Apparently there is no negotiating for a used Lexus vehicle at Spinelli Lachine and they are badly prepared and there is miscommunication amongst the staff... Very bad sales experience. :( Sorry for the long read... I was well prepared with documentation. We were excited to go see Lexus vehicles! Many little things overall weren't good but very long story short... Salesman kept going back and forth to his manager. Manager then sat with us and did not look at me for over an hour. He would just look and speak to my wife. He would dismiss vehicle comparison prices in the area. We were there approximately 2.5 hrs. He never made us any offer. Arguing that the list price was the best price. Never asked us until we were about to leave what price we were looking for. When we arrived for the test drive I discovered the vehicle was damaged (front grill/bumper was cracked in half). The salesman did not know about it. We were never advised when speaking to a manager on the phone prior to coming. They made an error on the interest rate they told me I would get for the vehicle when I had asked the manager prior to coming (probably why they could not "negotiate"). I think they made some mistakes and did not own up to them and it caused my wife and I to have our worse experience at a dealership. We had driven an hour to go there. I was very calm and polite the whole time even though I was very frustrated with what we were experiencing. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Was expecting much better from Lexus. The next day we drove 1h30 to another Lexus dealer. Wanted to try again. And the experience... Was AMAZING! There was some discussion, NEGOTIATING and understanding. The salesman and his manager were such a great team and so nice to deal and speak with. We ended up buying our first Lexus! Our next one WILL not be at Lachine Spinelli Lexus. :( Go the the South Shore for a great experience! ;)

Customer service - opportunity for improvement My visit at Spinelli Lexus Lachine literally lasted less than 2 minutes. I entered this location and made my way to the front desk and proceeded to politely ask the gentlemen if there was a fleet manager present. The response I received which was accompanied by an arrogant tone was “we don’t have a fleet manager, we have a sales manager and Lexus doesn’t do any fleet deals”. I then responded thank you and left the building and sat in my vehicle in their parking lot. Less than 1 minute later the same sales associate or receptionist I should say came to the drivers side window of my car, I rolled down my window and he said “Listen buddy maybe I wasn’t clear we don’t do fleet deals but we can make you a price, what do you do for a living?” My response was “I’m the General Manager for Eastern Canada for a multinational organization but thanks to your poor customer service I will take my $70,000 fleet budget to another company, you shouldn’t judge a book from it’s cover”. I rolled up my window and he then proceeded to walk away and knock with his knuckles on my cars hood mumbling words that I will not post publicly. I had just finished working out at a gym nearby and most probably wasn’t dressed to this receptionists standards. It’s unfortunate that a prestigious brand such as Lexus and a reputable business such as the Spinelli companies would treat a client this way. I work in sales and manage several direct reports. That said, there is always some form of positive that can come from any situation. In this case I will share my experience with my staff and advise them that we should learn from this and never judge a book by its cover, each and every customer is as important as the next and should all be treated with the utmost respect......

The salesperson kept pushing for us to lease despite our insistance that we were looking to buy. He would say he'd call us to follow up and would never follow through. We'd leave messages without any response. After almost 3 weeks without news we call to speak with another salesperson (we were very very motivated buyers) and we got the same runaround. We ended up buying our new car upfront within a day at another dealership. Basic customer service shouldn't be this hard.

Scheduled a test drive and the car wasn't ready. Salesman stalled for time and tried showing me options I didn't care for. Mr.Diabo(dealership manager) is very rude as well. They don't care to service you unless you're interested in buying or leasing a new car. Poor experience for me. I don't think I will be returning. I ended up buying a Lexus elsewhere. A smooth transaction is all about organization and respect. Both seem to be lacking at this dealership. The car was advertised at $27,489 and my offer was 20k + trade in value at $6100 to total $26,100 if you want to talk numbers. Either way, I purchased my Lexus elsewhere.

