In 1996 I was new to Canada I went here to buy a car I they sold me a firefly small with $800 warranty after 2 months it was burning oil I took it to them to fix it the person behind desk made some phone calls and said they don’t want to fix it because you drove it 5150 KM you should have changed oil at 5000 KM B S big rip-off.
Awesome service from start to finish and a big thank you to our salesperson Rob Woods who helped us get into our new vehicle. Had my car towed here after my car wouldn’t start. The customer service agent was friendly, but the price was ridiculous. Charged just under 500 for a battery. Not including the labour, If you want to support a business that robs you blind, This is the place!!

I purchased a 2017 Buick Encore from Scherer back in July 2017. I have maintained my vehicle with the dealership ever since and I will not go anywhere else. Their customer service is next level - I feel like a priority each time I'm here. Pricing of services are very reasonable and the service itself is very efficient and on time. The most important factor to me is trust and I can whole-heartedly say I trust everyone I deal with at Scherer and am happy to refer anyone I know looking for a vehicle. I have been with scherer for 4 yrs and so far I love the treatment and fast service. Never had to wait more than 30 mins
My 2018 GM Savana had problem with brakes. Vehicle would veer to the left during hard braking and especially while under a load. Service department could not find the source of the problem and instead replaced the rotor, pads, later swapped left side to the right and insisted all was fine. The vehicle would still pull to the left and correcting with steering wheel was necessary in order to remain in the travelled lane. On three occasions I suggested and later insisted on them bleeding the lines, because the issue was more pronounced at the beginning of the trip and subsided after pumping the brakes a few times at the stop lights. The answer from the counter person was that they will not do that, because GM is not covering bleeding the lines while the vehicle is under the warranty. What??? Is the profit more important than the safety of the public? Instead of getting to the source of the issue and correcting it, the dealership would rather make money, warranty work so charge the GMC, by replacing the prematurely worn out parts! The weather was nice, so instead of arguing I went under the van and bled them myself. Indeed, a bit of air came out from one of the callipers. Since then, braking performance greatly improved, was perfect, and the vehicle remained in straight line while braking. Come February 2020 and after picking up the van from another brake work, this time the brakes developed a jerking feeling, and pulsation can be felt on brake pedal, the problem with vehicle pulling to one side reappeared. This time it was pulling to the right. Service department advised that this is due to rust build up on sliders, salt on roads, and that is why one side grabs more than the other. They quoted $200 to service all the brakes and insisted that this is the way to remedy the problem. I strongly refused the recommended service, saying that the van is only 1.5 years old and I believe that during recent work on brakes, air was introduced again and insisted on them giving a try and to bleed them, which I said helped last time. Service department stubbornly refused. In the end, as a favour, at no charge to me, they serviced only the front brakes and swapped the pads right to left. Nothing has changed. The vehicle still pulls to the right as before and is not safe for the wet, snowy roads. I would gladly bleed them myself instead of arguing with them but it's the end of February. Not a good weather to do it outside, to go under the van. I still can not digest their refusal to bleed the brakes, because of lack of GMC compensation. Especially that customer mentions, that it helped last time. Seems that they would rather release the vehicle, say that all is good but not willing to find real solution. Stubbornness of service department in this case is beyond me. I can not understand their way of thinking. Obviously, customer is not happy, comes back with the same problem many times, suggests a solution but a solution is not implemented due to lack of revenue.

I brought my brand new 3500 HD Denali in for its first oil change. They put a sticker on my window saying next service due in 5000 km. These trucks only need an oil change around 8000 to 10,000 km. I called them to ask why I should be bringing my truck in at another 5000kms. She told me this was just a reminder for me to check my own oil. I explained to her it says’ next service do’, not what I should do. She had no excuse for this. I believe this is just another scam to get people who don’t notice exactly when they have to bring the vehicle in for the next service ,therefore they refer to the sticker and bring it in early. This gives the GM dealership more money in their pocket seeing your vehicle more often. I suppose older people or maybe some women who did not notice the odometer reading may be scammed by this. This is simply terrible for a big GM dealer to be doing. Will never go there again.

What a joke. Their service department is awful. My vehicle was there from 7:30am until 5:30pm when they called to say they could fix my minor issue the next day. Poor service at best, crappy communication, and a disorganized shop. Will never go back and will spread the word. You would think after the business they lost because of LRT construction they would treat the customers they already have better than I was treated.

