Started off strong in talking to our sales person there, but it went downhill fast. The car would have been both my fiance's and I, but it was meant to be my primary vehicle, and his secondary vehicle. The trade-in was also mine so I was spearheading the conversation. Any time I asked the salesperson (Sid) a question, he would answer my fiance without ever looking or talking to me. He handled the entire conversation as if I wasn't even there. Maybe Sid needs to learn that women can make big decisions too... Oh well, good thing other sales rep understand that it's 2018 and misogyny can only equate lost sales!

I took my car into service because recently I have been hearing a squeaking noise when I drive over a speed bump coming from the back of the car. I took my car in and after a couple hours the service advisor told me it’s because of the scratches on the back bumper and it will cost approx 300 dollars to tear it apart and figure out what is wrong. I don’t understand how this sound is caused by the back bumper being scratched …. The scratch on the bumper was from a year and half ago … This doesn’t make any sense at all to me nor the other mechanics I spoke to…. Very disappointed…..

Thumbs up ... mostly up I suppose. I have a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe with 246,000 kms on it. I still want it to go further, wanting my next vehicle to be electric and the car that meets my requirements is not yet really on the market. So, time for some preventive maintenance. I needed an oil change and wanted some advice on other issues with the Santa Fe. The fellow was nice, I raised a few issues to which he responded. He said they would give it a thorough look-through, and I suspect they did. I ended up dropping over $500, transmission fluid, oil change & a few other things. The reason for 4 stars & not 5 --- a bit more money than I expected and a couple of other minor issues i.e. not sure whether they checked all the belts, which was discussed prior. The vehicle does indeed work better, and the fellow thought I would easily get over 300,000 kms. I would probably come back, though I hope that is not necessary.

We bought our car from here a little over a year ago; they gave us a date when our payments would start, they initially gave us one month before our payments started; but this was not the case, they started immediately and when we called to bring up this issue they basically lied to us and so there was nothing they could do. my husband recently called to see when he was supposed to go in to get his car serviced; apparently we were supposed to go in months ago and never received a call and our alert to know when we were supposed to go in was never set either. the agent on the phone apologized and said because that was their own fault there would be no charge. Of course, when my husband went in, they denied this and we had to pay. Unfortunately, these people are just your typical car salesmen who will lie to you to get what they want. I let the first time go because i wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but they have a pattern of lying to us and we will not be returning to this car dealership. im updating this review. ive lowered my generous 2 stars to 1 star because even though the dealership pretended to reach out to us; in the end they never solved the problem of severing the relationship. when they followed up with us, they couldnt confirm who made that promise of no charge to us for the car service, so they made the business decision to not trust us. as ive stated above, my husband and i wont be returning to lougheed hyundai; weve already switched to another hyundai dealership. so we won and they lost our business.

Sid was very friendly. He was helpful and informative while we were browsing, without being pushy. Edit: Came back for 2x services for our Tucson. We had 20% parts and labour discount as part of sale. Service said they had no record. Sales lied and said the same, even though it's on their carbon copy of the sale receipt. After convincing them to find the record they said they would add it to my account for next time. They didn't, and I had to wait hours for the sales manager to figure it out, after he talked to his colleagues in Korean in front of me. Very unprofessional. 1st service was $115. 2nd service, also just filter and oil, was $240. This dealership is worst than a used car dealership. Scammers. They're also ridiculously slow. Will never return.

My family and I have been to over 5 different dealerships to purchase different cars in the past and Lougheed Hyundai was the absolute best one! Steve Boulay was an absolute pleasure to deal with! He is very personable, honest, gives you an insiders perspective, and a great entertainer (Always made sure we were comfortable, had coffee or water, and even spoke French to my French father.) I never felt like we were being taken advantage of, he was clear and concise on what to expect in multiple aspects and always delivered what he promised. He is a genuinely good guy all around (which is hard to find these days when dealing with sales). I would put my trust in him for my next purchase for a vechicle or as a reference for friends and family as he never pressured us and when we talked to him it was with genuine friendliness and interest. All the staff and the team were very welcoming and friendly, especially Anna in finance who was clear and had an awesome personality, she went over multiple options of finances and would answer all questions in depth. There were no negatives during my experience at Lougheed Hyundai, but to seem like a realistic review the only things I can point out is the front desk lady (might have been Ashley) seemed a bit out of place as she was really not friendly at all and simple requests seemed like she was doing you a favour, no smile, no greeting, her communication with customers and other staff seem very unenthusiastic which made you want to avoid her. We also got good service from Rose in finance but at the beginning I was feeling pressured to buy the extended warranty which I already knew I didn’t want, after 2 minutes of having to almost prove why I didn’t need it she seemed a bit condescending where there were moments I wanted to just walk out her office and come back to deal with Anna instead. Also asking Rose about rates and other options felt like I was walking on eggshells as I would get a quick and condescending response as if I did not know what I was talking about. After some conversation between her and my parents it ended smoothly but I wish I continued to deal finances with Anna instead. Overall I would give this place a 10/10 mostly thanks to Steve Boulay, he really should get a raise or a promotion due to his knowledge, his professional care and the way he treats clients and customers.

