About a month ago we came to look at 2 vehicles at Honda, we were actively looking to buy and showed high interest. The sales person said they would get back to us after detailing the cars. A month passed and we did not hear a single word from the person, no email, no phone call to inform us what had happened with those vehicles that left a real sour taste in our mouth as the customer service by this sale person in particular was just terrible. After much hesitation we found ourselves back there to look at another vehicle with Leslye, she was amazing from the beginning of the process to the end. We have young children so going in time and again isn't so simple between work and life, she managed everything smoothly for us over the phone and constantly communicating through texts for updates and status. Not to mention we got a great vehicle in our price range ????. Extremely happy with the service that she provided, if you're gonna buy a vehicle here, she's the person to see, she actually cares for her customers. She easily gets 5 stars. The first person, whom I will not name, would get 0 stars and would never get a sale from us.

They will lie to you. My Civic (still under comprehensive warranty) started making some grinding/squealing sounds so I took it in to Pembroke Honda. They claimed the brake pads were metal on metal. I declined to have them replaced (brakes are the easiest thing for shops to scam you on) and checked myself when I got home. Had to take pictures of the almost new pads (pic attached) and send them to the service manager to get them to admit they "miscommunicated" and get the cost of their inspection refunded. Still no diagnosis on the sound. I had another mechanic replace the brake pads to be sure that wasn't the cause (and it wasn't) but now Pembroke Honda is claiming it is the new brake pads that are causing the problem because now they aren't Honda pads - yes, the sound started before the pads were ever changed. Anything to avoid warrantied work (has to come out of the customer's pocket to "pay the technicians for the work that they do" - So said the service manager). Do NOT recommend this shop, or any Honda product, especially warranties.

Bill did a great job at getting me all the information I needed in order to make a decision. I am very happy with my purchase and it was worth the drive from Ottawa. Got my civic serviced here 3 times in the past 3 years or so for regular oil changes, filter changes and tire rotations. I went to another shop this time around and they said my wheels were seized on. Clearly these guys weren't rotating my tires at all so I won't be coming back here ever again. Wouldn't trust them ever.

Had a positive experience shopping Pembroke Honda. Damien helped me pick out a quality off-lease Honda Insight. The financing was relatively painless, and the pre-service of the vehicle including detailing seems excellent. but... First service had some hiccups when I had my winter tires installed. After leaving the shop, the low tire pressure warning came on. After calling the shop, and investigating the issue myself, Pembroke Honda had me come in right away to trouble shoot the problem. They managed to troubleshoot the issue, and I'm back on the road without any warning lights. Ben from the customer service was great help. Thanks

Bought a new Honda Accord touring in 2014....After driving the car for a few years getting my regular maintenance everything was good. After getting my regular maintenance oil change, two days later when I was going to start my car I heard a loud rattle coming from my engine compartment. I shut the car off and thought to default by checking the oil to notice there wasn't a drop of oil indicated on the dipstick. I immediately added oil and brought the car to Pembroke Honda service and voiced my issue and concern, of which they denied. After this incident my car never sounded or performed the same. I had my timing chain replaced at ~200k for $1500 and when it was given back to me to bring it back in for a oil change of which they did 2 times while the timing chain was being replaced oddly enough. I had the oil change and for a few months no issues. In early November I was driving to Belleville and heard a loud sound banging under the hood and I immediately pulled over and had it tow to Honda in Belleville. After going over the car they noticed metal shavings in the oil and I called Pembroke Honda. They said they would call Belleville Honda and get back to me. Pembroke didn't get back, but Belleville did and they said Pembroke noticed metal shavings in my oil as well when they did my timing chain, but didn't let me know and proceeded with putting in a timing chain. I emailed Honda Canada and they said it's between myself and Pembroke Honda. Belleville Honda got back to me after their full diagnosis and said my pistons were breaking down and the motor would have to be replaced. I had to make the decision to replace it for $3200 and email Pembroke Honda once again to not have them respond. I will never buy another or service my vehicle in Pembroke ever again, as it's the worst customer service I've ever had and will echo my situation to those considering Pembroke Honda.

It’s all about Leslye and Line ! I was in the market for a specific type of vehicle. AWD, Manual transmission, SUV style. Pembroke Honda had an ad in Autotrader that said they had just that in a used Subaru Crosstrek. The problem , I thought, was that they were four hours away from where I lived. Not an issue at all! Leslye took the time to answer my questions, take extra photos of the vehicle, message me off hours to accommodate my work schedule AND reassure me not to worry about the distance because: “ I took care of you! You'll love it and you'll send all of your friends out this way :) “ Line helped guide me through the finance process and answered all my financial questions, she was prompt and courteous and at no time did I feel she was doing anything to push me to make a decision that would not be in my best interest! Overall I am quite pleased with my buying experience, am glad that I went with Pembroke Honda and would have no issues recommending my friends to make that drive to get the buying experience they deserve!

