I went into Kitchener Honda to get leasing information on a new 2017 Civic Hatch Sport. the dealership is nice and clean but as for the sales consultant i spoke to.. He was very rude, and even said "im not trying to be rude here" but he was, he made me feel dumb and that i knew nothing about cars which is not true, i worked at a dealership for 2 and a half years. I was shocked at how he interacted with me, huffing, rolling his eyes, it was not a good experience. Steve did not make me want to ever go back to Kitchener Honda.

We tried for a quote on a trade in vehicle which they quoted close to more than 30% less than other dealers in the area while claiming they gave fair market price. Their attitude was so rude and horrible and we were so shocked by the level of gimmicks and dishonesty from this dealer. We were so glad we chose another dealer in this area. My recommendation is STAY AWAY from this dealer and you will be glad that you make the right decision to walk away without a second thought.

Amazing place to take your car! They were friendly, washed my car after my service was complete (which waterloo never did) and they made the effort to remember my name. This place is the worst dealership I have ever visited. They just wanna get rid of their inventory and get money out of the customer's pocket. I don't think they understand the meaning of customer satisfaction or service at all. I am glad that I didn't end up buying a car from these guys. I would highly discourage anyone to do business with these guys. One of their sales consultants Steve almost rushed and talked me into making the deposit as he had a doctor's appointment that day, but I am glad that I didn't fall for his words. A very rude person and terrible at customer service.

I have a very short experiance with this dealership and an absolutely terrible one. We found a veichele on their website what we liked. Called the dealereship to make sure if they still have it. The sales woman I talked to answered that "sure we still have that" I asked her if we can go to see it and set up an appointment. Also asked her to please call me if you sell it than we don't have to drive that far. (The distance we talk here is a bit over 300 km one way) I understand they not allowed to hold the veichele without deposit but she could make sure to call me when it was sold. Needless to say she didn't. What makes this worse when we showed up she could not even remember which veichele we wanted to see. Then she walked over to one her college and we overheard the person saying "I sold that yesterday" She turns around comes back and saying "Im sorry but it was sold just 10 minutes ago" After I got so mad I just said to myself let's get out of this place. When got myself together mentally about an hour later calld the manager and of course he "wasn't available" so left a message to call me back which I'm still waiting for.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. Sale went well. Price worked. As SOON as I started dealing with the lease/finance department everything went down hill. I had no contact in regards to what was happening with my approval. I received a phone message and then I called back. As we were on the phone he was typing the email I 'should have' received days ago. Upon sending him more information I was totally ignored. I was constantly having to call and talk to this person (if and when he was in. Forget about being able to deal with someone else) just to see if he even got my email or phone message. The most frustrating part was the fact that unless I made my own communication(on a vehicle I put a down payment on and approved for) I was left in the dark. There was a complete lack of communication from him and it felt like he was TOO GOOD (COOL) to do his job. I will never purchase a car from here and will be sure to refrain everyone I know from this dealership. The customer service on the lease/finance department is appaling but most importantly, EMBARRASSING. What a waste of time.

CHEATERS !! They'll just STEAL your money. Experience: AC was blowing warm air in my Honda Civic 2016 Touring. I went to Kitchener Honda and they said condenser is fine, there is a leak at compressor and charged 266$ and told me if I want to fix I should be looking around 1500-2000$. Went to another Honda dealership for second opinion. Turns out it's condenser issue and fixed it for free because it's under warranty.

Our experience at that time was one of nervous excitement as we had never purchased a new vehicle before. I might just have a lemon (2008 civic with 165000 km that is beyond garbage) but we have to fight for every repair, even when the car was under warranty. Each place I went to, I couldn't find a vehicle I liked that fit my budget and if I did, the sales person had intimidated or embarrassed me right out of the dealership. I felt so comfortable so quickly and rather than a cheap, used vehicle, I got a brand new Honda fit for the same money per month. Strongly recommend this place and Trevor in particular. The dealership is the worst I have seen here in Canada. The manager and the employees all try to make you feel that they are doing a favour on you. The worst place ever seen. The delivery was also not a peaceful process. Watch out for the kilometers before delivery and also basic standards for a new car. If you don't keep an eye on them, you might land up with a lemon car. After buying the car, if you enquire about anything, they humiliate you to the least level possible!!! Will never go there again. Better alternative could be London Honda!!!