UPDATE: After seeing the response I tried contacting Monica twice and never heard back. Continuing the disappointment of poor customer service. I've given this location multiple chances to show me good customer service, and quite frankly I feel super disappointed. Most recently I was in a pickle and needed an oil change fast. I thought about giving them another shot. I sat there for over an hour and my car still hadn't been moved or touched. I inquired and that is when they told me they allot 90 minutes for oil changes incase they get backed up. However, I then waited an extra 60 minutes on top of that before I got my car back. I went to tell them that it took way too long and the response from the service team member was that he was also tired and he had also been running around all day. Finally, I realized they hadn't removed the license plate decals I had asked for them to remove and this is when I finally spoke up and said that I was finished and won't be returning. Finally, they reacted and did something quickly, but all they did was say sorry. Not offer to make amends, just sat there and didn't seem to care. I won't be returning, and wanted to provide details as to why. Definitely recommend another Hyundai location.

Bought my Elantra here back in February 2015. Been paying these guys for regular car services. Everytime I've brought up there's something wrong with my sunroof since it was new. It makes a loud vibrating noise when I open it up (even with all my side windows down). They originally said it was a design flaw. (Are you kidding me?! I paid full price for a brand new car and you only disclose to me after it's a design flaw?!) Their solution was to stuff foam underneath the front bar which flew off the moment I drove it off the lot. They said there were no recalls. I was furious! Took it in again for another service last September. Brought up the sunroof was still bugging me. They FINALLY agreed to replace the part and decided to order a new one in. So a month passed by. Then another two months. Then January rolls around. And I'm thinking, how long does this part takes to ship?! I called them and the guy said "uhh...we ordered a part for you?" Unbelievable!! The worst service I've experienced. Don't go here. Don't buy here. If I can give negative stars, I would.

I called to make an appointment to test drive a Palisade with the sales guy Sid. We showed up being told the demo car was sold. That’s ok, it happens. We then asked if we could just checked out the interior. He said yes and unlocked a Palisade, after 3 min another sales guy came and told us not to touch the car because it’s sold. I was livid!!! He treated us as if we were thieves! Hated the shopping experience there.

Sales person was good. But the business office will scam you with various over-charges. Once you sign the deal, they will not attend your calls, they will avoid you and they won't help you at all. At first I thought these guys are really good but as I dealt with them, they are awful. I bought a car 3 weeks ago. They over-charged me more than $1000. When I try to contact them. First they didn't reply to my emails and finally when they picked up my call they said there is nothing we can do. I would never recommend this place. NEVER !!

Really disappointed with my experience, was extremely hopeful based on the reviews. I called Lougheed Hyundai on Tuesday to set up an appointment to have my car looked at. I originally deal with Maple Ridge Hyundai but was not happy with my experiences with their service department and decided to take my car too Lougheed Hyundai. I called on Tuesday too have my car booked with Lougheed Hyundai for Thursday morning. I explained to the service department the issue with my car and that my engine light was coming on and the car was shaking . This was the same issue that was "fixed" at Maple Ridge Hyundai previously which was covered under my warranty. The service department told me no problem they could look at it. Keep in mind I was previously told that Hyundai honors any work done under warranty and that if the issue was not fully fixed my warranty would cover it. I showed up today at 9:30 am for my appointment, after arranging my whole day as I would not have car for most of the day. The service department had no idea why I was in. They thought I was having my car serviced. I then explained to the representative that I needed to have my car looked at and I explained the issue again. Right away he started asking my mileage and where did I get my maintenance done. I explained that I no longer get my services/oil changes done at any dealership and that I follow Hyundai Canada's recommendation with maintenance and services. He gets my vin number and then tells me it is going to cost me $140 an hour to plug my car into a diagnostic machine, until they figure out the problem. I then stated that this should be covered under my warranty as this is the same issue that was fixed before. He then proceeded to tell me that my car was no longer under warranty. I stated well it should be because I was advised that my car was under warranty until 102, 000 Km. My car is 78,777 km. He then said or 5 years. I have not even owned my car for 5 years. He proceeded to tell me it was not under warranty anymore and he did not even try to work with me too come too some sort of agreement. I then just said forget about it and took my keys back. I will take my car else where. Complete waste of my time. Maybe this could have been prevented if the appropriate information was taken pre screening prior to booking me an appointment.

This is an update to an earlier review: So disappointed that this dealership especially the General manager (Patrice Croteau) and Senior Sales Executive Sid have forgotten it is about customer service. on June 2, 2020, I purchased Palisade at Lougheed Hyundai, but after a few days of having the car, I went to an automatic car cleaning service. After completing the wash, I noticed rear passenger side paint peels off. I have no idea how or why this happened-- the point is, I purchased a new car and expected a brand-new car. When I reported this concern to the salesperson (Sid), Sales Manager (Youngjin), GM (Patrice Croteau) at Lougheed Hyundai dealership, they told me a paint peeling defect is covered by the warranty that can be repainted and no compensation. I then escalated the issue to Hyundai Canada, which was equally unhelpful. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Lougheed Hyundai dealership. I have been using Toyota automobiles for 20 years until this point and wish I had not decided to purchase a Hyundai specially at Lougheed Hyundai. I am never going back there again and suggest that others demand respect when they are handing over hard-earned money.

Most arrogant unhelpful dealership I’ve dealt with in BC. Went to buy a new palisade and once they brought the vehicle over, they made our family wait over two weeks because they claimed they couldn’t get us a permit to drive it back to Alberta. Then I went to cancel the deal and get our deposit back which they did but refused to give us our almost $1400 deposit. Now vehicles sales association is involved. Salesman was a decent guy who didn’t have any control over their stupid policies. Don’t waste your time or money with these thieves. $400 out of that deposit was for parts by the way.

