Went to Steve Marshall and gave them my details, they said they would order the parts and get back to me for the installation. 14 months later, I still haven't heard anything from Steve Marshall. The part got lost in the mail or they just couldn't be bothered with something they can't make a profit off ?

Do yourself a favor and read this. I went to a big, well established dealership to avoid the scummy, back ally used car dealership antics. These guys took it to a whole new level of scummyness. 1) A used truck with low KM's. They insisted it had passed their "81 point inspection" with flying colors. They assured me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with this vehicle. 2) I test drove it and soon noticed a significant rumble,rattle at low rpms. Made me think transmission. WHen I took it back to the dealership they braught in their certified, licenced professional mechanic who took it out and was able to reproduce the problem. 3) They said they would fix it that evening. 4) They called the next morning to say it was all fixed up. Mechanic fixed it. It was the U-joint. He took it out for a good test drive and was unable to reproduce the problem. Come in and sign the papers. They ushered me and my wife into an office and brought out the papers for a sale. I said I should probably test drive it just to make sure. 4) Within 5 minutes the truck was making the exact same intense vibration, rumble. Like I was driving over rumble strips when of course I was not. I couldnt believe that they had told me this was fixed and had tried to get us to sign papers. 5) I brought it back and said it was not in fact fixed. They expressed surprise about this. Said they would get back on it and in the meantime, we should sit down and sign some papers to hold the vehicle because there was another interested party who was willing to pay cash and was just waiting on us to decide weather we really wanted the thing. 6)I said go ahead and sell it to him/her. We were not going to sign papers for a vehicle with a major mechanical problem. 7) They said that if we dont sign, they would have to let it go to this mysterious 'cash buyer'. I said let them have it. 8) I got a message back saying "Great news! The cash buyer wants to be fair and is letting you have first dibs on it. Come on in and sign the papers or we will have to let it go. I said again, let it go. He wrote back saying," if you wont sign papers, we are going to have to let it go to the cash buyer. He said that it was company policy, he had no say in the matter. "after all, we are in the business of selling vehicles here" Again, I said, let it go, Im not buying a broken truck. 9) He calls back about an hour later and says "I need to get at least a deposit from you to make sure that you are serious about the transaction". I was pretty disgusted by this point and hung up on the guy, He called back to tell me that if we came in and gave them a $500 deposit, they would get the truck fixed at the Nissan dealership ( it was a Nissan truck) and hold it for us until it was fixed. 10) I wrote the guy a good long message outlining how this transaction had gone from the beginning and let him know that I was not impressed. That being said, if they were able to fix the issue, I was STILL willing to buy the thing because I really liked the truck. 11) I drove across town, with my $500 cash in hand, walked into the dealership and was met by this associate. He let me know how sorry he was about how all this had played out. He presented me with this messy piece of paper with all the scribbles of the numbers we had worked out regarding the financing, the interest rate, the term and the monthly payments. It was actually the same piece of paper that we had been working on. HOWEVER, he had raised the price of the vehicle by over a thousand dollars, added almost another thousand dollars of additional taxes that we had not negotiated and had still left out the interest rate. He actually had the nerve to try to get me to agree to this and to give him a $500 deposit which may or may not have been refundable should the deal have fallen thought...

I left Vancouver an engine light came on I was heading towards Campbell River when in first thing and the service attendant was awesome quickly hooked up my car to the computer found that the code was basically a non-issue and cleared it for me printed out a sheet just in case it comes back on this is a kind of dealership service that should be praised very very impressed I wasn't even charged for his time

Poor. Brought my F150 in multiple times regarding a knock in the engine which the service mechanics claimed was inaudible iyt. I brought it to Parksville Dealership who immediate did a test and determined the issue and fixed it along with some other issues that Ford Lincoln claimed where not under my full bumper to bumper warranty. Do not use Steven Marshall Ford Lincoln; they ARE friendly however they do not put the effort when you're under warranty. Go to Parksville.

I emailed the dealership through a car advertising website, with a list of specific and technical questions. John Erickson wrote me back quickly with answers to everything. After a lot of lame responses from other dealers, John was refreshing to deal with. Car was parked out front ready to look at and test drive at the appointment time. It was about 90 minutes all told, from driving in to driving away with the new car. 100% recommend John if you are shopping for a new Ford, Lincoln or any used car from Steve Marshall Ford Lincoln. I'm sure he gets a lot of sales because works hard when most other sales people and dealerships are afraid to.

