Awesome experience!! I was originally looking for a car where I currently live down in Windsor but the one I wanted was sold out. I was told finding one would be finding a unicorn, but I called my sister who lives up north to go see if any dealerships had one left. Lucky me, Midland Honda did! My sister got me some information then shortly after, I spoke with Josh. He was a delight to deal with and I'm glad he got the be the salesman of my first car! Josh answered all my questions and they delivered the car right to my door! Driving down through the crazy snow we just got and the never ending construction on the hwy. I was so greatful for such a wonderful experience. I Would also like to give Chris, the finical advisor a shout out for being so wonderful!!

Midland Honda had a great selection on new and pre-owned vehicles to chose from when we were looking for our next family sedan. Sales team were patient and welcoming. They took great care in entertaining my toddler while I shopped and met with financing. They showed me various features to make sure I was getting the best for my money. Claudette has no problem with me test driving multiple vehicles to make sure I chose the right one. I can't tell you how amazing Team Honda is. The customer service is always the best I have ever experienced. Yesterday I had the pleasure of using their brand new state of the art dealership, I was totally impressed! The wonderful staff, Nancy, Kelly , Amy, Julie and David are just to name a few but the ones that helped me yesterday. I knew exactly what to expect from the beginning, they explained step by step. Great work, and I was amazed at how quick they have been with repairs to my car, especially considering the limited staff and restrictions due to COVID. I had a very negative experience today at Midland Honda. I have always had a positive experience in the past but today I unfortunately believe I was to be over charged for a service that was a manufacturing defect. When I was told the service manager was going to call me to discuss they neglected to call. I’m sadly disappointed and will service my vehicle elsewhere in the future :(

Came in for an oil change with my Acura. Mechanics did a great job and service was very friendly. They did try to sell me a very expensive set of tires though, and confusingly told me that my all-seasons were winter tires. Would certainly go back to get service done here again, price was fair.

When I arrived at the service desk I waited much longer then I should have before I was acknowledged. Once I was able to give someone my keys I was told I wasn't booked in for my apt until the next day which wasn't accurate, however they did make sure I was seen that day. The wait was just under 2hrs for a B1 Service and they did also wash my car and provide the waiting room complimentary refreshments. I was most unimpressed with the fact I was offered the choice of replacing the rubber in my windshield wipers and was told it was of no charge to me, only to find that I had been charged 10.99 a wiper in the end. This totaled my entire B1 service to be around $270, that's oil change, tire rotation, brake inspection and an overall inspection of the vehicle. I'm told that this is not the best price I could get and this leaves me not so thrilled at the service provided by Midland Honda.

Can't all be good reviews, not impressed with our experience with Midland Honda or Tom. I know we weren't buying a brand new car but that shouldn't matter. It seems as the minute the vehicle was paid for, even though my husband still had to sign for it, we were done! My husband sat for 2 hours waiting to sign his name on 2 spots even though Tom knew when he would be in to sign. Eventually, 2 hours later, the secretary watched him sign his name. When we picked up the vehicle it was supposed to be detailed and it wasn't cleaned properly, I could see the dirt on the ceiling, it just had a quick dust and clean. Our time with Midland Honda is finished!

