Pathetic Customer Service. Pathetic!!! Doesn't even deserve 1 star I wish the review system had any 0 star or negative stars in it. They never answer a phone call properly, don't know any answers to simple questions. All they say is "We'll transfer your call to service department" and then nobody answers and even if someone does, they don't have any idea about simple questions.

Parts department know their stuff
It was my first vehicle in Canada! The worst and the most stressful experience I've ever had! They have polite staff members. But not reliable in advising you! You should not expect them to provide you with the best option you can have. Also, they don't provide you with all the details you should know! Currently, I'm bound to pay installments over my budget which is frustrating! DO research and gather information before going there for shopping. Especially if you are brand new!

I leased a brand new Lincoln MKC last year (2017), and took it for a checkup on a noise that I was hearing from one of the wheels when applying the brake. They got back to me saying that the rear brake pads and rotors need to be replaced! It was quite surprising and frustrating that I needed to replace my brakes, given that I only had 14,000 km mileage on this new vehicle. I know my driving habit and believe that my driving is so gentle to cause the pads to wear this fast. The average life of brake pads is between 30,000-50,000 km depending on the driving habit, but I was very disappointed to have them replaced after only 14,000 km!

Excellent place. Got my truck there in March 2021. Have had a few minor issues which is totally fine. Service counter was easy to deal with , friendly and fast. Always had truck in and out when expected. Even got a full interior and exterior detailing when it was down there for a service this past week. Cannot complain about the place at all. At Cabot, I have been dealing with a gentleman by the name of Gerald James Jr. I call him "the hair". lol. Gerry has one of the most dapper appearances of any professional I know. He has been my go to since 2009. I rotate my vehicles every 3 years. Myself and my wife trust him 100%. Recently my 3rd vehicle, the plow truck, a 2012 f250 was giving me grief and this man took the stress off me and got me in to a 2016 f250 and had it dressed and delivered. Top shelf service from a top shelf dealer. When I go for a service appointment, this man continues the after care by greeting me in the store front and asking if I am happy with the rigs. See if you get that relationship anywhere else. I will remain a ford guy, that's a given. I will remain at this dealer as long as this guy remains. Everyone at the dealer has my respect! Gerry I tip my hat for!

If I could give zero stars I would. The absolute worst dealership I have ever dealt with. I have a ford edge 2015, over the past two years it's been a struggle each time I bring my vehicle in for service or issues. I've had problems with the tail light being cracked and moisture getting in (said it was from force caused by me and best to talk with my insurance), purge valve needed to be replaced (not covered by warranty), the ford sync not working (took 4 years to fix and multiple times telling them it doesn't work, they fixed it last year causing the navigation and park assist to no longer work, which is still not fixed) and now I need a new drive shaft (also not covered by warranty or the maintenance package). I've been waiting two weeks for the drive shaft to come in (since Sept 16th) called several times and no one can tell me when it will be in. Called today and left two voice messages and waited on hold for 7 mins before calling back and getting no one, now it's the weekend again without our family vehicle. I'm done with this dealership and ford. Complete joke of a company.
Shopped the lot briefly and a great salesman came along, gave me top line service and earned my business, getting me into a brand new car at a great price that I definitely love! I had visited many dealerships over the past few days, sizing up who had the best service, best product, and best sales, and Cabot hands down took all 3. I can't say enough about how great the team here was, from Ben in sales to Finance, to the crew that got my car on the road. I got a great deal, and I cannot speak highly enough about how great they were on working with me to earn my business. I never felt pressured, like I had sales I didn't want pushed on me, or like I was just another dollar sign walking in the door. In fact, even when going over my warranty options and extras with finance, at no point did I feel like I was being pressured into spending more. If I passed on something, there was no high pressure sales tactics applied, just friendly, courteous service. If I had the money, I'd go back again tomorrow and buy another one!

Dissappointed is an understatement. Took my 250 in for service. Problem with heated seats and engine light .vibrations on highway driving. The called to say nothing was wrong but they could do a tire balance for 29.95. Went to pick it up.. 500 dollars later not a thing fixed lights on seats not working and vibration still there. Made me wait 45 minutes at pick up .and told me if the problem persisted id get my money back .so i paid drove home made another appt. Now it gotta go back and i will have to fight for my refund .. 30 years of buying vehicles .the worst ive encountered at a service dept.. ILL BE SWITCHING DEALERS ..POOOR POOOR SERVICE

Just bought my 2019 F -250 Lariat sport at Cabot Ford. Couldn't be happier with the vehicle and Gerald James going above and beyond to make it all happen. I was having insurance issues and couldn't leave with my new truck and he gave me his for three days so I had something to drive and get my insurance straightened out. My experience with Cabot has really caught me off guard. Myself n wife done suv shopping and went into Cabot and not a sole attempted to welcome us n offer and help in our search. 4 years later it was my turn to shop for a vehicle (truck) and was in love with f150s as loved the crew cab space ( much needed for two car seats) and towing capacity for ecoboost engine. I’ve decided to just go into Cabot agin n just see whats their opinions are in my search. That’s when I go to this lovely lady for help. Well Terrilyn Bailey, the sales lady was superb. Above n beyond. She knew exactly what I wanted and my budget and done whatever she could in helpin me achieve a budget of my comfort. She got myself a beautiful F150. She welcomed our kids n interacted with them. Also sales manager/ financial manager was awesome. Understood our situation and helped get me my truck in my hands. I have been a customer at Cabot Ford since 2008 and I can say that this dealership goes above and beyond expectations. Customer satisfaction is always their priority and will always work with you to give you the best deal possible. They simply are amazing to deal with (service, sales etc)
DO NOT GO HERE. I went in needing brakes replaced and problems with the car squeaking while I was driving. They tell me my rotors need replacing because that's the cause of squeaking or else replacing the brakes will be for nothing. Now they call me and say it can't be driven because an axel is broken WHEN I DROVE IT THERE and that was actually the cause of the squeaking. They're trying to gouge money out of a young college student and it's shameful.
Experience was good dealing with personnel at this dealership. Terri Lynn was very accomodating and efficient regarding the sale of our vehicle. However, we don’t and did not agree with the Company policy of a 750 dollar down payment before a decision was made to purchase a vehicle. Otherwise, all other dealings with sales staff were excellent.

