I trusted my car into Capital Ford’s care through a phone call. Pot hole in city destroyed my car tire. A call into service centre, a conversation with Kurtis Fehr and my day continued with work which now I was behind time in. My car was towed to dealership. My tire fixed and my car in my driveway when I finally reached home. Went in this morning to pay bill, which was a pleasant surprise of less than $50! Wouldn’t hesitate ever to call upon Capital in a crisis again. They’re awesome!
Mark Elliott was fantastic to deal with. My wife was rear-ended a few weeks ago and MPIC wrote off our car. Mark made our car shopping super easy. We had money still owing on our loan and Mark was able to roll that into our new payments. Our final cost was just a few dollars more than what we were paying for on our used 08. We bought a new Escape and couldn't be happier. Also, Cathy in financing was a pleasure to work with. Not only did she listen to our budget concerns, she also made wise suggestions and gave us options. She even kept taking all our calls when we had questions. Cathy has the patience of a saint. I cannot recommend Capital Ford enough. Shop there for your next vehicle and you will be extremely happy and satisfied.

He is extremely knowledgable and directs me to his fellow co-workers Rej & Lonnie in the Service administration, whom are also very responsive and knowledgeble as well. I am notified of any and all repairs that are needed or recommended before, during and after my service. I am always extremely pleased with the service, staff presence, as well as the maintenence or body work that has been done on my vehicle. Car was brought in for excessive road noise, front bearing replacement done promptly under warranty, was advised cupped rear tires were part of the problem. Arranging for a four tire replacement at your shop as noise still quite pronouced, hope this will solve satisfactorily or it will be coming back to you . Cindy and Jeff both courteous and helpful.

I switched to Capital Ford for a year now and could not be happier! I was actually thrown off by how pleasant my conversation was with Caitlin when I booked my appointment. She anticipated my need and was extremely helpful. I did not feel at all pressured to take anything extra. I also would trust the foreman Chris to make sure that my vehicle is well cared for.
I recently traded in my 2014 Focus for a new 2016 Fusion (both from Capital Ford in Winnipeg) and I couldn't be more satisfied. The customer service is second to none. I will be making my future automobile choices through Capital Ford in Winnipeg.
Spent several weeks looking at various makes and models around Winnipeg from different dealers. Kept coming back to Capital Ford to deal with Kelly Warren. He was never pushy and provided many alternatives until we found the vehicle we were looking for that fit the budget. Pretty poor experience dealing with this place. Came in to look at a very over-priced used car. Attempted to negotiate the price. Resulted in 2 sales people working hard to sell a 4,300 vehicle for $7,300. Giving me every sad excuse in the book why I need to pay $3,000 above the $4,300 when my original offer was $6,500. More than generous for a 14 yr old car. They then brough in Hanbo Li, their Manager, who showed me all the money "they" spent on this vehicle. $50 for nitrogen! Give me a break. Padded costs on top of the $4,300 they gave the folks trading it in, brought them to around $6,700.... they were originally asking over $8,000 for a 2005 car! In any case, prior to this Manager showing me the $4,300 they already had me up to $7,000. Almost $3,000 more than they paid. That wasn't good enough, they wanted $7,300.... Telling me they need to pay their manager $50 and these other two sales guys. So, I need to spend $3,000 to pay all these clowns who are pressuring into a sale and padding costs? No thanks. Told him my original offer of $6,500 was actually not a bad one and actually still considerably above the $4,300 they paid. Hanbo Li stood up and walked away. Up until then, I was not rude, not having a problem with them, and he just up and walks away. This should give anyone pause to want to deal with this dealership. I recommend DON'T. I immediately walked away. Rather than him saying, "Sorry, we can't make a deal" and shaking my hand, this obnoxious jerk just walks away. Sad, really. As it results in a very negative review and negative experience. I won't return here again. Sorry they lose my business for good, as well as any word of mouth from me. Customer service is NOT of interest to this place, and this experience showed that.
If I could give zero stars I would. If you are a single women looking to buy a new vehicle, beware. I don't live in the city and have had email correspondence with sales associate, Cloudy Bo. I have been looking at vehicles for a few months now, doing research on them and talking to sale associates out east over the summer while I was visiting (as that's where I am from, and my father works as a mechanic and at a car dealership). I say this to let you know that I didn't go into this major transaction blind. Cloudy, and his unnamed manager, were trying to pass off the $1500 AWD discount offered to all customers from Ford Canada as their "major" discount for me. Tried to charge an extra $350+ dollars for mudflaps and a cargo mat that are being given for free at other dealerships (and listed as $275 on Manitoba's Ford accessory website installed) and even had the audacity to tell me that vehicles don't depreciate in value in the first year, and therefore shouldn't be discounted at the end of the 2021 calendar year. All of this on top of the fact that the SUV they were advertising isn't actually on their lot and they were going to get someone to drive that vehicle almost 600kms to Winnipeg and charge me extra to bring it over and putting 600kms on a new vehicle that I haven't even driven yet. But I was told not to worry, they would check it for damage and make sure they cleaned it for me at no extra cost. Cloudy refused to negotiate on price, except to continue adding more and more onto the price, wouldn't answer most of my questions, and was incredibly condescending in his emails to me, especially after I had already told him I planned to go elsewhere. Do not waste your time here. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a car dealership anywhere in Canada.
Been dealing with an MPI claim and they have been very good at getting things in order and taking care of what needs to be done. It's a busy place, but they still take to time to make sure your a happy and taken care of. Cheers to the staff in all departments.
Love the staff here! Just bought a new car from Mark Elliott and he is wonderful! So friendly, and charismatic. Even with us bringing our 1 year old with us and having to spend the better part of the day there, he brought out crayons and a colouring book and juice. Even called us a few days later to make sure everything was good for the first few days with the car. Service center was great and speedy. If youre ever looking for a vehicle, this is the place to go! Even sells things other than fords and Lincolns becausw we just bought a dodge charger. 10/10 would recommend!
We bought one Ford Scape 2013 in Mid Town Ford and for 4 years I was complaining because they didn't take care correctly of the issues that comes from factory. Noise in winter produced by the back struts when is minus 20 (never fixed ) The radio commands didn't work some times and the screen went blank also some times. They charged me for update and the problem persisted. I claimed that I was complaining from day one and they didn't has registered it in the computer . After, they want to change the screen and charge me $1300.- I told the manager that I read in forums that it is a common problem so he should respond with the guaranty. His answer was: all family and my friends have Ford and any one has problems. I sent an email complaining and never receive any answer. I followed the instructions from the forums , restarted the system and screen didn't bother for 6 months. I went To Capital Ford Lincoln and a very nice guy Cage gave me excellent attention. He offered me to leave the car and check with the computer and they will charge $100. First I come back and put new tires; it was an amazing experience as a customer; the tires didn’t come on time and I lost my day so the manager Todd gave me free oil change to compensate it. Later I come back for the test, they found that Ford had one extension warranty for this problem, thing that Mid Tow Ford didn't care . The foreman mechanic Christopher, drove whit me for half an hour, trying to find the intermittent issue with out luck . They fixed and the problem persisted two days later, screen totally blank, but this time, Chris saw it and took care of it. The manager that also gave me an amazing attention ordered a new screen and all under warranty . I am waiting for the part to come. This company is amazing and I recommend to any Winnipeg Ford user.
Disappointed. I requested the service manager contact me to discuss a warranty related matter. No courtesy call back just a call from the service writer indicating the issue would not be covered under warranty. No desire on Capitals part to build a long term relationship will a long time Ford owner. Sad in this day of every changing loyalty to a brand that when a customer is committed to one that a young company like Capital Ford chooses to not work to keep that customer. This experience has me questioning how long to keep this my third Ford product. Very disappointed.
I came into the dealership yesterday afternoon to book a service appointment to have my car looked at. I told the service writer there has been a message on the dashboard for a few weeks telling me to 'Check the fuel filter inlet' and recently a check engine light came on. The service writer was able to get me in for this morning. When I showed up this morning I was told there was a $149 (plus tax) charge to just diagnose my car. Honestly, I was a quite shocked at the price. This is a standard fee, why wait until I show up to have the diagnostics done to tell me? At this point, I have already taken time off work to have this completed today, I tell the service writer to hook it up to the computer. The service writer came back about 15 minutes later with letting me know the vapor management valve needed to be replaced. I was still a little pissed about the diagnostic fee so I asked for a quote to be printed up. Once I left the dealership I then noticed I was also charged a fee for shop supplies?!?! What would have been used on my car for supplies? What happened to $149 plus tax? I feel the fact that I was not told the diagnostic fee upfront is shady. I see the shop labor rates listed on the wall, why not the diagnostic fee? What about the shop supplies?! These standard fees are not even listed on your website?! I suggest someone does something to fix this.
Three issues. #1. Bought a vehicle a year and a half ago from them and it's been in the shop 7-8 times since. Its a 2015 too. Service department: #2. I brought my vehicle in because my engine light came on. They "fixed it" and a week later I bought it back for the same issue. They "fixed" it again, and within a few hours of having my vehicle back the same issue came back. It's taken them three tries to fix the same problem? This is one of many cases. #3.The same trend happened last year. Brought my vehicle back three times because it kept stalling.
The service I received was excellent! I was greeted at the door by a smiling face. I walked over to Polo Park and browsed for about an hour and my car was done! The price was great and I'm very happy with the work that was done. What a great service department. Thanks Murray!
Just picked up a pre-owned 2013 Mazda3. Had a great experience with Roger and the rest of the staff I interacted with. They seem to have a friendly, no-nonsense attitude, which I greatly appreciated after a few less than stellar experiences at other dealerships. No trickery here. Everything is laid out very clearly and I never felt pressured. I highly recommend this dealership.

