I had such a great experience at Volkswagen. After many many times being harassed by other dealers who continuously checked my credit without consent, or countless times being brought cars that either weren’t for me or WAY out of budget, less than an hour spent with Eric, he put me in the right vehicle for me, and I’m just one day 2 of the ladies in finance worked out a deal I could reasonably afford. It was looking rough for a minute because of prior inquires I almost couldn’t get a deal without sky rocketed interest and then a few hours later, was called and told they gave me the same interest I already have, tacked in extra warranty and had me totally approved ???? thank you so much Volkswagen Moncton for finally getting me into a vehicle I can love and appreciate !

I do not recommend this dealership. Go out of town if you have to. This dealership has sold me a brand new car that had an aftermarket windshield that was very poorly installed. The sales person didn't disclose this information. This has caused a lot of issues. VW has denied warranty claims because of it, even after the dealership admitted to replacing the windshield with an aftermarket one. I've had moisture issues for years because of the poor installation. They have refused to own up to their mistake and cover the cost of replacing the windshield, which recently cracked (the technician informed me that poor installation can make a windshield more susceptible to cracking). The GM has made it abundantly clear that he has no interest in helping me because "I've been driving the car for a few years". VW has also refused to cover my exploded rear window their own technicians examined and determined that it was due to a manufacturing defect. This set me back about $700. I just want VW Moncton to pay for my windshield to be replaced with an OEM one and for my rear window with the manufacturing defect that the warranty didn't cover. I've sent an email to CBC Investigates; next on my list is the Times & Transcript and whatever other newspaper is willing to hear the story of how I got ripped off by VW Moncton. I've also submitted a report to the New Brunswick Financial and Consumer Service.

One year after. 2000km later. Bought the car here with fresh inspection. 2000km later came for inspection and got charged 96$. The bulb was never replaced. The cap was as dusty as it was. Nobody ever even touched it. THe bulb brang wa the same that was installed by TOyota Center. so no surprise that the bulb was not replaced. Tried to call the dealership and file a complain, the lady yelled at me and trasnferred the call without my confirmation. Also talked to Evan Habrook (sevice manager), was invited to the dealership to solve the problem. After proving me my point, still no solution and NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY. Accusing me in lying. So now, 50 dollars additional charge multiplied by 100 customers a day, comes out 5000 dollars a day, not a bad business. So stay away from the service center of VW. Sales team is great, but service is the worst I met in VW dealerships around the world. Also tried to write Benoit Boudreau fr the solution, but got no reply yet. And i think I would never get one... SO just stay away from this dealership. And if you are in , always check the invoice BEFORE the job, you might be surprised by extra charges, which could be 200% of the initial one. Scammers....

The first thing I want to say is that these staff are really the best. Ever since I immigrated to Canada, I have searched many cars, but I have never satisfied myself as much as these people. The second thing, what can I compare the driving of this car? Feeling to meet my really close friend in a long time? In a word, "I am rather pleased to wait". The reason why this wait is pleasant is that I trust him because he really knows me among many people. This car is for me. GTI driving is amazing every time!

I love, love, LOVE the automobile. The service done on my vehicle is great but I find myself consistently waiting longer than needed or originally quoted for repairs, service and maintenance. They set a precedent on service price for years but all of a sudden decide that they weren’t doing what was agreed anymore. I went to Miramichi VW instead and they happily took care of me with a smile. Now for some advice VW Moncton, if you truly value customers feedback to get your 5 stars, maybe you should try to avoid problems with your customers.

I've only ever owned Volkswagen cars. This dealerships lack of tact and accountability has made me run for the hills. The service department is NOT to be trusted. They wanted to charge me $1700 for work in order to pass inspection. I went to an independent mechanic and the repairs cost less than $400. Not the first time this type of thing has happened at this dealership. If you asked me what I thought of the old Dieppe Auto 10 years ago, I'd have given them 5*. Plain and simple, I don't trust them anymore.

