Was looking online for vehicles to purchase. Saw this one. Booked a tested drive online. Customer service followed up by email and phone, as did the dealer i would be working with. Got there and car was ready for me to go. Was a little dirty do to being new trade in. The dealer was nothing but nice and honest and upfront about the car before seeing it. Assured me would be clean following test drive. The dealer allowed me to take the car for over an hour! Other dealerships that were also Chevy only allowed a 10 min test drive (which is useless). Liked the car. Put deposit to hold. Dealer and manager even lowered price for me to get it into my budget!! Winter tires and rims included! 4 free oil changes also! They cleaned the car and fixed some cosmetic issues before sending it home with me. Followed up for satisfaction of car and overall awesome service and great people to deal with. Made to purchase stress free and did not feel pushed into any purchase. My dealer was Sam B. Again great dealership, people and hassle free purchase.

Booked a test drive online and did most of the deal over the phone, which between living out of town and COVID restrictions helped a lot. We got a fair trade in value and was able to close the deal. Everyone was friendly. My appointment was booked for when my schedule allowed me to bring it in. I was offered to be dropped off and picked up while my car was being fixed and when it was ready. Gave it four stars because I was told it would be the afternoon and that they would call me to let me know when it was done. Well 4 o’clock came around and I hadn’t heard from anyone. My husband told me to give them a shout. So I did. And when I called to inquire about my car, and as customer service looked it up I was informed “oh yah it’s been done and ready”. Ummm okay, thanks for the call. And when I went over to get my car, I went to checkout and they were not ready with my paperwork. However, I am very pleased and that was my second time going there. Staff are great. And I would recommend them.

Had a tire change appointment book for 11am didn’t get my car back 3:15pm which made me very late for work. One time they forgot to drop my car off to me when It was done and I waited an extra hour for them to go get it. I had a light that was hanging from a broken clip and it took them three times to fix it properly.

Recently traded in two vehicles to swap for one certified pre-owned (downsizing). Granville took care of us with care and professionalism from start to finish. He went above and beyond to ensure that we received max. value on my trade-ins, and went out of his way to assist with shuttling my vehicles back and forth as I did not have another driver to assist. Staff at OMS are always friendly. But almost 4 weeks to receive a part, even under warranty, is too long. GM needs to do a much better job. No one wants to drive a new vehicle with defective parts. This was a very frustrating period.

I was told 14 days after my collision. That was February 26th. I got it back today April 7. 5 minutes of driving it I took it right back. He told me know one test drive it. It’s grinding when accelerate. Wobbles when I break. When I turn off the stop/start feature it grinds. They over looked my rim that’s bent the rear door isn’t flush. They put my ashtray in the centre console. Lost my middle bench seat covers that I bought from the dealer. I called my insurance and told them it needs to be taken somewhere else. I’m picking the location. Will never go there ever again. Will never take a partnered insurance collision centre recommendation again. Absolutely ridiculous.

Poor service. Poor handling of issues. Disrespectful service manager. Purchased 3 vehicles from here and was in the market for a used car for our daughter, we went with VW instead. My experience absolutely fits in with the notorious reputation dealership service centers have, overcharge for work they don't properly do. If you decide to purchase from here I suggest you find your own mechanic for your service needs, unless you have money to burn. UPDATE: Dealer has responded below, to the review, stating they'd still like to work with me on the issue. My review is based on the Collision Center. The paint job they did on my car is 5 Star, like it matches amazing, better than other shops hands down I've been to. The repair time is also 5 stars, as they got my car in quicker than anyone else However, the actual repair itself is only 3 stars. They did not take the time to align my bumper correctly so its gap on one side is nothing and a larger gap on the other side, in addition they did not reinstall clips they removed from my grill. So now I am out some grill clips and have a bumper that is not exactly aligned, both are not huge things are everything else is 10/10.

We had an extremely unprofessional and disorganized experience at this place. We drove all the way from Toronto to test drive a vehicle and for a meeting we had organized a few days in advance. We were even sent the name and picture of the sales rep we were assigned to. After driving for an hour, we were told that the vehicle had been "literally just now" sold out to someone else, whereas we were not able to find the vehicle listed online the day before, meaning it was probably sold out earlier and someone was just not responsible enough to give us a call and cancel! My feedback and advice for the team here is to learn to respect people's time and also when you mess up, be honest and own up. Definitely not going back here! This experience deserved "0" stars. What a total waste of time!

