Where do I start? The sales experience was fine, but everybody is quick to treat you really well when they want your money in their hands. It's everything that came after where the true colours of this dealer and it's management really shone. Like thousands of other Kia owners from 2010-2015 with the Theta II engine, my engine failed a few months off warranty and needed replacing. The dealer was quick to want to sell me a $6k maintenance bill, while all other Kia customers were having this issue taken care of for free even off warranty (Kia REFUSES to recall a known faulty engine, don't get me started, just google it). I went weeks with no communication from them on this matter and eventually escalated to Jeff the GM. I got a call that Kia Canada had approved my work at their cost (I'm glad nobody ever thought to call and tell me this until I escalated after refusing to proceed with $6k out of my own pocket), he told me the new engine was in the shop, someone from service would call me that afternoon to schedule my appointment for the next week, and that I'd get a loaner vehicle while the work was done. Over a week passed and nobody called. I deliberately waited to see how long it would take them to contact me, but wasn't expecting a week! I emailed again and was told there was never any engine in the shop for me at all. There was a backlog of 56 engines at the time being waited for ahead of mine, and I'd be in for a several month long wait. FIVE months pass. During this time there was never any updates or communication from Kitchener Kia, nor did Jeff ever talk to me again through this whole experience, not even to apologize for his "misinformation" I was told about my engine "already being in". I had to continually email asking for updates, and rarely ever had all the questions in my emails answered when I'd ask. I finally get the call the engine is in. I won't get started on the poor communication I had trying to book the bloody appointment for my engine change. I dropped off my car on appointment day, was offered a shuttle home, oh wait, a shuttle? Where's my loaner car I was promised? I was told it would take a day, but about a week later I finally had my car back. While it was in the shop, they found another $800 worth of work that "needed doing", shipped my parts to the wrong dealer, shipped my parts to the right dealer, and finally finished the job. Finally, during the last four days of this long ordeal, was I finally offered a loaner vehicle so I could resume getting to and from work. As for the new engine? It literally had screws falling out of it. They never torqued my alternator screws, that led to a three hour driveway fix involving tearing out a headlight to get access. I also found lose screws floating around my engine bay that managed to wedge themselves in a metal nook right beside my belt (thank god they didn't fall into the belt pullies, that would be another bill I don't want to deal with!). I didn't see any empty screw holes and assume they dropped these and just grabbed new ones without finding where they fell. Anyway, it turns out owning a Kia is everything that everyone says it is. Six years into ownership I'd done way more work on it (ahem, new engine!?) than most car owners will do in a 1-2 decade long experience of owning another car brand. Got rid of the Kia after all this - lost all trust in the brand, reliability of my car, and this dealer. I took a large financial loss to never have to deal with Kia ever again. Unfortunately trying to trade in a Kia to another dealer is about as hard as owning one is - nobody wants them! Even after dumping Kia, no matter how many times I click unsubscribe in all their weekly email newsletters, I continue being harassed with their mailing lists - they can't even build a functional unsubscribe feature, let alone a functional car. My new Toyota on the other hand is 10/10, and the dealer service staff are miles ahead of Kitchener Kia in terms of knowledge, professionalism, and candid honesty. I'm a Toyota lifer now.

Serviced my car there on regular basis. Since last service, warranty expired by time only and check engine light came on slightly after. Car drove fine, didn't have time to bring it in and when I brought it in to a different mechanic for oil change in another city, mechanic noticed all wires to sensor were cut. Marc said it was animals that chewed wires, I am more than willing to post pics of wires "being chewed by animals" NOT, rather they were cut flush with sensors. Never to return again.

I bought my car from the Kitchener Kia dealership in October 2018, I though that I had no issues up until now. About a month ago I got my car fully serviced at the dealership. I asked them to check everything in my car to make sure my car was still in good condition. I've been really sick and congested since around the time I bought my car. Come to find out today when I got my car serviced at Mr. Lube that my filter for heat/air conditioning was covered in mould. I am disgusted and appalled that this was missed not once, but twice when I got my car serviced there. Will definitely be taking my business elsewhere.

