Darlene was very pleasant to deal with. We came from Saskatoon to purchase a used vehicle and she was able to work well to get us back on the road quickly. Disappointed with the service department. They had installed a new windshield on the van and it was done poorly and I will need to get another one installed to remove the windnoise. Also, during their inspection they did not make note that the remote starter does not work.

So I had a review that stated two stars, and that it "was just a dealership" but I've recently had another experience that was filled with nothing but good service, I had an issue with my vehicle that was catastrophic, something happened during the repairs that cause more work to be done. So they gave me a vehicle to drive, ended up doing more repairs than was originally planned. And was still ended up being quoted around the same price. They kept me informed the entire time on what was going on, and that I wasnt surprised. I haven't gotten the final bill yet. But I wouldn't expect that anything in this review is gunna change. Very satisfied with everyone in the service department. If they're reading this, you guys are doing a good job. Cheers.

Received a call about a recall on our Chev Silverado 3500 and our 2011 GMC 1500 for passenger air bags. Murray's was able to book both trucks to be completed at the same time which saved us from making 2 trips to Moose Jaw. Both vehicles were ready before lunch. They provided us with excellent service. Love dealing with Murray GM.
We very much like the truck we purchased however, the post purchase detailing of the truck before pickup, was way below other dealership standards. There is dirt and grease on the interior roof, there was mud under the front seats from the back seat area and all the front seat rails were caked in mud. The carpet under the floor mats wasn't vacuumed or washed. Other issues, such as getting the tonneau cover sorted out so it would lock and popping the dent out of the rear quarter panel was very much appreciated.

Utterly brutal low ball on my trade. 2k under the book value... Avoid. Very old school sales approach that makes most people's skin crawl and gives complete validity to the reasons why people hate car salespeople. Run for your life from this place folks. UPDATE: My wife and I drove from Saskatoon. One hour after we left the dealership and were back on the highway, I get a text message from the salesman saying that he worked on the sales manager and got him to come up another $1000 on my trade. See, now the thing that bothers me is two-fold: a) Why didn't they come up on the trade value while I was there? b) Buying a vehicle does NOT have to be a confrontational process so this dealership should have treated my wife and I fairly from the outset. It is beyond insulting in this day and age when everybody and his dog can access fair trade values for their vehicles online to low ball well below the industry standards and below the very tool the industry uses in auto valuations: the Canadian Black Book. They used the Canadian Black Book when I was in the business and often a sales manager would come out to meet the customer and literally show them in the book what it says their car is worth wholesale. I have asked numerous car dealers: what is the tool you use in determining trade values and I've been told each time, The Canadian Black Book. I even grabbed my smartphone and went to the website to verify that it was the same Canadian Black Book they use and each time, the dealers have indicated that it was. So, it begs the question, why would a seemingly reputable dealer like Murray GM deliberately low-ball? And herein lies the problem with the entire industry: it is a racket and frankly, it's time the Competition Bureau of Canada take a good hard look at the industry's business practices. There is no standardized way in which dealers approach valuing trades, I am certain of that now. As a result, this means they are controlling information the public does not have access to and as a result, that puts auto dealers at an unfair competitive advantage over consumers. I teach sales training for a living. I know the ins and outs of the art of the deal. This particular dealership needs to significantly invest in appropriate sales training and systems for its staff so that folks aren't placed in a position of being insultingly low-balled (with no justification, I might add other than "well, we gotta put new tires on it, we gotta change the oil", etc. This does not have to be a confrontational process, ever, yet this dealership seems mired in old practices that perpetuate the reasons why people would rather get an enema than have to deal with crap like this when they're looking for a new vehicle. It is unpleasant. It is unfair. It is, frankly, a vile method of doing business that should be banned in this country because it is so unfairly stacked against consumers. I will be filing a complaint with the Competition Bureau about this dealership.
Murrays helped me out a few years ago when I had trouble with another make of vehicle. I always wanted to return their helpfulness, so I was pleased to work a deal for a new trucks a few years later.

I had a decent experience at the dealership although I will say that I ended up with buyer's remorse on the Finance Office extra warranty purchases. They made it SOUND like the extra warranty was a condition of the finance contract, which may have some element of truth but certainly the finance company wouldn't care if I lose a set of keys and have coverage to replace it for no charge. Anyway the pressure to purchase the extra warranty is HIGH and if I had it to do all over again I wouldn't have bought the warranty, even at the "major discount". Be prepared for exactly what you are buying when they turn the heat up in the finance office! Even though I was aware of these tactics I caved because of the "only $7 a payment" approach and I know better. Lesson learned. I'm not blaming the dealership for this, just be very prepared when it comes time to sit in the finance office, this is where your good deal can fall apart! I'm still giving them 3 stars because the decision was mine to make and I will do better next time. Keep the discussions on point pertaining to actual cost NOT how much per payment.

Sometimes I wonder about certain businesses getting high reviews. Murray GM was one of those. That is, until I went to look at and purchase a vehicle. I had the fortune of connecting with a salesperson extraordinaire. Ms Sheena Dreger was more than willing and able to assist me without resorting to any sort of high pressure sales tactics. Her professionalism ensured that I got the vehicle I was after at a price I was willing to pay. Working with Mr Jason Sather to look after the financial aspects of the sale was equally professional. Both have a great sense of humour, which made the whole transaction even more enjoyable. Ms Dreger fulfilled all promises made. Highly recommended team to anyone looking for a great deal! (This thing would only let me give 5 stars.....I would have given more)

got my windshield done. got a poor job .brought car here n waited 3 hrs to get told they didnt have the window gaskets n id have to come back the next day.went back again waited 7 hr for the install , got home 2 days later noticed the job was bad n went back. for a third time. they fixxed it n instead of returning my deductible they gave me an oil change. cost me a tank of gas and approx 12 hrs of my time waiting there. crystal glass messed up my window and gave back my deductible and bought me lunch and filled my gas tank for my bother. customer service should be paramount at a dealer. the guy was nice n fixxed the job but i still think i got shortchanged as i live an hr away so it cost me basically 8 hrs of driving and 12 hrs .
Their sale team when I was truck shopping 5 years ago was terrible. I have taken my vehicle in for service and they were great. For the sales side I do not recommend. For their service I recommend them. Could have been the salesman I was dealing with at the time too.