I first made contact with Sid over marketplace about a minivan for my family, and he was very helpful and insightful about the vehicle and gave me the safety and accident report right away. He then suggested a few other vans that might work for us and gave us the price right away after our trade in. A few days later we went to the dealership to look at a van, knowing roughly how much we'd have to pay based on the dialogue with Sid. He greated us right away and let us take the van for a long test drive (by ourselves, so no pressure from the sales guy sitting next to you to buy like we've experienced in the past) After returning to the dealership we did the trade and are very happy with our new van! Sid explained all the numbers very well and Jason helped us with financing the warranty and going over all the paperwork. The service team at Lougheed Hyundai (specifically Volkert, the service manager) deserves more than 5 stars to be honest. I got a nail in the sidewall of my tire and when I tried to call my dealership's service dept because I had purchased tire insurance from them (NOT Hyundai btw), they didn't answer my call for almost two hours. I left a message and still have not heard back from them almost 2 days later. Meanwhile, I called the tire insurance company and they told me to go to Lougheed Hyundai instead. I gave them a call and Volkert answered. He not only changed in my spare tire (free of service), he ordered my tire within MINUTES. The next day, he gave me a call and said the tire was all ready and that I could drop by any time to get it put on. Amazing amazing service team, especially Volkert. I wish I had purchased my vehicle from this dealership instead, as this is what TRUE customer service is really about. I am definitely going to let my friends know about the extremely positive experience I had here!

I just bought Palisade from Lougheed Hyundai last week. I originally wanted to buy Telluride and I even ordered one back in June. As you know, there is a long line up for this vehicle and my salesperson at Kia told me it got delayed again for another 2 months. I just couldn't wait that long so I just went with Palisade instead. Maybe because I had no expectation from Palisade, I was very impressed. The salesperson was okay, he was a little cold at times. In particular Steve Boulay went out of his way to make me feel comfortable, as I was purchasing my first car. He came with me to test drive it, explained how everything in the car worked, right down to how to move the seat and steering column. Once I had decided on the car, he went the extra mile to have it serviced to make sure everything was in perfect condition, including small things like a new battery in the remote key. As far as dealership staff both John and Bob Louie were great. They didn't push the sale they let the vehicle sell it self. We were treated very well and one month later we are still very happy with our purchase. We got the santa fe sport awd the car is fine with few design flaws. The back up cam visibility when raining is reduced greatly but the backup sensors make up for it. Also this car should have a v6 standard, it struggles going up steep inclines, so get use to the right lane.

I purchased a used 2018 Hyundai Tuscon in March right before covid became a global pandemic. The process was smooth and I enjoy the vehicle, thus the stars provided. When purchasing the vehicle I inquired with the salesman and financer what would be expected maintenance wise for this vehicle in the first year. I was assured only oil changes were required between 6000 to 8000 km, otherwise there was nothing to expect this year. After 3000 km driven I had to bring in the vehicle for an oil change, bad luck on the kms driven previously I suppose. When I get there I am told the vehicle requires a level 3 service, clean the brakes, change the filters, etc. This would all come to $400. When I asked why none of this work was done prior to being sold to me, I was advised only safety inspections are done on the vehicle, no maintenance inspections so they didn't know it would be needed at the time. I find this to be an unethical way to sell something. All of the service required is after owning the vehicle for a 2 year period at 48,000 km. This is a large bill to casually throw my way with absolutely no apology or compromise thrown my way. This work should have been done before selling or at least advised of during the purchasing process. If I sold my products the way this vehicle was sold to me, I wouldn't have any clients left. This has left a profoundly sour taste in my mouth. I will never buy a vehicle from this dealership again, nor will I get my Tuscon serviced here again. Color me disappointed.

I have never felt so hurt inside and down by the way I was treated here. I brought my tiburon in many times here since owning it. I phoned Lougheed Hyundai to schedule service last week. Monica answered this call. I requested the Airbag light that was on in my car to be checked, my ac made noise when turned on, and another small thing. The appointment was made and the day of it, I showed up and spoke with a man name Jerome/Joe at the service desk. He showed me the service sheet in which i would need to review and sign. Immediately I saw that there were only two things listed, when i said three on the phone, the third thing was check the emergency brake as it wasn't holding the car properly, he then wrote this on the sheet. I also noted another mistake, they put down that I wanted them to check the engine light, when i specifically said Airbag light on the phone. I told him this and he said okay. From this i assumed he understood what i said and acknowledged it. He didnt change the sheet though at this point of time, but i assumed he knew and would change it, so i signed the paper and left with my courtesy car. He called and listed very vaguely what needed replacement, i was half asleep but i know for sure he said air sensor, plus the other things for the other repairs. So i assumed that what was wrong with my airbag and said okay go ahead with that. I didn't know what an air sensor was so i couldn't know the difference whether if that really was part of the airbag system. I went to pick up my car when done, i asked what was the air sensor exactly and Jerome briefly explained that it was similar to maf sensor but in the engine. I was curious of what that had to do with the airbag system but didnt question it, I said okay, paid and left. I then noticed my airbag light still on. I turned around and went back. Jerome said that wasnt the thing that i asked for, and they spent time looking for any signs of engine codes and found an old stored code, which was what they wrote incorrectly to check on the initial paper i had to sign. At this point, i knew that they didn't change what i asked and didnt listen again. So they found what was wrong with something else and fixed the part. I was shocked by this because i specifically said i wanted the airbag light to be looked at. Jerome and I then kind of went back and forth in somewhat of an argument, not yelling, but also not calm either. I told him that i didn't want the engine light looked into and that it also was never on this whole time anyways. Since i bought my car it never has been on. He kept denying and saying that i told him that it was on and that i said check engine light when i first dropped off my car. This made me upset, I never said that once, I know what i said. He was not sympathetic at all and getting upset at me i could see. He said multiple times that" What do you want me/us to do". That is not how you speak to a customer. We kept discussing it but he wouldn't do anything to help or offer help other than me having to pay to take the part out if i didnt want it, and im not going to pay more for anything i didnt want. Even if they couldn't do anything about it, he could have said sorry that this happened and that unfortunately they cant do anything in a nice way. I felt horrible by how he spoke to me, and i literally was almost in tears so at that point i just left as im very sensitive. My fault is that i should have asked them to print out a new sheet before signing of the correct work or asking them to cross off. But i feel that if I have to tell them more then once, even twice like in my case, and they still cant understand, i mean, then i dont see that my fault. Jerome didn't make any effort to correct the sheet himself when i said it. Its his job to do that , why do i have to suggest how he should be doing his job? I just wanted my airbag light fixed. More importantly, I felt poorly treated.Nobody deserves be treated like this at all.

