Very professional and personal service, they really care ❤!
They ripped off my brother
Excellent service. They go out of their way to make sure you are always satisfied, informed and happy.
Had a serious problem with our coded keys. Our local dealer couldn't fix them and didn't want to take the time to help. While visiting in Pembroke for a couple of days last fall, we stopped by the dealership to see if they could help, and they not only were nice enough to squeeze us in on a Friday afternoon, but they fixed our keys. We had just bought our GMC Canyon truck last year and they also took the time to give us a print out of our truck features and history. Couldn't ask for better service, they went above and beyond. Shout out to Gary N in Service and Brian the mechanic. Thank you very much.
Nice selection, great staff.
I was told over the phone there was a car within my budget. I went down to take a look at it and then was presented with a value 50% over what I was promised over the phone. I only got offered what was promised over the phone when I was about to leave the front door. Not cool. Bought a car elsewhere.
Our CV axel came off because it wasn’t bolted on properly. Sent my husband who was driving, myself and my 3 year old into the bush. They are so lucky no one got hurt.. we brought it in to have it looked at and was charged for that which is fine but they refused to cover the cost to fix it even though it should have been covered under warranty, now we’re out $400 as well. Never do business with these people.
They are bloody crooks! Bought a used impala from them in 2010. Was swindled for a lemon. *** ref the owner response I am sure I have the correct dealership. It is not that I am waiting 7 years to complain, I am just rating your business so that other people know what to expect from you.
Did not receive a call back regarding a purchase of a vehicle.
Bobby Butler was an excellent sales guy. Nicest valley buying experience ever. My husband and I really are enjoying our new 2020 Chevy Silverado LT Trail Boss 4x4 Crew Cab short box. Rides very nice. Features on the exterior and interior are a standout to this trim. Looking forward to our journey with the Butler team in Pembroke.
Been dealing with butler with all my service for my 3500hd. Alex always does a great job. They have a great parts team in Scott and the rest. Sales team top notch
To all customers that rated 5 stars, you guys are lucky. But the dealers in this location failed more than a few times and took away money for scamming. Can't trust.
Good service. Friendly staff. I prefer this GM dealership to service my Ford over the local Ford dealer.
I purchased my vehicle here with no issues but the service department is awful. They have no regard for the safety of their customers or their customers time. While investigating a clicking noise they removed my infant carseat (any reputable place will have a strict rule against removing infant car seats because of the liability) and then reinstalled it incorrectly. If I hadn't read the technicians notes I wouldn't have known to double check the installation. If I had been in a car accident my newborn would have been thrown from the vehicle, she was 5 days old when this occured. The second time they were trying to identify the noise they had my vehicle for 7.5 hours and "couldn't hear the noise". When they finally picked me back up (after their shuttle service was 45 minutes late) I brought the employee to my car to show him the noise. I was then told that it was no longer covered under warranty and would cost about $1200. Oil changes routinely take 3 plus hours and the service department only answers the phone about 50% of the time. I definitely will not be returning and I do not recommend this place.
Went to get a Dodge charger, the last used one in town as my first car, I put a deposit on it, call them a few days later for the insurance info and they sold it out under me because someone offered cash, safe to say I will never recommend them or the sales person Joe, went to lapointe and they treated me like a human being, go to anybody other than butlers for a car, they're snakes.
Nice showroom, tech did not listen too well when we told the issue of the vehicle
I'm only giving one star because there is no option for zero stars. Have had nothing but problems with their service department since purchasing a new vehicle in 2016. Taking several hours to do simple maintenance (oil change and tire rotation). Would not recommend.
Awesome service
I went in to get to get a new exhaust system and they left the tail pipe so sharp that it cut my six month old puppy right open, you could see her muscle.the Laceration is about 6 to 8 inches long and she had to get nine stitches, we paid over $200 in vet fees because of their mistake. We went in and spoke to them and they said that it isn’t their fault and they aren’t going to be paying the vet fees
Talk about good customer service, walk through the doors and you will meet the blonde devil , she was on her cell phone texting while I was standing there, I had to say excuse me , and she’s like “can I help you” with the most stern face. Mr. Butler your standards are clearly low if you hire someone like that .
