Drove thru the parking lots of the shiny new Nissan dealership. Current Nissans got some style and all but why throughout the entire summer, could you guys not get your flagship cars on site? I don't mean a Juke-R or even a GTR, just some nice Z cars maybe the 400z on loan from Calgary as example. But all we see are weak CUVs in the back and the nicest vehicles are parked out front, are much nicer, and...are from other automakers.

With an 8 hour drive ahead of us & the temperature well over 30 degrees, the air conditioning in our vehicle started blowing hot air 60 kms east of Medicine Hat. We called Medicine Hat Nissan & despite being short-staffed that day as well as already over-booked, Rhonda had a great deal of empathy for our dire circumstances & told us to come by & she’d find a way to works us in. From the moment we arrived we felt so welcomed & so well looked after. Rhonda kept us informed as things unfolded, and broke the news gently that both the compressor & controller would need to be replaced & our road-trip would have to be delayed ... not an inexpensive fix, nor a quick one. We were immediately offered the use of a gorgeous Nissan Rogue so they could get started immediately & we could find a hotel for the night. When it was discovered the compressor needed would have to come from Vancouver & would not arrive the next day, we were facing one more day’s delay into our summer plans & another night in a hotel. But then Rhonda & the team at Medicine Hat Nissan went into solution-thinking mode & managed to save the day by sourcing an after-market compressor, which they had installed by noon that day. We are SO very grateful for the care & attention we received at MH Nissan - the staff were all extremely helpful with a clear & authentic desire to provide an excellent customer experience. HIGHLY recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We could not recommend Medicine Hat Nissan enough. I recently purchased a used Acadia this summer, while loading the kids into it we noticed that the AC was not working properly, they immediately took into their shop and re-charged it. during the time they were constantly checking on us, making sure we were comfortable and had what we needed. After the car was fixed, I asked what happens if the AC fails in a few weeks, Ian told me if he would look after it because they stand buy the vehicles they sell. It was nothing more than verbal commitment. Of course, I was skeptical as all my past dealing with car dealerships have been negative. A few weeks later, we noticed that the AC was not working again and when we called Ian, he had us take it in to a local Calgary shop to determine the problem. Ian committed to having a loaner car sent to Calgary so they could pick up our Acadia and make the repairs all expenses paid. There was nothing in writing that forced them to take such good care of us, but they were outstanding and true to their word in taking amazing care of their customers. This is something that I would never have expected from dealership. Medicine Hat Nissan has won me over, I will make the drive from Calgary to medicine hat for my next car purchase.

I bought my Nissan Versa Note in Calgary and it wasn't until I was coming home that I realized there was a heavy vibration when breaking at highway speeds. Upon realizing this had happened, Mazda provided excuses, where as Nissan provided results. They took my car in as soon as possible and from the moment I got there, they were very kind. It was discovered that not only was my brake rotor warped by a wheel bearing on the vehicle was broken. The car now drives so much better. There is no issue. They took all the stress out of this situation thanks to their great customer service and efficient work!

Any research into Nissan vehicles will tell you that the transmissions are failing before the 100K mark and ours was no different. They did replace the transmission after extending the warranty but they did so improperly according to the two mechanics we took our vehicle to after which is why it leaked transmission fluid. When contacting them later about this we were met with the rudest customer service and told any future work would cost us money in spite of their incompetence. I will not buy another Nissan again and I don't recommend anyone to buy from this dealership in particular.

It was a really bad experience from the day 1 staff was so bullying. And putting you into a negative side kind of thir selling tricks. And i still bought a brand new rouge with in firat month there was a sound coming from the rear end all the technician and service managers worked on it and agrred that there is a sound but can not resolve it as they can not figure it out from where it comes. I had to replace a steering wheel .then they said i have to replace steering column. And with in six month i had to replace my radio system. And now 2 years after i bought the vehicle 48000 km on and it lost its transmission. Still the sound exists in the rear end.which they changed ton of parts but can not solve the concern has an open work order from 2017. And when i approched theowner and general manager. He said me to contact nissan canada because he has nothing to do with it he doesn't care if i post it on scocial media or anything. When i contacted nissan canada they asked me to go back to the dealership and they both gave me a run around on this. Any way i am really upset on this issue. And i was not given any customer care insted he was on his business side. Please be careful when you choose a nissan brand from this nissan showroom

Over the course of the last 7-10 days I have been talking, texting and emailing with Aaron regarding a vehicle that I found online. In my opinion Aaron went above and beyond as I first noticed the vehicle after hours and I sent a message late at night. To my surprise Aaron responded late at night and even offered to run down to the dealership to do a walk a round video of the vehicle. I immediately told him no that it could wait until the morning. I never made it down to the dealership as I am in Okotoks and could not make it to the dealership until the following weekend. Aaron was very responsive to everything and checked in with me daily. It was not pushy or overly aggressive, it was the perfect amount of follow-up. Although I did not purchase a vehicle from him, as I found a different unit locally that I just couldn't pass on, I would not hesitate to recommend Aaron to a friend or family member. The only thing that caught me by surprise and it had nothing to do with Aaron, was that when I had received the quote the numbers didn't add up. There were a couple of fees built into the quote that was not discussed prior. When I questioned Aaron that the total amount and b/w payment was different than what I self calculated he gave me the information. At which point the numbers added up. If there would have been even a $1000 worth of wiggle room I would have easily made the drive to Medicine Hat to finalize the purchase.

