I am not satisfied with the way ford dealership delta with in my last visit. I had an appointment by 9 am and I came on time... the technician did not test drive the car with me to learn about the complaints I have about the car; instead he put the computer and cleared the code and asked me to go and come back if I see the engine light on again. I asked if he could test it and make sure that the problem is gone. So I drove just 1.5km in the middle of Chief peques bridge the car stopped ancient Didier move and it cost me $75.00 to towe it back... and then told me it is a broken lever and it is not covered by warranty..and repair would cost $1,700 plus they are not sure if something else is damaged that would be extra. I had to towe the car back. Finally I replaced a complete transmission and it cost me $1,100. It was terrible experience. ..I would be little bit ok if the car diagnosed correctly in the first time I brought it there. ..
Bought a 2017 Ford F-150 Lariat Fx4 silver Very friendly,caring down to earth people !!Any one you talk to at Vickar - this applies to all the people there !!! !!! Does not matter how high or low on the company latter they are,all super friendly and helpful!! I only remember a few names - Andreas=my sales man-very helpful,kind and very friendly/approachable, Kyle=sales manager,helpful,answers questions or gets answers and gets back to you! Les =Accessory,friendly,helpful,knows his stuff,and very fair in dealings Nikki=don`t remember what her title is,but soooo helpful and knowledgeable,and does not tire of answering questions about vehicle.And shows you how to work it,what switches and knobs are for....a big THANK YOU to Nikki= "the go to gal". I brought my 2008 Lexus GX470 that I bought from Minnesota in there for a Manitoba Safety Cert. and RIV form (Registration of Imported Vehicle) and their Tech. said I need to fix the power steering to pass safety, which will cost me approx. $1200.for parts,labour and taxes. Took my vehicle out and brought it to another shop certified to fill out the RIV form and do Manitoba Safety at the same time. Vehicle passed, no issue at all, no problem, and was able to registered it, drove it 2400 Km to Edmonton and back, with no power steering issue at all. Beware, their service department, they are out to scam you big money if you believe what they tell you, doing unnecessary repair. Will not recommend at all to bring your vehicle there not unless its a warranty.

Julia in Finance was to the point and had excellent skill in relaying the finance and warranties available. Iris was a great help in showing us the new features on the 2020 Escape titanium that she had just polished up and put a bow on for my wife.These two employees were new to me and I look forward to dealing with them on my next lease. The reason I keep coming back is my salesman. I’ve been dealing with Shawn Henke for 15 plus years and I have to say he always puts his best foot forward every time. Shawn truly makes the car buying or leasing experience an enjoyable process. He always pairs us with the perfect fitting vehicles and pays attention to what we want and need. Back in April we bought a 2014 Focus Titanium from Henry Clyke. From the start we had only what I can describe as the best car buying experience ever. The day before the appointment, Henry took some photos of the Focus on his personal cell, and sent them over to me so I could get a look at the car. When we arrived the next day, he was already outside waiting for us. After showing us around the car and describing the features, he got together a team to get it out of the showroom for us. They actually relocated 3 other cars from the showroom so they could pull out the exact car we wanted to buy, instead of getting us to drive one of the others that were on the lot. The test drive itself was generous, allowing us to get a feel for the car within the city, highway, and rural roads. Once back at the dealership, we were able to work out exactly everything we wanted, price range, features, and add-ons. Henry was able to get us great value for our trade, and work in a package with extended warranty and winter tires. While waiting for financing approval, he also took us out to lunch at the nearby golf course. All said, from the initial communication over the phone, to the test drive and all throughout the financing process, we were extremely pleased with the sales environment, the staff, and the dealership itself. To add another point, just recently we called Henry to discuss getting the Winter tires, as we didn't order them during the summer. He did the leg work to pull up the agreement, and was able to ensure that the tire package was still under our name @ the dealership. Parkside Ford has definitely earned a customer for life.

I bought an F250 from Parkside Ford. My truck was really hard to find because of what I wanted in features. Henry Clyke was excellent at finding what I need, Jim Buckle was excellent at arranging the delivery of the vehicle. Basically from the time I was looking until the Truck was delivered, everything was really good. That doesn't mean that there where no hick ups, however, the way they where handled is what convinced me that they are there for the customer. They don't push you around. I usually never go to the dealership for a oil change, even when I go to my dealership it's a pain. Well I haven't been to Vickar Ford. My friend recommended me, so I went... And got my mind blown. 100% customer service. I spoke to Jhenix just a wonderful human being. My SUV was taken away from me and I had a seat. Before I even got comfortable the vehicle was done and washed. We went over the paperwork and didn't upsell me, well that's a first. Every time I've taken the vehicle in anywhere else I haven't felt good leaving. But now I can say that Vickar Ford is the only place I'll take my vehicles. Thanks Jhenix you are remembered.
It was a fantastic experience. They worked within our budget and it was very Hassel free. We dealt with Gerry and he was so open and honest about everything. We had been to a few dealerships looking for our next vehicle and felt like we were just being strung along, time wasted and getting ripped off. I would def recommend parkside to anyone! If I could give them a zero star I would. We went there to look at purchasing a vehicle and the sales manager Jim Buckle insisted on having the sales guy ride along. Of course we requested to drive the vehicle without a passenger and Jim Buckle immediately became belligerent, loud and extremely rude. So much so that the entire employee base working that day came out of their offices to watch in absolute shock at the behaviour of this person. His defense was he has no idea who's driving his vehicles and that we might steal it. Completely ridiculous since they had a copy of our drivers licence. Before leaving, we told out sales guy that they just lost the sale and that we will be purchasing elsewhere and told them what we had planned to purchase. As it turned out, Vikar was the only dealership in the city who had what we wanted, but Buckle couldn't get over his petty childishness to do a deal and they refused to release the vehicle to another dealer. They knew it was us and they refused to make the deal. We should have never gone there in the first place because the last vehicle we purchased from them was taken on a 1,600km road trip over a weekend that they forced us to wait to take possession.

Was going to purchase a new f250 with Noah he was very good to deal with however we ended up finding a different truck at another dealership and now I am in the process of trying to get my deposit back from the other truck in which now both Noah and Len are ghosting my calls. I have contacted corporate and they are working towards getting my deposit back. I have called and left voice mails everyday for the past week and no return calls in regards to returning my deposit. They are very friendly and accomadating when they think they have a sale from you, however the moment the sale isn't going to work they ghost you and have no interest in your business.

Walking into Parkside Ford, I wasn't really expecting anything out of the ordinary. I thought I would be meeting another pushy salesman trying to sell me something I don't want, but I was wrong. When my girlfriend and I pulled into the parking lot, we were greeted right away by Don who was so helpful throughout the process from beginning to end. He really knows how to take care of his clients, because what I didn't know was that he came in during the evening when he was off to personal meet and show us the cars we wanted to see. Then he came in when he was off to see us when we picked up our Ford Focus Titanium the next day. Thanks again Don! We will definitely buy our vehicles from Parkside again. As well, the Focus has been great and fun!
Excellent Service, very accomodating staff. I bought a new car from Parkside just over a year ago and have always had my service done there. This was my first visit to have the car serviced under the Vickar name. Some slight changes in the process but overall very efficient, very thorough and very accomodating. Even on my previous car, a 2002 Taurus with 300,000 Km on it the service here has always been outstanding. I've read some of the negative reviews here and none of those types of situations have ever happened to me in the 9 years I have been going here.

