very poor customer service at this establishment, the manager doesn't care for his employees nor customers. some employees also make promises towards courtesy washes and services that they cannot keep. that enough of cons for the pros the shop gives fair prices and service in a timely manner. they do not lowball and they do their duties in a professional manner. i recommend using there shop but for purchasing a vehicle please visit Hyundai.

Carly Macdonald is the best salesperson I've ever dealt with. I know jack about cars and she could have robbed me, but instead she went above and beyond in so many ways, I dont really have time to type it all. The price of me Forte was beyond reasonable with 0% financing. Her positive and genuine personality saved me from multiple panic attacks during the process. That process took maybe 1 hour total. I drove away with a brand new car, with no nonsense, no theatrics, no bull - for an incredible price. She is single handedly changing the stigma car sales people have for being slimy. U want no slime - ask for Carly.

After buying a Kia Sorento, only 7 months ago, dealing with customer service for the vehicle is the worst experience of my life, after changing my winter tires at Canadian Tire it was discovered that the back routers were bent and the front routers also needed replacing, I called the petawawa dealership and was told CT is most likely lying but they agreed to give me a free break inspection. When I arrived at the dealership I was told nothing is free, and then the situation got very heated. I was harassed with arguments and accusations, accusing me of hurting the service girls feelings when I called her a liar. Because they did say and booked the appointment for a free break inspection. It ended with me being asked to leave and to never return. After buying the extended warranty now have nowhere to service the vehicle closer than 2 hours away. I do not believe the vehicle was given a proper safety certificate. I have reported this incident to many agencies. Very disappointed with the service provided and request an apology. I do not recommend buying any vehicle from this dealership
Although we didnt buy a vehicle from them in the end, the staff, especially Liz, were very helpful and friendly. The manager definitely tried to help us out.

The service at Petawawa Kia is horrible. I went in to get some quotes on winter tires and rims for a kia soul. I told them I just needed to call my husband and see which ones he wanted. They said that I could call whenever we decide and the tires will be in within a day or two. Two days later I called back. I wanted 4 winter tires and 4 steel rims. It was roughly $2400 I was willing to pay. They said yup no problem they'd order them and call me when they were ready to be picked up. That was 3 weeks ago and still haven't gotten a call. I ordered elsewhere. My husband also broke his key.. called last week to see about a new key. $300 for the key then extra to have them program it. Again I was fine paying the price. They will call when it's ready. Still haven't heard anything back. Going to an automotive locksmith to get a key cut today. I am 5 months pregnant and have appointments in Ottawa. If we lose the broken key we have, we have no vehicle. Just completely unacceptable for customer service. I guess the owners and staff don't really care if they are losing money or not. I will never go back to Petawawa Kia and I'll discourage anyone I know from ever going there.

Have had most of my car work done here. Service center is consistently slow, and mechanics are not too familiar with non-kia vehicles. Had a tire rotation done here, with less than 50km lug nuts were falling off, and almost caused an accident on the 17. Compensation was 5% my next oil change. Basically don't go here. Labour costs is through the roof, I provided the parts and brake change was over $500.00 in labour.
Bought a brand new vehicle here, Bart was really great made it easy and was really nice to deal with.
Staff went well above expectations to help and get me a great rate. Mike (new sales manager) was excellent and open about the whole process. Layne, the sales representative, ensured I was taken care of and helped at any point required.
Ever since the new owner it has gone completely downhill. Loyal customer for several years, had two vehicles through them. Never getting another vehicle with this dealership, and pretty much over Kia. Vehicle needs repairs (still under warranty). Been given the run around for two weeks and will continue to be with out a vehicle for God knows how much longer.

This place is the worst. We purchased a new 2017 Sorento and as part of that purchase they had a remote car starter installed. A few weeks ago the piece of garbage car broke down and to diagnose the issue a KIA dealership charged me over $400 to remove the remote starter. Now my car works but I have no remote starter and it cost over $400. This dealership will not reimburse me or reinstall my starter.
Great dealership as a family we have purchased 8 vehicles from them and always get great service. There products are top quality vehicles love to drive each one we have owned.