I initially brought my Nissan Pathfinder in to have the coolant cross over gaskets replaced because they are a common problem on these pathfinders and it requires taking the top half of the engine off. About 2 weeks after having the job completed my vehicle started leaking coolant a bit worse than before so I called to make another appointment. After diagnosing again they concluded the parts where faulty gaskets and they agreed to do the job again for no cost to me and they where very good about it. They gave me a date the parts would be in and when I dropped my vehicle off they drove me to work. They called later in the day to tell me the cross over manifold itself was actually warped and that was causing the leaking. They had to order the parts so they provided me a comparable car to drive for almost a week and when it came time to pick up there was a bill with almost $ 2,000 and they didn’t charge me for a thing this is the most reputable shop ever! If you drive any vehicle even non Nissan and your looking for a good honest reliable shop go see the people in service they will take care of you thank you so much!

When you hear jokes/ negative comments about "car salesmen", I bet they started here. I stopped to consider trading up my 2013 SL Rogue with 53,,000kms, with additional 100Km warrenty ($2700) roof rack($400) and add on remote start ($650) After seeing what they called "low Km vehichle - also a 2013 S (lower trim model) and over 100,000 kms at $14998, I had in my mind what i needed for my trade on a new $39,000 car. I was offered $12,000, to which I laughed at them and walked out. A Nissan rep from Calgary requested a text confirming the warrenty. A few days later, he called from Calgary and asked "what I had in mind". Our difference was $6000, and he said if i wanted, come back in, and we could meet halfway. My warrenty wasnt transferrable, but i could cancel it for a refund of $1000. I took the time to go back, they did up the offer, and their "meeting halfway" was the $1000 of my own warrenty. Also, while i was sitting there, Id ignored 2 calls from a BC number I didnt recognize. I said "not interested in dealing" and left. They renaged on their verbal offer, and wasted my time. I had a message from the BC number, so returned the call, and it was a rep from the extended warrenty company, apologizing for being cut off 2 times, and if i wanted to go ahead with canceling my warrenty. I informed him it wasnt me who called, and asked what the refund was worth. Its actually $1196.00. Great customer service eh!!! Raise the offer on a trade with your own money, then short change you on top of it all ! Also, on the side of "stupid salesmanship" they tell me theres lots of Rogues, and its 6 years old blah blah blah, but they are trying to sell me the same damn car! If they dont hold their value, why the Hell would I want another one?? This place is farthest from customer service. Do your homework and shop around. No sense dealing where the buzzards are perched

For the skim readers out there, Nissan offers an exceptional customer experience and great prices. For those who like detail, I’ll start from the top. First, I started my search with the intention of cutting my current vehicle payment in half. I found a practical grocery getter: a used Nissan Sentra. I thought “ya, this is nice. I don’t need anything too fancy”. I had been in contact with 3 other dealerships in town but hadn’t found the right “deal” yet (or was getting the run around before we even got started). A little frustrated with my experience thus far, I started an online chat with Nissan. I was hoping for a quick answer since I knew my trade in value and goal. I was immediately connected with Ian, the Manager of Nissan. He was pleasant, to the point, and willing to make my goal happen (without the run around). After a few paragraphs back and forth, we had a quick phone chat. Ian was great! Never once did I feel pressured or annoyed (let’s be honest, there is nothing worse than your phone blowing up because you are in the market for a car). I made an appointment with Ian to see the Sentra that lunch hour. I pulled up to the dealership at lunch... this was it, we were going to make a sacrifice and trade our beloved truck for a Sentra (anything for the cause, right?). We took a look and liked it. But Ian had a brilliant idea, he also had a used Toyota Corolla on the lot. It was way below the price point we wanted to achieve and it was certainly capable of getting to and from soccer practice (haha remember the cause? It includes car sets and gold fish crackers). Knowing we weren’t completely in love, and without hesitation, Ian had multiple (and I truly mean multiple haha) scenarios up on his screen. Admittedly, I was all over the map. I didn’t know what was the right answer... Cheap, new, cheap, maybe I should back out of this idea all together... nope, it’s for the cause! Haha with hindsight, I guess I really made him work for the sale (thank you for putting up with me). In an effort to help me figure out what I wanted, Ian showed me a 2019 Qashqui... AWD, new car smell, leg room, pride (if I’m being honest, the old corolla didn’t exactly scream cool lol) remote start, room for car seats, and (wait for it)... LESS THAN HALF of my current car payment. Say what?! Yep... goal achieved! Less. Than. Half. Let me say that again, I was able to drive away with a safe, reliable, brand new vehicle at less than half the price of my previous payment. Hellllll ya (can I say that on google?). Every single employee was top notch and super accommodating. In all honesty, Nissan wasn’t my first choice but it certainly will be going forward. If you’re still reading, what are you waiting for? Call the staff at Nissan now. You won’t be disappointed.
