Few years ago I had a deal that was agreed by sales rep. Sales manager came and shut it down because "they would take a loss". It was very disappointing to finally agree to some numbers only to be shut down. I have also had a few mediocre service appointments at this location. Now I choose to drive across town to Ford dealerships just to avoid this place.

We are now happy owners of a 2017 Ford Mustang and that's all thanks to him. First negative review. Negative stars? You know the saying don't go there? Well, don't go there. Engine issues, car in shop for 3weeks! After experiencing safe mode engine shutdown at highway speeds. I discovered 2 recalls run VIN number Ford website (do a screenshot and save it, I should have) Ford Canada confirmed this; completion time, where, However, after taking into Highbury I was told one of these was completed. I've owned the vehicle since 2011 and recall came out 2014-15 The vehicle has never been to Ford under my care until now...so huge question mark there??? From the beginning of this attempt / service I had many interactions with Highbury Ford. Every one of them was, arduous, slow, fumbled, non-responsive, avoidance, in hopes that I go away? Management had to be contacted for the proper tests to be completed Radiator needs replacing. It took 11 business days over 2 weekends... With no insight as to why so long. Parts came from Memphis. I had to continuously chase down information from the various people in service and parts. Regular promises to call back at scheduled times (3) nope! I was even given 'excuse making' that someone had a tough day, however this is their job and they get paid for it. They seem more concerned with their big clients like Canada Post and London police? Twice they did not even know if my vehicle was still on their lot!!!!! I was told very succinctly and directly that they were NOT able to supply me with a loaner car in the short term? Which is amusing given it's a car lot. Perhaps more accurately it was a "will not"? I also made the fair and logical assumption that Ford could supply one of their own OEM parts and install it in one of their vehicles? FALSE! After the installation was completed. The vehicle was leaking during the pressure test. I was told it was the reservoir overflow issue. The suggested replacement was $500. I took this information directly from the mechanic as solid. Not to waste any more time (waiting for parts) took my vehicle, purchased a replacement overflow reservoir from Corey's auto Wreckers. Soon it was very apparent that it was NOT the overflow! Back in to HF. Leaking coolant all over the place, overheating,shutting down, safe mode. On their inspection; removing panels... the issue was a $2 hose clamp!!!. In addition, the installation was admittedly done improperly. No vibration dampeners installed underneath the rad. I was told this would be scheduled to take place, parts ordered. I followed up email and call. No reply. To make matters worse while my car was there overnight for this. HF failed to lock my vehicle! that night there was a break-in, two windows were smashed in other vehicles on the lot. My car was easily pilfered, anything and everything, worth value was taken, garbage thrown all over. It was acknowledged this person was caught on videotape. I brought this to their attention; it was mentioned their sign that they have: HF not responsible for lost or stolen items... So, the sign basically absolves them of all responsibility of due diligence in locking customers cars? Phone calls and emails went unacknowledged about this issue. There were a few Silver linings in all of this. My service advisor Scott did the best he could. And the service schedule coordinator 'Jaz'. Was always reachable and connected the dots for me. As a whole, what an epic failure of customer service. To date my car has yet to be properly fixed for the installation of a radiator although I have paid hundreds of dollars. August to December of 2019 attempts were made to finish the job Readers please learn well from this experience. HF: Clean up your act

Bough my car 6 months ago and it's made a rattle sound since I started driving it. Took it in and the change something but it still makes the same sound. Get another appointment so they can try again. I change shifts at my job to get this appointment and now they cancelled it. How long does it take to get things fixed. Tired of driving a noisy rattling car. Wish I could just drop it off and get my money back for this lemon you can't or don't want to fix.

My car was booked in for the Friday before the long weekend. It was a very busy morning and both shuttles were out. I had to be at work (I'm a teacher) for 9am. The manager took me in his car and loaded all of my stuff I had to take with me into the trunk. I had a great conversation and got to work on time. The shuttle picked me up promptly at 5pm to take me back to the garage. the recall on my car had been done and I left shortly after. Great customer service from start to end

After taking my escape for an oil change I was contacted on three separate occasions by phone about a satisfaction survey where there true intentions were to see if I was interested in selling it because of its low mileage. I didn’t think getting an oil change at the dealership meant they would check to see if I’m ready to sell a vehicle I’m perfectly happy with. Walked in on a Saturday and apparently they close early on Saturdays and can’t help and refuse to help. I have had the worse customer service at the service desk of my life. My car broke down and shut off while I was driving and we almost got into a car accident and the service guy said “can’t help you today man” and as a loyal customer of several years I was baffled at the fact that he couldn’t even get us a loaner for the weekend or even try. “I’ve got nothing all weekend.. what would you have done if it was a Sunday...nothing no one is open Sundays” which confuses me as it’s the 21st century you should have something open to help your paying customers... will never go there again!!

We went there to get our airbags inflator replaced and the spark plugs as well. The airbag was recalled and was supposed to be free for us as ford will pay for the replacement, not us too, however they included it in the bill 140$ we had to ask them to remove that, they had no clue why it was on the bill; after asking for the full 400$ . . . . The spark plugs cost roughly $6 a piece, and to replace the 6 of them it cost us $245.43 . . . Friendly service, just a little over priced is all.

