En résumé n'achetais pas de voiture la bas sans la faire inspecter par votre garagiste de confiance, car chez Auto St-Hubert, il n'y a pas de quoi si fié sur leur honnêteté ... elle est absente!

Firstly, I was unable to get the inspection done on a car I was interested in because my inspector has been refused by them as they didn’t agree with his inspections after failing his inspections. When I returned to get a refund of my deposit, I was lectured by the man working there for not having an inspection done and “wasting their time”. Instead of being professional and understanding, he showed complete lack of basic professionalism. As someone who has worked with the public for a long time, I, the client had to put on my professional face and tone and treat him like a “difficult, emotional client” to keep the situation from escalating.

The dealer website lists wrong financing prices, and the service is mediocre at best. In urgent need for a car, I came across their site while shopping around. They had a good and reasonable variety of vehicles with a few that caught my attention. Not sure yet if I wanted to finance or purchase put a lot of their cars within my budget and I was extremely interested in checking them out. I stopped by their closest location to find that somehow in the 30 minute drive, the cars I thought where within my budget no longer appeared to be so. I put it away to misremembering the prices or models. I also found out that the car I was most interested in was at their other location not far away. The greeting I received at their second location was lukewarm at best with the representative giving little indication of wanting me there at all. But I came to check out a car or two, not to make friends. On arrival, I was told that the car I came to see, the car I was told 3 minutes ago was there, ended up being at their depo. But these things happen, and I knew they had some other interesting models available. After taking a look around their cramped lot that makes checking out a potential purchase very difficult, I spotted a couple that I remembered to be in my budget. I would later learn that the finance prices listed on their website in RED BOLD letters are incorrect and you have to refer to the paragraph of text at the bottom of the page for the real price. Something that is apparently outside of their control. I should have left right away, but I was set on getting a car that day. So after talking more with the representative that gave of the impression of wanting to be anywhere else but selling cars that day, I ended up deciding on testing one of the cars I had my eye on. The car had several issues that the seller told me would be fixed but put away the rest to either small issues or none issues at all. But there was another one car I wanted to test, as well as perhaps going to see the car I drove 40km for before I could make an intelligent decision. There was also another similar model car to the first one I tested. When I went to the dealer, who by this time left me alone, to ask about the detail on it, I was told quite frankly to make up my mind as he was not there to test out cars with me. I guess it is my job to know in detail the condition of his inventory. Not wanting to be too much of a nuisance and being reasonably satisfied with the car I tested, I decided to go ahead with the purchase, but if I wanted to take possession of it right away, I had to make a call to the bank. The 15-minute wait to speak with the bank gave me time to reflect on all the small issues with the car, which overall did not paint a reassuring picture. I also began to question why I would do business with someone who gave the impression of wanting to get rid of me more than selling me a suitable car. Luckily my senses kicked in, and I bailed out of there deciding that this was not the kind of service I wanted to reward with a sale. To my surprise the story was not over, as not long after leaving my 2 star review (3 stars for the service, -1 star for a convenient issue with their site that makes their offers more attractive than they actually are), I receive a call from an upset representative asking me to change my rating as he gave me an excellent service. I ended up buying that model of car from another seller later that evening from a seller pleased to answer any question I had and went out of his way to provide me with useful information on the car that I did not think to ask as well as paperwork dating back to the original purchase of the car— a totally contrasting experience. After thinking it over, researching the "small" issues from the test drive, and reading the representative's response to my rating, I decided to remove another star from my rating for all of the reasons mentioned above. (2-star service at best, -1 start for a conveniently misleading website that is out of their control to fix)

We had a mutual agreement on the deal and ended up buying the thing and now im 2 weeks in and realise that they over charged and that the serpentine belt inside the vehicule is giving up ... When call they say they will call back but they never did. I would give 1 star but i had one sells rep that was pretty cool with us so i guess thats the only good part out of that deal i had. My advice, read the contract and make sure the car has nothing that needs to be change in a near future, seek other advice to make sure you arent gonna be disapointed in the end because used car often have surprises in store for you.

I was very eager to go see a Speed3 they have.. i even call me insurance to get a quote but i was so dissapointed by the service they provided to me. I took a look around the car then i wanted to see the inside and engine compartment.. i was told to go speak to Julien he will help me.. 1st thing Julien told me was if i will finance the car or pay cash.. and was insisting to know it.. I was like thats very odd for a dealer to know 1st thing if i will finance the car or pay cash. I havent even took a decision or even had a good look at the car yet. He said if i decide to finance the tax % will bw 29% since i look young.. since i look young ??!! Anyway took me inside his office and said 'i see you had a good look of inside and started the engine already..' i was like 'no, i only had a look around the car and thats it' ... maybe he took me for someone else?? Then took a piece of paper out of a drawer then said 'the car got check engine light on, handbrake doesnt work, rust spots and windshield is cracked'... i felt he really trying to push me away. After he put his piece of paper back in his drawer and said 'alright, thank you' without me able to say anything. Didnt had the chance to discuss anything with him like if he can start it up or open the door at least.. listed at $5500 for all these issues, maybe he couldve talk about a deal..nothing Anyway, I thanked him and got out of there. I had been searching for an suv, cherokee,preferably diesel, for a while. I had visited a few dealerships and to be honest I don't know how some people can be so rude and disrespectful to clients and potential buyers. I was discouraged. I kept seeing adds on kijiji of cars that auto st-hubert was posting. Really nice cars/suv's and fairly priced. So I finally saw a diesel cherokee that they had and I decided to go check it out. I was anticipating same bad service as the other places and to find surprises on the car. However when I got there it was the opposite. The guy was super helpful, patient and respectful. The car was beautiful, fell in love right away. If you guys are looking for good used cars, great services and friendly people, go check them out. I would definitely highly recommend them.

I dont recommend buying a car here.when I bought it I heard a grinding sound in the front of the car and knew it was the bearings and told the salesman about it and he told me not to worry and to figure out what day I could take off work and so I told them tuesday because they were closed on Monday for the holiday.well on Saturday the rack and pinion started pouring out like a river and I called them and they told me they would look at it on Tuesday.i couldn't drive the car on the weekend and when I got there on Tuesday I had to find my own way home to lacolle,QC because they only had 1 courtesy car and it was gone.the next day I go get my car and was told to get aligned and I would have to pay myself so I agreed to do so .I drive away and noticed bearings are still not repaired but was to late to do anything since it was late in the evening. So know I go to get car aligned and garage tells me have to change bearings and brake pads that were in pieces first so I call auto st Hubert and tell them of my disappointment and I was told that if they knew I was that type of customer they would have never changed my rack and pinion and they were not responsible for the bearings. For a 2010 ford taurus purchase price $6500 and my repair bill was $1300.do the math not worth buying this car.before buying a vehicle there have your garage look at it first before you buy it.they replied by saying they gave me options to look good so everyone can see but believe me they never offered me any options.
