My wiper fluid just died, I drove into the service centre at Kitchener Ford and I never even had a wait. You booked me in right away and it only was an hour to fix now that’s service.. I hit a pole in a drive through and scuffed my bumper :( I was driving by Kitchener Ford and realized that they had a body shop, i went in to inquire about how much it would be to get it fixed. The guy working there walked out with me and said "oh that's nothing, ill fix that for you right now" Came back out with a rubbing compound and got the scratch out! and didn't charge me a thing! Amazing service there! Would recommend to everyone! And the best part, I don't even drive a ford! Just goes to show how amazing they really are there!

I was very happy with Charida's prompt and effective communications. The work was done quickly other than some unexpected repairs that required extra parts. Somewhat concerned that we saw unmasked personnel sitting at a small table during lunch outside the service area. In this Covid-19 situation management should be aware of the situation and accommodate them with better seating arrangements that respect social distancing.

This is hands down the best ford dealership I have ever been to. Michelle from the service department was very friendly and helpful. I came in with a loose control arm on my 2016 mustang, and not only did they replace everything free of charge, they even performed a free alignment on the vehicle! I have never seen such generosity from a dealership before. Usually getting a dealership to warranty a vehicle is a major hassle, but with Kitchener Ford, it’s just simply not the case. Having purchased my vehicle from east gate ford in Hamilton, I can say KITCHENER ford is hands down the better dealership. Whether it be servicing, or purchasing a vehicle, Kitchener Ford should be your GO-TO dealership in southern Ontario. I wish I could give this dealership 10 stars! I’ve been to multiple ford dealerships in the past, and now I’ve found one that I can stay with. Kitchener Ford has made a repeat customer in me. From now on, I will refer every friend and family member to this dealership, and you should too!

Took my car in for its regular service and also added that my seat was creaking. This was the second time I brought my car in and it didn't squeak for them at all ( it never does) I showed a service tech and Matt Chan a video I had taken of the squeak and they diagnosed it right away. No haggling over whether I would pay or if it really mattered, they promised to order a new seat back right away. My service was also done earlier than I had expected and they treat my car with respect. Love the service

Overall poor experience at this dealership. Initial meeting and consultation with the sales associate was pleasant and even ended up settling on a truck that I felt was perfect for me. I paid a deposit and signed an agreement with the financing manager. The truck was coming from a sister dealership and I was told by the following Tuesday, I would be able to come in and take ownership of the car. Tuesday comes around and I don't hear anything.. then Wednesday, then Thursday, then Friday. Meanwhile I'm making several calls and emails with no response from anyone at the dealership, only to find out that the truck I had a 'bill of sale' on was no longer available and I was out of luck. I understand that things happen, and I am not one to complain about service.. but there was literally ZERO communication with me throughout the process and I was left with rearranged finances, the sale of my current car and a bitter taste in my mouth - all without finding a vehicle with the dealership. Picking up the phone and answering emails from customers that have given substantial time and money to your business should be the easiest service to provide.

Great service as always. Professional and treated with respect always. I am a Ford girl through and through all because of the exceptional service provided. This time around I wasn’t so satisfied. I had my usual oil change plus a problem with my wiper sprayers. After they tried to fix the problem the conclusion was there was ice build up costing me 155$. This is unacceptable in my eyes as companies usually ask permission to go ahead with stuff that is going to cost you. As well as they changed my wiper blades when I had already changed them two weeks before resulting in more wasted money without consulting me. Overall they are always friendly but had a bad experience this time around.

Recently bought a new Ford Focus from Kitchener Ford. We had Mitch James helping us out, and we were not disappointed. The first day we went to browse at cars, it turns out that the dealership was just closing down for the night. Mitch was already in the parking lot ready to leave, and took the time to come back in with my wife and I, and show us some options, and even go out on a test drive. We appreciate that its about making the sale, but he really did more then that, and we won't forget it. I pre-arranged the service and provided as much detail as possible on work to be done, timing to get the vehicle back and left my number if there were any changes or approvals needed. Unfortunately, those details were overlooked. No call to me to let me know. I called around 1:00 p.m. and the vehicle had not even been in the Shop. My request to pick it up at 11:30 a.m. obviously went unnoticed. I understand these are challenging times but a simple text or call would have been appreciated. Unbelievable experience! They worked miracles, one in particular service man worked a miracle... I had done my oil change and Lube n' go not to far and within 20 minutes my car was misfiring and I could not accelerate. I managed to make it to Kitchener Ford where I bought my vehicle originally... every FORD was booked solid and this was Aug.1st right before the long weekend. It was my wedding anniversary and we were to leave the next morning to drive across the country. At this point I had no vehicle anymore due to very bad oil sludging and going through my engine. The stress was extreme, the service gentlemen made no promises but said possibly tomorrow afternoon but they were booked up til Tuesday... best case, I leave a date late or worse case I don't leave at all and cancel. Within 5 hours I had my vehicle fixed and back to me. The relief I couldn't explain... just saved my vacation to go see my family in a big way!!!!