I bought a used Honda through a private sale yesterday. The radio was locked because the battery had been disconnect and the previous owner couldnt find the code. I phoned Midland Honda at 4.55 on the Friday before Christmas and Tracy waited for me to go out to my car and talked me through finding the number she needed to get a code for the car. I was having trouble and she was totally patient with me. She was so friendly and patient and really dedicated to me getting that code even if it meant she was leaving a little later than planned. Even though I didn't buy the car through that dealership, Tracy did everything she could to solve my problem. Guess where my new/used Honda will be going for service and parts now? Buyer Beware. Horrible experience at the dealership today. I have been a customer for many years but after my recent experiences I will never return to this dealership. If this experience had happened to anyone else I would definitely want to know about it. There is a back story which I will outline below but it is today’s experience that led me to share here. I attended the dealership today to pick-up a reimbursement cheque; I had received an email from one of the Co-owners (Mr. Davies) stating the cheque would be available this afternoon. Upon arrival I met with one of the other Co-Owners (Mr.Benzel), I shared my experience with him, at his request, and received the reimbursement cheque from him. Mr. Davies entered just prior to my departure and instead of me leaving with the promised reimbursement cheque, I was verbally attacked by him, had the reimbursement cheque taken from me by him and I was told to leave the dealership and not return. As I was walking out to my car, Mr Davies followed me outside and continued to loudly tell me to leave the property and not come back or I would be trespassing. Here is the backstory leading to the need for the reimbursement cheque: In mid October all of the service lights on my vehicle came on, as I had a planned trip with my great-niece that weekend I called for a service appointment. I explained the situation and asked that the car be inspected and any needed work be completed as I wanted to ensure the car was safe for our travels. The car was booked in for the day, 2 regular maintenance items were completed and 2 additional items were recommended and completed. I was informed the vehicle was good to go; the bill was paid ($1110.00) and the car picked up. When we arrived at our destination that weekend, we had just exited the highway, every service light came on and I had no functioning brakes. There was a service centre nearby and the car was taken there, I shared with them the work just done at Honda, they kept the car overnight and repaired it the next day (replaced leaking brake line). They provided me with pictures to share with Honda that showed the leaking line as well as others that should possibly be done, they stated they were unsure how this was missed by the Honda tech. This resulted in a $565 service cost, no car for our holiday and many cab fares. Upon arriving back in Midland I took the car back to Honda and shared the photos. I was told by both the service manager and the co-owner that the technician had “mentally checked out” as it was his last week of work. The brake lines should have been recommended and they don’t know why it wasn’t . I was told a solution would be met. After several conversations with Mr. Davies he made comments such as “the technician just mentally checked out”, “well you drive a 10 year old car, you should expect to be inconvenienced “, “the worst didn’t happen”, “I’m going to do you a big favour, a solid” In the end Mr. Davies solution was to have me bring my car back in to have the other brake lines done at an additional cost of $925.00. I opted to have them reimburse me the service costs while away and that I would go elsewhere for any remaining brake lines needing to be done. Mr Davies emailed me the amount of reimbursement and the pick-up time but failed to deliver in the end. UPDATE: November 20th, 2021 With no resolution found with this dealership I ended up having the remaining brake lines thoroughly inspected by another service station and as per their invoice the following was noted: “Brakes cleaned, Buffing pads/discs, lube. Found minimal scalling on coated lines, cleaned coating off and put under coat on lines to protect. Don’t see a reason to replace “ In the end I made the correct choice of not opting for Mr. Davies solution of having my brake lines replaced for an additional cost of $925.00. It’s unfortunate that they did not follow through with the solution I opted for; a reimbursement of the costs incurred at the out of town service Center. A negative experience could have had a satisfactory solution

Is the worse place to go to fix your car. They wouldnt even look at the turn signal because it was too much work to find out what is wrong with it, since they were too busy fixing all the recalls. Will not ever go back there ever.

Ok. Where do I start. Took it in for emergency service on a seized caliper. . Had to rent a vehicle for three days. While you were busy doing oil changes. Asked about replacing a skid pan. Was told it must be aftermarket cause it didn’t come with the vehicle. After I watched it break off and fly in the ditch. Gone in for service and someone poked a hole in my muffler I had jb welded. But no one would do that here. Should I go on and on. I only went back today because it was a recall related issue. Otherwise I’ll do my own services etc. I know I won’t try and find a hundred things wrong the vehicle. Just to upsale. Anyone can buy a car anywhere they choose. It’s the service I depend on. But unfortunately you’ve lost my trust. There was the time I was told my car was ready. Took it in for oil change. It never left the spot I parked it in. After sitting looking at it for over an hour. Wondering when it’s going in. An 8 o’clock appointment ends up an hour late a waste of my time. I can go on and on. But I think you get the point. Don’t hold your breath waiting for my vehicle to come in anymore. I’ll do it myself or go elsewhere. Thanks

