He was there helping us the whole time answering all our questions and explained whatever question we had. his service was phenomenal. He got us the color we wanted even if it wasnt in thier lot. Also where do you find a sales person calling you on his day off to congratulate you. Or Team member asking you if you need help transfering your stuff from one vehicle into the new one. Kudos to him and his team.
I can't even believe I am posting positive things about a car dealership but this was truly the best experience I've had choosing and buying a car. I was given the information I needed, got help where I wanted, wasn't pressed into anything I didn't want and was able to make the decision best for myself and my family. I LOVE my 2016 Soul and keep coming back for maintenance because I like the service.

Just got off nursing school and I needed a car to bring me to point A to B to start my career rollin' but my credit score wasn't that good so not really expecting to grab one but Andy Lo did a great job assisting me and my husband throughout the process. Also, the finance team ( SHANE & ROBIN) did a lot of help too, trying to accommodate my financial capabilities.They have a great team to assists you with your needs. This is our second car purchase with KIA WEST, we've done servicing of our first KIA(Sorento) here and their service is above excellent. The staff are very friendly and accommodating not to mention their great option of free coffee and popcorn in their lounge lolz. We bought 2 amazing cars from here and got them financed instantly while other places declined us. Ethan the sales guy is very professional and help me out what thing need to get done since i bought a used car from them. Even-though theres a difficulties from time to time but he handle it with patient and professionally. Big thanks to the general manager DaNE one of the easiest and coolest manager to talk with. Paid $5,186 for a car, went to reverse the sale, they ssid they can only give me 1500 back. If you are a low income parent. Stay well away. I thought they wete good, but the customer service is horrible. Only ONE nice lady. Id give zero stars. Response.. you guys scammed me. You didn't fix my vehicle, and there was damage from the car being on the lot. Why would I want to do business with a dirty dealership??
From the moment I met Raghav Sing he was an absolute joy to deal with. He sat us down and just asked us (my wife and I) questions. Very professional. He asked us WHY we wanted a car, what our plans were, what we liked most about cars we've had in the past, why Kia, why, why, why. SUCH A GREAT salesperson! Once Raghav got into our world he was able to create a high trust relationship within a few minutes. It was a pleasure to do business with him. We didn't feel like a number or like we were in a "sales machine" at all. He even came in on his day off to see us when we were taking delivery of the car! I highly recommend connecting with Raghav (RV). It will make your car buying experience a pleasure instead of stressful! It's nice to have someone on your side when you are buying a car! Have been dealing with kia now for just about 2 years and all I can say is thanks to Jason for helping me find the cars I wanted! Jordan for making the price and everything work out and robin for making sure the deal was perfect And getting us in our cars as well as all of the team at the dealer for making it feel like a big family as I often go with my son and everyone makes sure he has balloons toy cars or what ever they can find to help us district him to make our experience that much easier !!! Sorry for just 1 star but you deserve this. I asked 2016 Rio with quote and sales person said "yes. we have 2016 model. please visit our dealership." The price was OK. So, I prepare all the documents and visit this dealer ship for purchasing the vehicle. But, the sales person show me 2017 model and told they don't have 2016 model except demo(!!!!!). I asked what about the mileage. I was willing to buy test drive vehicle with reasonable mileage. However, They took over an hour for figuring out the mileage of 2016 Rio demo car(??? why it took so long??). Finally they said "it is 16000km"(!!!) and they tried to sell this "16000km" running car as new one. Yes, you guys gave me a little discount but come on.. for me, 16000km is USED car. Please, If you don't have, don't tell me "yes we have". It was not only waste of my time but also your time!!! FYI Kia West, I bought new 2016 Rio from other dealer today.
I bought my car there because I really liked the car. Very disappointed with the sales team they pushed me and were quite unfriendly. I had a problem to my sunroof and I went back for the service: their are so slow that I was able to have my sunroof fixed at another Kia dealer still waiting for their call to schedule an appointment. I've seen some good people there and I'm sorry for them but the management is very poor.
I had the best experience at Kia West Recently! I just purchased a Kia Forte 5 turbo car and I love it!! Eidan, Joel, Andy, and Jenny made me feel welcome and took the time to help me find the right car that would suit my driving needs. Came in to swap into winter tires. Due to a car trade on they no longer fit. My service advisor Eiden Joss went above and beyond for me. Its December my funds are pretty budgeted out so I couldn't afford new tires. Eiden Joss found a solution for me as promptly as he could without it breaking my bank. I honestly can't say enough how calm, collected and overall a pleasure he was to interact with. This place is lucky to have someone as him. Keep up the good work!

Recently I bought a Sorento from Kia West. I found the salespeople very professional and did not make me feel pressured. When I went to do the financing I was very pleased with Tony the Business Manager. Every detail was professionally dealt with and it all went smoothly. So I have finished my second new vehicle purchase in as many years from Kia West. My first brand new car purchase in my life was from Kia West. I left feeling dissatisfied about the deal overall. I am however glad that I did not give up on Kia West. I took my now beloved Kia Forte in for recall work, and while I was there I did decide to look at the stock they then had available as the Forte was not able to do what I needed it to do space wise. So I checked out a 2018 sportage AWD. Jen a wonderful sales associate approached me and listened to my story about my past experience with Kia West and through her all the management team heard of my experience as well (thanks Jen). However I am not a happy camper with this dealership. I was able to get all my oil changes included with my purchase however the very first time I set up an appointment the arrangements made were not honored by Kia staff. Needless to say I've been paying for my oil changes as I will not give this dealership 1 more second of my time or return business. I would rather pay for my oil changes then be hostage to Kia west's sloppy practices.
I went in to chat surrounding a few questions I had about my Kia. Was forgotten about by customer service. On top of that counted at least half a dozen employees without masks or masks pulled below their chins.
I came into Kia West a couple months ago looking for a used car. I left the dealership 2 months later with no car. Here is my experience: Gun was my salesman and he was accommodating and friendly throughout the entire experience. Initially wee found a car that suited my needs but there were transmission problems and I had to return the car. Kia West would not give me my money back at this point and claimed that I had to go through with a car exchange. Fair enough. They did provide me with a rental car for about a month and a half but the experience during this time can be described as anything but pleasant. I was called into see the sales department about twice a week to solve the problem and was left to wait for 2-3 hours at a time while they were doing business with other customers (mind you, after an appointment had been made in advance) and shown cars which were not anywhere near close to meeting my needs. The main problem I had with Kia West was trust. I was shown a car by the salesman that apparently had no previous damages, but the finance manager told me that there were $9000 in damages. This is when I knew doing business with this company was not going to work. After much wasted time, energy and inappropriate altercations on my part, I finally got my money back. However, they are still holding a $100 deposit which they took from me and are ignoring my emails which I have written to the company. I went to Pacific Honda on the North Shore and got a car, hassle free, in 1 day a week after my experience with Kia West. I rarely write reviews but I feel as though every potential customer deserves to know the unprofessional and dishonest manner which I was subject to here at Kia West. Their code of conduct is extremely unsatisfactory and I personally do not recommend coming here at all.
Excellent!! Thanks Kelly and Steve, you were both awesome! My Van had a clunk in the steering/suspension. Kia quoted me the repairs and did the work. However, the clunk was still there. They apologized and gave me a loaner car. Then they proceeded, at NO CHARGE to me, to replace everything that could possible make the clunk. They never once asked for more money and in the end my Van feels brand new. You could not ask for better service than this, especially for a difficult repair like mine!
Very unethical and fraudulent tactics were used by Brad at Kia West’s finance department. We drove away with a brand new Kia Niro EV on Sept 26th, financed under my name and my partner’s name. We were very surprised that my partner was approved for financing because he became a Permanent Resident just three weeks before, so he has ZERO Canadian credit history. We asked Brad how it’s possible that my partner is approved for a loan. Brad’s response, “I’m just that good at my job”. The next day Brad calls and informs us that my partner was denied financing because he didn’t have proper Canadian ID. He is still waiting for his PR card so we decided to put the financing under my name only. In the comfort of my home I was able to look closely at the new contract and I was very surprised to see that there was false information about my employment and income. It said my gross monthly income is $6500! I believe that at the dealership we signed the same document without reading it. We were not given a copy of this form. I understand it’s common to lie on loan applications, but in our case we were completely unaware that Brad put false information. By signing this form we were committing fraud. I refused to sign the new contract and asked for him to find a legal option to finance. I wasn’t going to write this review however, a Level 2 charger was included in the purchase of the electric car. It is now November 9th and we still HAVE NOT received the Level 2 charger! Also, we live on Vancouver Island and negotiated the price by phone and text messages. When we went to the dealership and sat down with Brad he told us someone made an error on the price. Whoever did the calculations forgot to add luxury tax and we would have to pay more for the car?!?! You can imagine how furious we were. He wasted half an hour of our time trying to get a couple more thousands of dollars out of us. Of course we refused to pay more than the price we negotiated, but I’m sure this tactic has worked on others. When we was trying to sell us a 5 year extended warranty, I asked if we can buy it later. He said yes but it would cost more. He lied. We bought the extended warranty for $3240…and cancelled it a few days later after we did research about the warranty and price. There are many Kia dealerships in the Lower Mainland. Please avoid Kia West in Coquitlam. *******Update***** We have been contacted by Kia West and they have sent us our charger and they have found us legal financing.
Bought my Toyota Camry here and this is one of the best dealerships I have come across. Their staff are 100% professional. Mr.Aden, the sales associate and his manager were very helpful and helped a great deal. Would recommend this to everyone I know who is planning to buy a vehicle.

All thanks to Raghav and his team. They didn't force me into sales or anything, they just made the deal and price soooooo tempting that no one could dare to refuse such a great deal.. they put cx's needs before money I THINK! AND THAT'S THE DEALERSHIP you should go to if u wanna buy your car. With my personal experience, they don't try to rip you off throwing extra stuff and charges in there, they respect your decision and listen to your needs and based on they, they offer you something that might meet ur expectations. Highly recommended. I'm probably going there again soon to buy my 2nd car for my sister.

When we bought our brand new van from Kia West in Coquitlam we were offered free oil changes for life. But now it seems that every time we call for our oil change we have to call days in advance to get an appointment. When we do come for an appointment how can an oil change take 2 hours? At Mr Lube you drive in, drive out with no appointment. Kia needs to keep 1 service bay available at all times for oil changes and simple maintenance requests. Unacceptable service. Amendment - since this post we have received a lot of love and attention from KIA. The service manager did a great in person follow-up during our next visit. He seemed genuinely concerned about our customer service experience. The service was done in a very timely manner. Thanks guys for taking feedback seriously and exceeding expectations during our next interaction!

My Sales person, Matt was very personable and helpful. All in all the experience was great. I would go back to them for another vehicle. I feel i got a better deal on the 21 Niro EV, than the sister car - Hyundai Kona. In the end the Niro EV was a better fit for me.

They are awesome! Got almost instant email replies for my emails. Very efficient, get everything done quickly. Super happy with the deal as they pay me well for the trade in. Got a great rate for finance as current KIA owners get 1% off. Got my Telluride SX Limited on May 9th and it has been amazing. Especially the head up display, super easy to see my current speed. It also displays the speed limit (showing playground/school zone) During navigation, it will also show which way to turn, distance to intersection. IMOP it works better for me than my wife's VW Atlas digital cockpit since the Telluride's HUD image appears to be further, beyond the windshield, at a higher position. (Less work for my eyes) Also, at night, the digital cockpit is kind of bright for dark roads. A big thanks to the team at KIA West

Silver my salesman was so funny and energetic and knowledgeable he showed me all the safety features first wich is very important to me! He was able to answer all my question! Noah the sales manager was super polite and attentive! The finance department was when I had the most laughs!! Shayne was able to help find out if we could make my dream car a reality! Overall super happy with my experience and in love with my 2021 Kia seltos and would highly recommend Kia west to anyone looking for a new vehicle!!

Well I don’t recommend here at all , if you want to get confused and feel bad try your chance! I had the worst experience for dealing with them. In the morning I called them and talked with a sales person and he said you can come and I will give you the offer you are asking. I went there, There were no welcome person and we stand in front of the door waiting for someone to come and talk! Then we said the model and ask for test drive and price and…. I wanted to test drive two car and I asked by phone and the sale manager said sure we have plenty of cars come! But they provided one car and the second car only manual was available that for sure was not something that I was searching for and the test drive is not the same! It was first bad impression The second was when we started to talk about the price and negotiate it, then guess what The sale man was just hearing me and now he said I do not have any offer for you!? What you accept my offer in the morning and you said you can give me! Then he said let me check with manager , and he came back and said if you have the offer from somewhere else go and do your shopping there!!!! Oh man so why you didn’t say that in the morning! Why you couldn’t tell me on the phone The last try was when I asked him what he can offer me And he just came back and said an extended vip package or $xxx ! Also I want to mention that you cannot trust their prices on their website for example their price on the website is $21k then when you go by person they are asking $25k! And if you finance 0% it will go up to $27k! I will not recommend here I prefer to pay somewhere that explain exactly the price and be honest if I negotiate on the phone they stick to their words! Sorry but I am not impressed with customer service and I wouldn’t recommend here!
I sent my mom in to trade in her 10 year old Kia Soul. My thoughts were that they probably wouldn't give her a good enough deal to get the new Kia. Well I was wrong her salesman Andrew was so great a looking after her and ended up getting her into the 2021 Kia Soul. From start to finish with a couple chats over speaker we were well informed and felt good about going ahead with the deal. This is her second Kia Soul and I am sure not the last Kia. My forte koup is the first new car I have purchased. While the staff was friendly and helpful during my initial purchase, as soon as the deal was done the customer service I have received since has been utterly terrible. It has been a year since I purchased my car and despite NUMEROUS emails, phone calls, and dealership visits I have been unable to obtain the secondary key. Dusty has been extremely rude and aloof, completely unhelpful, and is always full of excuses with no results. For something as small as a secondary key which is owed to me in the first place, Kia West Coquitlam has lost me as a customer. My car will be taken to a different dealership for services and I most certainly will never do business with this dealership again nor recommend it. With a good dealership they understand that the relationship begins after the customer drives off the lot and this is something Kia West has failed at.

This is the third time that I am dealing at Kia West, and I am delighted. Noah and Ron were amazing and tried to meet my tight budget. Robin at the finance office was accommodating and did his best to make the numbers work. I couldn’t believe that they went above and beyond to fulfill all of my requests. When you enter a car dealership, you usually expect a talkative salesman trying to persuade you into buying a vehicle, and their hand is always closed blah blah. Well, I never had this feeling at Kia West. There was a Kia dealership near my home, but I was always disappointed and drove 30 km to close the deal at Kia west.
This dealer practices all the stereotypical predatory sales tactics that car dealerships are famous for. It's bad to the point of caricature. Here is a play-by-play of our attempt to buy a used Honda Fit there. -- the "sticker price" for a 2015 Honda Fit EX with 60,000km was $24,999. It turns out that's pretty much the max you can pay for a brand new 2017 Honda Fit EX with all the options. -- they repeatedly asked if we were trading in my truck, despite me being very clear about *not* wanting to do that -- they insisted multiple times we test drive the car before they were willing to give us a more realistic price. I insisted we not do that, but it took a lot of back and forth before they agreed. -- they tried to show us other cars even though we were very clear that we're only interested in the Honda Fit. -- in order to get an actual price, we had to go inside, sit down, and fill out a form with our personal information and SIGN A DOCUMENT reading "I am willing to buy this car right now if the price is right." Obviously there's nothing binding about that, but it's a bullying tactic used by sleazy dealerships to try to intimidate you into the purchase. They also took my driver's license even though we weren't going for a test drive. -- when going to get the price, the salesman wrote down "features" that are standard on all Honda Fit EXs of this year (the car we're shopping for) -- "big touch screen, Lane Watch, backup camera" as though those were unique bonus features that made the car cost extra. You literally cannot buy a Honda Fit without a backup cam at this point. In fact, backup cams have become an industry standard and I think there are very few cars from any manufacturer that come without them. -- they came back with a price still $2000 higher than comparable Fits at competing dealerships (including prices publicly listed online) -- when we tried to leave, they forced us back inside because they STILL HAD MY LICENSE. -- the "manager" then told us he'd call the "owner" to see if he'd be willing to sell it for closer to what we thought was reasonable, but insisted that the price they'd given us was already "less than they'd paid." Car dealerships -- and, particularly, sleazy, bullying sales tactics -- are outdated. I'd encourage everyone to avoid dealerships that refuse to give a reasonable price over the phone and I regret giving Kia West a try. If you do go there, do not allow them to intimidate you and only make a purchase that makes sense for you at a reasonable price.
Very nice experience at Kia west. Raghavdeep Singh should be your go to person for any car deal. He helped me find a perfect ride for my budget and needs with a great trade in value for my current ride. Really thankful to him for being crystal clear on all steps and giving me the best deal available in the marketplace. Overall it was a great experience and i hope they keep on doing the good work. I'm looking for a used car online and saw West Kia has one which is exactly I want. But no price, no mileage. I'll feel good if you guys post either one. But hey, I'm not interested anymore coz there's no point I spend 30 min on the way to take a look, and I feel you're hiding something as you don't post any basic info on any of your vehicle. I'm sure that I'm not the only one feel like this. You hiding the price and the mileage, which means you may hiding the possible issues on the car. I'd rather to spend more money to get a car with clear info.

