I had been searching for a car & Victor in Sales took my car & my application over the phone after plenty of research of the vehicle I wanted . Not only did he get me amazing quick financing he was also able to have a safety & processing done in one day . I signed papers at 11 am on Friday & picked up my car at 5 pm the same day . My boyfriend bought a truck from Cars Unlimited about a year ago and since then it has been nothing but problems. Victor said he would fix an issue with the car door locking and unlocking on its own which was never actually fixed. It worked for about a week and stopped working again causing us to have to go to our own mechanic to get it fixed ourselves. On top of that the handle had to be fixed, the A/C stopped working, two fuses were blown and had to be replaced, the seals on the door do not stay on causing rain water to leak in to the back seats, and just today the truck literally shut off on a highway off ramp putting lives at risk. I will be reporting this to the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council and recommend anyone else who got scammed by this dealership so do so as well. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. If you need more proof of how terrible this company and the man who runs it is, just read some reviews from others telling almost the exact same problems. Victor has clearly lied to many others as well about the condition of cars before selling them and multiple others have bought cars only to have them stop working or have tons of problems. I wish we would have read reviews before purchasing from this con artist.

From the time i arrived to check out a vehicle for sale at Cars Unlimited, Victor was great to deal with. He was kind, respectful, and never pressured the sale. Victor went out of his way to make the deal happen and even delivered the car to me. The vehicle I purchased was like brand new AAA condition! At my request, Victor even happily dropped off and picked up the vehicle at the dealership of my choice for full inspection, which the vehicle passed with flying colours. Thanks Victor! Only 1 negative part of the purchase was not to do with Victor, but the owner. Cars Unlimited CLEARLY states that "Safety Related Items" are warrantied for 30 days after purchase. The day I took delivery, a $500 LED tail light failed, which is a black and white safety issue. Amazingly, the owner tried VERY hard to weasel out of his responsibility to rectify. They did rectify the failure in the end, but ONLY because I pushed back very hard, refused to give in, and threatened mediation through UCDA. I suggest you EXPLICITLY discuss the 30 day safety warranty terms before purchase. What if the failure had been a $2000 item instead of $500??

Overall, my experience at the dealership was great. Victor was very forthcoming, confident and engaging. He was accomodating as i'd come from Toronto to see the car. However, after the car was purchased, I found some issues. Few issues he directed right to the mechanic, and others were found to not be "safety issues". The issues weren't found during the test drive, only after the car was purchased. Which was fine, but his communication efforts dropped drastically and he started to ignore my messages. I was told that he was putting in effort to look into the car's issue but it doesn't seem like he was. After messaging him for weeks, with his very few replies, nothing has happened. Which makes it seem like the dealetship puts little effort after the car is sold (as its not their problem anymore)

I called and asked about a Audi TT and I asked if I could test drive it and the owner said yeah come test drive it. when I got there he came out and showed me around the car then he started it and it sounded terrible and there were a bunch of lights on the dash then he started asking very personal questions that I did not feel comfortable answering, after he asked the questions he brought me inside and tried to get me to sign paper to finance the car and I told him it barely runs and he said that all the problems would be taken care of, But I told him I didn’t want it anymore and he still tried to get me to buy it and I was so fed up I just walked out.

Wanted to wait a few months after purchasing a vehicle from here to post a review. Firstly, I want to thank Victor for his customer service and response time. He was truly great to work with. I am enjoying my new ride and have referred several family and friends to check out this place. When I picked up my vehicle they had put all new brakes on, however a few things were missed and that is why this review is 4 out of 5 stars. One month later I had to get an oil change, would have been a quick/cheap fix to do before I picked it up. As well the coolant and other fluids were low.

