I was skeptical at first with dealing with a smaller used auto shop. They turned out to be better than expected. Anna was very helpful and definitely looks out for your best interest. Mario was the salesman I dealt with. Wasn't pushy or aggressive at all. Communication was open, honest, and fast. Would definitely recommend purchasing a vehicle from them. The car I purchased was a 2013 Cadillac ATS. I believe it was priced well.

Called them book an appointment to see and drive a vehicle. I let them know im coming from far. I reach there after driving in from downtown Toronto to find the vehicle I came for sitting in their showroom and the sales person who introduced himself as Muriel saying that I never mentioned anything about driving it. I specifically mentioned that I wanted to drive it which my wife confirmed. Why would I drive nearly a hour north just to LOOK? Who even buys a used car without driving it first?! Wasted mboth my time and my money. If you're dealing with them keep a record of your conversation.

Purchased a car back in Dec 2015. While in negotiations they were very uncooperative. Seemed like each question I asked their answer was "no". No deals here! Took almost a full week for the car to be tested and certified. Yet the second day I had possession, I checked the oil and it was bone dry. All leaked out on my driveway - oh and the answer to that repair was a big "no", Pickard won't cover that cost! My mechanic said they put on the wrong oil filter, obviously didn't fit and almost severely damaged my engin. Too much hassle - thanks for nothing Picard Lane! I won't set foot here again to buy or recommend to buy a car.

UPDATE: Peter Amerato an employee of this business is contacting me threatening legal action if I do not remove my review. This is how they do business, instead of trying to satisfy customers they threaten them with legal action. This review is 100% accurate and will becatsying up. I'm honestly surprised these guys are still around, I bought a car from them way back in 2006. It may be under different management now and if it is I apologize but if not... It seems if you are buying a $20k+ vehicle from them you get pretty good service. Not so much if you are buying a sub $5000 as-is special. I paid $1500 cash for a 92 Eagle Talon, they recommended I take it to Firestone next door at their old location for the safety. It ended up costing $2500 and they put the wrong bolts in the control arms and over-tensioned the timing belt. All of this was discovered when the timing belt snapped two months later. When I took the car to get it plated, now 2 weeks after I paid cash for it I was told there was a lien on the car and it could not be plated. Long story short it took me 3 weeks of calling and harassing Pickard before I finally got the lien taken off and could drive the car I bought over a month ago. Oh and this was my first car buying experience on my own.

I was car hunting in which I stumbled upon a car they're selling in which I was like this company looks so familiar. It dawned on me, this was the company I bought my first car from many years ago, that was a complete lemon. Car didn't even last me a year, before needing a new engine. Customer service was good but of course it would be since your making a huge purchase like that. Under my warranty provided by the dealership I went to them with concerns about the car in which they told me the car was fine no issues and boom my engine goes. For the same reason I had them look into the car for.

First of all - used cars are USED cars; even the best used car dealership can have lemons. It's up to us, the consumer to do our due diligence to follow up and take care of any concerns that might arise when we purchase a used vehicle. I recently bought a car from Pickard Lane that had a disappointing amount of issues come up with it (no fault of the dealership) due to some pressing personal issues that came up over Covid, I neglected to deal with some of these concerns in a timely manner. I dealt with Manager, Gabriel and GM (I believe) Giancarlo, who went beyond what was expected to make sure the car i bought from them was running safely and properly - even after they were legally required to do so. They conducted business with moral grace. A very special mention to Anna who spoke with me on a human level, with compassion and honesty. The male dominated world of car business has often been a frustrating experience for me, i sincerely appreciate Anna's professionalism and understanding of my situation. A respectful company to do business with. Thank you to the Pickard Lane Staff.

I saw a 2008 Pontiac Montana there, the car looked great with detailed information on dealer's website, price was reasonable because I kept looking for the similar car on the market for about 2 months, I know the price range, some car at other dealers looked good too but over-priced, no need to waste my time there, so I only visit the dealer with reasonable window price, that will save your time. After checked the car here, I felt good except some minor problems: one alloy rim was bent and need replacement, one tire pressure sensor malfunction, so I asked the dealer to repair before I bought it, and they agreed immediately. After several days when I came back to pickup the car, all problems fixed, and they also changed the brake system and front links, now the car has brand new brake rotors and pads, that I thought I should change them by myself later on my cost. surprised. At least now I can say, they did an very honest safety inspection, very impressive! I will recommend this dealer to my friends.