WoW what a great no pressure, knowledgeable and refreshing experience. I’ve bought a lot of vehicles from new to used with different dealerships but this was by far hands done the best experience. With Cvoid appointments were required and everything was done via text, email or phone after words till delivery. My sales rep was Conner Fairbrass. Pat dealt with the finical end of things. I first contacted Conner 1 year ago about trading in to a F150 however the numbers didn’t work at that time. I than contacted Conner again about a used 2018 F150 on the lot. First appointment went smooth and wife/ along with myself had more than ample time to look over the truck/ test drive. We put a deposit down and than let Pat get to work. We couldn’t agree on interest rate but I stayed firm in what I wanted in interest rate and Pat delivered within 24hrs. From their every detail on the truck was taken care of what I wanted taken care of and even things I didn’t think of right away I was able to easily able to contact Conner to have it done. The best thing was the rims that he surprised us with on picking up the truck that really made the look and truck pop. Thank you again Conner and Pat. Having been in a “total loss” accident recently, we were really dreading the shopping process for a new vehicle, I literally only went to one place - Kitchener Ford. Sure I looked on Kijiji and Autotrader and had other leads but in person, this was the only place I went to. It was all that was needed! Kurtis was above 5 stars in Service, accommodation, knowledge, etc. There is no pressure buy, very laid back and relaxed atmosphere. Truly enjoyed dealing with Kitchener Ford. I have purchased other brand trucks from their respective dealerships and bar none- BEST experience we have had in buying a truck. They actually care and are very aware that you’re investing a great deal of your hard earned money into their vehicles. They follow up, inform and make the process very comfortable. if you buy a vehicle here, beware. They are dishonest. They will lie to you. And i got a bogus safety. I was told the safety would be done within 1 week after my purchase, but when i picked up my vehicle the safety they gave me was dated 2 weeks before i even put down a deposit. When i took it to my mechanic after he discovered 4 things that shouldve never passed a safety. The check engine light was on and the mechanic told me it would go off after driving it for a week or two. That was total bs. Never happened. Had to take it to my mechanic to fix it The detailing was also poorly done. There were coffee stains in the glove box and other areas that werent even touched. Dealing with Victor was very frustrating. Terrible customer service . STAY AWAY from this place.The entire experience was 1 big headache because they couldnt even be honest and do a proper safety. And never buy a Ford..Toyotas are way more reliable

I have a 2018 F150 that I brought in because of an issue with the sunroof. First they were not able to fix it because it needed a part, but they would call me in a day or two once it arrived. A week later, no call, so I have to follow up. I can’t speak to the service person I felt with, but the person on the phone said it looked like the part was ordered and she would have the service consultant call me back. Again, no follow up from Kitchener ford. Another week passes and I call back. Parts been in for days. Anyway have to book another appointment for a week out. When I get to that appointment, they tell me it has to be done by the body shop, and I have to reschedule yet again for two weeks out. Finally, I get a call today, that the only person who can do the repair isn’t in the day they booked me for. Have to reschedule yet again. 4+ weeks, and still no resolution to the problem. Terrible customer service! Update: Within 26 minutes of receiving the Google review, Kitchener Ford contacted me to move my appointment up by a week, which is probably a good thing. My truck was brought into their body shop to resolve the issue. At this time we found out the parts ordered were not what was needed, nor was the problem theirs, it’s back to square one in n the service area. This was last Friday. It is now Wednesday, and the truck has been with them and there is no confirmation on when it will be ready. Since my original post, the customer service has greatly improved from both the Body Shop and The Service Consultant, but I have been without my vehicle for 6 whole days now. They have offered me a free rental in between, but at this point I just want my vehicle back... Repaired properly!!! Update #2: It took 10 days with my vehicle in the shop the whole time to repair a broken track in the sunroof. Since the initial post, the customer service greatly improved, but when I got the vehicle home, noticed the after all this time, all this effort, the job was not done correctly. They had to come to my house to replace two of the rubber seals that were not put back together properly. A nightmare of an experience. Update #3: Third time I had to go back for issues with the sunroof. This time the cloth underneath was crumpling up the underside each time it was opened. They fixed the issue in a single visit this time, but I have lost count of the number of times I have been there for service for the same feature and my truck is not 1.5 years old yet.

Had my truck in for service. Minor rattle sound. Charged me 150$ to rescue a heat shield. As soon as I drove off the lot I realized they made even louder and did not fix the issue. Made another appointment the next day. They said there was no noise. Took the service tech for a drive and pointed out the VERY loud rattle. He pretended he couldn't hear it for a while and then finally admitted he could hear it. Said I'd have to book another [third] apointment and walked away from me. No apology or sign of empathy whatsoever. Still have an annoying rattle.

First off our salesman Ankit whent above and beyond to make our purchase as easy and stress free as possible, not to mention the great deal on a quality used vehicle. Odd and Oddities

I'm pleased with the experience. I bought a 2017 Flex today, and Michael was very nice, and quite helpful. I noticed some clear coat peeling on the car, (its used), and the manager came out and said 'if the warranty doesnt cover it, we will.' They also replaced a cracked interior panel, for free. It's a level of service that you don't expect going to a dealership. I will definitely go back when I'm looking for another car. Great experience.

Not the greatest experience I've ever had at a dealership. Looked at a truck Friday, sales agent was nice enough but definitely gave me the impression that "this is our price, if you don't like it don't waste our time" and that's before all the admin fees etc. I made an offer anyways the next day: never got a reply. I ended up buying the same truck from another dealership 3 days later for $5000 less and no extra admin fees. Was a much better experience and deal overall.

I love the set up of this service department. Al is great and tries to help by keeping his customers updated. I took my work truck in with an issue and they were able to get all necessary approvals with my company quickly. Only reason for 4/5 stars was due to me having an appointment back in November, arriving first thing in the morning, only to find out that my part was given away to someone else. Al worked hard to get it ordered and kept me updated with rescheduling my repair. The part was on backorder so I had to wait till December (now) to get the vehicle fixed.