Went to this establishment after having horrifying "service" (or lack thereof) from the competitor Forbes. It was night and day. The people at Scherer made me feel welcome and they were extremely helpful. I will never return to Forbes and suggest to everyone that Forbes be boycott completely due to thier staff. If you want Chevy, THIS is the place to be.

DON’T TAKE YOUR CORVETTE THERE! I took my 2009 Z06 in for an oil leak, after sitting down and discussing with the service manager. I was told “we’ve done one of those before” so that made me feel better because they quoted me $5000- to do the work. When I got the car home I noticed that the oxygen sensors were hanging above the catalytic converters and melted from the heat on both sides!! I also noticed they had the power steering line “zip tied” to the bottom of the car, the factory bracket missing! After calling the service manager and explaining the situation, he told me to bring it back in. I got a call the next day stating that “we replaced the power steering bracket and zip tied the oxygen sensor connectors out of the way”. I said I would like the connectors replaced since they are melted. I was told “we’re not going to do that because we don’t know what was done to the car before”. I’m assuming they are trying to say it was like that when I took it there. So basically we disconnected those melted connectors when we pulled the motor and put them back like that and left them above the cats to melt some more. Makes perfect sense. I had to take the car to RM Restoration to get the connectors replaced and have them check everything else out as well. They also found my fuel line was loose, a missing bracket on my exhaust (they used chicken wire at Scherer). RM also had to shampoo the engine bay there was oil all over. I know it’s hard to believe, believe me I got the invoice to prove it. Whoever did this work should be ashamed of themselves.

This place is very unprofessional and the staff do not put the customer first!! Long story short, brought my 2012 equinox in (that I purchased there) last minute because of issues and was told the engine had to be replaced which would cost $6000 so they kept my car and did not offer me a rental. I was with my son and father. I was not going to just assume they were right. 2 weeks after getting the run around they say the problem is something else and would cost $1500. Big difference!! Will NEVER step foot in there again

Just hope that you don't need to rely on their shuttle service. Was told a shuttle would pick me up at 4. I called at 4:15 to see where it was and was told it would come at 5:15. How can there be an hour discrepancy between times given? This is not the first time this has happened either.
Don't take your Chevrolet there for service they are not fixing the problem properly. You will have to go there again and again, which will waste your time and money.
The staff is incredibly friendly. I came on the Friday of a long weekend when they were closing and they still took the time to diagnose my truck and figure out if I should stay or get on the road. Going above and beyond the normal was very appreciated.

We have been going to this Chevy Dealer since we moved back to town 3 years ago. They have always been good to us - providing excellent service to us and our little Cruze. They contacted me for an appraisal of our vehicle and it couldn't have been better timing since we were looking to upgrade anyway (with the addition of a new family member). Rob Woods was our sales contact and he is so kind and genuine. He got us a fantastic price for our trade in and an amazing deal on our new Equinox - even going out of his way to come in on a Saturday so we could test drive (while we had the babysitter!). Had my car detailed here. The guy who did it did a fantastic job. Even walked me out to my car to ensure I was pleased. 10/10 on that. Other staff were nice, but a tad unorganized. I kept getting put on hold and passed around to different staff. Over all will return though.
I picked up my 2019 Chevy Cruze last Thursday. This is my 3rd one from Scherer. I have to say, these guys know what they're doing and I have been treated as if I were their only customer. They remember details from my first Cruze I bought 7 years ago. You feel understood and special. Patience galore...Thumbs up to the whole team!

I recently bought a truck from this dealership. The experience was overall terrible. I spent 34k and the tires "passed" safety, and were weather cracked beyond anything that is safe. I went to pickup the truck and it was absolutely filthy, I start the truck and it was absolutely bone dry! The fuel light was on. I would not recommend buying here, the only reason I did is because I had a specific trim and budget in mind and they had one listed. Again, overall terrible experience.

THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING. I had an engine light problem and I was told that it will be some amount of money and everything will be fixed. I was given a $1500 bill but everything was same. They only wiped the engine light gave it back to me. When I left the dealership, light came up again in about 5 min. I went back and talked to them. Everyone had their own different stories and they were trying very hard to IGNORE me. They were being very rude. If you are reading this, do not make a mis take going here. At least all my Patels, DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT GOING THERE
Always a pleasant place to bring my car in for service. Only waited 5 minutes to be shuttled home. Pick up was just as fast. Driver was great to chat with. Car was ready to go when I arrived. Safety measures were taken. Masks used, given the pen i used to keep.