I was very happy with the way I was treated here. The people there are very friendly and respectful. A real community atmosphere. Nice little playplace for kids inside which is so helpful. Special thanks to Jonathan and Greg for their help with my new Silverado! I love my truck tent!
!!!Auto Fraud!!!! The sales man (Keith) lied numerous times about the vehicle we purchased. -Told us there was a back up camera, he even said “oh you just have to play with the settings to get it working”...when only after purchasing the vehicle, we realized there was (NO) back up camera included. -We had also found out through the mechanic that the windshield was after market when the sales man (Keith) originally said at the dealership It was the original one which caused us to have to wait even more days to pick up our vehicle from the garage as we now had to pay for a back up camera installation. -We had also asked how long the vehicle had been on the lot... Keith stated “only a month” but the photo advertised clearly showed the vehicle out on the grass, in the summer! The dealer then said “oh you caught me”. Admitting we caught him in a lie... -When it came time to pick up the vehicle at (the time they said it would be ready), it was “not ready” as they did not get the linex done in time as promised... so we had to take the vehicle to the garage once again. Do not purchase a vehicle from here!!!
Always a pleasure talking to the staff here. Everyone is super friendly
Didnt really buy anything..
Service personnel very friendly and helpful in getting my truck done early.
Great quality and speedy service which exceeded my expectations????
I've never had a great experience here and actually avoid it if possible. I've dealt with both sales and service here, being put off by both. When purchasing a vehicle, the sales men were pushy and seemingly sexist - one not even acknowledging me and the other telling me he'd 'get me into something more girly' when I looked at the Camaros. Another sales experience had us ready to purchase a truck and then the sales person didn't call us back the next day with figures as requested - we ended up not purchasing the truck at that time because of the lack of follow through. The service team has also been disappointing - doing recall work and charging us for it, and even arguing with us about it when showing them a copy of the recall notice (we found out about the recall from a mechanic friend). We've also dropped our vehicle off for service and not have it ready at 430pm pick up when the appointment was for 830am - the response being 'we've been a bit behind today'. This means they waited until the end to do our vehicle as we were leaving it for the day and didn't put it in for our scheduled appointment and then didn't take responsibility for being late. All in all, I avoid this dealership if I can.
I was in the area for visiting and my car had a trouble. They helped me in every they could and in a very timely manner. They fixed my car quickly and at a very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to go back. The service team did a GREAT job.
Once again, I had an awesome experience with the professionals at Butler's. At 3pm on Thursday of the Easter weekend, my car made a horrible sound when I put it into drive! Cindy in the Service Department told me to call Roadside Assistance, but in the meantime, she would call Enterprise to reserve a vehicle . . . I utilized the app on my phone . . . within an hour and a half, my car was at Butlers and I was driving out of Enterprise in a GM product. The part was ordered on Monday . . . I was kept updated by Cindy . . . and Thursday afternoon, I drove my car off the lot . . . a great experience from start to finish!
Nice people but very busy
4 hours and 135$ for a tire swap while having a 3 years old son and the even brought the car back with low pressure in the tire
Excellent service department and staff
Big shout out to Andrew at Butler Chev. He helped me sort out a predicament which could of made getting a new truck impossible. Needless to say we ended up driving 500+km in total to make it happen, and that also involved getting up at 5 am... Pretty impressed. If you want it, you get it at Butler. In the end I walked away with a wicked deal. Just go see Andrew and get it done.
