I had an excellent experience with Drew in the Pre-Owned vehicle department at Gemini Motors. He was never pushy with selling the vehicles and gave my boyfriend and I space/time to discuss alone. After I had purchased the vehicle I had noticed that one of the head rests in the back seat was missing and I contacted Drew immediately. Within that same week he had ordered a new one in for me at no charge without hesitation. When I went to pick it up he even took the time to install it into the car for me and made sure that the one he ordered matched the interior of the vehicle. I would highly recommend seeing Drew, he was the most genuine sales rep I've ever come across in this industry. I'm loving my Subaru Forester thank you Drew!!!

Bought my first Subaru here after being a Honda owner for the past 12 years. I love my Subaru however I do not love this place, especially the service department. I have my own reliable, honest, trustworthy and very reasonably priced mechanic I use for all my vehicles therefore do not use the Subaru service department. I keep on top of all services needed and keep proper records. The last time my vehicle was in my mechanic noticed there was some leakage underneath and told me I should bring it in to the dealership to get them to check it out since it would be under warranty. Fair enough. Upon looking quickly at my vehicle, Subaru Service dept told me there was nothing wrong and handed me an invoice - an invoice to check something that was under warranty. ??? I was shocked. Never once has this happened with any other dealership I've used. Finally the service manager said "Well, we see you don't get your vehicle serviced here" - (hello! not a requirement). When I replied, "It sounds like you're telling me I have to have my car serviced here?" he told me I was putting words in his mouth. They would not give me my keys back (keep in mind this invoice was only $42.00) until I paid the invoice . Imagine fighting with a customer who bought a brand new Subaru from them a year ago. The dealership manager sided with the service manager and told me in a very condescending manner; " I guess you can thank your mechanic for the $42.00 invoice" ! really? I guess I will drive to Guelph or Stratford it in the future should I ever need to deal with Subaru again. HORRIBLE.

The sales staff were very knowledgeable but unwilling to price match. Service staff have been very friendly and helpful until an issue arose which they refused to cover under warranty. Just as there was a lack of flexibility on car price, there has been total inflexibility regarding the premature failure of the clutch on my 2017 Outback. Previous complaints about the burning smell emitted by the clutch when in rush hour traffic prior to 20000 km were basically dismissed. Now my car is less than 18 months old and the clutch has totally failed. There is no willingness on the part of the dealership to cover any of the repair costs. I'm very disappointed by this lack of customer service and the quality of the manual transmission on the 2017 Outback. Is this the reason the 6 speed manual transmission is no longer an option on the Outback? Given my experience, I can only conclude that neither Subaru Canada nor Gemini Motors value my business.

Huge disappointment. I went to look at Subarus with my boyfriend as I'm looking to purchase one in the near future and left with a bad taste in my mouth. One of the representatives went out of his way to walk past me (in the driver's seat, no less) and ask my boyfriend if HE had any questions or needed any help. It was like I was invisible the entire time. I'll be buying my Subaru from a more female-friendly dealership.

I bought a Legacy wagon from Gemini in 2005. For the first four years, while everything was under warranty, everything was fine. After this four-year period, every service visit to Gemini seemed to be a contest of which mechanic could find more things wrong with my car, so that the 'friendly' service receptionist could relay to me an ever increasing bill to fix my problems. Finally, in 2013, after spending over $3000 (that year) on various repairs, and with the encouragement of the aforementioned receptionist, I ignored a 'service engine' light, and on a return trip from Montreal, my engine basically blew up. By the end of that year, with over $7000 spent, I finally began taking my car to an honest mechanic (Marc at Autologix), and since this time it has been revealed to me that all of the work I paid a premium for at Gemini was shoddy, hastily done, and temporary.

