Well, she took my call, so that deserves 1 star in my opinion. I called service to schedule a 24,000 km oil change/service, and was told in a rude voice "You don't have an account set-up with us". I have no issues with the phrase, but the rudeness wasn't necessary. Once we got past that, she offered a date, and I replied by asking if they had a shuttle service. After a 10 second pause, she responded "what day did you say you wanted again? Sorry, I'm doing two things at once here". It's at that point I said thank you very much for your time, but I'll take my car elsewhere. I wish I had taken this representatives name, but I'll admit I was a bit flustered by the poor customer service experience, I decided to say thank you and hang up instead. The reviews on here must be generated by employees or PR-type agencies CBC recently did a documentary on (regarding writing fake reviews). I purchased a vehicle here. Middle of February 2012, they sent me home with all season tires (illegal in Quebec, they must be winter tires - I'm originally from Ottawa and didn't know any better). Not only were they incorrect by legal standards, they were the wrong size for the car (too small) posing a risk to my (and my passengers') safety. They allow test drives to take place with such tires compromising your safety (I’m happy I left the cam on my iPhone recording during my experience to substantiate that claim). They utilized a form of entrapment when the sale was occurring. I was paying cash-in-full as it was a used car under $12k. They forced me to pay a $600 non-refundable deposit prior to me signing any documents and prior to me walking into their, what I assumed was a finance office (even though I made it clear I hadn't any interest in anything additional and that I will just pay for the car in total in one bank draft or certified cheque). No - not allowed they said. They needed my non-refundable deposit. Excuse me, but if I don't get delivered a car that satisfies the laws of the province, and most importantly what was initially advertised to me, they shouldn't receive a penny. Customer is King - that's a phrase that might be too difficult for them to bite into, I should bear the ability to revoke any contract when I actually see the delivered product if it is not as described. Try arguing with them, most of them that work there have little to no education, so it's a rather comical experience (like watching a dog chase its tail). The sad thing is that you are out the door and they are still going in circles. I'll look elsewhere when I decide upgrade (as should you or be bold enough to put your foot in their face and threaten to walk – easier said then done for a born and raised non-Quebec/non-Montreal North Canadian).

Unlike most car salesmen out there, especially used car salesmen, what I liked about Peter is the fact that he is very straightforward and honest, he saves you time by not playing cheap sales techniques on you and gives you all the details straight. He feels very trustworthy and I thought I wanted to buy my car from Honda Gabriel because of Peter, if he found me the right car. J’ai demandé à M. Mourad Amine de m’appeler après l’essai routier, ceci n’a pas été fait. J’ai autorisé 1h de diagnostic, il en voulait 2. J’ai reçu l’appel de M. Mourad, il a commencé à raconter un discours sur le système électrique hybride de recharge du véhicule, je l’ai coupé et lui ai demandé s’il avait réglé mon problème. La réponse a été NON, votre véhicule n’a pas de problème, le technicien, le meilleur du pays m’as-t-il dit, as fait l’essai routier et a ressenti le lousse, et as passé plus qu’une heure pour vérifier ce lousse, qui selon eux est normal, et provient du système de régénération de la batterie, mais lors des 12 000 premiers kilomètres, ce lousse ou sensation n’était pourtant pas présent. J’ai déclaré mon mécontentement au téléphone et lui ai dit que je ne payerai pas la totalité de la facture car cela n’as pas de sens de charger 1h de main d’œuvre pour un problème inexistant, selon eux. J’ai mentionné que je payerai 30 mn qui est tout à fait honorable de ma part, je n’ai pas demandé de gratuité,. Le conseiller était confus et as signalé qu’il n’avait pas l’habitude de travaillé sur des Clarity. A mon arrivé M. Mourad Amine m’as servie et a demandé si j’avais des questions, j’ai réitéré ma volonté de ne pas payer la totalité de la facture, et j’ai demandé à voir le responsable du service. M. Patrick Parisé c’est joint à nous, j’ai demandé M. Parisé de discuter en privé, il a refusé froidement et as voulu faire ça au comptoir. Je lui ai demandé de coupé la poire en deux en service satisfaction client, le dialogue était très fermé de leur côté, j’ai été ouvert a payé la moitié. M. Patrick Parisé m’a demandé pourquoi il me ferait ce plaisir de baissé la facture, j’ai répondu comme le problème n’avais pas été trouvé, il serait logique et commerçant de faire un geste commercial. Sa réponse a été « VOUS N’AVAIS MEME PAS ACHETÉ LE VEHICULE ICI, SI VOUS L’AVIEZ ACHETÉ ICI J’AURAI FAIT QUELQUES CHOSE ». Mais quelle est cette politique de discrimination, de pression ….un Client Honda est un Client Honda quel que soit son achat initial. J’ai mentionné que je devrais aller plus loin avec des plaintes aux services concerné. j’ai payé la totalité de la facture et récupéré mon véhicule avec des traces de doigt noir sur le montant du pare-brise. Pourquoi le meilleur technicien du pays as-t-il vérifié un problème inexistant selon eux. Un simple essai routier aurait été suffisant. 1h de vérification a été chargé pour essaie routier, demandé vérification de la direction/suspension, non demandé vérification des code d’erreurs, non demandé vérification mise à jour , non demandé. Aucune mention de la vérification des supports moteur et transmission, demande initial. J’ai fait vérifier par un de mes technicien le support moteur en question et le support est grandement et anormalement affaibli en marche avant ou arrière, même à l’arrêt. Ce qui écarte le mode normal de la régénération de la batterie. Je vais devoir faire appel à un autre concessionnaire, faire une plainte à Honda Canada et aus services concernés.

Charles Leduc is one of the worst rep I've met. Ordered a $60K car with taxes 2 months ago and was promised that I'll get it by Nov. No news ever since the signing. Left messages, emails and no response. Inquired to see if they would provide any loaners while my current lease is ending and have to be returned. Nothing. Totally ignoring my calls and emails. Tough pill to swallow when you are ordering the most expensive car in the Honda line-up when you are treated like a disturbance to him. Do not deal with him or this dealer. Have buzzing noise from dashboard occurs at cold-damp weather since the purchase of brand new honda Civic 2016 (purchased August 2016). Salesperson went on drive with me and we were able to identify the noise together but didnt know where it is coming from. Took the vehicle twice for servicing at dealership, they were not able to diagnose so no fix. Smells exhust inside the car when stopped at traffic, they said it is normal for new car. Sold 10 years rust proofing package, said they will apply rust proofing coat every 2 years beacuse layer thins out. Today I requested to check rust coating. Service department said additional coat will be applied only after 7 years. It would have been better if I took my car for rust proofing each year instead of the scam package, would have assure regular monitoring and application based on condition of the car. AVOID this place. Service is non existent. I book appointment online, they cancel later saying website is new and has glitches. Well website is there for few years.

When I told this to sales person (Julies) who sold this car to us he simply gave me a local mechanic number. Director sales have heard my complaint but never bothered to get back to me. This was my first ever experience to buy a car in Canada and it's the worst. At the time of purchase they gave me free winter tyres, and free petrol for first time though Go to them at your own risk. It is recommended to either buy extended warranties on used cars if you wish to purchase or go for new cars. Or get it checked with your own experience mechanic before buying it This was my life lesson that I learnt.

My whole experience at Honda Gabriel with the salesman Nicolas was amazing.
