Had really great service from Matt at Southdale/Empire Auto. He came to our house to make it easier with three kids and a busy work schedule. It was prompt with replies and knew what I wanted on the first try (twice now actually!). I have experienced buying two cars from Matt starting with a small car and now a large 7 seater to fit my growing family. I am grateful to know who to go to for any auto purchases. Rob and Matt were both great to talk too and work with. Highly recommended.

Update: the phone call request was just a formality and after telling them what happened and providing all information they requested. They never contacted back I also left multiple messages as follow up. Very disappointing. Old: I would give them zero if I can. I rarely write reviews and wanted to warn buyers. I went over some reviews and I am quite surprised by few and based on my personal experience I would not recommend anyone . These guys are full of lies and will make so much sweet talk about the vehicles they are selling. The vehicle I bought 8 months ago had a major issues we raised ( brakes were not applying properly) and they promised to get it fixed and replaced and some of the problems came along and which were unable to point out during test drive ( they knew the car was rotten). We took their words and accepted this vehicle. Usually I drive for short distances and it was mostly winter time so I didn't notice anything major but once I put this car on the long tour for first time and noticed a burning smell from my tires so I took it to the mechanic and found out that my brakes were totally gone and were rotten. And I have been driving this car unsafely all along and I barely had an accident . I will raising a complain against their unethical practices and giving us the safety certificate given the brakes were never replaced cuz after that long drive 3 of my brakes were gone and my car was relying on only 1 brake. All they did was temporarily fix it rather than replacing it as they promised . Other points to be noticed they provide free oil service if you buy a car. I had it changed couple of times with them both times the oil change sign appeared half way through. so i decided this time to change on my own. And If you guys decide to buy the car with them i would suggest after they complete your recommended changes and provide you safety certificate ( safety certificate is only valid for 36 days) have it checked by some third party for second opinion before making it a final deal.

Was looking for a vehicle that doesn't hit the market often and found one in their inventory. Gave them a call and spoke with Adel. He was great to deal with. From the get go he was very professional and polite. When agreeing to purchase the vehicle there was little negotiation done on the price because he gave me a great price from the start on it. Since then there were a couple small things I've noticed over the month that I wanted or would like done and the team there has went above and beyond to help me find the proper contacts and referrals. I would recommend this place and Adel to anyone just for the type of service I got. I normally purchase from larger or more mainstream dealerships. Definitely am happy I decided to look here! These people are con artists. I don’t know how the owner sleeps at night. Me and my handicapped son bought a 2013 volkswagen jetta from them they made my son pay 4000$ over what everyone is selling it. Not even a month in the engine ceases. They said that we should’ve checked the oil. Who checks the oil after one month of driving the vehicle, isnt this part of the safety to make sure new oil is put in. They will no do anything for me and they told me to go to omvic, and thats what i’m gonna do. Very bad business.

They got us in a van pretty quick - basically told us what van we are allowed to get, which was a vehicle not even on their lot yet. Didn't even entertain the idea of other models. Rushed the safety of the van they gave us. Blew three tires since getting the thing because a wheel alignment was never done and of course isn't covered by the useless warranty. All issues that we brought to their attention since getting the van have been ignored - not to mention during the whole process I was completely ignored and they put my husband as the primary driver, didn't even think I knew how to drive when I am the primary on everything. Didn't bother asking me, I imagine it was assumed because I was the woman. Just completely unimpressed with the service. Yeah we got a new vehicle during a really desperate time (which earned the extra star) but based on our experience I could never recommended them to anyone.

Just brought my new baby home....my new 2011 Kia Soul that is! Brad Stewart and the rest of the team at Southdale Motors were an absolute pleasure! Brad took the time to help me find a vehicle that I would be happy with, at an affordable price and payment option. He listened to my wants/needs/must haves, and we talked about a few vehicles, before I decided to test drive, at his suggestion, the Kia Soul....it was love at first site! I have never bought a car before, and never wanted to buy one. You hear stories about people being taken advantage of, buying something they didn’t need, spending more money than they should. My knowledge of cars was ZERO. If I couldn’t walk, bike, or transit to my destination, then I didn’t bother going. But circumstances change and living in ignorance only hurts yourself. Being new to London and having to get a vehicle for a new job was an extremely daunting challenge. What kind of car do I need, where do I go, and what questions do I ask? Where does the windshield wiper fluid go? Like most people today, my education started on-line, but all that information means nothing without practical hands on experience. So I asked around, the local barbershop, the gas station, even the mailman. Where is a good place is to buy a car, do you know anyone that bought a car from there, how was the service, where they happy with their purchase. My answers to these questions led me to SOUTHDALE MOTORS. I walked in and said I needed a car, help me make the right choice. The only thing I knew about cars was that they had four tires and a steering wheel. The guys sat me down, asked me questions about what I needed the vehicle for, my budget, and my expectations. It was like going to school, and I had the best teachers. Every question I asked was answered by the well informed staff. I was given all the information I needed to help me make the right choice that fit my needs. Once my education reached a certain level, I was presented with the vehicles that fit my needs. Before driving the vehicles, I was given an orientation on all the features of the cars and what to expect, and finally encouraged to get my own feel for the cars. After driving the cars picked by the staff at SOUTHDALE MOTORS, I pulled the trigger and bought my first car, including the extended warranty. The owner even took me out for lunch as they were detailing the vehicle! When dealing with any major purchase, you want to talk to professionals that take the time and patience to ensure you make the right decision. I was given all the tools necessary to make that choice while making some trustworthy friends at the same time. Thanks guys, doughnuts are on me the next time I drop by.

Only cuz cant give a zero. Was ripped off by one of the former salesman. Now after owning car for a few years. Found out oil pan was not replaced. Instead they tried welding it instead of paying the 550 it now cost me. Replaced breaks an rotors within 6 months of owning it. Front headlights were replaced with the cheapest low quality lights instead instead of the proper ones. Owner did nothing to admit his wrong or try to help. Funniest part was one of his sons. I boight the car from. Will never deal with this establishment again.

Quite disappointed in this company. We signed our contract, got out veachle, and within an hour the engine light came on. They told us to take it into a shop at our own choosing to get it looked at. The shop fixed the blower motor and recharged the battery, and told us to come back if the engine light came back on. The light came back on within 2 days. So we made another appointment. They then found that a few gaskets we're snapped & rotten, so they fixed it. Now this company is saying that they don't know if they are able to cover the costs of the gaskets being fixed. This is absoulty redicuous. Like I said... the engine light came on an HOUR after we received the veachle... and we told them right away. I definitly do not recommend this company.

After driving my personal vehicle 45 min each way to look at a SUV they had listed for sale and have them look at mine I have put 4 calls in over a week span with requests for a call back from there finance guy with no call backs. For this reason they have lost me as a customer also as a place I would send any friends or family members looking for a new preowned vehicle.

If there was a negative star, I'd choose it. Stay clear of this dealership, both cars I financed were thru this place. Garbage cars, (After they tell you u will be so happy.. Nope.) They promise to "help" you, and then you never hear back from anyone. I was sold a Mazda CX7 from Southdale Motors, and I may as well be mortgaging a house for the price of repairs I've had to fork out. Do not finance a car at Southdale Motors, trust me something wrong will happen the vehicle. They also own 5 Star dealer so If your shopping around, be careful with that dealership as well. Please read!!