This was my first car I've bought and he was the first person who didn't just look at me and mostly ignore me assuming I wasn't seriously considering buying a car. These guys are crooks, I took my car today to get winter tires on and engine splash shield. They asked me to pay for alignment without even bothering to confirm or taking my approval and my car alignment is a 100% fine. I was told they have put engine splash shield, upon return I found they didn't put. I have to go there again tomorrow to get it. Be careful and make sure you are paying for you have got, nothing else, they ripped off innocent peoples, specially seniors to offer unwanted services which don't even take effect as a matter of fact.

This will be my third KIA vehicle since 2005; I have always been treated fairly and reasonably when purchasing and trading in; and, have never had issues with their service department. Sales team was very helpful this time around; I came in during a snow storm and walked out with a new vehicle — at the price I wanted and a very fair trade in for my previous KIA. Honestly, i dont trust them. The upsales are unreal, warranty upkeep is very pricey through them. They didnt recommend certain aspects of upkeep, yet wrote on the paperwork that work was declined. For the work itself, i was able to get it completed at my personal mechanic for about half the price. As long as you have copies of the receipts and completed work (thats within the warranty kilometre recommendation), your warrnaty will be maintained. Highly suggest using another place

I went for test drive with my family, even though we liked it, never thought of purchasing on the same day. In-depth discussion with Geoff made us to go forward with our Sorento. I was so surprised with quick financing, everything was so easy. the most happiest thing is the color of Sorento 'Everlasting Gray'. warm welcoming staff, got Good trade in value. I am very disappointed with no free dealership services, Most of the other vehicle dealers offers 3-5years of free service. we are paying a huge amount, but still we don't understand why Kitchener KIA is not offering free service, saying Kia has all features. but that is not a good deal. other than this, Kia Sorrento is Good.

I went in this morning to swap out my winter tires and the customer service lacked luster. I've been a loyal customer for over 7 years and was always greeted with a smile and positivity. Presently, this is not the case. If it wasn't for the early bird discount on your tire installation and storage, I would be taking my business elsewhere. Just because I was the 17th customer of the day, I should get treated the same as the first customer through your doors with a positive greeting. Not impressed with the response I received from the service manager to my feedback about receiving remarkable customer service. After all, isn't customer service about retention?!?

First contact was with Jarek. I told him I wanted to buy a 2022 Carnival and I didn't want the process to be a hassle. He set up a test drive at my convenience, answered my questions and didn't try to "sell" me the vehicle. I just picked her up and Jarek walked me through all the crazy functions and even polished a couple of tiny spots on the body to make sure she was pristine leaving the dealership. It's hard to fairly rate this place. I have had seven straight bad experiences with them in the last three years due to mismanagement of service appointments. My latest appointment, they sent me away and refused to work on my car because they didn't have time to do some critical recall work I was unaware of, so they didn't want to be on the books as having worked on the car without doing the recall fix. Apparently they're more concerned with ratings than the safety of their clients. Either way they deliberately left me driving an unsafe vehicle.

I own a 2015 Kia Soul. I have never owned a brand new vehicle. Anamarija played with the numbers and gave me some options that were in our budget. She called us in on Saturday to review the options. She and Jeremey showed us the car we had in mind. Even Dave, the manager, was out there with us. We walked out of Kitchener Kia as proud new owners of a 2021 Kia Seltos which we will pick up on Thursday! I came here with my dad with the intention of buying the new 2022 Kia Carnival. Geoff Wharton was there to accommodate our needs and was always willing to help. He was very friendly, understanding and helpful. It wasn't only Geoff, the whole staff at Kia welcomed us with open arms and made us feel like we were part of the Kia family from the very beginning (Even though this is our first Kia vehicle). So the rating is 4 stars because the financial employee was nice and fast , the salesman promised me to replace a part for the seat heater, then he didn’t, in total the used car that I bought from them was clean and good and they didn’t lie in anything else than the seat heating thing. I have the car for almost a year now nothing showed up. Except the same day I took it there was a minor issue and I called them ,they asked me to take it back to their service department and they took care of it. In total a good car dealership.

Latest development with Kitchener KIA, when they fixed my brakes they put a stripped screw on my wheel. I was having trouble with the tire so I took it to my regular mechanic to look into and they found this and gave me the screw. I am so glad they found it before my wheel fell off. I am horrified that KIA mechanic could have even done that. I would never feel safe taking my car there ever again.