Dropped my car off to have some recalls taken care of… The ladies at the desk were fantastic and friendly, I needed the shuttle to work and they called the driver and he came back so I didn’t have to wait. There were three other people who also needed rides… He asked where I was going I told him Mount Pearl to work. Then he proceeded to turn right on Kenmount Road, drove all the way down to Duckworth Street to drop someone off, then over to Newfoundland drive and logy Bay Road and then dropped the third person on Blackmarsh Rd to take people home who did not have to work. I was an hour and 10 minutes late for work because the driver did not coordinate the drop offs in a sensible manner. Should have dropped me in Mount Pearl and hopped on the highway to downtown and then dropped the two that did not have to be to work. Absolutely ridiculous! When I picked up my car at 5, again the ladies were great and said theyd bring my car around... 15 minutes later I was still waiting, went back in and my key was still on the counter. I asked for it and got my car out back myself. Again ridiculous and very inconvenient for the customer.
With the service I was given even on first phone call to Lincoln ford I was sure that this is where I would purchase my vehicle. There passion to help and assist me was amazing every step of the way. And to make sure I was satisfied they even followed up with me via email to ensure I was happy with my purchase. Great people and a great place. I have only good words for these people. i brought the car in so they could fix a seat belt, they charged me 135$ for a diagnostic and the parts haven't been replace. They charge 140$/hour for repair, so if my math are correct, they took around 50 minutes to diagnostic a seatbelt that was cut in 2. I can't believe i'm being charge 1hour for a diagnostic while they could use the hour to change the part instead. I'm done with Cabot Ford.

The sales process was excellent but unfortunately it took 3 appointments to get my vehicle services and recall completed. I booked the appointment for the maintenance and recall. I even filled out the form when dropping off my keys with exactly what was required. The first appointment, they did the maintenance and rotated my tires but they were supposed to take the wheels from the pan and put them on instead or rotating the wheels. Therefore, I had to book an appointment for the wheels at another shop and completed the safety recall three weeks later.

After receiving poor service from Avalon Ford. We brought our SUV to Cabot Ford in St. John’s and boy oh boy what a difference. Firstly they found the problem, turns out there was a service bulletin on the vehicle that The other Ford dealer was unable to find, go figure. Secondly the level of curtesy and customer service there is second to none. After finding the problem our service advisor called us, as it will be a bit pricey of a repair, to make sure we wanted to go ahead with it (at this point we just want the vehicle fixed). She then told us the service manager would do what he can to help out with the repairs and on top of that Ford Canada also offered to help us out. So if anyone on here is looking for that genuine Ford service I 100% recommend take your business to Cabot Ford they are outstanding.

Polite and friendly staff, purchase process was very good. Service department is great, unless something isn't going right. Unfortunately I've had a number of problems with my car going in for service. Know your warranty package and what's covered because they don't and will bill you for warranty work anyways. That's sorted out fairly easy but I've had to argue with a service member before agreeing it was actually covered. Would be glad to update this review in a more positive way, unfortunately cannot right now

Very unprofessional, I had a meeting with a sale advisor named Ryan who made my wife and I wait 26min in the lobby while he was chatting on his phone very disappointed with Cabot Ford they just lost a sale due to the the staffs lack of respect for the customers time.
They work extremely hard to gain your business!! totally satisfied with all aspects of my purchase.

Have been a Ford customer for many years and always had good experiences. We just traded our vehicle for a Ford F150 and the young man Ryan Noftall was the perfect salesperson. A true gentleman, a very good listener and I would recommend him to all of my friends and family. I can't put into words how well suited he is for this job. We re very pleased with our new vehicle. I would also like to compliment Ashley in accounts for her sweet nature, and patience while we waited on hold to contact our insurance company. Love the service, staff and Ford is very fortunate to have these two on their staff.

Worst customer service that I have ever experienced in all my 50 years of vehicle ownership. The website tells you that you can book an appointment. I did that by phone 4 days ahead and had my vehicle in before 8am on the appointed day. At 1128 am they left a voice mail which I did not get until after 4pm stating that they were going to start the work but couldn't finish it that day....5 and 1/2 hours ?? to check fluids, change the oil and filter and check the brakes....get real!!!! As I didn't get the message they did no work. They did not attempt to call me more than once ( not their policy) to check to see if I received the message. I spent over $200 to rent a vehicle for the day and they did NOTHING!! Not until I picked it up did they say that they don't make appointments and that work was done on a first -in basis. This despite the fact that they knew I was travelling and needed the work done for safety and also asked for an estimate of time for completion. I should have been suspicious when they couldn't give an educated guess. The web site lies and the attitude of the staff was " I couldn't give a s..."

The staff and service we received was number one.

I’m very disappointed with the service! Don’t go here! First, my transmission issue is not fixed, but instead, they want me to replace the brake system which turned out to be totally ok to wear after Avalon ford re-checked it. They just want your money without a solution to your problems. I have to take my car to another place to get it fixed! Second, I waited one and half hour for the shuttle, which I could get within 10 mins at other places. Another customer even waited for 3 and half hours! Unbelievable! Service sucks and pricy! Never will return! Such a waste of money! And hold your wallet when they ask you to proceed extra service! Big chances are that you don’t need that service at all!