I visited a few Honda dealerships, but Kitchener Honda stood out. Owen Kuhn was my sales person, and he was absolutely brilliant. He was extremely professional and friendly, and he gave me the best possible deal. Every small detail was taken care of by him, and I never felt left out or overburdened. He took special care that I was knowing each and everything that I was paying for. From the moment I stepped into the showroom, Owen made me feel at ease and ensured the process went smoothly. He also has some nice inputs, just in case you're confused regarding the color, trim, etc. Even after the delivery, he promptly followed up with me to see how the car was performing and how I felt about everything. I would recommend everyone who's planning to get a Honda to visit Kitchener Honda, and specially ask for Owen.

If you have time, it's worth dropping off the car and heading north up the road, across the bridge and then east down the trails along the Grand River. Went to Kitchener Honda on Saturday to shop for an used Honda Odyssey. We spoke with Steve. We had called and asked for him specifically because he seemed to be the most senior person on the website. We arrived and he was busy with another sale and that was fine. We looked at all three that they had and we test drove one. He had another person ride with us and the car had a squeak whenever it went over a bump. We came back and sat down to discuss what payments would look like. He because aggressive and was writing up the deal when we had not even discussed the price or the squeak. We told him that we would sleep on it and get back to him on Monday. He was visibly ticked off at us. Then he stopped us as we were leaving and was a nice guy again. I returned his call on Monday and let him know that we were not interested and he basically hung up on me. The reason why we are not considering buying a car from him however is because some of the things that he said when we where speaking were not true. We double checked on the Honda website and everything he said was a lie. If I cannot trust what you are saying on small things how can we trust you on the big things.

I was looking at my reviews and found that I gave them 5 stars last year when I used to go for regular service like oil change or so. But now when I needed their real service expertise as my 2013 Civic is getting old, they are not up to standards. I paid about 3 visits to them to fix a rattle noise and lose of power but no solution. While another service garage immediately fixed the problem by changing the breaks. Imagine all these visits they didn't notice or think about checking the breaks. So now I gave them 1 star. This dealership is ok for selling cars but not to service it. All they can reply is Sorry to hear that. Please call... No, you need to work and improve your service department. Get professional well trained mechanics and pleasent, customer service oriented staff at the front.

Here are some pictures of what Kitchener Honda thinks is an acceptable condition to present a BRAND NEW vehicle to a customer. I asked to have another vehicle that isn't scratched, I was told " it's black they are all like that, we can get you another one but it will be in that same condition" lowest standards I have ever seen, I'll take my business elsewhere as should you.

I had a bad experience at this dealership, on the day of delivery, the sale guy didn't show up, no one knew where the car was, so it took them some time to find it. The van had a faulty door even though brand new, the trunk wouldn't open in cold weather, they never fixed it. The sale manager chang or chan whatever is extremely rude and disrespectful of customers. I try to complain to the owner but the secretary and sale manager didnt let me see him or talk to him. I would not go to this dealership or actually buy honda anymore.

We bought a 2019 Honda Civic Touring recently at Kitchener Honda. The sales rep, Olivia, greeted us as we walked in to the showroom and answered all of our questions. She seemed very knowledgeable in the vehicles that she sells. She made our new car purchase very fun. Thanks again Olivia. The finance department however snuck a charge of $1668 onto the final sales agreement for the extended warranty which I had clearly told him I did not want at that price. Good thing I looked at it closely. I would definitely recommend Olivia if you are looking for a new Honda.

Ivan tried to sell me a car that couldn't drive safely on the highway. When my family and I expressed our concern he lied, then he tried to pressure us into buying it, then tried to pressure us into buying another car. Dishonest and unprofessional from beginning to end. When he realized he couldn't fool us, his tactics become even more egregious (gaslighting, guilt-tripping, arguing, lying, aggressing). Don't trust him.

