The service was above and beyond what any expectations I had. This was my first time that I came to this Dealership because I moved here from Kenora Ont, and the jeep was performing just fine but was making a ticking noise. I called the dealer and they had me booked in the next day,I was called before any labour was done,given an estimate by phone for labor costs,and approximate time. When they called me with what was going to be a big job they also gave me a quite for cost of repairs. They even offered a loaner if they get it back. They young ladies were attentive,kind and responded quickly to my inquiries. The mechanic was really knowledgeable and even showed me the failing part. I was very impressed with the dealership here in Petawawa, Ontario. And I'd like to thank them very much!

I love my new Ram. I had spoken with Jennifer about a laramie in the summer but wasn't prepared to pull the trigger. When the November rebate came out I called her right away. Being from Ottawa it's a bit of a drive but the service lapointe provides made it all worth while. The appraisal of my trade in was fair and we were able to discuss an agreeable price on my new Ram very quickly. Jennifer's knowledge of the products shines through. It is refreshing to speak with a sales person with such a background in the mechanical side. I have already recommended her to several of my friends who are looking for new trucks.

Its simple really, match what the Ottawa dealership was offering or watch her walk away from the deal. Happens a lot in the car industry, as a sales person or a sales manager OR GENERAL MANAGER, you should know that. Just didn't expect someone to lose their job over it. My husband purchased a brand new vehicle from Lapointe. The day we picked it up, they told us they'd inspected it and let it run for 15 minutes. When we got in, it was ICE COLD. They had forgotten to install a critical heating component. When we picked it up a second time the check engine light was on. Again, this car was supposed to be brand new, clearly they lied when they said they inspected it. They do NOT care about their customers or quality. I advise you go literally ANYWHERE ELSE.

Was not told an estimate of the cost of installing my new tires. So I figured it would be a usual $80 but nope the most expensive in The Valley at $128 plus tax. I don't mind supporting local but I don't like paying more for services then larger garages or service centers. After I posted my initial review above I was contacted by the Manager of Lapointe Chrysler and was given an apology for what happened and offered a credit on my account. So I do appreciate that kind of service.

After being given the green light to go up and check it out, we drove a total of 6 hours only to get there and be told that they think this one might have actually sold.. which it had. Went in to finance My first car, there was a couple hiccups because of my age at the time and my occupation, but they got through it all and got me in a brand new dodge dart for the fraction of the price for a new one because it had a couple thousand km on it so it was considered "used" at the time I dealt with willow as my sales person and she was great, but everyone else there was friendly and awesome, to this day every time I get my car serviced it's always on time and out when they tell me it's going to be done!

On my recent adventures searching for the perfect truck, there was alot of hit and misses. I sat for WEEKS on Autotrader, scoping out the options and how far I'd have to travel them. After having an adventure doing that, I got so discouraged because of the pricing and salesmen trying to scoop my pockets for everything I have. I gave up completely. Until I discovered Lapointe Chrysler. I went on their website out of curiosity, and saw the exact truck I was looking for, at an ASTRONOMICAL price. After showing interest , Ethan gave me a call to set up viewing the truck. He was nothing but professional, down to earth, and the friendliest salesman you'd ever meet. He made me feel like I could ask him anything , and he'd go out of his way to get you the answers. Truthfully, I was making him do laps around the dealership getting precise answers to all my questions. Because of him, we made a deal that day. He then sent me to Ada, the finance manager, to finalize the deal and the great service didn't stop there. Nothing but friendly and ready to answer anything pertaining to the financial portion. She worked tirelessly (sorry) to get the finances all sorted out and good to go. Out of all my car buying experiences, this was BY FAR the best one. HUGE thank you to Ethan and Ada for getting me into the truck I wanted, being patient and jumping through hurdles to get the deal done. I’ve been lucky enough to own some exotic cars that have been sold and serviced by the likes of Porsche, BMW and RangeRover, but they all pale in comparison to the bighearted, sincere people who work at Lapointe and Renrew. The TRX in black is almost impossible to find and dealers in Toronto who only have orange or white are selling them for $30,000 OVER MSRP! Not only did o get a way better deal, but it took both stores and like 5 staff to pull this deal together in record time. Tiffany made sure it all came together, finding a way over each hurdle as it came up in process. I put the deposit down on Friday, showed up at 11am on Tuesday and drove off the lot at 8:30pm that night. The whole team stayed late for me. All in all it was my best buying experience ever. I’d give them six stars if it was possible. Thanks guys.