The most shameful experience ever. After finding a vehicle that I was interested in I asked about having the engine bay cleaned . The request was denied. The dealership didn't have anyone with the experience to clean an engine bay as they didn't want to damage the engine in any way. OK? Next I asked if there was a cash discount to which I was told that actually I would have to pay $700 more as the price included a financing discount. After making the decision to buy I went with the financing to save the $700. A couple days later I’m at the dealership going through the sales invoice and there were 2 fees on the invoice I questioned Zach about. The first were the PPSA fees that were $160. I asked Zach why these fees were so much higher than the fee schedule specified at service NB. I was told that’s what the bank charged nothing to do with the dealership. Didn’t really know if that was accurate so I agreed to the fee. The second fee was an etching fee. I asked why I was being charged this fee and that’s where everything went south. I was told that everyone pays this fee to which I replied these fees were not correct and I shouldn't have to pay them. After going back and forth I relented and agreed to pay this fee as the wheel lugs on the vehicle were rusted and they agreed to replace them so I figured it was a wash. Deal done...OH NO Now this is where it gets really shameful. Here comes the finance guy. Once I sit down in his office. I bring up the etching fee and tell him that I really don’t appreciate the fees the dealership has added. He immediately goes into pushy mode insisting I have to pay for this, he’s been in this business for 10 years and all dealerships make the buyer pay. “Someone has to pay the people that do this job”. At this point I remind him I already agreed to pay but we both know this fee wasn't appropriate so really I shouldn’t have to pay for it. The finance guy was not stopping making some ridiculous analogy that if I bought fries and ordered a side of gravy I would have to pay for it. Hmmm not if I didn’t order it I said to which he just kept pushing you have to pay these fees. I left his office really angered by that interaction and when I got back to work I sent a message advising I was canceling the sale as his finance guy was really pushy and I wasn’t going to deal with them due to this guy’s inability to just show a bit of empathy and close the deal, he couldn’t put his ego aside for a minute to close the deal instead he kept pushing me into why I had to pay this etching fee. So shame on Volkswagen for pushing these inappropriate fees on consumers. Vehicles are expensive enough! Secondly, shame on Volkswagen for using pushy tactics to push these fees on buyers. This is just a money grab. SHAMEFUL Moncton Volkswagen

This dealer serviced our VW and left parts out and installed broken parts and allowed the car leave the dealer . It was only several weeks later that we had problems when in another province and VW Moncton covered the cost of the repairs to the faulty repairs. We asked for reimbursement of the original repair and service manager declined. We where without our car for a month. For their incompetence, it would be customary to refund a customer for a mistake of this caliber. Our safety was compromised and lucky that further damage has not occurred as a result. "Steering wheel lock solenoid was left out and ignition tumbler was installed with electrical contacts that where broken off". I made a complaint to VW Canada . (PENDING FINAL ANSWER) Our experience has left us with the opinion that I cannot recommend anyone to this dealer for any kind of out of pocket repairs as the so called Master Mechanic there is not qualified . The Service manager told us that the work on our car was done by their "MASTER MECHANIC". Therefore admitting that the mechanic is their best !!! I even emailed the Manager of this dealer and did not receive any response.

AVOID MONCTON VW as much as possible. Back in July I brought in my two month old jetta because the fan stopped blowing air. After two days, they finally fixed the vehicle, but told me there was going to be a charge because I had installed a dash cam. That charge turned out to be just over $750. I argued with them for some time, but ultimately paid them and left. As I got into the car in the parking lot, the fan was still not working. Went back in, and they claimed it was a quick programming error and fixed it again. They had unplugged the dash cam when they first started working on the vehicle, before the parts were replaced. Two days later, car stopped working again. Dash cam was never reinstalled. This time however the blower started working again on it's own. Fast forward three months, and once again it stops working. I took the car in to Miramichi VW instead, and after two hours, they called me to say it was all fixed. As it turned out, there was a loose ground from the factory that Moncton missed. Miramichi suggested I go get a refund, as the work that was done by Moncton should never have been done, so I went in to Moncton to discuss the issue, and after two weeks, they called me back to say there was nothing they would do. They said that it was still their opinion that the dash cam caused the problem, despite it breaking three times after their "fix", and having another master tech say otherwise.

