Have to say thank you to the staff of this Kia location. Unfortunately our Sportage's check engine light came on, on our very first day of driving from Ontario to a road trip of Atlantic Canada. We planned to pass through Saint Johns in a few days so made a call to the service folks to book an appointment. At the service appointment, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I feel they went above and beyond to help us out and give us advice on our situation. Unfortunately the car had some bigger issues to be addressed, but the service team was able to give us the peace of mind to finish our trip and worry about the rest later. I want to say thank you x100; we finished our trip and made it back to Ontario in one piece. Thanks for the advice and the help along the way!

I dont own a Kia, but I keep bringing my vehicle back here for service because the team is that good. Mechanics are honest and quick to let you know what actual needs to be repaired vs what can wait. The service team remembers who you are and are accommodating on pickups. The service here is so good that despite KIA never being a consideration for our next vehicle its now become part of the conversation as a result of the service team.

They swindled me in to buying a truck that they clearly new that it had faulty parts and now that I figured it out they will not follow the new Brunswick law that says you have thirty days to return a vehicle or bring it back and they repair it so becarful when buying from here you mite be the next one to be swindled

Hello, my experience at the dealership "Port City Kia" in Saint John, NB was horrible. I got a flat tire and dented rim on Thursday jan 16, and they will not fix it until January 27 which is absolutely unacceptable. The service manager and general manager which I have both spoken to on the phone have no idea what good customer service is. I have asked them several times to get me a rental car because it is not my fault that the rim cannot be repaired until the 27, but they refused, almost laughing at me because they seem to enjoy taking advantage of young employed professionals. Also, when I told the manager that I am going to voice my opinion on social media and the like, which is my right as a Canadian, he replied with "so your going to blackmail me?" That to me is absolutely sickening that he would say that. I am never one to complain or write a bad review, but the service at this place is horrible and I would recommend they go through some compassion/sympathy/ training. I recommend you go somewhere else to get your vehicle serviced, if you have no choice but to go to a Kia dealer I suggest going to a different city. I would also like to stress that I am not just an angry person with one bad experience here, everyone there I have spoken to has been rude to me, and it's just not right.

I ended up not purschaing a new vehicle but if I would have I promise it would have been a Kia from Adam. I believe it a was about 1 and a half years ago when I went into Kia. My main factors when looking for a vehicle were that it had to be pretty and I had to be able to fit dead bodies in my trunk. Adam was very pleasant and went along with my dead bodies thing. He even asked if they were NBA players or just normal sized humans and gave me some tips about stacking them. When I finally get a new vehicle it will 100% be from Port City Kia.

We had negative experiences with both sales and service at the Fredericton Kia which is why we went to Saint John. 1. Had bad experience with the shuttle service - it did not arrive as advised and I was waiting for an hour outside on cold weather. On my call them - I heard a suggestion to call a cab... 2. Another point, actually points - it turns out that they did not use my Member Rewards card for collecting points. This has to be done automatically without presenting a card, but was not. Imagine the loss if I had two vehicles serviced there. Added as reply on reply: Unfortunately I cannot reply after your reply. But this is what I want to say: why would you need my details? I would give them if I wanted to be contacted. I outlined two problems you can work on - I see them pretty clear.

Dropped in to look at vehicles with towing capacity above 5k lbs. We were greeted by a great salesman, Kevin S. He quickly acknowledged that he couldn't meet our needs. A friendly and courteous gentleman, he offered us a coffee while he set us up with a sales person at another dealership. We left there with a good feeling.

In 2013 me and my husband traded in our 2007 ford escape for a 2013 Kia Soul with a awesome sales man named Ernie( who is not there anymore). Well 5 yrs later me and hubby were gonna keep our soul but we found out if we kept the soul my payments would be around the same price if getting into a new car. So we went and talked to Kevin and he showed us 2 vehicles - 2018 blue forte and a 2019 Soul. Well me and hubby decided on the forte , which we just love. From the time I drove into kio to the time i left with my new to me vechile the experience was more than i hoped for. Joe Donelle was there to answer all my questions and help me get the vechile i fell in love with. He worked with me and did an amazing job. From the receptionist to all the other staff i meet it was a great experience. The sevice was outstanding and would recommend dropping in you wont regret it. Its a great experience.