On September 30th, 2021 my Husband Jody and I came to the Kia Dealership to look at a few different cars after I had a collision with a Deer on September 20th, 2021. After being to a few different dealerships in the area over the past week we didn’t leave feeling satisfied until we went on a whim to the Kia Dealership in Petawawa. After about 10 minutes of walking around the lot looking at vehicles, a young lady by the name of Carly came out to greet us and asked us if we needed a hand looking at vehicles. She introduced herself and she asked us who we were and asked us a little bit about what brought us to the dealership. After telling her what happened, she asked us what type of vehicle we thought we may be interested in and that she would be glad to help us look inside to see what we might like and if we wanted to look at any at anytime just to let her know and she would be happy to assist us. We told her we were kinda interested in looking at the Kia Forte which was recommended by our Brother-In- Law Jason, but after looking at it we decided it wasn’t a good fit for our growing teenage boys, so we decided to look at the Kia Forte Hatchback but it still wasn’t quite what we were looking for. Lastly just before we decided we were leaving, Carly mentioned about the Kia Sportage. My husband and I would said we would like to take a look at it as it was kinda close to the Tucson we had as a rental vehicle. We took a look at the White AWD Sportage, then decided we wanted to take a look at it and take it for a test drive. After driving it we figured we were getting closer to finding a match to what we were looking for. After coming back to the lot we then looked at a Dark Grey Pewter Colour Sportage with a beautiful sun roof and all the extra features but decided we didn’t really need all the extras and thought we could manage without. So after looking at the Pewter Sportage we decided to go with the White one. We had to go inside to talk numbers and get a price on the White Sportage that we just test drove. After giving us the run down of the price and warranties and other packages offered she left her office to let us talk it out alone and come to an agreement. We decided to go ahead with the purchase, and the rest is history!! The one thing we will say is…!!! Carly is a natural at what she does. She came out and introduced herself and asked us to do the same. She got to know us a little bit while gathering information about why we were there and how she could help us. In a short time she gained our trust. She wasn’t a pushy sales person. She listened to what we had to say and didn’t try and push us into something we weren’t comfortable and less affordable in our budget. My husband and I felt very comfortable dealing with Her and how she handled herself during the sale. I feel she had our best interest at heart while she got to know our needs and our families needs. To me right there is the key to selling cars. Not only was she not some annoying sales person, she treated us with dignity and respect. It literally felt like friends just talking about cars. She was very knowledgeable about the cars she helped us with. It was by far the best service we have ever received from any dealership..!! Purchased a 2016 vehicle, Sales rep Andrew was fantastic, very knowledgeable..I just thought I would do a once over on the vehicle, a week later and air filter was black as night and cabin air filter was stuffed with leafs, so never checked.. not a big deal, but come on, wipers did not work, when I tried them next day after purchasing the vehicle, turns out fuse was missing, so my question, how did it pass Safety...? They never checked it.. maybey A simple mistake, little things, but I will not be buying my other new vehicle from that dealership. I will go to Ottawa..Shame because like I said the salesman was great...

Do not go here. This place is an absolute joke. I tried to give them multiple chances. I went in to inquire about purchasing a new Kia (current Kia owner), test drivers a vehicle gave them all the correct information: they checked my credit that day, no problem. I had a baby the week after so didn’t follow up right away. I called after 5 weeks of not hearing from them. Was not given a straight answer from anyone. I was given excuses about kayden and Jesse. I was then told I wouldn’t be approved, fine no problem (although there’s no reason I shouldn’t be approved as I have a brand new vehicle that I had no problem being approved for previously). Went to the dealership I bought my first vehicle from, approved right away with 0-% financing. And then!!!!! Three days ago petawawa checks my credit 4 times, dinging my credit and a month after I had already said I’d take my business elsewhere? They did not have permission to do that, and have no yanked my credit score doing so. This place is an absolute joke. It is run so horribly, I even had the oil filter out on wrong after an oil change! They just don’t care here!

Terrible. Beyond disappointed with Petawawa Kia...severely lacking in the area of customer service ....probably one of the worst experiences I've had. You've lost my business and potentially the business of anyone who cares to ask my opinion. Also, someone should be buying coffee for the receptionist every day for having to deal with the unpleasant, frustrated customers that your lack of professionalism, gumption, motivation and customer service may create.