Gemini Motors proved to me this week that they have zero integrity. Last week I went into for my 2 year check up. Everything seemed to go smoothly until I realized a few days later that my tailgate door had been damaged. The bumper and glass were absolutely fine, but the panel was dented in. Everyone I've talked to agrees that this was not caused by another car, since the point of contact is a foot above the bumper and relatively small. I gave Gemini Motors the benefit of the doubt that maybe one of their mechanics just tried to cover it up. I asked management to review their security footage to see if the car was damaged during the service. They said they couldn't see anything, so I asked, "Are you able to see if the footage if it was already damaged?" They replied, "We could not see any damage at the time of inspection when they vehicle was here." Which suggests to me they couldn't be bothered to review the security footage, since if you were watching the footage, you'd probably take note of whether or not it's damaged. Even if by some miracle Gemini wasn't responsible for the damage, their uncompsentionate and sketchy response demonstrates their poor values. If you still go to Gemini, demand before/after vehicle walkarounds. Don't be their next victim.

Went in for my 50k maintenance includes an oil change. Got my car back and found out my drain plug area was leaking oil. Told subaru about it, they made the repairs and still charge me after they damanged my oil pan. Will never return here. Wheres the accoutablity? Ive been doing my own oil changes from varies of vehicles and ive never damanged an oil pan nor have a car leak oil. Thanks gemini subaru Update: left a voice msg with the owner, Larry. He returned my call and we had a conversation about the experience i had. Very nice and professional Larry was to me. Thanks. Great customer service

Bought a new 2016 Forester and we are exceptionally happy with it, I took my mother back into Gemini Motors and the sales manager was HORRIBLE. Tried relentlessly to push my mother into buying their Demo car. Told us that the only 2 cars available were the Demo and white model that they had on lot. Nothing else was available in Ontario, this was total Lie. I can say I am absolutely discussed at this place. DO NOT BUY FROM KITCHENER SUBARU.

My wife, 1 year old daughter, and I about 2 weeks ago test drove a 2015 Platinum Nissan Murano there and really wanted/liked it. We planned on doing a trade-in and proceeding forward with obtaining their vehicle. The salesman brought us all in his office as we talked about it, crunched numbers, and tried to figure things out. Spent about an hour there while our baby was getting fed up and as were we too with uncomfortable masks on... From there we had to wait as apparently no one at Subaru could appraise a trade-in, so he was to get back to us via email or phone when someone could. We haven't heard a thing since then! Why bother test driving your vehicle for sale and discussing it further..? So we gave up hope with them and several days ago bought a 2016 Platinum Murano with less KM's than theirs and a year newer, for a cheaper price... I guess all things work out in the end, but still - wouldn't recommend this Subaru dealership to anyone.

Great quality of cars knowledgable staff very friendly and most importantly prices that don't break the bank. My wife and I where shopping for a while we knew we wanted a Subaru but didn't think we could shop at the big dealer. After a few failed attempts at buying form the smaller dealers we found ourselves at Gemini and boy where we mistaken. Gemini had better vehicles way better service and way way better pricing. I've come here a few times and overall the people have been kind and friendly. For an earlier repair, they had everything about my car on file and a shuttle to take me to work. The repair was done quickly and I was pleased with service. On a more recent repair, which I booked online, I never received any confirmation from the dealership. I then called and was told they had no record of my repair request. I made another appointment by phone and requested a shuttle service. On the day of my appointment, I was very disappointed to see that they were not expecting me and did not have a shuttle available for me. They were able to find the necessary parts and make the repair the same day but I was left scrambling last minute to find alternative transportation. I hope they can improve the service appointment process as it did not work for me last time.

I, like many others who have reviewed on here, had a great experience buying my car. The sales team was great and very helpful with this massive purchase (>$30 000). However, the service department is a joke. I paid more than $600 for rust proofing that was supposed to last the life of the vehicle. Less than 1 year after purchasing the car, there were rust spots on the doors and the rear bumper. I brought these to the attention of Gemini Motors and they, as a "courtesy", painted over the spots with touch up paint and called it a day. Well of course within a month the spots were back. When I took the car in for the yearly rust proofing inspection and again pointed out the same spots that had been there the year before that they touched up, I was told they would look into it for me and see about getting the spots fixed. That was June of this year. Yesterday, on December 5th, I FINALLY got a response from someone and only after calling them myself over the span of the last 6 months. I NEVER ONCE got a phone call back when I was told I would to give me an update. And after all that, I'm being told that nothing will be done to help me. Absolutely horrendous communication and service. I will not be returning and highly recommend that you take your money elsewhere.