Adam was very helpful to find the exact vehicle I wanted and Carey was very helpful with the whole buying process. And thats it. Once the sale is made if your new vehicle has problems your basically on your own, the most they seem to be able to do is apologize. Two weeks after getting my brand new 2020 Kia Sportage the AC stopped working and I've been without one almost the whole summer and it's still not fixed. No one should have to deal with problems like this with a new vehicle and I think the place you buy the vehicle from should take more responsibility when it comes to issues like this! Now 6 months later still dealing with stress from this car. Go to have my winter tires to be put on, and of course the right pieces in the little bag were not all there to unlock the wheels.
The KIA Team was exceptional today as I rolled in to get some damaged assessed. No sooner had I parked the car, the battery had completely died. To make a short story even shorter, I had a new battery within minutes and caught with some friends in the service department. Thanks for your attentiveness and kindness!!

My wife and I bought a 2020 Kia Soul rencntly from a local used car dealer. When we bought the vehicle, there was a warning light on regarding the Blind Spot Monitoring System. Not only was Port City Kia efficient with finding out what was wrong, but they also acted as the liaison between me and the used car dealer. My wife and I could not be happier with how we were treated and I just felt I should pass this along. Shout out to the Service Team. PS:. Floor Mats look awesome!!!!!!

Bought a 2011 Kia Forte EX from Toyota that still had some warranty left on it. We heard a sound when turning to the right and called Toyota back immediately, since that is where we purchased it. They advised us that it was just inspected and to take it back to that garage, which we did and although they stated they could hear the noise, they could not determine it. We followed up with Toyota who advised us the warranty was through Kia themselves and if we feel there is an issue we should contact them. Upon contacting Kia, they were more than happy to not only look at the vehicle, but go for a test drive with us to determine the sound and cause. Once they determined it was a ball joint, they ordered the part and replaced it right away. We had also just mentioned that the exhaust had been running loud, they also replaced this warranty part. They have been great to deal with! The parts and service manager went above and beyond for us and we are thankful for him, and the parts and service clerk was super friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. We will likely stick with Kia when we go new in a couple years also!! Good, stress-free experience working with this location!
From my first contact with Port City Kia and dealing with Carey, who made the whole transaction of purchasing a new to me vehicle and having car payments again (1st time in 8 years), to accommodating me with picking up the car (2015 Kia Forte) , He followed up to make sure there were no questions. As well, when it was time for my first service, Dave reached out to me on a Sunday to verify that Service would contact me on the next business day to set up an appointment, Service was very accommodating to me and even had my car inside the drive thru, with the windows opened to cool it off when I got there to pick it up.

Port City Kia has submitted several requests for Google to remove honest, 1 star reviews left by their customers. Not only mine, but of many others. I have endless proof of my issues and will continue to repost my experience so others can become aware of the lemons they sell to customers, and how they take zero action or responsibility to rectify any issues their customers have. Today, the transmission for my 2021 Kia Seltos blew out for a THIRD time. A brand new vehicle should not need a new transmission after 7,000km, 21,990km, and then again at 36,228km. Although Port City Kia sold me the vehicle, because I moved out of the province, I was told by management that it's no longer their problem and to take up my issues with my new local Kia dealership. Well, guess what? My new local dealership said it's not their vehicle and that I need to take it up with the dealership that sold me the lemon. Kia Corporate also confirmed that it's Port City Kia's responsibility to resolve this issue but Port City Kia has been radio silent. Maybe if I was a pretty little white girl they would take action? Who knows. Port City Kia will do anything for a sale and once the car is taken off their lot, you're on your own. The icing of this whole ordeal was being told by the manager at Port City Kia that they "DO NOT GUARANTEE THE RELIABILITY OF ANY OF THEIR VEHICLES". Had that been a part of their slogan, I would have never committed to a Kia.