He was absolutely great.. when we went to pick up our car, the Hyundai insurance rep explained us everything in detail.. answered all our questions and the best part was that he did not sugarcoat anything and made it very easy to understand the insurance lingo. From reading all the other good reviews these guys defiantly live up to their name. Bob Louie and his manager were extremely helpful in trading in my Prius for the main car i was looking for (a used Mazda 3) at a very good price. They were more than generous on the trade-in value and made sure i got the car that would make me happy rather than pressuring me to getting something i will regret later on. Right before i picked up the new car, the tires were apparently abit worn down just a tiny bit, what do they do? Throw on a brand new spanking set of tires! I wouldn't have even noticed but the fact they went out of their way before i even asked is a class act. Car feels and looks like brand new and is very reliable. Unlike most other car dealerships i felt very comfortable here and there's no high pressure sales tactics. Bob is trustworthy and genuinely wants to do what will make their customer happy and whats best for them, rather than pushing a quick sale on you that you'll regret later on. I will defiantly be doing business with them again and recommend anyone else in the market for a new car to go here!

I had a great experience at Lougheed Hyundai. Walked in without an appointment and was helped right away. Got to test drive the vehicle and our salesman, Sid, was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was not pushy and the negotiation process was painless. I ended up buying a used Ford Escape and it was ready in two days for pick up, having been completely cleaned and inspected. Car looks and drives great, I have no complaints at all so far. My only advice is to be aware that they do not take credit card over $2,000. I called ahead to ask if I could pay for my car with MasterCard and the receptionist told me I could. When I got there they told me they only take credit up to $2,000 so I had to go and get a bank draft and come back before we could complete the paperwork. A bit of an inconvenience since I had already made arrangements with my bank for the credit card payment but overall I found Lougheed Hyundai to be very professional and helpful, especially compared to some of the smaller lots I visited during my car search. I would definitely recommend.

I'm a single mom and have been coming here since moving to the city, I did quite a few major repairs, when I went in for an oil change recently, they came back and told me I needed a new timing belt along with a few other things when I said I already did that the guy was flustered and couldn't finish talking and said he would call back. When he did they said he made a mistake and was looking at the history and then when I went there he apologized again and said he was looking at what another vehicle in the shop needed done. The whole issue felt slimy and made me feel uneasy, I also had my timing belt done which I had to go back for another issue as they didn't do it properly, along with having my breaks done which also squeal now. My new mechanic also said they never marked on the engine when the belt was changed in the first place which they should so other mechanics are aware. I will never come back here again nor recommend it. I felt like I was being taken advantage of and for the amount they quoted me on spark plugs it can be done for much cheaper with a more honest mechanic and shop.

I drove down from Kamloops to see a used car I was interested in. Neil was great about staying in touch and understood it was a drive down for me. No pushiness, great service, easy transaction. It later turned out that the wrong parts were delivered to have the car ready and it was after 6 pm, so they let me take a brand new car home to Kamloops, and Neil drove up the next day to meet me in my new-to-me used car. I just had my car serviced here for the first time. It was easy to book, straightforward service. The lady at the front desk was bomb ???? she was hilarious, easy to talk to and probably reading this. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the notification on my car was not reset so I have to go back to get them to reset it. The service dept also called me 10 min before closing so I didn't have the chance to get that fixed before leaving. Unless sales could do that.... Either way, not the end of the world just kind of annoying to have that ding each time I start my car. I will go back for my next service as I am now expecting a free oil change as promised ????

I placed a very positive comment about this place when I bought my car 2 weeks ago. Now, the car I bought had very simple issues that I asked to be fixed last week (they had changed the oil and had filled it too much so white smoke was coming out of the exhaust and the seal for the windshield is leaking and water comes in the car and drips on our feet). The car also only came with one key and I was told a second key was ordered in when I bought it. I planned a visit this week with one of the sales person to get this fixed. When i came in no one knew I was coming in, no courtesy car was ready. They ended up finding a courtesy car that had to be returned by 5pm the same day even if the work was not complete. They had not ordered the key yet. And they are not fixing the issues until the key is in so they can do everything at the same time. Basically wasted my day driving back and forth between home and the garage...

Just happened to stumble across this dealer on Wed while looking all over Metro for a Santa Fe XL, higher end model. The unit I saw, 2017 Santa Fe Ltd, had just come in and looked rough. My current 2012 Vera Cruz was dirty but this one made it look clean. Sid asked me to come back Mon for a test drive after they cleaned it up. Come Mon it was cleaned up very well. Handed me the keys for a test drive. The car was all I hoped for and more. We worked out a deal and they stepped up on upgrades and my trade to where we had a deal. When I picked it up, the detail was better than terrific. Drove it for the first time today after spending last night scanning the voluminous manual. Got more car than I expected. Give this dealership a visit and I feel confident you will be as pleased as I am.