It was the worst service I've had in the life of my 5 ford vehicles and all Ford dealerships. I was told a few hours for my servicing. Dropped off my Edge on Tuesday morning, recieved an Uber ride to my place of employment. At end of the day I was told that they had the wrong piece and would need more time due to unforeseen events. I finally received a text on Thursday morning saying that my Edge was ready to be picked up. Two days for an oil change, winter tires swap and a trunk clip I had to ask for a bill adjustment due to this delay. I had to find my own way home the first day and due to the lack of vehicle on Wednesday was forced to take a day off. Unfortunately, I have experienced the worst service visit in the entire life of my 5 Ford cars. This may be my last.

Me and my wife had an AMAZING experience! The sales associate Connor was very helpful and understood our needs completely and was so understanding! He was able to put us into a brand new truck within a week and made the process so easy and not stressful at all. He continues to provide us with amazing response time on any and all questions even after our purchase. Aswell the finance manager Jelena was just as helpful and made the paperwork process very easy to understand and made sure we were always on the same page and had constantly updated paper work if things changed no matter how small or big she took the time to tell inform us. I had a major brake issue with my F150 and they were booking for November 22nd, but because it was a safety issue they managed to fit me in to get the problem assessed the same day. Mike from the service counter worked hard to get my truck repaired the next morning so I could use it for travel on the weekend. Thank you folks for excellent service again!

Multiple problems with my Ford Fusion SE. At 145k it turned into a rock. They can't tell me what caused it, how to prevent it or if it'll even stop if I replace the engine on it. Repair was worth more than my car. Bought it brand new off of them. Had nothing but problems. Brought it somewhere else and got a much better trade in value. They tried to say I never changed the oil which I always was on top of. Brakes costs me 820. Did the others for 350. Really disappointed. Hope Ford does something about a loyal customer but I doubt it

I bought my first pick-up at Kitchener Ford less than 2 weeks ago. Great bunch of people, who really care about the cars they are selling. We have owned several Ford suv's over the years (as well as several other brands and vehicle styles) but we have never had a more pleasant yet thorough vehicle buying experience. Not once, did we feel pressured or coerced into anything, in fact we found the entire process to be somewhat leisurely. I should mention two members of the staff who we feel deserve a little acknowledgement. Alyssa provided us with not only very competitive prices and rates, but she also presented us with several fantastic truck choices, for us to consider. Mike, was the most easy going and jovial sales person we have ever dealt with. His friendly demeanor put us at ease, and we truly enjoyed learning about the vehicle from him. If you're thinking about buying a Ford vehicle, don't bother going to the other guys, go where they'll treat you right ... Kitchener Ford.

Had a quick recall service on my Explorer here. Everything went good! Parts was in in time and job was done in time. Update: Alignment on front wheels was done on the car while the recall service. for ~80$ because they said its needed. Probably just to make up some money on the free service. Today i noticed that my steering wheel is out by 15-20 degrees to the left. I asked few mechanics, it it happens when the alignment job is done poorly…. , i contacted service today morning around 8am, they told me they will come back ASAP to me, now its 8:47pm they never called back. i don't recommend this place! Only 1 star but if i would i would give 0…..

I purchased an SUV at Kitchener Ford in March 2019. I had a great experience with my sales person! My experience with finance was ok, I may have been nieve/ignorant towards some if the additional items that I was talked into, but not a terrible experience at all. I've had excellent customer service with parts and service. Gary was great and so was Mike at the service centre. And, I very much enjoyed the conversations I had with my shuttle drivers when I had my vehicle in. They were prompt and efficient. I would definitely recommend this dealership!

My snow tire appointment wasn’t booked until the end of the month so I had planned to just pick my tires up from Ford and take them somewhere else to be installed. Not at the fault of Ford, just for my sake as I had a lot of out of town driving ahead and didn’t know what the weather would be like. When I went to pick them up, they mentioned that there had been some cancellations and could do the installation if I wanted and I said yes! Within a couple hours they were changed and it was so much easier than taking them elsewhere.

This review is for service department: I dropped my Lincoln at Kitchener Ford for a regular maintenance on Jun 30th, because Waterloo Ford was fully booked for that week and I did need a long drive for camping during the Canada day long weekend. They told me that I need to replace my rear brakes and service my front brakes for $700, it is so pricy by anyway I said yes because this is a leased vehicle, I would need to pay the money out now or when I returned it back. I picked up the car at 6pm and went to a supermarket 5km away, then when I got on the car at 6:30pm, there is a error message, and all my light signals and electronics did not work at all suddenly. I drove back and talked to Bobby who is the sales manager there, and he agreed to give me a rental car for the coming long weekend. Everything until here I still satisfied but not quite happy, BTW, Bobby's nice and helpful. The Tuesday morning, I got a message saying that the tech is checking my car and they will let me know when they know how long this process would take. However, no one contacted me anymore. Then I went to the store and see my car is Sitting OUTSIDE and apparently everything is done, but no one actually would like to spend 30s text me to pick up my car. Then the service representative lady tried to charge me $217 for this follow-up repair. It is so obvious the computer program was affected when they tried to replace the brakes and my car is still under warranty. I knew my supervisor was very unhappy with this Kitchener ford service as well, and we decided not to go their anymore, in case next time when they do something wrong but they still wanna to ask their customers to pay for it. We have one Lincoln and one ford in house right now, and thinking about to buy a truck later this year, but it would not be ford from today. Just to complain.