I had mentioned to Mark Elliott that I was starting to look for a replacement for my 2006 Escape (it was time!). I wasn't in a hurry, and asked him to let me know if he found something 'unique', as I don't like driving vehicles that everyone else has. It wasn't long before he sent us a photo of "Pearl", and the rest is history. The real kicker; he drove it to Fort Frances for me a day later! Mark Li made the financing painless. Now I'm telling everyone about The Marks at Capital. :)

Well I have time to write a review.. I don't recommend taking your vehicle to Capital Ford... DON'T DO IT!!! they couldn't even fix the problem we had with our vehicle... We took it to Birchwood Ford they found what was wrong with it right away... Wasted over 1000 on Capital Ford... So people if you don't want to waste thousands on parts that you doesn't need fixing or wrongful diagnoses go to Birchwood Ford on Regent Avenue.
I purchased my car here in October and Braiden was really helpful and knowledgeable! But the collision department of this place isn't really that helpful. I told them about the issues I have with the car but they didn't fix those issues. So i brought my car to another place which they fixed right away. I don't know how they approved my car that it was fine. It literally had a broken engine mount and cracked brackets.
Service department staff were friendly. Got my car in quickly and fixed up perfectly. The only thing is that my vehicle went in for a simple bearing job (2.5 hour job max) at 930am and recieved a phone call at the end of the day saying that the "technician got busy with something else" and that my vehicle would be ready a few days later and that I could either come pick up my vehicle or they would pay for a rental. Since it was a bearing issue with my car theres no way I was going to go get my vehicle as it's not exactly a safe thing to do..Picked up the loaner car at Enterprise, they still wanted my credit card and to charge me 50 dollars (I refused but got the vehicle anyhow) Vehicle was ready to go a day earlier than what they had told me which was awesome. Paid for my repair with cash and recieved a "wow..nobody pays for their vehicle repair with CASH" comment. I responded with, "well it's 250 less than what I was told the final repair would be and I have some Christmas cash but of debit or credit is easier for you I can do that if it's going to be an issue" and again recieved, "But CASH payment" and a laugh...I guess cash isnt ok anymore? Overall a good experience, close to our house, very clean. Would recommend..but dont try and pay for your small repair with CASH unless you want a comment about it
Matt is the guy who you should meet if you visit this location to purchase a vehicle. He is professional yet friendly, does not apply pressure instead provide you the information to make a decision. I had a really good no pressure experience at this location.
Capital Ford Lincoln has a pleasant atmosphere that is inviting and free from the pressure usually associated with car dealerships. Service is fast (I have never had to wait in line) and the indoor drive-through is great in the winter or in the rain. I actually look forward to going there for service. It's also great to be right next door to Polo Park so I can get my shopping done while my car is being repaired.
Great experience and great sales staff. I went in knowing I wanted to buy new and I knew what car I wanted. What I wasn't expecting were all the different options. My sales person was great at showing me my options and didn't push any specific model. I felt comfortable from beginning to end. Made my first car buying experience very enjoyable.
Worst ever experience.. biggest lier. I paid for deposit for a car and they sold it to someone else after receiving my money just to get few hundred dollars more... Sales agent was good but all top management is worst and non-cooperative. Giving excuses and not talking face to face. Not recommended to buy anything from unfair/unethical people.

Scheduled my work vehicle in for a service recall on the powertrain control module. Then on the day I brought the vehicle in they took my vehicle and kept it for half the day only inform me that they didn't have the update at this time for it and hadn't done anything to it. Then why schedule me in and make me drive back and worth only to have to do it all over again once the update comes in?? Not pleased this could have all been avoided if I was just told the update was not available by phone and I would have held on the service til it was. Not impressed

My wife and I purchased a previously owned Lincoln with an extended warranty. We ran into issues with the brakes and suspension, causing an alignment issue and eventually uneven tread wear on our tires. We came to have the issues corrected multiple times, the first of which was weeks after we bought it, and more than 1.5 years later - not resolved. Aside from uneven tread wear, we also required a bearing replacement; the dealership told us they were unable to pinpoint this as an issue until we purchased a new set of tires. Which anyone who has even a small amount of mechanical knowledge is able to easily diagnose. We have given up on this dealership and we take our vehicle elsewhere now. We will not be continuing our relationship with this dealership any further.
I brought my truck in for a transmission repair that was going to cost me more than the vehicle was worth. I asked to see a salesman and had the pleasure of working with a kind and receptive no pressure salesman (Murray Elke) who treated me with respect and regard. As a female shopping on my own I really appreciated the time he took. Likewise as I was waiting I had the benefit of getting additional quality information from One of their coordinators. This was a meaningful experience and I have come away with a vehicle I love at a great and fair price.