They simply asked what I was looking for, then printed out a sheet of available vehicles and let me check them out and look at anything I wanted. 2+ hours for a lube oil & filter Zero regard that they smashed the driver seat infront a carseat Minimal COVID precautions. Mechanics maskless, no paper or cleaner/sanitization like I have had experienced at other GM dealerships. Update: was planning on calling service manager today, assisting service manager called. We went over the experience and will bring it to the teams attention. Hopefully improvements happen. Mechanics don't need to wear masks unless working close to each other or in your vehicle.

Not happy with the service/parts department. They charged me literally $441 for an oil change and to clean mud off of my tires/ brakes. Don't even bother buying a warranty with your vehicle as it covers NOTHING! I also dropped my vehicle off at 10 am and picked it up at 3:30 pm .... So it took all day to clean mud off my vehicle ? What a joke. Never coming back here again. This isn't the first bad experience I've had. The only thing good I'll say about this place is that they are very organized for the most part and are quick to follow up.

My wife and I purchased a used vehicle here. The price was reasonable and the service was great. We chose to get a warranty and got four oil changes included (mandatory for the warranty). At the oil change they always also pump the tires, inspect underneath, and give the buggy a wash. They use the visit as a chance to upsell other services, which is normal for garages. Overall we are satisfied and would recommend.

The folks in the used car section work hard for you. I came in asking for a very particular car, with specific packages. I was looking for a top trim model of an impala that stopped production last year. They searched and went to auctions, and hunted through dealerships, and wherever else for me, but there was nothing. Over the course of nearly 2 weeks they kept in regular contact, trying to find me something, that I wanted. FIND ME SOMETHING. They were willing ti work to hunt a car, rather than tell me "just what's on the lot". The used section worked to find the exact car for me. They ended up finding a really great deal for me, on a 2020 Malibu, with only 8,000km. They worked hard, and got me a great product. I cant say enough good things about Sam, Granville, and their manager Scott, for supporting me in my search. Will definitely be working with the folks at OMS next time I'm in the market for a car.

Highly recommend Sales Manager Sam Bianca at OMS. He was patient and prompt in responses to our concerns regarding a GMC Truck. Sam even went above and beyond to take the truck to an independent mechanic for inspection for us. He dropped off and picked up the truck and answered all our questions to the best of his knowledge.unfortunately the deal did not work because we were not satisfied with the discovery upon inspection and it was beyond the dealer threshold to meet our requests. So the deal did not work out. All this being said, I still recommend Sam for his efforts. OMS as a company, I will reserve my opinions.

Dropped my Equinox off for service early morning before work and the shuttle took me to work immediately. Upon pickup, shuttle was prompt. I had no wait time to retrieve my car despite it looking busy. This was my first service during CoVid times and I felt that all precautions were taken. Sanitization of car after service was offered and the employee who drove it up to me had gloves on as well as mask, etc., and the seat was covered with plastic which he removed. Very happy with my service. First time there since we left other dealership due to a move.

I was given a 9:00 am appointment for winter tire change and possible alignment. Had to call at 4:00 pm to follow up. Within minutes received a call back that my vehicle was ready. Customer service should include customer contact: why was I not called with a status update? And why bother with an early morning appointment time if the service will not be performed until the middle of the afternoon? Communication is the key to customer service; I should have been called. After the 4:00 pm call, I asked for a shuttle service to pick me up. 40 minutes later the shuttle still had not arrived. Again, customer contact would have provided an update of known delays. Again, I called back only to be told the driver was just about to leave. By this point I had enough of delays (which caused me to miss another appointment). I told them to cancel the shuttle. Fortunately, my wife had recently arrived home and took me to pick up my vehicle. Obviously, I was not happy with this treatment and much of the frustration could have been avoided with a little more customer contact.