Went to Scherer because I was convinced I wanted a trailblazer and my husband wanted to look at a truck. After a bad experience at another dealership. We worked with Graham Kelly who moved through the process so smoothly I was shocked when he found us the perfect truck. I never felt pressured or like I was being upsold. He was knowledgeable, but knew exactly how to word it for a car novice. Now months later we're in our forever truck and look forward to heading back to Graham when I get my vehicle!
I have mixed feelings. Ladies at the desk were amazing and friendly. Service was awful, brought my car I to have tires replaced under warranty and was having a problem with a particular tire leaking air. None of the tires were replaced as they were "nothing like I havent seen before" but they were actually really bad. They lady from the front came out to take a look as I was very upset they were not going to replace and no way they were good. She agreed and took pictures to submit for warranty. Now the question tire was aparrently patched and fixed yet I'm currently stopped at an onroute writing this review because I'm adding air to the same tire that was aparrently fixed yesterday.

Vary prices on service and the detailing is good value. Always room for improvement but I'm happy with my GM products and will continue to visit this location.
I brought my car to them for noise issue, and they charged me a lot but still couldn’t figure out the issue. Their communication is also weak, I’ve to personally meet them to take my car back because they didn’t give me any updates. They wanted to more test drives and charge me a fortune. Very poor, they are no experts

We recently purchased a new vehicle here from Jason and the level of customercustomer was excellent without being pushy and sales orientated . He was able to come and meet us for test drives at our work locations due to busy schedules he went out of his way to answer any questions emails and at the beginning when I called around to different dealership for quotes his was the only one that was immediate , professionally laid out and and clearly detailed as to what we were paying in taxes , monthly payments, interests etc. Time will tell but we have been promised some excellent add on perks ( car pick up and drop off , every 3rd oil change free etc) that are nice additions for such a significant purchase.

I dealt with Jason Shaw and Matt Manera on the purchase of my brand new Chevy Silverado and the experience couldn't have been better. Both guys were a pleasure to deal with. I went in with a strong idea of what I wanted, with a few features to be decided upon. The guys were great with discussing which of the add-ons customers regretted not getting as well as the ones that wouldn't be necessary for me. The negotiation was a breeze as I got the truck for a phenomenal price and a more than fair deal on my trade in. I would highly recommend them both!

In January 2020 I had bought a 2012 Buick Regal from another GM dealership from out of town (great price). Between January and May Scherer GM has been my local dealership providing me needed services. Has it been perfect?, no... We’re there hiccups?, some... but that’s life, isn’t it?!... My over all experience with the multiple services provided by Scherer GM was that I was always given an appointment that suited my schedule, always greeted friendly when dropping off my vehicle, alway explained what was going to happen or provided a follow up call on decisions as needed, alway provided with sound technical advice to help with decision making and always promptly dropped off and picked up by their friendly shuttle service. (Each and every time) My take away here is that I really appreciated the great customer service received for my vehicle. All my requests have been met and exceeded. I’m now enjoying my car as intended. Very big thank you to Tracy Bales for her attentiveness, advice and phenomenal customer service.

I recently took my car in for detailing. I notified them ahead of time that I had some kind of oily stain on the hood that I wasn't able to get off, and that a jar of pickled beets had broken in the trunk and stunk like vinegar. I had cleaned up as much as I could but the smell was lingering. When I picked it up the car was immaculate! There was no trace of a stain on the hood and the vinegar smell was completely gone. Their clean was so thorough and well done I will continue to bring my cars here for detailing. Highly recommend!