By contrast, every single person that I worked with at Midland went well above and beyond to ensure that I had the best possible experience! Peter, thank you for taking the time to help me make my final purchase decision, for making sure I had all the information I needed about my options and for answering all of my questions. Nick and Lou, thank you for coordinating all of the paperwork so quickly and efficiently, and ensuring that I met up with my car at a time and a place that worked for me - I know it wasn't an easy feat! Krystal, thank you for taking so much of your time to walk me through features I didn't even know existed, and to make sure I felt absolutely comfortable in the driver's seat. Particularly for a dealership I never even visited in person (they delivered my car directly to me), I could not have imagined a sales process this seamless. I previously drove a Volkswagen that needed to be returned as part of the legal settlement around the diesel engines, and VW offered a very limited selection of appointments. Therefore, I needed the purchase and delivery to line up with a small time slot in order to not be without a car for work. Midland Honda accomplished that perfectly. Everything about the purchase experience fit easily into my life, and I can honestly say this was not only the best car purchase experience I've had, but the best experience I've had purchasing any big ticket item. I would absolutely recommend Midland Honda to anyone I know who is considering Honda services - proximity isn't an issue!

Although I prefer to support local retailers, I chose to buy my new Civic at Barrie Honda, as Midland was not at all competitive on price. However, I had planned on using Midland for all of my service. Unfortunately, after the very poor service that I have received, I will not be back to Midland Honda. I booked a service visit 2 weeks in advance. Entertainment system on Civic was acting up. This was the second visit on this issue as Midland Honda failed to resolve the issue the first time around. Also wanted an oil change. Dropped car off first thing in the morning. Work was not completed until 7:00pm. Service desk presented me with a bill for $330 despite the fact that the vehicle is still under Honda's new vehicle bumper-to-bumper warranty. Performed extra non-warranty work without proper communication or consultation. I will stick with Barrie Honda, a far superior dealership, from now on.

I strongly believe that my navigation screen was scratched during a recall service here. What leads me to believe it was them, was that directly after the service there were marks all over the inside door and center controls from a fruity scented spray. Also written in the invoice was a section where they stated they did a car wash to the outside of the vehicle with the customers approval, which was not the case. I never agreed to this, as I never let anyone clean my car except myself. They clearly wiped the inside as well while they were at it. I contacted Midland Honda directly afterwards to try to settle my concern with the damage and had no success. I spoke with their customer relations representative and was told that they would investigate. They called me back and said that the technician who worked on the vehicle said he didn't cause the damage. I followed up with an email to the same customer relations rep that I was unsatisfied with the results of their investigation and if anything else could be done, such as them taking a look at the cameras, I would greatly appreciate it. Unfortunately from there, my concerns were ignored. These are only speculations of course, but I am the only driver of this vehicle and am a person who is very particular and would never cause scratches at all. **Update** I brought my vehicle in for the general manager to take a look at in person (as requested). He was very professional about the situation and tried to buff the scratches out of the navigation screen in his detail department. Unfortunately due to the delicate screen and to protect the touch sensors, only a light buff could be done. The scratches remained. He then apologized and gave me a credit for my troubles. Although the scratches are still there, I appreciate the general manager seeing me and trying to resolve my concerns.

When I first started getting my car serviced there (when it was brand new after I bought it there). The service was really amazing. They helped me when I got my purse stolen and had to get my car towed to the dealership early in the morning for new keys. Sadly it's declined in the past two years. Appointments are generally booked during a slot and can get pushed if other customers have bigger issues, so it make planning your day around simple things like oil changes, tire swaps etc very difficult. I tried calling three weeks in advance to get my summer tires put on. They couldn't confirm that it could be done within 1-2 hours. So I said I'd pickup my tires. There was a lot of back and forth and it was quite frustrating to coordinate. I was fine with paying more $$$ to get my car serviced there compared to local garages, but they don't make it easy so I won't be back unfortunately.

The service person was excellent as were all staff who came through the dept always asking if wanted water, coffee except the mechanics when they came in for their item--but all other staff had a customer friendly approach. \ Erin did an exceptional job explaining all items to me as to why they needed to be done. Sad my coupon had expired for wheel alignment for 1-% off but guess I should have read it more thoroughly. Guess the one thing learned today not about the service but about Honda vehicles was the more technology on them --the more service work which can become expensive to have done.-- miss the old days when taking in vehicle for ,oil , grease change and maybe a filter here and there depending on how old or kilometers driven would cost and maybe a tire rotation every second oil change--oh well guess an old person has to get used to the new -- but again Erin was great at explaining all issues. So guess my experience at Midland Honda is still in tact with the way staff treat customers--- worth the drive to Midland to get treated as a customer should be--maybe a little work with the mechanics to be a little more personable- but understand they don't deal with the customers.and are busy hopefully doing their job right.