Beware my mother in law bought a brand new car and they never gave her the time of day to fix any problems she brought to them stay away from butler all they care about is taking your money and after they have your money they dont care about you ... the sales men are only there for their own pockets and that's all.. much better service and prices in renfrew Mackenzies
I/we have been a Butler Gm customer since 1995 and have purchased several new and a couple used vehicles from them. I just wanted to say, yes you could go to the big cities and maybe save ( not always ) a few hundred dollars, but the service that I have received from them over the past 23 years has been and still is second to none, well worth any small saving out of town. Thank you to every one at Butlers for an excellent experience and no doubt more to come. Paul Byers
Recall service on my vibe - job done well.
Great People
Good selection of new vehicles and very nice showroom and friendly staff
I have had great service as a customer, here. Would recommend if you are shopping for a GM vehicle. Wide selection available usually.
Although there were some issues with my first purchase in 2011, recently they had a used vehicle I had been looking for and this time the process and services was much better. I'm still waiting for some information but as it stands it was a much better experience. I will update if "issues" start to pop up like the previous truck but so far it's been significantly better.
Great experience with Terry Morton. If you want to be treated well; actually treated like a human being and not just a wallet, go see Terry.
Not going to buy a vehicle here, because the dealer was not professional and he was bashing the other car companies. Not a good first impression.
I went in for simple pricing on a truck and one of the sales associates was quite abrupt where I felt like I was wasting their time although they were not busy unless they consider talking amongst themselves work.
Very unhappy with the service at butler Dealing with an ongoing issue with my vehicle Dishonest service department that doesn't listen to there customer to recreate the problems Never buying a GM product again
Recently purchased a vehicle through Butlers pembroke, was treated awesome the entire time. Their team also worked hard to help me set up financing I didn't know I'd have an option to. Big shout out to their salesman Jonathan Pfiefer for his professionalism and his help:)
Don't give these folks any of your hard earned money. When repairs are done they do not input results for the vehicle, and do not look after vehicles once the warranty has expired. Took my dad for tons of money in so called repairs and still didn't fix his truck. He had to get it finally fixed at the chev dealer in Owen Sound, Ontario. This dealership should be put out of business but unfortunately the folks who work at Base Petawawa fund these guys.
Great prices and great people to help you
Good
We've been purchasing and leasing vehicles at Butler's for over twenty years and have nothing but good things to say about our experiences. Mr. Butler and his team know how to make a customer feel valued and appreciated. After sales service is the best weve found at any dealership, domestic or foreign. Staff is friendly and welcoming and the pricing has always been fair.
Initial difficulty on a lease purchase at lease end with Butlers. Finally, after 3 week's delay, GM Finance contacted Butlers regarding the problem. July 22/ Butler's Finance contacted us and rectified the problem by expediting the licence transfer before the safety cert. expired. Their attention to this matter has upgraded our rating for Butler's service. We now would consider buying/leasing from this dealer in the future.
Just another dealer ship that does work on your vehicle with out you approving it it first, then can't undo it, and all they say is sorry.
I dealt with Jonathan and Greg, both of which were great. They were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful on a professional level. On a personal level, they are nice guys. They treated me and my family with respect and were very genuine. I found a small scratch in my door after taking possession and they looked after it right away with a smile and no grief. Also, their detail guy is awesome (didn't catch his name though). As long as we live in the area, I will buy my vehicles at Butlers. Thanks guys.
Very happy to buy my first Chevrolet from Butler's. Great price and a simple, no bs buying experience. Love my Colorado!
So we have purchased 2 vehicles now from Buters gm a 2021 traverse and a 2021 silverado 2500, and all i have to say was they have a different kind of service... from our salesman the first time who was Brennan and the second time was Bobby, they leave nothing for you to find out after your purchase they litterally tell you every intricate detail which was perfect for us. And even the finance guy Bart made sure you were leaving without questioning a single part of the deal. Even when we met Mr. Butler he made us feel at ease knoing we could not get a better deal anywhere else. All in all they deffinatly have incredible customer service and are not pushy at all which is what i like when im buying a vehicle. They are truly great folks and it is a 1 of a kind dealership. Would not hesitate to go to them with any questions or to 1 day buy another vehicle. Thanks again guys
Absolutey great to deal with. Extremely professional. Great service. Joe F
Worst service ever dealing with Jason Leroux, Financial Services Manager, unprofessional to a next level. Drive the extra mile to go to renfrew way better service.