I shopped around for the best SUV as I had issues with getting in and out of our sedan. Mario Lulay , a great salesperson, met me while I was checking out the stock on hand .He suggested a test drive and after driving for 15 minutes I knew we had to talk seriously. After taking the car home and asking Joan for her opinion we put the Escape on our list of possibles. The negotiations started in earnest and after much discussion we agreed to purchase a 2017 Ford Escape. We took delivery March 14 ,unfortunately later than planned, but we are convinced that we are driving the best SUV that is available today . Had my truck in here to get an extra hey cut. Suddenly I needed a pin in my ignition lock cylinder replaced... It cost me $800 to get a need hey and the pin fixed. 5 days later I had to get my truck towed back to have it fixed again because my ignition was totally jammed. Eventually the problem was fixed. Both times I was left without my vehicle for a whole day when the fix was supposed to be 2 hours. I waited in the lobby for 1.5 hours and they came out to tell me it wasn't going to be fixed. Frustrating. Both times my vehicle was there overnight I received a sales call from them asking if I wanted to know the value of my vehicle as trade in on a new one...both calls were a week away from each other but they didn't realise they were calling the same guy. Kind of impersonal and detached to call twice in a week when all I want is my vehicle to work without issues and a key. The service manager was really nice.

I booked an appointment for an oil change and car wash. Was told that it was contactless drop off and the waiting room was closed. Completely understandable I assumed, at most it would take 45 minutes for an oil change. When I dropped off the truck, I filled out the envelope stating I was there for an oil change and car wash. Then a gentleman told me it would be a few hours wait ( not 45 minutes)!! I had my 2 year old daughter with me. We were just going to walk around the area for a bit, while waiting... but a few hours?!?! What's the point in booking an appointment to still have to wait hours. Luckily I was able to get someone to pick us up so we could wait at home. Also the car wash was never done and no mention that it wasn't going to be done l, when the lady called me to pay over the phone. Incredibly annoying because I had my daughter with me and the rest of the afternoon was a complete write-off.

Had a serious manufacturer issue with the transmission on my focus. Unfortunately Ford Canada could not extend any coverage and was very unhelpful, but the dealership - specifically the manager, Darren, and service team members, Charita and Michael - did their best to address the issue, fix it and provided a very high level of customer service doing so.I was very impressed with the responsiveness and level of care provided by the Kitchener Ford dealership. Ford Canada as the manufacturer needs to take responsibility for this issue and at minimum, cover a portion of the high costs associated with repairing it. It's too bad the dealership had to take the brunt of my frustrations, but I feel they did all that was possible given the situation and having their hands tied by Ford Canada.

Customer service from the service department is always good and pleasant. Coolant has constantly leaking out of my 2014 Escape which has now been in twice to be looked at and been told they can’t find the issue. Had the car towed there because car totally failed on me today, completely overheated. Ford Canada doesn’t want to seem to take ownership of the coolant system failure/recall and now I’m down a vehicle. Don’t know what to do. Edit: Thank you to the owner for reaching out and helping me find a solution to the ongoing issues with my vehicle.

I had difficulty deciding how many stars to give, because part of my experience was amazing and another part of it was not at all. Aidan Allard is a young but EXCELLENT sales person. He was attentive, he very promptly answered my questions even before I came into look at the 2016 Edge I was thinking about buying, when I went in he was friendly and clearly was willing to show me everything with patience and a lot of knowledge. He was EXCELLENT. Sadly, the car didn't have everything I wanted, so I didn't buy it. However, he showed me a 2017 Edge, which was absolutely fine, but it was what came after that upset me. The sales manager, Braden, came over to try and talk me into the 2017 Edge. It was $4000 out of my price range. I made that very clear. He talked me in circles and pressured me for 45 minutes until I finally said I needed to step outside and make a phone call. He wanted to "put in a favour" by getting me a better deal on the car, although it would still have been out of my price range, and the way he did it turned me right off. I'm a single female, and I felt that he was completely taking advantage of that. I thankfully had enough sense to walk away. I would never want to deal with that type of pressure again - it actually made me feel sick to my stomach the way he wanted me to agree to buying the car BEFORE he went to see if he could get me the deal. Summing it up: *Aidan - amazing - made me feel comfortable and really knew his stuff. *Braden - tons of pressure and tried to smooth talk me into buying a car I was NOT comfortable paying for and was out of my price range (which I said over and over).

Best experience buying a car ever! My husband and I wanted to pass along our Matrix to our daughter and were looking for a compact car to replace it. I found the one I wanted online at Kitchener Ford on a Sunday. I sent an email in to request info on the car and had a response from Phil Mahy within in an hour. Several emails back and forth and I had a deal that I thought was more than fair. Went in for a test drive, loved the car, set up the deal and picked it up on Thursday. After just having a nightmare experience at a different dealership purchasing my husbands new Jeep - this was very much appreciated. Everything was in order and looked after quickly and VERY efficiently. There were a couple of things that Phil pointed out to me that HE wanted taken care of before I got the car. He went above and beyond to personally chaperoned my service appointment and ensured I was kept informed of the progress of the repair. He then spent a lot time showing me all the features of the car (Ford Focus - I LOVE it!) and ensuring I was completely satisfied with him, the car and the dealership. I can honestly say I have never had such personalized and friendly service - it didn't feel like it was just for the sale - it felt like this was the way they always do business. The good news: Through either coincidence or effort, they were able to get me a next day appointment. Everything was done on time and the waiting area was comfortable. The bad news: All I needed was a vehicle safety inspection which is a pretty basic thing that any mechanic can do but I wanted to go through the dealership for ease of mind. The total cost was roughly double what an independent mechanic would charge, but that was expected. What was not expected, however, is that even though I enquired about the exact cost when I booked the appointment the day before, they still managed to charge an extra $10 for the "safety inspection slip"... Shouldn't that be part of the inspection? Why am I being charged for literally a piece of paper and why was this not disclosed beforehand? I was put off by that.