I needed to transfer a leased Lincoln to another person! So far it has been 6 days and nada! The future lessee and I have been repeatedly in contact with them with negligible response. No call backs, no assurances it can get done. It's a simple process -he files a credit app, I pay the transfer fee and voila. Not with these people. They don't seem to give a rat's backside about your desires. At first I chalked it up to being a problem because they just switched ownership and dropped the Lincoln line. Now we see it for what it is - a group of people who are unprofessional, disorganized and not interested. I would like to speak to the GM but he "doesn't take calls from customers"!! I might suggest he start or he won't have customers. On a scale of 1-100 I would rate this dealership a very strong 8! Dave from Winnipeg

Noah sold me my truck and he was extremely accommodating and didn't complain at all allowing me to test drive several different trim levels of the same truck. For the service department- had a recall done on my van. had been putting it off for a long time as I need my van for work. they got me in within 2 days and had it completed promptly with zero hassle. the van drives way better due to a free alignment included with this particular service( transmission recall). am extremely satisfied with parkside ford.

My vehicle suddenly died on me valentines evening, after consulting my owners manual I was able to trace the issue to a fuse that kept blowing everytime it was replaced. I was in close proximity to parkside and had it towed there fri. AM. In the afternoon (4:45) I was called and informed I had an internal short in my fuel heater (diesel truck). I was told the heater was just under $500, labor to put it in was just over $500. Cost of the repair would be $1004 + tax. I asked if there was any way to reduce the cost(as truck is 13 years old) unfortunately I was told this is the cost. I asked for a short time to review my options. Not really knowing what the fuel heater was I called the out of town dealership (fairway ford) I normally deal with and asked for a price on the fuel heater. Here I was told part would be $180 and around $200 for install. I was very skeptical (b/c of huge price difference). I had the truck towed out of town to have work done. At this time I was charged a $200 diagnosis fee before my truck was released from parkside.My truck was delivered back to me on tues. from the other dealership washed and running along with a bill for $557 taxes in. I was shocked, then called the service manager @ parkside to inform him of my experience. He said he would look into it (did it promptly). He called me back, saying he was confused because according to him I was quoted $700 for this part. I told him I had clearly been quoted $1004 for the repair (diagnosis was extra). Again he said he would dig deeper - he called me back today to inform me the additional $ was for another part and the labor to put it in even though this part had not previously been mentioned to me (the other dealership repaired the truck without needing this part). I did not feel parkside was looking out for my best interest, I asked for $110 back as this was how much more their diagnosis cost compared to the other dealership. He (service mgr.) would not refund any $, however he would give me a credit = to the entire amount of the diagnosis, I declined b/c in light of how my repair was calculated , I do not feel confident that they would be looking out for my best interest. The service mgr, did not see a problem with the enormous $ difference between dealerships b/c according to him they were providing more (even though my truck runs as it did before for the lesser $ amount.) The only thing I asked for was to get my truck running again, at the end of the day my repair cost 1/2 as much as they told me and as far as they were concerned couldn't be done for less.

I've always had my vehicle serviced here, which is usually a good experience. The service is fast and the people are friendly. The only screw up I experienced was when I called to check if it was a busy day as I was going in for an oil change, they guy on the phone told me it was and I was better off setting an appointment, which confused me a bit because I knew that the quick lube bay was first come first served. But since they said I could set an appointment, I thought, ok thats great, book me in. So my appointment day came and when I arrived at my scheduled time, they told me it was a two hour wait becuase there are already a couple of cars in line. But I said, wait I have an appointment. The guy checked his computer and true enough my name was on there, at the specified time. All he can do was shrug his shoulders and say sorry and I would have to wait. Seeing as there was no point in arguing, I just said thanks for wasting my time and left. So, while I think their service is great, they should really train those people answering the phones. I feel the three stars I am giving on this review is generous considering the hassle I experienced.
I have to say hands down the best experience I've ever had shopping for a new vehicle. All staff were extremely welcoming and great to deal with. They answered every question I had and took their time to explain things. Would absolutely recommend shopping at Vickar Ford.
The hospitality we received at Vickar Ford was very homely, we enjoyed the time we were there before getting a car because the sales person Sergio and the finance manager Salar were amazing. I am currently stuck in a lease for another 15 months with another dealership. When my 3 year old car had a $1500.00+ service bill, I tried to explore trading in my lemon for another car. Laura at Parkside, tried to help me get into another car, but due to my poor credit history and the current buy out value of my current car, (which included the repair bill and what was left on my lease), I was unable to get a decent interest rate. Rather than pressuring me into getting something I couldn't afford, she took time to listen to my situation and advised me who to contact about my unjust repair bill. I was unable to drive my car for more than 2 months, and received very little help from my own dealership, but with Laura's advice, in the end, I was able to get the manufacturer to pay my entire bill, calling it "Good Will Assistance." I cannot thank you enough Laura! I will definitely be coming back to you when my lease is up!

It's hard to believe that this dealership has a bad apple that we've been discriminated by this agent Toor. We feel discriminated with his practice asking me if how much and if I could afford an suv. Knowing my budget, I wouldn't shop for a vehicle that won't let my budget fit in. But, he's not satisfied with my firm yes and insisted if I'm sure or maybe I just extremely wanted the vehicle. I feel violated how he handle his practice towards us how he could be a help for people needing a vehicle. By the way, this place has been referred to us and never wanting to be back again as I already gotten a new vehicle by other dealership where me and my family were treated beyond expectation. Never judge.
I wend there to show a low tire pressure warning on my new ford escape but the people sits inside the service centre seems not interested to listen to our concerns but my sales person was very helpful and helped me to adress my concerns to them. But they won't listen to him either. If you approach a person sitting in the maintenance desk at the beginning, other persons won't help you even though if he is busy or not present at the desk. They will say ask you to wait until he is free. very disappointed

My husband took my car in for a recall yesterday and we also could not locate the block heater cord so we ask them to find it for us as well. Before I went to pick up my car I called to find out what time and if they had found the cord. Joseph said they did find the cord but they were unable to move it because it's hidden in the bumper, so they have to remove the bumper to pull out the cord and it would cost us $300.00. I am giving 4 stars because when I went to pick up the car I met Tony who was new (his first day at that location) and Allistair who worked on the recall that was done. I told them what Joseph said about the $300 to remove the bumper in order to get to the cord, so they looked and within 5 or so minutes they found the cord and was able to pull it out - at no cost. I didn't think that was worth $300 to remove and replace the bumper to pull out my block heater cord, but thankfully Tony was there and offered great service. Keep up the good work Tony, maybe they sent you there to shake things up.

Let me start this review with this - Ford wasn't my first choice for a new vehicle. I had been looking at many others - but the 2020 Escape I chose really is AMAZING. It won me over easily. She has almost all the bells and whistles I wanted. However, I am completely disappointed in the care I've received afterwards. I have had a couple of issues with the vehicle in the year and a half since I bought it, and the customer service I received was lack-luster at best. There are some amazing people in the service dept. for sure, but honestly, if I'd have known I would have to fight to get things fixed that SHOULD have been covered by the 5-yr bumper to bumper warranty (that I paid extra for, may I add....) I would NOT have purchased my car there. Period. But thankfully, there are other dealerships that I can go to - who have done a much better job of making sure that I leave happy, and not feeling like I made a huge mistake purchasing this vehicle. Birchwood Ford on Regent has definitely earned my business. Sadly, that was not the case - but, going forward, I am confident that I will be taken care of properly at Birchwood.
Bought a car from them 2 years ago, had to surrender the car cause of the car having soo many transmission problems and they sold me a car with no title. That means I can't register or put Insurance on it. Worst car I bought from this dealership. Not worth the 28 grand.

