Poor quality service and long wait to get your car service. I went in at 10:30 to have my winter tires installed and after an hour I went to the service desk to see why it was taking over an hour to install 4 tires that were already on rims. I was told there was a wait for the alignment machine.(Honda cannot afford more than one or two alignment machines). It would had been nice of the service desk personnel to come and let me know of the situation. After another 25 minutes of waiting and learned that nobody even looked at the car. Wasted 90 minutes of my life. I took my car and left. The last 2 years have been a terrible experience at Moncton Honda location. I will never buy another Honda and I hope I never have to return to that location. Update: I did return to Moncton Honda because of the faulty AC in Civic 2017. Took Honda 4 months to fix my AC under warranty. When I went to picked up my keys after the repair the employee did not say Sorry for the long wait for the repair or even offer compensation. I called Honda Canada and Honda finance for compensation now I'm only getting the run around, there saying that it is not there issue call someone else. After 3 months still waiting a call from Honda relation.

I went to Moncton Honda yesterday with a friend to buy a used Honda Accord listed at $17000. We drove the car and liked the vehicle. We sat with the salesman finalize the price. He kept providing options for a bi-weekly payments and terms. We were repeatedly asking for the total price of the vehicle and interest rates that they used to come up to the bi-weekly payment that they were quoting us. This Sales guy always go to someone and gets a revised payment plan. So finally we had to say that we need the breakdown or else we will not be able buy the vehicle. Then opened up about all breakdown. He told us that we will be qualified for a 8% interest rate. That does not make any sense especially when he didn’t even run a credit check. He thought since we are immigrants and we don’t qualify for a good credit. We lived in Canada for many years and bought numerous cars and owned houses in Canada. This insulting and outright racist. I would be happy if he ran a credit check and then come up with the number rather he just assumed looking at our skin. This same Honda showroom sold a car to me 3 years back for 3% interest rate and he is not aware of that. The worst thing is yet to come. We then told him that we will pay cash and buy since the interest and biweekly terms does not make any sense. Then he went and got his Manager MARK PLOURDE. He said if you have to pay cash then you should be paying 25k for the car. Then we asked the same question- please breakdown the price and explain what we are paying for. He added 700 since he don’t finance with them, 1400 for winter tires which we never asked for, 500 additional warranty which again we never asked, 800 transaction fee not sure what that is, 300 registration fee, and additional fees of another 350 and tax. He was so reluctant to discuss the breakdown and we had to ask him to repeatedly to slowdown so that we can note down the prices. Then he said buy if you want to and we don’t negotiate. He said in Honda we never negotiate our prices and we can leave if you don’t like the prices. He then just left while we were still sitting at the desk. I really felt disrespectful and outright insulted. He thinks that we could not afford a car?? What is he even thinking of?? I want to understand- is it a crime to ask details of what we are paying for? Isn’t this the duty of the sales person to explain the details? How can he treat us like this? Then I went to his office and questioned his behaviour for which he said we don’t discuss the prices and negotiate with customers. He said sorry if you feel this way but you can happily leave if you don’t to pay for the price. NEVER EVER I FELT SO OUTRAGEOUS AND INSULTED. HE IS EITHER TRYING TO CHEAT US AND WE CAUGHT HIM OR HE IS A RISIST. EITHER WAYS MONCTON HONDA -YOU SUCK AT CUSTOMER SERVICE

Although Jean Marc was very pleasant and attentive while trying to sell the vehicle after the sale there was no follow up in two days as promised and I wanted to buy a set of Honda mats for my new to me CRV and he told me he would get a price for me and I have not heard from him once since the sale. Funny how fast things are done and answered before the sale but not after. I was promised two things as a customer who just spent a lot of money on a vehicle and have not heard back from Jean Marc. So two stars missing for the two things you did not follow up on. There is nothing worse than getting great service and then realizing you only get that kind of service before buying - not after. It makes the entire transaction seem completely insincere. Because of this I will likely try another salesperson who can appreciate and treat me with excellent customer service before and after the sale.