UPDATE due an unexpected delay (Carnival shipped from Korea with out rear window tinting) we finally received our first LUV vehicle. It was worth the wait. Great ride with awesome features. We bought a new Kia Sorento and absolutely love it! Our sales associate Jeff was excellent. He was very patient and courteous with us and he was very knowledgeable about the product. Did not have a good experience. Inaccurate online pictures, moldy interior, incorrect Carfax, false information about the vehicle. Pictures were inaccurate. Actual car had cloth seats instead of the pictures leather ones. It's been a month since I saw the vehicle and the pictures still haven't been updated online! The car had mold everywhere: seatbelts, seats, in the trunk. Not really forgivable given I gave them a couple days notice informing them that I was going to come and see the vehicle. I put an offer in and they then told me that the Carfax provided online was incorrect. Turns out the vehicle was not accident free like the online provided carfax said it was. $5000 damage and the salesperson said it was because the sensors had to be replaced and that they were expensive. I did my research on the vehicle and I know that it doesn't have sensors. Not a good experience. Ended up purchasing a vehicle elsewhere.

Johnny is the G.O.A.T! Appreciate it for the great service. updated: It was supposed to be a 5 star. However it is a 2 star now. Why? I took the car in over a week ago for fuel pump and some other issues. 2 days later the service told me the pump was replaced. I took the car home thinking the issues were fixed by replacing the pump. Few days later the issue came back. Long story short, brought the car back in today. Found out the fuel pump was never replaced, the parts is still here and was never put in. Why? I surrendered my car for 2 days, with no loaner car provided to me, and kept telling them to take their time, and all I got in return is this? I think the people here are very nice, the salesman, the service reps. However I am really disappointed this time.
Huge Kia dealership with a massive service department. I did not buy my Kia from Kia West however I had it serviced here. They charge the exact same rates as the other dealership I normally go to. But do to COVID they are not washing cars after the service so they reducing the PDI by $100 and the service fee by $15 so you get it washed elsewhere. JUST JOKING...NO reductions in fees and you get your car back dirtier then when you dropped it off. In my case (white car) a huge grease smug on the driver side backseat door. Realistically I may go back since I was able to get in quickly but it will not be my first chose. FYI the other dealership is still cleaning during COVID, which is totally insane since everyone knows you can not get COVID from dirty cars. Also service customer service is great and car selection is impressive.

Good upfront service as reps are eager to get the sale. Follow-up and expectation management is lackluster. Sent multiple messages regarding some outstanding IOUs and never heard back. -Car was a demo car, 2nd key was missing. -Brochure listed luggage net as available with the EX model, rep told me that I could pick it up when I came in next, I was informed that it was an add-on accessory from the other reps I spoke to when I came in.

Terrible service, whenever we bought the vehicle they promised to take it to mechanic change and fix all the problems, once we signed the papers and bought the car we were told to come in next day. So we did, and to our surprise we were greeted with a "sorry we have no courtesy cars available as well as our mechanic is busy right now" we kept calling back every day for 2 weeks with the same answer every day. Complete disgusting people, lied and manipulated my single mother just so she buys the Van. Once I had a look at the car as a recreational mechanic I found so many issues with that vehicle. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE DO NOT BUY CARS HERE. COMPLETE SCAM. all of their positive 5 star reviews are from customers they offer you a discount if you write a good review.
Beware a Korean dealer name is Jin Lee. Before selling a new car, he will tell you he can offer all of maximum discount benefits and promotion; but once you pay deposit and sign up contract, no longer it work. he just provides only basic company's discount program and doesn't guarantee any additional discount (He does not authorize to access any additional discount) Before signing up contract, make sure talk with KIA Finance manager what discount benefit you could get from this dealer shop. Don't lose your advantage.
I went in to view some cars at Kia West. I explained my budget to Raghav and he was able to figure out best deals for me. Raghav managed to get me a used Kia Soul within my budget and I love it. I am thankful to the team of Kia west and especially Raghav for taking care of everything and getting the car ready the same day. I was in and out within few hours. Will be coming here again to buy another car in few months ! :)
I left my Optima to get my driving wheel fixed and i honestly have never received such a quick, easy, and reliable service from Ray at Kia. I was updated about any new status of my service and got my car 1 day later with it feeling brand new. I’m very pleased with the way my car feels and drives now. 100% would recommend, the staff there is very welcoming and always happy to help.

Good customer service; courteous sales staff. But I'm not impressed with the Service Dept - I made appointment for oil change at 13:00. I arrived at 12:45 and checked in at the Service counter. My vehicle was not ready until 14:40!! They washed my car but without drying it. The entire car was soaky wet especially all windows!
STAY AWAY from this dealership. These guys are PROFESSIONAL THIEVES AND LIARS. They are trained to take money out of your pocket. They will try to achieve that goal by all means and they will not listen you as a client, as your satisfaction is not what they are interested in. They are pushing you to sign the contract without giving you all the info, even if you request for it. Five months ago I bought a Kia Sorento 2011 in this dealership on financing (72 months, 5.24% rate, 228$ bi-weekly). Unfortunately, during that purchase I failed to realize who I’m dealing with. They lied that car has one year factory warranty left, until I signed the contract, so I had to pay 2,100$ more for additional 2 years protection plan. They lied that they will fix the cracks that were all over the windshield, so I had to replace windshield from my own pocket. However, I decided to write this review because of my most recent experience that could be describe as worst experience I had in my life with any business. Last week, salesman Jacob called me to offer me great deal available for VIP clients only in the next three days. He told me that I can get the same Sorento model which is 2014-2015, without paying anything in addition. I would continue to pay 228$ for remaining 67 months and I could also get up to the 4000$ cash-back. He explained that they will provide for me 0% financing and make some other arrangements to make this deal, if I come during this special event. Next day I came for arranged meeting, and I explained the deal that Jacob offered me to another salesman which confirmed that they can make it. I spent four hours between salesman, his sales manager Patrick, and financial manager and at the end they offered me to sign the contract based on which I would have to pay 320$ for 84 months which is in total around 58,000$ instead of current 28,000$ that I have to pay. I was in shock and wanted to leave immediately since it was obvious that they wanted to trick me, and don’t have the deal they called me for. Patrick tried to convince me that it’s amazing deal they offered me, but I was consistent that I didn’t want to replace car 5 months after purchase and spent another 30,000$ if Jacob didn’t promise that deal. I insisted that I would not pay more than I’m paying right now and that is 228$ for 67 months. However, Patrick insisted that he can make that deal and asked me to leave my car there so he can try to sell it and get best possible price, and I can drive their car in the meantime. I didn’t realize that was strategy as he was hoping after driving their car for couple of days, it would be easier to convince me to accept their terms. Few days later I called a salesmen and he told me that it was approved to have a 0% rate and I will pay exactly what I’m paying now, 228$ for 67 months. When I came to the dealership Patrick confirmed that I got the deal he promised and I just need to sign up the contract. After 10 minutes with another financial manager, I realized that the contract they want me to sign is almost identical as previous one. Three different guys were trying to convince me that they offer me an amazing deal, that there is no difference if I’m paying 270$ for 96 months or 228$ for 67 months, etc. At the very end, their top sales manager came to the office and he finally admitted that they are not able to make such a deal, and said it was a mistake. However, I can accept that one person made mistake once, but they were all repeating the same story over and over again for the whole week. After much wasted time, energy and frustration, I finally left their dealership. I never wrote negative review for anybody, but I was so frustrated by unprofessional, dishonest and disrespectful staff that I decided to write this review in order to warn other potential customers which kind of people they will deal with here. I will definitely never go there again, and I wish I have never come to this dealership.

They have been very open to providing me options for resolving issues, even to the point of potential return to an older model; which is extensive paper work to my understanding.

Found a car online, contacted the dealership and was really impressed with the service I received via online. I was really interested in this one specific vehicle they had but I lived out of town and was already purchasing a classic car in the Lower Mainland and could not find someone to drive the second vehicle back to my house as I only wanted to make one trip. They told me they had a tow truck and would deliver the vehicle I was purchasing from them to my house for me. I was AMAZED at the customer service they gave me through the whole process.
Sketchy behaviour from service department. The staff regularly ask customers if they would like x or y service to be performed on their vehicle that per the manufacturer's recommendations, doesn't need to be done for a few more years. Trusting customers that don't know any better when it comes to vehicle maintenance will then end up paying for services that never needed to be done at the appointment. Shameful of these people to take advantage of people's trust like that.

Service here is always amazing. They are honest and let me know if i need to get something taken care of immediately or it can wait. I've had my forte for 7yrs and i've never had a problem. Keeping up with the maintenance that is suggested is key with any car but the service crew really go beyond. People that work there in sales are also very helpful. Myself, my mother, my boss have all purchased our KIA's there and I wouldn't go anywhere else.

By the time we were there, the car we were interested in had already been sold! Bill showed us another comparable car, but after checking it out and test driving it, we had some concerns. Bill listened to our concerns about the first test drive and in minutes, lined us up with a beautiful car that fit our needs and budget perfectly! The sales and service staff at the dealership are just excellent. Joe answered all my questions in a concise way with no BS and the whole sales process was friendly and laid back with no pressure. Dusty was very helpful and went above and beyond in getting a minor post sales issue fixed. Tony was very good at explaining the purchasing and warranty options and Ken in service was very easy to deal with and made my first service trip a pleasure. All in all a very friendly and professional team that were a joy to work with.
Wanted a better commuter vehicle for me and my girlfriend that was good on gas. Came in to KIA West and was greeted by Brad as we went in. He was open, friendly, funny, awesome and very helpful in getting what we needed. We did have some issues with finding financing for the newest model that we were first given. Then they worked hard at finding a vehicle that worked for us (one of the newer used models we saw in their inventory that we were first drawn to online that brought us in). Venu in financing helped up get our monthly payments that worked for us, as well as the sales team manager Corey helped our awesome sales rep Brad get us exactly what we needed. All round amazing experience and awesome people. Really happy and amazed with the quality of service from everyone we dealt with here. Highly recommend!

As a robotics engineer, It is rather difficult to find a salesman who can discuss vehicles to such a high technical level with truly meaningful insight. That's why Jonas, a salesman at Kia West, was not only able to keep up, but exceed my expectations, in terms of technical knowledge and understanding of different vehicle options I was interested in while also making the experience stress free and exhilarating. It was a pleasant experience I had with Jason Mcburney his salesman skills are out of this world, his is friendly and showed seriousness at his job through his follow up to ensure I bought my car from his dealership. I had such an amazing experience purchasing my “new” Kia Niro at Kia West. It started when I reached out through CarGurus and Jason from Kia West replied with info on the cars I was inquiring about. I’d made an appointment to take a test drive last Friday night at 7pm. When I got there I was greeted by the most friendly and inviting staff. When walking in, it was literally the busiest dealership I’ve EVER seen. There were so many people! I sat down with Raghav who asked me a few questions and had the car brought to the door. No wasting time, so simple. He walked me through the features of the car, what I was getting into. I took it out for a spin and truly fell in love. When I got back we started talking numbers and figuring out what that would look like, including financing. After some laughs and sushi, I was sold, lol. Venu in financing was so delightful to work with. She took every ounce of stress I was feeling and threw it out the door. She walked me through the process with comfort and ease. We didn’t leave until 10pm!! Next day the car was detailed, fuelled and ready for pick up. I came down with my family, who was also welcomed with open arms. Their insurance staff was super quick, I got dealership service records and carfax without question. I truly felt like they went sideways. Not once did I ever feel like I was being taken advantage of. This morning Raghav even called me to follow up with my purchase to make sure I was still happy. Asked how my drive home was. If I could give no stars I would. Too make a long story short. Bought a 2016 Soul EV brand new from dealership. There have been multiple issues with vehicle from not charging properly if at all. The last time it had to be taken into shop (and stayed there for more than a month) it would lose power when trying to accelerate. This was a huge safety issue as my wife did not even want to use the car as you can imagine trying to make a left turn and the car stalls, t-bone waiting to happen! Im am going to estimate that this brand new vehicle that we purchased with the extended warranty and service plan has been in their shop all together in time for close to 2 months if not more, if you add up all the times we have had to bring it in. Dont even get me started with the brakes as every time it goes in for service from when we first got the car, we explain to them that the brakes make a grinding noise when in reverse. We get the same answer that this is normal. (Really for a brand new car!) Kinda strange as a friend of ours has the exact same year and make, a 2016 Soul EV, and his does not do this. Bought an EV to save money for gas but when they give you a loaner and you have to pay for fuel, it kinda defeats the purpose? Thanks KIa West for selling my wife and our 12, 8, and 4 year old children a lemon that no one feels safe in. Never again will I buy from this dealership or a Kia. Believe me stay away! *Update as of January 31st, again charging issues sometimes charges sometimes does so Annoying! Update: February 4th. i have called Andrew who is not in today. As for your reply that there were several attempts I see on my phone that a call came from Kia West on January 30th no message on my voice mail. Then one email. So not sure if this counts as several attempts. In your response you still have not addressed the facts of yes we are given a loner albeit gas, and the fact from day one we have advised you of brake noise when reversing and you guys say is normal. All the other new cars that I have purchased never had this issue but in your eyes a new car can doing this is normal?
Had a great experience with purchasing a used vehicle at Kia West. My experience was with Danny and his team and they were excellent in their customer service. My purchase was not without hiccups (not ones that would or could occur for anyone else- so not worth mentioning) but they received my feedback and took complete charge of addressing and fixing the issues above and beyond what most would do, which leaves me confident that others will not face the same challenges. . I would definitely purchase a vehicle from there again.
Amazing experience and service. They were great on giving my rides to and back the dealership, getting a great deal, and making the car I wanted to have all the features I wanted. UPDATE: I am editing this review as an unfortunate situation happened. I still stand by the greatness of the sales team and the manager that assisted my car purchase. HOWEVER, my car came with defect (which is okay as mistakes happen and it was just aesthetic) and today when I brought to fix it and returned to pick up I was informed that more damaged had been done to the interior of my car and it would take at least 1 and half months to fix it. Even though I do appreciate the staff being up-front with the damage instead of hiding it, it is very frustrating that this happened by clear lack of care when handling the car. This gets me concerned as now I wonder what guarantees I have that more damage to my car will be cause when fixing it the new part. I am highlight frustrated and worried with the current situation and future repair. I have just reduced one star as I still appreciate the sales team and the up-front communication, but the service department got me concerned.

Out of all the cars I’ve owned and all the dealerships I’ve had to deal with, this service department is the most organized and efficient. The software updates and recall/repair/replace notifications are always posted to my account as I book whatever service.
I bought the 2012 Sorento two months ago. Less than two months ago, a coolant burst informed him of a $5,000 cost to repair.And Kia asked me to buy a new car. He said he would buy my car at a ridiculous price and I have to pay taxes again if I buy a new car.Kia is a big company.I trusted the company by its name.But they gave me a really crazy tip. Kia company is very bad. I heard that there were many repairs due to the coolant rupture. But this is the first time for me. They told me to pay $2500 to get repaired and I can npt believe this. I' m going to sue the dealer for introducing me this useless car and Kia. Kia made a mockery of its customers.I would advise against buying a Kia car.
High pressure sales, but that is there job! In the end I think I got a good deal! (Revised 2 July 2019) Upped my review from 3 to 5 as they repaired some damage to the vehicle even after taking it off the lot. We noticed some bumper damage when we got home, and took it back the next day to show them. They scheduled the car in for repairs at no cost to us. Really good customer service.