Parts great, service superb, sales.... well I bought elsewhere
Very good service
Had car fixed
Here is my story. Purchased a used vehicle from Butler GM. They told me it only had 1 prior owner and all the work was done at the dealership. The dealership safetied the car - at my expense. I sold the car 6 months later due to unexpected circumstances. When the new owner tried to safety it - it was a write-off. Scrap.
I went there to look at the new truck and i would describe my situation a little difficult to deal with but anyway the trade value demonstrated on the offer clearly wasnt the actual trade value it had the incentives hidden in it to make it look like they were giving me more thats the only way i can fathom that going to north bay and pricing out a more expensive truck with they same trade value i got a payment 40 dollars less every two weeks with the same incentives i find this to be sneaky and untrustworthy i wouldnt reccommend anyone to buy from here ever
Just purchased a new vehicle from these people. What a great experience we had from start to finish. Thanks Joel, Greg and Jason. Highly recommend these folks
Verg friendly and knowledgeable
First time customer this week and the service department is outstanding! I will definitely return for all my service needs.
Butler chev has superb service friendly fast and will bend over backwards to help you out I would recommend them to anyone
Butler GM has always been good to me. My 3rd new vehicle from them.
my SUV gets in with 1 problem and comes out with another one. definitely changing dealer I will deal with.
Big thank you to..andy and the service team that turned a bad day (blown trans line) into a good experience with fast and professional work .the mechanic pointing out what went wrong and prevention points. While Chev stood behind there product parts an warrenty. Glad i bought a 2500hd duramax
Local people had always told me to avoid going there. This dealership has an extremely poor reputation locally and despite all my attempts at giving them a chance, unfortunately they never disappoint.
Very helpful and knowledgeable, happy to refer to friends and family
Verry good service
Sneaky salesmen with no integrity or accountability. Friendly service reps but the mechanics are shifty people who rationalize everything. They do work that was not consented and charged me for it. Held my vehicle from me and to top it the general manager was incredibly rude and argumentative. Sell you an extended warranty and find every way to get out of it. Never buying a GM vehicle again let alone a vehicle from them.
Noticed recent improvements in the Service Department at Butler, it was good before but now even better. Great service at Butler!
Any one who is in the market for a car or truck you neef to go here first ask for charlie you will be happy you did he is awesome!
It was absolutely amazing! I brought my 3 year old son & not only were they amazing with me but they were great with him! Took him around, gave him a balloon etc. My experience was great couldn't have asked for better & I got an amazing good priced vehicle too! Definitely recommend them!
I don't mind if they are busy and they let you know in advance that they have a longer than usual wait time. But, to tell me that it will take maximum an hour and I'm stuck waiting almost 3 hours is a bit frustrating. Not once has someone come to apologize for the wait. What is the point of booking an appointment if it's going to be an all day event? Oil change and changing over to winter tires (that are on rims) should NOT take 3 hours. Not impressed. Also this is not the first time Ive waited a significant amount of time for something that should take less than 30 minutes at this location. Maybe they need to limit services per day or employ more technicians.
Great service
Awful customer service. Awful service department. Parts are 4 times the price of other gm dealers. General manager disrespectful and does not honour validity of company. Biggest most useless excuse for a dealership I've ever seen. Does not follow provincial health orders. COVID breeding ground. Find a different dealer, you'll be way better off.