Even when I needed to get my wheel bearing replaced they made sure it was covered (just bought it 3 days prior to needing to get it fixed). Not happy with Honda's Service. Paid for the best warranty and first trip to get something looked at and they want to charge me to put it on computer. That is what I paid warranty for! If there is a problem, you are suppose to fix it. Also asked them to check about my radio making static noises and they said they never heard tell of it lol. I looked on the internet and it is pretty common. Always was a GM guy and this is my first Honda, great vehicle so far but not appreciating the nickel and diming from the service department.

Hi there,in the past I've bought a civic hash back then I bought a new 97 Odyssey and my last vehicle a new 04 Odyssey.My question is how come there's no recall for the transmission the overdrive has been acting up for the last 4 years . A rattle in front end , I change every part in the front end and finally we figured that the the noise stops when we down shift transmission in 3rd gear . I'm not the only one with this problem this should be a recall .I'm shopping around for a new vehicle and I'm not sure if it's going to be a HONDA . Yours truly DONNY !!! Maybe I should spread the word !!!!

I have gone to other dealers before this one and didn't receive any service at all from the sales staff; I was looking at cars at the other dealers for about twenty minutes to half an hours and the sales reps flew right past me as if I weren't even there. When I went to Moncton Honda, I got served within a few minutes of arriving. The sales people and receptionists made me feel like I mattered to them. That is a big plus. Their after sales service is also second to none. They won't repair something that doesn't need it just to charge you for it like some dealers do. They also have fair prices and good service staff that are pleasant to deal with. I don't have anything bad to say about Moncton Honda. I'm on my second Civic that I bought from them, and I'm very likely to go there again when it comes time to replace my vehicle.

Staff is friendly and service has been excellent in the past but I was shocked to learn that they charge $80 for a spark plug that can be bought for $30 online (same genuine Honda part#)! Next time, I’ll buy them online and have my local mechanic change them for half the cost.

Glenn, The Civic is outperforming even our highest expectations. Handles amazing well, and the fit and finish are top notch. We are averaging 45 miles per imperial gallon. The Civic is a solid, well built car. This is our third Civic and we've loved all three. In addition, we were very happy with the Moncton Honda experience. Can't speak for the greater dealership but whomever runs the used car lot is bush league. Posting cars to Auto Trader website with stock photos, not responding to customers when questions asked re: vehicles of interest, etc. Does not inspire confidence in the dealership that's for sure.

I want to purchase a 2016 Honda Civic Ex, they listed it online for $17,173. A simple math will give you the after tax price of $19.784 (15% tax) + around $150 license fee, so it will be almost $20,000 The first time I visited there, the first sentence the salesman spoke was "So you will finance the car?". At that moment, I knew that is the recipe for problems. But I still played along and negotiate on finance term since the salesman suggested it. They only gave me 2 options: 5 years or 6 years. If a person have financial education, they will understand those are big No No. But well, I still keep silent and go home to wait for the car to be repaired and serviced. The 2nd time I visited there, I wanted to pay cash, I prepared to spend maximum of $21,000 since I expected there will so fee to be put in the contract. But to my surprise, they jacked up the price the moment I said I pay cash, to $25,000! I checked the contract, fees after fees and some unwanted options that was never mentioned. Me and my uncle asked the salesman 3 times whether we still have the Extended Warranty for free, he always said yes, but there is an amount of almost $3000 for that warranty in the contract. We talked to the manager, he said if I want to remove that package, he will instead charge $900. And there was some rust resistant fee which is illogically high (You can just buy a 3M rust proof coating for $60 and diy!), license fee which is $200 ??? The manager told me "You can take the car with that price or we can only return your deposit". Well, I did as he say, asked for the deposit and walk away. I understand that If I don't buy it, there would be someone who fall for it (and their money trap), so let just not waste anytime there. To future buyers who may read my review, get yourself some education about finance and car, go on youtube, search for "ChrisFix", "Scotty Kilmer", spend a week to watch many of their videos, then go out and roast those "stealership", like this one! To the salesman which I dont want to mention your name here, I could feel some hesitation in your voice. So If you cannot lie and rip off people like your boss, find a good dealer to work with, or at least find another job that you dont have to lie, and have the power to make decision by yourself LOLLLL *Edit on Aug 20, 2020: Well, I learned my lesson. So from now on if I have to do the negotiation with any dealers, I will secretly turn on the recorder so they don't go back here trying to justify themself! And thank you for you good luck, I found a 2017 Honda civic EX 2 days later at the price of 19.008 at an Honda authorized dealer, which is 6000 cheaper than yours! And they even changed 4 new brakes, 4 new tires, new oil, full gas, nitrogen in the wheel, and still have 1 year of Extended Warranty! I think you guys miss your research on competitors loll