I can't say enough out the people who work there! I have purchased many cars over the years and my level of trust when is comes to car dealers isn't very high. I have to admit I walked in with my backbone up, fully expecting them to take advantage of me. I did all of my homework before I got there. To my surprise, I wasted my time! They were 100% honest! They made me feel at home, and helped me to relax! They found me the perfect vehicle and wanted to make sure I was happy with it. Darin Rudd took his time to teach me how to use the many features I had never used before, Warren spent a lot of time working numbers so I would get the best deal on my trade. Michele Senow in financing was phenomenal! Even the General Manager came out to chit chat with me! At any other dealership I had been to I waited patiently bored out of my mind while they did their thing. Earlier this month we stopped into Capital Ford to get an estimate on what my 2009 Edge would go for. Not intending to actually buy a car that day, I test drove a 2020 Ford Fusion Hybrid titanium and instantly fell in love. The service from Zach Burland and the entire team was outstanding! I never felt pressured, everyone was very friendly and helpful. I found everything I wanted and more from my beautiful blue Fusion Hybrid, price included. Very happy with the support and service from Zach and everyone involved with my experience there, I definitely recommend giving this place your trust. While looking for a new vehicle we meet with associate, Nick Ducharme. Nick was absolutely fantastic! He went above and beyond to find us the vehicle that we wanted. We had hoped to purchase with Capital Ford but sadly with high demand for trucks right now Capital was unable to find us our dream truck. Regardless of this outcome we would highly recommend the team at Capital Ford. The service was wonderful and we will definitely shop there in the future.
Not a great experience when I was there with a friend. He was looking at trading a truck in because this dealer said they wanted to buy his truck. While on the phone he said, "Don't waste my time with an offer for $24,000, I want a min of $28,000." Well after sitting there for 2 hours and test driving a vehicle, they wasted our time by offering $24,000. After telling them I want the keys and insurance back, the tune changed. I then told the salesman I was interested in trading my truck for a Ford truck. Everything went well but not when it came time to the value of the trucks, they offered me around $20k less than I owed on it. To also add, the truck they offered me was $74k online but Capital was trying to sell it to me for $93k. At the end of the day, 4 days were wasted at this dealership. I hope from reading this, you will shop around a little before you decided to go to this dealership. Staff was friendly, but you have to be in that industry
I have now purchased one car from Capital Ford and I have taken one in for service and warranty work. I can say for the first time in my life that I am impressed with the service and sales at an auto dealership. My salesperson Roger was great to deal with and went above and beyond to correct a communication error between us. When I took my car in for service the entire process was efficient, they did the work, they gave me advice and no one tried to up sell me on anything, that was a first! The last thing that amazed me was that all of the people I rode with in the shuttle to work and back love Capital Ford! They even take all of their cars to them for service not just their Fords, which again is a first. I would highly recommend them for sales and service!

Go See Mark at Capital Ford! After visiting another dealership in Winnipeg, I took the advise of a friend to go see Mark Elliott at Capital Ford. Best decision I made. He had the truck I wanted to see waiting for me out from of the store. He explained the truck and features in great deal without feeling like I was being sold to. Makes you feel like your friends within minutes of meeting him. The sales experience was also very good. He took the time to introduce us the service and parts teams. When we picked up the truck, he also took the time to explain how to use all the technology and the went through more details of the truck. I recommend going to see Mark at Capital Ford if you in the market for a new vehicle, you wont regret it!

Terrible experience. My mother buys a new truck every couple years and this place has been her worst experience. Unprofessional staff who take advantage of buyers. They took advantage and nickle and dimed her. Now they won't even return her calls after buying a brand new 2021 Ranger Lariat. She had an inexperienced salesman, Ramone, who at one point they tried calling her up to sell her a tonneau cover without even knowing the price, assuming she'd just go along with it, yet neglected to tell her there's no command start included with the vehicle. Then they delayed her delivery of her truck, and she had to request it be cleaned, and Ramone had to ask Justin for approval on a 6$ car wash for my mom's brand new truck. Then they made her take multiple pictures next to the truck on the reserve to prove she's from there.... Never has she had to prove where she lived to some dealership. She's had multiple trucks delivered and never had to pose for pictures on the reserve next to the truck for the dealership to believe her, unbelievable. The manager Justin, and the General Manager Mitch refuse to return her calls.

The car's problem is not resolved - the Fiesta has 2 major ongoing issues requiring multiple trips for service without repair. Very disapointed in this vehicle and will not buy another Ford. 0 stars for the Fiesta
I recently bought Ford Escape 2015.I went to buy 2012 model but when I noticed the difference between old and newer model I went for newer one.Employers were very helpful specially Tony Day who helped to find out a right viechle. He has a wide knowledge of automobiles he also explained me the benefits of buying higher model by showing me new feature of the car very expressively. Shane financial manager also helped to approve the loan and to set up the afforable payments for me . Overall I had great experience and I am enjoying my New 2015 Ford Escape

WORST experience ever, til this day still waiting to hear a price for my trade in value. Was dealing with Mark Elliot, guy is the worst sales person ever, makes you feel that you have to impress him so he will deal with you. They now have sold the truck i was wanting because they took so long to get back to me. Any other dealership has given me a trade in value within hours or sooner. I still dont know the value from these guys! Stay away, way better dealerships out there that are there to make sure you're happy
I've been a customer of Capital for since 2011 having bought 2 vehicles from them. I dealt with Ted AFANASIEV in sales. To this day I still contact him and he's always ready and willing to help and assist me when I need it. Reg in the service department along with Lonnie are amazing to deal with! Reg is very knowledgeable when it comes to issues that arise with my Lincoln. He's always very friendly and willing to look for a solution to fix what is wrong and help troubleshoot the problem!