bought a 2020 Mustang from Robert Melo last week, my first experience purchasing a brand new vehicle. Aside from the fact I absolutely love the car, the service was exceptional. Robert was knowledgeable, polite and not at all pushy. I had a good idea of what I wanted, Highbury happened to have the exact features in this car. Good price too. The extended warranty was aggressively promoted but I went with it at a really good rate. As a sales guy myself I appreciated the no BS approach and it was a pleasurable transaction. Will never go here again for service. We had a nail in our tire and it was too close to the rim to be patched, so Highbury ordered us a new tire, it came in, we booked an appointment for 9:30 am to get it put on. I go in for 9:30, at around 10:40, a guy comes out and tells me they ordered the wrong size tire. So I had been sitting there for an hour before they even realized this. They guy tells me the tire is on a truck on the way there right now and should be there within the hour. He put a spare tire on my vehicle so I could go home and come back. I'm from out of town so I told him I'll just stay in town for the hour. He said he'd call when the tire is in. I didn't get a call so after about two hours of killing time, I went back in. The tire wasn't there yet. He apologized and said to leave my rim here and they will put the tire on it as soon as it comes in and give me a call when it's ready. He said I could come back the next day anytime I wanted and I'd be in and out within 30 mins and they wouldn't charge us for the labour since they messed up and wasted our time. Great, we were happy with this solution. I told him we'd come back tomorrow morning. We go back the next morning, my husband went this time since I had already wasted 3 hours of my day on this place yesterday. They make my him wait for almost two hours, tell him they "weren't expecting him until 1pm". Then they charge him labour and won't take that charge off! It's now been two weeks and they're dodging our calls to right the bill. Never going here again. Do not go here if you want to be treated fairly and don't want your time and money wasted.

Since this post on 29/May/2019, Highbury Ford has fixed my car issues the service department stepped up a really took time to understand my concern, walk me through the process, meet my expectations and provided accommodation for my needs. To Ford Canada: IF YOU ARE READING THIS BELIEVE ME YOU’LL REGRET BUYING A FORD FOCUS Ford Focus are the worst cars to buy from them. DO NOT BUY A FORD FOCUS. My pregnant wife almost got into an accident because of the transmission/clutch issues they know models from 2012-2016 have. I had previously sent the car in to fix the transmission problems and sometimes there is no issues with the car but moments before as I’m taking it in for service the car shrouded at the lights or stop signs. Every time I’m taking a ramp to merge into a highway I’m scared this car is gonna stall or someone is just going to hit me. I have warranty on my vehicle up to 120,000km -5yrs. Ford is basically waiting for my warranty to expire. They know the issues with the car as I’ve sent in 5 times (once at oakridge ford) each time the transmission was fixed only to find that it’s a temporary fix! I had a 2012 Ford Focus and they exchanged it to a 2015 because “the transmission issues were fixed” I went back to the sales person and said “that’s what Ford Canada told us” Ford Canada stop selling Focus for the safety of everyone

Went and saw two used car to purchase as a second vehicle. First one wouldn't start even after trying with two different booster packs so I gave up and took another car for a test drive which was also a big disappointment. I noticed major transmission issues during the test drive, and the roters were completely rusted. Mike was very nice but I wasn't comfortable looking at any more cars at this dealership, so I moved on. Buyers be aware!

Just got our 2017 explorer sport from there. Love it. Edit: I am unfortunately changing my 4 star review to 0 stars and I wish I read the reviews before purchasing here as clearly I'm not the only one who is being ignored by management... - the truck is still on lease, and it's in the shop so far for 9 days and I have no replacement vehicle. - 2000$ in maintenance items out of warranty (out of pocket) on top of what it's in for (they need to remove the engine to fix this warranty item) - I have requested lease buy out info and have not been successful in obtaining it for 7 days. - during this time I have left 2 voicemails with a manager to call me and one message with the staff to notify a manager to call me. None of those options resulted a manager contacting me.. The saga continues as I am still waiting for a response.

I've had poor service multiple times, I believe there's nobody holding the staff accountable for their actions or lack there of. This morning I was left waiting 40 mins before being told the mechanic I was waiting to speak with would likely be another hour or more before he even looked at my car. We were just in tonight to see a Ford Flex. I don't like giving free advertising to any manufacture but it seems that Ford is/has been playing catch-up at a time when it's competitors (to include the Japanese) are standing still??? If you know what you want and if these folks have it, they will not let you leave empty-handed & unsatisfied. They will make every effort. If you think or believe that this is the case for every dealership, you are fooling yourself or worse, you are allowing them to fool you. The only reason why I did not reward them 5/5 is because they did not have a vehicle that I wanted & that last star would have rated their transaction process. I took my 2012 Ford Fusion in for service. They send a text to your phone thanking you for your business and if there is anything else they can do to your vehicle just reply to the text message. I did that there were two other things I wanted them to look at that I forgot about when I checked in. They claim they never recieved the texts. Also last two times I've been there they had my home address wrong on my invoice I wrote the correct address out for them and they still have it wrong. Then they never called me to tell me my vehicle was ready, I came by late and seen it outside. Walked inside and there was no one inside, one of the mechanics noticed and tried to find someone but still had to wait a half hour to see a service advisor. And then my bill was way too expensive, and then they give me an estimate for an additional $3,600 worth of work they said needs to be done. I am very upset with their service department.

My fiancee and I went into the Highbury Ford because we bought a used SUV from another dealer that was a lemon since the day we got it. We ended up sitting down and talking with Andy Fleming for hours figuring out our options. We had met Andy two years prior when we first had issues with our old vehicle. Even though he knew we weren't buying at the time, he still listened and went over some numbers with us. He left such an impression on us, we decided when it was time to buy again, we would go to him first. We went into Highbury Ford to see Andy. Surprisingly, he remembered us. We told him our situation. He said he would do whatever he could to get us into a new vehicle. We had seen a truck outside that we absolutely loved but did not think we would be able to actually afford getting it. But for jokes we said we liked it to him anyways. So, he got on his laptop and started giving us numbers. They weren't as bad as we were expecting. So he involved one of the Assistant Mgr's Andrew Miller and financier Kirby ,to see what they could do for us. Over the course of a few days they worked hard and stayed late two nights after the dealer closed to see how they could help us get out of our old SUV, and into a new truck. All that hard work payed off, and we were able to get the truck of our dreams! The only down fall was after giving the down payment, it took 5 days before we got the truck because someone was on holidays so Kirby was swamped. Maybe having a second person to help during a busy incentive period would be something the owner of the dealership could take into consideration next time. Overall, it was a fabulous experience. All three of those gentlemen have outstanding customer service. We could not thank them enough for everything they did for us. We will definitely be going back to Highbury Ford! Thank you so much.