Had a bit of a glitch last time we had our car fixed. Had to take it back for more work as problem was not resolved. It happens. Problem was more extensive than they thought it was. All is good now. It was an extreme cold weather problem.

Was able to get us in and get looked at quickly and Staff was friendly, but completely misdiagnosed our vehicle. They claimed we needed a new ECM and sensors when what was actually needed was $100 egr valve.

I had searched for months looking for a new truck to meet my needs with style, looks & finance. One day I happen to stumble across the website of Murray GM in Moose Jaw and just gave them a call about a truck that had caught my eye. For them not knowing me at all or if I was even financially available for what I wanted, the sales rep seems to go out of his way to get me what I wanted. The vehicle I called about had sold but he said he would get another one in. Then where he was getting the truck from, they sold it. So, they found me another one. My sales rep Sheldon, was not pushy, there were no hidden costs & he was very patient, friendly & informative. I am now a proud owner of a new Chevy Red Rally Editon. I was traveling a long distance(1400kms) when I had an issue with my new truck, the service staff took us right in and got us back on our way in less than an hour. We had never been there before but they treated us like long time customers. Alyssa in the service dept was excellent, there were others involved but I don't know they're names. Great Service I have only owned my 2011 Equinox 2 LT since October 2013 and have had several problems with it. I am not satisfied with it but I appreciate the service I have received from your dealership with regards to fixing the problems. GM has met me half way on this last problem and that is appreciated as one shouldn't expect these kinds of problems from a relatively new vehicle. This dealer has a terrible policy for courtesy cars available for their customers who are from out of town and would like to run errands while their car is being worked on. Any other dealership has no problems lending a loyal customer a loaner for a few hours. Save yourselves some time and get your services done elsewhere.

I have taken my truck in to Murray Chev for oil changes, for lift kit installation and when I had an error code for the engine showing on my dash. Hugh was the service person that took my vehicle in each time. I got it back on the promised time with the work properly completed. He was courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. Surprisingly knowledgeable about Saabs. I've brought 2 through the service centre for inspections and minor jobs, and they've always explained their work. Usually get pretty honest answers about what sort of upcoming maintenance/repairs are needed, but my only complaint is that their quoted prices are abnormally high. Also preferred their old shuttle, as the new one smells like an ashtray.

I was pleasantly surprised at the excellent service. One tire sensor was reading inaccurately and when checking all 4 sensors they found a tire losing air rapidly .Tire was fixed,sensors recalibrated and car washed all within an hour .Great job Matt,Kierra and team.(Matt actually wasn't there but it's his department )I think the fellow doing the tire repair missed his lunch break to help me out.

Received great service from the vehicle service team regarding my old vehicle, as well as from Brenda & David in sales in navigating through the process of deciding if it was time to get a new vehicle. They provided me with some great options and helped me select the right vehicle and options package(s) for my needs and budget.
Over an hour and half for a prescheduled oil change. Friendly staff, horrible service. I prebooked and when booking told them I had to be on the way quickly. They took my appointment then had no staff to do the oil change nor the filter needed for my vehicle even though they were aware I was coming in advance. Haven't ever had an oil change take over 30 minutes EVER at any dealer, even when pulling up with no appointment. Do not come here for services. The car wash DID NOT add to the time. I was told you had no one available AT THE TIME I BOOKED so they washed my car in the first hour of me being there. I ALWAYS always have my car washed with an oil change and it has never taken over 30 min total. Lying does not make you seem better lol.
Sheldon was awesome from start to finish. Sheldon is an honest, Enthusiastic, informed, patient and hardworking guy. We bought late in the day and Sheldon and Jason willingly stayed late to help us finish up. We love the vehicle and are very pleased with our experience from Murray GM.

It was without a shadow of a doubt the best car buying experience I’ve had ever. They have a wonderful team and I was treated incredibly. I’m from Winnipeg. From the time I bought the truck to the time I had the vehicle in Winnipeg was less than 24 hours. The truck was transported from Moose jaw and arrived in Winnipeg absolutely spotless. The communication and level of service I received was absolutely top-notch. I can wholeheartedly recommend dealing with them. I am so enamoured by the service I received that I talk more about the service to people then the actual 2019 Sierra that I bought. The service outshadows the vehicle. Lol On my next purchase the team at Murray GM will certainly be my first phone call. Well done!
I was looking for a specific truck (regular cab, long box 4x4) and found a 2016 Sierra at Murray GM. I had one of my best vehicle purchasing experiences ever at Murray GM. Staff were helpful and courteous and worked quickly to get me on the road for my drive home. Leon
Very pushy staff. They wanted me to drive an hour out to them just for basic information... Also, they send out very suspicious phishing like emails. If you get an email from them that is just a link saying “click here” DO NOT OPEN IT, IT IS NOT SAFE. All in all... they have some very questionable tactics.

Consultant Ryan looked up to see if there was a recall for the repair my truck needed to have done .That afternoon my truck was repaired at no charge to me as the result of Ryan's great care and service.