THEY HARASSED ME!!! Today I had a very unpleasant experience at this place. After I gave a bad review in a survey by email because they damaged my car and didn’t even give an explanation of what happened, today when I came in for them to fix what they damaged, the service advisor attacked me!!!... after my SUV was fixed he took me outside the dealership with the excuse to explain to me what they fixed. Once outside he brought up the survey and started harassing/bullying me!! Saying I shouldn’t have given a bad review about their service because they were honest. I told him it wasn’t about honesty, it was about not even giving an explanation of what happened, it was bad service, simple like that. He got even more upset raising his voice!! I was scared and felt very unsafe, so I just told him “I am sorry but I don’t have to go through this because of the bad service you gave me...he yelled at me and asked me to leave and never come back!! .....IT WAS A VERY SCARY SITUATION!! I am sorry but you guys made the mistake and now you harass me and bully me??? How the hell does that make sense?? ... how can you yell at me “never come back and take your car somewhere else”? .... so now you are going to deny me service when GMC has given me warranty and service and any dealership when I bought the SUV?? what kind of customer service is this? I wasn’t rude or aggressive to you at all... why would you attack me like that?

Since I saw the all-new 2021 Buick Envision online, I was impressed. I was asked by Scherer if I would be interested in trading in my 2019 Encore, and was really shocked by the offer they gave me. I was able to make a SIGNIFICANT upgrade from an Encore to the all-new Envision at the same monthly payments! Graham Kelly was great to work with: no pressure, he listened to our needs and wants and was able to get the right vehicle for us. Highly recommended!
My place to service my car.
I've had my fair share of experiences with auto dealers (Toyota, Lexus, Ford, Kia, Nissan, GM), and I can tell you Scherer has been THE WORST for service. Are their customer service representatives nice? Yes Scott was great! Was their service good? Absolutely not. A couple weeks back I brought my 2010 GMC Acadia in for an oil change- that went fine. About 2 or 3 weeks later the engine was making a horrible sound, check engine light on. I open it up and check, coolant reservoir close to empty...okay...Scherer was suppose to fill it. Fine, I give them the benefit of the doubt. I bring in the vehicle to find out what the problem is causing the sound. Turns out it's a hole in part of the manifold. And apparently the water reservoir is leaking which they admit was a KNOWN issue with the Acadia, and a recall out with it (But they didn't care to check or inform us until we noticed it?). Fine. Also had them replace switch board under 3rd party warranty. They "fix" the leak and we tell them not to replace the pipe near the manifold just yet. And the check engine light is another issue. We had also asked to change the spark plugs. But told them not to at the quoted price after. THEN they proceed to change them and have the guts to tell us its extra "because it took longer than thought" and didn't get the memo to the mechanic not to do it. Okay...I get the memo part- but you should NOT be charging extra for unauthorized work. They agreed and didn't charge us more (thanks Scott). Only because we told them we wouldn't be paying the extra- they would have charged more otherwise. Now the WORST part in all this is I bring the GMC Acadia to Meineke car care to fix the hole (for $550 less at that) only to find out...Scherer never fixed the leak or washed it out properly! Great. Several more hours wasted there. *Sigh* so I return once again and told them what the other mechanic informed me of. They say "Okay we'll take a look" turns out they didn't even replace the RIGHT PART causing the leak....do they not check their work or do they not care as long as they bill me? Then they say we have to wait another day or two because of how busy they are and how early they close. Not willing to fix their issue that they "fixed". Save yourself the hassle and don't go to Scherer for auto service. Horrible work done. Not a bit of quality control. No care for informing customers on recalls/known issues that should have been noticed. However, very friendly customer service (Again, thank you for your patience and aid Scott!). Maybe buying a vehicle here is ok...but servicing...Avoid! Can't believe out of all the Garages, Dealers and Mechanics I've been to- an authorized GM Dealer has been the absolute worst!
Excellent Parts Service. Had a real problem figuring out an issue with a diesel GMC, Andre in parts went through hoops and got it solved. Awesome effort. Highly recommend these guys, been using them for years should have done this before.

I had the worst experience with this service station i went to repair my chev cruze i had a radio mic problem i told them about that but still they were not able to fix that and know i have to suffer for another week just for there mistake. If you want to go at your own risk.

