Going from a 2009 to a 2018 there was alot that I needed to learn, he was patient and spoke with confidence. Also, as we were buying in the age of Covid-19 there were some things we had to wait on, and as soon as the items arrived I was notified by Matias. There's no money in recalls and Oakridge Ford knows it, but they'll try. They just completed my airbag recall. As I drive away, I wasn't even a block away and my car stalled at speed loosing power steering but not control thankfully. Looked at my paperwork to see what they had done. Tech notes "Car stalls in gear and hard to start".??? Was fine when I dropped it off this morning? Service attendant never mentioned it when I picked it up. Took it right back and was told right away the two issues, airbag and stalling at speed are unrelated and would I like to book a service appointment come Monday to diagnose the NEW issue. How about you disconnected the battery during the airbag recall and reset the computer in the process wiping the throttle body settings in the computer causing the rough idle and stalling issues. Stood my ground and called them on it (caught them red handed) and they replaced the throttle body at their expense (under an extended throttle body warranty they said). Its a 2011...please...just admit when you screw up. Or better yet when you know you've created another issue buy fixing something else. Then fix it and save yourself the embarrassment and the loss of a loyal customer. BTW just because you service my car and give a high quote doesn't mean I want to sell you my car and get endless calls from your sales department.

I bought a 2010 ford fusion at oakridge ford came with 5 free oil changes,they wont honor the last one even though the coupon says #5 of 5.Also I had my throttle body replaced as part of a recall,now the car uses waaay more fuel and idles too low.They quoted me 1hr labour to fix it!!!! They caused the issue and I have to pay for it.This is a horrible dealership with rude customer service on the phone and they talk down to you when you ask any questions.I will be going to highbury ford from now on or st thomas ford if needed.This has been my dealership for over 30 years.......not any more.

What a Truck buying experience should be like.... PERIOD! My Wife and I walked into Oarkidge Ford, and walked out with a Brand New F-150 FX4 loaded to the MAX. (I wish i could have attached a pic, coz you would have notice that our big smiles out shined the trucks brilliant white gleam) We actually walked into the dealership to look at a used FX4, but it was sold prior to us getting there, so Jake talked us into getting into a brand new one.. knowing that it was not in our budget, we entertained the figures anyways.. We're not sure what magic this young man did.. but he came though on his word, on doing everything in his power .. (and the higher powers that be) to make our purchase work. Thats just the first half of the story... coz just when we though that it couldn't get any better, we were thrown in front of another gentleman by the name of Jesse Bruder (aside from having the name of a Hollywood Action Movie STAR) Jesse Bruder, was the financial guru who worked out all the numbers, and made it all make sense to me. (I am NOT a numbers guy by the way) Anyways all in all, we picked up our Truck today, and both our heros were there to wish us well, and send us on our way.. in our Shiny NEW White FX4, FULLY LOADED... Including that tail gate step thing in the back. This was my first truck, my first brand new car... and my first dealership experience, and I would like to say KUDOs I hope everybody and anybody comes to this dealership, and meets the fine ppl that work there. People I spoke to on phone and in person were fantastic, friendly, polite, and helpful. Received my car back from a recall service and the seat, radio, and steering wheel were not returned to my specifications. Also seems someone went through some materials I had left in car. Additionally, the service was to take 2 hours but wasn't ready for 7 hours with no proactive communication on the delay. Will not return.

First, see their reply to Michael Simmons below and you will know what kind of service they will provide. Nothing to say about their sales department, its kinda YMMV thing. My sales rep is fine I would say. However, when you deal with their service people, you will see what is impolite(accurately, RUDE). In London area, there are 3 ford dealers, the other two are way better than Oakridge. To make your life happier and easier, get rid of this place.

Went for scheduled oil change. Met by a service advisor with a smile. Told me it would be a hour and an hour later I was told my vehicle was ready. The general manager made a point of coming up and saying Hi to me while I was waiting. The staff are always approachable. Great people makes a great dealership.

Shattered Nerves

Ordered a used OEM transmission for one that died in an 11 year old Mustang - the used one died LITERALLY the next morning. Ordered a NEW OEM transmission - turns out it was built incorrectly from the factory - they received, unpacked, inspected, installed and delivered it without noticing it was assembled incorrectly from the factory. Gave us nothing but a hassle over the requests for service and it turns out - the NEW OEM transmission was broken to begin with, but they shoved it in and handed it over without a care in the world - because who cares about quality? Who knew I was driving a potential death-trap for months before it started acting up. Now I'm without a vehicle for weeks without a loaner ("sorry, don't have any" - erm, excuse me? you sell vehicles, right?) while they play "figure out which arm of the FORD corporation can pay for it" while I freeze my tush off at the bus stop to get groceries, go to work, and fork over taxi money to shuffle my family around and meet my obligations. Thanks for endangering the lot of us with your careless mistakes and then screwing me over further by leaving us in at the curb in the dead of winter. Never again, FoMoCo. My family members spent over 100 person-years over multiple generations building Ford products and Oakridge Ford did away all with any pride left in that legacy. Quality ain't job #1 no more. #NoMoFoMoCo

I waited in the showroom for 10 minutes and no one greeted me or came up to me, until Norm came out of one of the back rooms and immediately greeted me and brought me over to his desk. I wouldn't even take a bicycle to this place for service. Horrible service with a shady manager. You could start by paying me the money for the overpriced battery you charged me when all that was wrong was a loose ground wire. The service manager told me he would reimburse me if I left a four star review for his department. He told me he would mail the cheque out the next day. I think that was close to a year ago. I was in an accident on January 16th. I immediately took my vehicle to Oakridge Ford for an estimate of which Matt Polci was very happy to give me. The accident was not my fault and the other insurance company was happy to take care of it. I then did not hear from Matt and had to call him two weeks after the fact. I left him a message and then again as I could never seem to get him. After a few more attempts I finally got through. I was to drop off my truck on the 20th of February. More than a month had passed. I had asked Matt about a separate quote for some previous damage that I wanted repaired and he gave me one. I then did not hear from the dealership until February 27th. I went and picked up the vehicle on the 28th. The other damaged I had asked about was not fixed. Clearly, if he was unsure he should have contacted me. No one there to great me as to whether or not I was pleased with the job and my truck was not locked and the lights for my sound system are not working. I can't say it was bad service because it was no service. I also in January went to the parts department to see about a long overdue recall that Ford Motor company issued 2 years ago. I have spoken with head office several times who tells me this is the largest recall in automotive history involving the airbag. I spoke to Dino and Oscar who assured me they would look into it and get back to me. I am still waiting. Should the airbag deploy in my truck it will send shrapnel everywhere and quite possibly kill me or any passenger I may have. I know several non Ford owners that have had their's replaced. Again, no service. I was really looking forward to purchasing the new Ranger next year as I drive Ranger now. However, I am sure there is someone out there that would like to take my money and maybe even give service. Carmen Wilson

Radio silence! I tried to book a service appointment 4 times over 2 weeks and couldn't get anyone on the phone. I left 2 messages which were not answered. On one occasion I had to call back twice after being disconnected by the switch board. Ultimately, I booked service at a different location (they picked up the phone on the third ring).

I’ve changed my oil at this place on February 11th. So oil changes need to be done every 6 months or every 8000km. They put on a sticker for next oil change due on June 11th. That’s isn’t 6 months. Next oil change should be due on August 11th. They try scamming like this thinking you would’ve forgot the last date when you changed your oil. I called last week to set an appointment for the oil change and when I figured that it hasn’t been even close to 6 months yet, I called to cancel the appointment. The employee seemed to get mad that I figured it out and just said “Ok” and hung up the phone. Lol. What a rude .....