Excellent dealership. Highly recommend Lapointe. Service and parts department have great service and sales force is on their game with product knowledge. They have one of the best Jeep selections in Ontario. Jeep seems to be one of their focus areas with plenty of offerings, and "pre-upgraded" rigs. If you own a Jeep, they know their stuff. The lot is cramped so take your time driving in.

To be honest, disappointing on 2 fronts: Sales: tried to price match from another dealer and buy local, comms fell off the rails and never heard from them after a few back and forths Service: brought car in to check alignment and steering, they claimed it was just the road but I insisted and they did an alignment and adjusted the front end caster and camber. Lo and behold, the car was tracking better afterwards. Took 4 hours to get it done though. Probably never again.

Not a place anybody should leave $60,000 of their money! First impression was as negative as the last one before walking out! It looked like a shady old timer casino! I got bounced from sales person to sales person to manager...he kept going back to make the call, to who nobody knows! When you only show what it would be the monthly payment without showing the whole worksheets of numbers, something is wrong! They were emphasizing on the amazing deal-event nobody get beat, adorned with balloons and Chrysler sales rep, I didn't get the deal I was willing to settle for; but I can tell you that even if they did and being able to drive back home with that beautiful new truck, I wouldn't complete the deal! Just didn't feel right about anything there. Think twice before walk in there. Good luck.

The service center here has by orders of magnitude the slowest and most unprofessional staff I've ever seen. If you are getting anything done bring a laptop or something because even a tire change will take you TWO HOURS. Went in to look at a used RAM, ended up having my debit card held hostage by the Sales reps. Asked 5 times for it back, took some yelling to get it back. Awesome sales technique. Would recommend taking the drive to Ottawa. If I could give them a Negative star I would. I was travelling from Alberta to Newfoundland pulling a trailer. We stopped in Pembroke for five days and during that time I put my car in the garage for a "Peace of Mind" check. I explained the situtation to them. They were polite and gave me back the car saying everything was fine and charged me approximately $100. That evening a friend noticed that my rear tires were a little worn. I told her I had it into the garage and they never mentioned anything. I hooked the trailer back up and continued on the journey. Just outside of Moncton NB, about 12 hours from Pembroke, the rear passenger tire blew out. I called a tow truck, they were going to replace it with the spare but they noticed the drivers side tire was in just as bad of a condition. They put it up on the tow truck and showed me. YOU COULD SEE THE WIRES in the tire. The tow truck brought me to Turo and I ended up having the spend the next five nights in a hotel there, because we missed our ferry crossing and were no ferry's available. I put my car in for a "Peace of mind check" to minimize this possiblity. Now comes the kicker. I have called Lapointe three times. Left THREE detailed messages since Sept 2, 2020. I asked the speak with the service department rep and each time they have told me they would pass on the message to her. The people I have spoken to have been pleasant, but the service manager has not contacted me. The "Peace of Mind check" they charged $100 for was about 15 mins long and I now wonder what they actually did. Why will the service manage not call me black and will they give me a refund. The first person I spoke with (a male) was very polite and asked me what I wanted from them. I told him an applogy would be nice and a refund for the $100, although I ended up having an extra bill of nearly $1000 for five nights in a hotel, food, and a towing bill. I am deeply disappointed in Lapointe and this has certainly tarnished Dodge's reputation for me. I think next time I purchase a new vehicle I will be switching from a Dodge to something else. And to think this all could have been avoided with a quick phone call to me. Deeply disappointed. Update: Oct 3, After this review was read, the sales manager reached out to me, connected me with the service department and gave me a refund for the cost of the service and gave me an apology. Fact is: I could have been out way more that $1000 and I could have been dead on the side of the road. The manager did say that she watched the video from the bay and the mechanic went through the inspection. Grateful I did get a refund of the cost of the "peace of mind inspection".