I am totally impressed by the efforts that Rob the Service Manager took to address a number of concerns I had following my initial service visit. None of the issues related to the service work that they did but Rob, who was obviously very busy, always took the time to talk to me to resolve concerns I had. I’ll just start off by saying that this dealership, by far, was the most hassle-free and smoothest experience when it came to purchasing my vehicle, and Jason Vance was the key reason for this. It was such a breath of fresh air, and I would definitely be happy to do business with him again. About 2-3 weeks ago, I was interested in getting myself another vehicle since my current commuter was nearing its end. Over some weeks I went to various dealerships with prior knowledge of knowing what vehicle in their lot I wanted, and continuously I was met with sales people who wanted to sit me down and take a survey to browse other vehicles. Several times I insisted that I was only there to look at one vehicle and had limited time to do so, as I had other dealerships I wanted to visit, but I was still met with insistence to fill out a survey, or to take a look at other cars without even showing me the vehicle(s) I had originally came to see. When my girlfriend and I had stepped foot at Steve Marshall Ford, Jason Vance came out and noticed us looking at one of the vehicles. When I told him I had came to the dealership to see this vehicle, he didn’t trouble me with any additional steps besides actually taking my interest seriously and showing me what I wanted to see. Before even asking to test drive it, he had a license plate in hand and was ready to go. Where other dealerships would still have me sitting in a chair making small talk before seeing a vehicle, I was already on the road test-driving one. We were met with straight up honesty, and at the end of it all we ended up buying the vehicle right there that day. Being at this dealership, my girlfriend and I didn’t feel like we were just some customers trying to be won over. The entire process didn’t feel artificial at all. It was a complete down-to-earth and genuine experience. Jason Vance was an integral part for this experience, and we both would recommend him to anyone who is in the market of getting themselves a vehicle.

Unfortunately I have never had a good experience with this dealerships service Department. Reluctantly I find myself having to deal with them in regards to a soft recall ( customer satisfaction issue) on my Ford Edge. I went to them to make a service appointment with letter in hand to notify them of the issue.( Another service location had diagnosed the issue, phoned Steve Marshall and found out the part should be replaced free of charge) I expected on my service visit to Steve Marshall to have the part replaced that day. ( I had waited 5 days for the appointment) When we dropped the car off we explained what the issue was, even showed them the letter detailing the problem. (I had also done this when I made the appointment in person) An hour after dropping the car off we received a call asking us what the issue was! Again we told them. The lady on the phone went on to tell us if that was not the problem we would be charged $149.00 and were we ok with that. Lol...sure go ahead we told her we were sure that was the issue. We received a call 3 hours later telling us the car is ready to be picked up. Great! NO Yes, they confirmed what we had said was the issue with our Ford was indeed correct, however they didn’t have the part in stock and would call us in a couple of days when it comes in to make ANOTHER service appointment. Well, after 4days we called them! Yes the part is in...hmmm why weren’t we called. Would you like to make a service appointment? Lol..Well yes we would. Well they can get us in in 8 days time. So disappointed with this dealership and they just keep making my impression of them worse. I’m really sorry we ever purchased from them.

I recently bought a truck off Steve Marshall Ford in Nanaimo. The sales person who sold me the vehicle went beyond and above to make sure I had the vehicle I was looking for. Carson was honest, fair and realistic when searching for the right truck for me. His personality was calm and not pushy whatsoever. You could tell how genuine he was to deal with and how up front he was regarding negotiations re price and bi weekly payment. I understood how he doesn’t make the final decision on offers, trade in’s etc and has to defer to his boss who was Peter at the time. That’s really where the “great experience” ends. We agreed on a bi weekly payment price and Carson came back into the office and said “ we have a deal” meaning they matched my trade in request for the $10,000 trade in value for my bmw. I wanted the funds to be split 7000 going to pay off my loan on the bmw and 3000 check as I needed to allocate funds to a different account of mine. When he got back with the working copy piece of paper we were using, I discovered that in order to give me the $3000 check, they increased the price of the vehicle by 3000 which I being a math guy immediately called them on. Carson really couldn’t answer as it wasn’t his doing so when I looked at the financing options, they said they couldn’t do the term of 72 months and get me financing however they could do it on a New Truck. I walked out and thanked Carson for his professionalism and assured him I wasn’t upset with him but his two finance guys, Peter and his other finance manager. They called me back the next day and said they could approve me for a 60 month on the truck so I revisited them. When i dealt with the finance person, I brought it up the fact that they tried to “pull a fast one” and his response was oh that was the newer salesman who was new to position however it was NOT Carson, it was Peter , who has been there for years. Between the finance person and Peter, i was offended that in my opinion “they tried to pull a fast one “. Once again, Carson was wonderful and professional the entire time. I really appreciate his honesty and integrity.