Over all experience was made wonderful by people like Rob Woods and the finance specialist Brenda. My initial appointment was with someone else, but they ended up calling in sick which is totally understandable. So a guy named Doug was asked to look after us. That didn't go over so well... he had only given us about 15 mins of his time and then locked my purse in the car he was showing us while he was walking away. He seemed busy and like he didn't have the extra time for myself and my husband. I wasn't thrilled. I went in to reception and spoke with Cassandra, I asked for a different sales associate. She was very understanding and was happy to point us in the right direction. We were then introduced to Rob who was absolutely wonderful. Due to his attentiveness and honesty we continued to work with him and managed to strike a deal! He was very pleasant and seemed outgoing. I actually ended up keeping the dealership open slightly later than it was supposed to be but even the service staff were very kind and understanding about the situation! I'm extremely excited about my new vehicle and am looking forward to working with this dealership in the future. They told me "Once your clients, you'll be clients for life" and I can say I honestly believe them. Thanks again to the rest of the Scherer staff that I worked with, you guys made the over all experience great!

Service: Tire Swap & Look at chip in paint I just can't believe that I could make a 7:30am appointment time, and at noon my car has not even been touch yet. I called as I was running late for my 7:30am, and dropped my car off at 7:35am and I also apologized for being late, my service guy said no worries, they have not even started work yet. The service guy asked me if I needed it back at a certain time, I said no. I figured I was one of the first appointments for the day, how long could a tire swap, and a look at a paint chip really take. Very dissapointed. What is the purpose of an appointment? If you can make a later appointment and request your car earlier then someone who dropped it off first thing in the morning. Very disappointed.

Will never, ever, ever buy or have my vehicle serviced here again! Would give -5 stars if I could. Brought vehicle in for recall work and had asked to check why engine light was on. Pretty confident that we would know what problem with vehicle was and could get it fixed. Got vehicle back, paperwork stated “check engine light on when vehicle arrived”. No one called us, or put it on computer to find out why. Never mentioned our broken tail light, (we knew about it and weren’t worried about it). I phoned to find out why it wasn’t checked when we specifically asked, told the request didn’t transpire on work order. 3 weeks later, timing chain is gone and we need a new engine. (Not getting from this dealership, we have 0 faith or trust in them).

Want something done right, do it yourself! Excuse after excuse for a wax job. 'Sorry we were double booked'. Even after the appointment was booked weeks in advance. Receptionist even said because it's a black truck we want a professional job. Won't return your vehicle at the time promised. Just save yourself the money and hassle and go elsewhere. I specifically asked for the cap to be buffed out and did a half a** job. Totally disappointed in the service provided. Upon return there was wax all over the place. Owner promised a redo, but I'd rather pay someone else to do a proper job. Swirls galore. Fml ruined my paint.

Booked a test drive on the v8 camaro they have in stock for today and when I arrived they said I couldn't drive it because it's in the show room I should have told them I was looking to drive it. I specifically called to book a test drive because I'm from out of town. They told me even if it wasn't behind some cars they probably wouldn't let me drive it anyways. I wanted to see if I'd prefer the v6 or v8. A waste of my time and a loss of a sale for them

well it was my good experience with the customer service rep. however, i was their to check the difference b/w 5.3 and 6.2 GMC yukon. unfortunately, buying new vehicle in august or july is not right time because 2020 stock is almost done and expecting new 2021 stock soon. so i backed up and choose not buy. my answer is yes buying a vehicle is expenssive investment make sure an individual shop around for price.