TOTALLY LOVED our experience - we are just regular folk and were treated royally. Follow up service was great, great coffee, in and out in no time. Sales staff and management were fantastic! As seniors things were explained in detail and we first drove away in a nice little ESCAPE. Vehicle is still in great running order...kudos and keep up the great work. Had contact from their head office too! would definitely buy again. Had no issues with service department. I think its all in the attitude, approach and being reasonable with expectations. Sent our 2011 Mustang there to be repaired. They said it was the alternator that needed to be replaced. It took a while for us to get the car back. At first they said the wrong part arrived so they have to reorder. When it was finally ready and after paying more than $600, my husband took it for a drive and and a charging system error was flashing on the screen. We told them the issue and they said they were going to send someone to pick up the car. My husband doesn’t want to drive it incase something goes wrong. We waited and waited. The pick up got rescheduled 3x and still no one came. We phoned again and again and they just gave us the run around. We phoned another dealership on Main St and they “think” when Capital Ford was diagnosing the problem they boosted the car and burnt out the pcm unit. And now we have to pay more than a $1000 to get it fixed. But of course, it’s my husband’s word against theirs! This is just total BS.

Just a heads up for everyone- This dealership told my mother she needed new tie rods on her vehicle while taking it in for routine maintenance. To get a second opinion, we took it to our very reputable mechanic . He told us there was absolutely nothing wrong with her tie rods. This could have been a mistake from an amateur mechanic, but just in case, always get a second opinion when using the service department at this dealership.

Got both of my cars in Canada from them. The sales team- Sabbir Rahman and Mark, are truly amazing people. Always gave me the exact information about everything I asked and tried to give me the best deal possible. Cynthia (Cindy) was very helpful with my repair needs. Even though my repair was a minor one, the group at Capital treated me like a valued customer. I needed a shuttle to get to work and back and on one day I was there, Service went out of their way to help me get to work on time. When they found a vehicle, Jordan drove me. BTW Jordan is also a Service greeter and a great person to work with on getting your repairs done. Dan Ingalls (previously at Capital Ford) called me in as soon as the car I was looking for, in a colour he knew I'd love, rolled onto the lot. Drove it home the same day, with financing terms my life style could handle. This was, by far, a miracle as far as I'm concerned. Though Dan is no longer with the company, because a large part of the Capital Ford staff treat each other like family, they all know me by first name, and if I ever have any concerns, anyone there can give me a hand, including Mark Elliott, who has helped me with more than a few post-sale questions and concerns. Highly recommended for anyone concerned with the vehicle's service lifetime in addition to the vehicle itself.
Took my car in for a MPI claim and a recall. The collision centre has excellent service, went above & beyond. Extremely polite & professional. Randy was extremely helpful & even fixed a part that wasn’t part of the claim. The service centre had the collision centre tell me that they did not have the parts or the time to do the recall, even though I called over a month to ask about the recall and say I was bringing it in for one to make sure they’d have the parts in and having made an appointment the over a week before to have the recall done while my car was in for the claim as I did not want to have to bring it in again. Very unprofessional and frustrating.

Although the staff is all very nice, (reason for the 3 star). I found that the car I bought was a lemon. weeks after driving a 3 year old car off the lot, and opting out of the extended warranty I had to do over 3000.00 in work to get it running. Battery died in first week. PTU was leaking, and power steering hose blew out. I was kindly told "well you shoulda bought the warranty". I actually think it would make more sense to do a further evaluation on the cars before reselling them. I get that sometimes issues come up, but this whole ordeal left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. I won't be shopping here again

A five thumbs up to the fabulous coffee/hot drinks machine in the waiting area - the best capuccino I've had anywhere - which made the wait that much more pleasant and enjoyable. Great service. I am from out of town and happened to be in Winnipeg two days before my appointment for a rather large repair. I left my truck and got a call that it was ready even before the day it was to go in in the first place. When I got the invoice it was quite a bit less than the quote they gave me. Don't see that to often. I just bought a 2016 F150 there and a 2014 Edge. Also my sister purchased a 2017 Escape from Capital on my recommendation. You will not find a better buying experience .
Overall a great experience and the sales team did a excellent job in ensuring I got the vehicle I wanted for the right price. I am enjoying my new vehicle. Only negative experience was that I ordered rubber floor mats for my vehicle and when I went to pick them up, they were the wrong ones (cloth mats). A little bit disappointed in that, otherwise a good experience overall.
Just bought my Ford Ecosport, not only did the dealership come pick me up from my home to bring me to the dealership about 3 employees all stayed till 7pm on a Saturday! to help me finish the sale. Walked into Capital Ford Lincoln just to check out the Lincoln MKC. I was greeted by Jeff Gemmell who was very friendly and accommodating. We spoke for a bit then exchanged business cards because I had to leave. A couple of days later Jeff sent me an email to follow up on our earlier conversion, I responded by dropping in, we spoke some more, and a test drive was arranged for the following day. The next day bought the car! Jeff made the whole process a great experience. Also wanted to mention Jacqueline Broesky from financing, was great to work with as well. Just wanted to say thanks to Jeff, Jaqueline and staff for making this one of my best car buying experience to date.

Made an appointment to have warranty work done but went 12km over my 60k warranty limit driving it to the shop for the work they said they would no longer cover because of the 12km over. Capital has gone down the tubes in regards to customer service. I will never bring my car here again or buy another car from them. I'll be telling EVERY SINGLE PERSON I KNOW TO AVIOD CAPITAL AT ALL COST.

Purchased a gently used 2017 Fusion (my very first new*er* car purchase) from this dealer. Sales person was extremely helpful and not at all pushy answered all questions and allowed the car to sell it self. When it came down to talking turky management dealt with me directly and trimmed off a few hundred MORE than i was going to ask for and ontop of that dropped their dealer fee 30% and gave a SMOKING deal on a new set of brand name winter tires on steel rims with all the necessary sensors. Right down to allowing my wife to use a dealer plate for a day so we could take our new car home right away free of charge. This dealership is clearly staffed with people who themselves enjoy the car buying experience and strive to pass the satisfaction on to each person who walks through their doors...... Would absolutely recommend them to friends and family.
Just bought my first vehicle last Saturday here. I found this Ford Escape online and came for a test drive. Received very professional and patient service from Ricky Zhang. Shuttle drivers were great, but when I picked up my car there was a comment to " recharge battery" .. . Wasn't sure what that meant exactly, if my new battery was draining don't you think I would like to know why it was draining? Not just get instructions to charge it? Or could they not have charged it for me?
When I brought my f150 into capital ford I didn't know what to expect as I have never been there before. After a few minutes talking with the service department, I was very impressed with the courtesy and professional manner in which they explained any questions or concerns I had. The service to my truck was done in a timely fashion and I will definitely call back again.

My vehicle have electric problem, I called the roadside assistant to tow my vehicle, they towed to this dealership. The service staff said I will be charged 149+tax just for the diagnose, they only recharge the battery and didn't do anything else. And they didn’t find any issue for the battery. After I complained,they waived that charge for me. I appreciate for that.