FEMALES BEWARE!!! had my escape towed here as the key fobs somehow locked. caa came and assessed and said the dealership had to do this as they unfortunately could not. highbury ford initially charged me $314 and sd the problem could not be fixed. they sd it would be another $150 ish to do another diagnostic test. i sd NO! i had it towed somewhere else. once the 2nd place looked at it, they literally sd it had been fixed and charged me NOTHING! on another note. when i went to the dealership to have it towed a very rude man refused to wait 3 whole minutes for the tow truck and sd he was locking the gate. i was told the day prior it wouldn't be any problem to have it towed whenever. One positive is that a kind man from the lot across the street (Mark i think) said he would wait for the tow truck and lock the gate. thank you Mark and shame on you highbury ford.

The worst place and the worst service. I leased a 2015 ford f150 brand new and for 2 years I had missed no payment. Before 100.000klm I had gone for transmition twice. Kitchener ford offered me to put me on a 2017 f150 and I asked them to give me the buy out. I waited one month and nothing. When I visited there dealership and I asked the owners son Jason to give me the buy out he went to right it down at the back of a receipt. I asked him then to put it on a formal peace of paper and he said that he doesn't work on my pace nor I'm his boss and he will give it to me when he has time. When I mentioned that I waited for a month and I attempted numerous phone calls to try to get him to give me what he should have given me in a heart bit he then ask me to stop trespassing his property and called the cops on me. He send the buy out after 2 days to Kitchener Ford because he knew that I had visited a lawyer and I was prepared to take legal action. I wouldn't buy even a screw from that place. They are the most unprofessional people I have ever delt with. Shame to be representing Ford.

"Poor attitude and poor service" - Notbuyingafordagain I bought a 14 Escape Titanium at Summit when we lived in Etobicoke. At 90k the transmission died and was rebuilt under warranty by Summit Ford in Etobicoke. Not a glowing endiorsement of this vehicle but stuff happens and it was covered by the warranty and that dealer has always been good to work with. I had purchased 2 other Escapes (2011 and 2012) in previous years and got the extended coverage on all 3 vehicles. Taking it in for the routine service was always a good experience at Summit, all fluids topped up, interiour vaccuumed, outside washed, all parts that were in the service agreement were replaced on time, without any issues. Wipers, bulbs brakes, etc. All good, no complaints. A very different experience at Highbury. The vehicle is always messy when it comes back from routine service, not all fluids are topped up, no wash, no interiour clean, just the bare necessities and nothing to make a person think this was a good dealer to work with. Then a wheel bearing went at 114,000km. I've owned a lot of vehuicles over the years. I've driven over 3 million km in a variety or cars and light trucks without ever losing a wheel bearing. The counter person told me I was lucky to get 114,000km out of a wheel bearing. he had been a mechanic and knew this was a good thing!! So now I have to worry about the cost of 3 more wheel bearings going in my low mile 2014 vehicle. I was not a happy camper to be told this. What kind of a customer service person says something like this?? At Highbury Ford I've had to fight tooth and nail to get the brakes re-done even though they are covered under the extended warranty. They finally did the rear brakes but have told me the front brakes are still good and need a millimeter more wear before they can be replaced, even though they grind and make noise everytime the vehickle sits for more than a day. Terrible service and the main reason I will not buy another Ford.

First I went to Courtesy Ford to purchase a oil filter for my F 150. (FL-500-S) because they were close to home. They did not have them in stock and told me they were on back order and they tried to sell me a Fram Oil Filter which I refused. I just find it funny and embarrassing that a dealership would be out of stock with the most common oil filter. I took my Ford to get an alignment and an inner tie rod end (I'd had been told I needed one at another Ford dealership) The tech checked it out and let me know that it needed an alignment but the inner tie rod end was fine. Worst dealership ever! Went there looking to buy an F-150. I did the build and price 6 times, I did my homework, I knew what I wanted. When I got there they tried to talk me into the most expensive truck they had, then told me that the truck I wanted I couldn't get with the option I wanted. The salesman had the sales manager tell the same thing. I went to another dealership and had no problem ordering the truck I wanted. This year I traded in that truck and bought a new one...guess what again NOT from highbury ford. They lied right to my face and didn't like me calling them on it. There was an issue with my car but the origin was unknown. The mechanic Chris haze went for a drive with me and talked me through all the possible issues. He then proceeded to step by step eliminate possible issues and let me test the car out between each fix. Or, in any response less than 4 stars, do they ever admit any wrong doing? When a business has no clue what the words "accountability" or "humble" mean, it's probably best to shop elsewhere. There's at least 2 or 3 other Ford dealers right nearby that actually accept blame for mistakes they make, and don't just respond to everything with "you're not in our database so you must be a fake review". So after 1 month of test driving everything from a Toyota Corolla to a Porsche boxster I settled on the dodge challenger! Awesome car...not what I originally wanted...I wanted a mustang 5.0...you think I could test drive one?!?! Nope. Maybe i didn't appear that I could afford one. Ford dealerships were the only one that flat out refused to et my wife and I test drive a mustang. So in the end I now own a dodge challenger...fully loaded...Also highbury fords service was awful..knowledge awful..I would not recommend this dealer. Came in today to check out a Jeep they had listed for sale. I had the honour to deal with Kirby, he was very up front and honest about the vehicle before hand as it it was an as is/ as-traded vehicle. Coming from a background of relatives with dealerships, I’ve been to the other Ford dealerships here in London and have never been treated as well as Kirby did today. Even though I came in to view a cheaper as is piece of inventory and decided to pass up on the Jeep they had for sale, I felt he treated me the same way he would have treated someone buying a Ford GT. We recently dealt with Highbury Ford on a vehicle we had leased 4 years ago from a dealership outside of London. We were in a bind having been way over the km's that we were allocated in the 4 year term. Not having any luck with the original dealership, we reached out to Highbury Ford to see what they could do. Instead of having to keep our 4 year Escape with 120k on it, or give it back and have to pay a $7000 km charge, we were so happy to find out we could eliminate all that and get into a brand new Escape with 95% of the features our initial vehicle had, for very close to the same price point. It was an easy decision. Huge thanks to Geoff Chisholm who made it all happen. Geoff was amazing to deal with and answered all of my questions and more. He wasn't pushy and gave us time to make our decision. Thanks to Mike Oliver as well for taking the time to explain a lot of the features and gadgets the truck came with. Amazing service. 5 stars is not enough. Super happy we made that decision to deal with Highbury Ford. I will definitely be calling them again when needed.