You can drop your car off in the morning and get their shuttle driver to take you to work . He said in Honda we never negotiate our prices and we can leave if you don’t like the prices. He then just left while we were still sitting at the desk. I really felt disrespectful and outright insulted. He thinks that we could not afford a car?? What is he even thinking of?? I want to understand- is it a crime to ask details of what we are paying for? Isn’t this the duty of the sales person to explain the details? How can he treat us like this? Then I went to his office and questioned his behaviour for which he said we don’t discuss the prices and negotiate with customers. He said sorry if you feel this way but you can happily leave if you don’t to pay for the price. NEVER EVER I FELT SO OUTRAGEOUS AND INSULTED. I found service difficult and expensive for a while with unnecessary add-ons being pushed on top of very basic service intervals. Warranty work and vehicle quality has always been great. Unfortunately, we had quite a negative experience with Moncton Honda. We were overcharged by $1000. Despite the sale price going through both the salesman and the finance manager, the error was not caught until I was looking over my papers and found they added an additional thousand (yes, a thousand) to the sale price. Salesman Blake assured me I would receive a refund, but it has now been 4 days and I have yet to receive any written confirmation of my refund despite multiple requests. Despite living in Fredericton, the only compensation we were offered is 3 free oil changes in Moncton. This experience has been extremely stressful for my wife and I. We put our trust in Moncton Honda and were let down. Also, if you are interested in buying outright, be aware that they charge an additional $700 fee, in addition to the $1150 they are already charging in 'dealership fees'. This is to force you into financing the vehicle and paying even more in interest. The additional fee for not financing is not on their website, and was not mentioned to us until after we had test driven the vehicle and offered to buy it outright. We feel deceived, let down and taken advantage of by Moncton Honda.

On 2 separate occasions, the dealerships attention to detail nearly blew up my engine. 1st was not reconnecting a radiator hose properly with the clamp causing it to come off and stranding me in a parking lot with an overheated engine. 2nd is after a recent oil change, the drain plug nearly fell out because it was only hand tightened. Had it come out, I surely would've lost all my oil and probably the engine. Have lost all confidence in this dealership and will not be returning there for service.

I left our 2016 Honda Accord at the dealer when we heard a suspicious sound coming from the front end and it was intermittent which made it difficult to isolate! Coincidentally, the car was getting serviced the same day to have the sun glass holder/receptacle in the roof replaced as it had failed and wouldn't open. A service technician came with me for a test drive, and, also the service manager. They isolated the problem of the intermittent rattle in the front end to the strut on the driver's side. The car was repaired under warranty for both problems and I was completely satisfied with the service I received that day. I just bought a used truck from Honda in moncton and it was a horrible experience. I felt like I was just dealing with a middle man of a "sales person". Anything I brought up prize wise, he had to go to his manager every single time. Wouldn't even offer any additional options(like tires, or even new wipes!). And ...when I got home and reviewed the contract there was a bunch of hidden cost that were never brought to my attention(dealership fees and tire warranty). It's not every day when you buy a vehicle, so you don't know what to always ask or look for, and it make you feel like you dealt with a "shady " dealership.

The only reason I'm giving three stars is because of the sales man Jason. He was very helpful and made buying our minivan very quick and easy. Also Ron was amazing and very helpful. Now on the other hand when we test drove our van the breaks were squeaking so we asked if they fix that we will buy it. They said no problem pick up the van tomorrow everything will be working perfect. So we go pick up the van and we drive home to notice the breaks were still squeaking and the transmission was shifting really hard. So I make an appointment with the service department. When I went to my appointment they made me sit there for 4 hours with my newborn to tell me that the breaks are squeaking because the brand ... like I'm so sure. Doesnt make much since fot a break pad company to make squeaking pad.. and to also tell me they cant fo anything about the transmission. It's good thing my hubby is a transmission rebuilder because they couldn't even tell me if it was covered under our warranty when we've only had the van for 1 month if that. All I can say is that's very poor service and very sad service to lie to someone like that. WHO MAKES SQUEAKY BRAKE PADS!?! Hire someone in the service who care about your customers. I'll never do business with this company again!

