Got a quote for a new car from a nearby dealer and I decided to call around to compare and see if there is a better deal. I talked to Cliff who was pleasant on the phone, he said he will bring that to his manager and get back to me. I also noted they have the exact model and colour sitting I prefer in the lot, as seen on their website inventory. They ended up ghosting me and never called back. I took it as a "no, they couldn't beat the deal", or didn't care for it. I signed with another dealership.

Was in the market for a RAV4 Hybrid and called into Westminster Toyota to arrange for a viewing and test drive. I spoke with a Sales Advisor named Cliff, who had a rude attitude to say "good luck getting a test drive all models are sold out and you need to wait 6 months. No point coming for a test drive, but you can come look at the car if you want." His response to the situation was quite unprofessional and he did not offer any solutions like enquiring alternative solutions of available products. I ended up going to the Toyota dealership at the Richmond Automall where I met a very nice advisor who provided courteous service and explained the car shortage and offered alternative solutions such as a second hand RAV4 Hybrid or highlander upgrade. I ended up purchasing my vehicle with this advisor the same weekend. Toyota has a good product, but an unprofessional employee can ruin the shopping experience.

I have an interesting experience where i had pre-sale (testdrive), the actual sale, and post sale. All three in this transaction. Actually 2 for now (post sale will be in 2 weeks). I bought a Lexus RX from Westminster Toyota and was helped by Lance. I will break down the review in 2 parts, the service and the product. Service: 5 star hands down. Lance worked so hard to make this deal work. Stayed late, response to sms, emails, and made sure he addressed all my request. The experience is not like buying a car, but more like talking with an old friend. Catching up on stuff, and talking about cars as one of the topic. We did see a few Lexus RX, and we bought it here purely due to the service Lance provided for us. The car price was not the lowest, but they provided a fair trade off with other services they could provide from their facility. The sales manager is pretty cool as well! Product: Car itself is awesome. Lexus quality! However, this is a used car and nothing is perfect. Mine came with interior lights not working (dome lights, visor, trunk). The tech spent hours to make sure this is fixed. It is not an easy fix as it is not the fuse nor the bulbs. It is actually a damage wiring harness. They ordered it from Lexus and it will arrive in 2 weeks. They will install the part for me at no cost. I will update this review in 2- 3 weeks depending on the outcome. Of course, if the issue is not fixed, I will update the 5 star review. Conclusion: If you want great service and no nonsense sale experience, buy a car here! Beats the big Lexus dealers I've been looking for this car for a few months, so I have been in a few dealerships (including all the Lexus Dealership in the Lower mainland). Make a reasonable offer, and they will make sure to work with you. Be fair, make an offer based on the current market (and your own budget). They have to make a living as well. Especially in this uncertain time. *******************EDIT************************ Post Sale: As promised Lance texted me a week after we took the car home. He advised that the part to fix the interior lights came. This is 1 week earlier than anticipated. This morning I dropped my car, he prepared a loaner for me. I went home and continue going about my day as usual. At around 2pm, my car was ready. Picked up the car and now everything works. Just like a new car, drives well, only a fraction of the price of a new car. Lance kept his word, kept every promises he made during the pre-sale and did not give me any less of a service AFTER the sale was done. Very impressed. Ask for Lance folks.

In every business typically sales associates run after you to get your business. Here, you have to run after them to be able to give your money. What's worse, they ghost you for weeks and months while you are sitting with $60K cash waiting for them to respond to you. 5 months ago I made a mistake by trusting this branch and thinking that Cliff could get me an upcoming RAV4 phev. I knew that it is a popular car and that it could be hard to get in the line, I was OK to be waiting for several months or potentially a year or so. What I wasn't OK with, however, is to be completely ignored. I paid a deposit and started waiting. Cliff promised to send me details after the payment, he didn't. I followed up, he said that soon he was going to, again, he didn't. I called him, he said that that day he's not working and that he would get back to me ASAP. He didn't. I texted him, he didn't reply. I called again, he said that he'd call me in 10 mins. Guess what? Yes, he didn't. I went all the way to Queensborough to find out, he said he was busy, but he promised on everything that he would get back to me by Wednesday. No, he didn't. I gave up and asked for my money back. Even that took me two weeks to get my money back. I found myself in a hassle for no reason. I was completely OK to wait for further months IF I just knew basic things, like what's my line number? How many people are waiting in front of me, etc. Instead, it felt like someone was holding onto my money without anything is happening in terms of progress for me. On the sales associate level Cliff was quite disorganized and unreliable. I am sorry Cliff, but you wasted my time the whole summer! On the dealer level, it is still unreliable because things don't seem to happen in an order and harmony. I don't think that I will be coming back or recommending this place to my friends.

I'm very disappointed to have to write this, after finding what I thought was a great used car from this dealership. After having the car for a very short amount of time, it broke down on us. We understand things can break unexpectedly, but the service and care we were provided with from the dealership was extremely disappointing. The feeling I got was this dealership really only cares about making money, not providing quality service to their customers to make them repeat clients. Be careful about your plan to purchase at this dealership.

Had been doing research on the Toyota Tacoma for months, had been talking about it with my girlfriend for quite some time and finally she convinced me to check it out. We went in together and after looking at the truck for some time, Sam, one of the sales rep approached us and was very kind and informative. Sam got things going and we ended up taking one of the new 2020 Tacomas out for a test drive. Being in a truck from driving generations of honda coupes is a great feeling. The truck is not too big for me as I am 210, 6'0 ft but a perfect midsize truck. There were 2 2020 Tacomas TRD Sport left(cement and black) and financing was at 2.49 as they were having a red tag event. The truck was too great and with that kind of a financing rate, we ended up applying to finance, which we got approved within 20 minutes(they work fast there). Arjun, the sales manager was also helping out and gave us a great deal on the TRD rims and BFG ko2 tires. Unfortunately, I had a call from my family regarding my grandmother as she was not doing so well. We kindly, asked Arjun if they can speed up the processing as we were midway through. He did his best, we crossed the T's and dotted the I's with the extended warranty and the car had been prepped with our insurance (had to be done over the phone because their insurance guy was with another client) and the new tires within 2 hours. I am so very grateful for Sam and Arjun that they were able to speed up the process and did their absolute best because I was able to see my grandmother one more time before she passed :( but was able to show her the new ride :). I know she's riding with me everywhere I go and guiding me with every other big step in life.