I brought our car in for an oil change this week and had to bring my toddlers with me. I had planned on taking them for a walk but it was pouring rain so I was stuck with two grumpy babies in the service lobby. Everyone at Subaru was WONDERFUL! They ran out to hold the doors as I came in with my stroller, every staff member who came by stopped to chat with me and the girls, they finished the car super quickly and then parked it as close to the door as humanly possible so I wouldn't have to go to far in the rain. I couldn't have had a more positive experience!!!

Great service. I ordered a "special order" part as per my vehicles requirements and upon the service center attempting to perform the work, they quickly discovered that the parts package was inadequate and wasn't going to allow them to complete the task at hand. Not only did they keep the communications line open with me the customer, they offered to not only pay for a rental vehicle for me while they waited on parts but provided those extra parts and they're accompanying labour free of charge. In the end, they ended up paying more for my service work than I did. Pretty impressive. Id recommend them anytime. Especially Emily (the service manager). She's a sweetheart who seems to genuinely care about her work keeping customers happy, even on their dime. Definitely satisfied.

Unfortunately after 10 years of regularly servicing my vehicles at Gemini, I will no longer return. Gemini damaged my vehicle dash when replacing an airbag. It was reported immediately onsite however the dealership did all they could to avoid the repair. An oil change would be a little more expensive at the dealer, but they did fluid top ups, checked the differential fluids which are improbable to get to without a lift, and did a hand car wash. For the price, and the addition of the documentation, I've been very comfortable with this. I had been going to the Mississauga dealership for regular maintenance due to regular trips to Toronto. However, after they damaged a piston seal on a brake caliper doing the very expensive "inspect brakes" maintenance, I decided to try Gemini. Emily is the happiest and most helpful service coordinator who shows a great interest in her customers, is very engaging, and generally concerned. I thought I had a major bearing issue, she was able to get me in quickly, test it, and ended up being a simple rebalancing. She stressed to let them know if I had any issues at all. She went out of her way to squeeze an oil change in just after major snow storm and power outages so that I wouldn't have to have one done on the road during a 3500 relocation drive. Their service side is great.

A great experience at this location. My partner and I came here to test drive a vehicle and it was a smooth, stress-free process. The staff that greeted us when we entered were friendly, professional, and earnestly made efforts to quickly find the sales rep that we'd booked with, communicating with us along the way. Pete was the rep who helped us with the vehicle itself, and he was extremely professional, helpful, and felt genuinely invested in our search. He was polite and respectful of our time, courteously cleaned off the car while we got comfortable and familiarized ourselves with the car, and warmly offered navigation assistance in the event that we weren't familiar with the area. When we returned, Pete invited us into his office and discussed details about the vehicle and buying options - he explored options with us to find what best suits our situation, shared important information from the history of the vehicle that he had looked up while we were out on the test drive, and was positive and upbeat the whole time! We felt comfortable with him, and that he was honest and open with us, which put us at ease. We made a trip from out of town to purchase a new Forester as this dealership came highly recommended by a family member who used to live in the area. It was certainly worth the drive! We ended up arriving really late, about 10mins before the dealership locked up due to some traffic we hit along the way. Not once were we made to feel rushed by any of the four different staff members who patiently took time after hours to help us out and educate us on all the great technology that’s packed into these vehicles. As we entered the showroom my wife and I and our 3yr old son were made to feel very comfortable in this socially awkward time of Covid-19. We were greeted with complimentary hand sanitizer, face masks, and water as they recognized we must have not stopped for a break to make it on time. All in all, I would highly recommend this dealership. Jeff managed to remove all the stress with a new vehicle purchase and leave us only with the excitement. Coleen was a pleasure to deal with and Rebeca made learning quite entertaining.

