Both times we bought a vehicle there we accepted what was first presented to us only to have the salesperson come back to say the finance guy screwed up .. and ended up paying thousands more for the vehicle, the service department seems okay though the Birchwood advantage is a farce as we had to pay for our tire getting a nail in it. Even though they show you a picture of a destroyed rim and tire were they proudly proclaim they replaced for free. If you're buying a Honda your probably better off going to one of the other dealers you'll have a more enjoyable experience I'm sure

Took my car there to get the sun roof fixed 4 times, it's still not fixed properly. Service advisor I dealt with was rude saying "things doesn't work like you expect it to be". Her pleasant and easygoing personality made her such a pleasure to work with. Although it's a very individual experience, I should share with others that the sales consultant tried her best to give me the deal that I proposed. We have had nothing but horrible experiences with both of birchwood's Honda service departments. We bought a new honda accord and had trouble with the seal on the doors. Made an appointment got there at the right time. Stood waiting for 10 minutes while the service people kept ignoring us. Never even acknowledged that we were standing there. Turned out they ordered the wrong part, so we had to come back another day and had the same horrible service. Let me just say that after several horrible service experiences we ended up going to Winnipeg Honda and the difference was like night and day. Winnipeg Honda's service people were fantastic and knew what "customer service" was. I would never deal with any Birchwood dealership again. If I could I would give them a rating of minus 100.

Service is extremely poor and unprofessional. I came to drop my car for service and asked for shuttle back to home . They suggested waiting for 1.5 hrs as shuttle dropping and come back will be almost same time and work will be done by then . And its more then 2.5 hrs and I have been told it ll take 30mins more. It's so frustrating ....better getting service done at some local auto shop...

I have always had good service when I have gone to this location. I work with Jaycee, and he has been wonderful. He walks me through every step and process when my vehicle is in the shop, and regularly checks on me and explains things to me so I understand what is being worked on. He asks my permission before any work gets done which is really nice. He also lets me know what parts are more urgent to fix and what parts can wait until later. Overall I am very satisfied, and in general I am happy to own a Honda as the vehicle and the employees are excellent.

Was on my way to pick up a brand new Mazda when some of the cars from here popped up on my radar. Angel Rosevear was able to help me through the whole process and do an amazing job, while saving me a ton of money. She helped me get a really good deal, and even had the car washed when I requested in order to make sure there were no scratches or chips in the paint. Having shopped around at many different dealerships, this level of service is really hard to come by in the industry, and I definitely recommend going to her if you're looking for a car, Honda or otherwise. Brian was my finance manager, and Taylor handled the delivery of the car for me. 10/10 experience. Really liked how both Angel and Brian weren't pushy about any warranties or additional products, but rather very informative about the products they offer.

Got service B (which includes oil change) done on my 2013 Accord, oil started dripping on my driveway and badly stained the driveway (never had this problem before). Extra $50 were included as cost of SUPPLIES for my Service B bill (undisclosed charges). Have to head back to dealership to get the Leaking Oil after oil change checked, I should be able to charge them for the time which I am going to waste and the the oil stains on driveway but our laws only protect corporations and consume consumers

Most of their employees were very helpful, patient and answered all of my dad's questions in a polite and understanding manner. My dad bought a Honda Civic 2012 there and answered all his questions regardless of how short-tempered my dad was. HOWEVER, once the car was bought - we encountered some issues with credit/interest for the car and the bank. When we tried calling Birchwood Honda on Regent for some help and guidance, it was so difficult to contact them. So basically, buying the car was a breeze but once you sign the contract and encounter some problems, they suddenly disappear . . . 3.5 / 5.

In sales, virtues such as courtesy and attentiveness make a world of difference. Phil's ambition to get us into a vehicle was no less obvious than the guys at, say, Waverly Mitsubishi. To contrast, Waverly Miitsubishi was our first stop in our car shopping journey; Birchwood Honda on Regent was our last. At Waverly we arrived right at opening on a Saturday, and this was apparently a real nuisance to their receptionist, and interrupted their morning sales meeting; at Birchwood we arrived near closing on a Tuesday, and on that and every day we met with them afterward they showed us how eager they were to work with us after hours, and even on their days off, to get a deal done. At Waverly, the salesman kept interrupting me as I was explaining how feature/product A didn't interest us so that he could hear himself talk about feature/product A; at Birchwood, Phil listened and made every effort to zero in exactly what did interest us. I could go on and on. Courtesy and attentiveness turn "pushy" salespeople into "motivated" salespeople. They turn the negotiation process from one that holds you captive, into one that captivates you. They get deals done. Thanks Phil, for being courteous and attentive. Minus half a star due to the process taking a lot longer than we would have preferred, if I'm going to be completely honest. But the rating doesn't allow half stars.