TLDR: Here is a summary of why 5 stars, excellent and professsional service team led by Andrew (will get to why that is important) and great sales team under Nova.I definitely recommed them for new cars and service. Now to unpack, not a month ago I bought a certified preowned Kia Rio at a big car dealer on Barnett Highway (between Falcon dirve and Lansdowne Dr). But even during test driving driving it I felt something wrong from the noise coming everytime I backed up. I am not a car mechanic so I told the sale person that except for the noise I like the car and trusted the sales person when he reaffirmed that its fully inspected and road safe. He said its proably rust on disk brake and if it does not stop come by in a couple of weeks. After 3 weeks and with persistant noise. Everytime I wanted to get the car to the dealer I bought, they just said drop the keys in and one of our technician will have a look. Never provided a clear time frame on when it will be looked at and when I can pickup. So I brought the car to Kia West for service check to get a second opinion, and they found that the rear brakes have seized and the car is not safe to drive as well the tire has completed worn out. I walked in to the shop and the mechanic showed the defect so that I can understand the severity of it. Andrew who oversaw it referred me to Nova. The team as a whole reassured me and said that this worst situation can be turned to best. In less that 48 hours they were able to find me a new 2021 Kia Rio Forte5 in my budget and just tonight I got it delivered. Overall they saved me from terrible situatiuon and have made me a long term customer. I definitely recommed them for new cars and service. Everytime I head to this place it's a headache. We purchased a brand new forte coupe. The trunk wasn't closing and it was a big deal. We ended up switching over the car to another exact car. Later on we take our replacement model in for trunk issues. This time its leaking water inside the trunk. Kia replaced the bulb seal and still leaked. The poor car had to be brought back again. This time it was the latch. At the same time we noticed the rear bumper had scratches. This was caused by the trunk work at Kia. So they repainted the bumper but didnt paint the trunk. So we still have paint issues. Kia wanted to charge us for an oil change as well the tire change over. We looked at our car that was done. Sand and dust was over the car. We wiped the back bumper and it looks good. The trunk still had scratches. Where is Kia's quality control?
Awesome service. Kia west has a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our salesman Brian was very friendly, kind and well informed. Got a great deal on our Kia Soul EV limited, great rates, and we left with our new car feeling confident and well informed. I highly recommend going with Kia west. They are accommodating and friendly.
I went in to Kia West and saw Aaron. My appointment was for servicing and some recall things. He was so friendly and took such good care of me while I was there. When I went in to pick up my car he was not there, but he waived my servicing charges. I will go back for sure and will highly recommend Kia West to anyone.
Pictures wouldn't reflect the condition of the car. Taking deposits to be able to have just a look at a car isn't customer friendly. Why not being able to promote a vehicle by reserving it for a specific time slot (a word is a word) instead of asking money upfront from a potential client? If you cannot entice interest in a car through media display and how you talk to and approach a client but only by pushing the deposit bondage you are simply not a good dealership and should start more training sessions for your sales people. Other dealerships do it differently and deliver a super nice experience from the initial contact to finalizing the sale.
My 2010 Forte needed servicing so I booked the time with Joe, one of the service advisors. JOE WAS FREAKIN AWESOME. I could not have had any better person looking after me. He was honest about the work and the cost and as accurate as possible about the time needed. He made every effort to accomodate my needs while my car was being serviced, so much so that I can only say it was a very pleasant experience and no inconvenience whatsoever. Definitely would like to recommend this place to people. Our sales man Noah is very knowledgeable and listened to our demanding and budget, didn't push me to make any decisions. Finally the General manager Dane and financial manager Venu helped us work on the right price and model to fit our budget. I'm not sure I would recommend this dealership. There were multiple issues with my new car that took many trips back to resolve albeit they were willing to do what it takes to resolve the issues. Also, despite them seemingly giving me a good deal at time of purchase, I found out that their website provided a better price. Unfortunately, I found out after the purchase. Lesson learned. If you still want to buy from them, go prepared.
Went to buy Kia Forte with my trade in. The sales manager and agent quoted me different price and finance manager quoted me something else. The difference was $8k. I went back to sales manager to confirm what I understood is correct and there is no misunderstanding. He explained me the same thing as before and finance manager had to make them understand the deal. Worst experience ever. I ended up buying Kia forte from Applewood Surrey.
My car is a 2016 Kia Rio with 91000 kms. Kia approved a total engine swap because the original was failing. The dealership kept the vehicle for a few days longer, which fine since I wanted the work done right. The day after I brought the vehicle back home, the check engine light comes back on and the car shook when it was started in the mornings. This is after doing all the extra services they recommended, which I spent 600 dollars to do I booked another appointment and after an hour, they come back with, the technician that can help you doesn't work today. Well in that case why did you book me the appointment and made spend more time than necessary. I come back another time, this time the service counter advised that I need to spend another 150 dollars and 2 hours of my time to get the injectors serviced. I did that as well and now I'm praying that the engine light doesn't come back on again. On another note, I told multiple sales reps, I wasn't interested in an upgrade. But I would get multiple texts and calls about the subject during work hours. I gave it two stars since I met a sales rep who had decency. Overall, I got ripped off when I originally bought this car and got ripped off some more as the warranty was expiring. So do yourself a favor and aviod kias.

I worked with Raghav and Tyler to purchase a vehicle and they were both great. Initially we had some communication issues, but they both tried their best to address the issues and eventually I managed to buy what I needed just in time before my trip. Raghav knew the car very well and spent quite a bit of time with me to make sure everything is working out. I gave a 4 star rating instead of 5, mainly due to the communication issues that caused unnecessary stress for everyone. It all worked at the end, so I'm happy and I do recommend this dealership :-)

Buying a used car is challenging Thinking to buy from Craigslist spending days on searching and dealing with rude owners could be a bad idea I went to Kia West to see a used car and I bought a used car with a great experience Everything was there. People very helpful An huge inventory with used and new cars Do you have a budget or a particular preference?? They will find the right car for you They won’t force you to do finance or to trade your car. Super easy going I could not find a car on Craigslist in month of researching with the price I bought it from Kia west. Ps ask for Andrew !!

I've had a few experiences with dealerships in the past and I can't say they were very pleasant. However these guys worked hard to find me the quality used vehicle i had in mind and worked even harder to be within my budget and adjust the numbers to beat the competition and that included private sellers and whole sellers when i looked at the comparison. I was by far not the easiest customer i have to admit and they treated more than generously when helping me out so for my next car, I don't feel the need to look else where if they keep doing what they're doing. Shout out to Andy and Pawel there. Ask for them and they won't do u wrong.
Went for the usual thing you do at a car dealership, wanted to buy a car. Lucky for me there was the model I wanted on the lot, not always possible these days. Had a good experience with initial contact through the web manager, all the way through to the finance office and insurance. My salesman, Jonas, was young and eager but listened to my questions and handled the transaction well. Overall, the dealership has a definite old-school sales feel, but that doesn’t bother me. The disclosure during the Finance process was good, but not excellent. If I wasn’t keeping track as we went along, it could have been a bit confusing at the end. My situation was a bit unique, so I still give them a full 5 stars and am very happy with the process and even more so, the car!

I have purchased a 2017 Forte(car is awesome) and I will buy more from them. When I go in for any reason, I go as a friend, I know some of the staff and management- they are hard workers, but they are in a tough industry and sometimes mistakes happen, there is pressure to sell and hard to make money sometimes. I have to admit I was a hard sell, but these guys have earned my respect and my business. It's an honest review Great job, guys????
I could not depend on them to get back to me in the service department on the status of my car. I got a constant run around, got told my car would be ready for a same day pick up and it wasn't, than I was told it would be delivered to me the following day. Never got a call or anything, I ended up calling to find out everything was closed and that everyone from that department had gone home. Very frustrating. Very upsetting, especially considering my insurance expired the next day after I dropped it off. So I had a deadline when I needed the car back, and they were aware of it before I even dropped the car off.
We just purchased a new Telluride from Chris H. at Kia West. The total experience from start to finish was a breeze. Couldn't recommend Chris or this dealership enough for their friendly, honest and attentive service. Everyone at the dealership on the day of purchase was a pleasure to deal with. Insurance desk told me I had to get premium insurance with ICBC it was $520 a month, and when I paid my car full she still told me i have to keep the same insurance so I thought it was just expensive for foreign drivers in BC, i thought this was hilarious price so i went to the auto broker in front my house and price dropped to $197. I was paying the extra $300 for her!

I would like to Commend Hewa Waisi for giving us a great experience. We usually do not like dealing with sales because we usually feel like we were a commodity or just a goal. Hewa was different he brought humanity to the experience he made it feel like he was there with us to buy not to deal with us. I can't say anything else but praises to this guy. Special mention to Noah for giving us a great deal. We were hard bargainers but he was able to give us something that made us happy in the end. You guys made a stressful day into a great experience.
I recently purchased a Kia Forte Ex from Kia West and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had when buying a new car. Andrew was my salesperson and he was really great during the whole process.
We were looking at multiple sedans from all brands and Kia West was by far the friendliest! Joel personally picked us up in the car we were interested in and we got to test drive it back to the dealership (talk about efficiency!). Their sales tatics were a little aggressive (which can be daunting if you don’t know what you really want) but they do try very hard to make the deal work for you and make sure you are happy with it. The whole process was quick: from financing to insurance to getting the keys. All done within the visit! However, make sure you read all the documents before you sign. We agreed on a number but the financing documents came out different. We had to really stand our ground. There was an AC and Finance fee that was never mentioned but in the end, they did agree to take them out. This is my first time buying a car and I don’t know if these fees are normally tacked on without mentioning. Otherwise, happy with my experience.

I worked with Jason online and Jared in person. I had such a positive experience from start to finish! The vehicle I was interested in was exactly as advertised and they loaned it to me for an afternoon to really get the feel of it. Of course, I loved it, bought it and now drive it. Higher pressure sales than other dealerships, and they like to haggle. They started the negotiations for our seltos $3k above msrp. Watch out for the $700 "finance fee" they add during financing - it's not legit. They refunded it to us when we pointed that out though. They offered us a fair trade-in price, and after sales service is good. While we feel we slightly over-payed, we do love our seltos.

I recently had a headlight burn out. It was rather expensive as it was a HID light. Worse the bumper has to be removed to change it. I called the parts department and they gave me a reasonable price (I did check other places) and service said to stop in anytime. It took a while to replace but they got to work on it right away. I had questions about the bulb so the service advisor had the mechanic come out and we went over it at the car. I am very pleased with their professionalism, friendliness and the overall experience. I was very surprised at how little they charged to replace the bulb.
My wife and I can’t say enough great things about our salesperson Adam Neawon. We were hesitant about bringing our two young children to the dealership but Adam made all 4 of us feel incredibly welcomed, even getting our daughters hot chocolate while waiting. Although we didn’t purchase a vehicle on our first visit, he followed up and was able to work out numbers that worked for us and we couldn’t be happier with the vehicle that Adam helped us with. Throughout the entire process he was open, honest, did not pressure and was very attentive to our needs, going above and beyond at every step. Thanks again Adam!

I came in to look at cars and get ideas of prices because my wife wasn't with me. When I arrive the salesman was using pressure tactics from when he said hello. I made it clear I didnt want to buy anything but when your at Kia west be prepared for the sales people to be pushy and rush you. Kia west made me feel like every car would be sold if I didnt make a 20k purchase within 5 minutes of me comimg to browse for car ideas. Avoid this place. It was not a good enviroment. It also took a week to get my deposit back they pressured me into.

Update Kia West took a $500 refundable "down payment" on a Thursday for 2018 Chevy 2500 to hold it for a Saturday when we could look at it and test drive. Fine. This seems to be the practice these days. It is not a hold on the credit card, they actually charge it! On Saturday we discovered the truck had major damage in the truck bed so we did not want it. Of course they had not posted pictures of the truck bed, otherwise we would not even have gone there and looked at the truck. Instead we looked at a 1500 and moved the "deposit" on to this car until Monday. We called Monday that we would not take the car and please to refund the money......Nothing. 2 phone calls later, still nothing. After finally calling the financing department they said they would refund it. Update: the money has finally been credited back to our credit card on Saturday. In my opinion it is not worth the hassle with these "down payments". If you are really, really sure you want the car. Update: we got the deposit money finally refunded.
People are pleasant but things just take soooo long every time Update: another day, another 3 hour oil change. Apparently asking for a check on alignment and rear shocks requires 2.5 hours since an oil change is a 45 min procedure (at least it took less than an hour all the years I went to Honda or Mazda). Get it together guys, people have stuff to do. Offering me a ride home is not any where near good enough since, you know, you have my car. Nice guys at the counter, work is good. But the waits are just plain stupid. Unacceptable

After visiting and/or communicating with several Kia dealerships in Vancouver/the lower mainland of BC, I found Kia West to be by far the best. Right from my first point of contact with Francis in Internet Sales, to Shayne Sharma the Sales Manager I did the deal with, to Venu Mangat the Business Manager who processed my lease, they were all very respectful, warm and extremely professional. I have to say that this has been the very best car buying experience I have ever had in 25 years! I would like to give particular praise to Shayne Sharma, the Sales Manager at Kia West, who was absolutely fantastic in the way he conducted business with me from start to finish. A very genuine, professional, respectful and warm individual whose approach convinced me I was in excellent hands. There was never any shady sales tactics, pushy, aggressive or rude attitude from Shayne. His focus was simply to listen to me and build a customer relationship - which he did excellently! Shayne is a real asset to Kia West and I can't thank him enough. The whole team and set up at Kia West is very professional, welcoming and stress free. It was the month end of August when I purchased my Kia Soul and despite the dealership being very busy, they still made time for me, made me feel like a valuable customer and worked extremely well under pressure. They pulled out all the stops to get me the very last 2015 Kia Soul in the lower mainland - and at a great price! It didn't seem an effort for them, more a pleasure. I would have no hesitation in dealing with Shayne and Kia West again, for both purchasing a new vehicle, and servicing of my current vehicle.

I brought my mum here after hearing about a great deal on a used Kia Rio, and we were never pushed in to something new as they understood we were only interested in this one. We love our experience at this location. It was our first time going to a Kia dealership and both John Hong (Sales) and Mo Meghji (Sales Manager) went beyond what a typical sales person would do to work with our budget for the vehicle we were looking at. Especially John, he spent a few hours to show us all the features of the car, working out the number for us etc and his can-do attitude should be the benchmark to all sales person. I may not have purchased a vehicle here at KIA West in Coquitlam, however, that being said, I have worked with the team there including upper management for 1.5 years. I have nothing but good things to say about them and the team there. They have treated me with respect and any time I reach out to them, they are always there. If I was in the market for a KIA vehicle, this is where I would go without question. Each time I go into the dealership I am welcomed with a smile which goes a long way. we have been going through up and down in this shop. but in anyway, we got a good deal and bought a sedona from them comparing with some other Japanese Vans options and the other Kia shop. general speaking we are happy to see that the sales manager Dane Endresen step up and take the responsibility and own the problem. we have the promised free car wash and the service , oil changed including the engine oil and filter for three years. which can relieve us from quite a lot of problem. so we gonna see them very often later on.

Never come here! They tell you a lot of lies and have a very deceiving haggling process. I came in to search for new 2018 Kia Sorentos, because there is a manufacturer discount on those, up to $5,000 in cash. When I came in, the first thing I asked for were the 2018's Kia Sorentos. The seller (S****t), started lying. Some of the lies he told us: - Well, you know, our best deals are actually on the 2019's. Truth: he just didn't have any 2018's. - The 2018 is now considered a used car, you will not get the same warranty. Truth: it is not, is just a different model year. Then he showed us the 2019, we liked it, and the haggling started. First he said that the car cost $45,049. That is a lie. The MRSP for the 2019 Kia Sorento EX Premium which was the car that we were looking at is $42,950.00. Basically they did this so they could, even without us asking, starting haggling it down to trick you into thinking it is a good deal, when you are paying MRSP (or even more). Then they made us an offer, which the seller said with all the words it was all inclusive, of taxes and fees. Both my wife and I understood it really well. When we came back the next day to close the deal, he said he would maintain the same deal from yesterday and came with the sheet for us to sign. I started carefully reading though the numbers, and it was actually the value he told us + TAX and + fees. When I questioned, he lied again. Said it was never with taxes included. The manager came and said he wouldn't be able to honour that. We went to a different Kia dealership the next day and purchased a 2018 Kia Sorento as we wanted, without any lying! The negotiation started at MRSP and it was always very clear what was included or not. Please, never come here! We shouldn't allow dealers like these to grow. EDIT: they already called me three times to try to get me to delete/change this review.
We recently moved from Alberta to the PoCo area. We have had Kia cars for 10 years because they have been reliable vehicles with great performance. Though we were very loyal to the same Kia dealership there, because we had moved and it was time for a newer car once we arrived, we looked up the nearest Kia dealership to us and came to Kia West to see what they could do for us. From the moment we arrived and over the next several days of deciding upon which car we'd buy, we were treated like royalty with respect, kindness and trust (we got to keep overnight and test drive for a day the first car we were looking at: who does that?!). Once we found the car we wanted, the sales and admin staff made it an absolute pleasure in every respect to do business with them, giving us a great deal on a beautiful 2020 Optima that is a dream to drive. We could not be happier with the way everything came together for us. If you are looking for a great vehicle, deal and staff, you have to come to Kia West and experience what buying a car should be for everybody. I had an awesome experience,. I took two different test drives and decided on the 2019 Chevy Silverado. It was the best bang for the buck as my old truck is starting to show it’s age. Time for an upgrade

We have been dealing with Kia West for over 10 years now and have purchased 4 new vehicles them starting with a Kia Rondo in 2007 that my adult son now drives. We have always been treated fairly and all of the staff we have dealt with have been nothing but friendly and professional. My wife traded in her 5 year old Sorento for a new one last year and is so happy with the vehicle and the way she was treated during the purchase. She bargained hard and never felt talked down to or disrespected as was often the case at other dealerships in the past. We will definitely continue to be part of the Kia family!