I called for a price on a used vehicle when the lot was closed, a sales rep did call me back later the next day but I was on my way to check another vehicle I had found at another lot. I did purchase the vehicle I went to look at. I will check again with Scherer Chev Buick GMC the next time I am looking for a vehicle to see if they have anything that catches my eye. I would recomend them as the sales person was very polite on the phone and understood that I would come see them if I did not find the right vehicle for me at the other lot.
Had an appointment booked at Scherer's to look at a truck that was advertised for sale. Showed up the truck was parked out front with my name on a sign hanging from the mirror. When in and Graham Kelly can out and introduced himself. He had a lot of knowledge about the specs and details of the truck. Went for a test drive and it was sold. Bought a 2020 Denali diesel. When we went to pick it up there were dents in the bumper that they didn’t notice. Bumper had to be replaced. Truck was not cleaned before we got it. Dirt everywhere. They never refunded our 500$ deposit. When we pointed it out they said they would refund it but instead charged us another 500$. When we first pointed out the second mistake they said we were wrong. When we finally proved the error they refunded us the 1000$. No apology. Will never buy from there again.
Went to Scherer automotive to purchase a 2015 grand caravan. My sales rep was Graham who from start to finish was excellent and provided top notch customer service. Car was in a reserved spot for me when I arrived. Brought my two young kids along for the test drive which was no problem. Graham was patient and offered to help out with swapping the car seats. I pointed out a few issues I noticed which were fixed immediately upon pick up. When I got home I noticed another problem which I didn’t hear on test drive. Graham provided his cell phone number and was very quick in his responses to my problem. He asked me to contact the service manager to speak about it. Spoke with Ed on the phone who assured me he would take care of it. I felt confident and happy with my purchase knowing Ed was looking after it. Brought it in for repair and was helped along the way by Reid and Chris at the service department, both knowledgeable and helpful and provided excellent customer service. I am extremely happy with my decision to go to Scherer and would recommend them to anyone looking for a car and a great experience to go along with it.
I recently had a mishap and my truck broke down in front of their business late at night. Luckily three of the gentlemen who worked there were present and very eager to assist me. They allowed me to keep my vehicle on their property over night to get a quote on their service. They stayed true to their word on the quote and had serviced my vehicle for me at a fair price. I have never done business with this dealership before but I would definitely be glad to do so in the future based on my recent experience.
My grandfather and myself went to look at a 2017 Blue Toyota Tacoma! As we where looking at the vehicle, a salesmen named Carson came out to talk to us about the vehicle, I asked a few questions about the truck and finally asked what they where looking to get for it? Carson said “$37000 and change, and cash offers can have a negotiable price.” So my grandfather and myself decided to take it for a test drive! When we got back, Carson came out of the office and we further discussed the truck and Carson said “the truck is $42999 now!” We where shocked and didn’t know what to say! Please don’t waste your time at Steve Scherer dealership! buy a new or used vehicle somewhere else, where they respect you as a customer and stay true to there word, and if you are looking to purchase a vehicle from them, get the price and terms on paper before the test drive

Tried to buy a car but seemed to have been misunderstood in that they thought we wanted to “hypothetically” buy a car.. don’t know the name of whoever the “sales” guy was but didn’t seem like he had any idea what he was doing. Couldn’t offer anything for a trade-in because it was a Toyota and I guess you can’t go trade in a Toyota there so we just got to waste our time getting a hypothetical trade in value without ever actually talking numbers for the vehicle we wanted to buy - when we knew exactly what we wanted but he also seemed to think we needed to go “pick one out”. The most bizarre experience. Only ended up here because we didn’t enjoy our last buying experience at a different Chevrolet but we’ll actually go back there now because I guess it only gets worse, at least they knew how to sell a car.

If you need any vehicle at all, call and ask for Graham Kelly. He is affectionately known in my circle as "the Truck Wizard". Not only did he find me EXACTLY the right truck within 5 minutes of us talking in a time when NO inventory was around (I was told by many dealerships it would be 6 months to get a truck in; he had me driving my truck home within a month), but he worked with me to get the payments within my budget and kept me updated every step of the way. Hes helpful without being pushy and put me in my dream truck with zero hassle. He`ll find you what you want and do it without pushing you to spend more money. All of my vehicles will be bought through him from now on!
Would NEVER shop here for a vehicle again, will NEVER recommend this dealership to anyone for sales or service. Very poor customer service and their service department and technicians have no idea what they are doing. They replaced a part on my vehicle under warranty and it was never the same. Went in 6-7 times only to be told it was perfectly fine. The part was removed yesterday only to find out the didn't even fully bolt it back in .1/3 bolts to hold a piece of a transmission in place is unacceptable. After finding the issue the dealership was called and I informed the service manager of the issue. He basically said he wasn't there when the work was done so it's not his problem. Zero regard or concern for customer safety or satisfaction. Very disappointed. Do not buy or have service done here. I'd give a zero star if I could .

My family used to be a big customer here, until my mom who is approaching 60 took her car in for repair, they told her she needed a new water pump among other things, Quoted her 1400, she took it to Byma's and was quoted 500, said the water pump was fine. Immediately withdrew our winter tires from storage, unfortunate that some companies are not honest.

this place is a joke. took my hummer in for my wipers they replace the motor without checking then tell me its the switch and it will be 600 more. they never checked the problem then blamed me saying i told them it was the motor. do not take your car there.