I want to share a really bad experience with Birchwood Honda on Regent. I bought out my lease of the car about 5 months ago. Before buying out my car I was asked to do MPI cerfiticate of infection (safety inspection) and I did this inspection at the same location and I paid $180.75 to obtain this certificate. They also charged $386 which is called Honda Lease Buyout to cover dealers fee for ownership transfer and fee to obatin MPI cerfiticate of infection. Since I have already done the vehichle safety inspection before I was informed that I will the refund of $180.75 though post. I also informed them I changed my address so provided the new address since they are going to post the refund. Two months passed called the person who assisted me to buy out the lease in Finance (don't want to reveal the name) put a message on voicemail. Another month passed didn't get a call back usually before the buyout if u put a message on voicemail you will get a call back soon (5-10 mins) based on my experiences. After 3 months every week I called the finance and put messages on voicemail. Sometimes I went through the receptionist to check in case if the phone is not working. After about 4 months I got an email saying that my refund returned back can you please confirm the address. Finally I got the payment and now the worst part. I got a refund of $173.60. What happened to my $7.15? Anyway, didn't give a call to inquire about this at least I got $173.60. There are lots of good people at this place like Jeol Smith, Allord Rangasjo and Russell Dela Cruz. Because of those nice people I ended up buy a vehicle in this place. I guess the management should need to pay attention to these matter and should take necessary actions to stop happening those again.

Infuriating. The word I would use to describe this Honda dealership. I usually leave this dealership in a horrible mood. None of the departments seem capable of communicating and they all have a different answer for the same question. I have learned, if they promise anything, get it in writing. When I voiced my concern about getting different answers from everyone, the service department employee became quite patronizing. If you have a lot of time on your hands and want to argue until you're blue in the face, buy your vehicle here. On the other hand, I do enjoy my car and get excellent fuel economy. I will likely continue to buy Honda vehicles, just not from this dealership(unless something drastically changes).

Bought my vehicle from here and I doubt I will ever again. My Car Battery was dead when I got the car home and already needed an immediate boost. Car was a 2009. Should not have even passed a safety. But replacing the battery was out of my own pocket on a $27000 used vehicle. Getting replies from Staff was quick and responsive prior to my purchase. After the fact, it's like pulling teeth trying to get any response from them. Take your business to one of the other places. These guys will pass the buck until you are too frustrated to fight anymore. Any attempt to take it up the chain is generally left with dead ends

Overall pretty good. Things were efficient and each person we dealt with really seemed like an expert in their area. We originally went to the dealership (which is very far from our neighbourhood) because of a used car we saw online. We test drove it, didn't fall in love with it so we asked to try a brand new one. We ended up going with the new one in the end and it was so nice because our salesperson Daniel didn't pressure us at all to take the newer model. We asked, and he made everything accessible and easy. You could see him going back and forth to his manager to genuinely get the price as low as possible for us. It took two full evenings (were talking like 5-8 both nights) after work to get the test drive, negotiating, and paperwork all done but it seems like it was worth it! The time it took and the over all lack of cleanliness/environment in the second building where Daniels office was is the only thing bringing it to 4 stars instead of 5.

They don't seem to know a lot about their cars or the stuff they install on their cars. They just sell them. They don't listen to you either. Tell you they will do something for you. And well.. they don't. Bought one car and had 15+ problems. Mostly because they're just pretending to listen to you. I didn't learn the first time either. Recently I went back to get an oil change done (approx $70). They tried to raise my bill to over $500 through up-selling other suggested maintenance. I said, "ONLY an oil change". They did not listen. They couldn't even redeem themselves with a simple oil change. I will not be going back here ever again. These so called pros put 40psi in all 4 tires when the car clearly states they should be at 30psi. No wonder my car is sliding all over the road and the traction control is freaking out. This place can't listen to it's customers or even follow specs. I ONLY asked for an oil change. The manager did get back to me. Guess how he redeemed himself.. He didn't. He did nothing for me at all.