Picked up truck and upon starting it made a strange whining sound that was not present when I dropped it off; took it back in and the mechanic inspected it personally and diagnosed the problem. Took it back into the shop right away and they fixed the problem at no additional charge. Kudos to Cynthia and my mechanic (Dan?) for correcting the situation right away.
I recently leased a 2016 Focus form Capital Ford, first of all I love the car and second of all my experience at Capital Ford was awesome. The sales person Mark was outstanding. There was no high pressure from him, he answered all my questions and even let me take the car home to show my husband before I signed the papers. I got to take my car home the same day and Mark arranged a follow up appointment a couple of days later to go through any questions I might have after I had driven the car for a few days. Bought an Escspe in 2013 with extended warranty. My warranty expires in a little over a week and I towed it in as the was over heating....coolant leaking....passenger side seatbelt not working and driver side mirror defrost doesnt work. The vehicle was in the shop for 5 days..... except for the seatbelt repaired the say nothing is wrong with the car and charged us $140 for labour as there was nothing to repair even though it is under warranty. The shop manager is an ass ...... would not call me back for days. When my wife came to the shop he also said that he would credit the charges against the bill if we bring the car in past warranty expiry. Good story for CBC. THIS PLACE IS NOT RECOMMENDED!
Matt Winchar was an absolute treat to deal with. I’ve been in some high pressure sales situations previously, and this was not one of them. He answered all of my questions and took the time to explain everything in detail. Would recommend speaking to him about your purchase.
Park assist shows as auto park on the control panel. This feature was not properly demonstrated to me. Auto is short for autonomous; suggesting it operates on its own. Not so, as I discovered when my brand new car crashed into the car behind it. I expected it to apply the brake once parked. This did not happen. There were screen instructions, which indicated to back-up slowly. Nothing about applying the brake when in place. When I complained to the sales department, they sent me to the body shop and said $600 plus tax. Have a nice day. Should I have known better? The car does come equiped with back-up sensors, which beep with increasing frequency until they produce a solid tone indicating close proximity. Other models are equiped with such collision avoidance mechanisms that automaticaly apply the brakes. Put 2 and 2 together you usually get 4. In my case minus $600. A final thought in defence of my folly. Have you been listening to the radio ads that Ford has been putting out lately? "When you pay the gate at the amusement park, you shouldn't be asked to pay extra for the rides" (something like that). "At Ford, we include the things you should expect in the price." Not today Kim. Caveat Emptor.

Best experience ever always a great job even though a minor hiccup on the tire sensor was on the resetting was fixed expertly. I have always recommended to friends to go to Capital as it is a great place to buy a vechial. My favourite is Ford and Lincoln and would like to become a sales rep Especially at Capital as they have wonderful people and always take care of anyone who needs help.
Just recently my wife took our car to get our tires changed over to the summer ones. She was there for 2 hours before they informed her they didn't have our tires yet. After 5 hours of waiting tires still had not shown up. Tried to contact the General manager about this and after 3 transfers and a message I got a call back stating he was not in and that the staff were unaware he was off. The General manager called back after the weekend and promised to look into the issue and call me back the next day. Well 4 days later still no call back. Doesn't seem to be a very reliable place to deal with the staff after the purchase. I gave 5 stars for the purchase but have now changed it to 3 stars. Whole experience took less than 3 Hours. Found the car we were interested on line and clicked the box for a VIP test ride. After selecting date, time and salesperson, Matt called to confirm the location. He arrived with the car at the booked time. We took it for a ride after Matt went over the car's features. During the ride Matt answered our questions and any that he didn't have answers for he quickly looked up. Matt was honest to say if he didn't have the answer. Matt was never pushy even after the test ride when we said we would probably see him the next morning. Later in the evening I decided to go and discuss numbers, in less than 2 hours I had the car for the price I wanted to pay as well as all of the paperwork done. I walked out happy and with ownership of the new car. Mark and Peter were great to deal with and never did I feel pressured or uncomfortable. This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. Hats off to Capital and its salespeople. Thanks for everything.

I had a very good experience here, my car had an issue that it wont start and the autoshop that i brought my car to be fixed says that i need to bring it to a dealer of ford. And i was so afraid to go to any ford dealer since we know that it charges more and i went to main st ford before and wasnt a good experience there. But have no choice so i tried this branch in empress and wow luckily theyre very accomodating and they fixed my car they changed the transmission ctrl module and i didnt pay anything, they said that i am still covered with the extended service warranty plan, that i didnt know about thanks to them for checking. Now my trust with a dealer company was back, there are still good people in here. Im really happy and definitely will recommend this ford branch! Thank you caithlyn and the service advisor gayje(sorry my spelling) and also the shuttle driver just forgot the name . They’re awesome people! Job well done! I love this branch! Buying my truck there was a good experience. However the service department was really bad. Had a slow leak in one of my tires. Went in to get It fixed, they found nothing. In the next couple of days the tire pressure went down again. This time they fixed the leak. I also went ahead and had new winter tires and rims installed. The tires were not balanced properly so literally minutes after driving I had to drive back and get the tires fixed. The driver side tires were 32 psi and the passenger tires were 40psi?? And then to top it off I get home and wanted to put my other tires away. They didn't even bag the old tires. They just threw them in my truck so lifting them out I then needed to bag the tires myself. Not pleased with the mechanics/lube technicians.
Quality of work is always good (I hope!). Staff member I was dealing with professional and curteous. I wasn’t allowed to use the coupon I’ve had as it was not acceptable anymore even if it says on that it is valid for 2 more months and I was offered 15$ discount Instead of 20$ that coupon said. First invoice when I came to pickup my vehicle said that my car was washed while it wasn’t. Discount wasn’t even applied so my invoice had to be redone. A bit of a mess.
Recently purchased a new Fusion Sport. I had booked a test drive one Saturday, while waiting for a friend's wedding (yeah, seriously!), for the following Monday at 7pm. The test drive went so well we discussed numbers, and they definitely made it work for me, as we signed the paperwork and I drove the car home that night, albeit at 10pm. They have been helpful since and continue to contact me to ensure I am enjoying the car and that nothing has gone wrong. Would definitely recommend this dealership to friends and family.
Never before have I been treated so poorly by someone in customer service. From the Service advisor right up to the General Manager Les Friesen. Complete lack on interest in my concern and did not hesitate to ridicule me and abruptly end the call. All of this for a $38 dollar part that I thought the 3 years remaining on my factory warranty or that my Ford Platinum Extended warranty would cover. Well done guys, you would have made that on my next warranty claim or service I am sure, but at the end of today you are $38 dollars ahead!
I purchased new truck tires there recently and one tire was damaged but they refused to change it, coming up with a bunch of lame reasons to blame me. Its unfortunate as we were looking to purchase a new Bronco from them. We started dealing with Ford on Regent instead
The team at Capital and I worked out a great deal for a used F150. I went there because I take my 2015 Edge there for servicing and their service department is very good. Jay was my salesperson and he was great. After letting me take the vehicle home overnight I came back on Saturday to try to make a deal on a great vehicle. Jay and his Manager were very accommodating and respectful. I really enjoyed the negotiation and felt that we dealt honestly and forthrightly. After that I worked with Trevor to complete the paperwork and he was great as well. Many compliments to the people there, from sales through to service. I am looking forward to a continued good relationship.
By far the best dealer around !!! Our sales man Josh was super helpful, nice and was not in any pushy and didn't use old school sales type tactics rather just helped us find the right car based on what our needs were. Also they have free comedy provided by a sales associate Mark. Lovely fellow! Then we were introduced to the financial manager Mike who worked really hard to get us the type of loan and a great rate all pretty fast. And last but certainly not least the fact that they installed my car seat for me , and the delivery specialist Roxanne came to my house to show me how everything works and made the whole experience pleasant! They were all super friendly and it didn't seem to matter if I was wearing an expensive dress or sweats and a pony I got the same treatment and respect as a customer. Well done Capital Ford