I met with John to take a look at a truck I saw on the dealer site. He pointed me at another F150 that I hadn't considered because it didn't have a hitch on it. He explained that most F150's are equipped with tow packages even if they don't have a hitch yet. He showed me where the trailer hook up was already and how to switch it to tow mode. The truck met all of my requirements and then some for a better price than the one I was originally going to look at. He was able to get the hitch added to the truck and delivered within a week. I was very very happy with the way I was treated like a member of the Oakridge family. There was no pressure, just education which I appreciate. When I look for my next vehicle I will only purchase it from John and Oakridge Ford.

The salespersons at Oakridge Ford are very nice when selling you the vehicle but as soon as you sign the sale agreement they leave you in the lurche. They don't offer any assistance past that point of the deal. I feel this is totaly and utterly unacceptable hence the large amount of money spent on my truck. Also the Service Dept is absolutely daft once you actually purchase the vehicle. They make you think it's all fine and dandy until you actually need their service and then they show absouley no regard whatsoever for Customer Service! After being in Courtesy Ford Lincoln where I purchased my new truck, I greatly appreciated all the service that I received. My salesperson was very knowledgeable and helpful and everyone else on the team was super reassuring. That includes the Service Dept with their wonderful staff.

Service here is fine, but the staff really isn't that good. They made me take an Uber last time I was here because they weren't offering shuttle services. They told me to pay for it and they'd reimburse me, which was offered when I booked my appointment on the phone for this appointment. It's been a year and after speaking to multiple people, nobody has gotten back to me except for people at the call center, who direct me back to this location and I've yet to have anyone get back to me. There's still a mask mandate in effect but apparently that's not enforced here, as multiple staff walk through the waiting area maskless and are probably in the cars maskless based on what I've seen from mechanics. I booked here again because I needed an oil change and was hoping things would be better. The Uber incident came up during booking my appointment again when I asked if shuttles were available due to having to take an Uber last time, and I was again directed to contact here, to which still, nobody has gotten back to me. I will only be using this Ford from now on if the other London location is closed, as I had exceptional service there compared to here, and am willing to drive the extra 10 minutes next time I need something done to my car

Instead of informing me of this and asking if I would like it repaired, they just weren't ahead and patched my tire and then charged me $30 for this unauthorized repair. Came to the dealership to see a car with a very low advertised price at a reputable car sales website. I called them as soon as I saw the ad and had them know that I was coming from a 1.5 hour drive from where I am coming from. I came there and was about to sign the bill of sale until I saw the price was upped by $1000. The sales person arguement are as follows; 1) "Their system did not change." I still had the ad open from the same day that advertised the original price I saw prior to scheduleing my test drive, but when the same ad was refreshed, it has now the new updated higher price. The sales person claim they are not aware of this change with two conflicting reasons; a) the person who made the price change is not in on that day b) it is not recorded in their system. 2) "The safety/e-test was not included in the orignal price I saw." The supposdely value of all the add-ons to be included int the safety/e-test on this vehicle was $2500 but they are only charging the customers $1000 hence the higher sale price. So what happened next: I had accused them of an illegal tactic called "bait and switch" and that was when they started negotiating a price. We agreed upon a deal, basically with the same original price I saw on the car, plus a reduced by 50% warranty. To cover themselves, they made me sign a waiver that we had agreed upon and compromised on a deal. Nonetheles, this dealership is VERY SHADY and would advise people to not come here. But it does not end there: In addition to the above experience, the supposedly $2500 value safety and e-testing should have included new tires, calipers, rotors, and wipers but I came to pick up the vehicle with only new tires and brake pads. Their claim was that the safety and e-testing showed that these are the only ones that needs replacing. So much for a $2500 value safety/e-testing. And like many new cars, they undergo interior and exterior detailing prior to the customer picking them up. They told me during my test drive that the car will go through these detailing upon my purchase which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, as the weather was gloomy the day I picked up the vehicle, I only noticed the swirl marks on the exterior panels and grime on the interior a few days later after picking up the car. I gave them a call to inquire about this and they claim the car's panels was thoroughly polished and the interior was cleaned as fast as possible - sure, the interior was cleaned 'as fast as possible' hence the leftover grime, but polished exterior panels? Definitely BS. All this trouble and they had the face to offer a $1400 rust proof protection (which supposedly include top notched "detailing" and wax protection) and a $400 window tinting service (self claimed their personell to be the best). Just a tip to anyone purhcasing a car; you can purchase rust protection at a reputable rust protection shop for $100 to $200 (depending on vehicle size), get a properly waxed car with "PROPER or ACTUAL" detailing for as a low as $200, and window tinting at reputable tinting shops for $150. Very unreal experience and I HIGHLY advise people who read this to not car shop at Oakridge Ford.

It was one of my worst experiences, I took my Lincoln for trunk service (diagnostic) and some recalls. From 10:00 am to 5:00 pm they couldn’t find what’s the issue is and did nothing with the recalls. She said I will recive a call at 12:00 if there’s any updates. However they tried to program the module for 32 minutes and put it aside for 6 hours without doing any diagnostic and after 7 hours they informed me that it required another diagnostic. Results: I wasted 1 full day for nothing and I think they don’t care enough about customers.

I purchased a used ford fusion a year ago Upon arrival to inspect it the tire was flat so I couldn't take it for a test drive (I had to drive from Windsor and it was the only day off I could get) First few issues The compressor had a leak so when they filled it with freon it only lasted two weeks later in the summer without ac They didn't cover the ac after I took it to a Ford dealership to have it inspected for them to find it did have a leak. Had to replace all 6 front ball joins, drivers heated seat needs a new heating element, drivers door lock is broken. Rims were beat up, bad seals in the wheel well so rust is now a major problem I have to deal with fast. The salesman was very kind and drove it 2 hours outside of London for me to pick it up and it is absolutely my fault for buying the car. Also way overpriced. Everything that needed to be fixed or needs to be fixed will cost 1.5x what the car was worth Just beware, if you don't know to look for everything they will scam you :/

They don't own up to their mistakes and have brushed me off repeatedly. Last February 2021, I brought my 2018 Ford Focus SEL Hatchback to have the right side light repaired due to condensation build up. This was covered under warranty as the vehicle was under 60,000 kms. I was told the part was ordered but no action happened. I brought the vehicle in multiple times to have it checked and finally it was serviced and to my dismay, Oakridge Ford replaced my working light (the left side light). I returned to show them that the incorrect light was fixed and was brushed off repeatedly. I waited nearly 6 months to have the light replaced and in that long period of time I went over 60,000kms. So now they won't correct their mistake and claim I need to pay the full amount to fix the light that was supposed to be fixed in the first place under warranty. The sad part is that it's so obvious which light is damaged and that no one second guessed it while fixing it. The service member I've dealt with has repeatedly never gotten back to me and claims that I told them the "left side" light was broken. Regardless, they are supposed to be professionals who assess the vehicle before ordering parts. I have a work order that specifically says right side light and I came in 3 times to show them exactly the problem. I'm incredibly disappointed by the service I have received at Oakridge Ford (on multiple occasions not just this). I will never purchase or have my vehicle serviced there ever again.

