Figured I'd come back here a couple of months after my purchase & chime in to help any potential customers who may be concerned by this dealership's rep. Price - 5 stars. The price on this vehicle was ~20% lower than most of these were selling for. I was skeptical about the price & was nervous that it may reflect an underlying issue. In retrospect, having not had any issues, I attribute the price to being a result of the dealership having just reopened after the area was under lockdown. Customer experience - 4 stars. I’d break the overall customer experience into 2 categories: the general experience & the negotiation/sales process. 1. The general experience - 5 stars Throughout my experience the salesmen were a pleasure to deal with. When I first test drove the car, I became interested & wanted to take it for inspection. The local mechanics, however, had just opened after a lockdown & had a backlog of other obligations b4 they could conduct inspections. The sales team offered to reserve the car for me until I could book an inspection ~a week later. I don’t know if they would’ve sold the car to someone else had they offered to purchase it on the spot, but I returned about a week later & it was there for me to take to inspection. 2. The negotiation/sales process - 3.5 stars. After test driving & inspecting the car, I’d decided I’d like to negotiate a purchase. a) The car passed inspection. b) The dealer provided a Carfax report which I independently verified to be accurate & undoctored. The one thing that was a bit unsettling about this process was that every time I visited the dealership after first seeing the car I’d be subject to a comment along the lines of "it's good that you're here because someone else just called about the car", "3 people came to see the car today!" and, this is a verbatim quote of the salesman when I came to take the car for an inspection, "Someone just saw the car & they went home to pick up their wife so she can see it too". I hated this. This is a transparent pressure tactic that is far more juvenile & sleazy than it is effective, & almost scared me away. After declaring my desire to negotiate a purchase, we sat down in their office. I offered a price ~ 10% less than what they were asking for. The salesman told me point-blank that this car typically sells for about 20% more than what they were offering it for, & that the price is non-negotiable. The would, said the salesman, offer to include all tax & give me the car for the asking price all-in. Having done my research before, I could not argue that the car was being offered for less than it typically sells for, & agreed to the all-in price. (They did this by lowering the purchase price by 6.5% on paper, & charging me the original asking price in cash. This way, I technically buy the car for cheaper & pay some of the tax for them. On my end, I get it for the asking price all-in.) Now here's the contentious part. Being new to Canada, I wasn’t familiar with how their taxes work. Though the dealership covered the QC tax, which typically gets paid @ the dealership, I had to pay an app. 12% tax at the motor vehicle department. I hadn’t known this, & the dealership told me that they didn’t intend to include this tax in their "all-in" offer. I believe they could’ve been clearer about that, & they maintain it’s self-understood. I still went ahead with the purchase as the price was still competitive & would chalk this up to a possible misunderstanding & not necessarily bad salesmanship. Post-purchase - 5 stars. I’m thoroughly enjoying the car. At the pre-purchase inspection the mechanic told me it would need new brakes. I've since replaced those. In the ~2 months since I purchased the car, I've driven it almost around 1,000 miles having taken it from MTL to NYC & back. I’ll do so again in a few weeks. That is a lot of driving, & I’ve enjoyed every minute. If you do your own research and an inspection, this is a good place to consider. (I just hit the 4,000 character limit. ;)

Terrible customer service with poor communication skills. I’ve been talking to this guys about getting a vehicle .The car they were selling was on summer tires. I leave in AB and travel to BC very often and mention that we have a law that states that you must have a winter tires from Oct to March or even May I believe. I asked for a discount on the price and made my offer. Not sure if there was a language barrier and they didn’t understand what I was talking about or this is just the way they do the business, However id not recommend anyone to deal with someone so unprofessional. This is their reply only friendly email: Classe auto reply: First of all, please don't tell us what the law says about winter tires, specially when your knowledge is very poor. By the law, a dealer can sell the car on summer tires and the client will have 10 days (the same time as the transit paper to change them). So now, you know what the law says. Secondly, by ethics and respect for yourself, don't ask all these questions and let us spend all the time to answer, then give us this unreasonable and insulting offer. We don't steal our cars. The price is 11000$ not negociable. Please go and look for a car in your budget far away. And good luck with the rubish you could maybe find some where.

So the gentleman reassures me that my taxes will be returned as soon as I ship the car out of the country; that it will be enough just to give them the B13. So thing said, done thing: after shipping I recontact him to send him the B13 proof of the export of the vehicle. Except that in return, the gentleman tells me that they can refund the taxes provided that the name of their company evening mentioned before the car on the B13 (something apparently that is not required anywhere by the government). De retour chez eux: je leur explique le problème, j'ai presque été insulté comme quoi il réparait la voiture et rien de plus (alors que le disque de frein aussi déconnait mais littéralement). Du coup j'accepte au moins qu'ils réparent la clim. 1h après ils me rappellent de venir récupérer l'auto. J'arrive, à peine s'ils me reçoivent. Ils font mine de ne jamais m'avoir croisé. Ok j'attends l'auto qui finalement n'a jamais été réparé ! J'ai dû le faire à mes frais. 2. Pour la facture, le mec m'a demandé s'il pouvait baisser le prix réel de l'auto sur la facture (quelque chose d'illégale qu'ils proposent à leurs clients afin de payer moins à l'État apparemment) afin de soi-disant me faire des taxes plus bas (qu'il devait me rembourser de toute façon vu que la voiture devait être expédiée hors du Canada). Moi étant profane de ces types de deal, j'ai accepté. Donc le monsieur me rassure que mes taxes seront retournés dès lors que j'expédie l'auto en dehors du pays; qu'il suffira juste de leur remettre le B13. Donc chose dite, chose faite: après expédition je le recontacte pour lui envoyer le B13 preuve de l'exportation du véhicule. Sauf qu'en retour, le monsieur me dit qu'ils peuvent me rembourser les taxes à condition que le nom de leur entreprise soir mentionné devant l'auto sur le B13 (chose apparemment qui n'est exigée nulle part par le gouvernement). Après moult tentatives et discussions avec eux; j'étais dans l'obligation d'abandonner l'idée de récupérer ces taxes dans le but de me préserver parce que je dois le dire: tout le processus d'achat avec eux n'a été que disputes, prise de tête et manque de considération. Pour finir, je dirai à classauto qu'obtenir et fidéliser ses clients a un prix: un service client et après -vente convenable.