Had been in contact about a used truck they had for sale. I live in Toronto, but they had the configuration, colour etc I was looking for at a decent price. Since I had a car to trade in , and was going to travel 2 hours each way I wanted to make sure we were on the same page regarding my trade in value before spending most of the day driving back and forth. We had agreed on a sight unseen number for my trade and I provided them, in writing, details on my trade, including the VIN. They had everything they needed to give a sight unseen trade number and they did. It was reasonable so I make the trip. It was all going well until we started to discuss the pricing and suddenly my trade was worth $1500 less. Their excuse was that they used a trade in value for an automatic car, and mine is manual. The problem there is that they knew it was manual from my emails, plus they had the VIN to verify. It was clearly a scam, or they are completely incompetent. Not sure which, but leaning towards the scam side. $1500 is alot of money to me, and considering the numbers involved it was a big deal. I offered to come down $500 and asked them to find the other $1000 somewhere in the deal, between the sale price of the truck and the trade value. Instead they came back showing me that they would ONLY be making $4000 profit on my car with a trade in value of $8500. Only 50% profit. They didn't move a single dollar and politely showed me the door. No apology for their mistake. No consideration at all for the fact I drove 2 hours each way based on their numbers to me. Nothing. They don't care at all about the customer. Just 30 year old sales tactics that belong in the past, the old bait and switch on unsuspecting customers. The parking signs at the store say something like " Park here for a Wow! experience" It was a Wow! Experience all right, But not the way they intend I assume. Their only concern is to their bottom line and they made zero effort to accomodate me after I drive 4 hours round trip to make a deal on a truck based on the numbers they gave me. Wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw a Honda Civic.

My daughters first purchase, a 2018 Civic and the sales staff were very helpful, especially Dawn. She had issues with the brakes and the power windows shortly after purchase, as well as the chip guard (they had completely endorsed) started peeling within a year (the stones are actually chipping the paint through the chip guard). We were told they had put it on wrong. Car was in for servicing several times and issues remain unresolved. We we told they only sell the after market equipment but do not follow up on it, we have to deal with the chip guard company ourselves. I had purchased a CRV in Midland in 2012. I had an absolutely amazing salesman named Kyle. When my car was hit a year later I came back and he was gone. Since then I have seen great staff leave and find there is little continuity of care. My daughter wasn't even given a rental car when her car was in the shop waiting for parts, although she had paid extra for it until Dawn made us aware she was entitled to one. The service people we have dealt with are abrupt, condescending and lack the empathy to be in their positions. The turnover is high which makes me wonder what kind of environment is it to work in. Not at all pleased with the service here, nor is my daughter. The ☆☆ are for Dawn (she actually deserves ☆☆☆☆☆). Last purchase and service from Midland Honda. We are very disappointed. Staff were aware of the problems we were having, clearly they don't bother management with it.

Bought a used 2015 civic from Ian a few months back. Got into an accident and totalled the car. Went back to Honda to see what they had to replace it and Ian was right up front and center ready to assist. With the move to a new location I thought it would become easier to schedule regular service that I could wait to get done, not so. I can understand some issues with COVID but the weather today was fine and I would have waited outside. As it was they forgot to pick me up at the agreed time, not amused! The constant selling of service upgrades is not appreciated either. I will be exploring other options.

Brand new dealership. Nice place to spend a lot of time and money as a customer - which you may find yourself doing often. I have personally been here, their prices are inflated (to be expected at an OEM dealership), but what is not to be expected is the lack of clarity and integrity in billing. They charge in minimum increments of 30 minutes at $160/hour. Having just left the dealership for the second time, with no resolution to my AWD drive problem (and 2 bills of $90 each) I will not be returning again. The sales department has also had issues (on 2 occasions) with following up and returning phone calls. Perhaps this is a forewarning to how the service relationship will move forward as well.

