Drove from out of town to see a vehicle, noticed it had a lot of physical issues (dozens of dings and scratches not shown on pictures). I tried haggling and they refused to budge. No discounts, no winter tires added, nothing. Needless to say the car didn't sell for 3 or 4 weeks afterwards and the price dropped 800 dollars when i only asked for a 300 dollar discount. If only they tried to make a deal on the spot instead. Odd business practice. Ended up buying a vehicle elsewhere.
The staff at North Bay Mazda are Awesome! They are very friendly and welcoming. My daughter had a remote start installed on her vehicle and they even washed her car after they were done. Excellent Service! We highly recommend their Sales and Service department!
Bought a 2018 Mazda 3 brand new off the lot in September 2018 through Ian. We were very impressed with how the sale went down. We never felt pressured into buying the car and it was a very easy going process through and through. I've been bringing it in for regular service appointments since and have always gotten great service! I can always call Emma or Jason in the service department about anything and they're always friendly and very helpful (no matter how stupid some of my questions may be lol). We also purchased roof racks through the dealership & had them installed - they were 100% worth the investment.

The Service Advisors at North Bay Mazda are hard-working and very friendly. This clean dealership offers that rare small-town experience where they remember your name and a receptionist (a real person!) always answers the phone. There's no compromise either because the Service Department's prices are fair and the Technicians do good work with genuine Mazda parts and vehicle knowledge. Further, customers receive a free car wash after the work is done. Although I purchased my 2017 CX-5 at a different dealership only because North Bay Mazda did not have one with a manual transmission in stock, I will first shop at North Bay Mazda next time to support my local dealership and its staff. My whole experience dealing with the North Bay Mazda employees was a positive one. My salesperson, Charlaine, (Charly) was extremely knowledgeable about the cars that I was interested in and was able to answer all of my questions. From first meeting Charly, through the test drive, through to signing the purchase agreement, to the pick up of my vehicle a few days later, everything ran smoothly. The entire staff was friendly and professional. I would have no hesitation in referring this dealership to anyone interested in buying a new or used vehicle. I am so excited about my new purchase. As you aspect its a dealership and they sell cars. Whether if you think its a good deal or not is your choice. Although the staff felt more personal than others and more invested in getting your wheels for a price that works for you.
Another case of bring your car in for minor service and the service department tried to upsell big time. When I confronted service, they continued with false accusations about maintenance that must be done and tried lying about the reasons. Lost a lot of trust here.

Never bought a vehicle here, but this is where I service it. Best car service around. Staff is excellent and they always try to make things right by you. I always think that car dealerships want to rip you off, but with Mazda I came close to trusting them :D
Purchased a used car from the dealership. Came to an agreement on the price and scheduled the pick up for a week later. When i showed up, the car was not ready for pick up as it still had the winter tires and had not been properly detailed. The car still had many scratches and stains on the seats. I opted to take a loaner vehicle and return later that day to pick up the car. They claimed that they did not have time to find my tires and that they were too busy. I received a call later that day and finally took delivery on my car. The car was still not detailed and was told i would have to bring the car back a week and a half later on Easter weekend when their "expert" would be available to detail the car. I brought the car down and was given a loaner vehicle while mine was detailed. The loaner vehicle was full of someones belongings and was in poor order and condition despite being brand new. The back seat was unusable and had garbage strewn about. I was called to pick up my car at 3:30 and when i arrived, the car was poorly detailed and left with many deep scratches. They had filled up my gas tank which they had neglected to do previously however; the interior was not touched and remained dirty. I have purchased many cars and this has been by far the worst experience i have had to date. I paid cash for a 2016 sedan and was left feeling disappointed and regret my decision to purchase this particular vehicle from North Bay Mazda

If I could give zero stars I would. I had brought my CX-3 in for an inspection (weird grindy noise from front end) as was told that I needed new calipers due to the rubber bushings on the slide pins being torn. I questioned the service person as to why I could not just replace these bushing? I was informed that it was not possible. I quick internet search told me otherwise. $12 part instead of a $500 service bill. The service department is nothing but lies and scams. I'm handy enough and have replaced my own brakes before so I took my calipers apart and there was absolutely nothing wrong with them! Scammers! I have argued with them before about suspiciously needing an alignment with every service appointment it seemed, they use the "free" alignment inspection as a ploy to rob you of your money. After expressing my displeasure it seems like my vehicle magically started keeping the wheels aligned. After the blatant caliper replacement scam I notified Mazda and its been a couple months now with no reply. Will never do business with these people again and I would recommend everyone stays far away from them.