Once they sold you the car, they dont care about you. They lost one of our keys and took 3 weeks to admit it; they would blame other employees or flat out ignore our calls when we'd call to ask for our second key. The parts office is always booked much, much ahead, so our oil changes must be booked at least two weeks in advance. The place is disorganized, and messy.
After a few negative dealership experiences, I was pleased with the efficiency and promptness of this one. Mitch was helpful, applied no sales pressure, and he listened to what I was looking for in a vehicle. Happy with the purchase and experience at this dealership!
Took my Kia 2020 forte ex in to this location. They didnt have any loners available during my repair which was frustrating however they did get my vehicle fixed wen applewood kia had said it was not possible due to diesel in my car ( because that would require service not covered under the warrenty with repairs up to $600 +, basically lieing and trying to rip me off) First time in to Kia west Joe was absolutly amazing i also got my oil change, they didnt find the problem on the first look but he insisted for me to bring it in for further diagnostics. Im glad I did bécause they found the problem and repaired it. Not having a loner car while its a dealership with tons of cars was frustrating however non the less they got the job done! Super friendly great customer service Im glad I went and will continue to make my service visits at this location instead of applewood kia in surrey.
The first person that deserves credit is John. He has given me exceptional customer service even after sales. It is people like him that gives great memories whenever I arrive at the KIA West Coquitlam. Truly the best ????
The people at the service desk and sales are awesome. The reason for the 4 stars is because, i noticed every time i get my car back after a service, it has stains inside out.. last time there were creamy whitish stains on the passengers seat and dash. Someone spilled his drink in there who knows. Overall, i am very happy with KIA West.

I was in the Kia West store a month ago after corresponding with several people there regarding a Toyota Venza that I wanted. It was my fault that I had waited so long to go in and test drive because sadly when I did it was sold. I thought that I would have to start from scratch looking for another one but to my surprise they told me they would do the work for me. It has been a month and I got the call last Friday that they had one that met all my requirements including the price range I wanted. I just left today very happy with it and could not express my gratitude to all the amazing employees that helped me get the car I wanted.

What a useless website. I'm on the hunt for a vehicle with the intention of having a vehicle by the end of this week. I want to shop online and find vehicles I'm interested in then spend a day driving around to look at these vehicles. Not 1 single used vehicle on this website has a price listed. What is the point of posting vehicles on your website if you're not going to list all relevant & important info such as the price? Key West is off my list of places to shop.

Raj and prince helped me get into my 2019 wrx and they were both incredible! Their service was on another level! They would stay up until 1 am trying to find me the perfect vehicle for my situation. We travelled 4 hrs to look at a vehicle that we didn't end up liking at the dealership. Luckily there was something in the same class that they worked with us on. Everyone from the sales manager and salesman to finance were great to work with. We were pleasantly surprised with the service and hospitality. They certainly have the upper hand being open on Sundays too. Glad to see a dealership that treats the customer as priority number one.
Just got my first vehicle ever here and I am very happy with my experience. I never felt pressured in any way while I was looking. It took a couple of hours for me to make a decision between the Forte and the Rio but all the staff were really patient with me. Kia west made the whole experience smooth. They had wide range of cars for all kinds of budget. Managers and salesperson (Andy) were super helpful and understanding.
Me and my husband were treated with disrespect and condescension, spoken down to and was almost forced to sign paperwork before they would even help us (Commitment that we will deal the same day if the price is right). After we said that we would be leaving, they brought in the manager who pressured us even more and continued to condescend us like we didn't know what we were doing. He felt like he could take advantage of me and my husband and then purposefully antagonized us with a low-ball offer for our current vehicle and then brushing off our response by saying that "It's the ugly truth". Even if our Car is not the best out there, you as a Sales Manager do not have nay right to talk down to your customer. We think Kia West need to take a serious action in training not only Sales Persons but also the Sales managers better. We have heard bad a lot more bad experiences for Kia West in Coquitlam but we thought we would give it a try since we leave in the same neighborhood. I am sorry to say but we had the worst experience and would never go back there. No knowledge of Customer Service, just sales oriented.
Just i want to say I'm not happy with this deal. Because I had some problem with finances department. They charge me $600 for tire warranty without my permission.

My family and I came in on Sunday (Sep,13th.2020) to look for a car for my Mom and we had an idea of what we were looking for, so earlier that day I had called to inquired about a deal that my dad saw in the newspaper and John who i spoke to over the phone was very helpful and had encouraged us to come down and take a look at the car. When arriving to the dealership everyone was super nice and helpful, we managed to find John as he was helping another customer so he had asked his colleague Joel to help us out instead. So we told Joel what we were looking for and the specific features that we had wanted in the vehicle as well. He had brought out a 2020 kia sorento and let us go for a test drive. Upon arriving back to the dealership my mom had found that the car was a little to big for her liking and it has seemed like our search was coming to an end but Joel was commited and determined enough to show us one more car that could work out so much better instead. He brought us a 2020 kia sportage and once again let us go for a test drive with the car, instantly my mom fell in love with the car because she felt very comfortable driving it. When we got back to the dealership we offered a price to Joel for the car he said he would try his best to work something out for us in terms of pricing and as he tried and tried he was finally able to give us what we wanted. May i say that for someone who started just two weeks prior to us coming i had gave Joel a challenge in negotiating a price but the sales team at key west is lucky to have someone like Joel because he did not stop till he found us the right car but at the same time with little to no pressure whatsoever. I will definitley reccommend anyone and everyone to see Joel at kia west when it comes to looking for a vehicle. Once again Thank you so much Joel and manager Shy for helping us out. Cheers
We bought our car there a month ago. We were well received and the service was very nice. They called a week after to check if everything was ok with the car. The store manager and the sales person (Andrew) were very friendly.
Terrible experience!!! I have financed a used car from this dealership about 3 weeks ago and guarantee it for 4 years, they told me the car is on great condition and does not have any problem.but when I drived toward home I found two problems first that front suspension had a problem and secondly A/C didn't work, I contacted them about these problems, they told we checked it, but if you found problems bring it for us to resolve it, they resolve a front suspension and for A/C they ask me to pay 100$ for it, while at the first day of purchasing vehicle it had a problem and I told them about this issue. After Too much conflict they accept to repair it and they gave me a KIA soul till fixing A/C,and told me the part will arrive and it'll be fixed next week.now it takes more than 10 days and each time I contact to the kia West they tell me we will call you and I am still waiting for them to call me just for the 1 part of A/C!!! 1
When I visited a few months ago to see Telluride, they do not have it and they asked me a $500 deposit to show the car when it arrives. And I called today if they have Telluride to take a look, but reception lady transferred to body part at first, when I called again, she transferred to answering machine. I called again and "Do not just transferred the call and Can you take a look around and let me know if there's telluride? " And she said "she can not check it now". It's not a very big place, but it's a place where you can't even check if there's a car to show. When I said I will never go that place , she said ok and hung up. What a good service.
My wife and I were extremely happy with the hard work and patience of our sales rep Tyler. He took time to understand our needs and provide it is us with multiple options. Mo, Manager, also provide a personal interest in ensuring we were happy with the vehicle And price that fit our needs. Shayne, Finance Manager, was also relatable and enjoyable to work with.
We had a heck of a time getting an approval because of trusting other car companies who scammed us. But thanks to the amazing effort of so many people (sorry if i miss a few names), Jenny E, Sean, Jen and the entire finance team, we were able to come up with a solution, and instead of leaving with the car I THOUGHT I wanted, I left in the car I NEEDED. Not to mention that, but they really pulled through and got us into a Niro with the color we wanted and treated us amazingly. I never once felt pressure, and while again I couldn't get everything I thought I wanted, I know that I walked away with one hell of a deal. I want to thank all of Kia West who was involved in this trade in, (including those names I never mentioned or who worked in the background) for being so dedicated to making this a pleasant transaction. I am so much more fond of this Niro, over the Soul based on my needs, and even my baby sleeps comfortably on long car rides. This was my first brand new car purchase, and I now know, if I need to get the best deal, I am going to Kia West and asking for Jenny and Sean and the team, because I know they actually understand I'm a person and not just a paycheck. If you are thinking of buying a car, look no further, be patient and be willing to compromise on trying to get everything of what you think is a deal, and listen to their explanations and recommendations, think it over and then go back. This was single-handedly the best choice I made.
Daniel was a great sales rep who provided useful and timely information to help me make a decision on the Kia Soul electric that I ended up going with. Interactions with him never felt pushy or forced. The team also was able to match the price I had found at another dealership which saved me a trip!

Booked an appointment to test drive the Niro EV. I arrived ahead of time to make sure they are aware, but waited over an hour later after the appointment and still was unable to test drive the vehicle. The reason given was that another salesperson had the car and showing it to all his customers, even after telling him I was waiting for the car, that salesperson just smiled and drove off again. Left disappointed. Salesperson was trying to sell me to car also gave me wrong information about their competitors. If I was ever to get a Kia, it would not be from here.
I had a amazing experience. Feiyue, our salesperson was really knowledgeable and helpful. My mom doesn’t speak English that well. He explained to her about the difference between the models, answered all of her questions and suggested car model that fits our need. Big thank you for all of the help.
Good experience and excellent customer service. My salesman, Kody, exceeded all expectations. The best salesman experience I have had in over 12 car purchases. Extremely genuine and caring. He was very personable and polite. Kody actually listened and respected my wishes without me having to repeat myself. Communication was excellent. He followed up with me several times. And went to bat on my behalf. I will definitely call Kody when I'm looking for my family's next vehicle.
Had a very pleasant experience buying a fantastic 2016 Sorento here. Jacob was a great guy to deal with and provided options for coming up with a deal that everyone could agree on. I found it very stress free and would absolutely recommend him and the dealership to anyone. With the way Kia has been going in features and quality it really makes a lot of sense to go check them out.
So far after talking to Tyler, I have felt somewhat forced to come into the dealership even after him knowing the car that I wanted to trade in was in the shop. There was no point driving out to Coquitlam from the north shore without being able to give me a price on my trade in, but still trying to get me to the dealership and waste money and time when I already explained the situation. Not very impressed with the whole customer service when you don't listen to you're customer. Re: follow up from management Jordan Thanks for the follow-up in regards to my great customer service experience. NOT! Talked to Jordan to only get more annoyed at the fact that he said he would be a few seconds to get back to me, with an hour and a half passing with a reminder from me to get a response with lol being the first thing in response to me saying that took quite a bit... Wow is all I can say!!! Definitely never dealing with kia West again! Disappointing really... You would think customer service should be priority... Not with these guys... Kia's are great cars.. too bad the people trying to sell them don't match their quality! If there was an option for 0 stars they certainly deserve it!

Great dealership with excellent service. Just bought my second KIA from this dealership and the entire team was fantastic. I sent an email asking for a quote on a new 2019 Sorrento SXL and I had my numbers within a couple of hours. Stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon, chose the color and walked out in about 2 hours with a new vehicle. The whole process was seamless - Mo and his sales team were excellent and accommodating, the parts department had ordered my running boards before I even signed the documents, finance made everything easy and seamless and Kali helped me get started on all the fun features in the vehicle. A few days later, someone attempted to break into the vehicle and again the team were fantastic and took care of the repairs right away. I have been to other dealerships and this by far has been the best one both times. Thank you to Mark and his entire team.
Brought my second hand KIA in for warranty work I had found by punching the VIN in the KIA Canada site, they did it all no questions asked, washed and vacuumed my car. Super great customer service, I will come back for sure. Noah & Jenny in sales are also amazing, and helped me look at a Honda, I didn't end up purchasing but they went above for me and dealt with my 10000 questions. 10/10 thanks guys!

I previously had a very harshly worded negative review of this dealership because of my experience with their service department over the last few months having had my car serviced a few times. Today I spoke with the new management and they seemed to 'get it' ('it' being customer expectations when you purchase a new car with service plan). So I will be giving them another try. If you'd had problems with their service department before it might be the time to give them another try. I will report back with a revised review once I've had a chance to see if new management translates into better customer care. So for now...here's to hoping.
I recently got my license (at almost 23 lol) and I decided I wanted a car finally. Both my boyfriend and I don’t know much about cars, but we went to Kia as my first test drive and had an amazing experience! I booked my test drive super late and Camille got back to me so fast, and she set us up with Raghav to help us out. I had looked at the K5 online but seeing it in person and online was so different! Luckily, Raghav was very informative and friendly, so even tho it was technically my first dealership experience, it was great :)
Best sales service I've ever experienced!! I've usually bought premium German cars before acquiring my Kia Telluride so still had to be convinced as I wasn't too sure about the brand. With the telluride being in such high demand I actually spoke to a few Kia dealerships around Vancouver but Kia West was a step above the rest as I felt they actually wanted to engage as opposed to a somewhat arrogant approach by other dealerships where there was an attitude of take it or leave it. The moment we spoke with Raghav our sales lead we realised we had a sales guy on the top of his game. Polite, courteous, patient, extremely knowledgeable and always going above and beyond. I mean he responded to questions on his day off and handled hiccups at ease. I can honestly say he was a joy to deal with and felt he always placed our best interests first. Delivering on every promise time and time again. Raghav, lives and breathes the mantra of customer first. We'll miss him, is the biggest compliment I can pay. I would also like to add Tyler Baskin, Bradley and Kali Cameron into the mix who also were great and continued the great work Raghav did. Keep up the world class customer service Kia West. You have a special team and yes loving the car :-)

I was very specific about what I wanted and my budget. Was shown different vehicle than what I made appointment to see, wouldn't give me the price just kept saying "you'd be surprised" when I said I couldn't afford this. Shown different vehicle which suddenly was no longer available when I was getting an estimate. Shown a car double my budget and finance guy was disrespectful and sexist. Emailed a complaint and never heard back. I'm sure they will post a "get in touch with us" comment ..too little too late. Would not recommend. I purchased a car from another dealership and had a great experience.
After the recession in 2008 you really saw Kia flourish as a company because they sell great cars at affordable prices. The service and attention to detail you receive at Kia West takes it to a whole other level. Their staff is friendly, helpful and honest and I would highly recommend the next purchase or lease of any car be done through the staff at Kia West.
It may have taken longer then I had hoped and Kia expected but I knew what I wanted and the colour wasn’t settling. Andy was an awesome salesman and tyler Baskins was very professional keeping me posted every step of the 7 month wait. Shayne from financing is professional and has great humour. Zolton had my insurance fast and easy . Both shayne and zolton were very knowledgeable in things that are available. I am so happy to finally have my Kia Sorento sx in Aruba stone (green) beautiful

Compared to other Kia dealerships, Kia West is much easier and less stressful to deal with. I’ve purchased My last two vehicles here and I’ve always had friendly, no pressure sales staff that are willing to negotiate fairly with no BS.

Their top management should have a real sale to clear those used vehicles in their side yard. These vehicles are eyesores in Coquitlam. They are dusty and some of them are older models. I thought it was in a run down used car dealership. But it belongs to Kia West. These vehicles really hurt their image. I had a poor impression of this company when their sales manager gave my salesperson, who was very courteous, outrageously high prices. I think the day time sales manager must have lost track of both market trends and prices of used vehicles. That was why they had so many dusty and older cars in a junk yard like setting. Definitely hurt Kia West image and sales.

Garbage dealership. Pushy sales staff, plus they charge a ridiculous "dealer mark-up" OVER MSRP and FINANCE FEES and high DOC FEES, and they'll try to all slip it in until the very end without telling you, so make sure you read through the full breakdown. Or better yet, just don't ever shop at this Kia dealership, take your business elsewhere and if you must buy a Kia, then buy from North Shore Kia, it's worth the drive trust me.