I went to assist my wife to purchase a new CRV for her. First of all, this dealer does not go by the ethics code, and they tried a few sketchy things on us for all buyers to beware. On the bill of sale, they added etching for $499, which they claim is a mandatory charge. This is false and misleading (do your research). Admin fee, which I don't recall the cost. Extended warranty for 1600. Winter tires with alloy rims which are absurd and not necessary. Steel is always the way to go. When it came down to negotiating, the sales lady let out a big sigh when we said we didn't need these extra items and fees. Then, the manager came out, and his responses were shocking. He insisted we get winter tires from him as he would price match.Then argued with me that you cannot get OEM hub centric rims from Costco. An outright lie. He was pretty much begging to use his package, which my wife clearly didn't want. They were confrontational with us when they realized we weren't new to buying a new vehicle. He even went as far to tell my wife that he wouldn't feel comfortable selling the vehicle without the extended warranty plan. Basically, pay us almost 5k more, or we won't sell it to you. That was the end of that horrific ordeal, and we ran out of there, shocked. If you decide to use this dealer, be very careful of the deceitful and unethical tactics they tried on us. Just by the managers' responses to previous negative reviews, you can get a sense of his arrogant attitude. He's got nothing on us and should be ashamed to be representing any Honda dealership. I'll take this as a great learning experience and a huge eye opener. My wife purchased her new CRV today in Orillia without any pressure, ridiculous add ons, or fees. She left feeling the way it should be when you car shop. I guess things happen for a reason!

I have been bringing my Honda into this dealership since I got it last summer. One of my favourite things about them is their staff. They are always so delightful when I go in, and have even come to make it feel personal when they see me. Well done for customer service. However, the last time I had my car in my car was damaged in multiple places. This was extremely unfortunate and a situation where I needed to contact them about it as I wasn’t told when I left their lot of any damages occurring. I worked alongside management to find a solution for these damages. I am not pointing fingers at any of the staff as they have always been great; accidents do happen, and I understand it could have happened in the parking lot just from traffic in and out of the lot for all I know. All and all I am more than happy with how easy it was to talk with them about my concerns and find a solution that worked for both parties. I will be taking my car back there in the future despite this occurrence.

I purchased my CRV in May 2017. I was very pleased with the service and attention I had received. This summer my air conditioner stopped working. I contacted Richard Davies, President and received a phone call immediately. Mr Davies offered to cover the cost of the diagnostics for the air conditioning unit as my warranty was done ( provided I completed repairs at Midland Honda if it was within my budget). He then told an employee that he would sell me an extended warranty for my vehicle, covering the cost of any repairs to the AC and give me an additional 40km of coverage on my vehicle. I spoke to Mr Davies and he agreed to email me the information to which I never received. I brought my car into the dealership for the diagnostics and was presented with a quote for $2300 for a full AC replacement and the $200 diagnostic repair bill. In follow up with Mr Davies I was informed that he couldn’t expect his staff to work for free and when I questioned the warranty we spoke of he informed me it would be fraudulent to sell me the extended warranty. When I questioned his ethics and integrity based on our previous discussions, he offered to make things “right” by offering to buy my CRV for $12000 + tax and have me purchase a new CRV or lease ( $25000 to fix a $2300 repair). Mr Davies informed me I could expect more problems with my vehicle at 129000km. Not what I would expect from a brand that prides itself on the long life of it vehicles and good value for money. I responded in an email to Mr Davies to which I received a response that was unprofessional and condescending to say the least. Mr Davies seems to lack the understanding that to keep my business, I rely on trust, integrity and ethics from my dealership and brand. Because he lacked commitment and follow through, he’s lost what would have been a loyal customer to the dealership and the Honda brand. I am one very disappointed customer!