Update: After more than a month waiting, I finally received my reinbursement cheque back. Thanks to their CSM, Len Peech. I only wished I have dealth with him at the get go regarding this matter. He is a "real person" than you can talk to and even texts back using his personal cell number to give you update/answers to your questions. Not like the sales guy and the financing guy that handled my purchase of the car from this dealership who, after closing the deal can't be bothered on the phone and even gives conflicting answers to my questions. I'm updating my rating to 4 stars mainly because of Len. Again, Len Peech is a great guy, on top of his game when it comes to dealing with customer issues and complaints. I went to this dealership July 20 for a used Honda civic. The car wasn't ready on that day. I was told that if I'm really interested on the car i should put a deposit on it which I am. So I did put down a $1600 cash down/deposit and I am told the car will be ready Saturday, July 25th. Between July 20th to July 25th I decided to finance the whole amount of the car and I called and told their finance department that I will be getting back my 1600 to which they say it's fine. So on it goes, the deal went through and I get financing for the full amount of the car. July 25th, went back to the dealership to sign the financing papers and done deal, went home with the car. Meanwhile, I was told that they will send me by mail a cheque for the reinbursement of the $1600. So far more than three weeks passed, NO cheque in the mail. Tried calling them back but everyone is hard to get on the phone. Left messages but they don't call back. Finally got to talk to somebody and was told, delays are due to multiple signatures needed for the cheque to be issued. Last week (Tuesday Aug 4th) I was told the cheque has been mailed. Called them today because as of today, still NO cheque. Called them again numerous times before I could finally got a hold of someone and was told cheque was sent through purolator. I asked for a confirmation/tracking number, they couldn't give me one. Went to 2 local purolators (carberry and brandon) and I was told, it is weird that they didn't provide my email/or phone number to purolator so I can track the envelope myself. And that they hold on to items upto 5days only.
Something went wrong with my Ford Focus Transmission Control Module. I took the vehicle to their shop in McPhillips. I was told that they have some issues getting the chips for the control module and I was promised a service vehicle because both the engine and transmission are still under warranty. Its been a month and now they're not just giving me the run around, I am practically not getting any update. I already called them twice after they got hold of my vehicle.
Horrible new car buying experience. My brand new truck had a hole in the valve cover! Oil leaked everywhere, all over the engine, all over my driveway. The Service Technicians at Vickar/Parkside should not be trusted if they miss blatant defects such as this. They missed it twice; first doing the inspection when receiving the vehicle from Ford, and second when I spotted some oil on the ground in the showroom. The technicians determined the cause was a loose oil filter; somehow they missed the real reason. Best way to ruin a new car experience is to go through what I went through! You think Mr. Mustard is a nice guy? Wait until their dealership makes an error (such as selling someone a car with a defect) and see how nice he is then. Took my vehicle to another service spot to get fixed. Would not recommend buying a new car from Parkside Ford, or getting any service completed in their shop. As far as I'm concerned, any future issues with the engine in my truck is due to their failing as a dealership; Pre-inspection, post-inspection, and failing to compensate me properly for their mistakes. Only positive throughout the whole ordeal was my sales guy, Henry. Henry was great, it's just unfortunate that his support team cannot deliver.
The service is excellent and did what they had to do for us to be approved so this is a great service even if we weren’t approved they were willing to help us to get approved by simply guiding us to do what we had to do to improve our credit I totally recommend this place for your next vehicle you may not get what you want at first but they’ll give u something to work out your credit and to get you what you want to drive

Spent a long time discussing the price with the car salesmen (a ridiculous back and forth) and then when we finally got into sign the papers there was an extra $500 charge that we had been told was free. We complained and the sales manager just shrugged and said he wasn’t going to change it even though the sales man admitted he’d made a mistake. Completely wasted our time and felt totally disrespected by the end of it. Contacted the manager of the store later to complain and he never bothered to return my call or e-mail. Won’t ever be returning there.

Me and my friend drove 35 mins across the city to see their ford focus, as salesman Apollo mentioned outside of work that if we wanted a Ford, we should go to him. Apollo was great upon entry, however once we told him we aren't committed today as we were looking at other brands, he brought the general manager over to provide more pressure as to why we cannot commit on the first car we test drove (their Ford focus). GM said "we can only allow you to test drive if you plan on buying TODAY". He didn't even offer us another type of car to test drive after the car we came to look at after our talk was mysteriously "sold" after Apolo said it was available. The car was sitting in their lot for weeks. General manager was condescending and rude. We didn't feel welcome at all. 0/5 if I could. Would highly not recommend unless you want to be pressured and intimidated.

Since, we've had the car into the service department for an oil change and a couple of small concerns. We have found the staff to be cheerful, courteous and helpful. Again... nice. Over all we've been quite peased with our experience.

Amazing customer service in the Service Shop, above and beyond forsure. When my car kept dying and they had trouble disgnosing it they ended up arranging to have the car towed in and got a rental for me (I only paid for gas, they paid the rest). Cannot say enough times how amazing they are. Its never ideal to be having car problems but the way they have handled it makes all the difference.

Worst place ever!!! I needed to complete the buyout of my lease and all I got was a run around. When I asked what I needed to bring in to complete the buyout, I got evasive answers. When I finally booked a sitter for my kids so I could take care of this, they tell me I need a safety. That's fine, but could they not have told me that one of the first 3 times I called and asked what I needed to do??? This dealership is 40 minutes away from where I live, so it's not just a pop in thing. I had to cancel everything I had arranged and then arrange for a safety. After this then I got the name of the finance officer and talked to him. This guy was off-putting and not friendly at all. This dealership is not interested in working with you for anything! I called River city Ford and they were accommodating and were helpful and pleasant to deal with and we are trying to get the agreement sent there now so I can complete the buyout through them. I will never buy anything through Vickar Ford. (I originally bought through Parkside Ford, but they closed and everything went to Vickar).

brought my 2005 ford focus in for a look over and to get a new key mad for it which they did in a timely manner the only reason they dont get a 5 star is because i asked if they could find my block heater cord which they agreed to and when i picked my car up it wasnt out so i had to stand outside in -20 weather looking for it so i could make sure my car started. but other than that they are very friendly.

Made the mistake of giving a deposit luckily it was only $100 keep getting the run around trying to get it back for over a week avoid the headache and shop any place else.

Car: 2013 Ford Focus Titanium Automatic Bought: 2015 I have been a diligent owner that spent more upfront to get a better product with better service. Since I've owned this vehicle, I have had to take this car in 3 times for warranty repairs on the transmission. This is an issue that is has been subject to a class-action lawsuit. My car is now at 141k KM and will require yet another replacement clutch and assembly. I will now need to bring my car offline for 2 days (1 for diagnostics and 1 for repair) and I can only assume that this iteration of the OEM part is the same as the last - by this math I now have an ongoing recurring cost of $2,000/40,000 km - at minimum. It is now off-warranty and there is apparently nothing either the dealership can do nor can Ford Canada. Despite being a multi-billion dollar company there is nothing they can do. If my details fit your description then buyer beware: Ford is a company that does not stand behind their product. Vickar is a dealership that does not stand behind their customers.

The service done on my vehicle went well. While making my appointment for the service was a bad experience. I made my appointment with the Service Manager and she was not friendly and not pleasant, at the end of the conversation I tried to wish her a good weekend and halfway thru she hung up on me while I was still talking to her. I honestly think she does not belong on the phone at all.

Vickar Ford is by far the best, friendliest and helpful dealerships I've ever encountered. I contacted Vickar Ford for a slightly use 2020 Camaro 2SS 1LE that they had. I reside in Montreal and have never bought a car out of province before. I had the pleasure of being helped by Ryan Porco who was EXTREMELY helpful by sending me pictures, videos and even FaceTiming me about the car to insure that the car was as advertised (which it was) and without any fault. It's also worth highlighting how awesome Vickar's Finance department is. Mathew Henry provided me all the details on registering a car from out of province, dealing with taxes and giving me a great deal on the Camaro! I've genuinely never had a more professional yet friendly experience from any dealership before!! Thank you Ryan, Mathew and Vickar Ford!!
When i first arrived i thought everybody was super friendly. They did their best to meet my needs financially. Unfortunately when i decided to opt out of buying the vehicle i was looking at suddenly nobody was nearly as friendly as they originally seemed. Now that they have to pay my deposite back suddenly nobody will return my calls (several calls and messages left) it has now been 1 week and i still have not heard back from anyone for my refund. If anyone is interested in a ford i highly suggest Capitol ford over vickar ford. Way nicer better service weather you end up buying from them or not.