Absolutely one of the best experiences I've ever had dealing with a dealership. They put me in the vehicle I wanted and they did everything in their power to make it happen. I bought a vehicle from this location. The sales men that helped me I feel took advantage of me and my situation. The whole thing was just wrong and Ive gone back to talk to the person that helped me and he is no longer working there I wonder why.... Even when I've gone in for a oil change and a "car wash" it was a joke they don't care about there customers or there work. I need to get my brakes and oil change done but I won't bother going back there. And I wouldn't recommend it for anyone.

first of all let me start by saying that I wasn't asked to write this review or anything like that but I felt that it was necessary for me to share my amazing experience with JORDAN. My wife and I decided to upgrade to an SUV( 2017 Sorento) from our little Kia Forte. Lets just say I did an EXTENSIVE amount research before approaching any dealership. Therefor I knew the value of our car whole sale and retail. Due to my busy schedule and my wife not being comfortable going in to a dealership on her own, I knew I would have to get the deal done on online/phone. I emailed and called every KIA dealership I could think of. I was very honest about what I wanted and advised them that all I wanted was the best price which I'm sure they hear quite often. I wont name the other dealerships but basically they were horrible but Jordan at Kia West gave me the best service and the best price BY FAR(he didn't even know the other quotes, that's how honest this man is). I GAINED EVEN MORE TRUST WHEN HE OFFERED ME EXACTLY WHAT MY CAR WAS WORTH AND EVEN PUT IN ANOTHER $1000 FOR ME TO HELP WITH MY NEGATIVE EQUITY(HE EVEN DIDN'T KNOW I KNEW THE VALUE OF MY CAR), Every other dealership was $3000 less for my trade and the payments they offered me were not even close to Jordan at Kia West. We went to Kia West looking for a economical hybrid vehicle. Ended up getting a Niro Hybrid EX premium and a deal that nobody could have offered. Raghav helped me purchase my family’s 1st car in canada. He was referred to me by my nephew who had already bought a Seltos from him and we loved how he treated all of us. He even went to pickup my family cos I didn’t bring them along (as I was not prepared to buy a car) so that they can have the car buying experience. He made the purchase enjoyable & restraint. We never felt pressurised & I would buy all my cars from Raghav no matter wherever he goes.
I bought a Forte from Mr. Lee from Kia West in Coquitlam on August 21st. It was the day Kia West held an event, and he said that if I bought a car that day, he would give me a present. So, we bought a Forte and Mr. Lee promised to give us a $200 gas card and a car mat. He said he would send the fuel card and mat in about two weeks, but Mr. Lee hasn't sent us anything for over three weeks. I called Mr. Lee and asked when he would send me the promised items, the manager in charge was a little late because he was on vacation, and he promised to check it out himself and call me the next day. However, he did not give me a call the next day or the following week, and he did not send me the gas card and mat he had promised. After that, I called several times, but no action has been taken so far. The last time I spoke to him was on October 8th, and even then, he sent me a gas card the next day and mat promised to send it within two weeks, but it's been over six weeks and he hasn't sent me anything yet, and there's no contact. Kia West in Coquitlam, which strives in various ways to increase the patience of its customers, is a really great company. Thanks to you, I'm really grateful that my patience has grown even after being deceived. I do not know when I will receive the fuel card and car mat you promised, but I look forward to that day.
Was nervous purchasing a new vehicle with a trade in however I was put at ease immediately upon arriving. I dealt with salesperson Hanna. Wonderful interaction, honest and straight shooter. Worst experience ever. I had a crash and tried to order parts from here. The staff offered a good deal saying that he would take care of entire thing with reasonable price. I was gonna just buy parts and ask my friend to fix it (he works at the body shop) but they offered a cheaper price so i just decided to fix my car at kia. It was a huge mistake. First of all it took me forever to get my car fixed because of the parts being delayed. Well i understand this becaus this is not their fault. But they increased price all of a sudden. I managed to understand this too since it was not that much. But the most frustrating part was they didnt fix my car! All they did was just changing the parts and the alignment was still way off. Literally parts were sticking out of the place. So i complained to the girl at the service and she said they are not body shop and they dont do alignment. I said the other guy told me he would fix my car entirely including the alignment and i had a written proof too. The girl confirmed with him and told me they would try to find a way and give me a call later. She never did. After waiting for more than two weeks i just decided to fix my car from my friends bodyshop spending additiinal couple of hundreds. I was gonna complain to this girl at the service but just decided to step away because i didnt wanna deal with these people anymore. I would let everyone around me know about this place and make them stay away. It was a mistake to buy a kia car from the first place. Keep your words if you wanna be professional guys. And dont lie to me saying that there is someone who is interested in my car at your shop and you wanna buy off my car. Everyone knows thats a disgusting scam to sell a new car.

Do not buy a car here, do not bring your car for service here. Only had issues since I bought a one year old vehicle hear. At this point I can't drive my Sorento, I go somewhere and I try to use it again and it's dead. I told them about the common relay sticking issue and they just blew me off. They had there "best technician" on it and they said its just fine and they're releasing the car to me. A vehicle I cannot use or trust especially when driving my daughter around. Will never buy or bring my car back here again. Even paid extra 3k for warranty
I don't often have a memorable enough experience that motivates me to write a review but in this case I had to. The other morning I had the misfortune of hitting a deep pot hole dead on and not only damaging my tire but my beautiful rim on my Kia Rio SX. I had to call roadside assistance and had my car towed in. Patrick in service was amazing! He squeezed me in on what was clearly a busy day and not only had my tire replaced but my rim restored to its original condition. A mobile rim repair service just happened to be there that day and he arranged everything with no hassle. I was stressed out that I would have to miss work but Patrick was able to arrange a ride for me. The shuttle driver Ron is a delightful host and was kind enough to give me a lift to work and back. I picked up my little Rio later that day as if nothing had happened! I was even delighted to find I had received a much needed wash and vacuum. Thank you for taking the stress out of my day Kia West. I look forward to your future assistance!

Although mostly everything went smoothly I am not happy with the insurance service. Very frustrating and lengthly process unfortunately. Last week I was shopping for a new car, especially looking for a Hyundai Palsade Luxury trim which was going fast and stock had been depleted in most the dealers. Lucky for me, I dropped by Kia West and lo-and behold, a white used Hyundai Palisade Luxury with only 8,000 km was on lot - it was only 5 months old. Fei and Mitch were great in showing the car and have negotiated a price and extras that we agreed on. Unfortunately Noah, the manager came and ruined the expeerience. He knocked off some of agreed extras which I thought was not really professional. Just to gain a few dollars more made me instead of giving Kia West a five stars - a four stars instead. Five stars go to Fei and Mitch and three stars to Noah. Brad the finance guy was great. Same goes to Rachel who did my insurance at Kia West. Mitch and Fei delivered the car to my place the next day nice and clean after detailng. Much appreciated. Overall, I am quite happy with the purchase and the two great personal sales staff at Kia West. If you go shopping there, ask for Fei and/or Mitch. They are easy to talk to and don't do hard sell.

If you're looking for a Kia don't waste your time with other dealers, go directly to Kia West. They have the easiest, lowest hassle, most direct and honest salespeople, and the best prices in the area. I spent several hours at different Kia dealerships in the area negotiating terms for the Kia Soul EV that I had decided to purchase. The staff at other GVRD area Kia dealers were ok, they were exactly what most car sales people are like. If you're looking for that type of experience, where all manner of sales technique are attempted on you over a lengthy process through overly friendly forced smiles, go to any dealer but Kia West. However, if, like me, you prefer to negotiate with an honest partner who actually respects you and your time, go talk to Parker and John at Kia West. After several exhausting interactions at various Kia dealerships I was very pleasantly surprised at the tone when I phoned Kia West. I spoke with John and told him that I wanted a white Kia Soul electric vehicle and the budget I had with which to make the purchase. He took my information down and assured me that he would get back to me as soon as possible. That was a two minute phone call. Within about 15 minutes Parker had called me back to say that they had the model I wanted and made me a price offer. That was another two minute phone call. I considered his offer for a few minutes and called him back with a counter offer, which he took about 30 seconds to come back and accept. The next morning we went to pick up our new car and sure to his word the price was exactly what we had agreed upon the night before. All told the deal took about six minutes to make, and best yet the price was better than any other dealer. Do yourself a favour, save the time and hassle of the typical experience of having something sold to you. Go buy from Parker and John at Kia West.
I always have a great experience visiting KIA West. From the front desk to the Sales associates, they all treat you in a friendly and professional manner. I received great service from Reagan at the front desk in the past and dealt with Joe this time who goes the extra mile to make sure the best service in every aspect is delivered. That meant a lot to me! Kali at the customer service desk is such a caring person and the sales associate I dealt with this time, Jonas is smart, funny and honest. Long story short, it makes me actually glad when the time for service is due!
used car scam artists - we purchased in total 4 new cars from Kia West when they were on Lougheed Highway and the service and customer care were way better before they got too big. For new cars they are probably still ok although there are better deals out there with Applewood etc. It is used cars, I always buy used when my wife buys new and at the same time. My first used from Kia West was a Toyota Camry which I was assured had no issues, had low km's was senior owned and would need nothing for several years other than maybe an oil change. This was $7000 cash deal and nothing went wrong for a few months, time I came to change the car I was offered $1300 as there were so many repairs required and it was actually considered dangerous to drive by the MB dealer. So Kia West offered me $4000 and I needed another $7500 cash to buy my Mini Cooper - I reluctantly made the purchase and was again reassured that there would be no issues as the car had been through multi point inspections and nothing more than an oil change for at least 2 years! Obviously I requested a warrantee or something in writing to back this up but complete refusal to do so, this should have raised alarm bells but after spending in excess of $100k in vehicles at the dealership you are inclined to accept their word. Now ONE year later here I am with a $5000 bill for a replacement timing chain, o2 sensor, solenoid, new coils and all new spark plugs! Just shows that Kia West think nothing of their customers even with multiple repeat business, this as far as I can see is since Dusty ceased to be in charge and their business managers consist of the owners son Dane and Mo neither of whom should be trusted! We have been ripped of by Kia West and will never go back, in fact we love Kia but used Applewood. While Dusty may have looked like a cowboy these guys really are, Dusty I know would have taken my used car back at full price paid or covered the cost of repair, anything to keep a customer happy, these guys, plain and simple just don't care, take your money and after that see you later, we're done! Buyer beware, NEVER do business with these people unless you can afford $50k a year in repairs or new cars!

We got our car in this dealership a few months ago and the car is absolutely great. However, the service leaves much to be desired. They constantly over promise, under deliver and never apologize. Car wash took over an hour while they promised "30 min or less" and the car wasn't even washed, just wet. It was the same with the sales team, what they say never matched what actually happened. From my experience, this would never have happened in Korea, their customer service is usually top notch. I don't know about other locations in Metro Vancouver, but this one needs to reconsider their business processes and customer service.
A snowy Valentine's Day we decided to venture out and look at the Kia Soul. We were greeted by a young man Joel, who was very welcoming and friendly. He asked a few questions but also let us look around and let us have our space. Once I had gone for a test drive, we talked more about what I was looking for in a vehicle and Joel suggested a few options. I was very pleased with the Kia Soul he had picked for me and within my budget. I had a great purchase experience with Kia West. I did my entire negotiation online with Jenny and Mo, who were very responsive and patient in working out all the details. When I went to the dealership the car was ready for the test drive and sales representative Andy was very helpful and friendly in explaining all the features of the vehicle. I closed the deal and drove the car home on the same day. After that, I had some follow-up interactions with their Customer Service Manager, Kali, who was also very cordial and professional. So far, this dealership has demonstrated a good level of customer obsession with an attentive team. I could also notice an above-industry-average level of transparency in their communication. On top of that, after some negotiation, they have a competitive price for new Kia vehicles. I will definitely consider this dealership for my regular maintenances and for the next time I decide to buy a car.

Hi, I would like to share my experience in kia west. We arrived Vancouver in August 2019 and exactly 7 days after that we bought our first car there. Noah who works there as a manager helped us a lot. I absolutely could say, without him we couldn’t be able to buy car. He has supported us since we told him we like mini cooper till now ( after almost A year). He put all his effort to help us to buy our favorite car with unbelievable price. About last week, my husband and I decided to buy another car and again we went to kia west. I can say Noah and all the people there are so helpful , kind, professional. They help us to finance a 2020 car, however, it’s just less than one year we are in Canada. I would like to say thank you to all the people who work in Kia West, and Especially Noah who help us like a brother.
While there were some rocky moments during the beginning of my Kia West experience, in the end, I was glad that it did not sway me to give my business elsewhere. The Kia West team apologized for the negative encounters and Eidan (Sales Representative) and Noah (Senior Sales Manager) were especially helpful and professional during my last visit, where I finalized the sale and left with my new Niro EV SX Touring. Bad experience!! I was looking to buy a used car. First issue was that they don't have price on there used car inventory when you search the website. I sent a message and Chris Hyson got back to me through email saying we have 800 cars in your price range so come to the dealership to have a look! These days peaple don't come to dealership and waste their time unless they find something online that matches their need (Price & model) then they move forward. I told him send me 10 cars in my price range from the 800 cars you have he sent just two cars and said come to the dealership to see other vehicles. Very bad experience guys!!! I ended up buying a used car from Westwood Honda and had a great service.
Waited 45 minutes for parts and still no one helped me. If this is how they treat customers stay away from this Kia dealer.
Phenomenally responsive Dealership. I saw an ad for a car I had been looking for for a while online, I sent an email and Chris Hyeson the Internet sales manager called me back literally within three minutes to discuss the vehicle in question. He gave me a little information about a sale they were having the next day and sent me a flyer via email, made an appointment for the next day. We showed up first thing in the morning on Saturday and it was like a night club in there in the best way possible. They have energetic music’s tons of super friendly sales staff, confetti cannons and pretty much anything you can think of that would make your car buying experience super fun. Chris paired us up with superstar salesman Marco who I cannot say enough good things about. He’s super friendly, he listens and doesn’t just try to talk over or pressure you. He is a superstar and if you are coming in to buy a car ask for him him you will not regret it. He worked with our budget and got us a phenomenal deal. They never tried to pressure us to spend more or upgrade on anything. They respected our budget and our wishes. I bought my car on Saturday and there was a little thing that needed to be done on it. Marco arranged for service on Monday and gave me follow up phone calls to remind me of my appointment and let me know when to come in. He was an all-star in the customer service department. Kia West is lucky to have to him on their sales team. Next time I need a car I would be happy to go to them again.

My cousin bought a car 2 years ago from here. Was promised a gas card with her deal never got it. Then when asked about it later on was told we will give her $500 for that error and still nothing....also her car makes some brutal sounds when it’s cold in the morning but the service department apparently can’t hear it.

Last April we started fresh as far as looking for a trustworthy Car Salesman. We went to Kia West, just to look at the Hybrids and Electric vehicles. That’s when we met Raghav! We STRUCK GOLD as far as finding a trustworthy salesman! We ended up buying a fully electric Kia Niro and have saved over $5000 in fuel costs. A couple of weeks ago we picked up our second Kia, a Sedona, again from Raghav. We told him what our need were and he went WAY above and beyond in making this deal happen. We will be buying ALL our future vehicles from Raghav as I know i can TOTALLY TRUST him!!! I came from Kelowna for the weekend. While driving to Vancouver, the check engine light came on. I called Kia West at 11am this morning and they were able to get my vehicle in for 1:00 to diagnose the issue. My mom and I waited for about 30 minutes and it turns out, it was a very minor issue that required no servicing, but did need to be cleared to get the check engine light turned off. The customer service was absolutely wonderful. The staff were kind, quick and helpful. Thank you Kia West for getting my vehicle in so quickly, and putting my mind at ease before the drive home tomorrow!