Josh is our hero! For a year, we struggled with getting our Android smart phone working in our Honda CRV, replacing the app, pushing reset buttons, etc. In desperation, I dropped into the Midland Honda Dealership to ask for their help. Josh came out and determinedly, tried one thing after another, including an attempted link with his own phone. He came to the conclusion that it must be the connecting wire. He explained that many wires, including the one that came with our phone, can be of cheaper quality and really made for charging the phone, as apposed to data transfer. Upon his suggestion, I went to a local electronics store and spent $20 on a better quality wire. Lo and behold, it worked, giving us GPS navigation again and other phone features, like reading texts and emails on the screen. We are soooo happy with this fix, thank you Joshua!.

They spoke to me respectfully and kindly, and the service was good. My past review is below. When I went in for a minor issue, the staff 3X kept adding an extra item - "B Service" to my invoice (in advance). They put it back in the third time even AFTER I had insisted to have it removed and verified it was off the invoice. They then tried to get me to sign papers they printed up adding back the B Service, without my first reading that (third version of the) document. Only after they saw my professional title did they actually truly and finally remove the extra item, do the right service, and charge me the correct amount.

Midland Honda takes extra precautions to make sure the vehicle you are looking at is not only right for you, but will also keep you safer than the president. One of many things that intrigued me was the Honda Certified Safety Check. 100 point inspection on the entire vehicle, if anything even looks weird they replace it no questions asked. Roadside assistance, a beautiful 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback delivered TO MY DOOR, and an excellent salesman that sold everything like it was cake at a wedding. Just bought a used truck that needed a few recalls so i just said do the saefty as well. #1 Safeties should not be over $200...then they quoted me double the cost of the vehicle to safety it...took it to another shop and they listed completely different issues that Honda missed and quoted 1 3rd of the price...cuatomer Service seemed to just want to rush me off the phone and when they offer3d me a comp alignment which was already done at the other shop they try to tell me it is out of alignment...IT Was JUST DONE A DAY BEFORE!!! VERY SHADY business going on there. Honestly it's worth the drive to go to Orillia Dalts Honda if you need anything done. Way more professional and not trying to scam you for every penny as we all know money doesn't grow on trees. If I could rate them minus 1 I would. Not.impressed and hopefully I get my car before they do more damage to it bc I don't trust they will just leave it as it was when I dropped it off. I was going in for a recall and in my opinion they don't want to do work for free!! Suck an egg Midland Honda!! Except you Gwen you were awesome to deal with in person. I give you 4.5 stars ...

Started my search for a compact suv here and wound up rather disappointed with the approach management took. I had a good experience with my saleswoman, she did everything she could to make it work. The appraisal for my trade in was low so I wanted to crunch some numbers at home and see if I could come up with more of a down payment instead. Before we left management came in to try and close, as expected. That's when things came apart very quickly. He was clearly only trying to sell the cars on the show floor, ignored our needs and explained the low trade in value with such indignation like I was some kind of idiot. It's not my first trade in and I have every right to decline on a low appraisal, it happens. We never got to looking at other models or financing options because he left us with such a bad impression. We'll be continuing our search elsewhere.

Since we have purchased our vehicle at Midland Honda in July 2020, we have received wonderful service. Our vehicle just went in for it's first oil change and was VERY impressed with the service from the time I arrived to picking it up at the end of the day. The staff were quick to greet me and went through all Covid screening protocols as well as making a point to have a conversation. I was also impressed with the alignment machine that I drove through as I brought my vehicle into the service garage. A staff member took the time to explain it to me as well as the results of our alignment and tire life. As I waited for a shuttle, I was offered a warm drink to start my morning. What a great way to start the day! I received a text at work letting me know the service to my vehicle was completed and even made a personal connection referring to our conversation from that morning relating to work. At the end of the day, I was greeted promptly again, asked how my day was at work and offered a warm drink again! While I waited for my vehicle to be pulled up for me (clean from an in house car wash!) I had asked about a circular room with a rotating floor just off of the entry/exit to the garage. Turns out it's a 360 degree revolving room to take pictures of vehicles to post to the site. Very cool! Overall, we are not only extremely happy with our new Honda vehicle, we are equally as pleased and impressed with the service we have received, even down to the shuttle back and forth (which I forgot to mention). We had a great conversation and the driver also asked me about my day, relating back to our morning conversation! Thank you to the wonderful staff and well done with the amazing, new dealership! Went in for an oil and filter change. All work was completed efficiently. I left while this was happening and went for a walk. Then got a call where I was up sold to a terraclean service to remove carbon deposits. Sticker shock when my total charge was $410. In hindsight I’m not sure I needed this service. Online discussion of Terraclean is ambiguous. Plus my 2018 Honda FIT has what Honda promotes as “earth dreams technology” which is supposed to be clean and efficient. Feeling I should perhaps have held on to my $200 extra!!