Disgusted. April 20th, 2020, took my car in for service, they are not offering shuttle service for which I was NOT informed of over the phone when making the appointment or in several e-mail confirmations of my said appointment for 8:00am. While I understand that these are unprecedented times with the COVID-19 outbreak and that the service centers may be understaffed and upon arrival to my scheduled oil change, I noticed signs posted of instructions on safe procedure, where to leave my vehicle and drop off keys, but after speaking with an associate who just happened to be walking through the parking lot at the time, informed me that for safety concerns they were not allowing people inside in the waiting area also there was no shuttle service or loaner vehicles available and that patrons are welcome to stand and wait in the parking lot for my vehicle or find my own arrangements to get back to my home on the other side of the city, but assured me that because I made the appointment and that because that it was just an oil change that it wouldn't take long for them to get me in and out so I agreed to wait for my service to be completed. After approximately 2 hours of waiting and no update on the status of my vehicle, I inquired about my vehicle to a different service center associate who just happened to be in the area at the time, who then informed myself and other patrons with similar appointments and inquiries, that what we thought were "appointments" for service were instead "vehicle drop-off time" and that vehicles would be taken in when they are able also if you did NOT write down that you were in the parking lot waiting for your scheduled service to be completed that my vehicle is not high on their list of priorities and there was nothing they could do to compensate for the inconvenience, even despite showing the employee my several confirmation e-mails where NONE of the details he just gave me are listed or the pictures I took of the safe procedure instructions on-site that also did NOT display the information the employee had just given to myself and several other patrons there at the time. 3 hours into my wait and still no update on my vehicle I decided to call about my inquirie and after 30 minutes finally able to speak with a less than helpful manager (Cody) who upheld the ideal that there is nothing they could do to compensate for the inconvenience, but informed me he would look into the status of my vehicle, and finally after 3 hours and 45 minutes a mechanic came out to parking lot to inform me that I need more than just an oil change and that my vehicle would need to be kept until the next day. So now I am out of pocket to get home across the city and to come pick up my vehicle when my service is actually completed. As I said before I understand that during this uncertain time that businesses may be understaffed but I was under the impression that when I made an "appointment" for a service to be done, I would go in on the scheduled time and date and proceed as planned, not have to wait 3 hours 45 minutes standing in the middle of a busy parking lot on a chilly morning not even able to sit or use a washroom, just for an update on what was originally just supposed to be an oil change. This is not the first time that Oakridge Ford, London ON, has provided less than exceptional customer service with no form of compensation for their own incompetence where something as simple as a free oil change upon my next service or even to offer to pay for my cab ride home would have sufficed. Upon speaking with other patrons who shared similar and worse experiences with that establishment added with my experience today, I can confidently say I will no longer be conducting business at that location.

I was just in here today for my standard oil change only to find out the cost of my standard oil change has changed from $55 out the door to $76. For those following along, that is near a 30% increase in cost. Nothing was said about this before hand, as I was told at time of payment this was due to the new ownership (Some conglomerate from Windsor) taking over and raising all the prices. Needless to say, I think I am officially done with dealing with Oakridge Ford from this point forward.

Last I was there was giving back a lease over a year ago and every single employee was unpleasant and rude. Even those that had no reason to get involved found ways to get involved and say something unnecessary and rude. There was some ridiculous charges as well when giving the car back but I called them to dispute some of it...they reduced it maybe $50 but I didn't have the energy to continue the battle. Good news though if I got another car from them they wouldn't have charged me anything! I didn't and moved on.

I want to preface this testimonial with the general acknowledgement that I am not an avid internet troll who reviews every organization - in fact this will be my first ever review and I genuinely hope that it will provide some guidance and direction to others when purchasing their first vehicle. For those wanting the short version, the staff at Oakridge Ford did everything in their power to withhold vehicle information. I will admit, I made the mistake of disclosing that I was a first-time buyer - Oakridge Ford used this information against me, something I did not expect out of a licensed dealership. Below is a summary of my purchasing experience: • Oakridge Ford assured me that the winter tires I was purchasing had 2-3 years of life in them, however during the first snowfall my car could not make it up the gentlest of hills. After fearing that I had purchased an expensive paperweight, I brought the car into my garage and was informed that the winter tires had been fully worn out. I subsequently had to spend $1,000 to purchase a new pair. • My car was promised to be delivered 2 days after the deposit was paid. On the expected date of deliverance it was brought to my attention that it would require an extra day. The following day I was notified that it would require 2 more days. I then had to leave for a week on a business trip. When I returned the following week, I sat at the dealership for four hours waiting for the vehicle to be completed. • Upon delivery (and after a week of waiting), the vehicle had noticeable scratches, and multiple paint chips, many of which were not on it before. • When attempting to escalate all of the aforementioned issues, the Vice President - John Loughlean – called me a “kid” multiple times (I’m 24). He proceeded to throw his mustang in my face saying that I could drive that for the day if I wanted (I’m assuming as a form of compensation). • I asked that I be compensated ($500 off the purchase price) for the general lack of quality of the car and the expenses affiliated with the late delivery - the days I spent missing work and the multiple Uber rides to and from the dealership. The Vice President - John Loughlean – took the matter personally saying that it was too late and that I had already signed the paperwork. He called me a child a few more times, and stormed off (the irony). • After driving the vehicle for a week now, the cruise control function does not work and various internal dashboard lights are out. None of this information had been disclosed prior to the purchase. • Prior to the purchase, Oakridge Ford reassured me that they would be transparent in identifying any vehicle health/maintenance issues, so I went ahead and booked the car in with their garage/maintenance team. Instead of leveraging their experience and notifying me of anything wrong, the vehicle maintenance lead handed me a flashlight and said “here you go, tell me if you see anything wrong”. While I acknowledge that this is a sales tactic it is also incredibly deceptive – lulling the consumer into a false sense of confidence. After reading some of the other reviews, it is unfortunate that this is not a standalone incident. Oakridge Ford’s lack of customer service and willingness to do whatever it takes to make a sale is disappointing. John’s lack of professionalism (specifically his ability to yell at a customer in front of a sales representative) is poor business practice and sets a bad precedent for his internal staff. As my first experience purchasing a vehicle, this could not have been more poorly handled. Nevertheless it has taught me what to look for down the road and hopefully I can pass that wisdom along. If you intend to purchase a vehicle from Oakridge Ford, remember to equip yourself with as much vehicle knowledge as possible. Test everything, understand what the traction on the tires should look like, ensure all components/features of the vehicle function as expected, and remember to bring it into your own garage before signing anything. I cannot express how happy and relieved I was at the service and care at Oakridge Ford: sales person Anthony Propadalo, Service man Brandon Lilley and especially from Mechanic Matt Brown. I walked in to the Ford dealership with an F150 and SS-1200 Palomino truck-camper. This combination was not functioning with my truck (needing a 7-pin trailer connector and ultimately a bigger truck) the day before a long holiday weekend. From that moment on I received great care and service in helping finding the right solution for me. I was not given the correct advise when purchasing my original F150 truck for my truck-camper. The F150 didn't have the correct load capacity. Brandon and Matt saw the situation immediately and then spent a lot of time with me discussing and looking over the truck, brainstorming how to solve the problem. Upgrading my truck turned out to be the best option for my situation (particularly as I wanted to take this truck to the Yukon). Anthony Propadalo, the sales person took over. He was sympathetic to my situation and worked very hard to find me an F250 that fit what I needed. And Matt and Brandon were working behind the scenes to find the cheapest price for all necessary fixtures needed to fit the camper onto the truck. A week and a half later Matt was there to switch the truck camper from the F150 to F250 and go the extra mile to ensure we were happy. I couldn't express enough to him my thanks. I really felt that I was being taken care of at this Ford dealership. Anthony, was understanding and communicative and Matt was knowledgeable and very giving. And everyone worked as a team! I am now off to the Yukon with a solid, sturdy, and safe vehicle...truck-camper and all!

