I was looking for a vehicle at this location, I had my own vehicle for me to trade in. Got to start speaking to a salesperson and they were firm that they do not move on their prices with their vehicles. Totally understood that if that’s where they do business that’s fine. I also asked if there was anything else they could do other than to offer $4000 for my trade in. I also made it very clear that I wasn’t concerned about financing due to my credit score being great. Now the salesperson goes to his manager but comes back with finance numbers instead of looking into upping the value of my trade in. My wife then emailed the manager because we had known from her friend that her experience was just great with recar, she had said she got a couple grand off the car plus received a cheque because they didn’t have studded tires for her vehicle. I was not looking for the same outcome but similar experience. I wanted a compromise from recar to show me that I mattered as a customer. We had fought to try to get an additional $1000 for the value of my trade in and I felt that I had to do their job to get my own vehicle. Unfortunately they let me walk without initial compromise, I asked for a second set of tires but nope nothing, that’s fine if that’s how they work. I’m not labelling all their salespeople, but I will state that my experience with my sales person was a struggle, it was all about numbers to him and I just wanted to feel like I was worth their business. I felt when I was talking to them about a better price, they should’ve came in with a better trade in value rather than showing me financing numbers that to me was irrelevant in my decision making to purchase a vehicle from them. I was not being heard at all. I will also add what was sort of a red flag for me, that if they don’t negotiate pricing and they don’t do gimmicks such as tires, how come that my wife’s friend received discounts etc and I couldn’t get much more than a higher trade in value? Either my wife’s friend misunderstood or she was misled. It is unfortunate since the truck was a great vehicle to purchase, no doubt they have great selections of quality vehicles, but there will be other trucks from other dealers, so I’m not that desperate to purchase right away. Being in the sales business, customers buy from you, not solely just on product.

Great car should have checked it more carefully. 5k clicks after I got it, $1500 brake job. I called in to ask if they could help, my salesman called back and asked about the issue. He tells me he will see what he can do, puts me on hold and comes back to tell me they cant help but would refer me to their go to mechanic. but no help.

I was really impressed with the service at ReCar. I had just moved to Moncton and needed to get a car as quickly as possible. Before moving, I arranged an appointment to test drive a car I had seen on their website. Although that particular car sold before I arrived, Brett helped me find another suitable car and arranged to have it brought in from their location in Fredericton. I was able to test drive it the next day and the team worked quickly that afternoon to finalize the sale so that I would have the car for the long weekend. They took care of the licensing and registration, and they even delivered the car to my hotel. The only minor hitch was that some of the features in the description didn't exactly match. The discrepancies we're minor and related to features that didn't matter to me, but I would suggest cross-checking the trim level descriptions on the manufacturer's site if there are specific features that are important to you.

I Put a low review because i was looking for a Subaru Outback, and i was travelling from Halifax to Moncton just to look at it. they then told me only when i was at the store that the car moved locations, and i put the review up for that reason. the review was then TAKEN DOWN for no apparent reason. dont waste your time with these clowns.

I was recently looking for a new to me vehicle and decided to give ReCar Moncton a try. After shopping around at several dealerships and pre-owned car dealerships, I found the best value and quality at ReCar. I had sold my vehicle privately and the staff at ReCar were very helpful by going above and beyond what I ever imagined by taking care of the transaction and the paperwork. Even though I made my purchase in a very busy time for them, my experience was bar none the best. I felt that the staff responded efficiently to my requests and needs. The car I purchased was originally on the ReCar Fredericton lot and without hesitation, Brett made the arrangements to have it delivered so I could make an informed decision at no additional cost. At first I was somewhat skeptical with the company's policy on fixed pricing, however after doing some research throughout the province, I was satisfied that the vehicle they were selling was well below the competitors advertised prices. The small aesthetic concerns that I had prior to purchasing the vehicle were quickly addressed and the in-house 1 year complementary warranty made my decision even easier. From the manager to the sales person, I felt confidence in the process and the products they are selling. I usually purchase new vehicles but after having such a positive experience and saving a pile of cash, I will definitely be a returning customer in a few years. Thank you ReCar Moncton!