Words cannot explain the gratitude and pure appreciation I have for Carly and the Kia team. I called “16” different Kia dealerships looking for a specific car. So you can imagine my frustration, call after call. When I say Carly was the MOST accommodating and patient with me I mean it. I called her multiple times and never did she make me feel like I was bothering her, or wasting her time. Carly and the Kia team went above and beyond to accommodate all my special requests, and my over excitement to get the car as soon as possible. This was a great experience, I couldn’t be happier!
The service at KIA Petawawa is great and really saved me after a breakdown on a road trip. I had to get towed to the nearest dealership and luckily it was them. Niki the assistant service manager is honestly amazing. She was super attentive keeping me informed about the status of my repair the entire time and informing me of additional recall work that had to be done, then she was very accommodating when i had to drive 4 hours from my house to come get the car. 5 stars for KIA Petawawa and 5 stars for Niki in the service department.
Inquired about an over 1 year old 2020 Telluride sx with 35000kms...it's priced at $58999 but a new one is $51000. When I emailed about descrepency they responded that "The price we are asking for the vehicle is due to the fact They are hard to get right now and take 3/4 months to get in, Most people want the vehicle right away! " So they are price gouging by over $8000 of the price of a new vehicle! Will never look at a car at Petawawa Kia again!

Mike the "general manager" is the most unprofessional sales person i have ever encountered in my life. How he got to where he is now is beyond me. You do not speak to potential clients with an attitude from the get go. Not only that, you do not kick out clients and refuse service without an explanation. Not only will I not be visiting this location or any Kia dealerships again, I will also warn others from doing business with them.
Today has been a trying day... I am from Red Deer Alberta and deal with kia here. The kia in Red Deer has been nothing but disappointing so I decided I should call around to different kia dealerships to see how they would deal with my situation. I was very stressed and probably not the easiest to cope with taking a call from. I spoke to the team @ Petawawa and everyone I spoke with was super helpful. I then took the time to call them probably 4 times throughout the day with questions and concerns that were all answered promptly and no one even seemed annoyed with me which I may have been if i was on the other end of frustrated me lol. Everyone was so friendly!! I would like to give Niki a shout out!!! She spent hours listening to me and gave me all the advice she could. (which again was more than red deer could do) Sorry this is soooooo long but THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!

Worst dealership and customer service ever, We purchased our 2019 Kia van in October with 26KM on it from Petawawa only to have to bring it back five times to the dealership because we had no heat. On the fifth trip in they ended up keeping our new van for almost four months while they were waiting on a new thermostat. When we finally got it back we had heat but barelyt. We then ended up bringing it to Kanata where the dealership there finally got the issue fixed after about two weeks. Petawawa also installed an auto start which they ended up not doing correctly and we had many issues starting the van with or without the auto start. Now frustrated with the dealer in Petawawa we took it back down to Kanata where they ended up doing a rewire and finally got it fix. We are also told by that dealer that Petawawa never took the van out of shipping mode meaning we were driving this van with disengaged air bags. Now a year later we take or van in to have the winter tires installed only to find out that the whole rear of the van needs a complete break job after 30K of miles. Contacted Kia in Petawawa and they said they couldn’t help because Kanata had serviced the van. So called the Kanata dealership and they asked me to bring it down. They kept the van for 2 weeks and said it wouldn’t be covered. Not sure why as the warranty book says on page 6 that breaks’ are covered to 60k or 3 years and we are not at either of these stages yet. So I then contacted Kia Canada and told them about the horrible things that have been going on with this van and after a few days were told it wouldn't be covered. This has been the worst experience of our lives we ended up trading in this van after only a year for a Toyota. Kia should be ashamed of themselves not only did you cheat us out of a warranty but most importantly you put the lives of my family at risk when you handed over the van in shipping mode. This was our first and last Kia product ever. So left with no choice I traded in a new van after a year for a Toyota. With the current trend of this van I can only imagine what will go wrong next. As Kia doesn't honour their warranties so what's the point of having a new vehicle. I really hope that if a customer is reading this review that you stay clear of Kia. They are dishonest and have no intentions of honouring their warranties. I have lost a lot of money from time I've missed from work bring my van back for the same repairs, along with gas. If you are thinking of buying a Kia please turn away you will honestly be sorry for buying one.
I purchas car from them last 2 month and car break very much. car look like this before and after. Very unsafe secondhand car, I got away with a broken shoulder after accident. Airbags did not deploy.
Service centre is rip off. Charge flat rates did 3 hrs of work if that charge for 4 hrs of work because that what was in the book. Could have had ot done by local shop for half the price.