Bought a Kia Optima here and had the worst experience ever. If you don't want headache and hassles, Avoid at all cost. There are better places out there to make your money worth. My reponse to the manager's comment below: Here's why: prior to purchasing the vehicle, I made it really clear that all discussed issues must be fixed before delivery day because I live in Toronto and I dod not want to drive there for nothing. Your sale ref. promised me so. On delivery day, I called and asked if the car was ready, he said yes, but there was only a small issue with the mud flap (special order) which he would tell me when I came. Then, he promised to ask the manager to have it installed on my car at another dealership so I did not have to drive 100+ kms. Another week passed by, no news from anyone from your dealer. In the following 3 weeks, I made several attempts to work with you guys, then he said the his sale manager did not want to pay another dealer in my area to install the mud flap, I had to drive back there. And yes, I did. However, still nothing was done that day because wrong part order was placed.... etc. As a result, I had to dive back to Toronto emty handed with another promise from used car manager. Beside that issue, there were too many other broken promisses that you guys made in order to sell me the car such as mailing a touch up pen to me which I have never recieved, .....too many to name here. Overall, wasted more than a month with your dealer and a lot of gas and time drive back and forth. It I could, trust me, it would be a zero star review

I went in to get my winter tires removed and my all seasons put back on. With a warm greeting they took down the information they needed and got my keys to perform the swap. They shuttled me home but alas I forgot that my house keys were with my car keys at the dealer's. Without an issue they brought me back to get my keys then back out to my house. I was very impressed in dealing with this Kia dealer! After having a negative experience with the Kia Owen Sound dealership I was considering looking at other vehicles all together. Kitchener Kia had a used Sorento I was interested in but I live far away & also had a trade in vehicle. The staff were fantastic in making it possible to negotiate over the phone, work out the trade-in agreement & made it possible that I could agree to the purchase the Sorento, drop off my trade in & drive home with my new (used) vehicle in the same visit, but also said if I arrived & the Sorento wasn't everything I thought I could walk away from the deal no money lost. This was a refreshing way to buy a vehicle & made the hours long drive to Kitchener worth it. The (used) Sorento is in very good shape, I'm not entirely convinced it was a 'demo or shuttle' at another dealer but after 4months I've had no problems so I'm not overly concered about it's back story.

Went in for an update on my car's software. They did fine with the update but they tried to lie to me about my cabin air filter being so full of dust some might spill out. When I personally went to change it the Cabin air filter was nowhere near as dusty as the salesman was pitching. Although this is very minor it is the principle behind this. How many things do these guys lie or exaggerate just to get more money out of you? My advice is to not get your car serviced here if it can be avoided.