Expect to book 2-3 weeks in the future, to wait excessively for oil change or tire swap, not to have their shuttle available, not be notified at all when your car is ready. If you have a fleet vehicle expect to give your VIN every time you book an appointment, their system doesn’t store fleet customer’s names.

Aweful service. I went for a general inspection and flat tire on Wednesday. They said they have to order the tires and that I need to come back Thursday. They would call me to book an appointment when they get the tires. I said sure no problem. Got a call on Wednesday afternoon, they said I can come Thursday at 2pm for tire replacement. I get there Thursday at 2pm waited until 4pm and a guy came out to tell me that they don't have my tires, they didn't receive it for the day AND that I would still have to wait because they removed all my current tires. I was told to come back Friday morning at 10am and I should be out by 12pm, and they promised me that they will have my tires. I get in on Friday at 10am, and now they say that I have to wait until at least 2pm????? Never going back. Do not recommend. Better driving to a other Subaru dealer.

I guessed we did get a so-so price after a brief negotiation. However, salesperson did not seem to be interested in earning our business. Long overdue review. From the start, the sales team in the Previously owned offices were super friendly and not overbearing. I test drove a vehicle that I really liked and knew it was not an easy type of vehicle to find. (Let me point out it was not a Subaru). It had a problem with it and I pointed it out to the team. I was committed to the vehicle and the issues needed to be fixed. These guys were great. They ran their tests and did some adjustments. After another test run, I noted that there was still an issue and they really went to bat and took care of it. I did continue to have some issues but Tim and his team were outstanding and really did their best to assist in getting to the bottom of the problems. It took some time and patience, and involving the actual manufacturer, but the job got done. I love my car. Although my car happened to be a problematic one, Tim and his team were nothing more than supportive and true to their word. They stood by me through every step and phone call and made it right. THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Price in Brampton dealership was 2000$ less for the same configuration comparing with Gemini. I went to Gemini dealership and asked if they can match price - answer was "no" and they asked me why I don't like to support local community??? If they would ask me to donate let's say 1000 and they would match another 1000 to any of community institutions it would make sense but they just wanted to put additional 2000 into their pocket... I bought car in Brampton. Service. I had to replace CVT fluid and differential oil and asked for quotation (Emily Sinichko as I remember provided quote). Price was over 500 dollars while Stratford gave around 300 and Brampton even less. I had to go to Brampton in spite of losing additional 2 hours for driving. And would like to mention that service coordinator was not very polite and there are other young service clerks that I would wish understand more about Subaru cars... I had to switch to another car service company. Subaru Canada. I like Subaru - it's excellent car. I think you need to consider opening one more dealership in growing fast KW - Cambridge Guelph district. As far as I know many people are willing to buy one of Subaru's cars but because of not adequate services they are hesitating. So more options for dealership selection - better for everybody.

This review is based on our most recent service experience and NOT on the purchase of our 2017 Subaru Outback. We’ve had condensation forming on the inside of our front right headlight assembly for some time now. Scheduling, timing and life seemed to work against each other when trying to get the headlight looked at. Besides it wasn’t THAT bad. Well another winter in and it’s much worse. We finally got in last week and find out that headlights AREN’T covered under warranty. Go figure! We’re under 3 years but over our km’s by 12,000 and that’s the kicker. Sorry, no luck. $1400 to replace .....not happy!

I recently visited this location looking to test drive the Forrester as it is very high on my list of cars that I would like to replace my vehicle with. My fiance and I went in and were ignored for about 10 min by all sales staff. When a salesman did come over our experience only became worse. When I told him I would like to test the Forrester his response was, "you know these are expensive vehicles, right? " He then asked which model I was looking and and I told him I was looking to start with their highest end model and go from there. His response was again to tell me they are expensive vehicles and question if I had looked into the vehicles. He then told me he wasn't sure if he had one available to let me drive and then gave me their low end courtesy vehicle to drive. Despite there being multiple Forresters outside this was the only one he would have me drive. I was finally able to drive the model I wanted to after coming back and again telling him all of the features I was looking for. After he finally let me drive the one I wanted to and I asked about cost he immediately turned and only spoke to my fiance about cost and financing. All questions I asked were answered to my finance instead of me. The only time he showed me any interest was when I said I was looking to pay cash. Loved the car but if I decide to buy it, it will not be at this location. This experience has even decreased the chance I will go out of my way to give another location a chance.