They were great when I bought the car, but after that, their service was terrible. I bought a car in the spring of 2021, used. It didn't come with the second key, so they tried for 2-3 months to get it from the original owner but didn't, then took another week to make the second key. Fast forward to this November (2021) i went to put on the winter tires I got with the car, they weren't the right size, rim and tire. I called them about and they said they would get me a new set. 2 weeks went by, heard nothing, I called each week, they said they were working on it, until the third week I called and they said their general manager was finding the tires for me. They called me the next day saying they had the tires, I did the exchange, brought them home, they were all season tires, not winters. Not happy that I never got callbacks with updates, always had to call them and just seemed like they didn't care about the service they were giving me at all. This car was my first big purchase and being young, getting this service at a young age, being taken advantage of, not happy, do not recommend them at all, not happy at all, especially if you're a first time buyer and young, they will take advantage of you.

Danyelle is always an unpleasant person to deal with, if you have any questions or concerns she gets angry and defensive and lashes out at customers. Its very unprofessional and awkward to be around especially when you just have some questions you would like answered. The mechanics are under trained and can only perform very basic labor. I felt that a review for this car dealership was necessary so I can inform others to not waste their gas money and time to come to this Pembroke Honda dealership. I want to bring to the attention of their customers and the Honda company of my worst experience at a car dealership. I had to drive 5 hours with my significant other to this dealership to check out this car which I was told prior to the drive by the manager that the car was in perfect condition (no imperfections). I specifically asked the MANAGER this as I did not want to waste my time coming out of the way to see this car I was interested in buying. Once I arrived and got into the car, I noticed this huge patch on the leather car seats which was badly torn and scratched (the leather seats was one of the reasons I specifically wanted this car). This is something that isn’t easily missed and when I confronted the manager about it, he simply said he was not aware of this damage and that he never looked in the interior of the car. I wouldn’t have driven 5 hours away knowing this damage was there and just had to find this out on my own, which is not fair. I’m not sure what kind of salesperson, especially the manager of the dealership wouldn’t check the interior of a sports car when they’re aware a serious buyer is coming a long way to make business... Additionally, when I took this car for a test drive I noticed the hand brake had literal dirt and filth on it, I have never seen anything more disgusting. This dealership did not even try to sanitize or present this car in a professional matter at all when there is an actual global pandemic occurring. This instantly made me not want to buy this car. Furthermore, I was parked in the dealership having a discussion with my significant other while the staff and manager were closing up for the day. They left shortly after, then when I was ready to leave I noticed they did not give me my ownership of my vehicle back when they returned my license prior. So I had to wait another 30 minutes until the manager could come back to give me my ownership. This was the worst experience I have had at a car dealership and want to inform others the way the manager handled this situation, so they don’t get lied to or waste their time.

We're thrilled with our purchase experience with Damien for a used car. Initially I've request 10-15 additional photos of the interior as I'm very meticulous and was provided with even more from every angle I asked by him. Throughout the 2 weeks process all of my questions were answered almost instantly and Damien went well above and beyond even my sky-high expectations. The car was detailed very nicely by the guys at the shop - taking care of minor scratches and making the interior look like new. Do not come here for service appointments! Will rip you off! I called for an oil change and they tried to upsell "brake maintenance" I said no. But when I came in for the oil change the guy at the counter says my car is due for many other "performance maintenance tasks". He told me they were required to keep my warranty. (Including the brake maintenance which cost $200) At the end of the day I walked out with a $720 bill which caused me to go home and read my warranty agreement for my 2019 CRV. Only a few of the tasks performed were actually required to maintain the warranty. My bill should have been under 300$ not 720!

He went above and beyond to make sure my car was serviced properly (my breaks needed to be serviced and they wanted to charge me initially but because of my Kms it falls under a specific warranty) he even went back on an issue I had with my last service and got me a refund for a service I was told was a recall but got charged for. I highly recommend if you take your vehicle to Honda you ask specifically for Tyler. From now on anytime my car has to go to Pembroke Honda I will book with him! My battery was completely drained while camping in the middle of nowhere and i had no way to get to the closest Honda dealership. While we did have Honda Assist, it didn't provide for transportation to the dealership which was over 100 kms away. Pembroke Honda not only came to pick up the vehicle but also came back the next day to pick us up and bring us back to the dealership. Everytime I come here for regular maintenance its a nightmare. They have forgot to properly install heat shield back on my car and it flew out from under my car onto another car. I have sat waiting in waiting room today for two hours for an oil change only to be told they will come get me and it still sits. This is only a few issues. Will never buy from here again or have my regular service done here

Bought my 2020 civic with them and we loved dealing with Pembroke Honda. We dealt directly with the manager, Moe, and he was wonderful. Very direct and up front with us and he worked to give us the best price possible and we really felt he did and wasn't just saying it. We also dealt with Leah Driver and she was fantastic as well! Again, very upfront and honest. Our 4 and 5 year old were with us each time as well and they were so good with them too. We didn't feel like they were an inconvenience. They weren't pushy, they allowed us to take our time in our decision process etc. Overall it was a great buying experience and I feel confident in our purchase.