My husband and I have purchased a Kia Forte from the Kitchener dealership just a couple of weeks ago. We have had a wonderful experience overall, and were pleasantly surprised by the degree of professionalism, care, and warmth we have received at every step of the process - especially since we had a VERY, VERY bitter experience at Kia Waterloo right before going to the Kitchener dealership. Kitchener Kia was quite a sharp contrast in comparison to their Waterloo counterpart in EVERY way imaginable. We dealt with Geoff Wharton - a gem of a guy who deserves a special shout out for his impeccable professionalism, transparent sales techniques, and a very genuine touch of sincerity, which, clearly, comes very naturally to him. The General Sales Manager Aaron Hansen was easy-going and helpful, and their Financial Services Manager Marianne was simply a delight to deal with! Jeff Skinner, the General Manager of the Kitchener dealership, was very understanding and highly accommodating - and was instrumental in resolving the mess and issues that were unnecessarily created by their Waterloo counterpart. Unlike many car dealerships (including Waterloo Kia) that we visited before deciding to buy a Kia, this Kitchener centre is different in many ways. For example, we never felt rushed or pushed to make a decision, and at the end of the process, i.e., the day we finally picked up our Forte, we realized that they genuinely care about customer satisfaction - something that was SORELY MISSING in their Waterloo counterpart. In a nutshell I can say that, if I plan to buy a Kia again in the future, I'd go to the Kitchener dealership - even though I live in Waterloo. The Waterloo and the Kitchener dealerships are owned by the same person - so I doubt he would care at all which dealership I am visiting to add a bit more to his profit margin! :) Thank you Kitchener Kia! I was invited to attend a VIP event at Kia Kitchener. I was told that I could see some options for a trade-in and look around. Reluctant to attend, I got myself to go considering the very polite and persistent invitation. When I arrived at Kia Kitchener, I was greeted well and welcomed into the showroom. I spoke with Kate, their customer service associate, who started showing me some options. She provided me with great information and was pleasant to speak with. At the end of our discussion, I gathered the information and informed her that I would like to discuss the offer with my wife and think over it for sometime and that I would get back to her. She immediately flipped personas and started pushing me for an answer. I responded by saying I would like to think over it. She began to argue with me about how she would like an answer now. She was being uncomfortably pushy towards me to make a decision on the spot. I kept retorting back that I’d like to discuss this with my wife and think over it, and it was a very normal thing to say. To push all limits, she went as far as saying you have a cell phone, call your wife right now. I have never been treated this way by any dealership. I have encountered persistent sales professionals, but this behavior was extremely unprofessional and rude. I was accompanied by a friend who was equally surprised with the way we were treated. To make matters worse, she went in and asked her manager, Jeff, to speak with us. He walked to us and said the same thing. He said “Everybody has cell phones these days” implying that I could call my wife and make a decision. Instead of listening to me and assessing the situation, he immediately said that Kate, the customer service associate, I was dealing with, he believed had done an extremely good job in providing me with all the information - to which I responded that I did not deny that, I merely asked for some time. They appeared extremely dissatisfied with the request. They were almost forcing us to say yes and accept the offer and were overly offended at us wanting to take some time to think about it. Customers wanting some time to think over a car purchase or trade in is normal and is expected behavior. I have been a Kia user for a while and I have always been treated with kind, polite and patient sales professionals at other locations. This was my first and hopefully last experience at that location. I went to the location upon the invitation I received and felt so pressured on the spot. I was taken aback as to how they all changed face as soon as I said I’d like to think about it. They argued to the point where they made me question why I bothered coming here in the first place? They also made us feel extremely uncomfortable. They kept throwing numbers at us rapidly and asking us are you gonna say yes to this? To this? Right now? I felt humiliated on the spot for not being able to give an answer and was immediately made to feel all consumed with guilt for making them invest their time in providing us with information. I fumbled to use my words as I felt cornered and wasn’t sure how to react. I did not have an answer and merely requested for some time to think. I came home and narrated the incident to my wife who was just as shocked. We visit car dealerships to see our options and make an informed decision based on the information we are given. A car purchase is a big one and people take anywhere between days and months to make a decision. All I asked was for a couple of hours and I was treated extremely unfairly for a very reasonable request. The Manager, Jeff, ended the argument by saying that they are not able to make everyone happy. Extremely disappointed with this experience. I have always been a happy Kia owner, but this experience has left me bitter and unsatisfied to the point where I will never return to that location.

Came in early morning on Saturday, instantly greeted by GM and sales rep named Geoff. Quickly brought them up to speed on what I needed, he new I needed a Stinger. Test drive went perfectly, he knew exactly what he was talking about, showed all the features. Wasn't pushy or demanding, and very willing to work and hit my target payments. Once I picked up my brand new car, again very knowledgeable, another quick drive to show features and how to use cruise control. Overall a great experience, very quick and accommodating. Trading in my car didn’t go as planned and I ended up losing out on money I was supposed to receive because the papers were never sent away..$400 to be more precise. I liked this location though (I was coming here before trading my car in) so despite that hiccup I continued to do my maintenance here. My last two appointments however have made me sure that I won’t be returning. Both were simple oil changes but neither went as planned. One appointment was completely forgotten about so I had to be squeezed in and it seemed pretty rushed and my last one was a mess. Poor communication and a lack of care in general.