Ordered winter tires and scheduled an appointment for them to be installed. I had been in the waiting room for 2hrs before they informed me they didnt have the tires and denied that i ordered them. I still had my quote which they quoted me the wrong tire size. They then ordered them and said they could install the same day so when i got a call to come back it took another 3hrs to install my tires. When i went to pay they were annoyed that I had asked for a discount considering i had been there all day for something that shouldve taken 1hr. Wont be going back after this experience.

I was lucky to get away from this scam. My Ford Flex went in for lock sensors that were malfunctioning. The doors were closed but the display would show and beep constantly showing that the door was still open. My car was dropped off first thing in the morning and I was shuttled home shortly after. I was called from service late afternoon and advised that the sensors needed to be removed and cleaned. This process would take 2 hours and between parts and labor it would cost just under $300. My car had just under 62,000kms and the warranty would only cover till 60,000kms so I was advised that I was no longer covered even though my car had gone in for the same issues, under warranty, months before. When I was told the process and price, I told the service advisor not to bother doing the work and that I would look into doing it myself. I was told that the car could be picked up any time and the conversation ended. I was called back 10 minutes later by the same rep and was told that he went to speak to his supervisor and after looking into the matter, they found out that the problem IS covered thru warranty and that I can go and get the car in 20min! So, when I was paying for the service, it was 2 hours of work but when I said to forget it, all of a sudden its covered and it only took 20 minutes??!! In all fairness, i'm not sure if it was the service rep, manager or Ford itself that trains their reps to scam customers this way and over-charge customers for something that is covered and does not require the hours billed. Since that appointment, which was only a few months ago, I still have the same issue. Its obvious that a cleaning is not the issue and I strongly encourage other customers to investigate the issues before agreeing to pay whatever they’re told over the phone.

My husband and I stopped in to check out what they had in their bargain lot for a "winter" car and the guy that came back to "help" us was horrendous. We will never shop at this dealership ever. If you're looking for a good Ford dealership we recommend Highbury Ford 100%. The guy came back in a silver Honda pick up truck. He didn't actually get out of the truck at all and then said "what do you want?" This of course startled my husband and I since this is not the customer service we have grown accustomed to at our dealership, my husband responds with "looking for some info on these 2 SUVs". The guy turns around and says "the price is on the windshield". I am still in utter disbelief at how unprofessional and lack of courtesy this "customer service" person displayed. If you ever pull into this dealership and a middle aged, tan man with dark hair who smacks his gum while he speaks tries to help you, you should turn around and walk out right then and there.

GREAT PLACE TO BUY A CAR! Don't get me wrong it is a great dealership, and I do love my car, but WOW how bad can you gouge a person til you force them away..to put it simply I have been quoted (so far in total) over 1500 dollars in repairs to my car, not being specific as to not identify these problems and identity because people can be spiteful when it comes to a bad review, but honestly you have dropped the ball when it comes to servicing your own vehicles.The good thing is that I use this dealership to maintain my warranty and that is it and forever will be IT, the repairs needed to be done to my car that were quoted at OVER 1500 dollars have so far cost me 200$ in parts and 1 hour of labor at 100 dollars...what does that equal? my most recent "quote"was also substantial but with a simple google search I have spent 20 dollars on a part that ANYONE can install and order off amazon on their own and eliminate a defective part of their vehicle (which turns out is quite common but no recall?) anyway be smart when you are quoted ANY price at any dealership (not this one specifically) Like I said great people work here and do their jobs great but honestly do your research and save yourself some cash! This is what the review process is here for, if your car is not front to back coverage then search elsewhere for your repairs because dealerships are just THERE. This is not an ad but I recommend Dean Watson Auto repair for any of your basic needs up to a certain year make and model. If you are not sure what "basic" describes than please give him a call and get a quote and be more than pleasantly surprised. Please read and keep and eye on this review and never ever believe that the acronym OEM is a word that dictates anything when it comes to your financial well being.

UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO OWNER COMMENT: This is a blatant lie and you are well aware of it. The sound was produced with your tech in the car twice. Once at 130 km/hr (tech produced) and once at 90km/hr (when my husband went with the tech and drove the car). It is also intermittent at 60 km/hr. We provided steps to reproduce it at a higher speed as it's more consistently present, it did not need to be driven at a high speed to hear the issue. I hardly think 60-90 km/hr constitutes unsafe driving. No one ever informed us that the hotline proposed such a proposterous explanation of the issue...please explain why you continued to tell us that the "hotline had not responded to your request and it was their fault".. I don't think any car is suppose to grind when switching a gear, it seems maybe your vehicle was made in an unsafe manner. Our purchase experience was wonderful. Mike is an amazing salesman! However, the service department is another story. I have never experienced such poor customer service in all of my years owning car. We purchased a 2018 Mustang in March, 2018. Shortly after my husband noticed a grinding when it would shift into 4th gear. It was brought into the dealership for investigation the first time in May to have it assessed. When we received the car and work order back we noticed iced what we went in for wasn't even addressed! We brought the car back again, this time with recorded audio of the file just in case they couldn't hear it during testing. Tech took it out and reproduced the issue. Heard it, documented it. Gave them the audio file. Waited and waited to find out what was going to be done. No reply. Finally after about 2 weeks of phone/email someone answered saying that they needed to have us bring the car in to reproduce the issue so they could identify it....which had already been done and documented. They said they didn't do anything with the audiofile. It was too big to send to the warranty people, so they didn't use it. My husband said he'd happily resize it. Nope, needed another "reproduction" .This time it was requested to be done in the presence of the service manager and tech. Contacted to set up appointment, ignored for another 2 weeks. Then told the tech was on vacation. Waiting another week or so. Went in. Went on a test drive with the one tech. No manager. Tech acknowledged issue. Heard it, documented. Waited for follow up. Nothing. Emailed( we were advised by manager Amber to only email) Got a response approximately 2 weeks later saying we need to bring the car in to reproduce the issue!!!! After admitting defeat here we said fine, when can we bring it in this week. Then we were told the tech was on vacation so we'd have to wait. Again. At this point it's getting ridiculous. They obviously have zero idea what's wrong with the car and we are getting the run around from the dealership. I called today to make an appointment with a competing dealerships (Courtesy Ford) to see if they can provide some support with this issue. They've already set us up with a transmission specialist for Tuesday of next week. That's more than then Oakridge Ford has done in 3 months! You may have a great experience with the sales, but be warned, if your car has an issue, your going to have trouble. Save yourself the time, frustration, and headache and buy somewhere else.