RESEARCH YOUR CAR BEFORE YOU BUY! Bought a 2012 focus from them last year that has serious transmission problems. Had the car in 3 times in less than a year to fix the problem but currently there is no fix. There solution was to keep brining it in to have it reprogrammed or the clutch replaced because it's under warranty, but these solutions don't fix anything so it's a waste of time! Unsure how this company deleted my review about their terrible service. To update it again, I took my car in for repairs under warranty, and the mechanics tried to charge me for it anyways. They didn't even bother to check my VIN number to see what warranties applied. Very manipulative and dishonest Ford location. Had to go to another Ford location to get the repairs done for free, as per the warranty. Also, this dishonest location actually deleted this review...Notice the timestamp on the reply below...as of right now, you'll see it was posted a year before this current review, but we'll see if they try to delete it again. They somehow managed to delete my comments, but couldn't delete the one-star. Had to repost my review just now. Very manipulative behaviour by Ford. Shame on them not wanting customers to share information about how they tried to lie to their customer.

After my experience today, I will never recommend nor continue with the automobile company "FORD". Specifically with the dealership located at 1365 Dundas Street in London Ontario. I booked an "appointment" yesterday to look at a concern I had about my recently purchased vehicle, making a noise when i would release the brake at a complete stop. I was told by an employee by the name of Joanne to bring it in at 8:45am for an "appointment". So my husband took the day off work and drove back from Toronto to help me bring it in for me since we did not expect this would take an entire day! I would've been left with absolutely no vehicle because of their poor service and terrible communication if it wasn't for my husband being in town for the day. We called at 2 pm, and were told to call back at 3 pm. We called at 3:30 pm to soon realise it had not been looked at. So I called them back and told them to not bother looking at the vehicle and my husband will be picking it up and take it elsewhere, but once I mentioned that to the employee I spoke to, Adam called me back saying that the car was in the shop currently being looked at by a mechanic. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a visible minority, and a young woman, but I felt like I was taken advantage of and embarrassed because it wasn't looked at until I mentioned that my husband would be picking it up. And after all this, when my husband arrived, they still did not look at it!!! He spoke to the mechanic and said to my husband's face that it would only take 5 minutes, AND they still charged me $67.78 telling me it may have been just the quality of the part and no repairs were done to my car. So my husband's whole day and 5 minutes worth of looking at it cost him a days lost of work, my stress and time, and $67.78 for 5 minutes of time being told its "probably" fine and just the quality of part. If this was only a 5 minute job, then why was it not looked at my 8:45 am appointment? I do not feel as if they had properly looked at my car within the 5 minutes they had it in the shop, considering they had ALL DAY, and to be charged $67.78 still, is so insulting! work order # 5127 This wasn't customer service, this was being taken advantage of and robbery. This is my second Ford vehicle and my last because of this experience. As well side note, my car is still making noises!!! Nothing was addressed. Update: I now take my car to Oakridge Ford. Although I have to drive across the city compared to driving 5 min. to Highbury Ford, it is well worth it. The customer service and communication is great, where they contact me promptly about my car or if my car will take a bit longer in the shop. I would regularly have to call the service department at Highbury Ford to get answers regarding when my vehicle would be ready. Highbury Ford left a sour taste in my mouth regarding servicing vehicles at dealerships, but Oakridge Ford has met my expectations. I will continue to use them instead.

Yet another horrible experience at this dealership. Used vehicle bought from them a few years ago and we purchased the best used warranty as possible because all the tech in the car. Every time we try to use the warranty (tricker) they keep stating it is a plastic part so it is not covered??? Look under your hood how much plastic do you see??? We just feel like we were taken for thousands of dollars and yet again today. Car went in for a air fuel mix engine light on and yet another plastic part not covered. Service department stated the car would be ready Thursday at 4. So we started calling at 4 for an update 8 calls later we needed the receptionist to intervene and actually get someone on the phone. Went to pick the car up today Friday $589 was the bill for a cracked pvc. Before you decide to take your vehicle here for service please be aware!!!!!

I went to Highbury Ford for a COVR safety for my company F-350. It was a process that took from Monday to Friday. They preformed the inspection monday. The work was to follow that Wednesday. Completion was late consecutively 3 days in a row, severely effecting my schedule. I did complain to the severice advisor in charge of my account tactfully explaining the situation and my frustration. My reasoning for putting this review on Google is that now the back axel is leaking oil on my personal driveway. I fear this is related due to the fact they did a "thorough inspection" and did 3700$ worth of work but there is now an oil leak that wasn't previously there. I sincerely hope no one else encounters this problem.