Overall, doing business with them got me a sizeable amount for my trade in (Jeep Rubicon) , and into a vehicle that was acceptable in terms of capability, value, and equipment/features (Jeep Gladiator Mojave). This trade wasn't necessary for us, we didn't have any plans to move out of our old vehicle, but when presented with a sizeable offer/trade value, i reached out to 5 or so dealerships to have my Rubicon appraised,(ottawa, renfrew, toronto, burlington, oakville) i was surprised they were willing to go to those lengths, and pay us that much to get us into the new vehicle. for reference i bought my rubicon as a used 2018 vehicle in 2019 with 21,000 kms on it costing me $47,100 tax in , i traded it in for a value of $47,900 with 54,000 kms paying off my lein of $34,000 which gave me a positive value of $13,900. this to me was acceptable enough to even consider another vehicle, as we weren't in the market, nor motivated to buy anything, the amount that was offered was worth my time in hearing what they had to say/offer. While i did feel like everything took far longer to accomplish in terms of sealing the deal, it did pan out accordingly, as i found i had to continue to point out flaws in the deal, flaws in the numbers, or in chasing down their finance rep to finalize my paperwork. as a consumer, doing this much leg work is somewhat ridiculous. to summarize, my experience could have in fact been somewhat better, but things worked out to make it all come together. -Thanks Joel, Tiffany & Team

I can't comment on the service for cars as I was only there with my sister who was getting her van an oil change. It is first come first serve. The staff helped us to connect to their free wifi. They had complimentary hot beverages. The washroom was kept very clean. They had photo copies of sheets that had puzzles to do.

Ok so I have never left a review before and I am pleased to say that I'm happy it is a good one. I have dealt with Lapointe's in Pembroke a few times and the service was ok. However three days ago I contacted Mike, the sales rep I dealt with previously. Bottom line is that I needed to upgrade my vehicle and I had almost zero time to go and sit in the showroom and do the normal sales thing. Mike went above and beyond and had everything arranged the next day for road test and basically sign for it. The entire process took not even 24 hrs he was extremely accommodating . Mike keep doing what you are doing thanks alot awesome job!!!

I couldn't get a straight answer as to what they actually give a military discount on, even though they have a sign stating they offer a military discount. They tried to deny me warranty work stating my warranty was up even though it clearly wasn't. Overall a purely negative experience dealing with them.

He never had a trade, clearly there was no manager present if you cant remember seeing my kid there. Your salesman have no hope in selling cars for this dealership. He was there to buy a truck not to hang out for nothing. Due to the lack of management we bought in Ottawa. Your manager was over at Nissan all day and couldnt be bothered to help anyone out that was here to buy a car. I feel bad for you sales staff.. How can they make a living if your managers arent here to make car deals? You held my sons card to the point he almost left without it. Your "manager" was not interested in selling dodges she was not even available. Wearing gym clothing to work is highly unprofessional as well. We have been dealing with the service dept at lappointes for a little over 18 months in regards to a paint claim. In the 18 months they lost pictures claim they e never had pictures failed to file an application etc. We have had pictures taken 9 times from the dealer and the body shop who did email everything to the service manager. I have since gone to capital dodge in ottawa and a total of 18 days pictures were taken claim was approved and paint has been repaired. Wouldn't recommend buying here, my overall experience with them has not been overly positive. I bought a used car from them a couple of years ago and they sold me a lemon then claimed that they didn't see anything wrong because the issues were "likely intermittent". They did end up fixing it after several (loud) angry trips to the dealership but it shouldn't have needed to get that far. Have had several issues with their mechanics not fixing things right and mistaking obvious things like coolant leaks for transmission issues. Had a few instances where I have had to return to have a repair done a second time because it wasn't done properly the first time. Had work done on the interior and they left scratches and marks on the windshield. They didn't even do the safety on my vehicle properly, missing some major items (eg non functioning wipers and severed washer fluid hose). Since my warranty period is up I take it to my local mechanic. I don't trust their service department, I will only go in for recall work now (which takes weeks or even months to get a spot). They also start flooding you with calls and spam mail about their trade-in events mere weeks after purchase. You barely get to start enjoying your new car and they already bug you to buy a new one. Anyway, I gave them two stars because they do have some great customer service staff who try to make the best of things and are truly helpful. I recommend going to Ottawa (the same people own the one in Renfrew too) if you're on the market for a Chrysler vehicle (dodge, jeep, etc.) or try one of the other dealerships if you want to buy locally.