I leased IS 300 on May 2018 and was told this month, May 2020 that my summer tire was all worn out! Apparently, wheel alignment wasn't done & I was told by the service Manager Pat over the phone with such a rudeness attitude that my car needs an alignment & I haven't done it & must replace all 4 tires including the rims which will cost me around $2,800. Since the service team is supposed to be guiding the customer, why would you not explain properly or at least check the alignment when you do the maintenance before something gets worse! There are even few times that I have to call the maintenance team to correct the information they enter on the invoice. Well, if you cannot enter the information correctly, how much more worse would the maintenance checks be?? Move my service to another Lexus dealership, & of course way better! Just DO NOT appreciate the way the manager talk to me!

I tried to book an appointment (October 5th)directly with someone in their service department every time I called it went straight to voicemail until finally I booked the appointment online it just seemed easier. They had a promotion going on to change tires and no slots available until October 18th. I picked my date and time and then it gave me the option of choosing tire change for 49.95$. I booked it everything was confirmed. I go to my appointment this morning after a 45 min drive to the dealership only to be told that it’s 109.95$ today and that my screenshot didn’t mean anything that’s the price, and there is nothing they can do.I have been leasing a Lexus since 2015 and I am more than certain that this will be the last lexus I will ever drive. My first experience at Spinelli Lexus Lachine service department was seamless and professional. I was there for my 1st checkup done at about 1 month/1600km after purchase of a new vehicle. Everything was great! First of all, they had a courtesy car waiting for me and drop off + pickup took no more than 5 minutes. They also fixed some minor issues with the Protex installation, buffed out some imperfections on the hood and fender from when vehicle was purchased in December and now the car is A1. They also made sure to have the 4 tire pressure sensors I ordered for my summer wheels ready, it was really a 1 and done. Also, I must mention their COVID19 sanitary measures are also top????.

The service department at this dealership is a complete joke.. i have taken my car there four times and every time its a complete disaster.... I can't believe that they operate this way... last week i take my car for a tire change after leaving my car they call me at the end of the day saying that they made a mistake and brought in the wrong tires from storage... so i have to go pick up my car... and bring it back next week.. i take it back next week they change the tire and also do a wheel alignment and oil change when i had told the guy specifically that i didn't want either.!!!! They just want to run up your bill? why would i want an oil change when the last oil chage is good for antoher 5 months? I told them to check the shocks for a weird noise.. but they didn't even do that ... this is the story on this time the other times it was even funnier..

The service is not as good as I was expecting. I left my NX300H for service due to the trunk door does not close once in a while since the first year I purchased the vehicle. One time, it happened in the winter and I could not close the trunk so I drove it to the Point Claire service on my way home at night. They could not figure out the problem and forced the truck door to close. I was told to this and not be afraid it it does happen. I mentioned this to the service department in Spinelli Lachine during my service the first time and was not really looked at because the problem was only happening once in a while. So, I insisted that this problem be documented in the file for the future. At the beginning, I thought it was because it was very cold but then, a couple of weeks ago in March, it was like summer temperature and it did it again. Then, recently, the trunk makes a cranking sound when you open or close the door. This time, the shock on the left side was changed. I notice that the door still does make the cranking sound but not always but once in a while. Something that happens in the past before the change was made. Another thing that I was not happy was the Spring offer they have to clean the inside and outside. It is for interior/exterior wash, paint decontamination, extracting carpet shampoo, underbody wash for $245.00. The interior/exterior wash was not good at all. The carpet shampoo was done but the interior wash of the car was not done well at all. I could see the marks on the side of the door and the dash board. I was really disappointed. I pointed this out to Robert Malo and he insisted that the wash was for shampoo only and not the whole interior. So, what was the interior/exterior wash means then? During my recent visit, Spinelli Lachine fixed the trunk door. So far, it does not make any more cranking sound. Let's see in the future as it took around 2 years before the sound manifested. The cleaning was done as promised spic and span. Thank you Robert Malo for following through your words.