I went there to check one of the used cars and steve was the sales agent who I delt with. I started asking him some questions about the car and the warranty. I know that I asked so many questions but this is my right as a customer especially if I am paying the full amount upfront. He was meanest guy I delt with since I arrived to canada from 2 years. I am not sure why he was so mean with me. I asked him about the conditions of the tires and breakes and he just read the report of the car without even explaining the meaning of it. He didn’t even bother to explain to me even that I told him I didn’t understand the numbers he is reading. Finally, he called the next and I told him that I am not interested anymore. He just hang off the phone on my face. If this is your service even before I buy the car, I think nobody will even bother answering me after paying for it. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

I went there and they said there is nothing wrong with my car. I drive my car everyday and i can tell if there is some problem while driving. Anyways they asked to give my car for 1 day and they provide me another car on my insurance and took my credit card info as well. The fun part is in winter season they gave me replacement car without winter tires. And later they call me that they need my car for another 3 to 4 days. And the guy who was service representative he was so rude and unprofessional i feel sad for dealership that they hire these kinda unprofessional representatives. My experience was horrible and I will never ever go there again and will never buy another car from that dealership.

We had a problem with our new car after servicing it at this location as part of a recall effort by Honda on the fuel pump earlier this year. Now Kitchener Honda claimed to us that the right front wheel was damaged and that the nuts on the wheel were missing because they apparently 'fell out from being loose', despite these guys having last service our car. Regardless, we still had warranty on our new car for repairs and this type of repair was clearly covered, yet Kitchener Honda tried to charge us $700+ to fix our problem despite us only ever going to official Honda service centres for having work done on our car. It was clear we were being played and I am considering to report this incident to the Ontario Ministry of Transpo for such malpractice.

Ivan was great and made the process of purchasing a used 2019 cr-v easy. We ended up getting a good trade in value on our old car and his referral on car insurance ended up saving us $60 a month from our current policy. The price of the car was about $1500 less than Autotrader comparable cars, so it seemed like a good deal.

If you're looking to buy a car just go to a different Honda (I went to Cambridge). Sales team is immensely pushy and practically refuses to negotiate any deals with you. I told him what I wanted and that I had done my homework and wanted to know his best price on the vehicle without beating around the bush. So far, my experience with both sales and the service department has been great. Edit: I forgot to add that during the purchase, Errol Edwards did the business paper work side and he was extremely helpful. I told him that it was tricky for us to schedule something to do the paper work at their dealership and rather than trying to figure out the schedule, he kindly drove the paperwork to our home, completed everything, and I just showed up a few days later to pick up the van. He spent lots of time with us over the phone explaining everything is great details.

My first experience with the dealership in 2018 was bad, the salesman that sold me my Honda Civic SE, promised me tinted windows and never happened. Didn’t give me any discount, incentive, nothing, I felt fooled. I came back this year looking to trade my car for something that felt more worth the money that I was paying. I spoke to Owen, who “assessed” my car and then gave me a quote that was totally inaccurate, he had the Lien Charge wrong therefore the whole quote was not accurate, after I took the time to analyze the quote provided to me. I decided to end negotiations with the dealership and I politely emailed him that I have decided to end negotiation and thanked him for his time. So far I haven’t received a reply from him, he is not interested anymore because he won’t make money out of me. Lack of professionalism in their salespersons.

Went to the dealership to address a vibration issue. They told me it was a problem with my tire even though the issue has been present before my tires. I asked for the bearing to be checked, and not only did they not bother looking at it, they ignored all my other concerns before charging me. The service department only looked at things not covered under warranty so they could charge me for the service. I went to another Honda dealer and they told me it was a rim and bearing problem, and nothing to do with the tire. Update: The other dealership fixed my bearing and all problems were resolved, and nothing was wrong with the tire. I will be filing a formal complaint for the matter. I do not recommend going here for servicing.