(Translated) On November 13, my spouse and I went to Volkswagen in Dieppe to buy a new car, in particular a Jetta. We were received by Kevin who showed us several cars. Then we tried one: trendline +. We liked it. However, we wanted more options in the car. Inside, we chatted again with Kevin who explained the difference between the model we tested and the Wolfsburg. We then opted for the latter. Unfortunately, they only had one Wolfsburg model and it was green. Kevin then told us about a blue model present in Nova Scotia that he could send to Dieppe. He presented the numbers to us and we also discussed them with Rachel. We then agreed to have the car transported to Dieppe. On November 17, we arrived to finalize with Kevin. As usual welcomed us. We discussed the last things. He presented us with the car warranty documents. They even managed to get the winter tires put on because he doubted it could be done today. One of the options we discussed was the remote starter. He had already informed us that the one would only be installed next week, given the time delay. Kevin even placed a liner in our suitcase for free. We were very happy, without even having seen the car. We then went to Rachel's office, nice as usual, to sign the documents. She explained everything to us and we started signing the documents. Following one of the documents, it did not mention the mileage of the car we just bought. I take this opportunity to go and ask Kevin who informs me that it was 300 km. We were surprised, because on your website, it is always mentioned that it does not exceed 90 km. We were informed that the car was driven from Nova Scotia. We then decided to go and inspect the car. We noticed that it was not very clean for a new car and that there were some scratches. Kevin let us know that it was due to a lack of time, because the car had just arrived and it will be thoroughly cleaned when we come back the following week to put the starter at a distance. We were very disappointed that he had so many kilometers for a new car. This purchase will be our 4th new car in 7 years. Kevin apologized, because he only learned this morning that the car had been driven from the NE and not carried on the truck (as we were originally told). He told us that his sales manager had made the decision. We then asked Kevin to make a move to close the deal. Stéphane walked past us and Kevin called out to him, informing him that we were not satisfied with the mileage. The latter, in the presence of Kevin and Rachel (and without even wanting to listen to our explanation), says "OK it's fine, we're going to sell sell the car to someone else." There followed a heated exchange between him and me, because we are clients and we do not deserve to be treated in this way. He was very arrogant, self-confident with no interest! The service received by Kevin and Rachel was impeccable. They listened to us (the customers) and worked hard to make us satisfied. Extremely inappropriate comments from your sales manager; Stéphane is not up to your performance. When the client feels inferior, there is a problem somewhere. We have had business with several dealers. And we have never been told if you do not accept our conditions, you can take off, because we have other customers. I very much doubt that it is a recommended practice in marketing knowing that there are several other ways of saying it. (Original) Le 13 novembre, ma conjointe et moi sommes allés chez Volkswagen à Dieppe pour l'achat d'une nouvelle voiture, en particulier une Jetta. Nous avons été reçus par Kevin qui nous a montré plusieurs voitures. Par la suite, nous en avons essayé une: trendline+. Nous l'avions bien aimé. Cependant, nous voulions plus d'options dans la voiture. À l'intérieur, nous avons discuté à nouveau avec Kevin qui nous a expliqué la différence entre le modèle que nous avons testé et le Wolfsburg. Ils avaient même réussi à faire mettre les pneus d'hiver, car il doutait que cela ne puisse se faire aujourd'hui. Une des options que nous avions discutées était le démarreur à distance. Il nous avait déjà informés que celui n'allait être installé que la semaine prochaine compte tenu du délai de temps. Kevin avait même placé, gratuitement, un "liner" dans notre valise. Nous étions très contents, sans même avoir vu la voiture. Nous sommes alors allés dans le bureau de Rachel, gentille comme à l'accoutumée, pour signer les documents. Elle nous a tout expliqué et nous avons commencé à signer les documents. Suit un des documents, il n'était pas mentionné le kilométrage de la voiture que nous venons d'acheter. J'en profite alors pour aller demander à Kevin qui m'informe que celui-ci était 300 km. Nous avons été surpris, car sur votre site web, il est tout le temps mentionné que celui-ci n'excède pas 90 km. On nous informa que la voiture a été conduite de la Nouvelle-Écosse. Nous avons alors décidé d'aller inspecter la voiture. Nous avons remarqué que celui-ci n'était pas très propre pour une voiture neuve et qu'il y avait quelques éraflures. Kevin nous fit savoir que c'était dû à un manque de temps, car la voiture venait juste d'arriver et qu'elle sera nettoyée en profondeur lorsque nous reviendrons la semaine suivante pour mettre le démarreur à distance. Nous étions très déçus qu'il ait autant de kilomètres pour une voiture neuve. Cet achat sera notre 4e voiture neuve en 7 ans. Kevin s'en excusa, car il n'a su que ce matin que la voiture avait été conduite de la NE et non transportée sur le camion (comme on nous avait dit à l'origine). Il nous indiqua que son directeur de ventes avait pris la décision. Nous avons alors demandé à Kevin qu'il fasse un geste pour que le deal soit clos. Stéphane passa devant nous et Kevin l'interpella en lui informant que nous n'étions pas satisfaits du kilométrage. Ce dernier, en présence de Kevin et Rachel (et sans même vouloir, écouter notre explication), nous lance "OK c'est beau nous allons vendre la vendre la voiture à quelqu'un d'autre." Il s'en est suivi un échange houleux entre lui et moi, car nous sommes des clients et nous ne méritons pas d'être traités de cette sorte. Il était très arrogant, sûr de lui même avec aucun intérêt! Le service reçu par Kevin et Rachel a été impeccable. Ils étaient à notre écoute (les clients) et ont travaillé fort pour que nous soyons satisfaits. Les commentaires extrêmement déplacés de votre directeur des ventes; Stéphane n’est pas à la hauteur de votre performance. Quand le client se sent inférieur, il y a un problème quelque part. Nous avons eu affaires avec plusieurs concessionnaires. Et on nous a jamais dit si vous n'acceptez pas nos conditions, vous pouvez décoller, car on a d'autres clients. Je doute très fort que c'est une pratique conseillée en marketing sachant qu'il existe plusieurs autres façons de le dire.