DON'T GO THERE! The staff here is extremely rude and unhelpful. We lost our lug nut key and just wanted to get the lug nuts off (which only takes 3 seconds with the key they have in store). But not only did they charge $65 for just screwing those things off, they also made us wait hours for this simple change. In Toyota you can get it done immediately and for free. For future if you are thinking about buying a car, don't choose Subaru because customer service is just painful in this town.

I’m 22, went to this dealership to purchase a 2018 wrx. After 10-15 mins walking around a salesman approached me and told me “this is a expensive car”. For whatever reason he judged me because I’m a young adult. He didnt want to haggle a price, after telling him I went to a few other Subaru dealerships. This wasn’t my first wrx or 2nd or 3rd Subaru. I went to Subaru of London, got a cheaper price and BOUGHT the exact car I was looking at - FROM KITCHENER. Their car salesman definitely need better customer service. It felt like I walked into ikea to buy a fridge. “This is the price and that’s it.” There was no haggling. If you’re reading this, I highly recommend to go elsewhere. From one Subaru owner to another. Take the time and go elsewhere.

I haven't bought a car here not serviced my car here but the first time I stopped by the Service Department, they were super helpful. The second time I came back, they were still super friendly and helpful. I appreciate that they greeted me across the plexiglass the moment I walked through the door. I guess I'll be coming here for servicing my car in the future. The sales department seems a little more detached. Maybe I did not look like a potential buyer even though I was considering upgrading to a bigger Subaru. I was looking at the cars in the showroom and no one seemed interested in chatting with me. Maybe it's got something to do with how I was dressed: very casual.

Horrible customer service from the service department, starting from the first phone call to make an appointment. My subaru is a 2015 and I bought it two months ago from a different dealership. The dealership who sold me the car, made a call to Gemini Motors to see if my air conditioner is covered under a warranty. We were advised it was. I called to setup a time and it took over 1/2 hour to schedule an appointment . I was told it was a recharge of the mechanics and when I dropped it off they advised it was a recall. I had to leave it overnight and the entire next day. First call I received from them, I was told there was nothing wrong with it. I said, yes there is and that it stops working after 15 mins. Second call I received, said it needs an air compressor and a new belt. This would cost over $1000 to fix and I would have to pay a diagnostic fee. I said it was suppose to be covered by warranty. The receptionist was named Emily and she was rude and said she would not release my vehicle until I paid them. This is just a few of the many things that went wrong. So much confusion with the receptionists. They need better training, computer training and customer service. You can't find someone in the computer who has never been there before. Thankfully, my dealership called to deal with this mess. Gemini did not provide me with any paperwork. I will not be retuning.

I was driving on the highway with my wife and two small children when the car developed a strange sound - similar to road noise, but that cut out when brake pressure was applied. We were close to a Subaru dealership, so I called and spoke with Sean, who said he could take a look. When we arrived, Sean took a test drive with me, and thought the problem was the wheel bearings, but rather than send me on my way, he wanted to double check and put the car in the air. Once this happened, he discovered that the wheel nuts were so loose, they could be turned by hand. I am so grateful to Sean and to genesis for taking the time to investigate and fix the problem. We could have lost a wheel at speed on the highway... and instead, we are all safe. If this is how they treat walk-ins (drive-ins?), I can only imagine that their regular customers are in incredible hands.