Went to see David S after a phone call about a deal I had pending at Woodstock ford. He assured me that they would be able to beat the pricing. After I arrived we waited 30 minutes to speak with David about the deal. Once he came out to speak with us he handed me the keys to another truck I had inquired about and told me he would be right out to give us a walk around of the truck. He never came out- After I told him the truck wasn’t for me he proceeded to walk us out the door without mentioning the deal we had pending with Woodstock ford. After I reminded him of the deal he went to try and see if he could beat the price as he stated over the phone. He couldn’t. At that time I went to look at another truck I had interest in that was in the lot- he handed me the keys and again, no show for the walk around. got to the truck- the door was broken and wouldn’t close, the battery died so I couldn’t fire up the truck. Went back and told him about it, at this point I had no interest in purchasing a vehicle from this location even if they beat the pricing at Woodstock ford. To my surprise, he couldn’t beat the price although assured over the phone. Long story short- dont buy a truck here go to Woodstock ford, better deals- better service and I love my new 2018 F150 from WOODSTOCK ford. I own a contracting company with a fleet of 6 vehicles and I assure as long as I am in business I will not be purchasing a vehicle from this location.

Even when signing the paper work, the finance manager tried adding on extended warranty without telling me. when it finally came time to pick up the vehicle, it had two noticeable scratches on it. when I made it known to them, they said they would get it fixed immediately. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything from them, I called only to be told they had forgot about it. I finally got it fixed but only after getting the general manager involved. save yourself the time and stress and don't waste your time here.

Had my new Ford SUV serviced for the first time today. Not a great customer experience. Went in for an oil change, system update, check a couple of items not working & tire rotation. Since they do not drive to Cambridge ,which I don't understand as listening to the drivers on the other side of Waterloo is further, I needed to wait for my car. After almost 3 hours I was on my way , only to find out the two items to be checked were still not working after given a bill saying all working. So I proceeded to wait as they took car back in after 40 min I went to check and my car had not even gone in to be checked. I was told that they couldn't find someone to look at it as they were on lunch. Well needless to say I wasn't happy. After 5.5 hrs I was on my way with a part being ordered. The manager did check in with me a couple times in the last hour. Unfortunately this was not a good experience and although I have to go back to get the part put in I am not sure I will be taking future service to this location.

Absolutely the worst experience i have ever had. i brought my truck in to remove mykey from the system . i signed a 69.99 charge for it and chosen to add in a diagnostic for $179.99. when they tried to remove mykey they messed up and couldnt start my truck for 5 days. When i got my truck back they charged me $730. They also broke my front window and will not take responsibility for it. My advise would be to stay as far away as possible from this place

I have a 2017 F150 that has a problem with the driveline or transmission I have complained about this problem for over two years had it in multiple times and still there is no resolution. When I go into the dealership I just get a ( not this guy again feeling) not sure why they have always been curious. When you have been a long time Ford customer and spent your hard earned money on something you would like it to be right. It is just frustrating that after all these years and visits they still say NFF ( no fault found) I guess it’s just a waiting game now until I run out of warranty than the problem will be fixed. I must add that there was another long time problem with my sync/radio that was in countless of times that they have fixed finally Thank you.

This was our first time dealing with Ford. We met with an Adam Crouch who helped us find our Ford Edge off of the Hyundai lot and finance it for us. He was very outgoing, fun, friendly and seemed knowledgeable. The SECOND day of owning the vehicle, the dash lit up like a Christmas tree, we took it back in and they “fixed the issues”. Not even a week later, engine light came on again and the check fuel inlet came on again. This time we called Ford over and over and over with promises of returned calls and it went on for over a month. Finally, I called and lost my mind and hey, all of a sudden people wanted to jump and help. We took it back in again they again said it was fixed. Four months later, lights came on again. Now. We are 12 months in and the lights are still on and we completely lost our brakes which they fixed but they still haven’t fixed the engine light or fuel inlet. MY BIG ISSUE- when we bought this car, we purchased the 1 year warranty we were offered and told by Mr Crouch that he’d also give us a one year free on top of that. We have nothing. Our warranty we paid for is up, we still have a million problems and no warranty. Thanks Ford! Horrible experience and wish it was different.