Went in to pick up my elderly father-in-laws car for service. Accidentally parked in one of the 2 shuttle spots, the"courtesy" driver pulled up and said to get the "hell" of of his parking spot, even though there was open 2 spots beside me. So moved over one spot. I walked inside the service center, he came in 3 mins later and waved at me from behind his mask, stay 2 minutes and left with the shuttle car. Proceeded to get help to pay the bill, the person that came in after was standing at the other desk, and the person that was dealing with me, stopped mid sentence and then began to help the person that came in after me. I was about to accept the lousy deal until I had a quick look at the condition of the vehicle after safety. Brutal experience trying to buy a car. Wasted ~7 hours total across 3 visits. Never did get them to commit to a price or anything in writing. They did offer 9000 credit for two cars trade in. With a combined total of 130k-km. They blame it on their process of selling through reseller after reseller (and everyone needs to take a cut) Sold 1 car (100k-km) privately for 10500 and still drive the other one. Somewhat typical of dealerships, but this one seems to take it to the next level. Several rounds of napkin math sales pitch. It's the same thing over and over except discussed discounts seem to reduce the closer you get to purchase. Several co-workers with the same experience or worse. Lots of Ford dealerships around, make sure you check out more than one.

Several weeks ago my daughter and son-in-law purchased a Ford Explorer sport for the sticker price from this dealership. They left a deposit and asked that a small dent be repaired. They were contacted by the salesperson and arranged for pickup Wednesday evening. We hired a babysitter and drove to London from Waterloo to pick up the vehicle. On arriving my very excited family saw that the Explorer was damaged all down the driver's side including the bumpers. Our salesperson chose to service another customer who had arrived at the dealership at our appointment time and we waited beside the damaged vehicle for 30 minutes with other employees milling around but ignoring us. The salesperson finally came out and told us he did not notice the damage when he took the car out to put gas in it. The new car manager came out with him to the vehicle and the two took pictures. The new car manager kept reminding us he was the "new car" manager. My daughter's excitement became tears of frustration and disappointment. The dealership said they would fix the car and we drove back home. On the way home, it was decided that they would not purchase the vehicle since it was not in the shape that it was when they bought it. After three weeks of back and forth and escalating to contact with the dealership owner, my family finally got a partial refund of their deposit. I would like to point out the complete disrespect this salesperson, " new car" manager and dealership had for their young customers. At no time did anyone apologize to us for the vehicle's condition or for our driving for 3 hours for no reason. In fact at one point they suggested we owed them money! My husband and I have bought many vehicles from different dealerships including dealerships in London and have never been treated with such utter disregard and disrespect. This experience was totally unsatisfactory. The one star means very disappointing. This dealership is actually no stars.

The worst customer experience I have had in my 40 years of life. They wasted my time with warranty stuff that the knew they were going to deny. Now I have a 2 yr old ford with rust. I was told that the rust module works. But our salesman Brian Melo, never told us about getting the module serviced every year. And to add to the story. They ask me to reach out to staff. I leave a message and they do not respond back. I now deal with another Ford dealer. Due to the lack of confidence that Highbury Ford has shown me. I will not ever deal with this company again. I recently purchased a 2016 Ford F-150. I had been searching for a 2015 for quite some time with no luck. I contacted Andy Fleming and he assured me they would be able to find exactly what I was after. After the weekend, Andy called me to let me know they hadn't had any luck and they were going to continue to search. In the meantime he sent me a couple pictures of the 2016. I was very hesitant at first but agreed to come in and check it out. Andy stayed late to accommodate my schedule. Everything from when I walked in the door was first class. Twice now I have been told I need something fixed - and with a second opinion that was not true! The most recent experience was I was told I needed new brakes, I went to two other mechanics and both told me I had more than 60% left! When I called back I was told it is "recommended" based on regular maintenance, but that is unacceptable. I have never written an online review about anything, but I am disappointed that Ford holds true to the mechanic stereotype. Now I have to go back because of some recall fix, and I do not have a choice if I want it to stay under warrenty. But I am very frustrated to have to do this. I liked the style of the old ford escape, but sadly I won't be "upgrading" with a Ford for either car.