Sold me a lemon, and a warranty that doesn't cover anything. I bought a used 2008 Civic Si, and had issues almost immediately. The battery was dead within a week and left me stranded at work. It took hours of calling back and fourth to get them to cover the replacement battery. I called to use my roadside assistance package, and was told it will be an 11 hour wait. The clutch failed and wouldn't release all the way (not a wear issue) and was told that my warranty won't cover it. The clutch master cylinder failed and I had to replace it myself. A front coil spring broke and I was informed that my front and rear suspension would all have to be replaced due to wear ($1500 job). I replaced it myself only to discover it was completely unnecessary. And had some other parts fail (a/c, coolant temp sensor, transmission synchros). All of this within 7000km. By 7000km, the estimate for repairs was $7500. My warranty covered a $200 sensor that I had to pay a $50 deductible on. Steer clear of Birchwood. This is the last car I ever buy from that company.

My experience with Birchwood Honda Regent is full of disappointment. Poor customer service. Never buy any additional packages offered with new car. I have been dealt very poorly few times already in 2 years. It took me one week and about dozen phone calls to get an appointment for interior warranty claim. And even after leaving CRV for one day I can see stains all over the car seats and didn't even wipe dashboard or doors or sides or back of seats, stains visible all over. Its wasted of time talking to them. Lesson learned at cost of about $1600. I won't recommend Honda Regent to anyone at all. Good luck someone still want to give them a chance.

If you are a first time buyer, don't EVER go there. I went there to test drive Acura ILX, the salesperson was very pushy. she wouldn't take no for an answer. When I mentioned that the car might be a bit small it I were going camping with my friends, instead of showing me another car, she insisted that the car has enough space. She offered to give me free commend start which worth $600 dollars, but when I said that she can give me $600 lower on the vehicle, she said 'you don't understand, I offer you this so that you don't have to install it on your own'. So I finally put the deposit on the car, and agreed to pay $150 biweekly for 7 years. Second day, the finance manager called me said that I got approved for $200 for 6 years, I told her that it was too expensive for me, and I want to switch to a different car, she was upset with me asking me why I wanted to change my mind out of sudden, and said that my $500 deposit is non-refundable since I was approved for the car loan. When I mentioned that I wanted to go somewhere for financing, she told me that there is nowhere I could go that will approve me. Finally she agreed to switch to another car, after looking at their inventory, I told her that I don't see anything I like, so I will just wait till they have more inventory. She then told me that I will lose my deposit if I don't buy a car within 30 days. So I went in yesterday and asked to speak to her manager directly, she told me that the manager is in a meeting, and gave me the money back. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had, and if you don't know anything about cars and want one for your first time, don't go there.

Impressed with the service from the start, shortly after I got there and was just looking at a civic outside was approached by Philip Halili he was very kind and took the time to ask what I was looking for in a car and to go over everything to make things easy for a first time buyer, he wasn't pushy about anything. We were looking for a 2018 honda odyssey EXL with RES in color white, they said they don't have one but they have an EXL with navigation and they can install a rear entertainment system for an additional $1500 plus they will add an accesory as long as we make a deal before the month ends. It sounded like a good deal hence we went for it. On the day of the release of the vehicle, the entertainment system was not even close to what we imagined it to be. It was not explained to us that it is not similar to the trim with a built-in RES and that it will come from a secondary market. It destroyed the classy image of the 2018 odyssey as this one looks cheap. When my husband voiced our dissatisfaction on how it turned out, they gave us a quote if we want to swap it to a our desired trim. The new value of the minivan is $9,000 less on what we will be paying for the vehicle- for a van that remained in their parking lot while my husband is trying to negotiate with them. Of course, it left us with no choice but to take the vehicle with us. We are heart-broken and very disappointed with the incident. We will never transact a business with them again!