Received a complementary oil change from GM with the purchase of my 2021 GMC Denali, a week later I noticed oil on my driveway. I called and had to take my truck back in. I was told it was a faulty gasket. No apology was given at any point. Disappointed in level of customer service!!! Update: I was immediately contacted by Stewart, Service Manager. He rectified the situation immediately and took complete ownership. He has rein-stilled my faith in OMS, thank you!!!

Service advisor John was great! Got a ride home and a pick up after service was completed - they called me when the car was ready and had already arranged a ride. However, I was a little perturbed that my seat memory setting was erased. It takes me forever to get it just right and someone at the dealer erased the #2 setting to make their job of getting in and out of the car easier. If it’s not your car, don’t mess with the settings.

I called nurse in Whitby, and they told me my warranty (power train) is covered up to 160k.(2024). I have never heard from anyone, including my own experiences that oms is a good place to go when you need help or info on your vehicle especially from service desk! Would not recommend.

I don’t know why they make you make an appointment. I came in for my trucks first complimentary oil change. I dropped my truck off at my appointment time of 9:30 expecting to wait 1/2 hour - 45 minutes. Nope. They said it will be a couple of hours. They didn’t even have a shuttle available to take me home. They said it would be an hour or so for the shuttle. I ended up walking 45 minutes home. Expecting a phone call around 12/1 pm, No way, I had to call them at 4:00. They said they were just working on it. No shuttle to come pick me up. Walked another 45 minutes. Yes the oil change was free, but come on, 7 hours to do it. I have one more free oil change. I’m probably not going to use it if I need to give my truck up for a whole day. When I finally got my truck back, the outside was washed and clean. However, my steering wheel, my door handles inside and outside were sticky and so was my gear shifter I ended up wiping the whole front interior of the truck down. I thought that was the dealers job. Covid Protocol. Im very unsatisfied. I should have listened to all the other reviews.

Always had good experiences at OMS, oshawa and that’s the reason I always go back. I wish it didn’t cost money to go there to have professionals trained specifically on GM vehicles. I feel comfortable and confident my vehicle is in good hands when I go there. Piece of mind knowing that they will figure out whatever problem is wrong that caused me to bring it in. Knowing that is 1/2 the battle the other half is knowing that it is fix with the proper quality parts my vehicle requires to be safe to be back on the streets and it also deserves. There tools, training, knowledge and garage are busy constantly for a reason! You pay for what you get!! In this case it’s trained professionals working on a domestic vehicle that they are trained with the top of the line tools and computers and are familiar working on. Overall as long as I drive a GM vehicle that is where I will go to have it serviced and fixed. If I’m planning on buying a new GM vehicle that is with out a doubt also where I will go. Comfortable waiting areas, friendly staff and they offer a shuttle if it’s gonna be a while or you have other places you would rather be!! Terrible customer service and below average cleaning standards. Came to look at a pre- owned trucks and they all had the GM “Enhanced Vehicle Cleaning” stickers on them. Tell me how there was a cigarette in the back seat of the first one. Cigarettes ashes in the vents in the second truck. Pet hair in the third one. Greg was condescending and incompetent. He tried to lie to us and said no one smoked in the second truck we looked at, yet the ashes were clearly visible in the air vents. (See attached for photos.) Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

I'm not usually the type to leave negative reviews. This is just a situation where I cannot believe this can be called normal business practice. After 2 months of waiting for an ordered vehicle. I was turned down from picking up my new Escalade while I was half way from Ottawa to the dealership. I was texted saying the manager will not sell me the vehicle since I'm also in the car business. Apparently GM dealerships are afraid of exporters... Somehow this is my problem? The General manager gets to decide who he thinks is a risk. When someone plans to spend 150k at your dealership you don't screw them at the finish line. On top of all of that he doesn't have the courtesy to call me back and follow up knowing that im stuck without a vehicle. Dave Baker is not a professional. Very condescending and rude on the phone.

Besides the regular maintenance done at this dealership with a good price and a free wash, Chris from the body shop was able to fix and align my fender and rocker panel perfectly and paintless. The price was the best I got in any dealership/body shop I went before. I am extremely satisfied, that team fixed my “baby” car like new, after 2 years of getting bad quotes and uncertainty. Sales people are great to deal with, but you'd be better off paper cutting your eyelids rather than going back there to have them look after any issues! If you like having an ongoing relationship with a dealer you buy from then this one may not be the one for you. (In response to owner) I'm sorry but I tried 3 times to contact a manager have my issues dealt with. Even left messages twice. No one ever returned my calls. For the most part everyone at the dealership is friendly, but its unacceptable to not look after a customers concerns. Especially after trying 3 times to resolve the issue. I was very nice on the phone, was never rude, never raised my voice, and asked politely for a return call. Unfortunately I have since sold that vehicle and have taken my business somewhere else, but I do appreciate your response.