I purchased a 2016 Elantra GT cash in mid-March 2021, I was given a full inspection report stating nothing was wrong with the vehicle and it was in perfect condition. On July 8th I noticed the oil light quickly flicker on and brought it to a Hyundai dealership immediately. The dealership told me there was a crack in the engine which needed to be sealed and it likely had been leaking slowly for a long time, and as I was driving the car with such little oil (unknowingly) the engine may be damaged. I paid $2000 to have the engine sealed. I attempted to contact NW Toyota numerous times and no one ever returned my calls. In September the engine started making a ticking noise, again I brought it to Hyundai and they stated the oil level was low, and as the engine was still leaking I will need a new engine. I have tried contacting NW Toyota countless times, including 5 times only yesterday. Every single time I have called I have been given an excuse that the sales managers are all busy with a client, in a meeting, or on their lunch. Not a single person has returned my calls. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP! Absolutely disgusting service and I would give 0 stars if I could.

Went in to check out a car, walked out as a family member.......... We were looking forward to buy a Toyota Corolla Hybrid, we saw an advertisement for a Prius Prime and decided to go check. We met Lucy there, she was extremely helpful while being friendly, she walked us through various options, she answered all our questions patiently. In the whole process there was an issue while dealing with another department, Lucy stepped in and took the ownership and resolved the issue right away. I had a terrible experience with this place. I leased a Toyota camey se in 2018 and at that time they game a package for vehicle services. They told me this package includes first 6 services and I paid 1100 dollars for this package. Recently I got my sixth service but I had to pay 212 dollars for it. Toyota denied me sixth service saying my contract expired. So basically I ended up paying twice for sixth service. I will never recommend this dealler to anyone.

This is my 4 Tacoma purchase, and by far the smoothest one yet. Stewart and the team at New West Toyota help me purchase and customize and amazing rig. There was a wait for delivery from the factory, and there was constant communication on the delivery ETA. Once the truck arrived, the service department customized our various add ons with a factory look. Check out thse TRD rims and BF Goodrich tires! The finance department helped me transfer my existing lease with ease. Off to Whistler next weekend to test out the 4x4 in the snow.

I bought a 2012 Jeep Patriot from Karanjeet and his team in April, and I have nothing to say but amazing things about them all! Karan was friendly and knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to answer all of my questions before I came in to see the vehicle. I live on the island, so I wanted to be reasonably certain that I’d be purchasing before visiting. He never tried to pressure me into purchasing, which I really appreciated. I had an outside inspection done on the vehicle, and before I could even call Karan to go over the results, he had already put the vehicle back in the shop to address the (very minor) issues that they had found. When I went in to purchase, everyone was SO friendly - no pushy salespeople to be found! Not only that, but a couple of days after getting the vehicle, my check engine light came on for an evap emissions error (which had presented before during the inspection), and Karan IMMEDIATELY jumped into action and found the closest BCAA to me and set up an appointment (at their cost). Given that I didn’t purchase a warranty I wasn’t sure if they’d help me, so I was extremely grateful that they did (and turns out it was just that the gas cap hadn’t been put on all the way when they filled my tank for me ????). I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Karan, and his team, and will definitely be going through them again the next time I’m on the market for a vehicle.

I would recommend that you do not leave your seat (social distancing) as they are limited. I went for a cup of coffee and my seat was taken. I honestly never thought I'd have such a bad experience at this Toyota dealership. I felt harassed and traumatized due to the hostile manner in which Arjun Bhardwaj spoke to me. He refused to lease me a RAV4 even after the deal had been negotiated and confirmed by a different manager. The lease documents were all ready and I went to pick up the car when he decided to change the terms of the lease beyond what had already been negotiated. This was highly unprofessional and disrespectful. The amount of microaggresions and belittling that I faced at this place was disappointing to say the least.

Anyway I have to interrupt them because it seems like they're going to tell a 15 minute story for no purpose. They made us go back to the dealership several times before we got the vehicle we purchased even though we had already paid for it. Instead of asking us what options we wanted, they wait until the next day to proceed to the next step, and then do this a few more times. The side mirrors on the new car were also completely scratched up so that was another trip back to the dealership. Mind you they said that they would ensure it would be taken care of and follow up with us. They never did and we had to call in several times because they were disorganized and had no idea what was going on. Overall process was pretty inefficient. We had to take it into service here and one of their service people would've hit me if I wasn't paying close attention because they were driving so fast around a corner that they couldn't see around.

We were looking to buy our first car and Garry helped us find a good deal on a used hybrid. Garry answered all of our questions and gave us plenty of time to look at it by ourselves. Everyone at the store was very helpul and the mechanic made some minor adjustments on the spot. However, when it came time to buy the car, they never asked us who is buying the car, and they only put my partner's name on the paperwork, despite me being the one on the phone with the bank and my being involved in every step of the decision. EDIT: when we got the car, the safety inspection sheet and service records showed it didn't have any issues, but on the ride home, the suspension felt soft. A third-party mechanic told us the suspension is worn out and needs a number of parts replaced. We're hoping that we can work something out to get the car in the shape it was promised to be in. We will update this review when this issue is resolved.