Called to book appointment and had to leave message on specific appointment line; 3 1/2 hours later no response so called again and specified to talk to service directly. Apparently booking line goes to somewhere in Barrie and I guess my appointment wasn't important enough. Took truck in following week for coolant change and at end was told my fuel system needed cleaning (supposedly that involves cleaning throttle body). Contradicts what dealership told me in Sept 2015 (when I changed same part) that they don't clean throttle bodies because it removes the special coating on inside, so they just replace. They also kinda missed the brand new throttle body I had installed three days earlier ;) Leaves me wondering why they were trying to sell me something I didn't need. Interesting though that they didn't mention the leaking rear shocks which I DO need replaced. Oh, and the day AFTER I had work done, the service department called to say they had booked my coolant change for the next week ... :O Not good experience with sales department and have in fact purchased both vehicles from other dealerships. Parts department is excellent though. Response to email I sent (direct and cc'd) about my experience, to the three top people at dealership has gone unanswered for 11 days now so it would appear they only care about public reviews, and not really the customer experience. UPDATE: Well, you guessed it, within an hour of my PUBLIC review there was a message on my phone from the Glenn at Kitchener Ford. Within 3 hours there was a response here from the General Manager (who was one of those copied on email)... "slipped through the crack" he says. How it "slipped through the crack" of three people I am not quite sure, but it seems that a PUBLIC review is the same as "crack" filler. Optics I guess.

Thought it was still leaking but just oil still dripping from skid plates and other item that were leaked on. Also left oily/greasy hand prints on hood and fenders. I had an issue happen we I was out shopping. When I returned to my vehicle I thought my car had been broken into ; As i approached my vehicle I seen all my windows were down. I know I locked my vehicle and the windows were up tight. So I didn't know why I was the target of a break in. I took my car into KITCHENER FORD to see if they knew how someone could get in my car. The young professional man Alberto listened. And then he said I think I can show you what happened. I said you can? So he preceeded to show me what happened to make all window go down completely and at the same time. Which I was surprised they did retract together. So I am so thankful for his reassurance for me that it was as total accident on my part. He set me at ease about thinking it was a break-in to my car. I was so eased with Alberto's help. I asked if I could book an appointment to switch my winter tires to summer tires. I was being booked in for the next day along with an oil change. I am very pleased with the help I recieved from Alberto.

I went to this dealership to see an F-150. When I got there the truck wasn't ready and the salesperson seemed to not even know that I was coming... even though we spoke on the phone personally. The front of the vehicle was covered in bug guts and the inside literally had mud and sticks on the dashboard. I'm surprised this vehicle wasn't the right off. When I explained to the salesperson that I was looking for a vehicle that might have been on the lower end of the price spectrum he went inside and found another sales guy and told him that I was looking for a vehicle if he was able to help me. If you're going to Kitchener Ford you should probably talk to someone other than Doug. Unless you're buying a platinum F-150, he probably isn't interested in talking to you.

This was my first time coming to Kitchener Ford after purchasing a 2017 Ford Escape from an out of market dealership (traded in an old jeep), about a year earlier. I searched for Ford dealers and Kitchener Ford was 18 in all of Ontario and needless to say 1 in Waterloo region on Dealer Rater. And I can fully understand why. Staff were friendly and knowledgable. My service advisor Al, who was a little busy at the time, after all, I'm not the only one dropping off a car at 8am, was not rushed with me, took his time, explained all the recommended services etc. and of course very friendly and knowledgeable. Service was completed on time and price was definitely reasonable. Very pleased and will definitely be coming for future service.

I have always received good service at Kitchener Ford. My car developed a friction noise coming from the rear wheel. It turned out one of the wheel bearings needed to be replaced. I called on a Tuesday to make an appointment, they were able to get my car in the same week and fix the problem. It was also discovered that the steering alignment was out. I was able to bring the car in the very next week to have that corrected. I purchased the car new from Kitchener Ford and have had all servicing done here. If I could put negative stars I would. This place runs their "business" as a highway robbery where they do work on the vehicle before informing the customer of the cost and then extort to get the vehicle back. I had my vehicle brought in on a recall notice and was charged 158 dollars without my consent or knowledge to which I was then told I had to pay before I got my vehicle back. The "work" done was telling me what I told them when I called them, no work was done on the car itself, they charged to look at a light and a broken door handle without informing me there would be such an outrageous cost. When I spoke with the advisor Darren he was belittling and dismissive. If you need to take your Ford in to an actual dealership go to Parkdale in waterloo. I spoke with them after this incident and even though it wasn't there mistake or maltreatment they were apologetic for what I was put through assuring me that is not how they do business. I do not use the word never often, but I will NEVER deal with this location again.

Recently, I upgraded my Ford Focus to the newest model and I was helped by salesperson, John Morrissey, who has helped other members of my family in the past. He went above and beyond what you would expect any salesperson to do. He showed me every function of the car, in and out, and spent a good amount of time answering all of my questions. When I drove away, I had full confidence in how to use every function in my car. He even programmed my favourite radio stations and set up my cell phone on sync. Things like how to use the lights, move the seats, fill the windshield washer fluid, put the back seats down, use the heat and wipers are all things I didn’t have to worry about figuring out on the spot, while in the middle of a snowstorm, because John ensured I was well-informed before I left. He even sent a follow-up email to ensure I was satisfied or had any questions left unanswered. My family and I have been going to Kitchener Ford for 30+ years and we recommend their service and professionalism to anyone looking for a solid, dependable car. I love my Ford Focus!

I wish there was a 0 star option. Please save the hassle and look elsewhere for your new or used vehicle, too much of a hassle here. I purchased 3 vehicles from Kitchener Ford with maintenance Packages, but it’s impossible to get your vehicle serviced, I use my transit for work and can not predict my work load day to day, so it’s important to be able to get service. Kitchener Ford continuously makes me an appointment then calls me back to let me know they can’t service my vehicle at the promised appointment time because they need a special tech to service my 3.5 liter engine (same engine in the explorer). Save yourself the hassle and go to Jiffy Lube..... in and out in 15 minutes and no hassle!!