Bought a used Jeep from them 2 months ago with a warranty. It passed Hyundai's "safety" inspection with flying colors. The car pulled to left as soon as I picked it up. In that time of owning it the check engine light came on. Took into a local Jeep dealer to me. They found that the water pump is toast, the steering rack has play and needs replacement, the differential is leaking and in pieces, the parking break is squeaking and needs service as well a eco sensor is not working. $4500 in repairs only $3500 of it is covered. When I called Patrice the manger at Hyundai I got nothing but attitude. He got defensive immediately. Said nothing can be done. And his tone was an angary one towards me right from start for not brining them the car to look at. I explained I brought it to local dealer to me cuz of the distance. Patrice is not willing to work this out, or even take the car back and put me in new one or compensate me for the outa pocket repairs. Tell me Patrice, how does a car pass a your "safety inspection" then 2 months later have all these issues??? Worst customer service I've ever gotten in my life. STAY AWAY. THEY SELL LEMONS!!!! Update, My jeep is still not ready due a busted alignment tab that now i have pay because its not covered. Hyundai did alignment and sold me the car with it being out of aligned as i have proof with the before and after alignment sheet. Total car repairs is $6,732.51. Not covered expense that I HAVE to pay for is $3,352.37 Thanks for selling a car that YOU knew had problems. I'm single income and this is going take me months upon months to pay off. On top of 5yr car loan for this LEMON!

I first emailed sales guy Sid for Hyundai Elantra to check if the car had TPMS and if not if there an option to add after market TPMS. This feature was important for me as I might relocate to USA in future and this feature is mandatory. He denied that it came with TPMS and said there is no option to add aftermarket TPMS. After that I researched about other cars namely the Ioniq and Tucson and went in to check on them. I met Sid at the dealership, before I could utter a single word, he said he does not have Elantra and it does not come with TPMS. I told him I came to check other cars but he kept repeating himself. He did that three times and on third try I said I do not want to speak to him and to please get me someone else. Sid then introduced me to Frank and started telling Frank that we don't have the car. I just told Frank to ignore Sid and waited for him to leave from the conversation. Then came in Frank, who was utmost helpful to find out and he confirmed that the Elantra model I was looking for indeed did have TPMS. Sid was giving me false information all these while. We went through all numbers and the deal was almost done. Just before they were about to swipe my card, they said the monthly payment will be 375 and not 357(which we agreed earlier). At this point, I was in no mood to negotiate further and just walked out. That guy Sid has no interest in selling cars, I literally went there with intent to purchase and this guy was trying all he can to shoo me off the dealership. Frank was nice guy although the deal did not go through, I have no problems with him. Update: Bought the same car next day at other dealer. Sid seriously knows how to lose business and shoo away customers. The worst sales person I ever dealt with.

I had a terrible experience at Lougheed Hyundai. Since they recalled some parts of Sonata, oil leaked under the car, and I found that a mechanic at Lougheed Hyundai let the cap open. Worse still, they didn't admit their mistake and responsibility. They even didn't respond at all although I requested to let me know the manager I could make a complaint to. I've never experienced such an irresponsible trade like that. What I've wanted the most was that Lougheed Hyundai admit their fault. Although Monica and I talked after I wrote this review above one month ago, the result remains the same: oil leak, car wash and oil fill-up, cleaning parking site, notice of strata bylaw infraction, waste of my time and energy, tremendous stress, and NO apology No compensation that I can accept. Monica, you suggested several things, but all those are not acceptable for me. first, I really don't want to leave my car in the hands of someone who is unprofessional and dishonest. Second, I won't take the trouble to go there to receive $15 for cleaning supplies I used. Before, you had told me that you couldn't compensate me with cash or cheque and you would buy the supplies, but you're telling me to come there to receive the money? I've totally lost the last piece of trust. I don't think anyone at Lougheed Hyundai is considering my case seriously. Now I'll give up. I think I have no way to get any compensation of money, my time and energy. Instead, I'll save my life. I just want everyone to know this situation.

Bought a used Honda for 15K. Thought buying it from a reputed dealership will come with a peace of mind and everything checked, apparently not. 1. Car failed inspection very next day as it had illegal aftermarket LED headlights. Had to pay about 90 dollars out of my pocket (including labour) to get it replaced. Did the dealership not check this? How can a simple thing like this can be missed? 2. Car seats were dirty and even oil wasn't changed, I brought this up immediately. At least they were nice to do this part, so I added 1 more star to make it a 2 star rating. 3. The passenger side air vent did not work, this was ONLY disclosed to me after the sale went through. That was dishonest and I felt being lied to. But I did not think too much because they did promise to fix it by ordering the part and told me they will call me. More than 3 weeks passed and I did not hear anything back, I called the dealership today to check in about the air vent part. Person who picked the phone had no clue about the part. After 40 minutes, whoever called me back (forgot their name) was extremely rude and condescending on the phone, it's like he was doing me a huge favor by talking to me. I asked him when was the part ordered and from where, he got really defensive and rude. If this is the kind of after sale service I get from a reputed dealership after spending so much of my hard work earned money, next time I will be sure to NOT recommend Lougheed Hyundai to anyone in my circle ever again. So disappointed and upset.