I purchased a 2016 F 150 which at time of purchase had a front shock that had leaked out its oil as well as the hood release cable was stretched and could not open the hood. I pointed this out to the sales person and he said to bring it back for the repairs. These are both items that need to be in good condition to pass safety inspection which was performed at Vickar Ford. The service department replaced the leaking shock no charge but did not cover replacing the other front shock which any shop would recommend to replace both at 88,000 km. and should have been done at time of safety. They replaced the hood latch and charged me $100 and i still can’t open the hood as the cable is stretched as i informed them. The service manager Tony Cianflone messaged me asking if i had any questions or concerns to contact him so i messaged him and he said he would call me regarding the matter. He didn’t call me so i called him and he said he was to busy to look into the matter that day but would get back to me. I waited one week still no call so i called and got his voice mail and left a message to please call me. Waited another week with no call from him. I then called the vice president Domenic Sacco twice only to get his voicemail and left two messages for him to please call. It is now a month since purchase and have not received a call from anyone at Vickar Ford. So now after a $763.00 bill i have to repair the hood release cable myself so i can add washer fluid. Its a shame Cam Clark sold a great Ford dealership to Ed Vickar who has degraded it to a low class operation. I will never return to Vickar Ford for any purchase or service and certainly won’t recommend them to anyone.

Wow, wow, wow. The whole team at Vickar should be so proud of the job done by those we dealt with in the purchase our two vehicles (on the same day!). We were greeted immediately upon getting there, and felt very privileged to deal with Len, and Andrea. Len reassured us early he would take care of us, and we would leave happy and he held his word! We may not have always been the easiest customers but that didn't get in the way of us getting excellent customer service. Andrea was fantastic as well. He went well above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had all of our needs met and questions answered. Salar- quite honestly the imbodiment of fantastic customer service. From the time we met with him in the beginning until the final deal was signed we were so impressed. He was not only very personable and honest, but explained everything we needed to know and understand. More than that, he understood us and advocated for us - even though it meant going way above and beyond and staying late long after home time. Unbelieveable service at Parkside!! Fit me in when I had a major issue with my Lincoln. Then arranged to have a courtesy car for me from a car rental place. Only complaint was that the car rental cost me $100 in the end. (Apparently I agreed to $22 a day for insurance).

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE service. If I could give a -10 STAR review I would. I have owned only Ford vehicles in my life and this is the first time I have ever had such terrible service. Think twice if you get extended warranty, as parts they say are covered , really are not covered. For example, struts are covered under my warranty, but they re-worded it as shocks, and shocks are not covered. the service guys said they tried all avenues TO HELP GET IT COVERED, but I still have to pay!! They also think that they can pull one over on me cause I am female, until my husband showed up. Stories were changing all of a sudden. I had to call and price out parts from another Ford dealer and Vickar was 50 dollars more !! DON'T TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO VICKAR FOR SERVICE!!!!
I am trying to get a recall done on my Ford Fusion. I have called 4 times and keep getting a different explanation. First two times was parts are on back order call back later was not asked for VIN number. Then it was parts are 2 days away make an appointment. Then when I try to make an appointment they tell me they need my VIN number so they can order parts to match. They should have asked for the damn VIN 5 weeks ago. Trying to find another Ford Dealer with better service.Update one call to another dealership and I am booked in to have the recall done and have already received a confirmation email.
First time to leave comments to others. They advertising truck price on the autoTrader improperly. And I said that's not always happen, I am not interested in that specific truck then. And sales person just hung up the phone call directly without even one world. It makes me feel like they are trying to say " get out here!!!". Hey, the GM of this dealership. You should know how your employees treat your customers. They are not supposed to be like that rude.
Kyle the Sales manager was very transparent and explained how the price of the truck works out per model and trim. He was sincere in helping us find the best deal within our budget and kept us grounded to what we need than what we want. He went the extra mile to help us afford the difference when we requested for deferred payment options. Can't thank him enough. My wife really liked his "pitch" :-) Darcy the finance manager pulled a hat trick by finding us a financial institution that accommodated our loan. He also hit the home run when he was able to squeeze-in a late request on a really needed remote starter. He made the package feel complete for what we needed it for. The sincerity in him is remarkable. Andrea the Sales consultant was over and beyond the call of duty. From informing us the different truck options, taking time to show us the features of the truck, making sure we were attended to promptly and even fixed me a tea. His talents showcased the good man he is as he meant it when he said we are family to him, made sure we were all set, ready and safe as we embark in this milestone of our lives. Andrea would be my go to person, he would be the only one i would recommend to handle all my friends and families vehicle needs. I could not ask more from him, he was so patient from the very beginning and even took our pictures at the end of the process. Andrea is the best there is! The younger sales consultants should definitely need to learn from him. The entire experience was respectful and empathetic. The environment was full of positivity they even accommodated my whoooot whoooot and cheers. This trio made it work. This is NOT a 1-star rating. My rating is a 0-star rating. Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. Walked in, but was NOT greeted by anyone in the showroom. Literally walked by 4 employees but neither of them acknowledged us. Not even a simple “hello” or “good afternoon.” I instantly felt a bad and negative vibe and felt very unwelcome. Will never consider stepping into Vickar Ford on Main and Templeton ever again and would NOT recommend.
How a dealership should be run!! New ownership is great! We came here after dealing with Steeltown Ford for years and were let down time after time by them. One would have thought after purchasing multiple vehicles from Steeltown that they would treat you well but unfortunately they didn’t. I purchased my new F 150 from Vickar Ford and will be purchasing my next one here also. No need to run from dealer to dealer as they treat you right the first time.
Henry Clyke really helped me get the best deal even when the person that took my trade in said my four wheel drive was not working. Henry and I took my truck for a drive and proved that the four by four was working. I think the person taking a vechicle for a test drive should read up on how to operate a different type of truck other than a ford. I came very close to walking away from the deal but because Henry worked with me and proved the other person was wrong about my truck I closed a deal So far my new truck is running great

One of the most important things is that the Parkside Ford wants to put you in a right, good quality and well-maintained vehicle when that comes to the used inventory. Moreover, it is not one of those dealerships where you come, buy and they forget about you. At the Parkside Ford, there are always people to help you out if you have any questions or concerns after the purchase! If I am to rate my experience with this dealership on the scale from 0-10, then it is a solid 10!
took my truck 3 times, for my brakes and few otherminer issues should of been notice by them before selling but every time i hit my brakesthey squeak and got told brand new truck make thst sound , no i drive a brand new truck at work,and defiently doesn't and make that still never fix the problem , gave up dont have time keep missing work, after 3rd try ask who paying for this defiently not m.j e just bought it ... and needs new tires the one i got lasted 5 months, which i ask before buying was told id have to pay for them if i wanted better tires these are still good ...more money out of my pocket now