My son s car would not start last week so we took it to Spinelli Lexus in Lachine. He was charged 372 Dollars for the diagnostic.( 2.7 Hours). As it turned out the starter was defective.When I confronted the service advisor, about this I was told that one of their best mechanics with over 30 years of experience worked on the car. If a car does not start is a starter not an obvious point to start your troubleshooting???? Why does it take almost 3 hours?We still agreed verbally to have the car repaired the next day at a total cost of 850 dollars plus taxes. ( diagnostic included) No written estimate was given nor an invoice was given for the diagnostic that we payed upfront. The car was finally repaired today, 6 days later and the final cost was 1200 Dollars ,200 dollars more than the estimate. On top,when I received the bill by e mail I realized that the 372 dollars that my son payed upfront, had not been taken into consideration!! They charged a total of 6.2 hours of labour on the car just to diagnose and change the starter!!!! For the service manager that I confronted this was totally NORMAL!! Please read all the reviews concerning their garage. You will see that I am not alone with my opinion. I have contacted the Automobile Protection Agency in the meantime and will contact Lexus Canada tomorrow to tell them about the horrible experience dealing with Spinelli Lexus.They charge a premium hourly rate and in return you have to deal with staff that lacks a lot of professionalism.

When we arrived at the dealership he offered us coffee which was the best coffee I've ever had ahaha, nothing was rushed and the whole process went well. They also included an extra set of tires with the car as well and the car was in amazing condition, and very clean. Lastly.. I accidentally left my contract papers and documents on Roy's desk but when he realized he called me right away and he actually sent someone to bring them to me! I was about half an hour away from the dealership at my air bnb and since I'm not from Montreal and was very tired from the trip down to Montreal I was so grateful and happy he sent someone! I love Lexus cars but living in Toronto it’s a bit more expensive. I did my research and found a beautiful RX-350 but it was in Montreal. I spoke with the salesman Martin Lachine his communication was impeccable and he answered all my questions. I took a chance and flew to Montreal to buy the car. I was met at the airport by Martin at 8:30am. When I saw the car I was impressed with how well kept and maintained it was. He did a thorough break down of the vehicles system and components. He gave me advice and tips on products and services to use to keep the car looking and running good. When I got back to Toronto I had an issue with the seat I called Martin, he told me to take it to a Lexus/Toyota dealership and he reimbursed the cost to fix the issue. He also sent via Purolator the front licence plate holder which in need in Ontario. If you are looking for excellent customer service and a well maintained vehicle dont hesitate to contact Martin Lachine. A very bad experience at this dealership. After the first appointment where the wished vehicle was identified and "reserved", the test drive appointment was canceled without any notice due to an issue with the car (no calls, emails or messages were sent to advise about the cancelation). Was promised to get the car fixed and re-schedule another test-drive appointment. We called back a few days later and were told that the car is being sold to another buyer that made a deposit on the car. Came to the dealership, just to be told that nothing can be done by the manager. The experience was quite bad and frustrating with apparent lack of adequate organisation and communication at this location. Cars are great, service is terrible. :(

Lui expliquant que j’avais appellé la veille et qu’on m’assurrait une place en plus que je venais en towing, parait-il que des rendez-vous fictif se sont sédulés pendant les heures de fermetures... Un gros proverbe affiché en haut de leur comptoir de service parlant d’un proverbe japonais sur l’hospitalité qu’ils ont à coeur, eh bien votre hospitalité terrible est d’un 0/10! Si par chance ce commentaire peut être lu par des représentant de Lexus: je suis passé le 10 novembre 2018 en Jeep Srt8 arrivé en towing et reparti en towing! Bad service: this is the third time I run into problems with services for my car. Last time, they proposed me to clean the AC system. I'm 100% positive I asked them not to do it. Finally, they did it and charged me 200$ for it. After I told them I didn't ask them, they proposed me a free car wash as apology! Today, I had an appointment for security callback from Lexus. Got there, they told me that the work is on gas pump and the tank should be 3/4 empty. No one told me, I even checked the reminder text message which they sent me the day before, no trace of this. No one never mentioned anything about the empty tank to me. I got a "we're sorry, take another appointment". Very low quality service, I thought I bought a high end car and deserve better service than this.