We have been dealing with Nichol for routine service since we purchased our new vehicles. Her knowledge and work ethics are had to come by now days. If there is something she does not know, she takes the effort to find out. She will not hesitate to go the extra mile for you. I gave some pretty short notice to change to summer tires and she said NO PROBLEM. We will make it happen. And they did. Been bringing my cars here for several years now to get serviced and have always felt that I was treated fairly. That all changed today. Brought in my 2011 Fusion because of a howling type of noise that can be heard in the passenger compartment when vehicle is in motion that gets louder as you accelerate when travelling in forward or reverse. Received a call saying that it was an axle bearing on the front and one on the back, but that the one on the front was the loudest. told them to do the front for 527.00 after asking how sure they were that that was indeed what was causing the noise and being told that they were very sure. Since the rear bearing was supposedly not the cause of the noise we were hearing and would cost 1023.00 to fix, I figured we would do that down the road. Was also told that the tie rod ends needed replacing and that the lower ball joint was no good, another 727.00. Being a trusting soul, I gave approval for this repair also. Picked up the car and drove 20 feet and knew that the noise that I took the car in for had absolutely not changed at all. Sounded exactly the same as it did before. brought it to the service advisors' attention and was told that maybe it was the rear bearing that was making the noise, they could fix that for 1023.00. When I asked how sure I could be that this would fix the noise since they had told me that it was the front that was what I was hearing, he said that since it was still making noise it had to be the back. I really don't have the money for supposedly dealer qualified mechanics to play a process of elimination when repairing my vehicle. Also on the way home from the dealership we starting hearing loud thumping from the front passenger side of the vehicle that was NOT there before they did the work on the car. So all told I spent 1903.00 on a problem that was not fixed, and as a bonus I now have a problem that was not there when I took the car in!! VERY disappointed in Capital Ford and if this thumping issue is not taken care of when I go back tomorrow I guess we will be taking our 2 Fusions somewhere else for service from now on. Again ,very disappointed!
Wow buying a vehicle at Capital Ford Winnipeg was an easy and enjoyable experience! We first saw the vehicle on-line and thanks to the great description and many (many!) photos we decided an "in-person" visit was needed. Walked in and met Tony Day, as well as Jeff "Missouri" McDonnal. Tony is a terrific person to deal with...knowledgeable and friendly. Took the time to answer all our questions and we enjoyed meeting / dealing with him very much. It was very apparent that Tony wanted to a fully happy customer. Shane in the financial office was also a great person to help get all the paperwork done. His style, like Tony, is also more of a consultant, taking the time to make sure he understood and fulfilled on his promises. Both Tony and Shane went out of their way to make sure the sale was smooth and (dare I say?) fun! Jeff was always nearby with a friendly word and to make sure all was going perfectly. I had my 2015 f150 in at the collision centre for front end damage, I came in with my wife and spoke with Harit who had claimed he was he manager, he was quite disrespectful and made my wife feel uncomfortable, I asked to speak with somebody else and I was politely directed by Lonnie to Randy Girden who in fact was the Collision Manager. Randy was very knowledgeable and very respectful and scheduled my vehicle in as soon as possible, my experience throughout the repair time was fantastic Randy kept in touch with myself and my wife to keep us updated as we did need our vehicle back sooner than later. The day of pickup I informed Randy I had to work later and could not get there in time for 5:30, Randy in fact stayed until 6:30 to ensure I could pickup my vehicle that day, my truck has clean inside and out and the repair was completed flawlessly. My experience has in fact been incredible I have had some bad experiences in the past and capital collision is Definetely a place I would come back to and recommend family and friends to and a big thank you to Randy Girden for the outstanding customer service.
Great people to deal with. I had a strict budget and Mark was great at asking me what my needs were and what kind of vehicle I was looking for. Mark was able to get me in a Ford Fiesta! It was a great experience, nice to work with people who are more concerned about selling you the vehicle that fits you and your life style.
Purchased a car from there on boxing day had a borderline poor expierence will fully admit they met all my asks for the deal of the car and got exactly what I wanted for my trade in value everything before and after that was sketchy. Wouldn't go back.

Went in for transmission software update. Was told it would 144 dollars and would be called if any other work was needed. Later that say got the call my bill was $400, despite not being called as promised. Paid the bill and got my truck. Found some of my personal effects thrown on the passenger side floor. It must have been in the techs way. Will never have my vehicles worked on at Capital again. Very disappointing.
Avoid the body shop at all costs. Took our car there for minor bodywork. Upon pickup we realized that they had disabled the air conditioning, and it was 35 that day. We brought it to the manager and told him this was unacceptable, he said that we would have to book an appointment for them to look at it another day(at our expense). Manager was very confrontational, so we left. They phoned us minutes later and apologized. We went back and they got the AC working again and took credit for forgetting a battery lead that they disconnected. The manager called a few days later to apologize. He offered a $200 keg gift card for being unreasonable with us. 3 months later, still no gift card. Typical dealership, great people in sales, not so much after that. Follow up, within a couple days of leaving the above review, Gary Bernard came to my rural home and dropped off the gift cards himself. If this company had a few more Gary's and few less of the jokes that I dealt with, they would be first class. The guy that originally caused this mess had only left an apology on my voicemail, he did try and just leave an apology with my wife to pass on the first time, but my wife insisted he call my cell and apologize to me.
I always try to make the situation right before leaving reviews on the internet as I understand mistakes can happen, but after calling the service manager and leaving countless messages and not one call back, after calling the general manager of the store and leaving messages again no call back, and never a call back from the service department after I brought up my concern I feel the customer service here is by far the worst I have ever had, but I must add when they wanted me to purchase our car through them they would call back or call to touch base very promptly. I purchased a 2017 Lincoln continental through them and the whole purchase went well and we found Murray great to deal with! However after our purchase we noticed the car had some dents and the paint needed a cut and a polish, understanding we bought a used car we took it upon ourselves to get the dents removed and the car polished and never expected capital to compensate us as we made a deal on the car in this condition, about 2 weeks later the car had a few issues to deal with that would be a warranty issue (again we understand these things happen not capitals fault) so we dropped the car off for the repairs, and picked our car up upon completion too find that (although it was a nice gesture) whoever washed our car used a dirty brush and put scratches over the entire car we just had cut and polished. I’ve tried to deal with this for almost 3 weeks, I’ve emailed pictures left countless messages and no response from anyone except my sales person Murray (who is great) all is I want from capital is to call me back and let’s get this issue resolved.. I also feel being a hour and 30 min away is shouldn’t be my responsibility to bring the car back to capital to have the issue resolved as this simply shouldn’t have happened. I’m sorry to leave a bad review, but I simply don’t want anyone to have to deal with this.
I went here for an oil change where and I brought 4 X 4L containers of synthetic oil and a filter. I went to pick it up after it was finished and askerd where the remaining oil was because my truck only takes 13 L of oil. The technician say he put all of the oil in and that it normal practice. I asked if he check the oil and he stated it was was checked and it was fine. I then went out and checked my oil and it was about an inch above the full mark. I then got the tech to check the oil and after he cleaned the oil dipstick he did say yes there was too much oil. He then had to take my truck back, drop the oil filter and empty the excess oil. Their weak apology was no charge for the oil change. They still used/wasted 3 L of my synthetic oil and never reimbursed me for it. I never did get a call from the manager and doubt I will be bringing it back do this store because of the poor service.