I went in for an oil change. My warning light was coming on for "Low Tire Pressure". I was told that I needed to replace the Stem Sensor. I want to add the only service place that has touched my vehicle is Vickar Ford. I bought the vehicle from them a little over 1 year ago. My tire went in with 5 lug nuts but left with only 4 because one was cross threaded. No one told me. I checked my invoice later in the evening and found out. They didn't put the special piece away either. They left it along with the lug nut in my coffee holder. I have been trying to talk to the service manager but so far my calls has not been returned. I want them to fix it. Why should I be driving around with only 4 lug nuts because someone messed up. I was very disappointed in the service and even more so with trying to get some answers. I am very frustrated.
Personnel at Parkside reasonably helpful, but very unhappy with Ford for not standing behind what should have been a warranty problem.
I have never been so impressed with a Dealer's Service Department as I am with Parkside Ford's Service Department. My service appointment was on time and completed sooner than expected. There are no other dealer service departments like Parkside Ford . Friendly staff and you can tell everyone genuinely enjoys their jobs. I am very happy with my vehicle purchase and even more happy with the service from Parkside Ford.
DO NOT go to this dealership! Customer service and satisfaction are non existent. From the shoddy workmanship from the service department, to the unreliable service manager, Tony, and even including the GM, Len Peech. Calls not returned by either of these men. Delays and poor service work that resulted in an unsafe driving experience for us. All of which could have been dealt with via a phone call - that never happened! We can’t speak to the sales department as our issues were with service. But we will never find out how the sales staff are because we won’t be returning to Vickar Ford for our next vehicle. People, avoid this place if at all possible. There are plenty of other Ford dealerships around who would be happy to provide you with good service. Reading other reviews on this site, it seems the issues are mostly with the service department. Similar complaints - no call backs, poor communication, shoddy work, delays and more. We aren't the only ones! Be warned!
Henry Clyke is hands down the best sales person ever. We never felt pressured into buying anything, but he manages to find us the perfect vehicle every time. He takes his time explain the vehicle each and every time and he cares about your needs. He is always greeting everyone with a smile and always provides friendly costumer service. We know we can trust him and he's extremely honest for a sales person ;-)

Parkside Ford... what a dealership should be. Henry Clyke... what a salesman should be - honest, straight-forward, no B.S., and no trying to talk me into buying something I didn't need. I stopped in to look at a used f-150, drove off in a better one that wasn't even advertised...and was a better deal. I was so pleased with the experience I went back with the wife to get her an Expedition that was better priced than what anybody else was offering. When we noticed a small paint chip a month later, Henry took care of it. No questions asked and no extra charge. I would recommend Parkside to anyone and everyone. And their prices are just a little better than other dealerships' around town.
Yes accommodating and nice to make a sale but when giving info about downpayment deposits they not honest if i knew ahead of time that cash deposits will be given back by cheque and takes almost a week to make is ridiculous, also given the run around about when it would be ready and excuses that they need the boss to sign it.In my opinion what kind of boss doesn't go to work????????????♀️
Called for a Diagnostic on car 2 days before arriving. When I arrived on the date that I was given to bring car in they had no information that I had called, or even setup a diagnostic. Was given about an hour wait time to give my car a computer diagnostic. Waited 4 hours, and still my car hasn't been taken in for diagnostic. When calling service desk I was told I would be given a callback. I never did receive it. Instead I had to call them back again to find out what was going on. Terrible customer service and estimates... Waste of my time.

Had my vehicle serviced about 2 weeks ago due to a check engine light. Was told everything was okay but then had the same issue a week after but even worse . My car died at an intersection today , paid for towing. Called for service only to get put through voicemail . Just horrible.

We purchased a used F250 diesel crew cab from Parkside about 2 years ago. There has been some major problems with it, most of them were able to be fixed under warranty. The first time we had to take it in it was a pretty painful experience, but we just had to have some more warranty work done in the beginning of September 2013 and there was a big improvement in the service department, once they were able to diagnose the issue.
I suffer from repeated harassing calls from this dealership even after asking several times to be removed from their call list. They obviously are a disorganized and poorly run business if they cannot even get a “do not call” list right. If you do not want to continuously get hassled week after week (sometimes twice in a day) do not do business with these people and if you do, do not give them your phone number.
Henry in sales was awesome to deal with. Had some issues with the lot staff in having the vehicle ready at agreed to times but would certainly deal with Henry again in the future.
I loved every minute of buying my brand new truck from Jesse Goertzen at Parkside Ford he was funny ,caring , not pushy and very honest. I will highly recommend Jesse and Parkside to anyone in the market for a Ford product!! Also the financing was great too!

Told the dealership exactly what I was looking to find, was told everything under the sun when I received the vehicle as not as agreed. I had instructed the salesman 10 times that I wanted exactly what I had just newer was told yes yes. Then when I have a bad review they continued to give me lip service and the problems still not dealt with will never give my recommendation to this dealership. I would say look elsewhere to find your needs unless it’s exactly what you want.
Randy was very helpful with my purchase of a used 2013 Ford F150. He knew I was shopping around different makes as I wasn't sure between Ford and Chevy. Randy never pressured me with making a decision right then and there. He gave me space when he felt I needed it and is fun to work with. His product knowledge is top notch and he is very laid-back in his approach to sales. He obviously loves what he does. The team at Parkside all work together to provide a great experience for their customers. The environment inside is upbeat and happy. Will defiantly be going back to see Randy when my girlfriend is ready for a newer SUV.

I was very impressed with my 2017 Titanium Escape; the magnetic colour is so classic. I never saw the car and so I never got to drive it. I was nervous. But there were 3 main things I wanted: leather seating, panaramic window and good gas milleage (just as good as my Sante Fe). All of that was met. Then came the pricing which had to be around the $200.00 biweekly mark. I can’t believe that was possible. Next issue was that my husband could leave our farm, due to Harvest so all the documents/papers had to be printed off and we also sent some things to James Nakonechny (dealer) as well. Then James delievered our suv and took back our Sante Fe which we did on trade. I was so happy when I sat in it,I could not stop smiling. I loved how James programmed my phone for me to the Suv and explained all the little buttons/ seats. And even said his car, didn’t have ‘this’. Which made me feel even more special. Lol My husband’s words were “I could drive to Mexico in this car”. Lol My boys are tall and I’m very happy they have leg room in the back. The ride is extremely smooth, I can’t believe how smooth. The suv was an excellent buy and the service was beyond kind and accommodating. In three years we will be looking for a truck and I know we will be returning to your business. From Tammy Tapp
Hard to say. Don’t expect jump to the pump service for commercial sales. Seems car sales is better but not what I was interested in. Check Mercedes for a better commercial experience. I like my F150 but that’s a reflection of Ford not Vikar. Sorry for the low stars, was just my experience.
Most high pressure sales tactics I've ever seen. @ the end I had 3 sales people making me tell them why I didn't want to proceed with that particular car! Did not purchase a car and never plan on going back here. Received ongoing calls from sales 3 weeks after leaving the dealership. Leaving voicemails every opportunity they had. DESPERATE to sell a car wow.

Took my f450 into the dealership to have a safety....this vehicle has 35,000 kms only...did not pass the safety and was told I would need over $2000.00 worth of front end work to pass safety....Took it for a second and third opinion...it passed at 2 other shops..I had purchased the truck at the same location when it was Parkside Ford..they had done all the service on the vehicle prior to the change of ownership....did have some problems with them as well...doing extra work without authorization...but we sorted that out to my satisfaction.When I first talked to the service department at Vickars the person I was referred to was unable to say 4 words without swearing...all in all a terrible experience with this dealer and will be buying my new F150 at another dealership.