I have only one advice for everybody who ever reads this note of mine . Please never buy a Honda automobile. I had bought a brand new Honda 2007 and regularly got it serviced from This location . My car had still got less than 40k on it and had right front axle failed , rear main seal failed transmission failed and bunch of other things failed. Unfortunately I was discussing these matters with Kelly Daun ( Assistant service team leader of Birchwood Honda) and the examples this guy started giving me made me feel really embarrassed for buying the product.According to him if you buy a brand new Sony TV and put it on the cabinet for 2 years and if it does not turn ON its your fault that you did not use it for 2 years.so according to him Honda cars do not wish to stand for the customer satisfaction as they are not liable after the warranty expires. Been a loyal customer since I bought my car in 2017. Changing my review from 5-star to 1-star today in 2021. They stopped giving co-op carwash coupons last year “because of covid”. Not because of safety because the co-op carwash is touchless and contactless. I know business is down so I can forgive them for cutting down services. Today I went in for a seasonal tire swap and they charged me extra for “hazardous waste disposal”. I’m not an expert on cars but there is no hazardous waste involved in changing a tire. Business is down and these are the tricks they pull on their loyal customers. Will be taking my oil changes and tire swaps somewhere else next time.

Not much of a deal to be had as they are not too interested in bartering. The problem really begins when you offer a trade in. Birchwood Honda is more than eager to convince you why your vehicle is worth very little. I consider myself a reasonably intelligent person and had done research on the value of my vehicle ahead of time so I had an idea of what I might be offered for it as a trade. I have bought many vehicles in my life and done trades numerous times. I’m not unreasonable, I understand a trade is always less than we’d like it to be but this dealership is just unbelievale with what they offer for trade in’s. These days we all have access to internet, it’s up to us to do our dudilligence. If you are going to go tho Birchwood Honda please make sure you know the value of your vehicle, don’t let them belittle your intelligence, take it to another dealer where you are treated with a little more respect.

I have leased my 2017 civic through them, and normally bring my car here for all servicing and have a great experience every time, however Honda cannot compete with other dealerships when it comes to winter tires. Honda charges $200 a year for storage even to their valued customers who have purchased their vehicles. Offered no promotions whatsoever, and the quote for the tires was one of the highest of shops that I had contacted. Other dealerships in the city offer free storage and yes they store on site but come on... I would have loved to purchase through you guys, like I said nothing but good experiences so far with servicing, but these high storage fees and non-competitive quotes are losing customers.

Just finished with the absolute WORST sales experience with any dealership. If I could give "0" stars, that would be more fitting than 1 star! We arrived as soon as they opened on Friday morning at 9 am to look at a used vehicle for sale. The salesman handed us the keys after a quick review of the vehicle. Test drive it and decided that was the vehicle we wanted, hands down. So to the showroom floor we went to discuss the sale. After a bit of typical back and forth for pricing, all written down and initialed (approximately an hour this took) we got the " congratulations on your new vehicle" with a handshake and a big smile. (Pretty sure that's a verbal contract...)We even put our names on the sold tag for the salesman to hang in the window. Very pleased with our decision, one of the sales managers came back with the salesman and said " I have some bad news. The vehicle was actually sold yesterday. But financing hasn't gone through yet". The funny part is that the sales manager who broke that news to us was the same one we were going back and forth with and agreed about the price!! All written down and initialed, and the offer to purchased the vehicle was signed....hmmm contract?.. Taken back and upset about the loss of the vehicle and by the lack of communication between the sales "team", we asked if there were any other options or vehicles available with what we were looking for. This is when one of Birchwood's finance managers said to the sales manager that she was trading her same vehicle in that we are looking for! Wow what luck we thought! Really the only difference was color which were still pleased with. And it was 1 year newer. Apologetic about the confusion, we were assured that if financing did not go through on the first vehicle, this vehicle was assured to be given a great deal on, but we would be "guaranteed" one or the other. Yes GUARANTEED we were told!! So we put down a substantial deposit to ensure we would have one of the two vehicles. If the financing fell through on the first, we would be first in Line for that, and if the financing went through, we were first in line for the vehicle being traded in by the finance manager. Which we were told would happen Monday. Yes once again, we were "GUARANTEED" by the sales manager!! So now I just recieve the phone call saying the financing went through, bye bye vehicle number 1....and in the same phone call, the GUARANTEED vehicle number 2, the finance manager is not trading it in now...bye bye vehicle number 2. Yes I was refunded the deposit after all this disaster -Poor training of procedures -Lack of communication between sales staff -Broken promises and contractual obligations -Zero integrity of sales staff -Poor management -Poor attention to customer needs I asked for the dealership owner to give me a call regarding this manner. I guess we will see how much the owner of Birchwood Honda values a customers feedback regarding the performance of their sales staff and managers