On June 2020, I purchased a Palisade 2020 at Lougheed Hyundai . The car was purchased new. I quickly discovered that this car is in fact was damaged during the manufacturing process. Or, this may have been the result of damage incurred by workers at Lougheed Hyundai, which was then covered up. After a few days of having the car, I went to an automatic car cleaning service. After completing the wash, I noticed discoloration on the car body near the wheels (near the back passenger door) because its paint peels off. What bothered me with my experience at Lougheed Hyundai is the terrible customer experience and the general manager doesn't care of the customer. He offered me to repaint that part which is included in the warranty or to replace that part of my car with a another new car!! So it might have been happened for my car before I purchased it. As a new Hyundai customer this is a very disappointed experience which I never had with different manufacture. I never go back to the Lougheed Hyundai and don't recommend them.

Got a part to fix my 2013 Tucson trunk in less than 24hrs (other dealership said it would take 5 days). Volkert managed to fit me in 45mins earlier for my 2:00 when I just showed up. They made the fix and got me out in less than 35mins. Incredibly friendly. I'm very satisfied with my visit. Considering the lack lustre service I've had at other Hyundai dealerships, Lougheed Hyundai was head and shoulders above the rest. Restored my faith in the brand. Highly recommend the service department.

Excellent service all around. I felt that they were being honest with me and ultimately felt like I received a good deal on my new 2019 Sante Fe lease. The only thing I would recommend, and the only part of the process I did not like, was that the dealership fee was not properly discussed with me and while it was in the paperwork I signed, it was glazed over in conversation about the numbers. I later called to discuss this and they acknowledged that it should have been discussed in more detail. I was in a competing offer from Mazda for the CX-5 who had agreed to waive their dealership fee all together. I was told my this location that Hyundai will not allow this, but I suspect that isn't the case as most dealerships will waive this as part of the negotiation. My overall experience however was great and the staff members who each helped me were friendly and good to talk with.

I brought my vehicle to this location for an oil change, change tires over to seasonal (already on rims) and a new air filter (was suggested at the visit). I was recommended to have the Spring Maintenance Special, which is $130 and that it would be about $170 all in. I was told the air filter would be around $80. I was not informed that Labour and materials are not added into these costs. In addition, I was charged $17 for coolant added (I would assume this should have been a top up in the package which states fluid top ups) and I was charged another $20 for premium oil additive. I was not asked if I wanted these extra charges. My bill was $316 which is quite significantly over the quote I was given. I contacted via email the service dept on April 18 after the service however have not heard back.

Bob Louie and John were great! Made the experience simple and easy with a no pressure approach. He got us exactly what we were looking for. I was slightly disappointed when I had a concern with my new car arriving with 100 kilometres on it. I asked to speak to the gm who never contacted me. As well- we shook on a deal and when it came time to signing I was told I signed on something different and we would meet half way for the "confusion" Felt like a bait and switch to me. Overall I am happy with the car, just a slight bad taste from my experience with management.

I wish we could only put 0 star. We had the worst after sale experience. We bought a used car and realized they did not do the oil change properly (they had put 1 liter extra?!?!). We went back to get that fixed and also get a leak fixed. We had to go back 3 times... First they said to bring the car, but ended up not having time. Then we had to go back to change the courtesy vehicle because (again) they did not have time to fix the car. When they finally told us it was fixed, we went to get the car but turned out they did not fix the oil issu!!! We ended up at KIA to get our problem fixed. (Big thanks to KIA West Coquitlam who took great care of us!) And on top of that, we live in Vancouver so we had to drive many times to Coquitlam. They told us they would fill our tank and they did not. Oh and they knew we had a 4 week old baby so we kind of did not have time to deal with this... NOT A CHANCE I would recommend this garage...

Very disappointing experience with Lougheed Hyundai. We took our car in for routine service 6 weeks ago and inquired about the brakes as we noticed vibration when applied. Service department said they were inspected and in good condition. When we brought the car in for maintenance today we were told the brakes needed replacement immediately. When asked why they said it was fine 6 weeks ago they stated that there was no record of the brakes being inspected, leaving our family at risk. Terrible customer service, and will not be returning for future maintenance. Edit: Despite the original negative experience, the follow up we received from Monica was exceptional. She addressed our original concern, was courteous and expedient in providing a solution, far surpassing our expectation. Thank you Monica for the great customer follow up.

My initial experiences when purchasing a Sante Fe was positive, they were attentive and not too pushy. Unfortunately the safety inspection was not completed correctly and I had to return the vehicle two weeks later for a considerable repair. I noticed a fault during the test drive and was told it would be repaired, this unfortunately was not the case. The Sales department were unwilling to acknowledge my frustration as it was considerable inconvenience for me having to visit their dealership twice after purchasing the car. To date I have yet to receive any explanation, apology or offer of compensation considering what I had to go through. The latest response I received was that because they had to repair the car they are unwilling to do anything for me to make up for the time/fuel spent bringing the car back to them so that they could correct their mistake. This after sales service is not what I expected from a registered Hyundai dealership and I considerate it completely unacceptable given the lack of care or consideration that they have offered following their mistakes.

Unfortunately, they do not call back. The last time I brought my car in for service, they forgot to call me to tell me that the appointment time had changed and I had missed it and would have to rebook. Brought in for service and to check a) shifter knob rattle b) rattle coming from back c) High rev at idle d) asked for a detail. The lady at the desk was nice enough but the only thing accomplished was the regular maintenance. Shifter still rattles (its actually way worse), back still rattles, still almost launches me when I shift into gear because of high revs and they kinda just smeared all the dirt around for the detail. Had to leave it there for another 3 days for them not to fix anything. This is also the third dealership that can't fix this car. Whats going to happen if anything else goes wrong "shrug, I dunno guess you might just die in a firey car crash one day whatever". Thanks for being as good or worse than canadian tire.

