We were travelling west to Victoria in our 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan when we had a problem with a stuck accelerator. This caused the brakes to overheat to stop the vehicle. When we came to Castlegar, we found no Chrysler dealer. We stopped at Kalawsky GM to see if they could tell us where the Chrysler dealer was. They said they could fit us in and take a look at our vehicle. Brett was very helpful in service and the did the work to get us back on the road that day. I was greatly impressed.

A business is only as good as their employees. Shane and Scott are excellent to work with, informative, and made buying a new vehicle that fit our needs an enjoyable experience. Our new 2019 Z71 double cab truck is, by far, one of the best trucks we have ever owned. It gets great gas mileage, handles beautifully, and is very comfortable on long road trips. To show how Kalawsky Chevrolet Buick GMC went above and beyond for us, they even loaned us a box cover to protect precious cargo while we were waiting for our new canopy. We highly recommend contacting Shane Anderson, whether you are shopping for a new or used vehicle.

We were a long way from home when our truck broke down in castlegar. We had it towed to kawlawsky for warranty work. Everything about our experience was difficult and shady. They went out of their way to be difficult. There was multiple unanswered messages, the only time we ever got a response was when our local gmc dealer got involved. I hope and pray no one else has to deal with these people. If I could give them fewer than 1 star I would. Hands down the worst dealership I have ever come across. Shop elsewhere or you will get screwed

Great place to deal with. From Edmonton, coming to Ainsworth. My A/C failed. They got me in right away. Found the issue was going to take a bit. So they gave me a courtesy car so I could go back to Ainsworth and enjoy my holiday with my family rather then wait at the dealership. They were quick. And price was good. Staff was all very friendly. Would definitely go back to them.

Everyone at Kalawsky's (Shane, Scott and Jordan) went above and beyond to help me get into the vehicle I fell involve with. Anyone who knows me knows how picky I am about vehicles, Shane Anderson went above and beyond to ensure I got into the perfect vehicle that met all my needs. They gave me all my finance/lease options to help me make an informed choice that was right for me. They made sure I understood everything I needed to know in regards to leasing (I didn't know anything about it really, as I always financed), which really helped solidify my decision. And to top it off, they let me make my decision without hassling or pressuring me (what car dealership does that!!!) Shane ensured I knew the vehicle inside and out before driving off the lot, which I found extremely helpful as I didn't have to figure all the stuff that was foreign to me out on my own. Shane knows his stuff, which I really appreciated! He answered all my questions, I didn't leave the lot feeling unsure about anything. I highly recommend going and seeing Shane Anderson if your looking to purchase a vehicle, he is respectful, kind, not pushy and highly educated on every vehicle on the lot. Thank you for the phenomenal experience Shane, Scott and Jordan, I am definitely loving my new 2020 GMC Terrain Elevation edition! I'll definitely be back to do business with you in the future.

I don't know where to begin. A year ago I walked into Kalawsky's to purchase a new vehicle. The salesman Shayne got me set up with a great pre-owned vehicle that fit exactly what I was looking for! (2017 Subaru BRZ) The whole process was easy and I got an AMAZING trade in value on the deal. I was shown great customer service through follow up calls, bargaining, and just genuine honesty. Made the whole deal enjoyable and easy. I recently went in to upgrade to an SUV with more storage and room. This time Brian was the salesman. I explained exactly what features were important to me and he immediately fitted me up with a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox..FULLY LOADED! He made the whole sales experience personable and very memorable. I ended up walking away with something BETTER then what I had expected. The great experience doesn't end on the sales side. Both instances with Jordan in the finance department were enjoyable and made easy. He did a great job of explaining everything and went above and beyond to make sure I got approval for both my purchases. The team at Kalawsky's doesn't treat you like a customer, they treat you like family. Anyone skeptical about the service I challenge to go in and experience it first hand. When the time comes, I will again be back to make another purchase from the team at Kalawskys. 11/10 Experiences.

Great experience with Shane and everyone that assisted in the purchase of our Bolt EV at Kalawsky Chev Buick. I live in Vancouver and had been searching for a Bolt that came with the BC Scrap program token. When I found it in Castlegar, the only token left for a Bolt, I basically purchased a car over the phone. Slightly daunting for a guy my age. Several e mails and phone communications later, I arrived in Castlegar to find the car ready to go and exactly as described. The team at Kalawsky was really helpful finalizing all the details, paper work, registration etc. I would highly recommend them in the future, admittedly not sure how many customers would come up from Vancouver. For the local folks in Casltegar consider your self lucky to get the service and care you get here. Thanks again, Shane, Jordan, Scott, and Chelsea... Not very impressed , phoned about getting a front license plate bracket, explained i was going to have a body shop put it on as i wanted to make sure it was aligned on my brand new truck. Service said they do them all the time and it would be fine. So i went there the next day and explained again that i was concerned about the proper alignment, to which the service manager said don't worry we will measure and put it on right . The technician ended up installing it upside down which required removing it and drilling additional new holes into my brand new bumper. I emailed both managers to let them know of my dissatisfaction, to which neither responded personally. The service manager left me a message while i was out of town but never mentioned anything about replacing my bumper or offering compensation for the damages.

Had some issues with my wife's hummer h3 called Kalawsky service department and talked to Marcel He was very helpfull and accommodating to my needs for immediate service. He also got the parts that were required to get our vehicle back on the road fast and in a timely matter. He also gave us a loner car that was clean and reliable. As for the work performed on our vehicle it is top notch all our issues are solved. I highly recommend taking your vehicle to kalawsky to be repaired they seem to be giving the best service to customers. Good job everyone!!!!!!