Excellent help from the service department. I made an appointment to have my niece’s vehicle inspected for safety and they caught some important things that a shop in Alberta missed. Nothing is more important than family safety and I always bring my vehicles here as well as recommending this dealership to friends. My experience with David Gray and everyone at the dealership it was great! I knew what I was looking for (as well as what I wasn’t looking for) and David gave me all the information that I needed, and we had a few giggles, with Peter as well! From applying for financing to picking up my car the whole experience was really really good! I am not usually a happy car buyer because I don’t like to play the “buying” game and the time involved but everyone there was great – David listened to me and what I needed and wanted and made the whole process actually rather pleasant!! I had countless issues with my Fiesta and had been in many times and was told there was nothing wrong with the car. They eventually found the issue and did fix it. Something else came up and again back to the dealership I went dreading the response I would get. I had a new service advisor, Nicole. This girl was awesome. Worth the distance ! Just purchased a 2013 GMC Sierra today, blown away with the professionalism with Carson Clark! This is the 3rd dealership I have dealt with and by far the best. Coming from Powell river to Nanaimo can be a challenge, Carson personally picked us up from our ferry in Comox to bring us to the dealership. Was very personal and my fiancé and I truly enjoyed the hour drive to the dealership. Got all the financing and details of the sale finalized before we caught our ferry over, Carson spoke with us multiple times and sent videos and photos to give us all the details of the truck making us feel very comfortable just going there and signing the papers and bringing the truck home. From the moment we arrived to driving off the lot took a max of about 35 mins, transferring insurance was a breeze. What stood out the most with Carson was that he never once tried to upsale us to something we didn’t want, he understood what kind of truck we wanted and that’s what we got ! Highly recommend working with Carson for your next vehicle.

My partner and I had a great experience with Victoria, she was incredibly helpful, kind and got us a great deal on a used car. She was realistic, informed, and listened to what we wanted and then got it done! We spent several hours there while our deal was sorted out and we were made to feel comfortable, at home AND the coffee was good. First edit: 1 week after purchasing our car, it died on the highway. After towing to their lot, they told us it would be over a week before they could even start work on it, and we would have no courtesy car or loaner. I am extremely disappointed, and am continually in touch with the team. Second edit: The team at Ford took care of the repairs, it took a bit but they did it on their dime and Joël was incredibly helpful throughout the process. They put a new transmission in (and had to send the first one they got back which slowed things down) but eventually the work was done and we were very happy with the end result of a working and hopefully reliable car, with a new transmission! Overall would recommend, only lost a star because they sold us the car that way and the time the repair took

I bought a 2016 Hyundai Tucson from here back in October 2020. As it was my first time buying a car for myself I was hoping for the price of it, that everything was working fine and that there would be no problems. We got to take it home and three days later it went in for inspection. We mentioned that the camera was very blurry and that there was a hesitation. The inspection report stated the camera was just low quality. In January 2021, after winter holidays, it was the only time we could reach out back to Ford in person and talk to the sales leader. We spoke to Ryan about the problems but mostly the camera was our main concern and wanted that fixed mostly. He agreed to give us an inspection and figure out what we could do afterwards. He said he would contact us in two or three days. No word after those days so we called the service department a week later and they had no idea about any appointment for us. Well they got us in for a free inspection at Hyundai two weeks later, which they fixed a Break issue, and a relearn of the computer. But the quality of the camera was marked by the technician as “needs to be replaced” as this was our number one complaint to Ryan and Ford service department, I was very disappointed that it wasn’t taken care of. The camera not working properly is a huge safety concern and it was one of the reasons why I wanted to upgrade to a new vehicle with that luxury. But unfortunately it still has not been resolved with no follow up from anyone from Ford. We are left disappointed.