Fairly good experience. The brakes were squealling so I had to take it to another dealership where they replaced rear brakes and resurfaced rotors. This should have been done prior to me purchasing the vehicle. They also ordered 2 new belt mouldings to correct the squeaking and condensation window issue, and lubricated rear seat rails.

Very nice to have car picked up and returned . Unfortunately the service man was not familiar with the service schedule for my car because it is a Kia Soul (purchased from Ontario Motor Sales and warrantied under them) regarding fluid replacement. He said since I purchased it in December he would assume they had been inspected then ?! ???? Also when I purchased the car the battery died the next day. CAA said it was the original battery and was not holding a charge. Apparently that isn’t checked as part of the used car checklist. The dealership agreed to pay for part of a new battery and the salesman who sold me the car paid for the rest out of his own pocket which was very nice of him. I love the car but am questioning my decision to warranty under GM if they are not qualified to service it.

The car is great for sure, but the process was managed professional, and more importantly personally, in such a manner that each step (which was new for me) was disclosed and explained without making me feel like a dummy. Customer service - Level 100. Car - I have no idea how to use all the functions even though I had a thorough run down. BUT I know I can call with ease when I’m ready to explore them. It’s not today for me. I’m 36 years old and I do not know how to Bluetooth people. They’re great, highly recommend.

THE 7 HOUR OIL CHANGE My buddy and I had big plans this afternoon but first he said he was bringing his car in for an oil change for his 1130am appointment. Now my buddy is pretty punctual so he dropped off his car at 11am, that’s where the punctuality ends in this review. Hours go by so he rings them up, they say the car will be ready for 4pm! Turns out they’re “swamped” and his car isn’t actually ready until 6pm! Oh ya they also did a tire swap and told him 5 of his lug nuts were swollen and they’re charging him 6 bucks a nut! Now I question if these lug nuts were ever actually swollen, but if they were this is the only place that has ever touched his lug nuts so obviously they’re the ones who caused the damage. Anyways thanks for wasting my afternoon while having to wait for my friend. The best part is he told me he’ll be a returning customer just to make me laugh, ya buddy I’ve been laughing at your expense all day! Got some new rims installed and a couple of campaign (recall) jobs completed. Overall good experience. Competitive on the price and seems like it was a quality job. They left the lug nuts from the winter tires in the cup holders (would’ve appreciated them in a bag instead). They didn’t clean the gunk (sealant) from the rim/tire joint. Both of these details were the difference for the fifth star.

You should have a procedure where the customer can do a COMPLETELY Non-Contact Drop Off and Pick Up, unless there is an absolute need for a signature to OK a job. You should fix your final cleansing procedure as when I picked up my vehicle there was a problem and the fellow was unable to give me vehicle the fogging as normally done. I ONLY do Non-Contact Grocery, and Curbside Pick Up in other instances, for over a year now.

I would have preferred for my service technician who was booking my car to have asked me, “Would you like your tires cleaned before we store them & it costs $20.?” Instead he said “we will be storing your tires & cleaning them for you” plus he rhymed off other services I was getting. I believe he was trying to sneak in what I believe to be unnecessary service and cost.” The year before I paid for tire cleaning & did not see any difference when they were put back on after storing. Dana was absolutely clear with what they offered and did not pressure me into buying anything I did not need. I will immediately say yes the prices are a bit high, however I always recommend staying within your budget or what you are willing to spend, so for me, the cost was well within my range. The truck was prepared and ready on time and I was actually able to pick it up earlier than schedueled. So far there have been no problems to report regarding the service, in the event this truck needs work under warranty, I will update my experience with that side of it. Overall I have nothing bad to say about this dealership, very respectful staff, and strong attention to customer service. I would highly recommend this location if you are looking for your next buy.