First time buying a new car ..I had a great experience Carly made it fun & stress free along with the help of Zack . They both gave their all to get me in the car I wanted . Going into dealerships you don’t know what to expect due to what you hear from others but going to Kia Petawawa I would recommend to anyone all staff friendly , welcoming and put their all into making the customers leave happy . 5 stars ???? service department has turned me off of Kia for good. Extremely poor communication between mechanic, service rep, parts, and manager. Nobody takes proper notes. Nobody remembers what they said last week. I have been told that the light switch for my 2 year old car just doesn't exist, and there's nothing they can do about it. On top of that, I have been trying to get my door handles fixed for the last 4 months, with the initial diagnosis being that 2 handle assemblies needed to be replaced, but they wouldn't cover it because I had my car undercoated. After weeks of fighting Krown and Kia, and 3 trips to the dealer for further diagnosis, I told them to just order the damn things and I would pay out of pocket. Waited weeks. Phoned to find out what was going on. Apparently they got lost somehow... I think they never got ordered. Manager said they would put in a rush order and it would be here in 1-2 days. Week goes by so I phone. Didn't get ordered. Manager says it will be paid for out of the courtesy budget. Door handles come in. I make another trip, wait an hour and a half for them to tell me the seals didn't come with the handles and I would have to come back. I make another trip, and they didn't even replace the handles. Just the seals. Service rep told me warranty wouldn't cover it. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE PAID BY THE DEALER. TL;DR service is abysmal and I am never going back

Had a bad experience here when it was under previous management. Since new management took over I decided to try them again as I really enjoy KIA as a reliable vehicle. I needed to upgrade my forte to an SUV to accomodate my growing family. Brennan and Zach were very helpful and worked with me. Zach got everything said and done within 24 hours, and I picked up my new vehicle. Based on this service they have redeemed the previous bad experience and I will continue to take my business there.

Worst dealership I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Tried to buy a car from them last year. Went in, applied for credit, no response. waited over 2 weeks. Called again and spoke to someone who said they would have someone call me back, another week and no response. Ended up going to Ottawa and purchased a 2018 Kia Soul that same day. Fast forward to today, went in to get an oil change and service done to my Kia, was told they couldn't fit me in for something as basic as an Oil change until at least 4 (which I work at) and then tomorrow the earliest was 3pm. Said I would go to Oil Changers and they told me to have fun. What ever happened to being able to drive in for an oil change and back out within 30 minutes. I would NOT recommend this dealership. Spend the extra time and save money by going to Ottawa.
Purchased a 2020 equinox from these guys About a month ago. Friendly enough people. However attention to detail and communication amongst themselves was infuriating. It took three try’s to deliver the vehicle. First time I tried to pick it up it had not even seen the detail shop as I was of course promised by the sales pitch. A few items I had specifically mentioned to the salesman were not even looked at. So I gave him the keys back and said I’d be back the next day, fast forward to the next day we come back for the should be positive experience to pick up our new car we just dropped 30k on…. Engine bay got missed this time….. not joking . It was honestly shocking I felt like I was dealing with grown up high school kids. After now finally loosing my cool abit and ruining the great experience of picking up a new car. Three trips to the dealership to pick up a car no one seems to car to prepare for us. To be fair the sales manager offered a free detail and a free oil change for all the trouble, however I think with what was proven by the level of service they provided I’ll be not even taking the free detail and oil change. Don’t recommend this place. For a branded dealership I was shocked. Nice enough people, disorganized chaos….

My experience in the last few weeks as a Kia customer has been exceptional. There is a new GSM and he has been wonderful. He has changed the whole Kia experience. It has gone from someone who wants to do nothing for their customers to having someone who cares about you and wants to do the best he can to get you what you want and need. The parts counter has become so much more pleasant and helpful. There is actually a parts person who is willing to go to the utmost lengths to find/help you with what you need. My experience in the past has not ever been like this but now that I have purchased my new vehicle and they actually have a great staff I feel like things are so much better. I would recommend that any one looking to get a nice car with great features at a great price go see the petawawa crew. As stated above past experience says that Kia is definitely looking up and that to me is great.

Was looking to trade in a vehicle for another used one, spent about an hour on the lot and found 2 we were interested in. Were told that they would have to crunch some numbers on the trade in and give us a call back, claiming they would call later that day or the next day. Never received a call. Called back a few days later to find out that the vehicle we were interested in had been tentatively sold. Extremely unprofessional, considering during our time in there they had horrible things to say about the previous owners of the dealership, yet they fail to offer a better experience. Would not recommend even considering this dealership. Spend the little extra on gas and buy elsewhere. They may actually call you back.