I bought my vehicle new there and it was the worst experience ever. Oakridge Ford acts like your supposed to thank them for being on their lot. A horrible sales lady with a Justin Bieber haircut didn't want to honor the advertised price and got very confrontational. I think "her" name was Kelly. The only reason I bought the vehicle was because the knocked a couple thousand dollars off the price because of the horrible sales "lady". To this day "she" has never apologised and I don't expect an apology anytime soon. I will be getting this vehicle maintained at another Ford dealership and will NEVER buy a vehicle from Oakridge Ford again. On my January 13-14 visit, Brandon Lilley was extremely professional and very helpful. On January 3rd I had the Escape in to have the cabin cooler pump replaced and dealt with Amber Holmes at that time and once again, she was very patient, professional and helpful. On both occasions I was advised that the necessary work was out of warranty but both Erin and Brandon were able to somehow manage it so that the work was covered by Ford. This was certainly not an expectation on my part and quite honestly a welcomed surprise. Had an appointment with an employee named Zack to check out some cars in the price range of about 10k. The appointment was at 1 and he came out and assured me at 1:05 that he’d only be a few minutes as he was finishing up with a customer. 2:00 came around and I got up to just go check out some of the cars in the lot on my own. I waited until about 2:30 and then finally left, only to have him call me at 3:00 (two hours after our originally scheduled time) asking where I went. I told him I left because the appointment was 2 hours ago and I had other things I needed to attend to. After calling me for a week straight, I finally answered his call and told him that to make someone wait for that long without notice for the sake of a bigger sale was extremely unprofessional and made me feel like I was not a priority. He didn’t apologize, instead using the fact that it was “a busy time” as a scapegoat. I told him that for future reference to give some heads up if he’s going to be late, to which he talked over me and eventually hung up on me mid sentence. Completely slimy sales rep who doesn’t care about the customer and wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone so long as that particular employee is there.

Bought a used car there. When negotiating with Adam, I pointed out some scratches on the car. Adam said, don’t worry. We will buff them out. They never even tried to remove them. Lied and said they will not come out. Then we picked up the car there was only 1 key. Claimed that was normal. Never in life bought a car with only 1 key. They should have disclosed that when buying the car. They wanted $300 for replacement key. Then $100 for key with no remote door locks. Finally gave the key, when I complained about all the lying.

Last week I purchased a preowned Ford from Oakridge that I am very pleased with. My salesperson, Matias, was great in helping with the deal. He was personable, knowledgeable about the vehicle and attentive to making my experience positive for me. When I expressed dissatisfaction with the way the first offer came out of a sales managers office ( it was a mix of print and magic marker, contained $500 worth of add ons and no real incentive for me to continue) Matias worked to change that around. The next day he had a new professionally done offer which showed that Oakridge wanted me as a customer and the deal was made. Matias had the service dept.take care of some concerns and the pickup went smoothly with Matt in service putting the car on the hoist for me to inspect. Brandon in the sales office did the final paperwork in a professional, low pressure manner. I would recommend Matias as a very good person to deal with. May 11th 2019. Wow. This is new in my experience. You finalize the deal only to find out at signing that manager is trying to scam you by intentionally omitting part of the deal. What an honorable conduction of business. Not only that he disrespected me and wasted my time but he put his sales person in such an awkward position. I can avoid this dealership and so can everybody else but shouldn't the honesty and given word mean something regardless of importance of the profit. I think in the end word is way more important but some people don't know what honor is.

I was told by my mechanic that my car was done and it was time for a new one. Not financially prepared for a new car I started looking anyways. I went to Oakridge Ford to look at a used car that I had found online. I met up with Karl who was the most friendly and outgoing salesman. We went for a drive and he spoke about the features and really had my interest. The car wasnt for me as it was missing a few things that I needed for my car so we began to look at brand new vehicles. We looked at the fiesta and went for a drive. He was very enthusiastic about the car which made car shopping enjoyable where I felt no pressure to buy a car after the test drive. Since I needed a ner car within that week I went with the Fiesta and Karl helped me take care of everything along the way. The receptionist was great to deal with in regards to a deposit I placed and even scheduling my next visit. I was not financially ready for this car but the financing department here at Ford did everything in their abilities to get me a great interest rate. I received several calls that night with updates on the progress and an overall excited phone call when I got approved for financing with a really good rate. I was extremely impressed. When I came in to make my purchase final I had my name on a welcome sign for my appointment which made it very a friendly atmosphere. I would buy my next car from here in a heart beat. They say dont go to a dealership and get a new car if you have un-perfect credit, but with people like this going out of their way to get you a car when they know how much you deserve and need it is my idea of customer friendly. Oakridge Ford is great in all ways and I recommend them to anyone looking for a great car, with great pricing and staff that make it an easy experience.

I started taking my car into Oakridge Ford after the poor experience I had at Highbury Ford, and haven't looked back since. I had a poor experience at Highbury Ford that left a sour taste in my mouth when it came to servicing vehicles at a dealership, but had to take my car in regarding warranty, so I decided to take it into Oakridge Ford. I will say, the service is great every time. The customer service and communication is great, where I am contacted regarding any work done to my car, including if my car may take a little longer at the shop (this was a huge issue at Highbury Ford where I had to constantly call about my car). On top of friendly customer service, they are very prompt in returning calls or any questions I may have, and their lounge and shuttle drivers make the experience comfortable. Although I have to drive across the city to take my car into Oakridge Ford, compared to being 5 min. away from Highbury Ford- it is well worth it, as I have always been treated well at Oakridge Ford. I highly recommend this dealership if you're looking at servicing your Ford vehicle.

I'm very satisfied with their schedule maintenance services ---- in addition to the Ford The work package, they also offer a "rotation excluded but everything else are the same as The Work " version with lower price (the technician told me that I only need to rotate my tires once per year). The service was well-done and I received same checking report as The work package in the end. It's also worth noting that the friendly technician will give advice only based on the condition of your car rather than sell you things you don't need.

I give everybody at Oakridge Ford 5 stars and Kelly gets 10. I had a lot of decisions to make suddenly at the end of June when my beloved 16 year old Malibu was given a death sentence. I was totally unprepared because it had low mileage, was running well and still looked handsome but was rusted underneath. We were open to buying or leasing. We went to three different dealerships, (Honda and Hundai) and it was the Ford Escape Titanium lease that won the day. Buyers Beware Buying a new vehicle is always a daunting task when you are a woman, but never could I have imagined the lack of ethics practiced at Oakridge Ford just to secure a deal. Widowed in the last two years, the prospect of purchasing a car on my own was not an endeavor that I was looking forward to. Once I had decided on the vehicle I wished to purchase, the task then became whom could I trust to purchase it from. A young man who had grown up with my son had just gained employment with Oakridge Ford in London. My thoughts were what a perfect opportunity as he would gain a sale and I would have the comfort of someone I could trust. As it turned out, the sales manager had also been a local boy and I was assured that he had the outmost respect for my family and would give me the best price and experience possible. After a ten week wait, I was informed that the new vehicle was ready for pick up. Upon inspection, I discovered that the panels on either side of the hood were both flawed. I informed sales and collision that I would not accept painted panels on a new vehicle purchase and would only agree to purchase the car if the panels were replaced with new factory panels. Eleven days later, I returned to pick up the vehicle under the assurance that the panels had been replaced and that I would be shown the old panels. When I asked where the other panels were, I was told that they were in the back shop. After many hours spent reviewing the financing due to initial misinformation, signing on what seemed a thousand dotted lines, I was told that I should purchase the rust proofing package as Ford vehicles were built with recycled materials and more prone to rust. Long story short, after the most horrific six hour car buying experience of my life, I rushed out forgetting to ask to see the panels. The following morning, I called Oakridge Ford asking for photos of the panels. Oakridge Ford could not produce these photos because they had never replaced the panels. What three employees at Oakridge Ford did was commit fraud. “For there to be fraud there must be dishonesty, or such recklessness as to truth as is tantamount to dishonesty. It is clear that for a party to be liable for fraudulent misrepresentation there must be evidence of knowledge that the representation was untrue, and an intent to defraud, or the absence of an honest belief in the truth of the representation.” Adding further insult to injury, the assistant general manager called me to inform me that I had been mislead, but then proceeded to inform me that their body work came with a lifelong warranty. That being said, there could be no justification for the fact that not only had I been lied to on three separate occasions, I could only make a claim on a lifelong warranty if I was made aware of it. Having run a successful small business with my husband for twenty-seven years before his death, built on integrity and customer service, it appalls me to think that this type of conduct is common practice at Oakridge Ford. Although, they have returned my deposit, I now am faced with the daunting task of shopping for a new dealership and negotiating a new deal. Tainted and very disappointed,