I would definitely recommend this dealership if you're in the market to buy a vehicle. I dealt with Sid, Alfred and Jason during the process of buying a 2021 Hyundai Tucson in January 2021. The number one thing I liked about this dealership is there was no sales pressure. We were able to walk around the showroom without being hounded, but the second we needed something Sid was there to assist us. He even had crayons available for my young son to play with while we dealt with paperwork. The trade in value I received for my vehicle was fair. Upsells were offered to us but we weren't met with any resistance when we turned them down. The finance team were very friendly and efficient. The only thing keeping me from giving this dealership a 5 star rating is the service department. I had to bring my vehicle in for a software update shortly after taking it home. I was told multiple times that the appointment would take 1 hour before I booked it and again when I dropped my vehicle off on appointment day. Instead of taking 1 hours it took 2 hours. No one called me to give me a heads up when they realized it would take longer than expected, the service staff were unapologetic leading me to believe that this ins't an uncommon occurrence for them. It's fine if the appointment will take 2 hours, just tell the customer upfront that this will be the case so they don't miss other appointments they've scheduled during the day. I also didn't like that my settings had been changed when my vehicle was returned to me (dash thermometer was now in Fahrenheit instead of Celsius etc.). I found the service department to be generally unprofessional. Luckily I only have to take my vehicle to this service department for its first oil change/check up at 6000km to keep the warranty in place. After that I will most definitely be taking it to my own mechanic.

I love my new 2022 Tucson I upgraded from my 2014 Santa Fe and I couldn’t be happier. However, I would recommend looking at reviews before purchasing! My sales person Andrew was able to sell me the car but it was everyone else in the Hyundai department that closed to deal. Andrew had poor customer service, and not much knowledge. He is not a decision maker and had other people help me understand the functions of the car, and confirm all his decisions! After reading other reviews I see that there are great sales people to choose from! Happy shopping hope you are able to have a 10/10 experience when purchasing such a fantastic car!

What a horrible experience. I have never had such a bad experience with a dealership. I purchased a Santa Fe 7-seater car, got the financing approved, paid $2,000 deposit, had delivered them a $10,000 bank draft (they don't take personal cheques, so I went to my bank and had one prepared for this at my expense), got insurance arranged, put the plate on, got into the car, and saw that THEY GAVE ME THE WRONG CAR - a 6-seater Santa Fe. I immediately went back inside and the salesperson acknowledged the mistake, and asked me to take the 6-Seater (suggesting that he will throw in a floor mat for a third row from his own money). If I wanted a 6-seater, then I would have BOUGHT a 6-seater, not a 7-seater. The salesman goes to chat with the Manager to "fix" the problem, and then comes over and says that the contract does not specify 7-seater (the salesman knows what car I asked for the entire time we talked about the purchase and even the price in the contract is the price of a 7-seater), and that I have to take the 6-seater because the financing and insurance has gone through. When I refused, they tried to give me a demo 7-seater car, instead of a new one. After that, they tried to convince me to take a different color car. In the end, they couldn't find the car that they assured me was in their inventory less than 24 hrs ago. The manager even told me that I bought the 6-seater car. I have wasted my whole day (and the day before), negotiating a deal, signing a loan agreement, etc., ON A CAR THAT DOES NOT EXIST. I have spent the whole morning to get the bank draft (they refused to reimburse the bank draft fee). Once they realized that they could not talk me into buying a 6-seater or a demo car, they started to go about their day, not giving a care in the world, completely ignoring me, while I am sitting there aghast at what's happened. I have never been treated so poorly, been disrespected, and been lied to, TRYING TO SPEND MY MONEY TO BUY A $40K CAR! Anyone can make a mistake, but don't make up a story and lie. UNBELIEVABLE. BE WARNED.

I don’t usually write Google reviews, but this one was well-deserved – Thank you Peter Cho and Lougheed Hyundai. Peter reached out to me on a Wednesday and invited me to come down for a test drive. I told him I was still in the researching stage and haven’t committed to a specific make/model yet. He understood and gave me some great advice on what to look out for when comparing EVs, and said I could contact him any time whenever I am ready. Come Saturday afternoon, I gave him a call to book a test drive. When he picked up, he addressed me by my name. Even though this was a subtle detail, I was really impressed that he remembered my name and our conversation from 3 days ago. I went in to see him at 2pm and he had the vehicle all cleaned/ready for me to test drive. Afterwards, we sat down and he patiently answered my questions about the vehicle’s features. He displayed great knowledge in Hyundai’s product offering and the car industry as a whole. Next, we went over the pricing and fees breakdown. He was very transparent and did not try to tack on any bogus fees. In the process, I also met with Youngjin Won (Sales Manager) and he too was friendly and made sure I understood exactly what each of these fees mean. Just from these two points of contact, I could tell this dealership is run the right way from top-down. Honestly, I went in expecting to go through the endless Sales Consultant-Sales Manager negotiation loop, but the numbers presented were actually very fair and reasonable (unlike some of the other dealerships I went to). If anyone is reading this, I hope the review was helpful. If you’re looking to purchase a Hyundai, go with Peter. Sid texted me a lot to come down and try out a vehicle- my schedule isn't a 9-5, so it isn't always easy to get down for a visit. I agreed to come down when i finished work one day. I got there, I couldn't find him, and wasn't approached by any salespeople. I walked a full circle of the lot 3+ times. Went inside and checked out everything in the show room, and finally got talking to a young (very pleasant and very new) salesman. We took one vehicle out for a test drive, and decided to come back and take the new Accent out for a test drive. Never got to try it! There was one in the other side of the lot, or one in the show room. At this point Sid has texted me asking if I was close... I informed him I had already taken the Veloster out on a test drive, so it was fairly obvious I had been there a while. They chose to take the show room model Accent out for me. But after 4 sets of jumpers (with generator and another vehicle), I told them I had to get home, and walked out. It was a bit of a circus. I will not be returning. Sid was aware I was interested in trying an Accent, and so they should have had one at least FUNCTIONING for me to be able to take out.