We had called to see if we could come and see a car. Receptionist siad she'd make sure it was on site and she would call us back. She never did. We called back and she said oh ya, it was there and we could come. By the time we got there someone else was test driving it and they bought it. Sales lady said she would get something similar in by Monday from Waterloo. She called us Monday to let us know it was being used a a loaner for a service vehicle. Since when do they use vehicles for sale as a loaner? My guess is it was still being rented as it was a daily rental. Bad experience. Sales lady was nice. We went to another dealer.

Bought a Kia Rio, told by salesman the tick in engine was normal for Kia until warmed up. Of course it worsened daily Took car for free oil change. Car was brought in shop and turned around. No oil change as my mechanic checked it two days later with routine tire change to snows. Oil was close to empty and actually gave me hell for not getting the oil changed. When I complained to service manager he said I was crazy, offered me a free oil change Paid $9400 just over a year ago, value is zero today Worst experience I've ever had in my 54 years When purchasing car there was delay after delay. The were "kind" enough to lend me a van since all the delays. They were aware I would be travelling north with the van. I found out when I returned it this van had never been checked or safeftied and frame was bent. I was driving a completely unsafe vehicle The list goes on....

Took my car in for work and came back with a damaged bumper. They say it happened before it got there, but I can see on my outdoor camera pulling out of my driveway that there was no damage the day I dropped it off. When I asked to see their security footage they said the "Server was getting updates". When I escalated to the General Manager it took 9 days for him to call me back and I had to leave multiple messages. This dealership is very unprofessional from the top down. Nothing bad to say about the Sedona. Just don't buy or service it at this dealership.

Here is my experience with Kitchener KIA: Last Saturday, my father and I were switching my summer tires over to winter tires and to our dismay, after 2 tires were already switched, the key lock was too warped to get the other two wheel locks off. In a panic, my father rushed to a hardware store to see if there was anything we could buy but was told only the dealership could assist – made sense. It was well after 4:00pm at this point, when my father rushed over to Kitchener KIA. My dad knocked on the bay door that was closed and locked and to his surprise a gentleman opened the door and asked how he could help. After explaining the situation, without hesitation, Josh and Richard told my dad to have me drive over and they would be happy to assist. They waited 15 minute for me to get there, were extremely kind and sympathetic when I arrived, Josh quickly removed the wheel locks and I was on my way. This bad situation was turned entirely around because of two wonderful employees! Josh and Richard – thank you for your help on Saturday, you made my day, week, month! In a world where kindness and compassion seems a bit more difficult to come by, it definitely restored my faith to see these two gentleman be so helpful and sincere. THANK YOU!

$65,000 vehicle purchase, had an issue with a defect in the paint not caused by anything not covered under warranty, appeared at less then 1k km, this was over 4 months ago, was told it was under warranty by Kia Kitchener, 1.5 months to by not a single update, had to call numerous times to be told it’s an expensive part to replace, what do I care?? That’s what it’s under warranty, we will call you back soon they said, 3.5 months later, not a single call, took vehicle to another dealer outside KW, handled and taken care of within 3 weeks, how embarrassing, to think I would have had me vehicle service here and given them my business.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP TO PURCHASE A NEW CAR. Our salesperson who was very friendly fed us misinformation. E.g Delivery of new car within 5 days as it was in Milton - 8 days in still no sign of the new car - was informed after the dealership has 90 days to find car even though it was stressed it had to be the 5 days by us. The security deposit was only to be preauthorized and would not be charged to our credit card..it was charged. The salesperson failed to give us page 2 and 3 of purchase agreement which had all the conditions.After deciding to cancel I spoke to Ken , assistant Manager who was extremely rude and refused to cancel the purchase told me they had 90 days to find a vehicle. He went on to tell me " you know how hard it is to trade a gold suv for another one at a dealership. I told him the suv that was promised was in Milton- he told me they did not want to trade. As well Ken mentioned that he had been only at this location for a month and half and it was not his job to check his sales people on what they were selling. Only after filling a complaint with Kia customer service the dealership decided to refund our security deposit and cancel our purchase. Please keep in mind I did leave a message with Jeff Skinner -sales manager about the concern and to this date there has been no call back. My advise is buy your new car somewhere else!