Up to now our 2009 Honda Civic has been great, only very minor issues. We got the car as we had good experiences with Honda previously in our family, and have always heard great things about it. Reliable, quality vehicles. However, on the weekend our car's engine block just cracked open and now the whole engine is shot. Fortunately we were able to get pulled off the highway safely, and nobody was hurt. I had never heard of this happening, and on doing a bit of research it seems there was a recall done for this same issue. I have contacted Honda Canada, and am waiting for them to investigate further. Hope they do the right thing and take care of this, as our car has very low mileage and has always been serviced at Moncton Honda.

I FOR ONE AM NOT TRUSTING THEIR MECHANICS TO WORK ON MY CAR AGAIN AS THEY PASSED THE MVI ON THIS CAR WITH BOTH FRONT STRUT MOUNTS BLOWN, AND I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO GO OUT OF MY WAY TO LET THEM TAKE MY CAR ALL THE WAY BACK TOO NEW BRUINSWICK, LEAVE ME WITHOUT A CAR AND THEM PUT EXTRA MILES ON MY CAR, JUST BECAUSE THEY WANT TOO SAVE ACOUPLE HUNDRED BUCKS ON LABOUR CHARGES, RATHER THEN LET MY PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT DO THE WORK. My wife and I had been online shopping for cars for about a week when we decided that the Honda CRV seemed to be a nice balance of quality, comfort, and reliability. Therefore, the following day I decided to walk in and see what kind of reception I would receive at Moncton Honda. When I walked in, I was promptly greeted by a Honda Canada representative as my visit unexpectedly coincided with a VIP sale. She was efficient, friendly, and seemed to be knowledgeable. After a series of quick and painless questions we realized that the CRV should be my target acquisition, and I was paired up with my sales representative; Bruce Graham. Bruce was very professional and he was open to answering all my questions, while taking the time to walk me through the new vehicle I was thinking of buying. As a sales rep., I felt like he wanted to help me get this new car. I felt like I had all his attention, and that he was willing to take the time to satisfy my needs. He has also been supportive after the sale, calling in to check up on us, and even taking the time to send an email on his day off. I would also like to mention that Andrea, who took care of our financing needs, was also efficient and explained things in a clear manner. It made all the financial jargon easy to digest. Jerry Porter, the new cars sales manager, also took the time to call me and welcome me to the Honda family. It was a nice gesture, and it made me feel like a valued customer. The only thing I would say that was negative during the whole process, is that the detailing (cleanliness of the car) was not up to our expectations. There was some dirt on the tires, and the plastic contour and there seemed to be some cat hair on the inside of the vehicle. However, the biggest downer of the new car was that someone else's phone was already synced to "Bluetooth". Regardless of those little hiccups, we were both extremely pleased with the service we received, and we rate the experience as a solid 5 star experience.

Our vehicle went in because there was an issue with the Apple CarPlay connection and although the issue was resolved we were charged 55 dollars to inform us that the CarPlay accessory will only work if nothing else is plugged in to any other port. This was after 3 of their employees looked at the vehicle prior to going in for service. You would think that they would be more familiar with their own product. I guess you have to pay for your expansion on the backs of your customers. Very disappointed.

Our experience here was quite disappointing. Our salesperson was unprofessional at best. He was busy taking care of other business and showed very little interest in dealing with our short appointment (which was scheduled with him ahead of time to see one specific vehicle). My guess is it was due to our interest in a vehicle that wasn't 10's of thousands of dollars (meaning less commission). He scribbled a few options down on some paper and when I asked about making a full cash payment he said the price would go up on the vehicle if we did that. When we crunched the numbers at home, I realized the down payments for each option he provided didn't even go towards the cost of the vehicle. I messaged the salesperson asking for a breakdown of the total cost, but he actually told me he didn't have time for that. I can tell you, the entire experience was demeaning and insulting. We will never be dealing with Honda again.