They charged $55 for single break light, and when I complain they said the labour cost $40 only and the part costs 9.99 (I called bumper to bumper and asked for price check they said the bulb costs 21€). For oil change they charge around $70 dollars including labour and it takes around 2 hours. For break light it took 15 minutes, If you do the math you’ll see there is dishonesty at this place. In addition every time I called in for service to book an appointment they put me on hold for long time.

The service department are liars and cheats, they do not diagnose many problems before just throwing parts at the car in hopes of that being the problem (this practice never has resolved one problem on my car). They continually recommend many unnecessary services saying that it may fix the problem instead of doing the normal investigative work. The only time they provided good quick and accurate service is when they plugged the car into the diagnostic computer and it in turn told them what was wrong. I have now switched to another hyundai service center in hopes of them having more competent mechanics and service advisor's employed.

Guri was also very good in providing us with the correct information about our insurance options. He made us choose our preferred plate number for our car and was very quick to get things done. Actually, they were all very quick and efficient with their paperworks. We could see that they were very organized in processing our car purchase that day. While we were dealing with the financial department, or the insurance department, Sid and one of the guys were already busy getting our car ready for us to take it home. They already took it to the gas station, took out the plastic wraps inside the car, set-up our maintenance alert on the car's dashboard monitor, put up our license plate, etc. By the time we were done with Guri, the car was all set (with a full tank of gas)! I must say...that was such an amazing teamwork! Then their manager came up to congratulate us on our new car and we all felt well taken care of by their whole team. They even promised to give us some free car accessories (which they ordered that day) such as all weather floor liners, cargo tray, etc. and hopefully, they will all arrive within this week so we could go visit them again. They all made our experience in buying our very first family car here in Canada a fun and memorable one. Worst customer service ever. I bought a new 2017 Santa Fe With 46000km and all my tires are bald. To be fair I put on my winter tires in October till March of to May depends on snow where I live. So really only 30,000km or less. Talked to General Manager Patrica Croteau told him about this and said he would call me back. Guess what he blew me off and had Sam Li service Manager called me . Went round and round with him. Even parts said these tires went bad. So why not cover them. I only asked for them to pay 50% of new tires since these tires are rated at 60,000km. I even took to other tire shops and was told these tires are bad. Lougheed did all my service and tire rotation every 10,000km or less. Told me not the dealership problem wow. Please beware and go buy or service somewhere else. Also I like the generic response. They tell me to call , they have all my info, and I did call Patrica and not available. No call back to deal with the problem. Look around and spend your money else where very bad customer service. Not even the General Manager can call you back Patrica or the owner. BEWARE. Worst customer service ever.

Sid was my sales rep who put in a good deal of effort over the course of two days, in conjunction with his managers and general manager to come to an agreement that worked for all of us. The dealership is clean and easy to get a test drive their nice cars but my overall impression was not very positive. 1.Sales executive has no idea at what point potential buyer should speak to the manager. 2. Well the manager has no interest in you unless you provide a "commitment", uhm. How it could be provided before final prices? Also, speaking to you he paid more attention to his smartphone showing close to zero interest in your presence. Maybe if Hyindai sells too many cars so they don't care of potential, not committed customers?

Went in for a test drive and left with a Hyundai Kona EV. I'm very happy with my new car and have enjoyed all the great features, especially AC. My sales person Frank DeMichele was very helpful and walked me through all the features. The Kona EV is the best EV for it's price range. I got $14000 off the price through government rebates. $8000 immediately off in incentives plus $6000 scrap-it rebate for scrapping my 20 year old Corolla. 72 month 0% financing was also a big draw. At current levels of inflation, 0% financing is like another $2000-$3000 off!

My experience with James have been very positive, from pre and to post sales of my vehicle. He is my go to guy now. Thanks James! Bad experience in one of my warranty claim on a 2019 Veloster N. Technician said I can send pics. He did not even inspect my vehicle. No communication to me. Claim that Technician said - Looking at them on the photos provided, and also in person, I respectfully believe that the peeling is due to external contact. This answer has been given to the guest, but to no avail. He still insists that replacement ought to happen. This was entirely a lie and the clear coat flaking is getting worst. Sorry but there was no communication or even respect. I will not ever go back here for service.

As soon as I walked in, there are many signs that says face masks must stay on. However, I was greeted by a salesman named Sid, who had his mask off. Throughout our interaction, he would intermittently put his mask on and off. Especially during our discussion, he kept taking his mask off to talk which made me extremely uncomfortable. I got a letter from the mother hyundai company saying there is a risk that your (brand new Tocson) might explode the engine because of a factory defect and then I went to the dealer they told do not you worry, it is only about a wire that has to be replaced!! And then I received a message from the company saying I have an appointment at 10 am, I went there and then they surprised me that my appointment is next week. I proved the message I recived from them, they said (yeah we are sorry it is a mistake) I feel terribly sorry about the money I spend there. So unproffissional company.