I recently had the unfortunate experience of having my keys stolen, among them were my car keys and fob. It was in a panic that I contacted Birchwood Honda and explained my situation. The person I spoke with was very sympathetic to my stress of the situation and told me to bring my car in that day whenever was convenient to me and they would get it done ASAP. They certainly delivered and within the hour of me bringing in my car I had my spare key reprogrammed and a new fob. It was a relief and huge peace of mind. I called in and spoke with a sales rep who told me the 2016 civic DX Manual transmission model listed for around $18,250 on the website was not available in Manitoba. I asked for reasons why and he told me hey can't be sold in Manitoba because they don't include A/C and i could go to Toronto or B.C. to get one... Which is total BS! He then told me the lowest base model at the Regent based dealer would be LX. I then requested pricing on the LX and was pushed to come in to talk. I then asked why I can't have a 2016 civic DX with added A/C because paying the $ 21,500 for LX is like paying $3,000 for A/C. He replied with " Are you coming in to test drive this car or what?". I then called Crown Honda Winnipeg and they had 2 DX MT models ready for test driving and purchasing, I was informed that Birchwood Honda Regent was lying to me!

My first time dealing with Birchwood, the Service Consultant Aboubakar took care of everything. I had warranty issues that Aboubakar went above and beyond & got the issue resolved for me. This followed by the service manager Jimmy moving mountains for me in regards to additional costly warranty work that was required. You got me the warranty work approved and completed the repairs very well. This followed by some collision repair work completed very satisfactory. Never send your friends to this dealership! save them from head ache! .2014, i bought my pilot touring here for 49k it was seconds hand thats so they strongly recommend to get the comprehensive extended WARRANTY so i did, i want all the best for my vehicle oviously, i paid additional $2,000 for it. Today i went to see the service department for a minor touch-up on my leather seat. my comprehensive insurance includes Interior armour, Body Armour, Paint Armour, etc.. anyway, the first service guy wasn't a help at all so I went see the manager, Ian. He kinda help us, he told me that my insurance covers nothing. Basically nothing. i can read from his eyes saying "You SHOULDN'T purchased any warranty as its just a CASH GRAB" because you can not claim it for anything. like you just thow ur $2k in the bin. i pity myself for a moment there. now it made sense why I never received my referal bonus after a successful transaction of my sister with them. these people giving them 5stars? of course they will. they are excited, full of joy people because it's new. i bet you after 3 yrs or so when they are up for service maintenance, they will also regret going to this dealership. Don't trust the sale person on what they claim without seeing and verifying it yourself. They do tell lies. I bought a Honda Odyssey van. At the time of delivery I specifically asked the guy Mr Rodel Olesco about what kind of tires the van had on it. He claimed it had 'all season tires' and I trusted it. Now it turned out it only had winter tires on it, and nobody at Birchwood is responding to my emails. So...be careful guys before you accept the delivery!!

I went their to check the price for 2020 Civic ex. Product advisor Angel Rosewear helped me with that and she discussed with me the price and features of the civic sport as well. I was a loyal customer from 2012-2017 but i had so many bad experiences with them. 1.Some advisors will try and rip you off by telling you to do a service your car doesn't really need. "You have to protect your car investment so you must do this service blah blah blah", even though your car was only asking for oil change service. 2. I bought a set of winter tires and they told me upon purchase that it will come with free tire rotations for 3 years. I brought my car in for tire rotation for the first time and they told me they don't do that free anymore so i will have to pay them for that. 3. I showed up for an appointment and they told me it wasn't on the system so i will have to book again to reschedule. I drove 20kms but advisor did not even apologize for the inconvenience. 4. One car salesman was rude. I wanted to buy a CRV so i was asking for the price. He wouldn't tell me and he even said, "why do you want me to spoonfeed you the price". I ended up buying my CRV somewhere else. I do not recommend this dealership. There are better ones out there with honest and respectful employees who know how to treat customers with dignity.

