Went in to seek information on car rental. When I went to the desk the customer service rep was very rude and unhelpful. When asking about payment methods he was talking down to me. When I asked about using cash or a visa debit for payment he said "you will get nowhere in the world if you think a visa debit is an alright thing to have" He didn't represent the Fairmont kindly or the Hertz company and I will NEVER use hertz for travelling. Very sad.

Would give 0 if I could. Booked the car rental a month in advance as we were coming for an out of province vacation at the fairmont, everything booked, plans made. On the day of arrival I get an email saying that they "can't locate a vehicle for me due to unforseen circumstances". Your only job is to rent out cars, how incompetent do you need to be to have an entire month and then somehow be unable to locate a car? Easy way to ruin somebody's vacation. Also could have provided me some other options of what I can do.. but I guess they don't care

This rental car company almost ruined our trip to Lake Louise. They are never at the desk to help when their help is needed. The voicemail box is always full so I cannot leave a message. When the car was given to me it was at 3/4 tank. I returned it with the same amount of gasoline. Only to be accused of not refueling the vechile. Most of my trip was spent stressing over renting a vechile and I am highly disappointed with the service they provided. The Fairmont hotel has outstanding customer service, and its truly a shame the rental company within the hotel, does not live up to the rest of the hotels standard.

Hertz at the airport are less then helpful. Trying to tell us that we need the biggest car to travel to banff from calgary airport and trying to get us to spend $$$$. We took our buisness to the competition. We are not fools.. i was deeply dissapointed with the man at hertz calgary airport trying to force us. Please speak with your staff about training in giving all options to customers.

This guy is exceptionally rude. Fairmont is one of the best destinations, with top knotch service. This rep does not represent then correctly, even though he is a 3rd party contractor. He should be removed.

Never rent a car here. They over charge you and when you ask about it they are just simple plain rude and don't care about it.