Pickard Lane Leasing; where do I begin. They are amazing over there. There is a huge variety of vehicles to choose from that will surpass anyone's needs and wants. My dream car was a Subaru WRX STI ever since I was a kid and Anna Christakis made it happen. She knows what shes doing and will address all of your concerns and help you find your perfect car! Needless to say, I will recommend Pickard Lane Leasing to all of my friends and they will be my first stop for all my future vehicles.

Came to see a m235i I was in the market for and initially seemed professional Mario was decent. Upon returning to take the car to my bmw mechanic for a pre purchase inspection I was surprised with a list of issues (leaky shocks, oil pan gasket, differential) and a whole accident in which the entire rear left quarter panel was repainted that was not mentioned all in the carfax or by the dealer although they've had the car for 2 months. They said that they'd fix the leaks to pass safety(although with aftermarket components *concerning for the shocks) and offered me only a uncompetitive $500 discount for the accident on the car to which the extent of the damage is unknown and I was blindsided by (for which the paint is easily distinguished with tape marks). I'm happy having dodged a bullet but the really concerning part is that there was a small family waiting to see the car after me that might not be as privileged with this information and I felt I wasn't given a better deal so that unsuspecting family can take the hit. Bad practices in my opinion, do your due diligence

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I purchased my truck from pickard lane in May 2020 and the engine light came on after driving it for 3 hours. Took the truck back and it needed the whole transmission rebuilt. They used my warranty, that i luckily purchased from them to fix the problem. I then picked up the truck after the repair and the next morning it wouldn't start. Had to get it towed back to pickard where they switched the battery and it finally worked. Now, 4 months later, the engine light came back on and i took it to a mechanic under the warranty program and found out i need a whole new engine as the bearings, cam, and metal shards are in the engine!!! So now i am making payments for 3 years on a truck that does not run. Now i have to decide if i am going to put another $5,000 into the engine!!! This truck has been nothing but problems since i purchased it. If i could give them a zero star rating i would.

GREAT Customer Service! I found a car "accidently" while looking for a car for another family member. I had no intentions of buying a car but fell in love with a sports car on Pickard Lane's lot. I am sure I have bugged them this past week with my numerous visits, but they only have been honest, polite, informative and very helpful. They supported my request to take the car to an independent mechanic, get industry opinions and answered all my questions about the car's history/maintenance. In the end I did not buy this summer "fun" car, and they were fine with that. No pressure to change my mind. When winter is over, and spring has sprung.... I will come back to Pickard Lane to find another summer gem.

I dealt with a salesperson named Summit. He was courteous in person and prompt in correspondence. Overall, I found dealing with this company to be reassuring. I was able to go a for good test drive; Summit stayed late to make that possible. As a result of their attention to customer service, they earned my confidence over a few days and I purchased a vehicle and it was delivered as expected on time. I'm not from the area but I would consider going back if they have vehicles I'm looking for. My only negative experience in the process was with the garage used for pre-safety inspection. I had a set up an inspection as asked but Summit called around and found a garage that could get it done faster, but more expensively. The appointment was made on my behalf. They had an expensive recommendation in order to pass safety which I declined - expecting to deal with this problem with my local mechanics. Turns out that that recommendation may have been unnecessary. Buyers need to be aware that under this system with pressure to make a decision, you can be taken advantage of by garages you're unfamiliar with. Pickard Lane Leasing offers no protection from this (if that was possible, it would be great for out of town customers!) I appreciate that the vehicle offered was in good shape and we concluded a deal. Picked up the car, no problems, detailed and smelling like new. So far, so good!