I never cared about review before but this dealership made me love to give them a review. Went in for appointment to get the stinky smell checked on the rear engine that might be causing engine light. They phone me after and notify me that they found two issues when they diagnose it and that the (1)coolant bypass valve needs replacing which is cover under extended warranty and (2)coolant leaks and found that quick connect leaking and is not covered on ext warranty. Adviser explained that if the extended warranty would not cover i will have to pay for the diagnostic (which makes sense). NOW, THE PART THAT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE IS FOR ME TO PAY FOR 2 DIAGNOSTIC TEST WHEN 2 PROBLEMS ARE CONNECTED. JUST BECAUSE 1ST PROBLEM IS COVERED AND 2ND IS NOT. IT’S STILL LIKE CHARGING ME FOR A SEPARATE DIAGNOSTIC FOR IT? Doesn’t make sense to pay every diagnostic that you are doing in the same appointment especially if it’s all in the spot(coolant). Tsk! What a joke! Such a rip off price. I did all my services (every 6 mons) here at STEVE MARSHALL FORD since we have ford, but I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN for any services and will no longer trade our car here anymore!!

$400 dollars just for a diagnosis (really?!). Then I was quoted over $900 to fix what they diagnosed. Seemed fishy so I took it somewhere else. Cost me $215 all in and my car is working fine. They wanted to replace the electronic temperature sensor, this was not the main issue. Replaced a leaky heating tube and I was good to go.

Service department is a joke. I waited two weeks for my appointment to have a wheel bearing replace. Took my vehical in well before my appointment time, 7:30am and my appointment was at 10am. At the time of drop off I informed the service advisor that I needed the vehical back by 4:30pm. I had to call the dealership at 3:30pm only to find out that they havn't touched my vehical. The advisor said we cant get it done till the next day. I needed the vehical so finally they offered to stay late was told it would be done no later then 6pm vehical was finished at 7pm. Things happen I understand that but a phone call would have been nice. Now the final nail in the coffin when I was walking around my car two days later I noticed they completely forgot to put a lug nut on to the tire. When we called to tell the advisor this was told lug nuts missing don't matter. This is just one of the several bad service experiences my wife and I received. I would recommend staying far away from this service department.

Bought my ford escape back in August 2021. 2 weeks later after purchasing the vehicle, I took it to get it serviced. I got informed I have a valve cover gasket leak and may need a new engine. 5 days later they told me I don't need a new engine, and just have the valve cover gasket leak to fix. Rodney the service manager comes over with the update on the vehicle and tells me I'm not aloud to drive my car off the lot. Had to get a rental vehicle for 4 weeks since that's how full the service appointments were. Once I got my vehicle back, I had another issue occur. Got sent to voicemail multiple times trying to book my car in. Overall, I don't think they even safety inspected the car in the first place, and their service for vehicles is disappointing.

I called Steve Marshall Ford and the woman answering the phone said it couldn't be done even though I told her Ford Canada referred me to my local dealership. I live in Arizona and was visiting a friend in Nanaimo about a month ago. A tire low pressure light came on while driving around town, so we went to the Steve Marshall Lincoln service department. I was travelling from Victoria to Port Hardy to catch the ferry on Saturday, April 22, 2017 when I had a problem with a leak in one of my tires (turned out I picked up a roofing nail in Victoria). Pulled into Steve Marshal Ford in Nanaimo without an appointment and explained the situation to them. My wife and I were somewhat stressed out because we had to make it to Port Hardy for the ferry so the issue was time sensitive. Not only did the staff in the service department take us in immediately and fix the problem promptly to get us back on the road, they refused to charge us anything (not a warranty claim either). I found the names on the website of two of the three people who were so helpful: Wyatt Johnston, Tony Toulouse-Aguiar, and the other is Robin who was the receptionist that day. Thanks to all of you and I appreciate your kind and generous spirits and warm hearts.. On my return home to Terrace I did take steps to "pay it forward" by making a donation to the "Cops for Cancer" charity. I would recommend anyone to go to this great dealership.

Have been a Ram owner for quite awhile but really like the NEW F150 so took the plunge dealt with Brad in sales great guy not a pushy salesman happy with the deal I got here, only thing that bothered me was that the truck was supposedly already undercoated and I was charged for it a few days later I decided to take my running boards off and noticed that the truck wasn't undercoated, my wife and I have really busy schedules so leaving the truck for a day or two to have this done is very hard glad I noticed but who really checks to make sure there vehicle is undercoated after buying it Update 3 years later They refunded me my money for the undercoat no problem. I’ve since moved on to another Ford truck that I have had in the service department. Everyone in the service department is always helpful and takes care of me in a timely matter.