At first it seemed awesome. I came in to buy a used vehicle but they convinced me that a new truck was the way to go. Initially the price they verbally quoted me was about 31,000 with 0% interest and I was sold. Once the paperwork came out to finalize the deal, it turned out to be closer to 50,000. Don't get me wrong, I understand sales tactics etc., but the real problem came into play when I tried to back out of the deal... the sales pressure would not stop and they made me feel like I was a sucker and the DIRECTOR of the dealership threatened me that he did not have to return my deposit. The only reason I made a deposit in the first place, was because I was promised I could get it back if my insurance quote was not feasible, which is what happened. I went back first thing in the morning to cancel it, and they tried to "help me" again. Overall they used BAIT AND SWITCH tactics by lowering the bi weekly payment but extending the term to the point that I had to pay 10,000 more in the end. The extended term and interest was hidden in the fine print while the sales team kept trying to convince me that this is a deal like no other. Following these charades, I had the glorious experience of waiting over an hour to even speak with someone that could refund my deposit. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience compared to other dealerships I have dealt with in the past, forcing me to not recommend them. They are good at what they do by making you feel like you got a deal.

I bought my 2013 Focus almost 6 years ago. I had a great experience buying the car. Ted, my salesman, listened to me and helped me refine my tastes into what I eventually bought. He never pushed anything on me and was good about getting answers to questions I had. At no point did I feel there was anything sneaky or underhanded going on. With the exception of my first set of winter tires, I have exclusively had my vehicle only to Ford for service. I took it to Oakridge for 3.5 years before I moved 2 hours away. The service department at Oakridge Ford is top notch. They're responsive, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I do not recall ever having to wait more than 10 minutes for a shuttle, either. (Bit of a sidebar here: I am not fond of my two local Ford dealers. So much so that I drove two hours one way back to Oakridge Ford for them to perform a full brake service). If that isn't a testimonial, I don't know what is.

BUYER BEWARE!! This place is not worth a star. It was my first time buying a car and I had nobody to help me navigate through the process. I was hoping they will help me get the best I can afford. Was I mistaken! First they tried to sell me a car I did not even test drive yet. Then I was told I can afford the car and I cannot go shop around for another car because he worked really hard to get this deal and it will fall apart if I apply for another loan. Then they HAD to sell me rustproofing and extended warranty for 7 years because that is how long it will take to pay the car off. The rustproofing I was told bring it in every 2 years to be checked to keep the contract active.... well.... went back a few years later with rust and they informed me that I had to come every year for the check and it is not valid anymore AND they don't cover door jambs and wheel wells!! Imagine that? Then I get my car ready so they can do a warranty check and fix everything needed under warranty, AND GUESS WHAT? My warranty expired a year ago!! How do you buy a car with a 7 year warranty and then it ends 2 years before the car is paid off? I WAS TOLD THAT IF THE CAR WAS A YEAR OLD AND UNDER FACTORY WARRANTY THAT WHEN YOU BUY EXTENDED WARRANTY IT IS VALID FROM THE DATE THE CAR HIT THE ROAD, SO THAT WAS IN 2011 REGARDLESS OF THE FACT THAT I BOUGHT IT IN 2012????? FEEL FREE TO ASK CHARLES ABOUT THIS CRAZINESS!! I am very organized and know I did not hear them wrong. I am very unhappy with this company and I say BUYER BEWARE!! They will get you coming and going. All they want is your money! Damaged my car when they had to fix the air conditioner and scratched the windshield, took me 4 times going back to get it replaced, they did not believe me when I told them my car was pouring smoke into the cabin, had to turn the AC on and let him sit in the car and choke on the smoke first. What do I know, I am the woman they take advantage of and take your money and no service after. I will be taking this to the top, even if I have to travel to see the CEO of Ford. Never will I buy a Ford again!!

Recently purchased a 2019 Ford Ranger at Oakridge Ford. Twice our pick up of the truck was delayed due to parts being on back order. Unfortunately we were not informed until the day prior to. The first time we were told that pick up would not happen they offered to deliver the truck to us later in the week after they tracked down the part. The second time different parts were on back order I spoke with the sales Manager Mark Stewart. Mark listened to our complaints and assured me he would get back to me. Mark made the situation right for us but best of all he didnt flood us with "excuses". He took full responsibility as he said these things should never have happened and they would be addressed. Our salesman Mike stayed in contact with us throughout the process. We understand things can happen and this certainly was a lesson in the communication problems at the dealership. Again..Mark made sure to make things right. Overall yes I would recommend Oakridge Ford..there were bumps along the way but they were addressed and dealt with.

Ford credit said I needed to go through the dealership. Do not buy your car from this dealership! Completely unprofessional staff who do not value or care about their customers. Bought a truck from them, then the next day I was told they sold it to someone else. When I didn’t like a new truck they provided (which was much worse than the original one) manager Matt was the most unprofessional and rude individual I have ever dealt with, trying to make it seem like I was the problem. Followed up on commitments they made after I got my vehicle, emailed their accounting department for a month with no answer. Finally got into contact with my sales rep and I have now yet to hear back after 2 months. This dealership has no integrity and will do anything to take your money while providing terrible service - they do not care about their customers and I highly recommend you do not do business with them.

Started off very well. Now after 6 weeks of waiting for this deal to be finished I've had it. Now its just headache and aggravation. I had to run around the city all month doing work that you should have done. And now that you owe me money, nobody answers their phone, nobody returns message. Only way things get done is if I take time away from my shop to drive into the dealership so they have to deal with me. And I thought Highbury was bad. At least they didn't pull this stuff.

Dont buy a car from this guys. They change their words all the time. Posted a car for 15000 after 2 days they put a higher price 16800 . They wanted me to hold the car for 500 $ with no paper work or application form to reserve my right for refund. One of the worst experience . Buy from somewhere else even if you pay little bit more

The only Place I will go from now on! Was at another ford body repair for a rear end accident and they did an ok job but had to return as the paint chipped after the winter. Was rear ended this year and decided to try oakridge. The service there was amazing when I couldnt start my car one day after the accident ford towed it there to find it was a tcm that my car was on recall for. I had no idea, they fixed that. They arranged for my rental that I only had to go sign a page and drive away. Their work was great my bumper matched in color and looked as good as new. If you want a great body shop, come here the guys are friendly and awesome to work with.