The body shop team did a great job, the color matching was superb. There was a delay to get in a part, but they informed me of the delay. After I picked up my vehicle, I did find that the windshield washer lines were switched around. I stopped in to let them know of the error and they had the tech out in the parking lot within minutes, had the problem fixed and I was on my way within 15 minutes.
I initially came in for an oil change on a company vehicle and was impressed by how nice their staff was. I spoke with Chad and Sunny in sales and they were able to get me into the exact vehicle I wanted at a great discounted price. They worked with Peter in finance to get the best rate for me and also got me a fair value on my trade. It was an excellent buying experience.

During the test drive Asim politely explained the many features of the vehicle with a special emphasis on the safety features developed by ford. At the conclusion of the test drive Asim introduced me to Jeremy Gaetz. Jeremy worked with me for several days on closing a deal. During this time Jeremy worked extremely hard and was attentive and responsive to my comments, questions and concerns. I felt like Jeremy genuinely wanted to earn my business and respect and at no time did I feel pressured. When we finally agreed on the price I was introduced to Eduel Agapito. Very unprofessional and unorganized. I inquired about a used vehicle a week ago. I made an offer and it was refused with no counter offer. Got a message today to call the manager P.K, when I call after work he said he never called me and left his number. That maybe someone else did. I asked if they'd changed their mind or had another offer for me. He said no, not really. Then when I started talking to him, he hung up on me. I'd give them 0 stars if I could. Will be looking elsewhere for a vehicle.

In Jan of this year i took in my car for a new right side cv axle assembly but then got a phone call saying my rear shocks were leaking so i paid to get them replaced thinking they are going to replace the shock mounts and boots too. I was sadly disapointed when I took my car in to another mechanic shop and they told me my rear shock mounts are bad and my front struts are leaking not to mention they didn't replace the rear shock boots and stoppers either. Oh and my body sway bar bushing are also going bad too. Spent over $1200.00 and now those shocks are starting to go bad and it hasnt been 2000km yet. Im very upset that they didnt replace the mounts and boots. How could you guys miss leaking struts? Anyways, im very pleased with the cv axle assembly and no more grinding noise in the front and thats why I give 3 stars but you guys lose 2 for not replacing the rear mounts, boots and missing all the work that I have to pay to get done somewhere else. Shame, everyone was super nice too.
If your problem comes with a code, the technician can solve the problem. If your problem requires understanding or logic, likely better to look for a dealership with a brighter service department. My battery has not been able to get to a high enough charge for several features to work properly. Since the battery still starts the truck and the charging system still shows as working, they can't understand the problem and refuse to keep working until the problems are solved. Their answer is that it doesn't have any error codes so we can't fix it. "We don't just put in new parts". They acknowledge it is not working. This has been an ongoing problem for 2 years and is solved for 3- 6 months after they replace the battery, but after that point the battery obviously can't hold a high enough charge to properly operate the vehicle. I thought the F150 Platinum would come with better service, but I guess $80,000 doesn't stretch as far as it used to!
Bought a Chrysler 300 recently. This was my first time buying a car and always had the idea that it would be stressful and I would be taken for a ride on all kinds of extras but the salesman Mark Elliott was helpful, friendly and made me feel very comfortable with my first big purchase. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle
We visited a few other Ford dealerships prior to going to Capital Ford. The sales staff are knowledgeable, without the typical high pressure salesmanship. They quickly brought the vehicle we wanted in from another city. Their finance lady was very friendly and informative. It was a very positive experience. Unfortunately my first visit to their service department was not nearly as positive.
Everything was great from the moment I drove in. Drop off and pick up was timely. Front counter was great to deal with and explained everything in great detail. Only concern was my 2013 Ford Fusion with 45K has leaking rear shocks. I have owned many different vehicles over my 40 years of driving and over the same streets and never had to replace any shocks until after 100K. So hoping this is just a fluke
This is our first car in Winnipeg and we are really lucky that we have talked with Ricky (Hanyu) Zhang. Ricky is very nice and patient. He suggested the used 2011 pearl white Nissan Rouge based on our budget. The car is fantastic and in very good state. It is a very good deal and both my wife and I are satisfied with it. I will definitely recommend Ricky and the dealership to my friends.

The salesman i dealt with was extremely knowledgeable and generous. They were able to fix anything on the truck i bought and were able make me very happy! Very good experience with this dealership, both in the buying of a vehicle as well as their service department. Originally our Fiesta only had a single key, the salesperson wasn't sure whether it was lost by the dealership or if the previous owner hadn't given them 2. They made us a second one at no cost even if they probably didn't actually have to.
i pay for a six-point vehicle inspections coz i was driving to calgary from winnipeg. part of it is adding some fluid as well. they said everything is fine but thats not true. my coolant is low and wiper fluid is empty. if your not adding at least let the customer know so i could do it myself. At Jim Gauthier, they are doing it plus free car wash. Never coming back again to this place.
I received excellent service form Capital Ford Lincoln. We returned from a holiday late in the day, and still had a two hour drive to return home. My truck wouldn't start at the airport. I called Capital Ford to make an appointment and had my truck towed to their lot. Although it required staying past their regular hours, service advisor Rejean Bremaud made sure the problem was resolved and we were back on the road as soon as possible. Thanks to Rejean and to the service technician for providing more than the expected level of service.
I don’t have an option to rate it under “0” On December 15 I was there to buy a brand new Ford Edge, than asking for one with burgundy colour, and fully loaded. They are told me, they have it, and show me picture on web site. I am asking again, You have it on your lot. Answer is yes, but in Regina. Salesman explain to me that his boss have dealership in two locations, Winnipeg and Regina, and they are will transfer car to Winnipeg in 3 days. I come to pickup car on December 22. My wife and me come by taxi to dealership location. They are speaking nice and friendly till the end. I mean before a moment when we will take a car. Before we take it, we decided to walk around car and check it for damages. After one minute, we find a lot of scratches on rear bumper, water inside front lights, no cargo cover inside trunk. They are explained that this damage on bumper is not a big deal, cargo cover is not included, salesman told me you have to pay extra for that. Ok, I told him, while we made a deal I ask you what I can add in this vehicle and you told me nothing, this car is top model, this car has everything, nothing to add. For water inside light he explained that is normal. We are ask to exchange bumper cover, and give to us cargo cover for trunk and they are refused with explanation that they are losing money if they do that. We refuse to buy this car, brake a deal and call taxi to go home. Everybody shows that we are not welcome anymore in their property, but we are very lucky that they are didn’t kick us outside to wait taxi on -25 C I am really surprised that someone try to sell damaged car as a brand new!!!