I Bought a used 2013 Santa Fe 3 years ago from Kitchener Kia. The air conditioner never works in the summer, Had to bring the car into Kia so the air conditioner can be re charged. Dealing with the service manager Mark on all visits I found him rude and obnoxious.This summer I called again as the air was not working, again I spoke to Mark, and basically he said that I have to pay with no guarantee that they can fix it. So what it boils down to is. I have to get the air conditioner charged every year. Thanks Mark I would never suggest to anyone to go to Kitchener Kia Go to a different kia dealer.

Great experience with Geoff, sales person, however, overall experience very bad. I was looking for GLK 250 they have listed on their web page for $24,376. There were a couple issues I wanted them to do: 1.) Rotors and brake pads would last another 2,000 kilometers (according to current measurements and Mercedes Manual). They refused to replace them 2.) The summer tires are 4/32" and to pass safety they have to be 3/34". It is 19 deg outside today but they are still keeping winter tires on. At the end I offered $23,5K and I would replace tires, rotors and pads, but they were firm on $24,176, - yes only 200 dollars Now, which dealership would let customer to drive off the lot with tires that are 1/34" over the safety? The bed one. The Sales Manager has no customer skills whatsoever. I email to The General Manager of 2 Kia, No respond. The sign of the bad managed dealership is when General Manager ONLY answers on positive comments, they do not care about negatives.

After bringing it to the attention of the manager only get a response of "this is a very serious matter and will not be taken lightly" and never got a follow up after that. They also like to over fill your car with oil when you go there for an oil change. I will not be back.

This review is NO exaggeration!. The support from service, was ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! This dealership clearly does not care about their customers. They even had the nerve to argue with me, their customer about the concerns I expressed. You can be sure I will be pursuing financial compensation as a result of this experience. When I returned to my the car would not start. I had a look at the battery and I inspected the connections to the battery. I found the following: · The negative connection was loose. (I could move it with my hands) · There was corrosion not only on the binding posts but also on the electrical connections. · I cleaned the contacts with isopropyl alcohol and then used some fine grit emery sandpaper to clean and polish the connections. · I applied conductive grease to the binding posts to the battery and re-installed the connections. · The car started with no issues. Good luck getting a loaner car when you are having major service work being performed. The car rental cost just over $200.00. I will be filing another formal complaint with Kia Canada with regards to this experience! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

I purchased a used 2016 Kia Rio here back in February. Shortly after buying I discovered damage that wasn’t disclosed to me before purchasing. I also discovered rust forming on the roof of the car which I had to pay out of pocket to fix because the dealership wasn’t going to pay for it. I more recently discovered that the car had been involved in a serious accident. I was told that the car had a claim of damage but never directly told it was from an accident and never was told the details of the accident. When I called the dealership, I was told that I signed the papers so that’s what I get for buying a used car. In an attempt to recoup some of my money from the car, I sold it after only having it for 4 months. I only got $6500 for it because the car had been in an accident and was dual tone from whoever painted it after the accident. I paid $10888 pre taxes for the car and it’s only worth $6500. Do not buy a used car from here. They don’t properly inspect it, there’s no transparency about the car or it’s history and their used cars are overpriced for the condition they are in. There is a great used car place on the outskirts of Guelph that’s a 1000 times better and they actually fix the cars up before they sell them. Kitchener Kia is not the place to go if you want a used car. All in all, I paid $13500 for the car and only got $6500 back 4 months later with 2000km extra on the car. While I no longer own the car, I do plan on reporting the dealership and getting the rest of my money back another way. Do not buy a used car here.