Without dragging out the whole story. I took my fairly new car in today to get its first oil change. I wasn’t really due for awhile yet but since it was first oil change I thought I’d get it done a bit sooner. Service guy quoted me 48+taxes. But was later told the car requires semi synthetic oil. It was now going to cost 100$. I asked if they had drained the oil yet. At that price I’ll wait the 5k more I have on oil life. Service guy advises me the oil change had been done and they would honour original quoted price. That’s a stand up thing to do. They didn’t have to. They could have said sorry the car requires this oil. And it cost this much. But instead they chose to earn a new regular customer. Thank you Oakridge Ford John E

I honestly wish that I could give them more than 5 stars because they're so wonderful! I just picked up my new car and they were FANTASTIC! From the minute I walked in the door I felt comfortable, and that isn't always the case as a single gal! I was shopping around for cars at a few places, and ended up buying one that very day, because they made me feel so great! My salesperson Dennis is the best! He never made me feel pressured or uncomfortable, and he kept me informed throughout the whole process via text messages (which was great). I felt like I walked out, literally a member of someone's family. Even the dealership manager came out and shook my hand. Good customer service goes a long way with me! Ive dealt with this dealership for a couple years (since I bought a truck there). The purchase of my truck was a complete fiasco. My salesman was what you’d consider a stereotypical “shady sales guy”. I’m fairly certain he’s no longer there. I’ve heard they went under new management a year ago so hopefully they’ve fixed their sales tactics since then. Their service department is a complete chaos. In the past couple years we’ve dealt with the service department on 5 separate occasions. Twice our appointment was cancelled the day before the appointment. Once we showed up for the appointment and they forgot to call us to cancel. Once we picked up a part and part wasn’t in till the next day. Most recently (last week) I had to argue with the service receptionist. We had high hopes that things had changed since the new management took over. We kept trying to go there since they’re close to where we live. Needless to say, never again. Every interaction with them has been a complete sh*t show.

On our second vehicle from Oakridge ford. Under the new ownership we will not purchase a third. Customer service has dropped drastically. Our vehicle is less then two years old and has had two transmissions replaced. Every time I try to get an answer as to how many they are going to replace for us and what they are going to offer us on the next one I am faced with zero answers. Last time I was told "mam this is out of my pay grade". I could continue with a list of my neg experiences from this location but I won't bother they don't seem to care either. Sub-par customer service. Had an issue with a used car 3 weeks after purchase. My sales person acknowledged the issue and agreed to look after the problem, "If we need to cut a cheque, we will" are the exact words. Months went on and I heard nothing from service or sales about approval for the repair. Sales person stopped responding. Sales manager was involved and then he never returned calls either. I pursued this because my sales person said he would look after it, when it came down to executing his word, it meant nothing. If you weren't going to cover the cost of the repair then please say that, rather than ignoring my emails, texts and calls. I was just looking for a Yes or No even though it was understood to me that it was going to be covered. Oakridge Ford doesn't care about honesty or following up with customer inquiries. The sale was in my wife’s name. Silver 2016 Edge in April. Sold by Norman James. Brandon Marino and Mark Stewart were involved after the sale. Brandon responded and was helpful but Norm and Mark did not answer texts, phone calls or emails. Goes to show that they are only interested in the sale and not keeping customers.

If I could give Oakridge Ford 0/5 stars I would. Issue #1: The first issue with this dealership is first when I bought my vehicle, I should have ran then. I was sitting in the Business Manager's office setting up financing and was asked repeatedly to consider various extended warranties, maintenance packages, rust proofing etc. I politely declined these offers. At this point the Business Manager starting giving me attitude and was asking why I would not consider. This is where the fun starts. We had already agreed on a 60 month term financing. After I declined the aforementioned warranties, he FAKED receiving a phone call from Ford Credit Company. The phone did not even bloody ring. He then said "Oh that's too bad, I'll let him know." The guy then tells me that I have too poor of a credit score, and that I am forced to choose a 7 year 84 month finance option (complete utter BS, I know damn well there is not an issue with my credit score). I told him I'm not buying the vehicle and that I'm leaving, so he FAKES another phone call, and claims Ford Credit Company made a mistake and I'm approved for the initial offer. Issue #2: I had a recall mailed to me 1-2 years ago. I have called Oakridge Ford numerous times to have to recall completed, to which they state, "We don't have any parts in for that recall, it's on back order". They have told me this 3 separate times, several months apart each time. I finally gave up and called another Ford Dealership outside of the city (Highbury Ford was no help either) and they booked me within 1 week to have the recall completed, no questions asked. In summary, Sales experience at Oakridge Ford was horrible. Service was equally as rotten. Please do not consider giving this dealership your business, they do not seem to care about their customers in any capacity.

Just had a terrible experience with the service department. I went in to have my vehicle safety done, knowing that some work would be required especially in regards to an electrical issue. I figured if anyone would be well equipped to identify an electrical issue on a ford it would be the Ford Dealership with all the specialized tools. I dropped the car off at 8am and explained to the service technician the extent of the electrical issue to my knowledge and the need to diagnose it in regards to a safety. All seemed well, and they said they would contact me when the vehicle report was ready. When I got their call in the afternoon they walked me through the work needed some of which was news to me but I expected they would find some things. However, they mentioned nothing about the electrical issue which affects the power steering a necessary component to pass a safety. They said they would go talk to the technician who checked the car to inquire about that. When they called me back they told me that a completely different "electrical Diagnosis" would be needed to check electrical problems. Why would they not have told me that in the beginning! So they informed me that they didn't feel good charging me for the safety 125$ and would bump it down to an airline check 99$. The electrical diagnosis is another 145$ check. I would have been more than happy to pay the 145$ to start with so that they could actually diagnosis the main issue in place of the safety. When I went to pick up the car the service rep who I had been dealing with passed me on to someone else because they clearly didn't want to deal with a frustrated customer. The new person rang up the bill which was over a 145$. What happened to a 99$ airline check. Again I had to self advocate and tell the new rep that I was told it would be an airline inspection. That person went ahead and reprinted the bill. After paying they told me I would be emailed a survey to rate my experience and give feedback. I could do that if they had my email (which they didn't) so when I got home I called back in to give them my email. On the phone with yet another rep in the service department this person was much better to deal with and listened to my case and said he would pass it on to his manager who would reach out the next day. The next day goes rolling by and finally get a call. They resolved the problems by giving me a free hour of electrical diagnosis with every hour after at a slightly discounted rate. Don't be surprised if you have to fight for yourself to get service. Also on the safety report they said my license plate bulb was out had they turned on the lights on the dash and bent over to look they would see the bulbs work along with all the other lights. I do not trust their report at all, and will not be back.

I bought my first car here. I will not by my second car here. I bought a 2018 Malibu used. The day I brought it home the engine light turned on (mass air flow sensor). Called the dealership right away, they asked be to bring in for service. Service cleaned a part, replaced the solenoid sensor. Got the car back, engine light came on again (mass air flow). Called the dealership and they brought it back in, said a part needed to be replace and they would not replace it for free. Remind you this problem started the day I took it off the lot. So I get the sensor replaced (not at the dealership) and well that part was not the problem engine light is still on. I call the dealership, no answer. I leave messages no one calls back. So I submitted a complaint, I hear back in a day. I explained the situation they agree that they will stand behind the vehicle if the problem I have is the same problem as the one I had the day I brought the car home (engine light related to mass air flow). They say I have to specifically take it to a Chevrolet dealership where I am living because they want Chevy to look at it as they will know more about the car. I ask specifically if I do this, will they stand behind the service. They agree they will over the phone and over text message. So I book an appointment with a Chevy dealership near me. The mechanic looks at it, finds the issue PCV valve needs to be replaced as it is clogged, hence the air intake code and engine light issue. I call the dealership, no answer. I text the dealership representative. No answer. So yes, I bought my first car here for 15,000$ put another 1000$+ of repairs in under 6 months to a problem it had the day I brought it home. The worse part, I was told I would be taken care of and I wasn't. Ended up being screwed over a couple times at a few different dealerships before I found a place that would treat me right. I can't wait to give them a 5 star review. Sorry I had to recant my original 5 star review of Oakrige Ford. Moral of the story, if you buy a used vehicle here, and there is something wrong day of return it while in your 90 days or what ever it is, and trust no one in the building. They will give you the run around and you will end up feeling used.