Purchased a 2013 GMC Terrain from this dealership on finance. Prior to purchase we were not made aware that this vehicle has an oil consumption problem, needed all new front brakes, has a pressure buildup problem in the crankcase, dying power window motors, summer tires with slow leaks, the list goes on. Purchased this vehicle for $10,000 on a finance plan for 4 years. Purchased this vehicle less then a year ago and now we are stuck with this lemon for the next 3 years, mean while in the next 6 months it will probably be sitting in a scrap yard. The sales representative never warned us about any of the problems this vehicle had before buying it from there family owned dealership. We reached out to the sales rep who sold us the vehicle numerous times over the past year and each time he was unable to help other then advising we should’ve gotten an extended warranty, in which in now agree. At the time we reviewed the history of the vehicle and there was no previous history of the vehicle having any re calls or being taken in to get work done. They even did paint touch ups over rust spots after we purchased the vehicle in order to cover it up. We are a young couple with a child on board whom has had to inhale motor oil from the heating vent, sat on the side of the road for an hour in -17 degree weather with no heat, ect. All because this dealership is not able to own up to terrible condition they sold the vehicle in. We will be taking this matter to a higher power but for now I’m warning all other future costumers of this dealership BRING A MECHANIC, Do your research into re calls on the vehicle, ask about all special warranties on the vehicle, and over all just be careful. Now we are car less, stuck with a 4 year finance plan. Thanks Pickered Lane Leasing.

We picked out the vehicle we wanted online, then thought about it for a week. E-mails were exchanged before arranging a test drive. Got to the dealership for the test drive and Mario was there ready to welcome me, got me right into the 2007 Saturn Vue (4d 2wheel dr, 4 Cyl.) very quickly for a test drive. I was pretty sure it was the car for us, and Mario did not push the sale onto me, he gave me the time to make my own decision. In fact I would have almost preferred if he did more of the talking and explain some of the features to me a little more thoroughly. Pro's Anyway, we got the vehicle signed to paperwork, and they had it ready for us a week later, safety done, and e-test done. Happy with the over-all price :)... Good fuel economy, very spacious for our needs, love the display hud, mirrors, button positioning, and sound system! Con's The Saturn did stall while stopped at a light on the way home, the gas tank was empty (despite a $40 fee for gas!) and the three ketchup packages in the glove box were an unnecessary touch.... Pro & Con mixed Possible issue with the throttle sensor. Had the Saturn for 8 days and had troubles getting it out of the driveway this morning...but I called up the dealership and Mario and the team assured me they would take care of that problem (under warranty) if it continues to act up. :)

Recently bought a truck from Pickard Lane Leasing, it was a 2008 Ford F150 chip Foose edition. This car was in immaculate condition, only had 26,000 km. They even offered me a 4-year or 80,000km warranty on a 2008!! that’s crazy! I was dealing with Summit And Anna and wow were they very polite. They helped me over a 3 week period of me constantly texting or calling them about the truck, and they would even answer wayyyyyy after store hours And on a sunday now that’s dedication and commitment. Business end was very smooth, I had put a down posit on the truck for a week, then I decided I wasn’t gonna get it so I got refunded. I week later I called Summit back to put another down posit on the truck because I just had to have it, Summit and Anna were willing to help both times without hesitation. I would definitely recommend buying a vehicle here, they have lots to choose from and they are all very nice cars most of them are full of options and have the extra sport packages on them. Excellent staff that went above and beyond our hopes and expectations. We knew what we were looking for and found our 2011 Ford Escape at a fantastic price at Pickard in comparison to other dealers. Ana was very helpful and guided us thoroughly through the whole financing process. Due to fortunate circumstances, she was even able to meet us in our neighbourhood to get papers signed - saving us a 40min trip to Bolton at rush hour time! Unfortunately we have found a couple issues with the vehicle immediately after purchasing but Giancarlo has been so kind and accommodating in helping us get them sorted - even picking up the vehicle from my husband's work so their mechanics can get the problem sorted without inconveniencing us. Overall it's been a great experience.