I would not recommend shopping here. I communicated via text with a sales rep on a Saturday morning about a used car before driving 2 hours to go see it. Once we arrived he was unable to find the keys. After about 15 minutes he told us the car was sold the previous day and wasn't labeled as sold by another sales rep. Mistakes happen. He was apologetic. I made an offer on another car. We went inside after about 15 minutes and I had to ask him for my driver's license since he hadn't returned it. Dealership Sales ethics are rock bottom. My family and I have bought Honda vehicles there since it was Healy Honda (30+ years ago). They took unfair advantage of my 85 year old widowed mother. "Donny & the Sales Manager" sold her a 2017 Honda Fit with a extended 7 year warranty pkg., special Police identification stickers, locking wheel pkg and any other fraudulent scam they could convince her she needed. My mother was a repeat, long time customer buying a vehicle alone for the first time. I no longer recommend them to any family and friends. Honda Canada needs to address this shameful behaviour.

She worked with me to get more than I expected for my trade in plus other discounts. She also didn't push at all to take a sale photo to post to their social media, which was very cash money of her. Worst car buying experience I've ever had. I purchased my vehicle this past may. There was no transparency on total cost. Their database for the final bill of sale didn't add up correctly. Apparently they had a recent system upgrade that had glitches. There were too many "misunderstandings". I also didn't want the $99 wheel locks on my vehicle but they had them on and still charged me. When I told the finance manager that I didn't want the wheel locks, he said that "the paperwork was already done". They did give me one free oil change but I'm not going to take it. I'm not going back. I'm only giving 1 star because it's required in order for me to post but I wouldn't even give them 1 star.

Danyelle in the service department is extremely rude and very unprofessional. I was in to change my summer tires over, and have recall worked done. When I approached the desk, Danyelle looked at me and said, "What?", in a rude tone. Not a great, welcoming greeting at all. I was taken aback as I was not expecting to be greeting in such a manner. In the future I would consider going else where for my vehicle services. My husband and I purchased our vehicle from this particular Honda dealership and were happy with the sales team, had I known the service department would be this way I would have considered going else where.

Service here is awful. They didn’t actually solve the problem I went in for (electrical) and instead “found” other issues. They even claimed they were safety issues and I shouldn’t drive my vehicle. However, my vehicle had just been looked at 2 weeks previously and none of those issues were a problem then. I sought another opinion regarding the work they said I so desperately needed and just one clip needed replacing but definitely no where near the extent nor the safety issues they claimed. Further, I’m still waiting for their urgent next morning call back…almost a week later.

Have never felt very comfortable buying cars as I don't have much experience with cars. Recently bought one from Pembroke Honda. Malvin was who I worked with to find the right vehicle. I found him very low pressure and open and honest. He would call when he thought he had found something that I might like and always made sure to point out that it wasn't to try and pressure me into a purchase. He was patient for nearly two months which I imagine would have been frustrating for him. What i liked was that he has continued to follow up after the purchase which would lead me to believe that he honestly cares about making sure people are happy with their purchase instead of only appearing to be until you sign the final document. Malvin cared more about how I felt and actually got to know me vs. caring about just getting a sale and moving on to the next person. He definitely made the decision to buy the HR-V 100% easier and helped it be a smooth process. While I didn't end up purchasing a vehicle with Pembroke Honda I did get to have a rare experience with a sales associate named Damien. Great customer service skills, a happy and genuine demeanor to be as helpful and courteous as I have experienced in vehicle shopping and while I was set on a Toyota RAV4 I did indeed end up buying a 2016 CRV so I will be dealing with Pembroke Honda in the future. I conveyed my positivity with the GM and he contacted me the same day to thank me for my kudos towards Damien and backed my CRV purchase happily even though I didn't purchase from Pembroke Honda. I am sure I will be back there for vehicle service and certainly when I go vehicle shopping again down the road. Pembroke Honda will be at the top of my list to start with a sales team like this! I bought a Honda Accord 2013 last month. Honda Pembroke sold me a bad car and are not willing to take responsibility for it. The management will lie as much as they can to sale you a car. I would not recommend anyone to purchase a vehicle from there. If you do please make sure you record or document all what they say. I am still waiting to take my car back to them and get it fixed. It seems to me that they don't have time when ever I call. The worse experience ever and I regret going there. They don't care about customer service. I was in contact with the owner who assigned Adam who is the directer of Honda to deal with my situation, he totally ignore the issue and started to put the blame on me and told me there is nothing they can do.