My family has bought 5 new F150's since 2017, 4 of them being from Oakridge Ford. This was my first experience dealing with the new Service Manager Patrick Lafond. I brought my truck in wondering why the front of my hood looked like it had a patchy repair and respray and was slightly dented, they informed me the hood was damaged and resprayed prior to purchase. Patrick told me they did not have to inform me of the repair as it was under $1000. Being a brand new F150 and the exact same model and colour I had prior, I didn't examine this brand new truck with a fine tooth comb and trusted that everything was in order when I picked the truck up. The truck only has 20k kms and Patrick said because it's been over a year and I didn't notice sooner, there's nothing he can do. I use this truck as a work truck and don't prioritize washing it too often. I told Patrick this would hurt resale value and trade in value, his advice was "You didn't notice for over a year maybe the person buying it wont notice either" So basically telling me to rip someone else off. I told him this was not good advice to be giving and that having bought so many vehicles from Oakridge Ford in the last 4 years I would have expected better. Patrick Lafond's words of wisdom, "I don't care where you buy your car, just where you service it". Patrick asked what I wanted done, and I said that I wanted it to look like it should have looked, like a new hood. He warned me that any repair would be done by the exact same people that did the last repair, as if this would scare me off or something. I told Patrick I don't care who does the repair as long as it looks the way it should. I left and would be awaiting a call from Patrick. It's been a couple weeks, I've tried calling 5 times, finally getting through to someone on the 5th call. They made a note for Patrick to return my call, and since have not heard from him or anyone else at Oakridge Ford. Complete lack of service.

I had a terrible experience at Oakridge Ford dealership. We had agreed upon a deal for a fusion including a trade in for my vehicle. After agreeing on a price they reneged on the amount on my trade in. I settled for $500 less. When the finance guy called me to go over the final purchase price I found that they had snuck in a warranty for $700 that I specifically said NO to. A couple days later I get a call from the sales guy telling me there has been a “mix up” and the background information they gave me on the car was incorrect. The car I was about to purchase had been in an accident. They assured me they would get the collision manager to do a full inspection and give me a report on the findings to ease my mind. The next couple days I’m contacting both of my contacts from the dealership asking for answers and I’m being ignored. I receive a text asking me when I’m coming to pick up the vehicle. I reiterate I want to speak with the collision manager to hear about his findings. I’m then told they are “hesitant to let me speak to the collision manager because what he has to say is just an opinion” and they didn’t want me to put too much stock into what he had to say. He’s the collision expert, of course I’m going to put stock into what he has to say! But they wouldn’t allow me to speak to him. Obviously his findings weren’t very good. I told the sales guy to refund my deposit. This whole ordeal felt like the stereotypical scumbag used car dealership situation many people find themselves in. I wouldn’t expect to experience this from a major Ford dealership. It was a week full of stress, dishonesty, broken promises, sketchy situations and disappointment. I am turned off from buying a vehicle now. I will drive my old truck into the ground. Thanks for nothing Oakridge. Buyer beware.

He make us feel very comfortable right away so much so that not only did I end up purchasing a new vehicle from him but we also purchased a second vehicle for my husband. Service is very inconsistent: sometimes poor and sometimes good for warranty issues. Dealership opts to send automated surveys to follow up on service that was performed. Calls to a Service Advisor are seldom answered and instead go to voicemail. You may be disappointed if you expect a phone call returned in a timely fashion. I hope this will change and am looking for dealership options in the meantime.

Mixed experiences here. They should lose their Quick Lane designation, as every time I've taken my car here for a "no appointment" oil change, they don't have a tech available. Last visit I was told it would be two weeks before they could get me in. The visit before that, they failed to top up fluids that I knew were low and paid for.

FORD SERVICE PlAN IS A SCAM - horrible service from Jillian Head, Mark Stewart and owner Mark Stevens. We purchased a 2017 Ford Explorer and the sales experience ok but Jillian was very pushy for the service plan which was $3700. We were told it is refundable if something happens and transferable. After our car got totalled in April 2020 with only 50,000km. we reached out to Jillian Head in the Finance department, she requested the forms and letter from insurance and said we will get a refund for the time remaining. After months of follow up with no response, I had to contact Mark Stewart the manager to get things moving. We received a pathetic $1260 refund for extended warranty and service plan (we spent $3700 + $1900) after using the service plan for only 5 oil changes!!!! As per our calculations refund should be $2500. We asked to get a confirmation if the Kms were submitted to Ford headquarters, we explained that it’s not fair and this plan is a scam!! We contacted Mark the manager and the owner. They now refuse to respond to me after 13 phone calls and over 9 emails sent. Ford ESP can only be contacted by the dealership so there is no way for us to reach them. DO NOT BUY THE SERVICE PLAN, pay for it as you go. We have written a letter to Ford Canada and forwarded all communication to Rogers TV and CTV.

Getting my recall fixed here was a disaster. I had to speak to 3 different people before making an appointment and booked the day off for the appointment only to be told 2 hours after dropping it off that they didn’t have the part I needed so it couldn’t be fixed. They ordered the part for me and said they would call when the part came in. Fast forward 5 weeks when I call to see if the part is in yet to learn that it’s been in for 2 weeks with no call. Made another appointment and it took them 5 hours for a 2 hour job and they didn’t give me the paperwork from the work so I had to call to have the receipt emailed for proof it’s fixed. Do not recommend their service.

They didn’t give my deposit back yet, I’ve been there three times.. Will never come to this location again after dealing with Brandon lilley the service adviser was to busy talking to other employees about how he was going to quit but only stayed because of his promotion so my truck didn't make it into the shop while I was talking to someone else about rescheduling Brandon who was about 20 feet away was giving me dirty looks and trying to stare me down he then started to chirp in giving me attitude and even raising his voice with me very unprofessional for some who's job it is to deal with customers this guy needs to control his anger. Sorry about losing my business because everyone else I dealt with was very nice and I am happy with my truck unfortunately will never return to this location.

Jesse and Ted were both awesome, Ted had the car ready for me on time with a full tank of gas which was awesome. also my car has a couple little interior issues but Ted has been great in setting up a time for me to come in and get everything handled. I tried getting approved for financing at a few other places and the best I was offered was 17%, that was until I meet Jesse who was exceptional and went above and beyond to get me an amazing 0% financing on a brand new 2013 Focus SE. This guy blew me away with his persistence and effort to help a stranger. In the end I got exactly what I wanted for an amazing price, not only did I get what I wanted I got it from a crew of great customer friendly guys down at Oakridge Ford. I Highly recommend this place for anyone with a bad credit rating who thinks they wont get approved at a good rate, Ford Credit is a miracle I have a lot of debt and a pretty embarrassing credit score yet Ford was able to give me 0%. I hope more people buying new cars go to this dealership because the price is right and the service is GREAT!!!