Over the past six months, my wife and I had visited dealerships of every stripe which carried an SUV in their product line. When I say every, I mean every one that we could research, look at and test drive. As I had never previously owned a Ford product in my 50 years of car ownership, Ford was the last dealer we visited. Ironically, Kitchener Ford was very close to home. The Ford Escape was the line that we wanted to investigate. We didn't know what to expect, but were more than pleasantly surprised by all people that we dealt with at Kitchener Ford. Our first contact, Andrew Thibaudeau was very engaging, knew the product and was very helpful in explaining and narrowing down the desired components and putting together a priced package. Took us for a test drive and treated us like his only customer - which might have been true at the time - but he made us feel good about Ford. Took a breather to take a last look at one other competitor and returned to Ford for another test drive. It was Andrew's day off so Cam obliged and took us out for a spin. Again we were appreciative of his candour in explaining little details about the vehicle to us. Came back a few days later to ask a few more questions of Andrew and finally bought the Escape. Andrew then passed us on to Pat Thompson to go over warranty options. Pat explained the warranties in detail and answered any questions we had and in fact answered more questions in subsequent follow-up visits. In summary, all three people that we dealt with had superb people skills, were knowledgeable about the product, were very accommodating and are a feather in the cap of Kitchener Ford.

Hello my name is Carlos Lopes owner of 2016 Ford F-150 Lariat I Just wanted to reach out and explain on my last ford service experience. My 2016 Ford F-150 that I purchased from Kitchener Ford I believe last February ( not even a year ) was in about 5 times to have the Backup Camera issue resolved and yet there is no fix on it as we speak. The service staff there at Kitchener are really nice people, but I find the service lacking!. I work in Kitchener and it’s quite Convenient to take my vehicle to this dealership for service, But with my recent experience I think I will just deal with either Waterloo or Cambridge. I work for a Large Equipment Rental Company that has quite a large Ford Vehicle Fleet and have be happy with my last two Ford Trucks. Just an Fyi, I haven’t mentioned this to the Kitchener Ford Dealership because I didn’t think it was a big deal at the time as I really like my Ford Lariat, But when I purchased this Vehicle and signed off on the Purchase documents it was stated this Vehicle had a clean bill of Health. I went to renew my plate sticker last July and found out this Truck was in a Accident. Again this was not mentioned to me at the time of sale, Very disappointed and most likely be my last Ford Truck Purchase. Regards

First time going to this dealership and it is COVID time but I showed up at 5:50pm and closing is at 6pm but no one was there. The service area was locked up. I called reception and she put me through to the show room. I spoke with a guy there and he said to come to the show room and abruptly hung up. Just left a bad impression. They also tell me it’s a known issue. Put in a better chain. Won’t happen again. Well guess what it happened again only 60000km. No warranty no nothing. 2 days to fix it again very good job. The problem is the money!!! So every 2 years I will have to pay to fix it???

The service advisor said they would have to order the part. A week later I got a phone call saying they had ordered the part. I finally got word that the part was in, so I went and had it replaced which took about ten minutes. No apologies for damaging it in the first place, no apology for the inconvenience. Matthew was my salesman and he was awesome. When I changed my mind half a dozen times, he rolled with it and found me what I was looking for. Delivery took a bit longer than I feel it should have, but the truck did arrive. Upon pickup, my truck was not “delivery ready” and I was really upset to say the least. Candy provided excellent service, but I have had on-going problems with the transmission, which has been deemed unfixable since 2012. My car has been breaking down since Aug 31, 2020 and they diagnosed it on Oct 5 after I spent $430.00 out of pocket. I picked up my car on Fri Oct 9 & it stalled Oct 10 and the engine light came on again today, Oct 12. I was told by Ford that I would not be out of pocket due to the transmission problem and I am $430.00 out of pocket plus hours of my time off work. Ford asked me to not join the class action lawsuit back in 2015 & they would fix my transmission issue for the life of my vehicle. It too the Mgr Darren 4 days to respond to me, stating he would not reimburse me for the diagnostic test I was charged for. Ford Canada has failed miserably in quality and customer service. I feel unsafe driving my car.

Worst customer service ever. Bought a new Latiat that was supposed to come with a tailgate step and it was a selling feature for myself. I was promised the situation would be fixed within 2 weeks. Very disappointed in the level of service that I received from Ford in Kitchener. I recently bought my vehicle last October. I decided to purchase from Ford due to the great experience I had with my last Ford vehicle. Between March and May of this year, I went to the Ford dealership 3 times as I heard a rattle coming from the back end of my vehicle on the passenger side. Every time I went to express my concern, I was told that there was no issue and that the vehicle was fine, apparently road tests were even completed. I continued to hear the rattle when I drove my vehicle and knew something was wrong (I'm no mechanic though). I decided to go to a different place in town (a local mechanic shop). Within 10 minutes of my visit, a mechanic was able to confirm my concerns and figured out what was causing the rattling in my car. Now I have a significant fix that needs to be done on my car and of course my warranty is up, which could have been caught sooner if Ford would have taken the time and energy to look to see what was wrong in the first place. This experience will definitely make me question whether I return to receive service from the dealership in the future. Sincerely not impressed and overly frustrated customer.