Not very good Warranty and service aft the car is sold! Now the car is 4.5 yrs old and it's got a leaky caliper. Already did the rear brake pads and rotors twice in 4 years as well as brake service. Stopped getting honda service and went to a trusted machanic. I do not think I'd buy a honda again. The quality is not what it used to be. We did not have a good experience with Kitchener Honda. We dealt with Angel in the sales department and she was actually great. It went downhill when we had to deal with the lease/finance department. When we first met with Errol, it was seriously only for 2 minutes where he mentioned he doesn’t actually start until later and basically rushed us out the door so that he could take off. I would have rather of waited until he was actually available to go over details. I have no clue why they would call him in when he wasn’t even going to spend the time going over anything with us. He said he would contact us later that day which never happened. There was no communication and we were the ones that had to call in to get any updates. We had to deal with multiple people because no one was ever in the office and it was just very frustrating. After over a week of dealing with this, we took our deposit back and went somewhere else. The other dealership was great and we basically got everything done in a few days and got our brand new vehicle within a week. It seriously seemed very unorganized and that Kitchener Honda didn’t care about the sale. Edit: It looks like Honda decided to change their response as they originally had a different response posted. We didn’t receive a response in 2 days. We went in on a Thursday, was told Errol would get back to us on Friday, didn’t hear anything back so called and was told he wasn’t in but would be in on Saturday. Tried calling again on Saturday and was told he wasn’t working Saturday. We finally received a vague email from another person and honestly never heard back from Errol again and had to deal with 2 other people. It was just a terrible experience overall. We had a new car with another dealership in one week and we never felt like we had to chase anyone around.

Then I change my mind on buying the car, call them tell them I am coming to pick up my deposit. I am very disappointed in kitchener honda i bought extended warranty on my car for any paint problem i pay 30 a month and they said they cant do anything if its not “mother natures doing” dont buy warranty or even a honda at all. To clarify on there warranty not covering everything i got the PAINT protection warranty. Please dont bs people

3 years ago I had an experience here that still bothers me to this day. I had decided to purchase a used Honda Fit and looked online and found 3 suitable ones at 3 different locations. I arrived at Kitchener Honda, located the car in the lot and went inside and expressed my interest to the individual who approached me. I was told that someone would be with me, however I stood there waiting by the main entrance for 25 minutes being ignored by every employee that walked past before I finally left. I believe I was prejudged, either because they thought I was poor or not serious about it for some reason. I did happen to have a large beard at the time and that's the only thing I can think of. I purchased another Fit later that day from Wilson's in Guelph without issue and paid in cash. Don't worry Kitchener Honda, even though I only drive Japanese models, I will not be entering your showroom again.

Just say no to whatever extra stuff they warn you about to 'fix' your car, or look elsewhere for getting maintenance done, so you don't get easily scammed.

The only positive experience I have had in car shopping has been at this location. After visiting Ford and Subaru earlier in the day and being extremely disappointed by their sales people we walked into Honda expecting the same experience. Instead we were treated exceptionally from the minute we walked in. Olivia greeted us as soon as we walked in and was excited to show off all of the features of the CRV that I was interested in. She was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of my questions while giving me exactly what I asked for when it came to a test drive. Also, unlike all other dealerships we visited that day, Olivia, recognized that it was myself that was purchasing the car, not my fiance and was the first to actually direct questions to myself instead of him. This is our second time visiting this location and could not be happier.

This is the worst place I been in Kitchener Honda on king street. - I bought a sunvisor for my car. The part guy did not ask me for my car SIN #. I told him the color I want. When the part arrived after few weeks it is a wrong part. I told them it's a wrong part but they would not change it or give me my money back. They were so rude and not professional. -The same day this is happened just before I get my part (sunvisor). They checked my car for engine light. They said it has a problem with the exhaust system sensors and stuff like that and it is going to cast me $2000 CA money. I checked my car over at my home garage and i found broken wire. I fixed it and problem solved. They wanted to charge me $2000 for nothing. In the end when I was there for God knows how long trying to change my part to the right one. They told me to leave and not come back again. How is this place a professional dealer? It is a shame that we have such a dealer in our city like this dealer. Bad people and unprofessional dealer.

