Very good sales service from Mark and Mike. They made me a fair deal on both car and winters and when I found after a week that their inspection had failed to catch that a seat warmer wasn't working, they quickly ordered the part to make it right. Jessica and Jade in the service department are also very friendly and helpful. The fact that everyone working there seems happy and to like each other tells you something about their business model.

I was recently in the market for a used vehicle and found what I was looking for on Nelson Ford's website. I contacted them by email and Abe a salesman contacted me soon after. I arranged to see the vehicle and go for a test drive a couple of days later. When we arrived at the dealership Abe had the Ford Taurus out front and ready to view, test drive. I explained to Abe I was a senior on a pension and that the purchase had to fit into my budget. Abe managed to fit the total cost within my budget. While we were completing the paperwork with the Business Manager, Abe had the vehicle washed and gassed up. The people at Nelson Ford were courteous, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Made the process of purchasing a vehicle a pleasure. Thank you Nelson Ford.

My husband and I have own numerous new Ford vehicles, which we purchase from Kelowna, however, want to support our local dealership. With that being said, Nelson Ford has AWFUL customer service. After our most recent 2 visits, the problem has not been fixed and the service staff has treated us terribly. The truck went in for work they claimed was under warranty, however, when picked up the bill was somehow $500 and they claimed they diagnosed it wrong and now it was not covered under warranty. Most recently, they had our truck for over a month... when I picked up the truck yesterday, the issue was STILL not resolved (back up camera not working). When I went back to the service desk to let them know, the man treated me awful, claiming there was no notes indicating the backup camera was broken (when you back up and the camera is black its pretty obvious, no??) Prior to this, my husband called on x2 occasions to remind them to look at the camera to see what was going on. After trying to reason with the service desk man, he dismissed me telling me it wasn't his problem as the store was closed an hour ago. I then told him I would be contacting FORD Canada, he told me "good luck, your truck is not under warranty anymore." Horrible HORRIBLE customer service, I will make the 3.5 commute to Kelowna from now on..

I am not a Ford Customer; however, when I had car problems I stopped here and the Service Department went over and above to help me. Leon was good enough to contact the dealership in Castlegar, he let me know what company I could call for a tow and what the rental company was for a car. The mechanic (I'm sorry I didn't catch your name) was super helpful and listened to my car problems to let me know how serious it was. The shuttle driver who took me to the car rental location was friendly and helpful. He stayed at the location until my rental was arranged and complete. While I am not a Ford Customer, I will be forever grateful for the help they offered a stranded traveler. Other dealerships could use you as an example of what customer service should be. You saved a birthday weekend from being a disaster. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

I have recently purchased a new 2011 F150 Ecoboost from Nelson Ford and am very happy with the service and sales staff. The truck that i was sold was exactly the vehicle that i described to the sales person. I have my own carpentry business and work for Eagle Homes in castlegar setting up and doing all the finishing work required to complete the home, which requires me to have alot of tools in which i carry in my 14 foot tool trailer, which also requires me to travel to many different areas in the kootenays, I am totaly impressed with the towing abilities of the truck and the way it handles the trailer which is in the 9000lb range. The comfort of the ride. The fuel economy is awesome and the savings i am getting from driving the ecoboost compaired to the v8 is unreal, saving money in my business is a good thing, comparing my previous fuel bills to the new fuel bills gives me the option of taking a nice holiday, Thank You Nelson Ford and to Keith Phillips for selling me such an awesome truck.

Pretty good experience with Nelson Ford, they returned my phone message promptly, finished the service on my truck when they said they would and within the $ they quoted me. I did have a weird experience with their customer service agent who started claiming that the dealership had saved me a couple hundred $ even though they were exactly at what they quoted me... it was just weird. Anyway, I would bring my truck back here again.

After an exhaustive search centred on Calgary and other dealers in Alberta, I was unable to find a truck that met my exact specifications – Ford F350, Lariat, Ruby Red, LED quad light package, long box etc. The local dealers all tried to get me to buy one of the trucks in their current inventory at a higher price and were unwilling to come to terms with me on pricing. I was finally able to find the exact truck I was looking for in Nelson, B.C. Ike from Nelson Ford worked closely with me to negotiate a great deal, and went above and beyond to secure every possible discount. When I flew into Castlegar, Abe was there to take me to Nelson, and Ike had all the paperwork ready. The truck looked amazing. Abe even brought and installed the license plate holders to my hotel on Saturday night. If you are looking for a Ford vehicle, I highly recommend Nelson Ford, and Ike and Abe. The cost of my mini-vacation to Nelson was much less than the extra I would have paid for the same truck here in Alberta. And the customer service was exemplary, and superior to what I experienced locally. Thank you, Ike and Abe, it was truly a pleasure doing business with you, and Nelson Ford will be the first place I look next time I buy a vehicle.

Had an issue with our Co Truck last week called into Leon in the Service Dept. he had a cancelation opening; Colins Service Team had us on the hoist for an inspection; Team Tandy were on the tools they were able to quickly diagnose the issue and had the new parts installed that afternoon and back to us inside of hours. This place is wrong in every way. I bought a truck here brand new. I was told 0% financing. After a half day in the office and think Im leaving soon with my new truck I almost signed on the dotted line for 7% interest, good thing I read what I was signing. They followed me on the way to parking lot and agreed to meet me halfway on financing, still not the 0% I was told. I wrote a review on Facebook and they erased all reviews and made it so no one can leave any on fb anymore. The first problem with the truck was the e brake sticking. After a day in the shop they say theres no problem. 4 months later AM ford told me my brakes were all fried because the e brake was sticking. Im 4000kms past warranty. Today I went in to buy a multi function switch that has broke. I half expected them to give me a break on the price as it is only 4k past warranty and I bought the truck from them, I mean come on! They give me a price and then I call AM ford and they offer the same part to me for 20% less. I find almost everyone there to be rude and sick of their job, they really dont care anymore. I really hope that they either entirely change staff or go out of business. This place just sucks. Yes congrats on your award but pretty much every dealership gets this at some point so not really a big deal especially when its handed out from Ford. You know exactly who I am as we've spoke before on the phone about this same issue and its basically the same review that I left on fb. Not to difficult to look me up in your system, but good job trying to make it look like you actually care. Your reviews are so bad you have staff members leaving reviews on here to try and boost your rating.

Great service, put in an application online for a new vehicle on a Saturday afternoon and they called within 10 minutes to let me know they were getting the ball rolling. I went to the dealership on Monday night and it was a straight forward deal, no pressure or sales tactics. They gave a fair price for my trade and Mark and Ike both stayed an hour late to give me time to register the vehicle and finish the paperwork. The whole process was painless. Will definitely have my business in the future. There is another Ford dealer in the area that calls themselves the best in the Kootenays but after dealing with the two it's night and day, I'll be sending everyone I know to Nelson Ford.

Recently I was in the market for a good used truck. I visited most of the dealerships in Castlegar, Trail, and Nelson. The only one I heard back from was Nelson Ford (Abe Fominoff). He had a 2008 F-150 in good condition. Their asking price was reasonable (I compared it with the online Blue Book). Because a couple of repairs were needed, they knocked $1600 off the price. There was no need to dicker. Abe was very helpful and very professional. I didn't feel pressured to buy, and it was a pleasure to do business so painlessly. Now I have a great truck, and am totally satisfied with the way Nelson Ford treated me.

New ownership, new energy. Traded a vehicle in for a 2014 Ford Fusion on Nelson Ford’s lot and was meet with great service by Marshal and the new owner Mike Goretzki. Mike was very opened and fair in regards to the swap of vehicles and any concerns I had with the vehicle I had swapped for.