Terrible, A bunch of sneaky salesman! DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!! Purchased a car that had been recommended by a salesman that turned out to have a leaking head gasket, a 2000 dollar fix. I was told it was the "deal of the lot". After addressing the dealership, not even an apology was made and was told I was on my own. This was my first car purchase and last for a while thanks to the money problems this transaction has put me in. Thanks Pickard Lane! I intended to write this review yesterday, but I was just having too much fun cruising around everywhere in my new car that I purchased from Pickard Lane in Bolton! I am absolutely loving my new car and had such a great experience purchasing it. The lot had an impressive line up of nice looking vehicles, and looked well maintained. When we arrived we were free to look around without being pounced on, but staff was extremely easy to locate once we did have questions. We dealt with Gabriel who was professional, friendly, laid back, and just a wealth of knowledge! He knew a lot of information about the cars on the lot and had really great personal experience that he shared about the Subaru I was looking at. Even though we showed up later in the day, we never felt pushed or rushed. Gabriel was thorough and informative, and if he wasn't available a pleasant lady named Anna looked after me. Between the two of them absolutely nothing got missed or fell through the cracks, they looked after everything for me! I highly recommend Pickard Lane! I had been looking for a particular vehicle for some time now when i found 'the one' i wanted at Pickard Lane. I had no idea who they were or where they were but visited and found the whole team to be very friendly in a casual way. I purchased my car from them knowing it would take a few days to finalize the paper work and pick it up. It was ready soon enough and the hand over was a great experience. At the time of pickup there was an issue with the remote entry key that came with the car- this caused a couple of issues for a day or so, but Pickard Lane quickly arranged to have this replaced at their cost. I am very pleased with the car and with them. I would use them again.

I recently purchased a Lexus RC 350 from Pickard Lane Leasing. The experience was great. When I was planning to buy a Lexus RC 350, I decided that I would only buy it from a Lexus dealership. When I saw the posting from Pickard Lane I just wanted to give it a shot to gather some info. After a call with Mario, I felt much more comfortable to consider not to limit myself to the dealership. Mario is honest and very open and patient. We went through all the details and comparisons with what available on the market and finally we could come a price point we can start with. Pickard Lane posted the car as certified and actually they did do the inspections and did all the work to ensure it passes – they put on 4 brand new tires etc. I was kind surprised that they do all kinds of repairs and detailing from their shop. There was a cigarette butt burn on leather door panel, as part of Mario’s promise to make the car look like new, they did great job repairing it, it was almost unnoticeable after the repair. One thing I noticed that they don’t usually do cleaning and detailing ahead of time, which I think it’s towards buyer advantage. You see the car in its original - without makeup. When I finally picked up my car, I was so happy and excited that it is just like new… The only thing was not quite ideal is that there are some small paint touch-up jobs were done in rush. It was not a big deal and I re-did myself when brought the car back home. The financing and paper work went quite smoothly. Anna is extremely nice and could explain to me all the options and get the document done quickly. Overall, the experience was very pleasant. From all the small things they did (e.g. put on two very nice licence plate protection covers, which I didn’t ask for) I can tell that they do want to make their client happy in all aspects. Mario and Anna are honest and professional and I can fully trust Pickard Lane for my next purchase or refer to my friends.

I phoned the office at past 4 pm on a Saturday , -27C weather and asked to look at a car. They were scheduled to close at 5pm and yet they waited for me to arrive (i was driving from downtown TO). By the time i got there, the two cars i inquired about were being warmed up and ready for me to test drive. THAT was customer service. I knew I’d buy from this place. That is the difference that makes this company very pleasant to deal with. They want your business and they show you they appreciate your business. I highly recommend Pickard Lane Leasing. It’s so worth it to come all the way there! Again, special thanks to Mario who made sure i was able to pick up my new car on the day i wanted it and to Anna who’s helped me with the paperwork and answered my buyer’s questions! We've had a really bad experience with this company. We bought a high end pre-owned SUV (Landrover Discovery) from here less than 3 months ago. Pickard Leasing provided us with a clean report and assured us that it has no major issues. It's our primary car that the family uses . 1 week after bringing it home, the car wouldn't start. We called Pickard Leasing and were impressed with their prompt service. It was towed to a mechanic and once again they assured us that a new battery was installed and we should have no more trouble. A few weeks later, again the car wouldn't start. We called road side assistance and even they couldn't jumpstart it. When we called Pickard, they said our warranty period is over and they can't help us anymore. We are now stuck with a car that seems to have a major issue, which I am now sure that Pickard Leasing knew about but withheld information for a quick sale. Stay away from here if you're looking for a safe family car.