Had a hard time actualy getting the car.. had to drive there 4 times to finaly go home with it.. Tough that this was normal as this was my first time purchasing a new car.. When i purchased my car I was told by the sales person that they would call me to schedual for my car to get its windows tinted as it was part of the car purchase. Its been 3 months now and i called 4 times with NO answer from the sales person or the manager. I am very frustrated as i have other questions regarding my new car with no one to awnser them.. I feel like they just don't care once the car is out of the parking lot. I'm not one to complain because i work with the public myself and understand that things can get complicated but i am really disapointed. Great car! Poor service..

I bought a 2012 GTI from them in April and now the car is in Fredericton needing a new motor because the camshaft seized which is roughly 8000$ after spending 18,000 on a car I thought would be very reliable. Moncton was very rude about everything and will not do anything about it, i would never ever buy a car from them again and i would recommend anyone to stay away from them and go to the Fredericton dealership.

Was going to buy a car here a while ago, and found a number of issues with it, and they wanted to charge me a deposit to do the work. I understand that businesses don’t want to lose money, but almost all of the issues except for one should have already been fixed before selling, especially when the dealer tells you the car is in immaculate condition...Crack in the windshield, a big scuff on the side of the car, and oil all underneath the engine bay.... and came to find out that the oil wasn’t even checked! At that point I decided that losing the deposit I left (yes I still lost money for nothing and I shouldn’t have left one to start) was better than buying the car and having issues with it.Don’t make the same mistake I made. Save your time and go to Moncton Honda or Acadia Toyota

Abysmal customer service.Went into this dealership hoping to look at a Golf GTi. Was greeted by a polite receptionist and i inquired if there were any sales people available. I believe she was going to find me a sales person to talk with. Waited for a good 10 - 15 minutes and was completely ignored by the staff. The place did not appear to be busy and nobody bothered to come over. Noticed staff just talking to each other and nobody was interested in providing assistance so i left this dealership and went over to the Subaru dealership next door and purchased a new WRX. Glad i did not do business with these people!

very disappointed with your after-sale service. We bought a used car. When he tried to convince us to buy the car,he was so enthusiastic but after we bought the car, ohhhh we cannot believe how fast his attitude changes. We have no luck contacting him, he doesn't reply our emails or answers our calls although we have tried to reach him for 3 weeks. We were happy when deciding to buy a car at VW at the very beginning, but we are super regret now due to your after sale service. You guys just care about the customers before they decide to buy car, and when you already sold it, you are not responsible for it anymore? We will not recommend your service to anyone, it is a very disappointing experience. They also convinced us to buy extended warranty. It is expensive, and then if you wanna make a claim, I wish you luck because we are struggling now. We definitely made wrong decision to go with VW Moncton dealer.

We showed up at 10:15 am. The receptionist looked up but didn’t even seem it worthy to give us a smile, let alone a hello. At 10:30 after 15 minutes of looking at cars, sitting in them and reviewing our options in the showroom we had yet to have a single person approach us and ask us if we’d been helped. In fact not a single person had said hello nor made eye contact. At this point I had approached the receptionist to ask if there was a sales agent available. She said no they were helping other people but it would be a few minutes and someone would be available. By 11 am still no one, not a service agent, not the receptionist, not even a sales agent had made eye contact with us. Thats not to say the place was deserted, as in contrast it was relatively busy for a Saturday morning with people buzzing around steadily. The receptionist didn’t even bother to come talk to us and apologize for the wait, and let us know she hadn’t forgotten about us. Now I understand them being busy, but the lack of interaction even a hello is quite frankly mind boggling. Considering I had walked in and was ready to sign on the dotted line, the lack of service has certainly made me reconsider my decision to choose a Volkswagen atlas cross sport.

