UPDATE: Is it not funny how they are answering everyone's reviews except mine? That is because they know they are in the wrong and Cheryl is avoiding returning any of my calls or voice mails.
Be aware of this dealership committing fraud. I bought a 2 year old Jaguar XF-S from this dealership through Arun and was told the vehicle has zero issues. When I received the vehicle, I got it inspected and it came out with multiple big issues. They towed it back to Montreal to fix the issues, but when I received the vehicle, the engine still had a noise and the lock sensor on the front passenger door still does not work. I brought this up to the sales manager, Raphael Betten, where his response was "Bull****. the engine does not have a noise". I proceeded to tell him I have a recording and took it to the Jaguar in Ottawa who confirmed the engine noise and the handle not working. He stated to get it fixed here as it is under warranty, so when I replied who is going to provide me a loaner, he told me to get one and he will pay for it. Oh, that is after him bad mouthing the dealership in Ottawa for running out of loaners and calling them "pieces of sh**" and only doing this because I did not buy the car from them, when realistically it was tire season. We are now January, I am still having the same problems with the vehicle. The sales manager Raphael received my bill for the rental and is only agreeing to pay 20% of the bill leaving me with a huge rental bill, even though he never booked me a rental and told me to go get one myself to be reimbursed, never set a limit or kind of vehicle and I called to confirm that he will cover the rental beforehand again and he said "yes book it we'll pay". Not only this, but he constantly curses and is remarkably rude no matter what tone you speak to him with, even if you're not arguing it is as if he is literally ready to punch you. I do not know if he's miserable in his life but he needs to learn to not take it out on clients, and to be honest I do not know how the General Manager has his as a sales manager.
I filed a complaint with Jaguar Canada who is now getting involved, and will be speaking to a lawyer to sue this dealership for fraud and selling me a car under fraudulent pretences if I am not reimbursed and this issue is not resolved. I'll be also filing a complaint with consumer protection branch of the Québec Government.
All I am asking is my rental be fully reimbursed and to have it completely fixed as it was sold to me in this condition, and if not to take the car back and give me my money back including the rental reimbursement. It is not that difficult of an ask. Is it really worth risking a law suit against your dealership for this over a rental reimbursement that is basically a business tax write-off anyways?