I am one very UNHAPPY customer at this moment. In February we bought a car that was in "mint" condition as per sales person Mario as it only had 165K on it. We test drove it and everything seemed fine and bought the car. The hot weather comes along and the AC does not work. I started hearing horrible knocking noises in the car's engine and when I took it to the mechanic(whom we trust implicitly) we were told the engine was totally shot and requires a brand new engine. Upon taking out the engine and putting a new one in, they find that the compressor on the AC is gone as well and that needs to be replaced tool. When we the dealer to let them what had happened as we not had the car for even 4 months, they said they could not do anything for us as we did not buy their extended warranty and the safety was only good for 30 days. Buyer beware as I am now stuck with $3k repair bill after paying $10k for the car. You can be sure we won't be recommending them to anyone of our friends and family.

I went to the dealership today looking to purchase a 2015 wrx, I called earlier in the day about my visit and the man over the phone said that he would have to take the cars out of the showroom but there were no issues. When I got to the dealership after my 1 and a half hour drive I went in the showroom to see the 2015 wrx that I had called about still in the center of the showroom with no indication of it trying to be moved for a test drive. I was then told there was no way I could take it out for a test drive, that's a weird way to sell a car I thought but then I looked at a 2011 sti by the Bay doors. After some conversation I was told I could take it out for a drive only after I was approved for financing. I then went though the financing process with Anna which was the best part of my experience, she told me all of my options and was very transparent with me. Unfortunately after I was done doing my financing no one was around the showroom to assist me for a test drive of the sti. I left with no intention of returning, if it was not for Anna I would rate my experience a -1/5. Oh well I'll spend my 35k somewhere else I suppose.

First of all they gave me a 1000$ for my car that I was trading in claiming that’s all they could pay but then turn around and sell it in there lot for 4 grand. Second of all the car I bought they gave it to me with the gas light on , brakes needed servicing, and the back struts needed replacing.

Absolute Garbage! Total slimy used car sales. Bought a car in 2010. Here is my story Test Drove the car and the salesman lied to me about the rust spots being repaired, he said it was a recall on the paint which they fixed. My fault for not catching on. Went to pick up the car and they took off the Toyo all season tires and switched them out for some crappy no name summer tires. They said the Toyo's were worn out. The week after I drove it off the lot the check engine light came on and the car would sputter and stall I took it back and they ran diagnostics and said nothing was wrong. 2 trips back and not fixed I took the car to my mechanic $1200 later the problem was fixed but that was also when I found out that the car had been in a severe accident. By the end of the year the car was rusting on the rear wheel wells and under the rear brake light. Long story short they are liars, and its my fault for falling for it. Hopefully you will read this and be smarter then I was.

He wasn't pushy about anything and had everything ready when we went to pick the car up. The car we bought has been fantastic no problems at all. I would buy from them again.

Be very careful. They kept my deposit. I had a budget in mind and looked at their website and found a car within this budget. I called and they told me to come the car is here and told me the price. I even tried to negotiate the price over the phone but they said to come, test drive it and have a look and then we can discuss price. When I got there after a very very very long drive, they told me that car was sold! (they tricked me into coming to their dealership) Anyway a pushy salesman Ignazio Battaglia, called himself Iggy got me hooked on another car and I told him it's a bit outside my budget and I need to make financial arrangements since I cannot afford it. He said to put a deposit to hold it and told me I will get my money back if I cannot get financing. He said sign here, here and here and didn't provide me any opportunity to read the fine prints. The next day I called them and said I could not come up with the money. The attitude of that salesman changed right away. He said the price is not so different from the 1st car and its just a little bit extra. I said I cant afford this little bit extra. He then said my deposit was lost and he cannot do anything about this. I drove there again and this time talked to the manager Frank who refused to give me my money back! On my way out Iggy even told me that I should take this as a life lesson before signing anything! I have learned a lesson to be more cautious before signing and trusting the word of these crooked type of car salesmen at Pickard lane. Luckily, I found a good car salesman at another car dealership which offered me better service and value for my money.