I have used this place 3 times since moving to the area. First time was to have winter tires removed, 2nd oil change, 3rd to have winter tire on. They gave me a time and each time it takes forever to have my car done. Today 3 hours to have the tires done. They offered me a free wheel alignment and it wasn’t even done-as I sat in the parking lot for almost 2 hours cause they said when I dropped off 1.5 hours - 2 hours. I saw workers in cars not wearing any PPE or wiping the cars down when they entered it. I understand today they opened in the new location but this is frustrating. My husband did say a lady did come out while I was taking care of invoice and wiped it down. Sadly I think I may drive elsewhere

Typically, I dont take the time to write these types of reviews - but in this case I feel I have to. After purchasing a couple used vehicle (3yrs old) car from downtown Honda Toronto - we decided to service in Midland after hearing good things. First Appt (Tire leak)...the service agent got our VIN wrong and sent me on a wild goose chance with Downtown Toronto Honda as they were telling (essentially) we were ripped off and the vehicle was from the USA and should have been disclosed to us. turns out - she wrote down the # wrong...multiple times... Second appt - oil change and a check up on a couple odd noises we were hearing from the car. get to my first thing-sat morning appt...they can only do the oil change as they only had one mechanic working..."they should have never booked the other things" REALLY? how is that now my issue? regardless, I got my oil change and left. Having to then book another appt for the noises and driver side airflow issue. Third Appt - my husband takes the car in. they call to say they need to perform a break job for one of the noises (clicking when backing up) as ask the customer service person to explain how the clicking correlates to the breaks. she says she will have to call back (not once was i offered to speak with a mechanic etc.) - she gives a weak explanation...and frustrated (i just want to clicking gone) i agree to the $400+ service. She also then tells me the total bill and i agree to the cost for her to proceed. - i look at the bill when i get home and its over $200 more than the price discussed! turns out the performed an entire diagnostic (electrical etc) on the vehicle to determine it needed new filters...yes, just air filters! but $140 for the lengthy diagnostic to determine the <$100 air filters...I'm not a mechanic, but wouldn't you check the easiest/quickest thing first? Flash forward a month, the clicking when backing up is BACK! not surprising...but I was NOT going back to midland Honda. Flash forward to another oil change. this time with Barrie Honda. I explain that the filters have all been done and the clicking is still there - even though it was "fixed" with a break job. the service adviser looks at me and shakes her head - says the clicking is a know Pilot issue and that there is a specific "Fix" for this issue (...not a break job). She suggests I go back to Midland Honda for them to re-do the work. I told her not a chance...I wouldn't be going back there and for them to do the work and I will pay again. Moral. Doing business in a small town, you really should have more respect for your hard-working paying customer's money AND time. I would never return, and I would never recommend this business to anyone.

Being a creature of habit, I started the process off looking at the new Edge and followed up with test drive in the new Terrain. I will admit, we have never owned a Honda. I hesitated as I pulled into the Midland Honda lot. I was met by Ty at the door and instantly felt welcomed, valued and listened to. It was such a great vehicle that I replaced it with a 2021 Honda Pilot. I’ve known Richard Davies since I was a kid. Over all my experience was ok- I had bought a jeep off of the dealer ship that had a broken heating coil (no heat in the car) the cost was going to be 1,400 $ I explained that the jeep was broken when purchased and they kindly offered to cover the charge, for that I'm thankful. I went out to grab my jeep and noticed they had left my passenger window completely wide open!!! I was not impressed. After the jeep got fixed up all was working great, but I noticed all my change that was in my cup holder was thrown into the back of my car all over the floor?! So my over all experience was ok- happy they did the work needed to the car/ unhappy with how they handled it and treated it.

