An Indian Mechanic has a grand air of arrogance. He has a massive belly with bad attitude. Do not patronize this repair shop because they do not treat new customers well. Don't trust leaving your car to these idiots, especially your valuable belongings inside the car. Its no wonder their shop is always empty.

I had my rear brake pads replaced by Terry. The pricing was fair compared to their competitors. He reviewed the front pads and inspected the rotors/calipers additionally. Was refreshing that he didn't try to up-sell unnecessary work. He provided knowledgeable recommendations/insights where applicable. Overall good experience.

I got my car towed here because I needed a new battery as mine would not hold a charge at all. 2 weeks after the battery was installed by this place I went in my trunk, I noticed a rag stuffed between my battery and the wall of my car. I remember the owner telling the employee to make sure the battery does not touch the car that it could cause the battery to explode, but it does not mean that employee should be stuffing a dirty used work rag in the trunk of my car.

Today my wife, daughter and I were stuck in a pickle. We tried several auto repair shops in the area and they were all completely booked. We needed our car fixed today as our car was unsafe to drive as our brakes were making a grinding sound and we had a hard time getting it moving. We called New West Auto Car and not only did they have room they told us we could get it in right away. Just over an hour after we arrived we were all good to go and the repairs we made. We appreciate the work and we will be back for sure. Thank you.

On the way to work this morning I was walking on the sidewalk in front of this business. They hadn't taken enough care to shovel and ice in cold weather, so I slipped and fell, tearing my pants in the process. As I didn't want someone else to suffer the same fate, I let one of the workers know so they could salt the sidewalk. They responded by shouting "It's not my problem, it's your problem!" I advised since it's their business they should take care of their lot, but they did not agree and shooed me away. Not sure if you want this kind of attitude from someone with whom you would leave your vehicle for care, but if so, fill your boots.

Tried to call three seperate times to book for an inspection, but the guy who keeps answering the phone is very unprofessional. I wanted to use them because they were near my place but I've never been treated this way with any business and he honestly sounded misogynistic and couldn't be bothered. I'm happy I didn't go with them.

Do NOT trust this people. My car went there for a simple inspection and all of the sudden the roof stopped working. They demanded to charge me to fix the issue. It turned out that one of the Relays was taken out. When? How? and by Whom?????? DO NOT TRUST THEM........

I would have to give 0 stars, but google does not allow 0 stars, so 1 star new west auto care, way to go guys! arrogance in other reviews is an understatement, we booked a work vehicle in on a Saturday stressing the importance of having it done that day, and that being the only day we could bring it in. When we showed up Saturday morning two weeks after booking the appt, not only was he confused why I was there he had nothing in the way of an appt book except scribbles on a piece of paper, save the hassel this is not a proffessional or decent mechanic, no appologies, could not care less of their mistake, "my problem not there's right". I will never bring any of our fleet vehicles there again, wanted to support local business, but not this venue! Highly reccommend passing this one up!!!

Excellent service at a fair price. My poor old car needed a new exhaust pipe and battery, to begin with. They kept me updated with new estimates when some new issue was found. Only charged for one hour of labour, but I am sure it was more than that. Car is running great now and I will get at least another year out of it. Thanks so much!

I've been a long time customer since the new owners came in about 8-10 years ago and they've done great work. Very helpful, honest, and great price. I've had many poor experiences elsewhere, so New West Auto has my vote!

It was a few years ago I got burnt bad. My wife wanted to get our new/used truck inspected. I was quoted 494$ for front shocks parts, I asked it that garage pricing and he said yes, I would go to lordco and buy parts myself (walk ins get 30-50% off list price w/o acc) I come back to pick up and he says it was 494$ each side FULL LIST PRICE!! The bill came to 1498$ for two shocks, he swindled me, said he has to make money the parts b/c the 400$ labor is to pay mech 2.5 hrs and he has lots bills on top. CROOKS. I called BBB and was going to stand out front with sign but my anger was getting too much I still trying to let it go. Please save your money and stress these ppl con’d me and I got soaked and he had upper hand he fakes bad English/communication and scribbles numbers for quote. I would rather pay to tow to another shop than ask for so much as a spark plug from these fraudster rip off artists. Charged 600$ to call the auto parts store for me. I told him I will return the parts to his account, lordco was ok with refunding difference but needed his consent for return auth. He said only way to get truck back is take them out and charge another 400 labour so 800 for nothing or pay the 1500$ ***SCAM**

i had my engine fan replaces,650.00 just for the part. i checked price at nissan, 327.00 canadian tire 119.00. new west auto care jacked up the price a huge amount. this is not the place you want to go. the;ll rip you off bad. you;ve been warned.

If you go here, specifically ask for Terry to do the work, he's honest and very skilled. If it doesn't need fixing he'll let you know. Also don't cheap out on car parts like other reviewers did, ask them to put new parts in. Trust me it's worth it "down the road". :)

I paid $1,000+/- for a simple brake job. They must have left something loose because the right front brake stopped working less than a week after they worked on it. In speaking with the owner he was rude and unhelpful. I'll never go back and can't recommend anyone else does.