I have never purchased a pre-owned vehicle before and was not too sure if I should do this. After dealing with ReCar I can only give the Moncton ReCar location (Elmwood) very close to Costco, a five star but feel they should have a 10 STAR. The sales reps were very helpful and I wanted to see and try out a vehicle that I felt I wanted and they went out of their way to have it driven down from another ReCar dealership for me to try. I was impressed with what they were willing to do. While waiting for the vehicle to arrive, it gave me an opportunity to see the vehicles on the lot. Many makes, colours, and prices to choose from. The information that was given had the total price. On their website you could see the prices before even arriving. What you see is what you get, other than the warranty. There were no pushy sales representatives around meeting you and saying what can we do for you before you even reach a vehicle. I dealt with Brett, very friendly, and very knowledgable about the different vehicles. He made you feel comfortable. With speaking to Brett I informed him what I was looking for and he gave me many suggestions on what vehicles to try but never pushing me to like it or buy it. The vehicle that was brought down for me I decided not to get but did buy another vehicle from ReCar, I am very happy with my purchase. The paper work and financing was very fast and I dealt with Brian. Very friendly as well. The team is great. The experience was seamless. If you need a pre owned vehicle, you will not be disappointed. The experience that I had was wonderful and worth going back for another vehicle. The best experience ever. I am from Halifax and I was looking online for a used car and got attracted with one of the advertisement by ReCar Moncton. So I called them and was lucky to get Nick on the line. He is the best sales person I ever met. He helped me a lot to get the best deal for my trade-in car. Later I spoke with Brian for financing and he was also very helpful in getting a competing interest rate for financing. This whole purchase happened all online. They despatched the car to Halifax and informed me and the same driver took the trade-in car back to them. ReCar Moncton confirmed that their car was 170 point inspection passed and shared me few proof of that, hence I was confident of buying without seeing the car in person. Later they sent me the certificate of registration to my address and I got it registered here in Nova Scotia. Overall I would recommend ReCar Moncton, especially Nick and Brian to anyone who is looking for a used car for a competitive market rate. Thank you guys . Happy 2021.

I've dealt with Nick there and I am not one to change places to purchase vehicles. I've always been a Mazda guy and recar has changed that. I will be going nowhere else and highly recommend them. Any issue I have had or even just a question they have answered I've even texted Nick at midnight and he's always texted or called back. So if your looking to purchase a vehicle head on down to recar and ask for Nick Vanbeek. He's a straight shooter and does not give up easily he will get you into something nice and good and at a very affordable price.

We dealt with Brett for our salesman and James for financing. Both went above and beyond any expectation we had! I've had some not so good experiences with other dealerships in Moncton & their "no pressure car sales" were second to none. James went through all of the paperwork in depth, including the add ons we purchased. They were both so patient with all of my questions, including the questions I had asked Brett before I looked at their dealership. We'll definitely be buying our next vehicle through them. Unprofessional. I was planning to trade-in my old 2006 Porsche Cayenne and buy a vehicle at this place. Jessica helped to estimate the trade-in value of my car but she didn’t text or contact me to let me know the price like she told me 2 weeks ago before I left. It’s ok, we forget things all the times. I missed her call and she missed my call again. This morning I stopped by Recar Moncton on the way to Costco to see if Jessica is in office but it’s her day-off. There were 2 guys at the office told me to call her back, I called, she missed it and I hate bothering someone on their days-off. So I went in and told them she did not pick up again. The thing is NO ONE hesitate to stand up and ask if they could helped me instead. One of them even just sat there using his phone and told me ‘I am texting Jessica right now’. I’ve been working in customer service for over 7yrs and using your phone in front of a customer is very unacceptable. It’s ok to use your phone when nobody was there but I WAS THERE AND LOOKING FOR HELP. You definitely can help me out if your co-worker is off, instead of telling me to keep calling her. Sorry, I wanted to look at your used Porsche today if I knew my trade-in value. Again, Im not blaming anything on Jessica as she was on her day-off. I am very upset and Im gonna drive to Porsche Halifax and spend my money there instead, you just lost a 50k sale. Never come back!!