My fiance and I are car shopping for a second vehicle. We know what type of car we want, not exactly what make, but how are we to know unless we test drive? Well we went here today, found a Dodge Journey that we liked and wanted to test drive. Asked about taking it for a test drive, and the "salesman" told us to figure out what we want, and then make him our last stop. Like hell, I am not about to waste someone else's time to just come back to you to get your commission, not to mention he lost a paying customer. We ended up test driving a Journey at another dealership, and purchasing from them. He made us feel like we were wasting his time, which as first time car buyers (aside from family cars) was not a good feeling. This is exactly why you shop around!!

much like the other 1 star reviews on here i feel as if i was scammed. i purchased a ford focus from them and was in a real pinch for time as i only had a rental for four days due to my car being totalled by another driver. at the point of sale they made it seem like i was making a very good purchase and that i was getting a great deal.. well it turns out after a few days of driving the vehicle it began to make an incredible amount of noise under the dash/hood when started and also when running, the car can barely shift or accelerate without it feeling like it is going to stall, the tires on it are terrible and lose traction in almost any condition, there is a collapsed engine mount causing a buzzing noise in the cabin of the car and literally everything in it shakes.. it is to the point where you can feel the vibration through your body and it even shakes the windows.. "customer experience" goes out the door the second you do with your lemon of a vehicle as when you try to contact them after the point of sale they just brush you off and ask you go to whichever dealer your car is made by.. will never be back and will absolutely never send a soul here to look at anything.

Purchased a car from them in June of 2018, a 2007 nissan sentra. They wanted to charge $5,000 but I paid $4500. It is now August of 2019 and I have spent over $10,000 in repairs. They told me nothing about any needed repairs, they took advantage of me. The car is blue book worth 2500. You will get scammed here. Do not go here, ever. They never gave proof of safety either. Biggest mistake ever. Update it's now 2020, car still has been giving consistent issues. I ran a carFax on it, turns out there was 2 prior accidents reported and an insurance claim that I was never told about when buying the car. They told me it has never been in an accident. These guys scam and lie to you. Disgusting!

This review is after 11 months of ownership. First i will say that the customer service was good when I purchased vehicle. However after closer inspection through the 11 months there are things that i noticed. First is the front bumper needed to be fixed, which it was but the quality of the job is well below average. It was a horrible paint job as the paint is peeling already. Secondly the brakes needed to be replaced before pickup and again they were but they cheaped out and probably got the worst brakes that you could purchase. I have had some issues with the vehicle but luckily i purchased the extended warranty. So before purchase make sure they dont cheap out on things that need to be fixed

Google reviews can often be misleading. Because yes there are people who will scam you out of your hard earned cash. But there isnalso people with true intentions who sell a car and to their knowledge its mechanically sound..... I bought a 2014 Jaguar XF from Victor 3 months ago. I love the car. It drives.like a dream..... He was honest with me. He kept in communication with me during the buying process and he did (in my opinion) his due diligence when it came to representing his dealership with integrity. He never pressured.me and let me take.my time deciding my options and was very accomodating with any changes i needed to make or info i asked for. No matter where you buy a car there are risks. And yes had my jaguar turned out to be a lemon i would be singing a different tune no doubt So based on CUSTOMER SERVICE alone.... I give this place a strong 5 stars. And will 100% be back. Remember.....do your homework and let the buyer beware.

This used car lot fails to tell the consumer details when purchasing a car for the sake of a sale.......after the sale is completed and this Dealer......is notified of certain potential problems the car may have......the consumer is left with a HUGE! expense to repairs....days after the car has been paid for.......CASH! Once we notified "Car Unlimted"...... they send us to the dealer which of course has NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS MATTER! ...........Really..........BullShit Sales Men and even more BULLSHIT DEALER !!! NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!

Bought a car 2 days ago from Victor (without test driving).I had no choice every dealership has to follow these guidelines during the virus pandemic. I felt comfortable since Victor assured me I was making the right choice. After the vehicle was dropped off and I drove it, it became clear to me that this was not the case. I forwarded a list of issues that were given to me by my mechanic to Victor and why I no longer wanted this car. I mentioned to Victor that most dealerships were giving buyers 3 to 5 days to exchange or refund if not happy. His said we can discuss any issues when he drops the car off to me but nothing was discussed. I took the car to my mechanic last night and forwarded a list of all the safety issues that were not addressed to Victor explain how I would like to exchange this car for another on his lot. I am sill awaiting his response and will update when I know what steps they are willing to take to resolve this matter. :)

