As we were vacationing in Nelson, BC, our car started making horrible grinding noises. Midtown Motors had the best reviews, both online and local. Adrian took our car in, found and fixed the problem, and was done in half a day, and he did it with such skill and good humor that I just had to add my kudos to all the other 5-star reviews!

This place is amazing and the staff helped me alot, they helped me when they where not even open. On my way home from Ainsworth when I hit a pothole and wrecked my front tire. Without them I would have been spending a night in Nelson and paying for a hotel. You guys rock.... Made it home to Grand Forks......

We had Blair fix some damage another shop (Downtown Automotive) had done to our civic's motor a few years ago. They have done timing belts, a seatbelt issue, and a few other minor things on 3 of our vehicles over the years. Blair has always been fair, straightforward, and honest. There is never anything extra done that doesn't need doing. He even fixed a minor brake issue for no charge recently. They charge what the work is worth, but I feel comfortable sending my wife to Midtown without them trying to add a bunch of extra stuff that doesn't need doing.

By far, the best mechanic I've ever been to! As a young woman with little to no mechanical background, I've never felt comfortable bringing my vehicle into the shop and have been taken advantage of numerous times. I've taken my Chevy Trailblazer in to Midtown Motors a couple times over the past few months and have had exceptional, down-to-earth, friendly and honest service. As if this isn't enough, they seem to have the most inexpensive prices in town. I would highly recommend Midtown Motors!!

Midtown Motors is nothing short of amazing. Every time I need a repair, Blair and Adrian deliver... and then some. I have an old Ford Taurus wagon and an even older, vintage Willys Jeepster. These cars have never been so looked after. And I've never felt more confident about a repair shop. The work is exceptional, the price is fair and reasonable and the guys have both skill and integrity. If you need a car repaired in Nelson, this is where you want to go.

They worked on the clutch on a weekend so I was grateful they stayed open for me. 12 days later the clutch blows out in traffic. They sent my car to a "friend" in Vancouver who conveniently says it's not a clutch issue. They never paid the invoice for that "friend" to work on the car since they claimed it was now not their fault. Car got held hostage so we had to pay the invoice. Midtown refused to work with us on an issue that clearly stemmed from their shoddy work. Had to junk my car, my baby, my only asset. RIP Red Dragon. FU Midtown Motors.