I have serviced my new vehicle as well as my 2nd older Honda there multiple times each and have dealt with a number of people in Service. Andrew is quite nice and helpful and goes the extra mile. Blair is simply not nice and would rather argue and forget he's working for customers...and when he makes a mistake and what he said was completely wrong he will ignore it not bother apologizing. Brett, don't bother, seems like he's a deer in the headlights and is checked out most of the time. Bob is decent and I have not dealt with Glen. I going to find somewhere else to service my vehicles.

Blair ALWAYS remembers me by name, although I typically only see him twice a year for routine maintenance. Andrew always takes the extra time to check & double check if my repair is covered under warranty, saving me $500, which was greatly appreciated. Both Blair & Andrew are very approachable & helpful. All shuttle drivers are also very nice & make sure to call & communicate their pick up times beforehand & are ALWAYS there on time. Nothing but good things to say about going here.

Changing the winter tires, I found the dummy that cleaned the brakes at this dealership few months ago thought it was a good idea to spray copper grease on the wheel hub and bolts. I'm shocked: this is a Honda dealership not a 16 yo doing it first time in his garage. Maybe next time I'll pay the 16 yo to do it instead. [...] Fast forward 20 months and 20K km, went to another shop for brake cleaning service, they found brake pads stuck in calipers, rotors had signs of rust and discoloration as a result of previous service at Honda Kitchener. Had to change rotors and brake pads front and rear because of uneven wear. Honda Kitchener nor only did a bad job at greasing my wheel hubs but also their brake cleaning service put a dent in the budget after (I've never had to replace rotors before at only 60K km on the car)

I had a real mechanic look over the “work” that was supposed to have been done with my regular service, and they had done absolutely nothing and then charged me the $200+. Knowing this now, I’m sure they’ve ripped me off before along with many others. I will never take my car back here and I highly recommend taking your car to an actual mechanic who is prepared to give AF and do the work.

Talk to a desk manager ashley, he offers to return the car, or buy another one of equal or greater value or $100 voucher, she loves the car so we think $1000 off the price for all the lies she was told is acceptable, nope no deal, so now i talk to tyler general sales manager (after being left on hold finally hang up, call later get left on hold again for 5 min for them to say hes in a meeting) and he offers the same deal , THEY DONT GET THE POINT ITS THERE MISTAKE , they have a indeminification policy that states check with the dealer to make sure these features are on the car, well asking twice you think would be enough. Will never recommend this honda dealership

The only reason i'm giving one start is because of the front staff, if i could i would've given 0 stars. My main issue is with the parts department. Specifically the employee who i believe was Mexican/Hispanic was disgusting. I dont know much about cars so some of the questions he asked i was unable to provide the correct answers. This review is a little late from when I walked in (about a month ago) but I just reviewed Cambridge Honda as I ended up buying a car from there and felt I should say something about this location. When I walked in I had been car shopping all day. I knew I wanted to test drive the Civic Si but also wanted 4 doors. Apparently this wasn't an option (even though it is). Steve was my salesperson and I did not feel welcomed. He basically said my boyfriend couldn't come for the test drive (without explicitly saying it), but said there's two doors and little room in the car. So my boyfriend stayed behind. The way I was talked to throughout the whole experience, any questions I had I felt like what I was asking something stupid or I had little knowledge and because I'm a young girl I wouldn't actually buy. I could go on specifically about our conversation but it was not a comfortable experience. I left very upset, no questions answered and not wanting to buy from Honda (I've always owned a Honda by the way and used to work on my own cars). I ended up going to Cambridge Honda without intentions to, they answered all my questions right away. Let me see the Civic Si SEDAN on my own before going further into the sale. They even held the car for me with a deposit until I could pick it up. I would recommend going to Cambridge Honda over Kitchener and I certainly plan on getting my car serviced in Cambridge even though I live in Kitchener.