Went to book a maintenance scheduled inspection for my 1500. According to my warranty book schedule it was to be a basic service that cost around $40 in the past. Was given an invoice for over $1400. Was told by the service manager that Fiat Chrysler Canada had deem the area an extreme climate zone and the additional work was required. When questioned that I never saw any reference in the service manual to climate I was told rudely to read the fine print. I read the fine print and found nothing. Contacted FCA Canada and was told by a customer rep that no such policy exist and that any additional maintenance required for Canada's climate was addressed in the manual provided. One item on the invoice was an $80 charge to change a cabin filter. My truck does not have a cabin filter. Would have given zero stars but I felt I was treated fairly by the sales staff. Fair price for truck and trade in. Delivered on time. I have watched the service dept go from good to bad to worthy of a marketplace investigation over the last 3 yrs. Consider yourself warned. Take your business elsewhere.

If you had asked me after my first visit how I felt, they would have awarded them two stars. But, as a particularly difficult customer, I feel that they have bent over backwards to address my concerns. On one occasion I had to wait for parts and missed a service deal, but they honoured the deal and gave me the discount. Just a friendly word of advice for my Petawawa Ontario, Canada friends. Be extremely cautious and know your warranty before taking your vehicle to Lapointe Chrysler in Petawawa Ontario, Canada FOR SERVICE. I changed the gear oil on my diffs as my kids and I were about to head out on our annual summer camping trip and noticed large chunks of metal in the fluid. After a week of the dealership giving me the runaround they finally said that my broken spider gears are not covered under warranty. That these things just don’t break. Even though I’m only at 54,000 km of a 100,000 km powertrain warranty. I had to pay $300.00 just to get it out of the shop, they quoted me at $3200 to fix it parts $1100 and labour $1848. Please note if anything I bought this vehicle from them used at 12,000km at the time they had 35” tires on it on a 7” rim. Not the 8.5(minimum) which it should have been. I downgraded the tire to a 33” as the ones on it were some knock off brand from China and wore out after 30,000km. I’ve taken that thing off road twice and just down a beginner trail. IT IS A JEEP. Other than that the kids and I use the Jeep for camping. Further according to Lapointe Chrysler “it is ok for a vehicle to sit outside with the diff plate off” apparently the huge storms we had here this past week wouldn’t affect it. According to their service manager rain only falls straight down, humidity and moisture won’t hurt the diff. Well There was water in my diffs, bearing and joints. Just paid 300 for literally nothing. If you look at the photos you will see the first two the day i changed the gear fluid and noticed metal chunks. So i inspected. Then you will see a photo of the rear of the jeep with no diff cover on 7 days later and a puddle under it, from a severe storm earlier in the week. Then you can see condensation on the diff. There was water inside the case.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at a car dealership when looking to purchase a vehicle. It was very unprofessional, rude customer service and I felt extremely pressured for a purchase. I was warned from multiple people not to go here and I now understand. While getting checked in, I listened to a mechanic at the counter have a hissie fit about customers while looking over an invoice. I listened to the service advisor apologize to a customer for a bad alignment and say she had a better tech working on it today. I listened to a customer be told they couldn't patch a tire, and he needed a new one, only to admit they just didn't have someone who could do it. I heard another customer say his vehicle had been done for an hour and no-one told him. Once he asked, it was another 25 mins before the paperwork was signed off. Do not use this dealership unless you feel like getting ripped off and not having warranty work done. They will break your vehicle before fixing it and then blame it on you. Chad the service manager DOES not care about his clients, flat out told me to call FCA if unhappy with their service as he doesn't care. The service advisors even accused me of buying after market lift kit even though it's a leveling lot that CAME with the truck. Also be careful when purchasing a tunneau as they charge you for mopar and give you cheap.

The last straw was when a brought for broken manifold bolt. 2 days later I get my truck back with absolutely nothing done to it. The service department told me to be carful with my truck because of the manifold they had not fix If you want excellent service go to Chrysler in Arnprior, the fix my truck in half a day. I will be buying there for my next truck. Don’t forget Lapoints , all they do is sell sell sell. Service terrible

We had a great experience here this week while we were shopping for our new vehicle. Casey was amazing, and helped us try to find the best vehicle to fit into our family's dynamic needs and also stay in our budget. He made the whole experience fun and made a solid effort to get to know us and our needs. He made it an enjoyable experience and made us feel excited to buy a vehicle without feeling pressured to make a rushed decision while we were stressed due to being in a time crunch to have a new vehicle. I also got to experience a sneak peek into what service would be like from here as my current vehicle wouldn't start in the parking lot. The mechanic was awesome and got the car going quickly. I highly recommend Lapointe's. If your in the market for a new vehicle, ask for Casey he is amazing!!!! We will definitely be going back to him in the future when we need our next vehicle ????

