So far this review is just for the getting an appointment stage. I'll rewrite after. The gentlemen that I made an appointment with for an oil change is very welcoming. He was very tackative which I am a fan of. I find that more talkative people tend to be more honest and nice. An oil change is $45 which is amazing.

I would like to start by stating this review is for the service department, not the sales department. I had a poor experience when bringing my car to the service center. Brought it in knowing it was a mechanical mess, but I gave them a list of problems I was aware of, and after the service I noticed there were still more issues. They lied to me when I asked if all the noises that the front suspension was making had been addressed (As soon as I left the lot I noticed they didn’t fix it). They returned it to me with a loose sway bar (car would jerk to the side while driving at all speeds, when it did not have that issue prior to their service), they missed a failing ball joint , and tried to coerce me into throwing expensive repairs at it that it didn’t require (indicated the water pump where it was simply a failed thermostat gasket). I feel very let down considering all the praise I’ve heard for their shop, I know they have some good mechanics there. Maybe it was my fault for bringing them a volvo, but after taking it to a more specialty shop (not a dealer) they managed to fix the problems I received after it came out of city auto. I’m giving it two stars because the customer service guy was respectful, but from my experience, they were trying to throw parts at problems.

Just bought my first car from the filks at CityAuto - a 2017 Chevy Bolt. Jesse and Mark were friendly and went out of their way to answer all of my questions. Couldn't have asked for a better first time car buying experience. Huge bonus points for having electric cars on their lot!