However,because I did not drive the vehicle before I bought it,I did not realize that Ford 300A package does not have power seats.That I guess it escaped my attention when vievig original price sticker.Sels rep didn't reinforced that either (probably took it for granted that I knew it).This should be a mandatory feature of any Ford package (instead of rear view camera - which is annoying).

Al in the service dept was excellent he deserves 5 stars as for the sales dept they are less than helpful my rotars were all rust since I got the vehicle wich caused my brake pads to go and that is considered a safety I pointed it out and was told to drive it and that would take care of the rust so now had to spend 2000.00$ but ya it was a proper saftey whatever! Business should be conducted with honesty and integrity .

Stopped in last night with a nail in my tire. Now my tires and truck are still under warranty. However I bought the truck at another dealership. Let me just say. They treated me like I bought from them very professional got me in right away. Even though they could not process the warranty they fixed me up quick as can be and my Ford dealer in Woodstock took care of the warranty. I love my F250 and I recommend this dealership as well as Woodstock Ford and Expressway ford. They all treat you like you bought from them. Ford is the way to go. I recently had an airbag replacement due to a recall. While on the phone making the appointment I asked if there was anything new I needed to do due to COVID-19. I was told no just to bring the car as usual. When arriving at 8 am for my scheduled appointment a young employee was zipping through the parking lot and almost took out my car. I then went to give the shop my keys as instructed. Michael Dahmer, one of their service advisors immediately began yelling at me that I cannot come close to him. At this point I was a good 20 feet away still. I explained i was there for an appointment and just needed to know where to bring my keys. I also let him know about the employee that almost hit my car while entering the parking lot. He brushed it off and said "it happens" After all was said and done they called to let me know a small part of my wood trim cracked. They didn't even try to unscrew the trim, you can clearly see the trim was pried off. I know because they left the broken trim in my car. I was told this is a common thing and happens almost all the time. If so, why was a new piece not ordered ahead of time? I had to come in the next day where I was told it would be 10 minutes tops to fix. Made an appointment to come in for 4:30 pm. When I arrived I stood around for 10 minutes while employees in the shop stared but did not acknowledge a customer was there. Finally they took my car where it sat for another 10 minutes. Keep in mind they close at 5 and I was told this would be done easily so I could go about my business. Finally got my car just before they closed. Asked why the new trim was brown when the rest of my cars wood trim was red/mahogany. They would not give me an answer. I now have an ABS recall and you can bet your bottom dollar I won't be going to this establishment again for the recall or any other future repairs. I've also spoken with several autobody mechanics who said that the piece should not have had the extensive damage it had if they had just used the proper tools. Makes me wonder if their maintenance crew knows what they are doing or not. EDIT TO RESPOND TO "OWNER" I was never contacted for a resolution and in fact emailed and called several times after this response and again was ignored. I now called today May 3, 2021 to be told by the New service advisor that the previous service advisor and a few others had been fired recently for ignoring customers and making big mistakes. So why am I now being hung up on by your current employees who admit to the previous mistakes made by now ex-employees. I've now sent a final email to your customer service. I do hope we can rectify this. However it's been 10 months and I'm still being ignored and hung up on.

I originally went in for a service engine light. Was told that it was an internal coolant leak. Too make a long story short 3 months later I had my car back. I went in and talked to the service manager part way through about concerns I had and walked out feeling belittled because I was a female. The car rental company was a nightmare to say the least. The only person I can say that was awesome was Hedo. He was always very patient with me. I'm not sure I would ever buy a car from there again

I Went into the dealer ship with a 2018 F-150 XLT and wanted to trade it for Lariat. I asked for pricing and to see the truck that I would like which I liked it to be black. I was shown a Black 2019 F-150 Lariat with retractable mirrors and the interior of the truck had two color. This truck was 6.5 box, I wanted 5.5 box. so I was given a price on what I just saw and sat in but in 5.5 box since they did not have it. after I sign the papers and agreed to the terms and conditions, I was told that the truck I was getting was Metallic Lariat. when I got the truck it did not have the retractable mirrors and only had one color for interior, black. I left the truck for them to tint my front windows and was told I was getting a for Edge as a rental. the rental car show up half an hour late and it was Toyota Corolla, I had my daughter with me and we had to be somewhere otherwise I would have not took that rental, If I was a Toyota fan then I would have purchased a Tundra. I just bought a $71,000 truck from this dealer ship and was given a corolla as rental. it is because of service like this that Ford is losing their customs!!! My overall experience with Kitchener Ford was a waist of my time and money, I felt like I was treated as a number. I did not see any service for the size of dealership and inventory that Kitchener Ford claims to have. if you want a dealership that appreciates your business then go to Ridge Hill Ford in Cambridge. I am going to write an email to Ford Canada with the experience that I have had with Kitchener Ford dealership. I suggest you look at any of the other dealerships around Kitchener before making a decision with Kitchener Ford.

Best body shop in town! I brought in my 2011 Ford Escape because there was some rust developing above the rear wheels. I was greeted by James Dostall who was friendly, positive, and very professional when it came down to business. He told me a few options on how to deal with the rust and which option was the most optimal. I took his advice and I couldn't be happier. Not only was the work on my car done professionally, the amount of care James and his team provided me, was over the top. The work itself, looks incredible and they did a great job matching the paint (as the paint on my vehicle has faded). James made sure to call me mid week and update me on the car status, estimated time of pick up and to ask if I had any additional questions. He made himself very easy to connect with through out the whole process and accommodated me when I had to switch my appointment time.
