I recommend against doing business here. Found a used vehicle here, made the 1 hour trip (each way), worked out price details and a arranged a couple of pre-sale repairs (unexpected - since we were told it had been gone over by their technical team, but trying to be reasonable). Once complete, arranged to return to do a final 'cursory' inspection (see above - their team had allegedly already checked it) and take possession. That cursory inspection actually revealed a significant transmission line leak. Kim (our salesperson) brought Dawn (Business Manager) out, and they assured me they would diagnose the vehicle and repair it. If the repair worked out, we talked about the possibility of arranging delivery, rather than investing in another long trip. My request was that they stand behind the transmission longer than their usual "50/50" warranty, specifically for the transmission since I had no way of knowing if it had been run on low fluid and could have damage. I did not want to be paying for a new transmission (or even 50/50) in a few weeks time and expected they would be happy to stand behind their repair. Kim contacted me the following day, and said the owner (Ivan Forbes) declined. Further, there was no counter-proposal or offer. I suppose it would be easier for Kim, Dawn and Ivan to sell the vehicle to someone who didn't know its history. If you picked up a gold Grand Caravan here in early 2021 VIN ending in 702 - good luck with the transmission. Other items I thought were minor at the time, but in hindsight I think it says more about what kind of integrity the team has: * vehicle was advertised as accident free, and pointing out the slightly dented bumped was brushed off with "well the previous owner never disclosed that". * vehicle was advertised as having a feature (Bluetooth) that it did not have - no change to the ad Finally, at the end of Kim's last call, I asked him to have Ivan call me so I could recap this experience for him. I wanted to see if my experience was something he wanted associated with Grandpa Forbes' legacy as a respected businessman. I have my answer: Ivan Forbes never called.

The most polite front desk team that I have eveer experienced. I wish I could rate them seperately, cause they'd get 10/5. SUPER expensive service rates. Like gauging level, and unwilling to budge when you show them other shop's quotes that are 25-30% less. KIA makes a good car, but Forbes makes it more than unpleasant to maintain them. I reccommend Baines Auto for ANY service. They are fair, profesional and knowledgeable.

Had to go to Halifax to have warranty work completed because they wouldn't do it in Bridgewater. They told me I'd have to pay for it even though I was under 100, 000 kms. Halifax KIA gladly did the work no questions asked (over $1000). I have bought my last two vehicles from Bridgewater KIA but won't make that mistake again.
Had my first oil change done and could get there during Service hours but they had a loaner vehicle ready for me ... great friendly service

Unfortunately I had a bad sales experience at this dealership and cannot recommend buying from here. What was initially a friendly interaction on a used vehicle, turned into disappointment and questionable sales practices. My patience and communication on the deal was met with refusals and misdirection, instead of working to satisfy the customer. Please be careful if shopping here and consider other Kia dealerships first.

Would not shop here for a vehicle ever...was lied to by Kim Zinck( salesman) and again by Dawn in the finance dept. Was told that a vehicle that I was interested in would be available the next morning without a deposit..although I offered. In the morning I called to let them know I was coming out to buy ...a deposit was left by another customer??..complete shock...called the owner Ivan and somehow was given priority for it. Upon speaking to Dawn my final price was 14445.00 on the vehicle..plus my 500.00 deposit that was left after the whole who had first dibs on it was sorted out . Drove in from Halifax with the buyer of my car for a convenience trade ..long story short 940.00 credit towards my purchase 15,000 -940.00...my price when I ARIVED 15,700.00 plus my 500.00 deposit( 1200.00 MORE)...DONT BUY HERE...KIM ZINCK , DAWN & IVAN SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES...i hope you are shoveling snow around that Kia Sportage in December..

Disappointed for my service yesterday, only because of my previous good experiences. My appointment was for 1pm and I arrived at 12:45pm. Unlike my Lube, Oil, Filter appointments here last August and December, this time I was told that I couldn't have a loner since the LOF work was only a 35 minute job - they don't offer a loner for such a short time. With this rationale, and a 1pm appointment, shouldn't my car have been ready at 1:35pm? They brought my car out of the shop at 2:05pm.

This was my first service appointment for my 2018 Kia Soul. The service department staff were friendly and welcoming. The car was in and out in under an hour, which included a complimentary wash. The real surprise was the price. Because Forbes offers a discount on oil and filter, the cost was just $26 and change. I have been telling everyone about this experience. Not at all what I have been used to in town.

After picking up my car from Belleisle NS. finally my car was fixed.They had to deal with 3 recalls.THE first time I WAS ORDERED in ,they didn't repair what I was scheduled for to come to Bridgewater. A day before I drove to Forbes ,they should have called me for another APPOINTMENT.They didn't do it. So I wasted lots of time and money. 3 times I ASK them for a quote for my Kia " Sorento". I was ready to except a half way dicent offer to buy a new car.I never got a quote. Good bye Kia Forbes.
I feel very mislead by the warranty and the company. I was advised "bumper to bumper", and I naively believed it. It was my first vehicle and wanted to ensure it was protected. I have had a few issues that ended up not being covered under warranty, and now, a rock flew up and chipped my windshield and I was told they would cover chips in the paint but not the glass. The way the warranty was explained was very misleading and I am disappointed in the selling tactics.

I bought a new 2019 Kia Niro at this dealership. It was the best experience I have ever had buying a car and I have buy 5 new car in my time so far. I also get my car 100% maintained and serviced at this dealership and again the best experiences I have ever had with a service department. I drive all the way down from dartmouth just to get my cars service here. (About hour and ten mins) but worth the drive. I also would recommend any looking for a new Kia or new car to definitely make the drive down. My go to people are Dawn and Lee. Fantastic people to work with.