I brought my 2013 F150 in for a complete service and when I went to pick up my truck I noticed they never rotated the tires as I had Marked a tire and that's how I knew they were never rotated which makes me think that they never even inspected my brakes. I approached Shelly and told her what had happened and she went and talked to the mechanic and he said he could not remember if he rotated them or not so I ended up waiting another half hour to get this work done I don't know if I will be back here as this was my first time here and I was not very impressed !

Friendly staff at the Service department Nanaimo but Wyatt a service adviser was very condescending with a bit of a chip on his shoulder. Tried escalating his behavior to the Service Manager Rob and Rob never followed up as PROMISED. Wyatt wasn't too happy that I took my vehicle to a different mechanic before bringing it to the dealership to have it fixed. He was blaming me for the work the other mechanic did and sounded very condescending throughout our conversation. I spoke to someone earlier at the Service Department who said I could drop off my car anytime and they would fix it when they have some in between time but no one told me that my car will be waiting at the dealership until the schedule appointment which was almost 10 days away. I never heard of the scheduled appointment date until I had to call in multiple times before I was finally told by Wyatt that my car will be fixed when it was originally scheduled. My car is still at the dealership as I write this. Very disappointed with the service. I hope it get fixed correctly. I will try to reach out to Anne-Marie the dealership owner as well and see if this behavior is allowed and then update my post Update: No one got back to me and my vehicle was picked up about 2 days ago. The power steering issue was fixed but the tech wasnt able to explain how a vehicle that was in the dealership for more than 10days suddenly had a check engine light for Emission issues. I know it is an older vehicle and Im sincerely tired of dealing with Steve Marshall Ford. I took the car in without a Check engine light and it came out with one. When I got to the dealership, I was first presented with a $2998 bill. When I went through and asked questions, Leslie an adviser then saw errors on the bill and reduced it to $2300. There were extra charges on the bill and the calculation was wrong. Please always check your bill with Steve Marshall Ford Dealership in Nanaimo before paying

It’s almost as if they don’t want to sell you a truck. After attempting the on line build your truck portal went in to dealership in person. They were unable to provide any real cost for vehicle as apparently need a VIN on lot first. So as it seemingly stands now you must order a truck at a unknown cost get it to the lot then they will tell you what you owe….ok then. So I ask to at least get a print off of the truck I’m interested in along with options and a estimated cost . Nope can Only email it to ya . Ok…provide my email , day later nothing shows up. Steve Marshall Ford sold me newer f150, it had very low KM (14000km)... they advertised as if it had zero issues. A year after purchasing I brought the warrantied truck in for regular maintenance, the service department “accidentally gave me their paperwork” pertaining to an existing engine problem. (Audible engine knock from cylinder #5 - does not operate properly) They never disclosed this issue or showed me this paperwork during the sale of the vehicle. When I confronted them about this they were very defensive and asked for their paperwork back. I expressed obvious concern but they assured me that ford engineering suspects no long or short term effects from the cylinder knock... What really gets me is that I paid top dollar for this truck whilst they hid paperwork of this known “engine characteristic”. If I would have known about this “engine characteristic” I wouldn’t have looked at the truck to begin with. While discussing my concerns with the dealership they placated the whole ordeal and are attempting to wash their hands. I’d like to personally thank Rob Willoughby the salesman who wrongfully sold me the truck and Marc Ebdrup the operations manager for standing behind him. We ordered a part of our F150 and was told to could arrive in about 2-3 weeks. It arrived 5 days later. When I picked up the part I asked if they could install it for me. It's an easy job but I don't have the tools with us, as we're visiting in Nanaimo. No problem.....it was installed without a charge. It took the young fellow about 5 minutes but it would have taken my wife almost an hour!!!!! While at the dealership I was approached by at least 3 Ford personal and each time was asked if they could help or if everything was OK. Great service with a smile. Thank you very much. Although the sales person was a very nice guy, he had a bunch of air fresheners in the vehicle when we took it for a test drive, and kept stating how nice it was that the previous owner was not a smoker. I never thought anything of it until I got back home, which he knew was three and a half hours away, and now the car smells strongly like smoke :-( I was also disappointed by the financing guy that helped me as he discreetly tried to add 11 Grand onto the price, thinking I was a woman and I wouldn't notice. When I confronted him he ignored me. Altogether it took 6 hours to deal with buying a vehicle! I would have left but I had to take a ferry and didn't want to come for nothing. Long story short, not super happy with this dealership!