Got a big bolt wedged in my tire on a Saturday of the long weekend. Drove to Honda hoping they could help. Erin in service was professional and courteous. They had me fixed up within half hour. Although pricey, it got fixed and I was on my way. The tech did a good job, swapped my tires & diagnosis my suspension prob in 20 mins. How do I know? Because I only walked away for 20 mins came back and stood outside as it gradually got colder and colder waiting for the service person to call my phone or to recognize me. I had to go ask about my car 5 mins before they close. Yeah it was done, out of visual range and waiting for me to pick it up, I had to take time off work because there were no options for weekends. If I sound angry it’s because I am.

Some of my friends ask me why I pay the money to get my car regularly serviced at Honda, but I say I have had nothing but excellent service. Two weeks ago my key broke off in my ignition. Off I go to Honda with no appointment, assisted me right away and Honda only charged me to fix the key - $25, instead of buying a new key which would have been a lot more. Last night, my headlight bulb went out. In I go again, with no appointment to buy a bulb and the nice people at Honda put it in for free. I just paid for the bulb. Great service from Honda means a loyal customer.

Had the pleasure of working with Josh Townsend on the purchase of my new to me Civic.I would have to say overall, one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had!!From the initial phone conversation that I had with josh ,right up until i picked up the car ( and beyond even)josh was Courteous, extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process.He answered every single question that i had(which was alot) with ease,and Continued to answer texts regarding the car and the financing after I had already brought it home!! This guy go's above an beyond to make sure the customer is completely satisfied, and he also does not push upgrades or add ons upon you, which I find completely refreshing as I am super uncomfortable and not happy with pushy sales tactics.Now on to the financing portion with Mrs ,Ashley Betts. Ashley was very personable and very knowledgeable about vehicle financing. After asking my permission to shop around for the best rate for me( which would require multiple inquiries on my credit,which would in turn affect my score negatively each time)I asked if she could recommend a financial institution that in her experience was currently offering the best rates available to avoid multiple credit inquiries. She promptly recommended one in her professional opinion, and within about and hour I received a loan offer at an amazing interest rate!!The part of the experience that did not sit so well with me was the part about purchasing additional loan insurance for the loan, I fully understand that sales people work in part or full off of commissions, however I felt That ashley In part downplayed the total cost of the additional insurance. Additionally ,when I had discovered the full cost of the insurance ( which would have been 9000 dollars with interest and everything)and questioned Ashley about this, she went into a follow up sales pitch seemingly ( like she was reading off a script) to try to reassure me that this was the right purchase for my family and I.Only when I had asked straight up if i was obligated to purchase the additional insurance did she disclose that it was optional ( while still implying that this may affect my interest rates that I had already secured) Having a girlfriend that works in finance ,was a huge plus in understanding how all of this works, however I feel and felt that this was a sneaky upsell tactic to make money of of unsuspecting buyers. This was the first and only negative aspect of my purchase at midland Honda,and also the reason that my rating wasn't higher,It felt like a very underhanded attempt to extort additional money out of me,after I had already spent a great deal of money there.I will say that Ashley did in the end,get 2 of my warranties extended, perhaps because she did not want a negative review, perhaps because she felt bad, regardless I already had a bad taste in my mouth because of this .

Their estimated time is always close to what they say and I never see any additional charges other than what I know of. I spent the whole day visiting dealers in the Midland area and my last stop was Midland Honda. I was very fortunate to meet the Sales Manager Nick Gagliardi. He was extremely personable, professional and listened to my needs when I was considering to trade in my older vehicle for a newer one. Cost was an issue and i was on a strict budget. He was the only dealer in town who worked harder to get me the best trade in value for my vehicle so i could afford to purchase a Honda Civic. Most dealers see things in black and white, but Nick went above and beyond my expectations which closed the deal and made me leave a very happy customer. I highly recommend dealing with this person.

As with all dealerships I find it very expensive. They sent me a coupon for service in the amount of $50.00. My bill was $293.56 so I thought at least that will help. However when I tried to use it they said it was only for break work! I am a senior and on a pension so $293. Is a lot for me! I will never buy a new car again I can’t stand feeling like I have been taken. Not the girl I dealt with but the company. Also it took4 hrs to do! Oil change break fluid and differential fluid.