The atmosphere was very welcoming as soon as I walked in the door, I didn't have to search for someone to help me like I have at many other dealerships. I specifically dealth with Laura in sales, and she was awesome! Very down to earth and not afraid to crack a joke at her own expense. She made the experience very comfortable and a lot easier than I had imagined. So much so that, by the end of our encounter I had someone ask if she and I knew each other, just by the way we were communicating. I brought my Ford Escape 2013 to Vickar Ford Service to fix leaking water pump under warranty. After the water pump was replaced, Vickar's technicians called me and recommended to change my alternator right away for the cost of $1050+Tax. They claimed that the connector of the alternator was broken. I decided to take a closer look at the problem on my own and found the damaged connector. A significant part of the connector was chipped off exactly where it goes under the connected part. The alternator had to be moved from its position to provide technicians with access to the water pump. I think that a technician used a screwdriver to push the connected part away from the alternator's connector. The tech applied too much pressure on the connector's body and broke it. I contacted Tom Fones to resolve the issue. The manager was very polite but refused to cover the cost of repair, because I could not prove that they made it. Really, I was not in the shop when that happened. The best option they could offer was splitting the cost of repair assuming $400 out from my pocket. I did not feel good about paying for the mechanical damaage of the part, but I was told that one day my car will stop working because of that. And I agreed to pay $400 for the new alternator. Tom said that they will order the part and call me back when it is ready for install. That was on November 13th. Today is December 19th - no call so far. Last weekend I tired of waiting for their call and sealed the hole in the connector with RTV silicone that I bought for $8 from Canadian Tire. Few things to conclude the long story. Again, this is only my experience and thoughts. Positive: - Very polite staff - Free shuttle from/to the shop - Fixed original issue (water pump) in one day Negative: - Broke another part of my car and asked to pay for it - Refused take responsibility for that because I could not proove that - Made me to cover 35% of the cost from my pocket - Forgot about me Recommendation to the dealership: - Transferring responsibility for technical mistakes to a client is not the best way to do the business Recommendation to customers: - Keep in mind that you may need a proof in case your car is damaged there (video, photo, looking over tech's shoulder)
I never felt any pressure from anyone at this dealership. Les, the accessories guy has been doing accessories work for decades and he was incredibly helpful. He wasn’t trying to sell me things I didn’t need and gave me great advice. The same thing can be said about Salar, the finance guy. From the sales people, to the finance department, and everything in between they all listened to what I wanted and they never tried to sell me something I didn’t need. When I asked them for their advice they gave me advice that was in my best interest, which wasn’t always in the dealership’s best interest. I can’t say enough good things about my experience.
This our 3rd lease from Ford, always happy with the service we receive from Jim and Henry. Only snag this time, when we picked up the Edge, we noticed the rear door was not fitting properly. Henry promptly went to the service dept, to make them aware, and said they would be calling to give us an appt to have it fixed. We received no call , Henry called to see on Monday to see if we had been given an appt. He checked with them and called and said he had spoken to them, and we would be getting a call, still no call. Same thing next day. Finally on Friday my husband tried calling, had trouble getting through, so drove to Ford. Service manager, just happened to come along, and said he was just about to call. Finally ! Left the vehicle there and shuttled my husband home. Had to be picked up and taken back to get the vehicle. A lot of time wasted over something that seemed to be a somewhat easy fix. Otherwise very happy with our new vehicle. Not used to this type of service from Ford.

Great Service. I called just to ask some questions about a truck I was looking at online. Chris Steinke answered everything I needed and actually suggested to me one that came in a few days previous that wasn't posted yet. When I swung in to take a look, he had it ready to go for me. The test drive was relaxed not pushy in the least and when I noticed some very tiny flecks of over spray from the undercoating I opted for he gave me a free detailing for whenever I chose in the future (the flecks came out easy enough later that night). He's currently still working to find me a Tow Hitch, 3-4 weeks after the deal is already done! Top Notch service for sure and the truck is everything I was looking for.

I needed tires for my truck and they pretty well had the best deal around. Their service on tires and an oil change was great and fast.
terrible service and work practices in the service/shop 1. aftermarket badge was improperly installed, made it right buy offering to replace it. installed it my self after 2. tire balance was off by 3-4oz after Kal Tire told me and rebalanced them and actually cleaned the wheel of weights 3.after an oil change, was still showing low oil after letting the truck sit for 5 mins, 4. tire rotation, they didn't reprogram the tire TPS sensors had to do it my self 5.mounting mud flaps ,they drilled multiple holes into the rear wheel well and just left raw metal to rust 6. undercoating, they didn't even clean the exterior paint from all of the overspray from undercoating,
I've had very poor experience. I had an appointment on Oct 31 for my car. (I've had appointments prior to this date where I needed the parts which they never have in stock) It needed new parts and they didn't have them. They told me that they would call me back in two weeks. It never happened. I called them back after two weeks and told them I've been waiting and they said they'd call me back in a day. It didn't happen. Another two weeks later, I called the man who sold me the car and the service manager. They called me back within the day. (One month later) In the meantime, my car is still not completely fixed. (Dec 19th) I've been waiting for a part (again) in order to get my car completely fixed. Anyhow, service has been very poor! Think twice before buying a car here.

I have been going to Vickar Ford for over 3 years. I'm done with their poor customer service. Two of many examples , came in for oil change and asked if they can change out a fuse that was blown. Would have taken them 10 mins at the most to change. They said no make another appointment to bring it back. Second of many , Block heater cord warranty replacement , Truck in on Monday to have other service done, I asked about the if the block heater cords have come in as been six months. They said yes they are in on Tue and i would have to bring the truck back in. I said find and booked an appointment for Wed. Sat for 2 hours, truck went on the host and off. They told me that was the inspection to see what cord i needed as there was more than on for the truck and they don't have the one i need. I was told to come back, Could they not have done the inspection on Monday when it was there for 4 hours. They keep making these mistakes over and over again. They don't care about my time. Service manager said he will look into this and phone back, Its been 3 weeks and no call. Will now try Birch wood on Regent

Recently bought out by vickar group not the same service as I used to get with parkside I have a maintenance plan which covers multiple comon wear items . 1 of the things they do is rotate the tires every service This time they didn't because they are close enough to being even well as far as I'm concerned there even because there always rotated parkside always gave me A-1 service And free mustard I left vickar ford feeling frustrated about the lack of effort on there part .

BEWARE!!!before signing a contract. I bought a truck last February 2021 in Vickar Ford Main Street and the agreement that we had is 5 years contract together with the down-payment that they asked.Last week I did check my contract it says 6 years to pay and I did contact the salesman.At first he did remember that we discussed of 5 years then when I told him the problem suddenly he said he don't remember the 5 years payment that we discussed. I went to the office and still they insisted thats its 6 years. Out of good faith, we sign the contract without checking it.We will never buy a car again in that place again.Not recommended.

I'm not one to leave bad reviews but this dealership is a disgrace to Ford. The service department is unknowledgeable and lies about completion dates, not once but three times. Bought the car from a Vickar dealership and they would not honor my gift card for an oil change (they said they would when I booked). They almost didn't cover my cars recall (which I was NOT notified of). Broken steering harness bolt which damaged my power steering entirely. The recall was finally covered as I threatened to call ford Canada and could have been seriously hurt. I was then charged for a front alignment because they had to replace the power steering.....(which is apart of the recall) Just an absolute joke of a company. Do yourself a favor and go to an actual garage for repairs because dealer ships will kick you to the curb once you drive your vehicle off the lot. disgusted with the lack of service.

Brought in my 2013 Ford Fiesta in because of terrible front end noise. They found some things wrong but didnt give me any details on what "front stab ends" are. I also called this guy named Raj to figure out what front stab ends are and what is a shop repair order charge is. All i asked for was a quote what the parts are and how much are they. Didnt even get a quote in my hands. Raj also told me my lower steering shaft is clunky when turning..turned out to be spring bushings. I would give 1 star but one of the mechanics drove with me to figure out whats wrong. Vickar would have got 5 if they just told me what front stab ends are, tell me why i was charged for a shop repair order and return my calls. Is this how you treat your customers Vickar? All i wanted was information on parts and prices and follow up questions. UPDATE: just got back in town from my 2 month vacation and number provided by owner is no longer in service. Come to Vickar Ford at your own risk.
My very first time dealing with Vickar Ford will not be my last. I lucked out and got a great young salesman by the name of Jake who was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Im a pretty tough guy to please but was happy with the whole experience. Great job Vickar.
Service was fast and friendly. I am happy with my vehicle. However, sometimes little things are missed. I would like to see about accessories. I was told I’d get an accessory catalogue but I haven’t heard back. Otherwise, quite satisfied.