Buying process was terrible, they hold your license and bank card hostage while you haggle a price. They forgot what day it was and hadnt even started my paperwork when i showed up for my appointment to pick up my new vehicle. They messed up the loan paperwork so a month later i was still paying for a car they had sold. Their manager actually slammed his office door and yelled at the customer service manager when we went to get our fees reimbursed. They never actually contacted Dodge about the huge chunk of missing paint 3 months after i bought the vehicle, even though everytime they called about my service schedule i asked them about it. I will never set foot on their lot again.

Long waits for repairs and service and pushy salespeople. And phone calls never returned. Waited 4 hours last November to have snow tires put on. Found out when I got to Walmart, the dealership had my tires without my permission. And had a hard time getting them back. I never wanted to have to deal with them again after my warranty was up but got roped into another vehicle.

Wrong diagnosis over and over, installed wrong thermostats, broke my window controls passenger side, scratched my shifter, scratched my steering wheel, oil covered interior, scratched rims, banged door driver side, lifted my car on its oil pan (that just happened yesterday), AND to boot they stole an AUX cable out of my car, rummaged through my car, stole free coffees as well as a few dollars I kept in the console. Avoid Lapoint they have no clue what they're doing, over prices parts and service and no regard for you or your vehicle. Beware!!!

All I can say is wow. I've visited a lot of Jeep dealers and think Ethan is hands- down the best salesman I've ever met. Ask for him, you won't be disappointed!! He was extremely kind and professional and reassured me that he would go to work for me to get me the best deal possible. He remained patient when I wanted to explore a ton of different options. Unlike the Ottawa guys, he never once gave off shady or phony vibes. I highly recommend buying a vehicle through him - he's transparent with no hidden agenda.

Looked at my parent's bill. They were charged $50 for fuel and $1500 for no name winter tires on steel wheels without sensors on a brand new vehicle. Greasy! Response to sales manager: By provide receipts do you mean show me an invoice by your own service department that shows me the cost for wheels and tires? How enlightening! And I know what fuel costs thanks, I'm saying charging for fuel on a brand new vehicle is gouging. The vehicle wasn't even priced very competitively it was just close and convenient. I bought 3 brand new vehicles in the last 4 years, from 2 different brands and dealers and all came with a full tank. No charge and much better pricing! I think the service provided at Lapointe is just poor comparatively. Next time we'll be making the longer trip to a different dealer.

Wow! What a great experience! We were traveling up from Montreal to the base in Petawawa for a precision rifle shoot when the serpentine belt gave up in my truck. They took us in on the Saturday afternoon before Thanksgiving and got the belt and water pump replaced in record time. Such a better experience than dealers I usually have to put up with in Montreal. Deal with these guys in confidence, they will have your back!

Brought our Jeep here approximately six months ago as it had overheated and we were recommended to visit a Chrysler dealership (we had been using Canadian Tire/Walmart as we're unsure who to trust in the area). They charged us an hour of diagnostics and said it was running fine now and we could come get it. When we arrived, the service advisor stated that the radiator looked new and they must not have properly bled the system when they changed it. I told her that was impossible, the radiator was nowhere near new, and she responded, "Well, it looks new." She dismissed my questions and I explained to her that my father is a service manager at a Chrysler dealership and, even if he had replaced the rad, it would've been properly bled following (how an air pocket in the system would show up years down the road and begin causing problems is beyond me). She said, "Well, that's what we think it is" and we left $80 poorer - they had also filled up the coolant for us. Six months later- present day- and a crack has been found in the radiator. We replaced it and I had forgotten all about Lapointe's until we cleaned the Jeep out to sell it and I found this receipt. Clearly on the receipt it's stated "radiator looks new - must not have properly bled system on replacement" and I chuckled a little at how far off this advisor and/or her mechanics were. Thanks but no thanks, we won't be back (also - good customer service means answering questions and not making customers feel like they're not entitled to know how you reached a diagnosis or clarify your assumptions, even if I am a woman).
