right. Do not bring any lexus or toyota in for service if you didn't buy it from this location. they make it very clear that they do not want your business since you didn't buy the vehicle from there. very ignorant. please read through these reviews and you will see this is a very real occurrence.

Well, I booked my 2018 Tacoma in for service for a leaking windshield only to have the service manager call and advise my business is not wanted as I previously filed a Camvap claim last year (which was resolved by Toyota Canada) and had my 2016 4runner rims chipped and scratched when they serviced it. I did not purchase my vehicles from this dealership and have been told "I should have bought the vehicles from them". Simply put, I saved thousands by driving 3 hrs to a larger dealer. Professional is certainly not what I would call them. Petty and overly sensitive to constructive criticism would sum it up. I've involved Toyota Canada once again to help in this matter and have confidence they will find a solution. Any well run business would not offer money off an oil change for a positive review on Google. Quality and good service should be enough.
My 2016 Corolla runs like a Swiss time piece! I receive great service from North Bay Toyota and will simply trade my current Corolla in when I decide I want a new Corolla!

Really poor service i got there today. I put my Rav4 Hybrid for 1st scheduled service around 2.30, when i asked my car done at 3.55 and i got answered that my car will be next in line, i literally sit there one and half hours to wait there. When I asked for management then someone from warranty guy come and talked to me about it and apologized but not give me a proper explanation ????. Hi there, my service was fabulous, as usual I arrived and Mike was busy but passed me to another person till he was done! He did it well and I had no issue! The young man was a new hire and he said it would be a while perhaps 2 hours! I asked to be shuttered home if the wait was that long! Just then Mike asked how thing were going! I said it would be 2 hours and I would shuttle home! He went to check and came right back and said " it is ready for you now Mrs Norman! AS USUAL I was thrilled! Went in to North Bay Toyota last week after one of our family vehicles unexpectedly broke down. We had already explored a couple local dealerships and after hearing a few recommendations decided to check out Toyota (have never owned a Toyota before). Sales person was extremely arrogant and not personable at all. Very argumentative and abrupt. He asked what we were paying on our last vehicle and said that there was no way that we would even pay close to the same with Toyota and proceeded to talk down about other local dealerships (one which he said was owned by the same owner as Toyota). He was hesitant to look at numbers without even knowing our budget. Initially we were told that we would not have an opportunity to view the vehicle we were interested in and that it is unlikely to be able to with Toyota vehicles as they are all "ordered in". Eventually he was able to locate the vehicle for us to take a test drive. Features of the vehicle were not discussed and he barely stepped outside with us. Very dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism by this employee. As a result we decided to explore other options and were able to find our new family vehicle elsewhere.

Actually said "if there is no money on the table there is nothing to talk about." Unprofessional and arrogant. Bought a brand new Jetta instead of dealing with these bullies. Good luck getting parts if you break down. AC failed and they told me it would be 3-4 weeks to get a new AC compressor. Belt failed a week later while waiting and they couldn't even get an OEM. Ordered a aftermarket belt and stuck me with the $190 bill even though I paid for a full aftermarket warranty. I was told it is an issue with Toyota Canada and their parts management system and there was nothing they could do and that I should take it up with Toyota Canada. Last I checked I bought the truck (and warranty) from the dealer not Toyota Canada. The people at the dealership were nice and very easy to deal with and you could tell their level of frustration with the parts issues goes a lot deeper than the issues with my AC compressor. Seriously has me reconsidering purchasing another Toyota product.

Worst sales staff I have ever come across in my career. Suggested to go south and grab a car for 20 to 25 percent interest rate if you are not a permanent resident. He didn't even show the manners to ask to grab a seat. He sat, we stood the entire time. Great team toyota. Never coming back nor suggesting my enemies.

I was excited to purchase a car with Toyota. I had heard great things about the brand. Unfortunately, when I purchased a new/used vehicle (in Sept 2020) and I went to pick it up it was marked up pretty badly. The car was also dirty. This was a really unfortunate purchase. I was surprised that they didn't even try to rectify the situation. If they did, I would have been happy with that. Due to their inflexibility I won't be recommending them to anyone.

Dont deal with roberto, he will lie straight to your face on anything you ask about a used vehicle. Also they will pass that used vehicle on safety even though it wont actually pass one elsewhere. I had one and a half windshield wipers, and my vehicle was MISSING the brake hardware kit on both rears. The tire carrier is supposed to have three bolts. It had two, and one wasnt even attached! When i removed my spare the bolt came right out with lugnut still attached! It was only holding on by one bolt, which is also dangerous and probably illegal. Plus much more. I brought it in to them to fix the rattling sound(brakes jumping around in the caliper) and they said the e brake was set to close. Because of that one of my e brake pads are completeley shot, both rear brake pads were worn 50% on a large angle, and the rattling was still there when they said it was fixed! 80$ in gas and 5 hours drive total for absolutely nothing! Took it to a different mechanic and they laughed so hard when i told them i just bought it from north bay toyota. Needed over 1000$ of parts and labour to fix those issues, plus others i didnt mention.

I can't recommend this dealership enough. Quick responses to any questions I had, pre and post purchase. They were very accommodating to any requests I had and had some great advice. I had emailed 14 other Toyota dealerships, and choosing North Bay Toyota ended up being a no brainer, even if they were 5+ hours away.