If I could rate less I would. I traded in my 2016 vw jetta for a 2019 civic lx. Upon arrival I told them that I would not be putting money down, I was just looking into options and I would lease a car if they could trade in and match my payments on my jetta. The Salesman pulled up the numbers and showed me biweekly payments that I was happy with. I put down a deposit of $500 because I was told that I would be getting it back when I picked up the car. When I came back later I started signing papers with the finance manager and she told me that I had to pay $5000 dollars upon pickup. I told her this was not within my means and this was not what the Salesman told me. She called the Salesman in and he looked it over and realised that he made a mistake. However the car had already been switched into my name. They told me I had to either pay the $5000 or make higher payments. I couldn't get out of this even though it was entirely the salesmanship fault. The Salesman tried to get me a deal on the car to make up for it but the sales manager yelled at him about us in a back room loud enough for everyone to hear. He was very unprofessional and we felt very uncomfortable. In the end they made me pay more then I was comfortable with because of a mistake on their part. Since then I have been charged 350 dollars by volkswagen because they still haven't bought out my car from them. Whenever I call kitchener honda they say the cheque has been sent. And when I call volkswagen they say they have not received the cheque. It has been over a month and I am currently paying for 2 cars. This whole experience has been awful and I would not recommend this location to anyone.

I had barely looked around when I was pushed to an agent who then told me based on the first question that the vehicles I was looking at weren't for me. No test drive, no explanation of the vehicle, just take my info and call me 5 times in a row to get me to come in and buy afterwards. Seriously, one call is enough... If I don't call back, I'm probably not that interested and it's a good indication to STOP PUSHING!

We went to Kitchener Honda in search of a second vehicle fro my wife. She had seen one on their website, and as soon as we got there we were received by Linda Bahar. She happily showed us the car in question, and mentioned another one that had also just come in, with all the same specs but lower kms. This led my wife to ask about other used vehicles that they had available. Linda showed us a red beauty, 2017 Civic Turbo, with only 50 k on it (the original one we went to see had 175ish). We took it for a test drive and it fit my wife like a glove. Linda masterfully took us through the process, which amounted to filling out the paperwork and talking about financing with the finance guy, and we picked the car up a few days later. We had a few issues that needed to be worked out, and Linda was there every step of the way with us, helped us get things immediately sorted out, and we could not be happier with how everything turned out. When it is time for me to replace my Ford Escape, I will definitely search out Linda, as this was the best used car interaction that I have ever had in my life. Linda Bahar FTW!

The worse service I've come across in my whole life. Their agent moe albayati lied to me and made me pay money using my poor English. Moe also promised me after sales service and all I got was nothing, such an agent, full of lies, and his co-workers covering for him. They didn't even let me meet a manager to explain my issues. With all warranties they made me pay for, they still ask me to pay more now. Avoid this dealership. I wish Google let me put zero star, cause they don't deserve even one. I also wish Honda Canada take an action as this dealership misrepresented them.

Terrible experience. Would not recommend. Had my fiancé wait 2.5 hours in service to then tell him they couldn’t find the diagnosis and he would have to drop the car off for another minimal of 2 days. They would not offer him a rental at this time either. We called Cambridge Honda to find out that if there is a manufacturer defect he would qualify under his extended warranty that he paid for- a rental vehicle. I recommend to take all your service needs to Cambridge. They are friendly and efficient.

Need to work on your customer service. I am looking to buy a used Honda for my son. I called and asked for a specific salesperson that I have dealt with before but they were away for the weekend. I asked for someone else to send me their used car listing but everyone else was busy. Shouldn't the response be "I will take your name and number and someone will get back to you as soon as possible" ? Better work on that.

Worst dealership I have dealt with. Very unethical. It is like dealing with a bunch of high school students that have no respect their business or customers. I canceled additions to my vehicle an hour after I signed and I was told it is too late and then I was threatened to be taken to court. Asked to talk to a senior manager and they also threatened to take me to court. Be very, very, very careful if you are naïve to do business with the dealership. If you are in the market for a Honda, go to Cambridge Honda. I dealt with Stan and everyone at this dealership is top shelf and treat you like you are their top priority. I never write a review, but I am this concerned with the actions of this dealership.

Looked online and found two 2018 models we were very interested in. Dropped by the dealership at 11:00 on Thursday Aug 1st. We wandered around the small showroom for almost 40 minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Several staff walked past us multiple times and the receptionist was there, but totally ignored us the entire time. When someone finally approached us we were told that the "website had been broken for quite some time" and both of the vehicles we came to look at were sold. I only have one star because I had to, they definitely didn't earn it.