Initially I was happy with the service at NB Mazda. Everyone was friendly and polite and I felt confident about my purchase five months ago. While driving in the last week the vehicle began to feel unstable while turning and made noises while going over bumps. I brought it in to a mechanic just to be safe and it turns out I need four parts replaced. I spoke to NB Mazda and they said there was nothing they could do to help as I had passed the 36 day warranty.
I recieved a text from Mazda HQ interested in my Journey I had posted on Autotrader.ca. I followed up immediately by going in to the dealership where I was greeted by a very friendly lady at the front desk. Right away Nick came out to set me up with Patrick. Patrick is a super nice dude who has an awesome sense for people's needs and wants. He then followed up by setting up my the financial side with Justine. Justine is a sweetheart. She did an awesome job dealing quickly with a manufacturer hang-up and I got a great deal. The shop staff are also awesome. They coated my truck and installed the rust module but when I got it back it was also spotless and smelled brand new!! I have been very pleased with the service from the front door to the garage and I definitely recommend this dealership for both new and used vehicles. I bought a Sierra this time. I will just be waiting in a few years until I see what I want in the lot and I'll jump on it. The service is thorough and generally fantastic and that far beats buying from a private seller.

Purchased my 2016 Toyota Rav4 from North Bay Mazda. Ian was very helpful and they made sure everything was in tip top shape before I drove away. They replaced my windshield due to a small crack, and even sent a missing part by mail the next week. Oh, and the price was right! recommend buying a certified used vehicle from North Bay Mazda and Ian!

My fiance and I recently bought a Mazda CX-5 new from Ian Bennett. To be completely honest, we shopped around a lot between every dealership in North Bay, comparing notes - warranty options, financing etc. Most of the time you deal with high-pressure sales tactics and annoying follow-ups but that certainly wasn't our experience at all here. Ian was not only straight forward with pro's and con's - but more specifically, he genuinely seemed to care about what our high-need items were, and wanted to make it work so we didn't sacrifice anything major. In addition, we spoke with their financing rep. who also gave similar service and pointed us in the right direction for a few key items. We're happy with the car, the service and would strongly recommend Ian and Mazda in the future.

I think your mechanics are dishonest people. They said they would do an oil change before we got our Subaru Forester. Ok so I know when you get an oil change your suppose to change the filter...my filter never got change it said may 2018 and it was put in with a wrench. The filter looked like it had not been changed in a very long time. Don't think I'd buy from you guys again. There are a few other things we were very disappointed about as well but too much time to explain. Sorry Mazda, but you lost me as a customer.

The service representatives and mechanics are dishonest and try to upsell you a lot of unnecessary service on your vehicle. During a phone call, they told me they needed to do some work on the brake calipers, which they wanted to charge me for, but they forgot that they had just replaced them less than 6 months ago!

Purchased a 2017 Honda Civic which they brought from Laurentian Chrysler in Sudbury through the pallidino network. I noticed the next day after driving it off the lot the car floor was soaking wet. So for who knows how long it went un noticed and it would freeze and thaw. They blamed Laurentian Chrysler. I purchased it for a little over $14,500 they allowed me to return it for a full refund. I then seen them re-list it for $15,449. That’s around $800 more than the original listing price. That’s the most sketchy thing I’ve seen a dealership do. I wasn’t going to write a review until I seen that. Before this vehicle I purchased a Mazda 3. I had a handful of problems including a fluid leak with this vehicle and it sat on their lot for over a month and a half with little help doing the pallidino 7 day exchange. I was being sent vehicles via email to look at that were $1000-$1500 lower than what I paid. Meanwhile it clearly states the vehicle needs to be of equal or greater value. On top of that, I waited an hour and a half to speak to the salesman only for him to ask for my email address and that was it. I even suggested before waiting to just leave my email. Their service department is probably the worst I’ve ever seen. They did not complete the multi point inspection properly. In all I probably had to go to the dealership 8 times within a month. They gave me a full refund however I’m still out what I paid for insurance and other things while I waited for a vehicle to exchange. If you want this bad review gone you can mail me $265.87 I’m out for insurance. Seems only fair since you raised the listing price of the vehicle. I would highly suggest looking elsewhere for a vehicle. I have pictures of the previous listing price of the 2017 Honda Civic and the delisting price. I also have a video of the water damage if anyone is interested. Nick the GM was good to deal with however I probably should have been dealing with him a month earlier. The rest of the dealership you are taking chances with. First photo is what it was listed for in Sudbury. Second photo is what it was listed for after I returned it because of water damage I’ll gladly take this review down once paid $265.87 of which I’m out because of this. This doesn’t include this being the worst car purchase I’ve ever made and having to go without a car for over a month and the stress in doing so. If I’m not refunded what I’m out pictures and video might be posted to the Facebook page of North Bay Mazda I have since purchased a vehicle from Northern Honda and have not had 1 issue.