I purchased a 2018 Camaro from Scherer last summer, the salesman I delt with (Rob) was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. He, along with the finance manager worked hard to get me the car with the options I wanted for a price I could afford. The service department has also been very good to deal with. Would definitely recommend Scherer Chevrolet to anyone and will be back for my next vehicle as well.
A nightmare I cannot wake up from. Car has been in several times for issues with motor. Each time, 'we think we fixed it'. And yet it currently sits in the shop. Each of the 7 repairs so far last less than the repair before. $13,000 in warranty work not including current invoice. Last I heard, the motor has been shipped to an automotive shop for diagnosis. Now the service manager is 'not available' when GM customer service contacts them. If this nightmare ever ends, no future repairs will be done by this dealership. Any car purchases in the future may not even be GM product, but definitely not from this dealership.
Just purchased a used Mazda from their lot and it was a very smooth process. The car had a few cosmetic issues and Graham Kelly ensured everything was fixed to our satisfaction before the pick up date. The negotiations were fair and no pressure on the extra warranties or any other nonsense. Thanks to Graham for making it a no hassle car buying experience.

After getting an oil change done at Mr. Lube on my 2012 Chevy Cruze the check engine indicator light came on. This was quite concerning and after a failed attempt to have the oil change place rectify the situation I brought my car to Steve Scherer which i should have done in the first place. My service advisor Scott Burns took care of everything with the highest standard of professionalism and customer service. He was straight forward with me and really made me feel better about my situation. Scott kept in constant contact with me in regards to my service issue and he got the job done at a fair price. I must also thank the mechanic that worked on my vehicle as if it was not for individuals such as this technician no one would be going anywhere. Thank you so much! Steve Scherer will be my number one choice from here on out for all my repairs!!!!
The worst service last time my wife brought the van in for an oil change they charged us for Synthetic oil even though when I booked it I had told them I just want the regular oil change / basic also that is the only type I have ever gotten in previous visits hear when I spoke to the service manager he informed me that he would refund the oil change back to the credit card however that did not happen I moved on with it I went to book another oil change last week over the phone I booked it for Saturday at 10 AM when I arrive there today I was advise and saw that SERVICE was closed will not be coming back here that’s for sure
They have no idea what customer service is and would rather lose a customer than take any ownership or try to resolve an issue with clear implications. Sadly, I would no longer trust them to take care of my wheel barrow.

Adrian i had a very similar experience to you, almost identical actually. Afterwards was told by the service manager to never return to said dealership (wasn’t going to anyways) fast forward a month later they’re calling me to schedule service there. I called and told them to stop calling me and take me off their scheduling and she didn’t even seem suprised of the situation or offer any sort of apology/compensation. Absolutely horrible customer service, would not recommend to my worst enemy. On a side note i dealt a lot with Rebecca in the service side on prior appointments and she was extremely helpful and understanding of my frustrations.

Service department is terrible. More specifically the Techs are either lazy or scam artists. Brought my Enclave in for an extended warranty on a power steering loss issue. On a friday, they call about 2pm that my power steering gear is leaking, that needs to be fixed before the power steering pump warranty will be performed. "Where is it leaking?" response "The boots are wet, so its leaking there." So first, they admit the pump has the issue the warranty deals with (complete loss of power steering assist, not sure how this is not a recall) But, won't touch it until I fork over $1667 for a new gear.... So, I decline the $1667, as I'd like to look for myself. I also find there is a TSB on "wet boots"... there is a whole procedure on checking this to see if its a leaking gear or liquified grease. Did they perform this? No, they did not. So, being a Mechanical Technologist, and working in the automotive industry (and having restored many cars) I decide to clean the boots and gear, and see where the leak is. (the fluid level in the power steering reservoir was not low, I checked before it was brought in) 1000kms later, dry as a bone still. No leak. Contact GM Customer service, who contacts them. They still claim it was a leaking rack. But, GM Customer Service authorized me to take it to another Buick dealer for a second opinion. Lazy mechanic that didn't want to dot he job on a friday, or wanted a nice payday... definitely had their own interest in mind, not the customer. Why do I say this? I used to work in an autoshop, they guy that sourced parts for the mechanics, and know how many of them think, and would do this to avoid work. Very unhappy with my first experience with this dealership's Service department. On the flip side, I have dealt with Steve Thomas in the Parts Department... I will not hesitate to come back to him, great guy.