** PLEASE AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP ** They have the lowest google rating out of the London dealerships for a reason. They absolutely ignore your messages, supervisors refuse to speak to you, and they are extremely rude to their customers like others have mentioned in their reviews. I purchased my new 2017 F150 Lariat from here. I paid them for a 2 year sticker on my license plate but only received a 1 year sticker. When I called and left them messages about this they were ignored. They still owe me the money for this. I took my vehicle there for 6 recalls to be done. I asked if they would do anything about the 4 or 5 things that did not work on my truck anymore due to regular wear and tear even though my warranty was up. I did not ask them to diagnose any of them, nor did they tell me they were going to. There was absolutely no mention of a diagnoses process or fee. They took down the list of things broken and I left. When I came back to pick up my truck they told me I owed them $450 for diagnosing the problems. I told them this was never told to me and the supervisor came out to offer no solution at all. He told me the employee that did the paperwork when I dropped it off was on lunch and stared at me like I was supposed to stay there and wait for him to come back from his break. I took my keys and left. I took my truck there for a transmission issue. They called me at the end of the day that I had dropped it off and said they had 2 technicians drive my vehicle and could not duplicate the transmission issue and to come pick up my vehicle. I asked to speak with the customer service manager and was told he was in a meeting. I called and left a message on his answering machine 1st thing the next morning. I was called back by someone else telling me to come pick up my vehicle they will never fix it nor will the supervisor speak to me because of what happened when I took my truck in for the recalls. After arguing with him on the phone I hung up and came later that day to pick up my vehicle. When I arrived they told me my keys were waiting on one of the podiums and to get the hell out. I asked where my truck was and they just yelled "I don't know get the hell out." I had to find my truck myself in there lot. When I got in it it and started it my odometer had only gone up by 0.2km's . There is absolutely no way they had 2 technicians drive my truck to diagnose it. I am not sure why they were so unprofessional and childish by lying to me. My transmission was so bad it had to be fully replaced. ** PLEASE AVOID ** Response everything I have wrote in my review are facts. You have lied, attempted to cheat me, and have stolen from me and It was not till you lied, tried to cheat me, and stole from me that I finally wrote a review on your dealership. I strongly suggest instead of trying to undermine your customers in their google reviews you use your time to try and prevent these negative reviews from happening instead. asking for 5 star reviews on your service desks is a horrible stategy in my opinion. What a disappointment! The experience and service my sister and I have received from Highbury Ford over the past two weeks is beyond unacceptable! I won’t tolerate being pushed off with excuses! When I purchased a truck in February from Highbury Ford I had an excellent experience, beyond my expectations; thanks to Ab! He didn’t just put me in a truck and expect I would like it; he had me test drive every option available in my price range and helped me make the best decision for me not Highbury Ford. I left there wanting to refer my friends and family which is exactly what I did! And let me tell you it was not the experience I had before! I referred my sister who came all the way from Parry Sound on my recommendation and what a joke the experience we’re having now. Unfortunately, Ab was not available when I brought my sister in. I know if he had been, I wouldn’t be writing this review because the experience would have been excellent like mine. In my opinion, with this experience the assistant sales manager, Kirby made an agreement just to get a sale and now that the sale is done… I’m getting the run around! I had to replace my breaks after having my truck 6 months. I was pissed at the situation that I would even need to which made me question the results of my safety. So, I took my vehicle elsewhere to have them done. I voiced my disgust with the assistant sales manager and he said we’ll take care of brakes, bring in your receipt. Think anything has been done.. other than giving me the run around.. NO! Leaving voicemail after voicemail with no call back, until you tell the receptionist to personally find him and tell him to call you. Should I have to go to that extent? NO! We pointed out noise coming from the brakes on my sisters vehicle during the test drive, told them it needed to be fixed before pick up, it wasn't! They said it's rust build up with the long drive you have back it will wear off and the noise will be gone. Well guess what it's been two weeks... noise is still there! My sister now has to bring her vehicle back Highbury Ford for them to fix their screw up so she doesn’t have to pay out of pocket for something that should have been fixed in the first place. Fine, not a problem but do you think they offered anything for the inconvenience, like giving her a gas card to cover the cost of her gas? NO, Nothing! The kicker is, they know our mother is looking for a vehicle. If we had the time she probably would have bought one the day we were there but do you think after the crap her daughters are going through she wants to buy from Highbury Ford? Would you? I want to point out that the salesperson for my sisters sale, Trevor was great! It’s everything that came after with Kirby, the assistant used sales manager, that’s a huge disgust! Vehicle wasn't ready for turnover, bill of sale was different upon pick up, got some BS excuse about interest rate! It’s unfortunate that one person can ruin the rapport someone else spend the time building with a customer.

They had my truck in for engine repairs on warranty for 12 days while I was abroad and hadn't even touched it. When I came into pick it up the service advisor handed me the keys. When I checked to see what had been done in the way of repairs I found they had done nothing. At the time of dropping the truck off 12 days before they confirmed all required parts were available to complete the repair. The dealership owners son was very unproffesional and rude and said I am off for lunch! This repair started in early September and its to do with a factory recall on the engine block heater and camshaft phases which is a known issue with the F150 2017 truck. Back to the dealership this morning as the owners son is demanding service history. The owners son claims the engine oil needs to be changed every 8000Km and not when the service light comes on. Absolute rip off and I will never visit this dealership again

Drove out from Stoney Creek, purchased a 2018 Ford Explorer, the customer service was excellent up until signing the contract. Picked up the vehicle a week after purchase. Upon returning home it became obvious there was no detailing or cleaning done under the hood along with both doors on the right side. Clearly evident that there was no effort or care. Attempted to contact used sales manager multiple times, he has yet to respond to the message I left for him 4-5 days ago. Disappointing to spend 40000$ and receive my vehicle without a proper detailing and cleaning done. Seems like the dealership doesn't bother with customer service post purchase. Still would like to discuss this with the sales manager if he wishes to return my voicemail.

Brought my Ford Escape 2017 in today for it's first 6 month check up. I got there very early at 620 am. as my apt was at 7 am. Needed to get the check up done and head off to an appointment I had. I was very impressed with Mike who told me to come in from my truck as it was very cold outside this morning. He was opening up early. He showed me where the tea, and coffee was and also the lovely donuts. Very nice. He is a very hard worker and was getting the place ready for 7am.- opening time. Not too many people come into work early so I was very impressed with that. I also come in early on my job getting everything ready before the rush happens at 7 am. He deserves recognition and a dinner voucher at the Keg or his choice. Also Dan Knight went over my car after it was serviced. Hard worker and very professional and polite. Went over the 6 month check up with me. He also deserves recognition and a Keg dinner coupon as well. Saw Andy Fleming who sold me my beautiful Blue Ford escape. He is I believe a top salesman at Ford, very professional and took the time to sit with me to see exactly what I wanted in my Ford Escape. He also deserves a Keg coupon as well. **Additional complaint from new visit to highbury ford. Wife brought car in for driveability issue, turns out it needs its 7th clutch (3rd one in the last 2 months). Service department says they will have the parts ordered, will install Mon July 15. Drop the car off Monday morning, call the service department (because they never call promptly) and turns out they needed to diagnose the problem further (parts were never ordered) so bring the car back Thursday. At this point I would take a street performer more seriously then this dealership. No option for 0 stars so I had to put 1. Worst dealership. Wife bought this car when she was single and got completely ripped off. In addition to the pile of junk the 2014 Focus, the service department couldn’t organize an oil change and tire rotate in under 4 hours. The clutch has been replaced 3 times due to shuddering (class action lawsuit against ford Canada) and many times the technicians said nothing is wrong with the vehicle. It was like driving a mechanical bull. They ordered the wrong parts many times, and when the repairs were taking longer then usual my wife or I were never contacted to say it would take longer, no rental car offered, nothing. Sales department clowns had the balls to ask if they can get us into a newer piece of junk because we weren’t satisfied. This place is a joke.