What I most appreciated was that they weren't pushy. After our initial visit we went home to think about it before making a decision, and the sales representative was courteous, gave us the information we needed to help us make our decision, then let us go in peace. We came back and bought the car of course, and everything went smoothly from there. We love our new car and feel we made a great choice.

Drove from barrie to North bay to view a vehicle that I fell in love with. And let me tell you not only was the vehicle amazing, there service was even better, from the telephone call to the end of the deal. Dealt with Darren and he was very down to earth, wasn’t pushy what so ever, we talked like we knew each other for years. He wanted to get to know me and get what was right for me and my family. Very rare to find sales people like this. He’s a keeper! I also dealt with Mat/Kirby very friendly people, made the buying experience easy and stress free. Buyer beware. Even when i told the salesman i wanted no extra option i still had to pay for a 3 year secure window etching at a price of 500$. Unfortunatly i was told they do this etching to every vehicle that they get at North Bay Mazda. I think this should be a option and not be forced on the buyer unless you actually want this product. You can get an etching kit on amazon for 40$ thats quite the markup. Easy money for Mazda. Shame on me for not noticing this before i signed the contract, this would have been a deal breaker for me. Be aware.
The new North Bay Mazda dealership is getting very busy, since I bought a new CX-5 there 16 months ago. There is only one reason for getting busy: they are the best. Anyone looking for a new vehicle has to drop into Mazda on Lakeshore. I was a Honda guy; after 5 Hondas , I am totally blown away at the craftsmanship and the features of my new CX-5. From the sales staff to The service people, to the owner; this is the greatest team. Ashley and Maxine are top notch.

I bought a used 2018 Mazda 3 from Justine in May 2020. I am from out of town and her communication was deplorable, causing more issues than needed when I planned to pick it up. She promised me a paint pen as there was a small mark in the paint under the door handle. "I will mail it out right away, we just don't have any in stock" -- it took multiple emails and phone calls weeks later for her to remember to mail it to me. When I got the car home I noticed to that it had not been cleaned properly from the original owner. To the extent of there being dried, sticky residue FILLING the cup holders in the back seat console that folds down. Now, I just got the (brand new- purchased from dealer with the car) winter tires put on and the mechanic tells me that they are faulty as there is a wobble into the front right that he cannot fix completely with a balance or rotate. I also went to use my second key fob (that I have not used since purchase and it has been safely stored) and notice that it doesn't work at all and there is a huge crack in it, and dirt all inside the battery area. I would not recommend this dealership AT ALL. Justine did not take the care and consideration into this sale - it was an after thought and customer service was subpar.