If I could give a negative number I would. WORST experience of my life hands down. Safe yourself misery and don't shop at Gemini or buy a Subaru PERIOD!!!!! 2015 wrx purchased brand new. Treated very poorly when purchasing until deposit amount came up. -Stereo head unit kept overheating and shutting down - replaced, now my dash rattles. -Bluetooth speaker was cutting in and out - replaced, now it can't be used unless pressure applied to it. -Blown motor - 10 week motor repair with multiple failures instead of motor replacement, not offered a rental until week 4 with zero help from anyone including subaru customer care. Scratches all over front end, rattling front end, smells like burning when driven. Asked about buy out at initial hearing of blown motor and was offered 25k for it, then not even 4 months later and less than 1000km was offered only 21k. -less than 1000km after motor rebuild and ample testing the intake blew off (only issue spoke of by Gemini) leaving it stranded on side of highway, waiting 4 hours for tow truck back to Kitchener. - automatic start wouldn't work after rebuild as the hood switch was bent down, simple fix was to just simply bending it back! -less than 2000km after rebuild engine light came on, flashing sport mode and car can't seem to figure out what it wants to do, had another mechanic check the code and 3 codes came up- engine knock, can shaft placement, engine stall. Gemini could only "see" the engine stall code which is remedied by a computer update, but no answer for the 2 missing codes. Left with an absolute LEMON with no reliability, no responsibility by Gemini or Subaru and no one wanting to resolve the issue or even help resolve it. Absolute worst purchase and experience of my life! I hope this deters people from dealing with subaru as a whole!

Great experience buying the car. Once they had my money, however, it went downhill. Quickly. They scratched the hood of my car while washing it, twice. The second time 'don't wash' was on the work order & highlighted in yellow. They refused to correct the issue. The power window was/is sporadically not working, they didn't review the issue at all. Most recently, with the airbag recall, they are refusing to acknowledge any concerns I have, and are no longer communicating with me. I can't state how strongly I would not recommend this dealer. For the life of me, I don't understand why they don't want repeat business; but given their conduct, obviously they're not going to get a penny from me moving forward. Update: after weeks of one way communication & Gemini refusing to answer my emails, I submitted a BBB complaint. They don't answer the BBB either. So, if you want to buy a car and NEVER have contact with Gemini again, so ahead...

Terrible service!! I find the ladies unwelcoming. Had an appointment to switch my winter tires at 1:30pm. Told it was going to be an hour so decided to wait there since they were not offering shuttle service. Almost 2 hours later I had to ask how long it was going to be and she told me another hour because the tires were not on rims. (other dealerships can get this done in an hour) When I left after 2.5 hours of waiting, I noticed my car still hadn't even gone in the shop yet! 5 hours later the car was ready and had no solution to my broken radio. They also don't keep my name on file as its a fleet vehicle which I find unwelcoming and never have had an experience like this. Will be going to Guelph dealership for next service in hopes for better experience!

Not a good dealership. Recently I was waiting in customer service area while my car was being serviced. A big fellow working in customer service was answering the phone. After he hung up with nearly every customer he started cutting them up with his coworkers. It was very unprofessional I could totally hear what he was saying. My boyfriend took his car to this dealership for an inspection a few weeks ago. After the inspection his car has broken down twice on the road. The first time he managed to recover the car by himself but the second time we had to call a tow truck on our way to mississauga which cost us a fortune and the car stopped running in the middle of the road which was extremely dangerous for our safety. He called the dealership and we are hoping to get a refund due to their incapability but they just saying that our car breaking down has nothing to do with the inspection and they will not issue the refund. Anyone with common sense can tell the inspection messed up our car as our car has never broken down before and we just bought it over a year ago. The break down only happened shortly after the inspection so you are telling me it has nothing to do with it? I’m not 12. Overall, very disappointed and do not recommend anyone going there .

The worst treatment I ever had at a car dealership. I went in about a year ago. The salesman had to be called over to help me and from the expression on his face I could immediately tell he'd rather be doing something else. I was very impressed with the Forester and it was available at the same price as the Hyundai Santa Fe and Kia Sorento I was also looking at, so I expected monthly financing rates to be the same. Not at all. Subaru does not do more than 60 month financing so the monthly cost was much higher for the same purchase price. When I told the salesperson the rates I was seeing elsewhere and wondering if he could match them, he said "THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!" On the way out he accused me of stealing the keys to the demo - he couldn't find them on his desk where I left them. He rapped on my car window and said flatly "keys..." I will never go to this dealership ever again.