After shopping around several ford dealership in Winnipeg, I finally bought my 2019 F150 from this dealership. I am very happy with my new truck. Sales manager Kyle and sales person Derek were very professional and friendly to help me went through the whole purchasing process. Kyle made the best deal to me compare with other deal and Derek drove me to the autopak to get my new truck an insurance. Highly recommended Kyle and Derek at this dealership if you are looking to buy a new truck.
Purchasing the vehicle was a pleasant experience no complaints there. However plastering "BUILT FORD TOUGH" on the back window of our Nissan didn't make any sense. The gas "fill up" turned out to be half a tank full, and I have left several messages at the contact number you have provided for feedback inquiring why the rear windshield wiper has no rubber at all on it.
Been in 3 times for same problem and they keep saying nothing wrong with the phone I however am not an idiot and I know a car phone that's not working correctly ..so this will be last Lincoln I drive because I pay for results not excuses
Salesman tried selling me a 2016 F-150 for $21.000. Not a bad deal eh? Yeah only 262 bi weekly for 6 years. Do the math, something doesn't add up here (comes out to $37,728). And I got a "excellent credit score" according to him so can't be due to bad credit. He tried talking me into it for over 2 hours and I told him I want to think about it, but he just wanted a sale which he didn't get in the end because he was way to pushy. Just your average sleazy salesman trying to give you every trick in the old book and screw you over. Will never go there again and I will tell everyone I know to avoid this place.
John at Parkside looked after me great, the Explorer was washed and vacuumed after the service and I was very satisfied. He also signed me up for their points program and explained how it worked and what they had done to the vehicle.
It was our first experience at Parkside Ford and after going to a few other local Ford dealers, we really appreciated the up-front approach we received at Parkside. Gerry Malenfant was very helpful and knowledgeable and knew how to deal with a customer. No hidden costs in the prices listed for leasing etc. Will definitely return to Parkside next time we are looking for a vehicle.
I normally do not write reviews on items I buy. But figured I would for the truck I purchased from Vickars. Andrea Masci was my sales rep. I put him through the paces for over six weeks trying to find me the right vehicle, which he did. If you want a sales rep that will work for you, keep you updated with what's going on and to be patience with you, if you're a mind changer as I was. Call Andrea Masci. He is a sales rep you can trust and doesn't pressure you into a situation you don't want to be in. Andrea, Thanks for being patience with me and finding me the right vehicle.
BE CAREFUL! I recently purchased my vehicle here and I was literally pushed by the Finance Manager to purchased the warranty that I don't want. He told me that he will have to resubmit my application if I don't purchased the warranty and that it could result in my application being decline or even a higher interest rate. Yes, he told me this after they called me that my application has already been approved...hahaha. According to the Finance Manager, my approval rating is very high if I take the warranty because according to him buying the warranty will give the bank some assurance that I will continue to make my payment in the event that something goes wrong with the vehicle. Knowing that the warranty can be cancel within 30 day, I just signed the papers just to get him off my back because he continued to insist that I purchased the warranty. The next day, I emailed him to cancel the warranty but again insist that I should think about it first. Suggesting a warranty to a customer is one thing but pushing customer to buy it after repeatedly telling them that you don't want it, certainly feels like scam me.
From the moment I met with the salesperson Uday, he made me feel comfortable and assured that the vehicle I was purchasing was well within my comfort level and financial budget. Because of this experience, I will definitely be recommending my friends and family members to purchase their new or used vehicles through Uday at Vickar on Main. I have been to all the Ford dealership in Winnipeg and Parkside Ford Lincoln is by far the most welcoming and best sales associates who focus on bringing you the vehicle that you really want/need, no BS and no pushing you to what vehicles they have to sell (unlike other). I trader in my truck with Vickar. I feel like I got a fair price. Things took a while to process, it kinda had me spooked, but everything worked out just fine. Everyone I interacted with at the dealership was very personable, so when I reflect back on it, ignore the spooked feeling I had, it was a nice visit.
Re 5 stars... can you give me a new truck with low payments and no credit check? I might give 5 stars for that? I gave 4 stars because i found someone else's key in my truck when i picked it up and had to walk it into the office.
First off, we were able to walk around the show room on our own, with the sales reps giving us our space. Good system in place: 1) met with a Manager to determine what we were looking for & went through some of their inventory. 2) our sales rep: thorough explanation of inside & outside components of the vehicle before the test drive. 3) our sales rep ensured that all our questions were answered, if not by him, than by another Manager more in the know. 4) respectfully gave us some private time to discuss on our own. 5) professionalism displayed throughout our negotiations (vs hard sell tactics). 6) Another detailed run through when we picked up the vehicle, syncing my cell, etc. End result - a satisfied customer. Thanks Vickar Ford! Just waiting for my call to play the Vegas game! :)
If I could give more than 5-Stars I would gladly. I will briefly share why this experience with Uday, Salar & the Vickar team was positively a polar opposite experience than another Ford Dealership in the City (one who quotes themselves as the #1 Volume Selling Ford Dealership in Manitoba) I was wanting to purchase a Bronco Sport; which I respect were (are) hard to come by at this time. It’s basically a purchase unseen situation. I had visited another dealership who found one for me (from another dealership) - and they had me initial a scrap piece of paper, put down a deposit, and fill out a credit app for this mystery Bronco. Found out later that day, that unit was sold. So they (this other dealership) found another. I repeatedly asked over a week or so where this vehicle was located. They wouldn’t tell me, and in fact got agitated when I kept asking. When I sent an inquiry to Vickar, Uday got back to me very promptly. He told me where one of their Broncos was, and agreed to a $1000 off if the vehicle wasn’t delivered to their lot by the latest date he had mentioned. The “other” dealership was not happy about this and tried to bully me into staying with them; threatening to keep my deposit, seeking possible other penalties, and questioning my integrity as a man, and as a Veteran; which sealed the fate for them immediately. Uday and the Vickar team were very quick to make me feel comfortable & confident in their system, and excited about the Bronco they were bringing in for me. It arrived many days before the deadline Uday gave me. One evening I get a text with a picture of one of their drivers smiling with a thumbs up in my new Bronco. The Finance Manager, Salar was funny, courteous, and took the time to go over honest options with warranties & such. An amazing experience. Can’t believe how 2 dealerships could operate so differently when they sell the same vehicles. Thank you Vickar!!!

I originally dreaded having to deal with sales personnel but was quickly put at ease, made to feel comfortable by Shawn Henke, and the rest of the team were very professional, fun and helpful. The Ranger is wonderful and I love it. My wife does to. I do not say this lightly but Shawn Henke is as influential to sales as The Beatles are to music. Bought my ford edge from this dealership. Paid for extended warranty. Getting the dealership to honor the warranty has been a horrible experience. I've brought in my ford on three seperate occasions to the service department to get a single issue dealt with. The service rep will give you lip service but not follow up. I've had to bring the car in repeatedly over a ten month period. Each time the rep says he will file the claim and get back to us. Never does. When I finally got the service department to follow through on fixing my issue I was told it wasn't covered as it was over 70000km. No kidding. If I didn't have to spend ten months worth of phone tag with the service reps trying to get one issue dealt with I wouldn't be over 70000km. All for a $220 repair. NEVER EVER deal with this company. RUN far away. The customer service is horrendous. Just scroll down through the reviews of this place to see similar experiences with customer service. It was great while under Parkside ford. The new Vickar is awful. The response is always the same, "thanks for your feedback."No attempts to even rectify the errors.