So far the best experience i had at a garage. Before going to Volkswagen i went to 2 other garage and the work done on my car were kind of bad. While i was waiting in the lobby for my car to be repaired, the mecanic asked me to come check a few problem with my car. Everything he told me actually made sense (because of the problem i was currently facing). I asked if i could stay in the garage with him, which he agreed to while he kept explaining me stuff (since i was interested in what he was doing). Ended up being the best Garage experience i ever had and will probably go to Volkswagen Moncton for all of my future work, even though i come from Quebec City (Yes, it's a 800 km trip, but i come 2 to 3 time a year to New Brunswick). I have a 2016 Jetta and never been that pleased at a garage. Thanks again for the awesome work and see you next year for my next appointment !

Probably the most unprofessional service as a whole that I have ever received at a dealership. So many oversights on the vehicle I purchased crack in windshield was not fixed, battery dead in key and they didn't even fill up the gas tank upon purchase. I had make all the phone calls to clear my lean as well as transfer my VW warranty on my new car. Furthermore, when I brought it to the GM's attention he in other words said he didn't care. Overall in comparison to other Volkswagen dealerships this is by far the worst service I have ever been given. Never purchase a car here. Also to add to my previous review the GM contacted me and pretty much said that's too bad without any gesture of goodwill. The service here was a complete 180 of the service I had a Bytek Volkswagen in Ottawa. It seems to me there is massive disconnect here and Volkswagen Canada should really take a look at how this dealership does things.

Sales experience: fantastic, would recommend to anyone Service experience: awful, avoid if all possible Recently went in for a simple oil change. Not only did they forget to put all the parts back that they had removed for the oil change (good thing it wasn't a critical part...but I did have to go back the next day to have it put back), they forgot to reset the oil service reminder in the instrument panel, and it took almost an hour for them to take my car into the shop after I arrived (a few minutes before my appointment time). I also got a receipt showing the mileage on my car as north of 170k km, when it's actually a little under 14k. Nothing catastrophic, clearly, but definitely a lack of attention to the details. I had had several issues with them with a previous vehicle, so phoned the service manager to discuss the problems I experienced. He apologised and said he'd speak to the relevant people about it, but I got exactly zero warm and fuzzy feelings that any cares were given in the grand scheme of things. The frontline service staff (Justin & Jolyane) are wonderful people but there seems to be a systemic problem back in the garage. Repeat visits for silly things are commonplace, at least for me. My recent sales experience at VW Moncton was fantastic, however. I was greeted promptly, was listened to, I felt like the sales person was working for me to get me what I wanted. I'll just be taking my car elsewhere for service from now on though, since I wouldn't trust their technicians to oil my bicycle chain at this point. Update from late 2019: reducing my rating to one star due to continued issues with the service department. I don't have tangible proof, but I *know* they put a couple hundred kilometres on my car when they had to outsource some work to a body shop (sunroof was leaking). Got the car back with a repaired sunroof but also dirty hand marks on the headliner, many more kilometres on the odometer and 1/4 of a tank less of gas than I recall there being when I dropped it off. Made an appointment with the service manager to discuss, he did not take me seriously. I also needed some other minor warranty work done on a subsequent visit. The service advisor mentioned that their records showed I hadn't been getting the regular maintenance (oil changes etc.) done. I said they had been, just somewhere else. I then got a stern lecture on why I should have my oil changes done here or my "warranty may be invalid". I get that regular maintenance is important (that's why I get it done) but the condescension is not appreciated. Their response to my initial review (which is everything above the "update from late 2019" line), "thank you from sales" sums up their customer service perfectly. Take and share all the compliments, and completely ignore any customer concerns. They have a new online appointment system. It sent me two confirmations for two different dates/times, neither of which were the date/time I selected when booking, so that's great. I had to speak to them by phone to find out when I was really supposed to be there. I have been to Roussel Volkswagen in Miramichi for most of my service lately, and suggest you do the same. It's worth the drive for the "treat you like a valued customer" service and their prices are better anyway. Thanks to Moncton Volkswagen, though, I have purchased my last Volkswagen and will be buying a different brand when the time comes.