I've been buying Ford products since 1956 (the 1st was a used '53 Mercury Hardtop). The only exceptions ever were European cars bought while stationed nine years abroad. This recent Escape purchase is our first with Steve Marshall Ford, although you serviced a Joe Cunningham sedan for us for years. Other than the shear agony of parting with rainy day savings, our purchase experience last week was fairly painless. Craig, our salesman, was very patient with Denyse and I, who had arrived somewhat "divided" on just what car we wanted and with me frankly anxious about the entire process. Longtime happily married, we settled on the car Denyse preferred! I may be old, but I ain't dumb! Auto technology has changed radically this Century. I haven't quite kept up. Craig spend a lot of time walking us through our new Ford and quite a few km in the back or co-driver seats guiding us through road checks. Equally important, was the advice & assistance I got from Rob in Finance as we found inventive ways for me to protect my retirement savings (where I still enjoy reasonably good interest rates), financing two-thirds of our purchase price at a preferred interest rate provided by Ford Canada. On balance then, this car purchase has been a "fairly easy" experience for me. There were no downsides for me, while Denyse got exactly the car she wanted. So, thank you Craig, Rob, Peter and all the other folk up front in Sales, and, out back in Servicing. Thanks for making this a "comfortable" experience for us.......Bill

I took my car in, unannounced, early Friday morning because it was making an odd noise and I wanted to make sure it was safe to drive. As soon as I walked through the front doors, Pat greeted me and helped me out. Trevor came out immediately and took a look at the car, noticing right away what was wrong with it. Do yourself a favor and read this. I went to a big, well established dealership to avoid the scummy, back ally used car dealership antics. These guys took it to a whole new level of scummyness. 1) A used truck with low KM's. They insisted it had passed their "81 point inspection" with flying colors. They assured me that there was absolutely nothing wrong with this vehicle. 2) I test drove it and soon noticed a significant rumble,rattle at low rpms. Made me think transmission. WHen I took it back to the dealership they braught in their certified, licenced professional mechanic who took it out and was able to reproduce the problem. 3) They said they would fix it that evening. 4) They called the next morning to say it was all fixed up. Mechanic fixed it. It was the U-joint. He took it out for a good test drive and was unable to reproduce the problem. Come in and sign the papers. They ushered me and my wife into an office and brought out the papers for a sale. I said I should probably test drive it just to make sure. 4) Within 5 minutes the truck was making the exact same intense vibration, rumble. Like I was driving over rumble strips when of course I was not. I couldnt believe that they had told me this was fixed and had tried to get us to sign papers. 5) I brought it back and said it was not in fact fixed. They expressed surprise about this. Said they would get back on it and in the meantime, we should sit down and sign some papers to hold the vehicle because there was another interested party who was willing to pay cash and was just waiting on us to decide weather we really wanted the thing. 6)I said go ahead and sell it to him/her. We were not going to sign papers for a vehicle with a major mechanical problem. 7) They said that if we dont sign, they would have to let it go to this mysterious 'cash buyer'. I said let them have it. 8) I got a message back saying "Great news! The cash buyer wants to be fair and is letting you have first dibs on it. Come on in and sign the papers or we will have to let it go. I said again, let it go. He wrote back saying," if you wont sign papers, we are going to have to let it go to the cash buyer. He said that it was company policy, he had no say in the matter. "after all, we are in the business of selling vehicles here" Again, I said, let it go, Im not buying a broken truck. 9) He calls back about an hour later and says "I need to get at least a deposit from you to make sure that you are serious about the transaction". I was pretty disgusted by this point and hung up on the guy, He called back to tell me that if we came in and gave them a $500 deposit, they would get the truck fixed at the Nissan dealership ( it was a Nissan truck) and hold it for us until it was fixed. 10) I wrote the guy a good long message outlining how this transaction had gone from the beginning and let him know that I was not impressed. That being said, if they were able to fix the issue, I was STILL willing to buy the thing because I really liked the truck. 11) I drove across town, with my $500 cash in hand, walked into the dealership and was met by this associate. He let me know how sorry he was about how all this had played out. He presented me with this messy piece of paper with all the scribbles of the numbers we had worked out regarding the financing, the interest rate, the term and the monthly payments. It was actually the same piece of paper that we had been working on. HOWEVER, he had raised the price of the vehicle by over a thousand dollars, added almost another thousand dollars of additional taxes that we had not negotiated and had still left out the interest rate. He actually said that the additional costs were to cover the costs of having the Nissan dealership across the road fix the vehicle! They couldnt be expected to cover these repairs He actually had the nerve to try to get me to agree to this and to give him a $500 deposit which may or may not have been refundable should the deal have fallen thought. At this point I walked away, disappointed and disgusted. Avoid this place.