The best prices for Toyota in Ontario. I've bought 2016 RAV4 with mileage only 48K km. You will never find such mileage (in certified car) in GTA for 2016 RAV4! And they had few cars with similar mileage (around 50K). The team is very friendly, Roberto from sales who helped me, was very professional and honest. No upsell pressure at all. It is definitely worth to drive 300K north and get the best car and best deal! Thank you!
My second time at this dealership for a service appointment. Staff were courteous and friendly; service was fast and the best part of all - they didn’t try to sell me on unrequired work or extras. I was expecting the typical service price gauging (you need new brake pads or whatever) and it never happened!! I’m super impressed and happy with the service and would recommend :)

August 2015 Brought my 2009 Corolla in for an Alternator Change, 3 hours later, like they had predicted it would take, they called me about having to change my water pump which I said yes and again as predicted the job was done on time. Shuttle brought me back to North Bay's Toyota. Paid the bill and as I walked towards my cleaned car I noticed that the hubcap on the back the driver's was missing. They ordered one and going to pick it up this afternoon at no charge. Thank you to North Bay Toyota's GM Myers.
Purchased a used Toyota Corolla from this dealer and it was not a pleasant experience! We dealt with a sales person by the name of Mike Stronach - he was absolutely painful to deal with - AVOID HIM AT ALL COST! The car we purchased had visible damage to one of the doors which we negotiated with the dealer/salesperson to have repaired. About 25 days after we took delivery of the vehicle the salesperson called to have us bring the vehicle in and have the door repaired. The repair was sub-standard so we did not accept it as it was done. It was a fight to have them attempt to repair the damage again - this time the repair made the damage much worse. When I informed the salesperson (MIKE STRONACH) of this he blamed me saying it was my fault because I wasn't satisfied with the quality of the first repair and I should have just accepted it the way it was - which was sub-standard. I told him this was unacceptable and the door would need to be repaired by a properly trained individual or completely replaced. After waiting a few days they obliged as this was a condition of the transaction. So we had to drop our car off for a 3rd time now to have what should have been repaired properly the first time. Finally the repair was done properly. Probably the most shocking and discouraging thing about this transaction with Mike Stronach and North Bay Toyota was the way the vehicle was advertised on the North Bay Toyota website. It was advertised as a certified used vehicle which included the first oil change free. Right after handing the check over to the salesperson we asked about that oil change and were told immediately that this particular vehicle didn't qualify for that offer. No explanation was given at that time but I figured who cares, it's only $50. After owning the vehicle for 3 months we received some information in the mail from Toyota about the Certified Used Vehicle Program and this information stated that we were indeed entitled to a free oil change. After addressing this with Toyota head office they said they would reach out to the dealer to determine what happened. When Toyota head office reached out to the salesperson he said that we were mistaken and he never said we weren't entitled to the free oil change as advertised, as per Toyota Canada head office. So Mike Stronach lied and was not truthful about this. I would avoid dealing with this salesperson at all cost. After all these problems, the GM or the dealer principal couldn't be bothered to reach out to me. Based on this terrible experience I won't even set foot in this dealership again....I wouldn't recommend them. Buy your Toyota anywhere else but here.
Careful they like to sell used cars and pass them as new... I bought my car there brand new of that year only to see 400klm used on it I asked the dealer he answered I guess my boss used it for a fue days... so I got a used car with 0% discount.. if the "boss" is going to use a car it should be his own not the brand new cars they are selling.. I will never go back to this place..

Best Toyota Dealer anywhere! Toyota has been my go-to brand for automobiles for over 30 years, but to be honest, my interactions with Toyota dealers has been 'mixed' at best. These guys are the best, bar none. When we found ourselves dealing with an issue far from home (we were travelling cross country from Calgary , AB), the North Bay Toyota team went WAY, WAY, WAY above and beyond to help us get back on the road and on our way. My wife had a rear tire blowout and in our distress we called CAA instead of Toyota roadside assistance. The tire was ruined and replaced by a third party tire dealer, not realizing that we had additional tire coverage. However, we were reimbursed for the tire on our next service. Definitely, five stars.

I was driving to Toronto to catch a plane for Europe and noticed one of my tires was low. I phoned Toyota and Mike was able to get the car in asap. Without Mike's kindness in assisting us the day might have been disastrous. As it was the tire was fixed promptly and expertly and we were off on our trip in plenty of time to catch our flight.
Was treated and spoken to terribly by Paul Meyers during purchase, complete unacceptable Behaviour by a sales Manager and team leader mid Jan 2017. This occurred when new concerns and damages on used purchase were caused by mechanics overnight during safety inspection and since that date I haven't had anything but issues with my vehicle. Paul's exact words at purchase day pickup , when I noticed new damages " You don't like it ? I don't got time for this, then give it back to us and get out" mind you this is after I've already signed all paperwork. I was promised winter-force winter tires which where Verbally agreed too before purchase , but at pickup was given some knock offs that I can't even find on google. Now 3 months in 5,000 km more and now I have brake issues and rotor issues within 90 days at under 50k KM and already in shop Can't say I would recommend them to anyone. Bought from then because of Toyotas so called reputation , I'd say they've failed to impress

I am extremely disappointed in my dealings with this dealership. I purchased a new 2020 Highlander from them on line. When I went to pick it up it was only washed on the outside and dirty under the hood and every where else. I had them put a tow hitch on it and the wiring for the trailer lights was left wrapped around the receiver for the hitch. Also when they installed the hitch they disconnected the tail pipe and never reconnected it and I had driven 160 km home with the tailpipe bouncing up and down under the vehicle. When I was at the dealership to pick up my new car the salesman didn't even have the time to explain the features of the new car to me or even take me for a ride. He seemed to be more interested in getting his son to hockey practice. What should have been a great experience was in fact a great disaster . Shane you dropped the ball on this one and your service department is very sloppy. I am very hesitant to have any work done on my car here so I will have to have another dealership service my vehicle. I have asked Toyota for some help to transfer to another dealership but have not heard squat from them. Customer service does NOT seem to be their Forte. I guess the old addage applies, let the buyer beware.