I'd like to start with, I'm the proud owner of a 2012 Ford F350 Superduty Dually. I had a problem with my navigation system. I took my vehicle to another Ford dealership which is within walking distance from my home to have it looked at. They would not give me a firm cost on the repairs, but mentioned that a minimum to find the problem would have been around the same price that I paid for six tires. Needless to say, that was and will always be the last time I take my business there. I contacted Capitol Ford to see what they could do for me. The people working the service desk took the time and actually listened to my problem. We set up a time to bring my truck in. I was told that it would be most of the day and then asked if I needed a ride home. Over the years I have found that you can learn a lot about a place by asking the employees. So I accepted the ride and was able to get some honest answers from their driver. The thing that stood out in my mind was when I had a look at his pickups, and dropoffs. The customers came from all sides of Winnipeg and most of them live near other Ford dealerships. Needless to say, my truck was fixed on time and for about the same price as just one of my tires. I've returned several time for scheduled maintenance and have never had a problem! I don't know much about their sales dept. but I do know that they not only have a great bunch of Service advisors, the mechanics working there are very knowledgeable and can get to the root of the problem very quickly. Keep up the good work.
I found the service department a five star rating. They went out of their way to help with the problem with my vehicle and made it right. I cannot say enough about how well they treat their customers. Been dealing with Capital for years and I have yet walked away with a negative experience. If there is a recall or a problem they are quick to make it right and work with a customers schedule. Two thumbs up

Would not go back to the Service department. The second row seat in my 2005 Ford Freestyle wouldn't fold down and thinking a Ford dealership would be the best place to go to, I took my car in. They charged me $75 only to confirm the recliner mechanism is obsolete and they can't fix it. Took the car to a local mechanic where it was fixed in less than 5 minutes at a fraction of Ford's absurd diagnosis fee. Never again!
I already hated buying vehicles, and capital ford put the icing on the cake. I left a deposit to hold a vehicle, which was supposed to be refundable, but it was not refunded to me after I did not buy the vehicle. The building is full of greasy salesmen, greasy finance reps, greasy service department and so on. I made the mistake of visiting this establishment and it ended up costing me $500; I got exactly nothing for the money that I paid them. Please, for the love of God do not make the same mistake as I did.
Don’t trust the service department!! I took my SUV in to be diagnosed as my drivers side door was “dead”. They charged me $167.00 for diagnostic and said I needed a new door module, which would be about $600.00 for parts alone!!! My husband double checked all the fuses. It turned out it was just a fuse!! Now they’re denying the issue and won’t give me back my money for the misdiagnosis!!!
I just wanted to let everyone there know what an exceptional job that the bodyshop team did when I brought in my Mercedes for repair. Starting off in a terrible mood after being rear ended, I was talked down by Lonnie and Randy. They assured me that this facility had the technology and talent to bring my baby back to original condition. They made me feel confident that I was in good hands. I returned when the parts had arrived. It took a while, but I expected that with Mercedes. The Foreman went over the vehicle with me and addressed my concerns over how the colour would match. He was very empathetic towards my situation and explained the process of blending adjacent panels as well as what needed to be done to my car to make sure of a seamless repair. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with and took the time to make sure all my questions were completely answered and that I was satisfied before any of the work had even begun. First impressions of this facility were already surpassing any expectations I had of what a "bodyshop" was supposed to be. The back was surprisingly clean and organized, and the staff were polite and helpful. I was put in to a rental car for the duration of the repair to my vehicle. I was told to expect the repairs to take roughly a week. Six days later it was complete! What a great job. The paint was perfect and the gaps were tight, just like a Benz should be. I could not have asked for this interaction to be any smoother. This crew runs their process like a well oiled machine and the quality of people here are second to none. I will not hesitate to send any friends, family, or clients to Capital Collision Centre.
Staff was friendly and courteous, pricing is a little high and negotiating isn't one of the dealerships strong points. I suggest researching trade-in values and new vehicle pricing before speaking with this dealership.
I bought a used f-150 platinum from Capital Ford Lincoln in spring of 2015. I dealt with Rob and Eric. They provided (and have since) great service and accommodated all my requests and concerns. I have had a few minor issues along the way but they've all been taken care of in a timely manor. Our company has since bought two more trucks from Capital Ford in the past six months. I purchased my 2017 Ford Fusion from here back in 2017 and loved the experience. I’ve continued to get my car serviced here and have never had any poor experiences at all. Any issues are quickly taken care of. Living out of town I used to drop off my vehicle and use the free shuttle to go to work and come back at the end of the day.. Now with Covid, they’ve made servicing my vehicle even easier with vehicle pick up and drop off. I make an appointment and they come to my workplace, pick up my car and drop it off again when completed. FREE! No charge and hassle free for me. I love it. It couldn’t be any easier and very safe. People there are always very friendly and helpful. Great job!
I went into capital after having a horrible experience at another dealership. I was greeted by tiffany in sales as soon as I came in, she was very friendly and helpful, she found a truck for me right away. We went on the test drive and everything was exactly what I looking for. The deal process was quick and painless, I told them what I was looking to spend and they got me what I wanted without any of the dealership games a lot of places play. Peter in finance is great to deal with, very friendly and easy to talk to, he laid out our options, and explained everything very clearly and easy to understand. I have bought new cars quite a few times and I have never had such a great experience. Both my wife and I have nothing but positive things to say about this dealer and will recommend to everyone looking to buy a ford to do their business here.

Gotta say this was my most enjoyable experience buying from a dealership in the past 25 years! I first spoke on the phone with Jeff, the sales manager, who assured me he had a few trucks on the lot I may be interested in and good prices too. When I finally made it down to the dealership, he set me up with Tony, my sales guy, to narrow it down, go for test drives and go over details of the individual trucks. No pressure, no games, just information and answers to ALL my questions...the way it should be. Every step of the process from the first contact to financing to picking up the new truck was easy and clearly explained. It's so refreshing to be able to shop for a vehicle and not have to play games. Real people, real professionals.