I am always hesitant going into a dealership, more so with my guard up especially being a women but there was just a great vibe when I went to Kia West. By far, the best dealership and staff that I've dealt with. I spent nearly two months going to various dealerships and none treated me better than Kia West. Jonas, the salesman I dealt with, was very professional, honest and down to earth. He responded timely to my phone calls and text messages, making sure that everything was on point. The service advisors do not look out for your best interest. They are more concerned about selling costumers unnecessary and expensive services rather than what you require for your visit. I had to fight for a month with advisors for my money back. There is also a huge issue with costumer-staff communication. The advisors will promise you something verbally but will not follow through because it was not written. As well as they do not bother to tell the customers the whole truth about their vehicles. I encounter these problems for all my visits and this has caused me to loose trust in the Kia company altogether. I’ve been going here for 5 years and I have had enough, you’re better off trying another Kia service centre.
Buy your car here! Specifically go see Joel Edgar to buy your car, and ask for Noah Palani if you need a manager for anything that needs, well, managerial capabilities. More details below but if this is as far as you read, that’s all you need to know. They WILL take excellent care of you. Joel took the time (several hours, in fact) to let me test drive several different cars. He also walked all over the lot with me so that I could get a look at every single car they had. New, used, trade-ins, damaged, etc. He NEVER rushed me. I was comforted knowing I had seen everything available. It felt like he was there as a facilitator as opposed to someone trying to sell me something. He didn’t push me in any particular direction, but listened to me as we talked through the different options. I’m very particular and Kia west has a TON of cars, so at some point one of the managers, Noah, helped us both out by recommending some specific vehicles to help narrow the search. And let me point out that he recommended specific ones that were IN MY BUDGET! The car I happily walked away with was a 2017 Kia Optima. It had higher mileage than average for the age of the car because it had been used as a rental. But knowing Kia cars already, that wasn’t a concern for me. When I say these cars last I really mean it! I did, however, get a one year extended warranty to help ease my mind. And when I say I got that, what I really mean is that Noah offered it to me. He understood that I had been in the market for a used car which would still have a year or so of Kia’s 5 year warranty. But because this particular car was over the mileage limit, he offered me the warranty to help ease my mind with the purchase. I didn’t ask for it, but he had listened and understood what was important to me - and I am truly grateful. The car I bought was a trade-in and when I first tried it out, we noticed there was some damage to the front bumper. When making the purchase agreement they of course agreed to have it fixed. Unfortunately, matching the paint color proved to be very difficult! They did everything. They sent it to two different paint shops and even got a brand new bumper (even though the damage was not that extensive). At one point it felt like the colour was just not going to match, but Noah didn’t back down. He insisted on making it right - and when the car came back the third time - it was PERFECT!! Special shout out to Kali in charge of service who drove the car straight to me herself and was extremely kind throughout the process of having to reschedule so many trips to the paint shop. I now have a beautiful, reliable car that I have full confidence in and can happily say I’ve made some great contacts at Kia West. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to buy another car there or to send friends their way. Joel and Noah really made my experience of buying this car, which I love so much, absolutely wonderful. And if they happen to read this: Joel, Noah, thank you for your kindness, professionalism, and for delivering on every single promise you made to me! You truly made me feel respected and cared for every step of the way. You guys are great at what you do, and I’m so glad to have met you both. Thanks for everything.
Purchased a car from Kia west yesterday and they are a fantastic group of people to do business with, Marco was our sales guy and he did everything you'd want a good sales man to do, answer whatever questions we had and made sure we were comfortable, and he was very accommodating! It was time to purchase my first vehicle and I called around 10+ dealerships and Kia West was the only dealership to listen to my needs in a new (used) vehicle. I made an appointment over the phone with car salesman Bill W. When I came into the dealership to test drive the car, Bill had the vehicle ready to go outside the door to test drive. Bill did an excellent job listening to my budget and my priorities in purchasing a vehicle. He was extremely friendly and I would strongly recommend anyone purchasing a vehicle to ask for Bill at Kia West to get quality service.

I have a Kia dealership 5 min away from my house, and yet I went all the way to Kia West to buy my car there. The reason is simple: whereas at Kia next door I didn't feel they care for my business, at Kia West I got superb service and honest deal. Everyone was knowledgeable and helpful, even staff members that were not part of my deal. Kanen and Noah, Venu and Kali, Warren and a few others whose names I, unfortunately, don't even know - everyone was super-friendly and helpful. Believe me, I did my homework while choosing my next vehicle visiting over a dozen dealerships: Honda and Toyota, BMW and Mercedes, Volvo and Acura. I saw different attitude, some better, some worse. But staff at Kia West creates great atmosphere putting a customer in a comfort zone from the moment he enters the dealership. I believe this is one of the main reasons for their success. Consider my case, for example. I was a Honda customer for 18 years and had zero problems with Honda vehicles. Naturally, my first choice was a Honda vehicle again. Kia West sales staff made sure all my concerns are addressed and all questions answered. Finally, I chose Kia Telluride over Honda Pilot and I do not regret. Thank you, guys! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I purchased 2 "lemons" from them in the last year. The first was a 2011 Kia Sportage turbo that had endless problems. After 5 visits - in a month and a half- trying to find the issues I did not feel safe driving it anymore. I was told my only option was to trade it in. In doing so I had to take on a bunch of negative equity as they did not acknowledge that it was a "lemon." Now I have a 2014 Kia Optima turbo that was their dealer demo and I was told it was in great condition. With in 2 weeks of owning it I was having serious issues with the car. After 4 visits of them trying to conscience me that there was nothing seriously wrong with my vehicle they tried to send me home - my car sounded like my boyfriends diesel truck starting up-. Clearly there was something wrong. I was leaving to go visit my parents in Kamloops driving the coquihalla in my car. If I didn't bring my boyfriend with me they would have let me take the car and go to Kamloops instead he put up a huge fight insisting there was something wrong finally they acknowledged the fact that the car didn't sound normal and ran some tests. After a month and a half and them replacing the entire engine I picked up the car and well driving it home it was so far out of alignment I could turn corners without touching the steering wheel. I drive right back to the dealer ship they did an alignment but in my opinion it should have never left the dealership in that state. I don't under stand how some body could have test drive my car to get the brand new engine in it and not noticed how far out of alignment it was. Instantly I questioned the quality of the repair. I lost all confidence in my brand new Kia. Now I am stuck with this unreliable vehicle that now is having another issue everything I step in the breaks something clunks in the suspension and I can feel it under my feet. Every time I drive I question whether I am going to make it safely to where I am going. I explained these issues to Kia Canada and to put it in polite terms they told me to go pound sand. They saw no problems with any of the issues and in their mind these were normal occurrences. After reading this would YOU ever buy a Kia??

What a great experience. Andy is the best car salesperson I've ever dealt with. Thank you Camilla for setting me up with him. My experience was very low pressure and the negotiations were very respectful. Even when i showed up to pick up the suv they were helpful. Joel noticed that one of my kids carseats was really dirty. He took it into the shop and promptly had it vacuumed. (And that was after I had paid). I bought a 2016 Sorrento and I was treated as if I bought a brand new Telluride. I really enjoyed the experience. See you guys and gals in 10-15 years after I run this Sorrento into the ground.

When we first started looking for an SUV at Kia West, we worked with Hewa. He put us at ease, wasn’t pushy and got us into a vehicle. Unfortunately there was an issue with the vehicle, from there we received excellent customer service. Sales manager, Brandon, assisted us from there. He dropped off an even better vehicle to my house and picked up the first one. He then was able to give us an amazing deal on the vehicle which we purchased, in addition to lifetime VIP oil changes. The customer service and price we were given made up for the initial hiccup. I would recommend Kia West, and encourage anyone who shops there to ask for Hewa or Brandon.

Service Department gave me a loaner car without gas, I called them from a 1/2 a block away when I realized it, and they said they didn't have any gas. I took it back, and guess what they managed to find some. I had to take my vehicle back 4 times for the same problem. They damaged my vehicle twice and denied it. If you buy a used car here, make sure it has all the features that they say it does in the ad, mine didn't but only noticed after buying. Believe it or not, I have a longer list of complaints. I am not normally a complainer; I absolutely love the car dealer I dealt with last time.
Amendment: The service manager Andrew called me today and was very genuine about my concerns. Based on our phone conversation today I am satisfied with Kia's handling of the situation and I have changed my rating to a 4. I will erase my posting based on the experience at my appointment on Tuesday. Yet another horrendous experience with the service department at Kia West Coquitlam. If I could give them zero stars I would. Amazing vehicles but their service department will leave you pulling your hair out with anger and frustration. Never again will I buy a Kia just because I can not deal with their incompetent service department. Last year we bought a brand new 2018 Kia Sedona. We priced out winter tires at many different places but decided to buy them from Kia as they offered free storage as part of their tire package. We stored our summer tires last year, then stored our winter tires in the spring both times for free as per contract. I call them just now to have my winter tires put on and at the very end of the Conversation they slip in that they are now charging $59 every 6 months to store my tires. Yet when I bought my tires a year ago the reason I bought from Kia and paid a bit more was their free tire storage. What good is a contract with a company when they go back on their word? I told them I won’t pay and they offered me $30 storage fee this time and $59 next time. No thanks. Absolutely ridiculous service. Beware of this dealership. They will rip you off every chance they get.
I had a really really great experience at Kia West! I had lots of help picking out my first car from Corey, Paul, Jason, and Chris; they were all extremely helpful. During these crazy times, I was able to receive some incentives such as the front line worker incentive which was so so kind of Kia West. I am also so so thankful that Kia West was able to help pay/give me a lift from the ferry back to their dealership as I moved from Nova Scotia and didn't have any transportation to get there. Kia West were able to help me purchase my first brand new vehicle during these stressful times so that I could get to work safely as a Registered Nurse. I can now go on adventures and hiking on Vancouver Island in my new Seltos! I highly recommend this Kia dealership. All of the people who helped me and work there are all extremely knowledgable about the products they are selling and very helpful.

They listened to my requests in terms of what i wanted and what i expected and worked with me and each other to meet my needs. Exceptional Service The service we received from the beginning to the end was exceptional. The sales team (Francis and Ali) were a pleasure to deal with. They were professional, friendly, upfront and honest with all our questions and concerns. They went over and beyond what was needed to gain our trust in them to sell us the vehicle we wanted at the price we could afford (thanks Ben). When it came time to pick up the vehicle we noticed a dent which they were able to get fixed within a few days at no extra cost. It was a pleasure dealing with Mo at this point. GREAT EXPERIENCE AT KIA WEST BUYING A USED CAR - I was interested in acquiring a decent car for around $5000.00, following my arrival in BC from Ottawa. After having visited numerous dealerships and test driving dozens of cars all around Vancouver, Surrey, Richmond, Port Moody etc over several days. I decided to heed salesperson Kim Lamont's call to visit Kia West in Coquitlam to check out the vast collection of inventory the dealership had of used cars. She spent more than an hour showing the cars in her lot on a chilly morning. There were dozens and dozens to choose from - all looked good, I narrowed down two for test drives out of which I then selected a 2003 Mitsubishi Gallant with around 154,000 kms to make an offer for purchase. Kim and Trevor Frederickson (the internet sales manager) VS me to arrive at the final purchase price! We worked well together and I felt I received an excellent car for the price that I negotiated with them. The car, as Kim had told me, had been very well maintained by the previous owner. She was right! I even checked that after purchase with a Mitsubishi dealer where the car had been serviced. Kia West had done its best to safety the car but invariably a several years old used car will have some issues. After driving the car for a couple of days I determined there were some matters that needed to looked into - there was a rattle/clunk in the front end, the trunk did not hold up, the rear seat clip attachments were broken and the wheel caps kept on falling off. I had been assured by the dealership that they would address issues that came up within the first 30 days. I must say the dealership was outright honest, and has met all my concerns without any reservations whatsoever. As soon as the parts got in, my car was fixed on the same day! If you are looking for a safe, reliable, and good driving used vehicle, Kia West in Coquitlam is the place to go to. I was extremely happy with the staff I dealt at the dealer insales, sales, financing and servicing (for example, the technician who came for a test drive to note my concerns did not rush me, and his diagnosis was on the dot with regard to the clunk noise). At the time of purchase, everything was completed on one floor including the car registration and insurance. What a wonderful group of people to deal with. Keep it up, Kia West.

The worst dealership in the lower mainland. Sales people don’t have any knowledge and mainly gather in groups outside smoking using extremely vulgar language. Management team is a joke. Finance tried to bleed us dry of all our money. It’s places like this that give dealerships a bad rep

I recently purchased a Kia Soul EV from Kia West and it was one of the better experiences I’ve had when buying a new car. Andy was my salesperson and he was really great. He asked the right questions to find out what mattered to me in a new car, and didn’t pressure me in any way to get something more expensive than what I said I wanted. He was honest and low pressure, and I felt very comfortable with him. The rest of the people I dealt with were also helpful and have continued to answers any questions I’ve had. Super happy with my new car, and would definitely recommend Andy and Kia West.
After-sales must be improved! I got a Recall Notification and when I tried to book the service on Saturday, they reached me out to inform that recalls are not serviced on Saturdays. Even though there were several available spots on Saturday, and even though I booked in the morning they said they couldn’t do it. It never happened to me with other brands/car dealers. Because I’m not paying for the service you can’t serve me on Saturdays?! Next time I buy a new car I’ll take this in consideration.
We went into Kia for an upgrade and were fortunate to be matched up with Kody. He went above and beyond for our questions and concerns and was incredibly patient as we hummed and hawed over the options. The selling point for us was Kody’s authenticity. He maintains a great balance of doing his jobs and respecting our needs. This is exactly what we needed to make this big decision. Most importantly, Kody was genuine! They really want 5 star reviews but it seems like that's all they care about. As per the hundred emails reminding me to do their survey. Brand new car, 2 days later my sales person quit. 1st service went great, but that guy is gone now too. Went in for 2nd service, told it would be X amount of dollars, made me sign a paper which was over DOUBLE the price. I questioned the guy after and it sort of made sense but why would you tell me something and then make me sign something without explaining that it is double the price. This guy at the service counter has no customer service even though he apparently used to be in sales there. Haha. Car took close to 4 hours when it should have MAYBE been 2 hours. Can't wait to get rid of this thing.
My fiancée and I bought a car from Kia West last week. While the initial service was excellent, the follow through has been no existent. Before taking it home after they fully detailed the car, we noticed that the USB port was not working properly and that the key remote was also not working correctly (odd since it seemed to be working on our test drive and when we agreed to purchase the vehicle). Since our sales representative had gone home for the day, the girl helping us assured us that she would put a note in the file and that they would call us the next day to come in to have them fix it. Two days passed and we did not hear from them so we called in, annoying but figured no big deal that they probably would be apologetic and get us in. We were told that their service department was closed for the long weekend and that they would call us Tuesday. It has now been a week since purchased this car and they have made ZERO effort to fix this and have proved impossible to get a hold of after we paid for the vehicle. Clearly this dealership only cares about the sale and you are on your own after the cash is in their hands. Overall we are just really disappointed because we did initially have such great service.
Dealership worked hard at providing me a fair price. Staff were approachable and knowledgeable. Good selection of inventory. Made the transaction easy and quick. Good job on follow up. Purchased new car at Vernon Kia in April of 2020, but they were unwilling to match price. Vernon Kia seemed bitter about not selling the car as they did not want to return my drivers licence after meeting with sales manager. Left message with Vernon Kia regarding drivers license. Was not able to get answer from Vernon Kia about drivers license so had to report it lost to RCMP. My advice is go to Kia West not Vernon Kia if you are in the market for a used or new vehicle.