Currently having a transmission issue with my ‘13 Focus manual. Had the problem since 76,000 kms, showed a video of the mystery noise, only told me if it gets worse to go back. Currently at 98,000kms and was charged $150 in labor for them to drive it around the block because the “part in question can’t be visually inspected unless the transmission comes apart”. Courtesy Ford at least drove it while I was present and suggested a possible fix that they are covering at no cost. Wouldn’t go back to Highbury unless they decide to give my money back for the customer service I didn’t get.

Your facts are correct except for a couple of significant discrepancies and not taking responsibility for the inadequate work completed which is why I was back in last week. Who replaced the HCU and Master cyclinder? The correct answer is HF, not my friend or any other automotive shop. I like how you try and deflect the blame elsewhere. The low brake pressure that I was experiencing was happening since February. The issue wasn't related to my friend replacing the the brakes as the issue pre-existed. You've altered the facts. At first the low brake pressure occurred randomly once every few weeks until if gradually got worse. That's when I replaced the brakes, two weeks prior to taking my car in. Replacing the brakes didn't resolve the issue or make it worse it remained the same. Your trying to blame the brake issue I experienced on someone else or I guess myself since I didn't retain the services of HF to do the work and increase your profits. My point is your deflecting the issue and blaming someone which is not the case. Why was I back in last week? The answer is poor work completed by your technicians during my previous visit or is it normal to have your brake fluid leak after having HF work on it? I had no brake fluid leaking issues prior to taking my car into HF in June, just low brake pressure. First option presented wasn't locating a used HCU but rather get me into a new car. Not until I flipped out about the cost and said keep the car was the option of locating a used part suggested. The most profitably option was the first option. Furthermore, there appears to be a safety issue with Ford Fusion models from 09/10 braking systems. There is an investigation occurring in the US by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration into the issue. For your reference the NHTSA Action number is PE16017 opened on December 20, 2016. I took my vehicle in on Friday, September 22, 2017 due to an issue with my brakes....."low brake fluid". This issue was directly related to the previous work completed on my brakes by Highbury Ford which included replacing the HCU and MasterCylinder. When I took my vehicle in I was to deal with Trevor or the service manager Sean. I asked for Sean and when he came out he didn't even acknowledge me but rather just spoke with the service advisor Adam then walked away. He was literally 2 or 3 feet away from me but ignored me. I'm assuming he's unhappy with our previous encounter regarding bleeding my brakes for 7 business days as I had no pressure in them after they replaced a caliper. I took my Fusion in for low brake pressure but at least my brakes actually worked. This google review is not to deal with my previous issue but rather my visit last Friday. My point is that he completely ignored me and he's the service manager. He never apologized or said we'll look into it and get back to me but instead just walked away. He knew I was previously upset regarding my brake issue including the costs associated with fixing my Fusion but though it was best to just ignore me this time. As it turned out the issue was due to poor work completed by Ford back in early July as the description on my invoice reads, "Found leak at HCU. Tighten fittings on HCU." The slow leak occurred since July until I was completely out of brake fluid in September. Highbury Ford replaced my HCU but didn't properly tighten it. Not sure after all the issues I had back in July how this could happen. Obvious the proper quality and safety standards were not executed on my vehicle. Good thing I didn't lose my brakes while driving to Toronto as who knows what would have happened. I wasn't charged for this service visit as they had to fix a previous mistake but the point is the service manger who handled my case previously ignored me and never apologizes for the inadequate work completed on my brakes.

Terrible experience with staff and service. Bought a brand new car from Highbury Ford. One week later, needed an oil changed and the tires rotated as the dealership did not service the vehicle while it was on their lot. The tires on the BRAND NEW vehicle were old and worn out. Needed the wheels aligned within a week of having the car. Each time we went to speak with a costumer service agent, we would be bounced from one employee to the next having to repeat our concerns over and over again. Each time I would take the vehicle to be repaired/serviced they would have me reschedule several times before they would finally get to the vehicle. In the last 3 months, I’ve had to go in about 10 times. The past few times my husband and I went in we, we requested they change the tires as they were completely worn down. They only rotated the tires, did not change them. Then I was involved in a car accident as a consequence of the worn out tires. After all of this, I spoke to a manager and received zero help.

My wife and son went there recently to test drive a car we had our eye on. They were treated with incredible rudeness by a younger sales person who spoke with an accent and had an obvious attitude problem. He was not the sales person they were dealing with on the car or they would have left immediately. It is very fortunate for this jerk that I was not present at the time. It was a shocking experience for them and when an apology was demanded, a manager did the honours despite demands that the rude individual have the guts to come outside and do it himself. Supposedly he was on a 'conference call'.....10 minutes earlier when I called them, he was 'gone for supper' We will never recommend this dealership to anyone and will go to lengths to tell others of our experience there.

Over the last 16 years my job has required me to drive well over 1.5 million km’s. Only minor wear and tear issues, never been stranded. Owned a Honda and Toyota both let me down, over priced and rated personally. GM was a joke from start to finish. Thanks Bob, family, staff and Ford!????

They charged me 450 dollars to fix the AC , 5 days later , AC is back again not working. I brought it back today to get fixed properly. Manager told me initially that he will only charge me the cost of the part need to be replaced given the fact that I have already paid for the labour. After couple of hours, I called back now they are saying I have to pay 1000 dollars to replace the condenser which cost only 150 dollars. Why should I get charged twice for the labour?why they didn't tell me that from the first visit?