I called to inquire about a specific vehicle I was directed to a gentleman by the name of Sam. Sam was very accommodating to me to view the vehicle. As my wife and I pulled into the car lot. The vehicle was already running with the A/C cranked ready to go for a test drive. During the test drive I experienced a couple issues I felt would need to be addressed before I considered buying the vehicle. Sam assured me that the issues would be addressed and once they were asked if I would like to test drive it again. . He then introduced me to his manager who also assured me that those issues would be addressed and invited me to revisit when they get the car back from the mechanic.I fully intend to. Both gentleman were very sincere in doing what they could do to make me happy. I have not bought the vehicle as the are just sending it out to have the issued delt with but I fully intend to retest the vehicle once they get it back. I have nothing but trust in Sam and his manager they seem like very honest people and am happy to deal with them.

Took the car in for an oil change and tire rotation. Was told it would be about 2 hours. Went away came back in 2 hours and the car had not moved. Over 3 hours after the time I dropped the car off it was finally ready. I don't know why I made an appointment when it couldn't be taken at that time? The staff were very good. It's just frustrating when you're told appointments are booked according to the amount of time needed for each appoint. My appointment was for 9:00 am...how could they be that backed up with only being open an hour plus I had an appointment. When the car was done I went to pay only to find out that after being told when booking the appointment that I would not get the $40 off deal because I didn't have the right GM visa. When I called to book the appointment they never said it had to be a specific GM visa. I realize they don't have as many staff in on a Saturday which is fine so don't book so many appointments? After getting my car back the oil gauge wasn't even reset.

My engine light came on 4 days ago. I was working shift so couldn't get my truck in until Thursday. Of course when I was driving it over to the dealership the engine light had gone off. But they are able to see the history of the code. It was to do with low voltage to the ignition system. They had run into this before, a wire between the body and frame had corroded due to friction. Thankfully I had bought the extended warranty, it was all covered. While there I had some fluids flushed. The mechanic recommended I don't drive the truck until they fix the electrical problem, took them a bit longer than expected but it was all fixed. I've always had great service at Ontario Motor Sales.

STAY AWAY! Absolutely disgusting service practices at this dealership. We have taken our vehicle in to this dealership on numerous occasions for warranty servicing only to have the mechanics purposely cause damage to the vehicle that was not there prior to dropping off the vehicle, and then claiming that they happened upon the damage. Then they want hundreds or even thousands of dollars to repair the damage they've caused! At a servicing appointment today a mechanic servicing our vehicle broke our drivers' side window mechanism. The vehicle was taken in to the appointment for a completely unrelated matter that shouldn't have warranted the mechanics touching the windows. When asked how he happened to notice that the window was off its track and the mechanism broken, the mechanic admitted to fiddling with the window to open it during the appointment. He then claimed that it would cost more than several hundred dollars to fix the now broken window mechanism. It is minus 25 outside and we've now got a broken drivers' side window with noticeable wind noise and pressure when driving - this because the dealership refused to own up to their mistakes and repair the damage they caused. This is the second incident of damage caused by the dealership on parts that weren't even to be serviced on the vehicle during the appointment. This is criminal practice to treat your customers like this (senior citizens at that), and then blame the customer. Shame on you!! With no remedy and no apology from your dealership we will consider legal action against you and will be contacting media sources to ensure other customers don't get scammed by your unconscionable and unprofessional practices!

I took my Cadillac SRX in for a scheduled oil change and to have a screw removed from a tire on February 10th. For which I had a appointment. I was told that I could not wait inside in the waiting room, which I completely understand. However, I was also lead to believe that there was no shuttle service available at the present time due to covid. Coming from Ajax I had no way of getting home, so needles to say I had to wait for my vehicle. I was left standing outside in the cold for almost two hours for a simple oil change and a screw to be removed from a tire. The part that really annoyed me was while I was standing outside in the cold waiting for my vehicle I watched as numerous people were being brought in to pick up their vehicles by the same shuttle vehicle I was led to believe was not available because of covid.