I found a vehicle I loved; but buying the vehicle was not a good experience . I had to ask questions multiple times before getting an answer. I was told one thing one day then it was different the next. They told me 4 different dates for pick/delivery. Then when I got the vehicle things they told me they were going to do weren’t done, what they told me about my vehicle was wrong and I’ve had to get repairs done right away.
Dean was excellent. He asks all the right questions to get a sense of what you are looking for. Always makes multiple suggestions to make sure you have all the options in front you. Made buying my first care a pleasant experience.

I recently purchased a new vehicle at Scherer's as well as trading my old vehicle in. I was pleasantly surprised to get more for my trade in than I originally thought I would. I used the website to let someone know I was interested in buying a truck. Within the hour Graham called me to let me know what they had available and to get more information of what I was interested in. He was extremely polite and was willing to stick around to meet with me at the end of his day. During the meeting he asked questions about me and my life and then recommend vehicles and packages to best suit my lifestyle. I ended up picking a truck that was different then the one I had originally gone in for and I couldn't be happier. His friendly, professional manner made working with him to find a truck easy and comfortable. At no point did I feel pressured or that he was just trying to make a sale by putting me into a truck that wouldn't suit me. Since originally going in I've had a few conversations with him on the phone about the vehicle, and questions I've had with the process. He is always available and takes the time to answer all my questions no matter how small. I would definitely recommend seeking Graham out if you're in the market for a new vehicle.
I brought my truck in as the CEL was on, after they assessed the truck they noted that it required a new catalytic converter to be installed for almost three thousand dollars. I immediately asked them how is this possible, and they explained that it isn’t common, but in your case we have tried everything else and it is required. I then took my truck into another shop, and they found another small issue with the intake system, and they corrected it (only cost $85.00), they then re-set the system, and I have since driven almost 3000km’s with no CEL on. I called up the manager there and spoke with him, and he insisted that the catalytic converts still needed to be replaced, even though the CEL was no longer on. The staff here always are up selling services that are not required, and they try their best to take advantage of people. Buyer beware do not take your vehicle here.
We bought our truck from Scherer Chevrolet at the beginning of this year and we had a great experience. The team there is fantastic. 6 months later we get a call from the dealership saying they would like to buy our truck back, and put us in a different vehicle. So my wife and I head over to the dealership a few days later and we were greeted by sales rep Graham Kelly. Not sure why every time I visit here the price I'm quoted is vastly different than what I pay for service. You can barely understand the bill, and a $90 quote for a part turned magically into $148.95 . Not great customer service folks.

Graham was so very helpful and friendly, he went above and beyond (even after his working hours) and made sure that he was going to find us what we wanted (even with all the truck shortages) and he did. After having a terrible time with bad customer care and outright negligence at Forbes GM it was so nice to come to people who respected us as customers and got to the bottom of the issue. I bought a truck with Graham Kelly at Scherer Chevorlet Buick GMC and it was the best and smoothest experience I've ever had when it comes to purchasing a vehicle. He was very polite, detailed and so informative. I wasn't sure if I should go ahead with the truck but dealing with Graham made me confirm my decision. In fact he advised at times what not to buy and even suggested the right time to buy rather than just pushing a sale. I recently bought a car from here and have been very happy with the service I received. I dealt with Derek as the used car salesman and he was very nice, straightforward and not pushy at all. I had an issue with the car, but they covered the cost of the repair under warranty. Scott explained to me everything that they repaired on the car and took the time to make sure I understand exactly what was done. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to buy a new or used car!
Done a lot of business with this dealership including purchasing two brand new cars and countless services made an appointment to get my winter tires on a week in advance when it came time to bring my car in when I got here they notified me that I was going to be charged twice the amount to get my tires done because nobody liked working with the size of low-profile tires I had ended up costing me 160$ ..

Went into Scherer Chevrolet to test drive a Trail Blazer as I got there Graham Kelly had the Trail Blazer set up with my name on it. Before I went to test drive it he mentioned to me they just got a new buick encore in which had all the features I was looking for and even more than the trail blazer for less money. I took it for a test drive and fell in love with it. Graham, is very friendly and knowledgeable he made my purchase so easy and was very conscious about my budget. I would recommend Graham to everyone he goes above and beyond for his clients and because of him I can now say I'm the new owner of the 2021 Buick encore gx!