I am a very fair minded person but this place has driven me to the point of pure hate. First off they sold me a broken 2012 Ford Focus in 2013 because of a 'manufacturing mistake' which I have had to deal with this whole time! When I had to take it in to get this issue fixed for a second time they said it would take 3 weeks to get the part!!! AND I worked in parksville and they informed me they do NOT rent cars for the client anymore and they REFUSED to drive me even though they needed my car overnight....it was a JOKE to the point that I took it to the Parksville dealership and they were absolutely amazing and got me a rental car! Now my car breaks down on the Malahat for an overheated transmission...and they call me to tell me they will need to charge for the diagnoses and anything that needs to be done....this car has been horrible from the start I am so angry, the only reason why they even extended the warranty was because THE CAR WAS BROKEN IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!!...and within a few months of it expiring low and behold I have a problem....

This dealership was a nightmare from start to finish. The salesman did not show me all the damage on the vehicle knowing I had to drive 1.5 hours to view it. They attempted to sell me damage that occurred through vandalism in their own lot. The word “dick” was carved into the paint on the tailgate and the salesman actually tried to sell it to me (the finance manager let slip the damage happened on their lot) The vehicle was delivered filthy and not sanitized during the covid quarantine. It was so bad I specifically asked 3 times prior to my purchase and was told it would be done. there was grease and grime on every surface including the seatbelts. Dog and human hair in the seats. Food and debris on the floor etc. When I picked it up they told me they could not clean the truck, because they had no cleaning staff due to covid 19. I was under the impression that cleaning was the most important and deemed an essential service?? I had to pay to have the truck detailed myself. through one of 50 open detail shops in the area. I’ve bought 4 new fords and this dealership by far was the most dishonest, and by far the most unpleasant to work with. I highly recommend going elsewhere. I only wish I could post pictures here.........

They told me that's my upper ball joint needs to be replaced they gave me a quote I said no and when I go to get my truck the invoice was for 94$ haha not a chance Not to mention when I go buy the part on my own I notice the coil in the strut is also snapped no mention of that in my report I ended up having paying 67 $ at Ford

My negative equity situation was a nightmare I was in a vehicle that was far to small for what my family required. I was about to give up but i gave ford a shot. Horrible product, horrible service from dealership and Ford Canada. If you hate yourself Ford's for you. I had numerous issues with my brand new truck right from 1700 kilometers. Ford Canada recommended trading in my truck and take a loss because it wasnt the dealerships or Fords fault for selling me a lemon. The Ford Canada rep literally said there is no way you could buy 2 lemons back to back, and offered to toss in fender flares if I buy another new truck. They do not stand behind their product what so ever and its always the customers fault. I hope you read this and saved yourself the headache that comes with buying a new ford. We bought a truck from Kai and our experience could not have been better. We were travelling when it came up on the facebook page. We called Kai and he gave us all the information, took a video for us so that we could really have a good look at it. We were going to be out of town for 10 days and we knew this truck would not be on the lot for long. Kai made the decision very easy and once we had said we wanted the truck he got everything rolling so that when we came to sign the paperwork it was all done in no time at all. There was a small glitch in the paperwork but the dealership was right on the ball and sorted it out right away. Kai spent lots of time showing us the working of all the features of the truck and made sure that we had all our questions answered. I would highly recommend the dealership and Kai.

All the staff here were absolutely wonderful when our truck decided it didn’t want to run anymore (fuel pump quit) We just got out of a dental surgery with our youngest child on one of the hottest days so far this year. My husband had to be back to work the next morning for 4:30am so they gave us a demo truck to use for the rest of our 4 hour drive home and called us the next day to say our truck was all fixed and ready to go. Will definitely be doing business with them again in the future Thank you all so much for being so kind.