I purchased a 2007 Mercedes ML320CDI off Cars Unlimited on 07/31/14 for $19997. I have to tell you the sales person told me all about how important customer satisfaction was and how they stand behind all of your vehicles. I know that I purchased a used car but I wanted to pass on the facts of my experience so that future customers will see some warning signs that this company is not the stand up dealership that they try to tell you before you purchase the car. 07/31/14: Purchased the vehicle and traded in my 2004 FX4 truck with 158000 kms. They gave me $6500.00 for the trade. I also purchased an extended warranty for the drive train and seals and gaskets for $1200.00 (which I would recommend if you purchase a car off of them) I tried to negotiate more on my trade in as I know the truck was worth more then that. Unfortunately they would not budge on it but they did say that if I gave them over $4000 in cash I would save money on the final price of the car by not paying taxes... this should have been my first warning sign.... so he they put on the bill of sale $15000 instead of the $20000 that I actually paid... I questioned this and was told that it doesn't really matter. I should have run out of there. So the day that I picked up the car I traded my truck in and a cashier cheque for $9125. I drove the car home and I noticed that the AC did not seem to work and there was a bad smell coming from the vents when it was on. The next day I went to work and I noticed that 3 of the doors locks did not work, so you have to manually unlock each one of them. When I go to work less 20 hours after I purchased the car I call and told them about the issues. The offer that was given to me was to purchase an additional warranty for A/C and Electronic Switches for $400.00. As no other offers were given, I agreed to pay for the warranty. I went in on 08/05/2014 to pay $400.00 in cash as requested, and I noticed my truck on their lot for $12500.00 I expressed my displeasure about having to pay for a warranty less then 24 hours of purchasing a $20000 car off them and was offered some of the money back.. which I did not want. The sales person called me a few days later telling my that the owner wanted to pay me for the $400. I explained to him that it was not about the money it was about "their customer service" and standing behind their cars. They knew about these issues before they sold me the car. I told him that they should have taken the car and got the items fixed. This was not offered and the conversation ended. (oh and no cheque was sent) note: with the warranty you have to pay for the inspection and pay a deductible so this is more out of pocket expenses for me to get these items fixed On 01/05 2015- I took the car into Mercedes as there was an engine light on. When I took it a glow plug module was defective (not the dealers fault in any way) when I got it changed they noticed that clean air line going into the turbo had been rigged up and when they went to change it they noticed that they was pre existing damage to the turbo and that is would be defective in a short time. 04/08/15- They were right the turbo blew and lucky for me I had that warranty and it only cost me $2700 instead of $5000. I want to be fair with the dealership I did take it to a mechanic to have him look over the car for rust and underneath the car, but I have purchased quite a few cars off dealers and if there is anything wrong in the first 30 days let alone 24 hours they would take care of it. I spent over $20000 on this car, it is not like I purchased a $1000 as is car. I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Cars Unlimited and I hope that with people reading this posting they will second guess purchasing a car off them if they offer you a "shady" cash deal... My suggestion is take any car you purchase off them to the manufacture of the vehicle and pay for a few hour inspection of everything. I wish I did! If anyone has any questions before they purchase from them I have all of the proof that these events did indeed happen.

Went to this crook.for my 17year old paid 2000 down on a 06 with 4600 to pay .it turns out to be 12000.bumper fell off a month after we had to it burns a halfa liter oil going to hamilton and back.seats dont work air does not work .engine light has been on sense a week after we got it. If you deal with these people you will have your money stolen.do not belive a word out of there mouth.it will be a lie.Ive gone to the police.they said they will look into it ..better business. Iam on line to see if i can get mto. To look at unsafe cars being sold to suckers from these people I will not rest untill we have justice for a 17 year old mac .student.

I recommend Victor but be aware he's a tough negotiator ;) I traded my old car in and got a new (pre-owned) from them. Victor made everything as simple as possible and provided me with a car in a perfect condition, with brand new battery and brakes (pads and rotors). If only he dropped the price a little bit more.. ;)