I have been a loyal customer for well over a decade having my vehicles serviced at Parkside Ford. The excellent customer service is what keeps bringing me back. Recently, I was on a lengthy road trip. I was 2000km from home and my oil light came on. I stopped driving and called Parkside Ford. I told Trevor what happened and he walked me through what to do to get the vehicle back to Winnipeg. Trevor is a knowledgable, caring service advisor who went above and beyond his job. He called me while I was driving back for updates, he logged how much oil was being lost, and had my vehicle in immediately upon my return. Trevor takes a vested, genuine interest in the satisfaction of his customers. Upon returning home it was discovered that there were substantial leaks within the oil seals. Without Trevor's help on this issue, my vehicle would not have made it home and I would have been forced to purchase a new vehicle. Everyone at Parkside Ford has always been very helpful and informative to me but especially Trevor. When getting my vehicle serviced he is the one I trust. Thanks for going the extra mile for me. It is definitely appreciated.

Absolutely would never recommend this dealer ship to anyone. I was charge over 10,000 and after only having my Ford Escape for 9 months was told I need all bran new tires. The sales guy never returned my calls after I message him about wanting to trade my suv in and was so rude to me. After he found out I didn’t want to deal with ford again he could careless about doing what he could to win me back as a customer. The WORSE DEALERSHIP BY FAR! and when u walk in the ladies sitting there couldn’t stair at u anymore than how they were! Really unprofessional all around and hate that I trusted them and all I got was a useless suv that needs brand new tires and rude staff

Since it changed to vickar the service department has gone way down. They brought in Mike from who knows where to alienate long-standing customers and send us searching for a new service garage. Went from a five star place to minus five. Update: got a call from Tom the service manager the day after posting this review. He wanted to make it right, but not until the next time I come in. I went back because they had my tires in storage. Had a flat the day after they changed them, needless to say they didn’t make it right.

Drop the truck Ford Explorer 2017 off to check the rear noise, and was told that the truck needs a new rotors and brake pads for rear. agent told it would costs $550 plus tax to replace. Final bill came out at $824.16 . They charge $139.95 for inspection, and other fees on top of $550. Very disappointed , I will never do any service or business there again.
I have had extraordinary service from Kyle, Jake and Salar. They go beyond what you expect and I would recommend them and Vickar to anyone that asks. I am truly grateful for them all. Also Steve and his crew in autobody go beyond what you expect.

salesman Andre was very unprofessional, dishonest, using anger as a motive to push sale. I have been buying my vehicles at dealerships for years and this is by far the worse experience, I never knew salesmen are allowed to insult clients. I emailed about the new f150s, got through with andre I asked that pics on autoTrader seems to be missing photos of the productive screen/gauge cluster, he said these are all upgraded for the 2020 model year, i went to the dealership and its the old LCD screen display, he told me he thought I was talking about the infotainment sceen which I was very clear in my words.anyway I gave him the benifit of the doubt and asked which one on your lot has what i'm looking for. Then he came back with a truck which is obviously out of my price range then he does the usual like other dealers where they say "let me talk to my manager" then comes back with the "I can give you an extra $$$ for your trade and take an extra $$$ off the vehicle" which was still obviously above my price range and this is the part where he started being pushy and start giving me attitude and getting angry with me telling me to take it and I'm not going to find a better price anywhere. Told him no thats okay and Midtown has the model I was looking for with the features and he couldn't price match or honor my millitary discount which is okay. This is the part we were outside looking at the vehicle where he yelled out and started throwing his hands and said "YOU SEE WHAT I MEAN" I'm wasting his time and start getting pushy at me, stargerd frowning and giving me attitude. IN FRONT OF OTHER PEOPLE (another older male employee saw and turned a blind eye). obviously I felt embarrassed and wanted to leave so I did. after all that he spam called me and I didn't answer, he left a voice mail and texting saying "I know you are mad at me but that's okay", midtown ford is lying to you to get you there and what I want dont exist, they are just telling you that to lure you there". He insulted me at the dealership and after I left he called me and told me he doesnt care and other dealer is lying to you?. Guess what I went to midtown they had EXACTLY what I am looking for and obviously I bought it, they were even able to honour an extra $500 for my millitary service as discount. he is by far the worst sales person I have ever dealt with. He went from making small talks to telling me to get lost if you are not buying this. He knew how he was but obviously I'm assuming management must be lax if he did that and expect to just walk away. I'm sorry I find it hard to recommend this dealership.
I had my vehicle in for an oil change and was informed it had an oil leak- that I thought was fixed in April. To have this repeated 6 months later is concerning. The problem has either recurred or was not fixed right in the first place. It is a leased vehicle that I have had for only 20 months with low mileage.

I was very impressed with the parts department and the repair shop. I took my car there for a repair on a Friday morning with no appointment and they made sure it was fixed before the end of the day on a long weekend too.
Went in to buy a used vehicle wouldn't budge more than 1000 was told they would lose money at list price don't expect to buy used vehicles from them unless its at listed price, terrible used vehicle sales mangers. Be careful, some of the used vehicles had bald tires that claimed passed safety
Went for $90 oil change,tire rotation,brake inspection and multiple points inspection.The tire rotation never happened and the brake inspection couldn't have happened because the locking wheel nut was in sealed with tape bag never used,plus under coat issue wasn't addressed.That was my last $90 oil change!

I have been very disappointed with my vehicle situation, I've been without my vehicle for two weeks now after it suffered a catastrophic failure. My warranty rented me a car for 5 days. I've made two payments since my vehicle went down both payments were made when I was unable to drive my vehicle. I've missed a weeks worth of wages as I work outside the city and am unable to get there. I purchased a new vehicle purposely to avoid the situation I'm currently in. This whole situation has left a very bad taste in my mouth with ford and how they back their vehicles. I'll be looking to trade my vehicle off and purchase from a different manufacturer.

Dealing with Vickar Ford was a disappointment ???? I recently purchased a 2021 F150 I received a call stating I was approved for a new truck I went in to pick up the F150 Truck that I tested drove 2 days prior Under go faith, I requested they have truck ready because I was in a rush that day While signing papers the salesman, stated he would go get truck and switch over plates He stated it filled up and ready to go So after signing papers I jumped Into the truck and took off While driving home, which was a hour away I noticed things seemed different and noticed this was nit the truck I test drove I went back a few days later to Vickar and discussed this matter and was told by assistant General manager they would call me back which never happen I had to call and email the general manager named Len Len stayed he would correct it It has been over a month and still never had things corrected So Buyer beware with this guy's!!
Henry was awesome, very thorough ahhnd helpful with his part of the vehicle purchase process We then met with trevor for the finance part and that's wherefeel Vickar dropped the ball. Trevor neglected to tell us about the warranty on our first visit, which left us with many questions. When meeting again to finalize the finance, We felt like we had to make a quick decision on warranty or not.. trevor also forgot to discuss undercoating options which I would have included in the finance..just feel like trevor did not value our business or time.. had to leave to go to the gym on both visits.
Service done on time and was offered a free service for first time.. The guy whom i talked to was really helpful and kind helping..

Soooo disappointed in Vickar Ford. Made an appointment to have my truck serviced: for the SECOND TIME IN TWO MONTHS for the same "Park Aid Fault" and this time a new light "Reverse Brake Assist Unavailable" while making my appointment, I informed them that I would need a vehicle. I live two hours north of Winnipeg, have health issues that I am dealing with on top of all this, get to the dealership, no rental vehicle available. No manager to discuss this with. ???? Should of bought a DODGE or CHEVY! Never ever buying a Ford again

Such terrible service! My fiance ordered a new car from them only to find out 12 weeks later that they ordered the wrong car. When they located a car in Regina, they told us that instead of having it expressed shipped here (the right thing to do), they wanted us to drive to Regina with a dealer car to trade off for our car. We ended up going with a different dealer in the city and are MUCH happier now. Terrible customer service and no attempts to really make amends. Wanted to warn those thinking of going here.
My sales lady did proper demo my new car. She didn't lift the hood and explain anything. I sold cars for 4 years. So I knew what to look at.