If I could leave a 0 star review I would. They don't even deserve the 1 star I'm leaving. I will definitely never buy a vehicle there. It was a really painful experience. I have wasted my afternoon dealing with a salesperson. The salespeople here are like puppets. Any questions you ask, they have to leave for 5 to 10 minutes to get an answer from the person pulling the strings. Between the test drive and the painful negotiations, a few hours had gone by. We finally reached an agreement by closing time. We agreed that I would bring the car to be inspected by another garage the next day, unless they found something major, I was leaving with what I thought was a great car at a great price. Then the next day as I am getting ready to leave, they call me to tell me that the car was sold that morning. Now what's really funny here, is that they had this car for about 8 months on the lot, with no recent interest. The salesperson actually had to boost it to get it started since it was sitting for so long. Then within a couple of hours of us coming to an agreement, they sell it to someone else. I wonder if they knew that there's something wrong with this vehicle, and they were afraid of me bringing it to another garage. So they sold it to someone who was taking their word on it being ok without getting it checked. On a side note, don't get fooled by their low advertised pricing, that's only to get you in the doors. They have lots of added fees to make up the price difference with other dealers. In my case, they had added almost $1500 of extra fees above the advertised prices. Update I drove by there a week later and seen the car was still on the lot. I called the dealership and they said it was still for sale.

Truck drove very well and was great on gas during my trip to Halifax. The next day I found out I had to put a water pump in it. Unfortunately one of the accessories installed by the dealership did not work correctly so I had to return the following morning. We knew our old car was on its last legs and that it was time to start looking for something newer. When we finally decided to head out car shopping, my old Civic died right in the driveway. I was already looking at used cars on the Moncton Honda website so we gave them a call to set up an appointment before we called a cab to take us down. Unexpectedly, Product Specialist Tory Hicks said he'd come pick us up and take us down. No problem. Couldn't believe it. Some would say of course he did, he wanted the sale but when we arrived he was not pushy at all. He let us look at the their used car selection on his computer and pulled around any cars that we were interested in (to view and test drive.) He was very patient with our indecisiveness and if he wasn't able to answer some of our questions, he would find out the answer promptly. I was hoping to get a used Civic but we weren't interested in the Civics that were available. We ended up driving away with a fully loaded 2016 Kia Forte that we fell in love with on the test drive. I felt that the price was very fair for what we got. Couldn't be happier with our experience at Moncton Honda. I'll definitely be going back should I need a new car. Highly recommend the dealership and I highly recommend seeking out Tory Hicks if you do decide to go.

I had to get an airbag replacement under a recall .When I arrived I was early for a 1:00 appointment, a very personable young man, Rheal Richard served me. He told me what needed to be done and that there was no cost because it was a recall repair. It was about 12:45 so I thought it would be a wait since my appointment was 15 minutes later.He told me where to wait since I was staying. The waiting area was very comfortable and Rheal told me if I wanted a coffee to help myself.At about 1:15 , I was called to the service desk. My comment was that was fast and Rheal said they always have a mechanic on duty over the lunch break so he got him to do the replacement. Wow ! So I was on my way very quickly . Service customer service reps are HORRIBLE! What happened to the old crew??? My father waited almost 2 hours for a tire repair on a faulty tire. I was here last month and was charged 1100 for brake repairs. Gone downhill big time, probably won’t get my next Honda here

Wow, first time at the dealership in Monton. Have never seen a nicer, cleaner well thought out car dealership (and my last car was Mercedes). I am from Ontario and just took my Honda in to be serviced. Was surprised how great everything was. The employees were very nice, and the ambiance was great. There was a fish tank, an outdoor dog area, a beautiful kitchen area to get a great coffee...its a good thing they did not offer chocolates and a bed or I would never have left. Thanks for the great place to stay while my car was being serviced

Went to this dealer to see a used car that was posted on their website. When we entered the dealership, no one greeted us or came up to see what we were looking for even though there were a lot of staff around. Once I caught the attention of a salesperson, we were gruffly asked for our drivers license before seeing the car. We were then asked if were wanted to finance the car. Once we indicated that we were going to pay cash we were told that the car had a $700 financing credit built into the price so we would have to pay that much over the asking price. After going through this we were then told that car was already sold and would we like to see something else. We left. Found the salesperson rude and will never return.