OR they could have pointed me in the direct of the company that I could have use in my area that does the warranty work. My wife’s NIRO had the old check engine light come on. I called and I was able to get an appointment within almost the next business day. I was given some helpful advice during the call. The whole appointment took maybe 40 minutes to diagnose. Turns out it was an evaporation warning. Everything checked out and I was on my way. Everything was covered under warranty. This is a follow-up on a previous review regarding issues with a remote starter. Kia is working with me to resolve this issue which I am very happy about. They're going to review the programming with my car and apply some new programming to hopefully prevent my car from locking me out of it. They're also going to get me an additional remote starter FOB because one of them was lost when I removed it from my key chain - this was to keep in my purse in case I am locked out again and can use the remote starter FOB to unlock the car. He keeps the department running smoothly and is very customer oriented My wiper motor stopped on a rainy day and they took me in immediately on a very busy day. You can’t drive without wipers in this weather! he said This past summer my daughter was visiting from BC with her family. Our air conditioner broke/clogged and the passenger side was past our sandals in water...really! We tried to get by and NOT use the air conditioner for days but the water continued to drip and soak.I took it into Marc and the service department took it in immediately, cleared the clog and dried it as best they could. I know it must have been near closing time too. The guys stayed to get it back to us. Our family was able to enjoy the rest of the holiday dry and cool. I don’t review many things but when an exceptional service occurs, well, credit must be extended. My wife had her heart set on a certain colour and model of the Kia Soul which our local Oakville Kia dealership was unable to secure. A quick search online resulted in us finding the car at Kitchener Kia. I should mention how we absolutely despise purchasing cars. I phoned Kitchener Kia expecting the usual come on in and make an offer pitch. Instead the friendly operator transferred me to David ‘Doc’ McDonald. His friendly, professional manner was apparent very quickly and within five minutes he arrived at a price which my wife and I were comfortable with. David provided us with a fair purchase price, an excellent trade allowance and an overall experience which made us re-evaluate our view of purchasing a car. It was very refreshing to deal with a person who was passionate about his job, his product and his dealership. Thanks to David and Kitchener Kia for making our purchase so seamless and enjoyable!

We live out of area approximately 120 km away from Kitchener. We were in the market for not 1 but 2 vehicles. A Soul EX for our son and Sportage Turbo for myself, both 2020. This was our experience at 3 KIA dealerships ... Markham ⭐️⭐️⭐️- $alesman was friendly enough but they were closing just after our first SOUL test drive. We sat for 15 minutes and scheduled another drive test for our son that weekend. Unfortunately I had to work and missed the appointment. I’m still busy and it’s been 2 weeks and they’ve still not called. * TOO BAD, SO SAD, because yes we bought BOTH the 2020 Soul EX+ and Sportage Turbo 2020 somewhere else. Stouffville ⭐️⭐️⭐️- $alesman was very professional inside the dealership/parking lot/test drive. He knew the product and worked well with us. Yes we bought the Soul EX+ from him, it was a good visit - Thanks Lucas HOWEVER the negotiations went sideways with the Sportage Turbo. I WANTED THE EXACT TRUCK IN THE SHOWROOM, NOT ONE CLOSE TO IT! They sold me a Sportage Tech, it looks a little different, but different enough that I stopped the $ale. The $alesman heard but didn’t hear me at the same time. I started negotiating on the Turbo instead, again THE EXACT ONE IN THE SHOWROOM. It took to long and it was late, which is different then getting late. With our last offer signed on his desk we left, just like that! Several days later I sent an email asking to put our deposit back on our credit card. I thought the last offer was not accepted, to my surprise it wasn’t taken to the manager because we had left. He wanted to make another appointment, I declined and said maybe next year when we get our daughter a vehicle. * If you had just taken the initiative and presented our offer and called us. As it turned out your price was $1.00 higher than our purchase price. Kitchener ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - * Rated without even seeing the building, it’s all CUSTOMER SERVICE❗️ My wife had seen an advertisement for their dealership. Thats how we “heard” $alesman GEOFF WHARTON, I say “heard” because we still haven’t met him. He pulled it all together ( trade, cost, options, extended warranty, snow tires, accessories, and colour ), by phone and email. Well be going out for our first time and the end of the week to pick up our 2020 Sportage Turbo. GEOFF WHARTON has a hearing impairment (50%), yet he HEARD and LISTENED to me “THE EXACT TRUCK IN THE SHOWROOM”. So it all came together and we lived Happily Ever After ... We’re looking forward to seeing the dealership and meeting GEOFF WHARTON. However our warranty approved maintenance/service work can be done at any of our local dealerships and there are a lot around us. Pending the conclusion of this sale, I’ll be giving a Co-Worker GEOFF WHARTON’s contact information. Our daughter is next year and maybe my sister-in-law, who is aware of our pleasure - Thank Q Signed, sealed and delivered as promised, NO SURPRISES - Thanks to GEOFF WHARTON❗️