Unethical even for salesmen standards and they do not care at all
Brutal costumer experience they took my beautiful CTS and absolutely trashed it and made the problem incredibly worst. They could not even follow there own procedures from gm head office. This involves carstar too as it was a leaky sunroof the two of them combined turned a 200 dollar fix into now 2000 dollars fix I’ve had to go back multiple to rectify the situation and still has not been dealt with. Small claims is my next step. I Warn everyone if your car is worth anything DO NOT BRING IT THERE you’ll over pay and end up with your car worst off. Just make the trip to Ottawa you’ll save your self in the long run
I was completely satisfied with my recent visit to change my winter tires. The work was done promptly and accurately. I was especially pleased that there was no charge, because I had purchased my tires through Butler. I also paid a visit to the body shop (unannounced), just prior to my service appointment. I had an inexplicable stain on the side panel of my vehicle, and I was looking for advice on how to clean it. The fellow at the front desk set aside what he was doing, came to assess the stain, and then cleaned it for me. Also, with no charge. I much appreciate that my loyalty to Butler has its benefits. I would highly recommend Butler GM as a superb dealership.
Great service!!!!
We had one year left on our lease and were totally unhappy for various reasons with the Spark. Bobby Butler listened and worked with us to secure a 2020 Equinox (not leased!). Excellent experience...can't say enough about how well we were treated and how seamless everything was. For the first time ever I had a salesman follow up with us...meant a lot.
My experience buying a used vehicle at Butler's was great. Mr. Butler, Liz, Jason and the other Butler staff took care of me quickly and efficiently. I got a wonderful SUV for a great price, with a really low financing rate. I went in Saturday and picked up my vehicle on Monday. I will be back. Thank you.
Bought a Chevy cruise 2016 new,,had more problem with the air conditioning ,,and the heater with in the first 2 months ,,still having problems with the heater pretty bad when you have to buy a pair of winter boats for -60%to drive your car in the winter and dye of heat in the summer ,,was back there again complaining about the issue March 14,,2019,,,it went in one ear and out of the other,,,wanted to talk to Mr Charlie butler several times and was told no because he is a old man,,,but he sure can take my money,,my car did not performed the way it was suppose to do,,,many of my clients that drove in my car that frozen going to appointments said the feel bad for how butler's treated buyers ,,the sale man's should where a sing on there backs slippery when wet,,and yous know who I'm talking about,,
Andy Hamilton was contacted at 7am this morning as my car has a blown water pump.He got back to me this afternoon and tells me they are back ordered.I called Renfrew and there is one in stock. This is a recall part. Terrible customer service.Ill take my busness elsewhere.
So I went in to look at a truck I have to say it was the best experience I have ever had buying a new vehicle. This was my 4th time buying all at different dealerships over the years. Best part of the experience was our sales person Andrew wow he was amazing and there was no pressure to buy. Also meeting Mr Butler I am amazed with the professionalism at the dealership. They were willing to do everything possible to make you happy and wanted to ensure you had a good experience. I would give them more than 5 stars if possible Definitely the best place to make a deal in the area highly recommend them go see Andrew. And for the finance department Bart was amazing and super friendly. We love our new truck.
Fast and friendly
In 2016 I took my 2015 GMC Sierra in for a recall and to clean the breaks and a few other things. I paid just under 400$. I'll never forget that. I got about to just about Pine view school on the Blvd (so not too far) and my read drivers idea tire came flying off into the oncoming traffic then across the skidoo trail and I to the woods. My rotor obviously smashed the pave and was drug about 20ft. Someone stopped and helped me find my tire. The nuts were all inside (I have aftermarket rims and there is a cover covering the nuts). I called Butlers they came and a mechanic put the tire back into my smashed rotor then drove it back to the shop. They wouldn't give me any of my money back.... And it took them over 6m to replace my rim. They said they couldn't find another one like it.....That was it they didn't do a damn thing else for me to try and apologize for a potentially disastrous situation. If I would have been on the highway I'd have been in rough shape. If a motorcycle was coming or even if a school bus full of children would have been in the way of that tire or someone walking down the road.