Rheal was my Service Advisor and as always, he welcomed me, confirmed the service to be completed, asked if I required transportation and after, explained the results of the safety inspection, processed invoice payment and bid me farewell. I will be back in October for my Type "B" service and to have my Winter tires installed, getting ready for the snow and ice. Good place to do business! April 18, 2018 In for summer tire installation, tire storage and oil change. Appointment went as scheduled which is totally normal for Moncton Honda in my experience.

This place is a rip off! They wanted $4000 EXTRA (not a typo) on a used Silverado I was interested in that was only listed as $18,000 just because I wanted to pay for the truck with money I had instead of financing through them. They add on fees that are complete BS, and just a cash grab. But the thing that angered me the most is that I pointed out that their ad on Kijiji didn't say anything about extra fees, and they repeatedly doubled down and said it did. I went back, re-read it, had my mom and my girlfriend read the ad, and there was nothing about extra fees. very deceptive advertising and they lie through their teeth about everything. AVOID!

Never buy used from these guys. They recalled my CR-V and offered 2000$ extra for my CR-V if I bought from them. Used cars are over priced and they try to make you feel like you know nothing when you try to bring the price down. They sold me a minivan with a new inspection sticker but had a broken manifold. Terrible service and no mechanic wants to work there so I've heard.

The customer service was very low, didnt expect from Honda. Our sales rep- Adam did not provide nesessary information in the first place. From the beginning it started strange. When they asked where we are from and we gave them answer our sales and other one began to laugh and when they asked where we work, I replied with company name and Adam asked do I work in a plant...after consideration of few days, we decided not to buy it from Honda Acadia, they got even worse. Manager of Honda Acadia called me one morning and even I explained that it is not a good time to connect he insisted talk now, as he will be busy after and his tone of voice and words he used were very unprofessional and rude. He didnt even answer my questions and interuppted when I was trying to explain. When he finished his part, he hang up by saying have a good day, I felt insignificant, I felt nobody. I dont know why he was so rude, is it my accent? Is it my ethnicity? Is it that I donot want to buy from them, but still shouldnt businesses, especially the big names think about long term? I asked his name, but he declined to answer. I would recomend consider Honda in Frederiction or Saint John, before contracting Moncton. Afterall we bought our beautiful Honda Crv 2020 from Sutherland Honda with much better pricing and got fast and great service.

I bought a 2016 Honda Civic in November 2018 which was Honda Certified with no damage records. A year later I went to trade in the vehicle only to find out that it had over 15,000 $ in repairs from before I purchased the vehicle which affected my trade in appraisal by 2,000 $. I called Moncton Honda and was told someone would get back to me about the issue as the salesperson who sold me the vehicle is no longer working there. No response. Overall a pretty disappointing situation, Moncton Honda has lost my trust.

Had two recalls for 2008 Honda CRV. One for door lock actuator, another for airbag. Had no issues with front passenger door lock actuator, but thats the one that was verified. I do have an issue with door lock actuator on rear passenger door which was not fixed. Wish they wouldve checked on it and at least given me feedback on it. You hear it as soon as door locks are activated, so it had to be noticed. I thought that's what was gonna be fixed.

I did not enjoy my visit and will be looking elsewhere to replace my truck. All the vehicle's on the lot were disgustingly dirty, the vehicle I test drove had months of grime on it. Ok the dealership is being remodeled and maybe they don't have a wash bay, however there is a car wash across the street, just saying. The salesman I talked to was not knowledgeable about the vehicle my wife and I were asking to look at. Not that anything my wife said was even acknowledged, by the salesman who did not appear to want to listen to a woman. I was also surprised that I had to find the salesman at the end of the test drive somewhere in the building, not as surprised as he was to see me. When I approached him he was checking his email. My comment to him about the dirtyness of the vehicle was, dismissed as "that's what happens around here in the winter". I know that but sarcasm was not appreciated. My expieriance when taking my 2017 civic for oil change and tire change was great , the girl on the phone when I made my appointment was polite and sincere. The guys in service were awesome as usual very knowledgeable and professional . Pat the shuttle guy was very busy and he still got me to work on time, and he was there to pick me up the minute he said he was despite it was during rush hour traffic. And not to mention I LOVE my civic, the best car I ever had so far I'm very impressed. Great job guys????.