There was never any pressure to buy or upsell from him, other than the fair warning that the car I was interested in may not be there for long due to the vehicle shortage, but it was a legitimate warning rather than being pushy to sell. The finance manager I dealt with, Catherine, was less helpful. She was pushier about upselling and didn't mention the cap on the amount available for 0% financing; however the finance manager who was on site when I purchased the car quickly explained the discrepancy and fixed it immediately. Bought a car, they took it in for it's safety certification (in house), it passed. A few days later I picked up the car and noticed on my drive home that the brakes were terrible at mid to high speeds and clearly unsafe. Asked both the salesman and service desk if I could bring it back to get checked out. They refused to look at it and insisted the brakes were fine. Another shop looked at it and determined that to be a lie. Before purchasing I was told if I had issues on my way home to bring it back. In the end this was not the case; I received no help and had to pay out of pocket for their error.

I went in to have multiple services done including a brake cleaning. I was told that the caliper on the left rear brakes were seized. $300 to replace plus the time they had already put into it. Then it turns out no, it's just a slider pin and they were able to rotate that out and clean the brakes. So I'm thinking this is a pile of lies topped with a cherry. I brought my car to a smaller Mechanic whom I trust. Turns out neither rear brakes were cleaned/ serviced at all. That cost me about $400 plus the work my smaller mechanic does to complete the job they didn't do. Completely dissatisfied and I totally would never trust them with anything other then an oil change again.

I found out when I arrived that the wait time for my vehicle was going to be much longer then I was told when appointment booked It was due to employee illness so I was told I would have appreciated a call to inform me of this as I am from out of town and had to wait till it was finished With the covid situation I would have likely rebooked the appointment I would also like to have seen someone cleaning the waiting room area more frequently as people left I was there approximately 5 hours and no one came in to clean the area

I bought a used Jeep from OMS. The sales representative Sam was very helpful during the buying experience and would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a vehicle. However,, when I went to finalize the purchase and pick up the vehicle they had needed to swap the tires and rims that were on the vehicle when I saw it and test drove it for certification reasons. OMS did provide the original tires and rims with the purchase. After driving the Jeep off the lot the low tire pressure indicator came on. Was told to book an appointment with service to take it in and check if the wheels they installed even had sensors. Took it in and service said they had no way of checking a Jeep product and told me to take it to the local Jeep dealer. Checked with them and was told the TPMS may need reprogramming at a cost of $75 or would need to break down the tires to check for sensors. Response from OMS was..I received a free set of tires and rims and they couldn’t rectify the issue. Was very satisfied at time of the sale..now not so much as I contemplate driving my recently purchased vehicle with a trouble light in the dash or add to the expense or the purchase to fix a problem the seller should have taken care of as part of the sales. Be advised if purchasing anything other than a GM product from this dealership.

Absolutely terrible service. Brought my vehicle in for an oil change and service check. I dropped off my vehicle just after 8:00 am. I told them I just needed the car by the afternoon. I phoned at 2:30 pm to check and they still needed an hour. At this point I was worried that I would not be able to get to an appointment by 5:00. Finally after multiple phone calls I was able to get a shuttle and my vehicle by 4:45. Thankfully I phoned and was able to accommodate my appointment. My car now wobbles a bit with the wheels. I guessed they missed that in their check. I bet I’d have to pay if I brought it in. $140 for an oil change, check, stressing over appointments and a vehicle that wobbles. I would have at least appreciated an apology or offer to maintain my business. I’ve been going to OMS for years out of loyalty and convenience and this was by far my worst experience.

Service is very poorly scheduled. I booked an oil change and factory recall two weeks prior to my appointment and when I showed up at 10:45 am for my appointment I was there till after 1:30 pm. What’s the point of booking in advance if you can’t keep to your schedule. I understand 10-30 mins off. But 3 hours ? It’s not like I was getting tough things changed. It was an oil change and a factory recall on my XT5. I was told it’s tire season and left with nothing else but to sit there an waste a good chunk of my day. The person scheduling should really work on organizing the mechanics day a lot better as I will not come back here for an oil change again let alone any other service. Several other customers were not happy as well during my 3 hour wait. It seemed the staff was more concerned about their subway order than moving cars in and out. GM is really going down hill and they have no one to blame but themselves.

I must say, of all the GM dealerships I've dealt with, this was the best new vehicle purchase experience I've had.