We ended up taking my boyfriend's car here, a Toyota Tercel, simply because it was the closest shop to where he broke down. They gave us an estimate to replace a belt and water pump and we agreed to it, our service advisor was great (I wish I could remember her name). The next day I got a call, they said that car was rusty so it was going to take some extra time to do the work and they'd need to put in some new bolts. That's when I found out their door charge is $120/hour. I said, "Do what you have to do." It's a 95 Tercel so we really didn't want to put much money into it. The next day we went to pick it up, the price ended up being just over $800, 20% higher than their initial quote and they didn't do any extra labour. I explained to them that I had been given a quote and that, legally, they can't exceed that quote by more than 10% (especially if they didn't do any extra work!). The sleazy sales guy who was dealing with us (it was late at night so our advisor was gone) told me that they had to put extra bolts in (over $100 worth??). I explained that my dad is a service advisor in a dealership and that I know the rules. He said, "Where does your dad work?" and I told him (the dealership is 4 hours away), and he said, "Well! Their door charge is over $20 more than ours! So you should call him and tell him you got a great deal!" ---- on a side note, my dad's dealership charges $80/hour for labour. At this point, I was ready to throw the keys at him and tell him to keep the damn Tercel, it's not worth $800, but my boyfriend is very non-confrontational, so we paid the bill and left. After relaying the story I few times, I heard similar stories of bad customer service (on behalf of the sales AND service department, but none involved my great advisor, so there are some good people there). I drive a Chevy myself and was looking for a good dealership in the area to service it, but I won't be back.
Recently purchased a 2022 Silverado Trailboss from Butler's. I looked around locally at different brands and settled on Chevrolet. The price was competitive and the salesman (Andrew Stalkie) was very professional and was eager to make a deal! He even offered to deliver items to my house which I had ordered (on his own time). In my experience, most sales forget your name when you leave the lot....not the case here at all! I received an excellent offer on my trade-in which sealed the deal.
Horrible customer service!!! They have put my family in serious danger twice now and did nothing to make it right. The parts used for installation failed twice and damaged our vehicles further and they covered nothing. Had to call the original dealership I purchased from just to get them to take their accountability. Would never take my vehicle to Buttlers for the safety of you and your family.
In and out 10 minutes for wheel retorque. Great!
Looking at purchasing a new 2019 GMC truck. Spoke with Pat the general manager of this location over the phone as I dont live in the area and after discussion he stated that he had a 2019 GMC Sierra limited 1500 SLE, elevation edition. After prices were provided to me I looked them over and asked there is obviously some wiggle room to come down, flat out said no. asked for box liner, said no. Said there was enough incentives coming off the MSRP already, which are GM incentives, not the dealerships. Didn't matter. Pat sent the cost breakdown of this SLE truck and after looking around I thought it looked like a good deal. I paid the $500.00 deposit payment to hold this truck. Sent me more information about this make and model of the truck and how the financing would look like. After looking at videos of this exact truck and comparing the pictures Pat sent to me to the videos I was watching, something wasn't adding up. Things were missing on this truck Pat is trying to sell me that the others had. Red flag....After further questioning It was discovered that he was lieing to me and this truck isn't an SLE and giving me written proof saying it is. 2 times during our discussions he told me: " are you even wanting this truck?" Making it sound like I shouldn't be questioning him regarding the figures and specs of the truck and should just buy it "at" the price HE says. This was very discouraging especially when this is going to be my first truck ever! Horrible customer service. The big thing to point out is that his behavior was almost narcissistic in the sense that he felt superior over me and what he says goes, dont even bother debating with me. Never met a dealership that wont help get the customer into the vehicle, he was trying to turn me away! Just because I was asking to many questions. After this experience I started looking at other places and found the perfect truck. I immediately called Pat back and said I'm calling to get my refund on the $500.00 deposit. Pat said: "Good! I don't want your money...." I was shocked and responded by saying: "I wasn't expecting that response, I guess you don't want my business and I don't want yours." He said: "Okay, I didn't even put your deposit payment through anyways and hung up on me..."
