Scene; Early afternoon, Friday. My wife and I are visiting the Canadian Atlantic Maritimes for the first time, from Texas. Our F350 dually truck has developed a severe vibration. We went to the Ford Dealer in Fredericton, who told us it would be Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week before they would see us. We went to Midas, who couldn't get our truck up on their lift, but were very nice, and called around in a vain attempt to find someone who could help us. They referred us on to Canadian Tire, who were also very nice, but unable to lift our truck with their lift. They did refer us to Trius Truck Centre who were VERy friendly and accomodating. They quickly diagnosed the problem as a bad tire. We were reluctant to buy new tires there, because of problems with warranty followup...the straight-line distance back home was 2054 miles or 3304.89 Kilometers. Driving would be a lot farther. They offered us some good used tires they had just taken off another vehicle who was trading up for an excellent price;. They had enough tread to get home safely and then some. They installed and balanced the tires, and did an alignment. While we were waiting, the staff gave us many great suggestions on where to eat, and sights to see. We went on to have a wonderful time in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, thanks in no small part to the people at Trius Truck Centre. They had the equipment and the know-how to take care of our truck. I can confidently recommend them as a first choice to do work on your medium duty truck, or larger light duty truck.