Had these guys install my remote start, which they botched...twice. Eventually I had to bring the vehicle to a dealership in Edmonton to fix the remote start. This dealership covered the cost as the Edmonton service manager noted the poor quality in the install. Another time I had a flat tire which took them over two weeks to get the tire in to fix it. The worst part about this was that they never even offered me a loaner car. Every time I bring my car in here they also try to upsell me. The worst kia service experience I've had of the three kias I've serviced my car at. I would avoid here if possible. I've had to update this review because they called me and asked me to when they tried to fix my remote start which worked for a day and then stopped working. Only when I brought my vehicle to Edmonton I found out what they did and have had to thusly update my review again.
We went to Kia West not knowing what family vehicle we wanted. We approached Adam (after being referred to him from a few friends), and he was very helpful. Adam asked us many questions and went over what potential vehicles would suit our needs. After discussing he then took us around the dealership and showed us the vehicles. Adam was very knowledgeable and did not pressure us in any way which made the process seamless. We became very interested in the Telluride and asked Adam of the sale deals going on, and he went over everything with us. After speaking to Adam he introduced us to Noah (the sales manager) who then went through things in further detail with us and also did not put any pressure on us, and was understandable of our situation. On the day of the test drive we met Dane who is the GM and he was very kind and understanding and went above and beyond to show us the vehicle and ensure we were making the right choice. Our experience at Kia West was amazing and I would recommend them to anyone. Their whole team is super knowledgeable and very kind. Buying a car is a huge decision and having no pressure while making a big decision makes the whole process a lot easier!
You definitely have to come and see Bill at Kia West. If you don't, you're missing out. Had the opportunity to work with Bill and I have to say, he is an honest, hardworking guy. I had a unique trade that took me several days of 'mulling' over and I never once felt pressured, harassed, or upsold by him. He worked his magic with sales manager Tyler (who is also awesome and as personable as Bill) to get the right vehicle the right numbers and really help me out. The extras they threw in were unexpected and a nice touch to the whole experience. Buying a vehicle can be time consuming and stressful, but he was always on the move to make sure he got the deal done properly and in a decent time frame. Excellent work ethic and the perfect amount of understanding. Thanks to the Kia West team especially Bill, Tyler, Shayne and Noah.
My husband and I have been contemplating getting a truck, he happened to take our car to KIA West in Coquitlam. The salesman there called Dane showed my husband a 2014 truck that he was kind of interested in. My husband was clear in saying that if we were going to trade in our car that the truck payments had to be a certain monthly amount, Dane said that won't be a problem at all. He then took my husband into the dealership where insurance was transferred to the truck from our KIA Soul. He said take the truck home for the weekend and by Monday we should have the financing completed and then paperwork could be signed. So monday came along, (we had to call Dane as we hadn't heard anything from him). We had no issue getting financing but was told the payments would be higher than the price we said we were willing to pay. Long story short, I called Dane and said we were no longer interested as it had been 3 weeks later and still nothing had changed. His response was" Is this your decision or your husbands?" I was really annoyed. How RUDE! I requested that he arrange for insurance to be changed back to the kia that we were no longer interested in buying the truck! I asked that we be reinbursed our down payment of $100 and the $52 transfer fee. He said fine no problem, will mail it to us. 2 weeks later still no check in sight. I called 4 times yesterday, and finally spoke with Dane to ask where our check was? His response was " i made sure it was sent, and that a $150 check is small potatoes to him". Its not a lot of money to us but it should be rightfully sent back to us. He said I will look into and call you back. Needless to say we haven't received a call and doubt we will get a check either. Have to say this is by far the worst experience with a car sales man we have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I am really disappointed. My mother in law and sister in law have KIA cars which they take to this dealership to be serviced. I can guarantee they have lost our business as well as theirs thanks to your lousy salesman Dane! Ps - We bought a brand new truck last weekend from a reputable dealership and had no problems at all getting the monthly payments we wanted. The insurance dept at this dealership said that Kia messed up our insurance policy badly when transferring the paperwork for our KIA back to our names. Also mentioned that Kia should have put a permit on the truck not made my husband transfer the insurance to the truck we hadn't yet bought from them. This is ILLEGAL. I will be informing VSA (Vehicle Safety Authority of BC) and reporting KIA WEST. BUYER BEWARE!!!
!! ~Exceptional Customer Service~!! I generally really dislike used car shopping and even more so from dealerships. In the past I have had multiple bad experiences however thanks to Chris, Brian and the team at Kia West this was one of the best I could have asked for. Not only would i recommend them but i will certainly return in the future. There was nothing high pressure about them, they truly cared about my situation, my budget and the happiness and safety i'd feel driving a vehicle from them off their lot. Bought the Kia Forte Ex from Kia west and had a great experience! Marco (sales) is such a good guy, he follows up, and searched for the best deal we could get with our budget. Cory (sales manager) was super cool, calm, and collected! I recommend dealing with these two if you want to come and look at Kia’s. Had just recently got my servicing done at the Kia west location and Joe in parts is a stud. Guy explains and takes the time needed for me to understand. Devon the shuttle driver: such a sick dude, guy is very natural in conversation, and made the shuttle ride home a nice one. My experiences have been few (this far) but very quality indeed. I’m pleasantly surprised with the customer service I received from Kia West. They’ve been amazing on all fronts! From the first visit to the car pick up I dealt with an amazing team: Noah - sales manager - He was genuine and accommodating from the start of the negotiation. I went in on a mission and I wasn’t the easiest to deal with but both Noah and Marco (below) made sure to make my experience a positive and a pleasurable one! I had such a fantastic experience with Kia West! I came in with so many questions/inquiries regarding purchasing my first vehicle and I received all the information I was in search for. One particular member of staff by the name of Jas, is amazing. I have a particular taste in vehicles and she helped me look for the most efficient cars along with the best deals financially. She gave me all the important details from financing, car qualities, plans, etc etc. She was also very personable and extremely polite. She was flexible with her time and would go beyond just standard customer service. Jas made my first experience buying a car the very best and I can’t thank her and other members of staff enough for all the help.

During my overall time spent here for the purchasing of my vehicle, I really felt that Kia West knew how to support their customers. For most people, buying a car is not an easy process, but right from the beginning Raghav went out of his way to listen to me and work with me towards something I would be happy with. Despite the car market being the mess it is right now, Raghav and sales managers Joel and Tyler were extremely understanding and did everything they could to make sure I was happy. I was also extremely grateful to Shayne in Financing for his wonderfully thorough explanations during the buying process, and for his limitless patience during my questions. The Kia team was very helpful without making me feel pressured :) There's a chill lounge area with a big tv where my friend hung out comfortably while waiting for me. They let me spend a TON of time in the vehicle in the showroom just getting a feel for it before I went in to the friendly finance guy Tony who was incredibly flexible in meeting my needs AND getting me into a KIA. Kia West is not transparent with their vehicles regardless of new or used. The prices are not readily available and must contact them just to find out. Why would they do that? Are they playing the pricing game? Do they just want someone to talk to? Other reputable big dealerships have their prices set out for everyone to see and its up to the customers if they want it or not without having to waste each other's time. *In response to the owner: All vehicle pricing will always be negotiable. Nobody buys a vehicle at the sticker price, unless they are confident. Customers will never know if they can even afford the vehicle they want hence phone call. Your phones will ring just to answer their curiosity and not guarantee a sale.

I went into Kia West and asked if they could fit me and was thinking I would be here for hours but surprisingly they got me in right away. I am very grateful for their quick, efficient service and will recommend them to all my local clients!
Great group of people.. I didn't feel like i was being rushed or pressured to buy.. I looked at the kia website for their current line-up and used the build and price feature to help me pick out a car. I went to the dealership looking for a specific model and trim. While they did have it, when i saw the price, i thought it was a significant jump from the price i was given on the build and price feature. Richard explained the pricing difference but I told him that I wanted to look at other models. He gave me time to walk around and check out other cars then he came back to talk to me. We talked about how much i was looking at spending for payments and he asked me..if he could get me a great deal on the car that i was looking for and that would fit my budget.. Would i be willing to look at that car.. I said yes. He introduced me to Dusty and they showed me one of their demo cars in the garage. Dusty said that he customized the car to demo it and show it off..meaning it was loaded and it was great. We went for a test drive and i loved the car. We came back and talked about the price and got the papers going. I met Tony in the financing department and he worked out the financing for me. I had to come back the next day to finalize the financing. He genuinely felt happy that he got me a better than average rate. The price jumped up a bit but i still got the car. Got my car in June. Was told I'd be getting a 500 dollar gas card....signed up for it online and never received anything. Also my car has the worst rattle in the dash. Had it looked at once couldnt find anything. Wanted to have it looked at again but had no loaner car for me as they would have to take my car over the weekend. Cancelled appointment. Will make another one soon as it gets worse and it's a brand new car.
Went in and saw Kim who financed two maintenance packages for us . One for my son and other for wife and I today . Would recommend Kim for your car financing needs . Very professional.
I’m giving a 5 star review on my recent purchase experience overall but please read this review in full if you are considering being a Kia West client as there was one part of the experience that was less than satisfactory. My sister recommended one of the auto sales reps, Shay, from this location and it was a pleasure to buy my first vehicle from him and Kia West! The process was straightforward and all my questions and concerns were answered and I definitely didn’t feel pressured to buy unless I wanted to. I purchased a 2021 Kia Forte LX in black, and purchased the extended warranty for an extra 2 years so my vehicle will be under warranty for 7 years. Kia was able to get me financed without a co-sign even thought I was fairly certain I would need one and even brought my co signer along. My experience buying the vehicle, insuring the vehicle with their rep the day of purchase and my experience since then with the parts department absolutely deserves 5 stars. I’m very happy with the service I received regarding the initial purchase, the insurance the day of purchase and since then dealing with Jeremy and Adam at the service department. Here is the part of my experience that was definitely frustrating. The day I purchased the car the insurance broker was helpful and explained all my options regarding my ICBC insurance, and discussed vehicle replacement insurance with me, I declined the extra replacement insurance and decided to look into the different policies offered by different insurers both ICBC and private before making a decision. When I decided to go back in to discuss the replacement insurance further the broker I dealt with originally was not working that day, so I dealt with a different broker. I asked some questions and got a quote for 2 different companies. I was given a verbal quote for replacement insurance for just under 70$ per month- I was told that this replacement insurance would be valid for 7 years, and that the monthly instalments would be for 24 months and the entire policy would be paid off in 2 years but coverage would last for 7. I made sure to confirm again that the instalment term would be 24 months- the answer was yes so I considered the total cost based on that and decided to proceed. I am a person who’s word is worth it’s weight in gold, so being an honest person I expect others to be professional, upfront snd truthful also. Now, I of course realize it’s my responsibility to read what I sign, and trust me when I say I have now fully learned that how important that is. The actual instalment payment term on the contract was 47 months- one month shy of double the length I was told twice, and just short of double the cost- I also did not realize that this payment for the replacement insurance was being financed by a different company aside from the insurer, with an interest rate attached making the total cost even higher. Never during the conversation was a finance company mentioned nor was the option to pay the full amount up front so that there would be no finance agreement or interest. I am extremely disappointed in the broker for telling me one thing and having me sign something very different, and in myself for not being more proactive, careful and cautious. I have reached out to both the insurer, who allowed me to cancel the insurance and were most helpful and understanding, and I have also reached out to the finance company and have spoken with a team member who has assured me she will do her best to rescind the finance agreement without penalties however it has not been confirmed yet as I write this. If there is a penalty I suppose it will be a hard and expensive lesson learned. What happened does not reflect on the insurer or the finance company, but it does reflect on the broker for being what I find to be grossly misleading. So, long story short, always read the paperwork and don’t rely on what has been told to you verbally, especially when it comes to extra insurance that has been offered to you.

Specially the salesperson AHMET BULUT ( AB ) the Turkish guy gave the best service not until he sells the car but also after. His only concern is to make the customer happy. Note : following review is solely about the dealership! I bought a car from them a few years ago, and was incredibly dissatisfied with it. Horrendous has mileage etc. Jordan the manager and a man called Andrew in the service department went WAY above and beyond making it right. I was so very impressed with the patience and hard work. I absolutely do, and have, strongly recommended this company to others. It's not common these days to find a chimpanzee actually willing to stand behind their products!

Very patient in listening and excellently skilled for sales. Stress free process the finance guy Corey was a bonus to the addition of the amazing service . Ended up buying a car in about a hour. We bought a vehicle from these guys a year ago. We had it in writing that they would fix anything wrong with it prior to purchase because it was a new vehicle on the lot and had not yet gone through inspection. After 6 weeks of back and forth we were told the vehicle was in perfect working order and good to take home. Shortly after we were appalled to discover our vehicle had not been properly fixed .Since then we have had to put $1100 dollars into it and it still isn't fixed. Our mechanic is telling us it will be at least that much more to get it into decent running order. Now we're stuck trying to come to terms with why after only a year of owning this vehicle we are having to put so much money into it after buying from what was supposed to be such a reputable company. It was our first vehicle and we felt proud to buy. But we were rushed to sign papers and moved along only to find out we had been duped.
The second I walked through the door with my wife and child I was greeted warmly by Jenn. (Good She is the best by the way. Genuinely warm, super friendly, with a winning proportionality) I explained what I needed along with what I could afford and she presented me with a beautiful Sorrento. A couple days of driving it I had a concern so I brought it back in. The whole team treated my concerns with the utmost care and consideration and made sure everything was to my satisfaction even lending me a car so they could address the situation right away. I recommend Kia west to anyone seeking a vehicle. There you will be treated like a member of the family and not just pushed through like cattle. I recommend you seek Jenn. Thank you Kia west.

I have been coming back to Kia West for regular services for almost two years, but my last service appointment was so great I had to say something about it! I should start with saying the reason I am not giving this 5/5 is because while I was waiting, I was unimpressed with the lack of professionalism of the sales staff I saw in not wearing their masks properly inside the building. For clarity, I never interacted with any of the sales staff, but saw plenty of them going back and forth in the 2+ hours I was there. Now, what REALLY is 5/5 (and higher if I could give a better score) is the experience provided by Joe Mello in the service department. Joe is the most knowledgeable and reasonable service representative I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. It was very obvious to me that other service reps were just out to make money by advising 100% of the required work be done ASAP, but Joe was very thorough in explaining every service item to me, the timeline of when these items were needed, and discussed a schedule of what was most critical to do first, second, third, etc. That kind of honest service creates loyal customers - me being one of them. There is no doubt that the only service rep I will be dealing with in the future is Joe.
First time I went at KIA west and I was not disappointed. I went so many dealerships over the years to be honest it is one best dealership I have ever seen. I had intended on writing this review almost a year ago when I got my vehicle, but am just finding the space to do it now. The sales staff and managers at this branch were very professional and listened well to what I wanted. They were also quick to reply to my inquiries! There were a few miscommunication initially as I dealt with more than one sales person but all of that was made up for by the service from Jenny Elizian (sales consultant) and Patrick Namuco (sales manager). Jenny followed up with all the services and the deal for my car and was on top of of everything. There were some issues with my car as well and Jenny fixed the problem almost immediately! I would definitely come back to this dealership even if they're an hour away from where I live.
Drove here today to come take a look at a potential new SUV purchase. The second I pulled in, a sales guy immediately came out the main entrance and slowly followed me behind my car to the designated customer parking. As I turned off the engine he just stood a few feet behind my car and pulled out his pen and notepad. I’ve purchased a few new cars over the years and i have never seen such aggressiveness. I sat in my car for a few minutes to soak in the ‘used car salesman’ desperation. Is this really happening?? I know how this encounter is going to go. I turned on my car, backed out and left the dealership. As I drove away, he walks back into the dealership watching the potential sale leave. Kia needs to take note of how other dealerships handle customers. When your sales guy stalks a customer it is a direct reflection of what you see the customer as and who’s interest your in. Now I am seriously contemplating my 2nd brand choice for a new car.
Outstanding service was provided when I went in to purchase my stinger from the team. They took their time, walked me through every detail of the cars, let me test out the vehicles on my list and catered to all of my needs. When it came to discussing the numbers as well, they were very fair and allowed me to take my time on making my decision. Kudos to the team for their service, I’ve gone to too many dealerships where they only cared about the sale.