Poor service. The service department blames customers for poorly built vehicles even when brand new. They don’t check if your vehicle is locked, vehicles are broken into all the time. Rude service reps, they will stick you into a contract you cannot get out of. They try to make it on highbury ford credit instead of ford credit to lock you in. Dirty business. I have been to another Ford dealer in London never have I had such a terrible experience after buying the car. All nice till after the purchase them I'm on my own from there out. Highbury Ford had the car I wanted which is a Cruze. So I Tryed again with high bury instead of the other we shall not name. Kal was great and when he was not there Jeff was also great. I am a nit picky person and they still did everything to Make me a happy customer. Those two have restored my faith in the Ford dealerships even if the car was not a Ford haha. I bought a vehicle from this dealer several years ago and Rob Melo was top notch as a salesman. At the same time I believe one of the young owner family members ran the service department. He was as was the service department also great. Now I would avoid this place at all costs. My sister took her 09 Escape there to have an issue looked at and since having the same vehicle as her years ago and the same issue I told her that her ABS warning issue as well as the other symptoms were likely due to a broken “tone ring”. It interacts with the sensor for ABS etc... She was told it would need an entire axles swap and it would cost $600. I immediately called them to ask why not just replace the part as I had it done once to my Escape and did it the second time myself!! Very common problem with older gen Escapes. I was told that when the technician went to get the part it comes up as non serviceable . She called another mechanic who said he could absolutely do it and he did for $130 plus tax. It was actually slightly cheaper then the “diagnostic fee” that this Ford dealer charged even though any mechanic worth anything should have found in about 5 minutes flat. Especially for such a common problem with these vehicles. I would no longer recommend go to see a service advisor at Highbury Ford or service department unless you want to find yourself in a similar situation. You can even google the part and videos of the repair. The part is like $12 dollars. Lol. Not a Highbury Ford. That will be $600 please! And if you don’t get it done here we will refuse to release your car unless you pay $150 dollars for that diagnosis fee.Avoid avoid avoid

After a great experience leasing my F150 from Highbury Ford we decided to return a year later and buy an Explorer. When purchasing, we've had very positive experiences. About 2.5 years into my 3 year lease I was contacted to come in and discuss a possible upgrade. We scheduled an appointment with a member of the sales team. Upon our arrival the sales person didn't have any knowledge of our appointment. They were very shady and were attempting to incorporate our remaining lease payments into a new vehicle by telling us we'd be saving money (monthly) - keep in mind - they contacted us. That was a waste of 2 hours. Months later when attempting to access buyout information for my lease - a simple task - my experience was less than ideal. It took 3 days, countless phone calls and ultimately 2 visits to the dealership where I ended up leaving with a hand typed up note from Jason Vitali which included an arbitrary number $8,000 higher than our actual buyout amount. When asked to see where the number came from he threatened to call the cops and told us to get off of his property. We went back to our sales person, as he was always good to us, and during this time Jason came up to apologize saying he had made a mistake. Fine, we all do, but when we refused to give back his original note for $8,000 more, he physically grabbed the new papers (with the right amount) out of my hands and ran outside. He came back inside and said we could have the real papers if we gave him his made up paper back. This behavior is not only unacceptable, it's actually almost hard to believe that this occurred in a legitimate place of business. Thankfully I have over 11 minutes of it recorded on my phone. I have honestly never had such a terrible interaction in my life. I initially chose Highbury Ford because they were locally owned, but I will never recommend them to anyone again. I would encourage anyone wanting to buy or lease a Ford to visit St Marys or Stratford. If you choose Highbury Ford - good luck to you.

Communicated regularly even AFTER the sale to help me resolve any issues I had. Everyone here was friendly. I was very skeptical about buying a car from a dealership. This was my first time. But Highbury Ford broke every stereotype I had in mind. They really took care of me in every way. My wife needed a drive back from the dealership late at night, and the shuttle service had stopped. Mike helped out. They were professional and courteous in all of our dealings. I grew up in a family that never owned a Ford. I will not hesitate to return here to buy another vehicle. I hope you never have to bring your car in for service at Highbury Ford because you will have a nightmare of a headache. The customer service at the garage is extremely poor and it will take you 10 minutes to be greeted by anyone. Often there will be at least 3 employees standing around but only one, if that, actively helping customers. I have had clutch/transmission problems with my 7 month old automatic 2014 Fiesta and to this date have not had a proper fix. I have been to the dealership 4 times over the past numerous months regarding this issue only to be given 'computer reprogramming' and the complete run-around. My car shakes and shudders and is unsafe to drive in!! I'm extremely disappointed in the quality of Ford's cars and service. I will be selling my car and buying a Nissan. Thanks for nothing!

When I contacted this company I was apprehensive as you hear the horror stories of purchasing a new or used vehicle specially as a female. Yet I was pleasantly surprised with the service. Trevor explained my options well and did what he could to assist me in my many questions, Kirby from finances did not try and over sell me on services. And the manager Ab took time to acknowledge my purchase and offered a view extra perks ( after the sale was complete so of know benefit to himself ). update to my earlier review (see below)-- the service manager posted a reply to me; however, it seems he cares more about being perceived as helpful/open, than actually being helpful/open. He didn't call me until after my complaint was up, several weeks after I'd left him a VM. I called him back, but now a week later he has not called me back. His reply to my complaints suggest I don't know auto shops can be busy; my complaint was that his service personnel don't know how to proactively acknowledge problems with customers, but instead are defensive and reactive. they had my vehicle all day and did nothing. They called towards the end of the day and left a voicemail saying they didn't have time to get to it; when I called back for more information, the woman I spoke to had no information for me. When I pressed her for more information and calmly expressed how unhappy I was, she became extremely defensive. She acknowledged being short staffed and being frustrated with having to talk to unhappy people (I wasn't the first); she only then sarcastically apologized and transfered me to leave a message for the service manager. The service manager never called me back. Overall, they were extremely unprofessional, didn't apologize for what happened, and never called me back to follow-up my complaint.

Fred was very helpful and after listening too our needs he showed us the perfect vehicle for us, a Ford Escape which met all of our needs and more and came in at a lower price then we were ready to pay for a lesser vehicle we had seen at a different dealership. Went in to look at pre-owned vehicles. The young sales guy treated us differently as soon as we told him our budget. Tried to pawn us of as if we weren't worth his time. Extremely rude, arrogant and entitled attitude that probably served him well in high school, but won't in the real world. Won't be back, went to McMaster Chevrolet and were treated with respect and were promptly showed vehicles in our price range.