After 2 months of trying to get some warranty work done on my car I've been told that it is not covered. After calling back and forth, going to the dealership once a week for 2 months, I'm told it's not covered although the warranty company said it was. So finally after the dealership gets that info I'm told the parts are on backorder. Today we stop in for a visit and all the sudden the parts were available, I was not called when they initially came in, but also we're not covered, once again. I bought a 2018 blue honda civic touring from this place. While taking the car for a test drive the interior was so dirty from mud all over the whole interior, I was very disappointed at how the vehicle was kept as it only had 20km on it. I still decided to buy the car as it was the color and trim that I wanted and I assumed once it was cleaned it would be just like new as it was brand new. When I went to pick up the car they had cleaned it up good for me. However I noticed there was very distinct scratches on the center console. There was 2 scratches the entire length of the shifter panel. One scratch on the wireless charging pad, and one scratch you could see on the screen. The scratches would be no big deal if I was buying this car used. But it was a brand new car and now I have to look at all these flaws everytime i get into the car. I can honestly say i will never be buying a car from this dealership again after this experience. Hope this review helps.

I wish i didn’t have to even give this one star.. Today i had to take my car in for B13 service but i had declined the B13 service and went with just the engine and transmission fluids change. I asked the service advisor if the tech could look at why my heated mirrors arnt working and he said they wont have anyone certified working on the car because fluid changes doesn’t require you to be certified so they can not look at the mirrors (Defroster is working as it should) To be honest the mirrors never worked from the day we bought this car and didn’t realize it until the winter hit couple years back and I never went back. Anyway, i said okay just get the fluid replaced. 30 mins after dropping the car i get a call from my service advisor and he said my breaks are seizing so they need to service that and i agree to do this and asked why someone certified working on the car? He had no answer. I let it go, 25 mins later i get another call from service advisor and now he says the break pads also needs to be replaced which would cost extra. I declined and said to make sure im only charged with just the fluid replacement service and that’s all. At the beginning no certified tech was supposed to work on it and then certified Tech worked on it , calling me twice to recommended this and that, at this point i had already realized how these guys are a cash grab.. They will scare you to death and make you fall for something that doesn’t even need. We dealt with this stealership for past 10 years and I will no longer deal with these guys.

I had to micro manage every step of the process and mistakes were still made. I'm still waiting, four months later, for a hitch that was promised as part of the deal. So far the service has been so bad that I have been talking with the assistant manager, and now, I'm waiting for a call back from the manager. This is my 4th Honda. I am pulling my hair out, and almost at the point of contacting Better Business and/or going to small-claims court. NOTE: Had the manager called back today, I would not have written this review. I have been more than patient every step of the way.

Great sales, but DO NOT BUY THEIR ADDITIONAL INSURANCES. It is in-house and they unilaterally dismissed my rim damage claim, which my local garage confirmed would be covered under similar packages provided by other insurers. I carefully read and reread the limits of coverage and the exceptions and I should have been covered. Cars are great, insurances not worth the paper they are written on...….oh, but they are more than willing to take your money for that paper.

Excellent sales team but very poor service. Me and my wife bought brand new 2015 Honda Pilot about two years ago. Five days after we got our Pilot we noticed Engine coolant was leaking. We took it back we were told the technician forgot to put a gasket. No apology for what happened but they put a gasket. A few weeks ago we took our pilot for tire rotation and for a few inspections. When we got our pilot back after the inspection the oil cap wasn't there. I am glad they replaced the cap for us but that shouldn't had happened first place.

I was just in for a third oil change on my 2017 civic done couple days ago and now they stating that I need my two fluid change due time/mileage on there inspection and state over the phone it will damage the vehicle if I don't change it soon... seem like they want to hold onto you until you agreed to do the service and then they seem happy for service that doesn't need to be done being done. seem to be me its a money grab and this dealership is not following the honda recommending service for mine or any other honda product that comes in note... third oil change is roughly ~18000kms

the car had climate controls not working and the dealership refused to work under warranty, the car was 2019 honda accord 28k kms . dealership told us it might be due to front bumper replacement(around 4 months back)that was replaced by authorized honda autobody but refused to write it down on work order forcing us to pay $129 just for diagonastics. for that time I felt regretful for purchasing a honda vehicle instead a toyota camery. we took car back to the autobody and they checked everything it was jut the computer that was not working and sent us to crown honda, who did everything under warranty even knowing after the car was purchased from honda regent. wont ever go to this dealership ever again