Had to change the battery, just before the first snow storm for my car, and Kelly at service was very helpful in getting it done right. She gave me the option to choose between OEM or a generic one, and I decided to purchase an OEM. I liked it that she explained very well my options and left the decision making for me. I like getting informed decisions when it comes to servicing my vehicle! :)
I had done my research ahead of time and for the first time decided to try to negotiate a sale on line. Jenny was my online CSA and she was very pleasant to deal with and within a few hours we got a deal done. We went to the dealership that evening and our car was already to go. 5 starts for Ryen, Brad, and Tyler who all assisted me throughout the process. First time leasing a vehicle and the experience was overwhelming but I felt the team was thorough and comprehensive. Ryen helped me to secure the car even though I wasn't ready that day with my finances, but he worked around my schedule and I was able to drive home the car that day! I dealt with Ryan and Brad the most and both of them were personable and easy to talk to which made the whole process that much easier :)
I was referred to this dealership through a friend and was put in contact with Chris. He was professional on the phone when we first spoke and seemed very knowledgeable. When we met in person I was instantly put at ease and he made the entire process of my vehicle purchase smooth. If it weren’t for the amazing customer service and integrity Chris displayed during the time I was there, I would have gone elsewhere. I work in customer service/sales/sales management myself, so I can’t stress enough, what a great experience I had and will be recommending Chris to anyone in the market for a vehicle. Second, Robin was my finance person and I was extremely impressed at his excellent customer service and ability to get me approved without a hiccup whatsoever. Because of how easy it was to come and get a vehicle and leave the same day with it, within a reasonable amount of time, I left as a very happy and satisfied customer. Only giving this dealership 1 star based on the experience I had prior to purchasing my vehicle, otherwise it deserves no stars. The experience I have had since driving off the lot has been horrible. I have messaged the salesman that sold me my vehicle and I will get a rude response or two, then nothing at all. Everything seemed so great and I felt like I was treated different than I have at other dealerships, but turns out they are just as unprofessional and snakey as the rest of them. Only being helpful when you’re looking into a vehicle but never helping when you have an issue afterwards. On their website they say they treat their customers like “family”, but that is definitely NOT the case. The vehicle I purchased has a keyless entry code on the drivers door. I was told that I would receive the code that came with the vehicle once they “found” it as it was apparently somewhere in their vehicle files. I was told to wait a day or two until it was found and then I would be contacted. I waited weeks to hear from them with no reply. I gave up on them and went to a different dealership to get the code but was told that I would have to pay over $100 just to access the code. I understand that it doesn’t seem like it’s a big deal and that isn’t a lot of money to be writing a review over, but I expect when I purchase a vehicle for it to come with all the things necessary and promised. This may not seem like a lot of money to complain about to the dealership, but it certainly is a lot of money for me. After that I messaged the man that sold the vehicle to me to ask for the code or to reimburse me the money to get the code from the other dealership. Which he replied very rude and disrespectfully NO. I messaged him a few times explaining the situation and never got a response. I am beyond disappointed and upset with the lack of customer service and basic caring for another person. I will be looking into trading my vehicle in at a different dealership as this one does not deserve my business. I HIGHLY recommend you don’t waste your time or money at Kia West, unless you don’t care about how you’ll be treated after your purchase.
Worst sales department I have ever seen. Bought a new 2019 Sorento with roof rack and Cargo tray package on the 19th of Nov 2019. Did all the documentations and was asked to go back the next day to go through the SUV. On second day, the Customer Service manager was not available, need to reschedule on the three day. At the same time they told us that the second key was lost. On the third day, ask the tech to remove the cargo tray which they have installed on new car delivery. Found out that the cargo tray was a defected unit with wear and scratched marks on the bottom. Brought the issue to the Customer Service Manager. left the defected unit with the Customer Service Manager. She then confirmed a new key will be ordered and will take couple of weeks. This sales department was trying to deliver defected accessories with a new vehicle. This is not acceptable. Talked to the Customer Service Manager again. She then confirmed with the General Manager that they will order a new cargo tray to replace the defected unit. One month later no respond from the dealer. On 1st of Jan 2020, email the Customer Service Manager to follow up with the cargo tray. Call her again on the 3rd and was told that the new cargo tray has arrived during the holiday, ready for pick up. When to the dealer this morning for the new cargo tray. The Parts department pulled out an used unit and told me that there was not a new cargo tray ordered on my file. This is not acceptable. There is no customer service at all. I have left my contact with the GM since he and the Customer Service are off on Saturday. This case is still pending.
Another good experience. Fei Yue Wang provided very good service throughout the process of trading in my vehicle. He was polite, patient, not pushy, and answered all of my questions.

While waiting for work being done on my car. I overheard a staff member tricking an elderly woman into getting a few hundred worth of "repairs". Like belt that needed to be replaced due to discoloration, somthing that is no indicator of wear or tear.
Kia West was good to work with overall. Jules was my salesman - he was great to work with. Always personable, prompt, and willing to handle any requests or questions I had. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a car from here. I worked with Corey for the financing; he was also great to work with. Very informative and made the process as easy and painless as possible. With this time of year and situations with the pandemic, it was understandably hectic. The team I worked with at Kia West was usually up front about this and appeared to make their best efforts despite the circumstances.
Kia west was amazing. Raghav my sales person went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of at all times. The service department(mainly stay) provided estelar customer service! I couldn’t be happier!!! I walked away with a new car and winter tires and didn’t have to spend so much time like in previous experiences. I am deeply touched by the amount of care and concern they have for their customers. I 100% recommend this location. They will treat you well and find exactly what you need! I had the most amazing service and experience last night when picking up my new 2022 Ghost Grey Kia Sorento (which by the way is gorgeous!) Upon arrival I met Jonas for the first time and he was so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable showing me my new vehicle for the first time. I want to send a special shout out to Noah who was fantastic right from the start of the process(Sept 2021) beginning with my trade in giving me great value back, keeping me updated on the status of my new one and giving me a great deal with all the finishing touches on my new Sorento. Shayne in finance was awesome and like last time he ensured I got what made me happy. Tricia as always has the best phone etiquette, and Joe in insurance was great! I really did and still do have a smile from ear to ear. I would recommend Kia West and this team of champs over and over again!
We purchased a used vehicle here in March. The sales process was smooth and efficient. Unfortunately a few months after purchasing the vehicle it had some issues. At the end of the day Kia stepped up to the plate to help out out with the situation. I will be looking for a new vehicle for myself in the next couple of months and Kia West will be definitely be my first stop!

For a dealership that seems to place such a high priority on customer service and meeting a customer’s needs, Kia West disappoints miserably. Like many others who have posted reviews, I was welcomed when my daughter’s first car was leased at Kia West 5 years ago, and she had had decently positive experiences when going in for service appointments. But that was 5 years ago. Recently, the experiences with the Kia West Service department have been absolutely terrible. After booking a service appointment almost 2 weeks in advance for an oil change and changeover to winter tires in December 2016, my daughter waited at the dealership for close to 4 hours with no updates and no offer for a ride at any time. We completely understand that it gets busy during winter (especially with the winter that BC experienced last year), but the appointment was made WELL IN ADVANCE and the winter tires were stored at the dealership on rims. An oil change and winter tire installment should not have taken 4 hours to do. When a phone call was made to complain about the lack of customer service and the ridiculous wait time, we were informed by the service manager Dan that my daughter essentially was lying because she was offered a ride and didn’t take it, and that we needed to understand that it was a really busy time. As appalling as this response was from the service manager, the general sales manager Mo ended up calling and wondering what he could do to rectify the situation. The resolution was that when we came in next, we would be given a courtesy car from Mo right away while my daughter’s car was being worked on. Fast forward to booking the next appointment, I spoke to Jody and informed her of what we were promised. When my daughter and I showed up to Kia, there was no courtesy car and Jody, who I had spoken on the phone, had no recollection of the appointment. Her excuse was that she speaks to many people each day and it’s hard to keep track of each conversation. When we asked about the courtesy car and the service representative at the desk called Mo, we could clearly hear Mo on the phone saying that there was no car promised for us but to just give it to us anyway. From that day on, we decided to never go back to Kia; we purchased the car a few months ago after leasing it for some time and my daughter went to collect the winter tires that were still stored at the dealership. My daughter then went to have her winter tires put on at Kal Tire, and the workers immediately saw that one of the tires was different from the other three. So after vowing to never go back to Kia again, back we went. After phone calls explaining the situation to Ray and asking for updates since the infamous service department apparently didn’t have the time of day to call us back even once, they finally found the missing tire after “searching through bins with thousands of tires” for 2 days. We speculated that this mix-up occurred during my daughter’s 4-hour wait mentioned above in which there was never any admittance of the lost tire. We went to Kia, got the proper tire put on, and went on our way. Now, I would be willing to forgive any wrongdoings and move on from these bad experiences, but the fact of the matter is there was NEVER ANY APOLOGY from a manager or even any ACKNOWLEDGEMENT of THEIR COMPLETE NEGLIGENCE while we were at the service department. One of the service representatives was nice enough, but that just doesn’t cut it. You can’t fix bad experiences like this with a “complimentary car wash” or superficial interactions with customers. You put your trust in these people to take care of your car, and they end up being blatantly dishonest and disrespectful. All you will ever get from Kia West are empty promises and extremely poor customer service. Frankly, it’s embarrassing that they boast of their “award winning” service.
I bought a used car from Kia West back in June and although it had a few minor issues at first, Dane and Noah went above and beyond to ensure that all of my concerns were addressed. By the time all of the issues were fixed, Kia West spent close to $1,000 in repairs out of their own pocket. I can confirm what others are saying in that the management of this dealership truly cares about their customers. I will definitely come back to Kia West when I purchase my next vehicle.
Pretty bad customer service IMO. I wanted to lease/finance a vehicle, but when it came to getting back to me after I had already given them proof of my credit, etc. they never contacted me. I tried to call them non-stop and I would always get transferred to a voicemail because for some reason nobody likes to answer their phones. I get that it may be busy, but when I call 8 times and I get transferred to different people and nobody answer it seems that I am getting ignored. Not to mention, that I had the reception write my name down so the staff could get back and what do you know? They DIDN’T. So I went in, and they treated me like I was a king; everybody was willing to help, but I knew deep down that they were fake. I really want a KIA, but I will happily go to another dealership that treats customers how they should be treated.

Kia West claims to honor what they promise yet I purchased a vehicle 3 months ago with a faulty window switch, they said it was fixed twice, it was NOT, still broken. Now they won't answer me, not very professional Kia. I have all texts and emails making these "promises " , beware of faulty promises!! Have reached a solution with Ray from service department, , I would give the service department 4 stars, the 2 stars is for sales department

Honestly, it wasn't so bad except that the sales manager Noah was shady AF. He told obvious lies several times and I honestly don't think he was even cognizant of the fact that he was doing it. Told me that the car was on the lot, that he was looking at it with my name on it. Then texted that it wasn't there and he didn't know how long it would be. He arbitrarily added $1,250 to the cost without mentioning it in the hopes that I wouldn't notice. Then he told me that the dealer pays the msrp and the mark up is the only way they make money. I just went on carcostcanada and pulled up his cost... It's no wonder people love the tesla sales model. Sales guys are shady.
Beware of what you do and pay attention to what you are doing with them, if you have someone with lot of experience that would be great, because some people here is very dishonest. Some people's are nice but again some aren't. I guess thats how it is with the sale industries.
Had an excellent experience with Kia West. Talked to a salesman called Philip via Facebook for some time before coming in to see him in store. This one is for the parts department. You see I had ordered a windshield at another dealer on the weekend. My customer unfortunately got their windshield hit by a rock on Friday night. I ordered it from my go to local dealer on Saturday. It was in town, local but I wouldn't see it until Tuesday. We gave them a Purchase Order number and did this by email as well. Come Tuesday I phoned my dealer and by the sounds of it, they forgot to order it! And to top it off, I wouldn't see it until Wednesday! Why such a rush? This customer has a wedding on the go and the car is needed for the wedding party and for picking people up at the airport! In a panic I called KIA West and although they didn't have it, they went to the warehouse especially for us so we could get this done, amazing, simply amazing. Charlie Sallstrom, the parts manager saved the day and our reputation. Thank you KIA West!

Employees have an impressive positive attitude and energy. These ladies and gentlemen do try very hard to please their customers. I felt pressured to make decisions quickly in order to get the sale complete. But I did drive away in my new car happy. I think everyone including the general manger were great. All a happy bunch, I would recommend to buy from these guys.
I came in from out of town to visit family and I ran into some vehicle problems. I was heading back home and my car wouldnt start the day I was leaving. I went into Kia West because I have family members that referred me there, thinking that because it was last minute I would not get an appointment, Not only did they listen to my sobs and frustration, they fit me in right away and got me on the road surprisingly quick. I am very impressed with the Service Department they literally went above and beyond for me!
Put $2000 deposit on vehicle they would bring in from another dealer. 3 days later I got a call from salesman Jason saying it had been sold and could I give him another day to find a similar vehicle. The next day I finally called him twice and needed to ask for manager second time. Manager Jordan said he would check and get back to me in 5 minutes. I got call from receptionist to take my credit card number for a refund that I would get back in a few days. They didn’t even have the balls to call me themselves to explain why it took them 4 days to notify me and apologize for keeping my money for a week and providing nothing in return. Not a dealership I would ever recommend!
Buying our first car at Kia west turned out to be so much fun! Let me start off by saying how impressed we were with the service from sales associate Jenny and sales manager Patrick. These two will go to work for you, and won't give up until you are happy with a fair price. It was more than just purchasing a vehicle. We were in and out within an hour, and happy that they had xbox, golf and a ping pong table for the kids while we did our paperwork so everything ran smooth with no worries. Everyone at this dealership works so hard, and they made sure our family had the best experience!! We are glad to be apart of the Kia family now. I've made inquiries to several Kia dealerships for a potential purchase, and by far, Jenny Eliazian was the most helpful and honest dealer I've dealt with. This is my first time buying a car and I wasn't sure what to expect as I heard so many horror stories about car dealerships, but Jenny made the process much less stressful than I expected. She was very prompt and on-the-ball, making the process hassle-free. She was also extremely understanding and friendly. Excellent staff, friendly fun environment! Was in on the weekend and had a great time with the BBQ they had going on as well as the live music. Makes for a fun car shopping experience. Ended up buying a used Kia Forte being it was more within my budget but the process went smooth and the staff were so helpful and not pushy at all! Highly recommend them!

Andy Lo and I were in contact for about 5 weeks back and forth after I got into a no fault accident since I bought my Kia Stinger from Kia West in June 2020. We decided to get another car from a different dealership as the main car for myself but also wanted to take advantage of the total loss warranty I had with Kia West. Andy picked a car for my girlfriend and I that fit the price within the warranty. He had the car on hold for us for a bit till we had time to drive out to pick up the car. Great communication and made the process quick and easy. Thanks to all the guys at Kia West and Shanye from finance that helped us through this long process since my accident. Since the recent retirement of my colleague I have been working with Kia West for the past several months. I am very impressed with how they conduct business. Great leadership team to work with from owner Mark Anhert down to the management team and the sale staff. Always conduct themselves in a professional manner and pleasure to deal with. On all my visits to the store I have noticed that the staff is very friendly and polite and always see the same folks on the floor, which tells me there is little or no turn over of staff and that leads me to believe they are happy to work here and being treated well. A place that I highly recommend to do business or to buy your next car.
Outstanding customer service! I purchased a new Sportage from Kia West and noticed a few issues after getting some accessories installed through the dealership. The customer service manager, Austin, was exceptional in dealing with my issues. He kept me informed every step of the way and was always prompt in answering my questions. He worked tirelessly to make certain that my issues were resolved and that I was 100% satisfied. If you’re in the market for a car, stop by Kia West and ask to speak with Austin, you won’t regret it!
Henry was great and very helpful, we did not end up purchasing a vehicle here in the end, but I would have been happy to purchase from him if they had the proper vehicle in their inventory. I was appalled with the lack of staff wearing masks inside of their building today(Aug. 27, 2021) when it is mandated in our province. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable, and I wanted to get out of there as soon as I could.
I had a great experience at KIA West. The Sportage I wanted was available at a great lease rate. From sales and financing to licensing, every one was friendly and helpful. Silva even returned my rental car for me!
Visited to trade my Camaro. Wow such a cheerful staff. Met the Guy Raghav and He definitely know what he is doing. Treated me as his own customer. Even though Deal didn't went through but definitely will buy next car from him and from this dealership.
Do not get your car serviced here at any cost. First they overbook their schedule, so expect 1-2 hours for a simple oil change that should take no longer than 20 min at any other shops. Doesn't matter how advance you book your appointment. Second, they treat you as if you're unintelligible, and refuses to provide details of servicing when requested. When asked for specifics, responds with "don't worry we got you covered." Third, expect to hear a lot of upselling for unnecessary services that would magically make your car run better. Unsuspecting customers with not a lot of car knowledge would be victims here. This type of behavior isn't unique to Kia dealerships, but one of many why you should never service your car at dealerships.
Great place to buy a car. The sales people and financial managers are all very helpful. They helped me alot with the price and other stuff. You should definately go there first if you want to buy a car.
Kali is absolutely amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure I felt good about my purchase and experience at Kia West. My experience with Kia West was great. I bought a used car which was probably one of their least expensive cars on the lot but was I treated as though i was buying their most expensive new car. I had several complicating factors surrounding my purchase (I purchased from 700 km away), but everything from the test drive by a family member to the final transfer to my daughter was smooth and problem free with top notch customer service from Chris and Jason in the internet department. I got what i feel is a great price, and i wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Great overall experience!

I had an awful experience in Kia west coquitlam. They put you under pressure to make a deal right away. Associate and sales manager (Noah palani) talked down to me as a customer and think they can take advantage. From the moment that sales manager met us ,he had the worst attitude and came up with the most ridiculous offer to buy my car. He doesn't know anything about respect and customer service. I strongly suggest Kia west finds and invests in better sales associates (not pushy) and SALES MANAGERS (not talk down to customers). I would never go back and I would not suggest anyone to go there.
This Kia dealership is the worst dealership on earth. They have so bad service that will make you burn in anger and they have the most stupid employees on earth. I called in to check on my car repair and I asked how long it would take. So they can just look it up up that moment but they just said they would call me back. So I said sure. Two hours later they still didn't call so I called them back and waited until they answred my question. A few weeks later I went in for a oil change and it took 2 and a half hours just for a damn oil change. The appoimtment was for 12:30 but they started a t 1:30. They just messed up my while day cause I had plans. I recommend thinking a lot before buying from this dealership.