The entire process from walking in and discussing my needs to driving away with my "new to me" car took about a week to complete. Great dealership, great staff and honest mechanics. It's nice to see your vehicle asits being worked on. Prices for some services are a little steep for the work I see involvedbuti maybe that's just me.
I honestly cannot recommended them at all, my entire experience with them has been nothing short of rotten. It almost feels like an elaborate prank at this point. First, they sold me a broken car. I can only imagine they cleared the EVAP code and pushed it out the door because shortly after picking it up, the check engine light/evap code came up. When going for my first fill up, I discovered that the tank could not vent so when the tank "burped" for lack of a better term, it splashed gas all up and down my body. $300+ fix. Then I went to get my summer tires switched over only to find that they lost them/can't find them/never got them from the previous owner. Eventually they find a set of tires to give me and put those on the steels but not before dragging an air hose across my hood, significantly scratching the car. After buying a set of rims to use as a summer set, I go back in the fall to have the winters put on, but instead of putting them onto the empty set of steels, they swapped them onto the summer rims. I go back the next day to get everything swapped over the right way. Then just this week, I come to simply pick up my summers, and they try to hand me just tires and send me on my way. After they finally find my rims and get them on the car with the proper tires, I find that they did absolutely nothing to protect my rims while they were in their care! They came back to me severely scuffed and chipped. I'm completely done, with north bay mazda. Find somewhere that doesn't treat their customers like a joke.

Being from out of town they were able to squeeze me in for an oil change with little notice. Was not happy to see that the tech dialled back service interval to 8000km (a dealer recommendation, not a Mazda recommendation).
I purchased a used vehicle from North Bay Mazda in January 2018. On the ad, it described the vehicle as LOADED, air conditioning, etc. I test drove the vehicle for a short period and it seemed fine. I had to be heavily convinced to purchase the warranty by way of dramatic price reduction since the integrity of the vehicle should be backed by the make and dealership, but after much deliberation, I decided it was worth it. I was told that I could bring the vehicle into any Palladino dealership for service, which was another major reason for my purchase of the warranty. After purchasing and driving the vehicle for a couple weeks during peak winter season, I noticed the heat production was severely lacking. I brought the vehicle to Palladino Chrysler in Sudbury, who diagnosed the issue and told me they needed to order parts and that they would get back to me once they were in. I'm still waiting for their call. I made due and as winter became summer I noticed the air conditioning was non-functional as well. I brought the vehicle to Palladino Honda in Sudbury since Palladino Chrysler blew me off. They diagnosed the vehicle and told me that I needed to take the vehicle to a Nissan dealership and that my universal warranty should be accepted anywhere. I made myself an appointment with Nissan Sudbury, brought my vehicle in, and showed them my warranty. They said I may have to pay for the diagnosis since they aren't Palladino. I said I was told to come here by Palladino and that my warranty was universally accepted. They said they'd try to put through a claim for all expenses. Upon picking up my vehicle, I was told I was responsible to pay a $270 diagnostic fee. I went back to Palladino Honda and told them that I was expected to pay a diagnostic fee as a result of their advisement. The Service Advisor told me that I should have had them sublet the work to Nissan through Palladino Honda. Being that I was dealing with the same Service Advisor the whole time, why didn't she sublet the work to Nissan after the initial diagnosis rather than tell me to go to Nissan myself? These issues should have been non-existent upon purchase, and these issues should be rectified regardless of whether or not I purchased the warranty. The estimate for the repairs of the climate issues alone were upward of $12,000. THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF PRIOR TO MY PURCHASE. YOU CANNOT ADVERTISE THAT A VEHICLE IS LOADED, AND SPECIFICALLY STATE SOMETHING AS MENIAL A FEATURE AS 'AIR CONDITIONING' WHEN IT DOES NOT FUNCTION. THIS SHOULD NOT EVEN BE A WARRANTY CLAIM AND I SHOULD NOT BE WITHOUT THESE FEATURES AS PALLADINO CONTINUES TO DROP THE BALL ACROSS SEVERAL LOCATIONS FOR MONTHS AT A TIME. I brought the vehicle back to Palladino Honda and told them that I'm not leaving until this issue is resolved. They diagnosed the vehicle again, but an appraiser was not available so I'll have to bring it in yet another time. I work in the auto industry and decide from which dealerships hundreds of our company vehicles will be purchased at a time, and I know service centres cringe at servicing vehicles that weren't purchased at that particular dealership. I am a member of this industry and possess many contacts onto which I hold influence. If this is not dealt with promptly, I will make my opinion widespread unless Palladino does something to change my tune very quickly. I will hire an auto fraud attorney and I will take Palladino for every penny and then some for my trouble if my vehicle is not functioning as originally advertised in the next few weeks. Awful, awful service, and this is coming from someone who is both sympathetic and empathetic to how difficult the automotive customer service industry can be – that is the SOLE reason I've been patient for the last 6 MONTHS!