Terrible! Since buying our WRX at Gemini, we have only done oil changes there. We were a couple weeks late on our last oil change and some dash lights came on. It was booked in so we asked them to check why these lights are on. They proceeded to tell me the light was on because it was out of oil !!! Told them that we only get oil changes done at their shop and they said it burned that much oil since the last oil change! I couldn't believe what they were trying to tell me. 5 litres of oil burned between oil changes??? Also quoted $3000 for a brake job. No thanks! I had it done for $500. Will not be taking my business here anymore. Especially after reading some of these reviews.

My service rep was extremely friendly. They looked into an additional issue for me and even swapped out my tires and washed my car for no charge! Extremely upset with the service I got at Gemini motors. I bought a used car from them and within 6 months of buying it had to spend around $5000 on mechanical issues. Driving out of the lot after I bought it the check engine light came on immediately. They fixed this issue but the check engine light came back on a few months later, I brought it in to get it checked and they said it was nothing and fine to drive on, then 2 days later my car essentially broke down on the highway because of their lack of attention to detail.

My wife and I traded in our '04 Forester to by a '16 Crosstrek, and did so because of the exemplary sales and service at Gemini Motors. Last week's visit was a good example. A rear tire was losing air and the problem was fixed for an add on price of ... $2. No labour, the valve stem also replaced. I was given touch of paint free of charge, despite my mistake of leaving a previous bottle in a car. I listened to Emily juggle an irate customer on the phone, repeatedly saying, "We will fix this," and reminding the customer of her name - twice! How to take ownership of a problem. I know to book a few days in advance, as they are usually booked solid. I usually run or shop the hour or so a service visit takes, so don't expect Jiffy or Quick 15' oil changes. But the cars are thoroughly inspected, and there are no unexpected surprises a week later of check lights going on. Lastly, our sales person Chris was great to deal with. His knowledge and passion for Subaru cars was super, without being pushy. We had a 45' walkthrough when we picked up the new Crosstrek, and gained confidence in the intricacies of new technology. Other staff, drivers and personnel have been friendly and helpful. Way to keep a dedicated customer, dedicated.

Bought my first car here in November. the sales person was great and everything went very smooth until i spoke with the finance manager. I stepped into her office and waited awkwardly for about 10 minutes while she was on her cellphone making a personal call. After she finally hung up the phone, she immediately started to strong arm me into financing instead of paying cash. I explained that i could afford it, so why would i pay unnecessary interest fees? Her responses were between: "because that's life" or "to build your credit score". During our meeting she then made other patronizing remarks about money such as "i thought your grandma gave you some inheritance or something". Im a 25 year old grown adult, granted i look young, but this was a very big day for me and that spoiled my mood a little. i feel that if i went in with my 60 year old father, i would have been treated a lot differently.

I approached Gemini Motors by email because of the pandemic, and because I'm really not a fan of playing the back-and-forth game. Craig responded to my email super quickly. He didn't play games and try to lure me into the dealership. He replied with the best price from the very start. (He even attached on-the-lot pictures of the vehicle I was interested in!) Horrible. Absolutely horrible. Poor customer service, zero accountability, dishonest management. Battery, clutch, breaks and starter each needed to be replaced on a new, one-owner car between 44,000 and 46,000 km. Only serviced at the dealer - all services completed to protect warranty (useless!), and I babied that car. Service staff and management said all of this was “regular wear and tear” ... then, blamed me for the clutch (I’ve been driving a standard for 20+ years - I DO NOT ride my clutch). They also do not respond to women - only men. Go somewhere else if you must buy a Subaru, or better yet, just buy a Honda.

I have nothing good to say about the customer service here. I love my Subaru I bought from Gemini but have a warranty issue that was put off by them for a month due to their busy schedule. When it came time to fix the part they stated I was not covered under warranty, when I booked the appointment I had ensured I shared my concern around my mileage was nearing 60 000km. Over the numerous phone calls, I was basically called a lier and informed that there is no possible way for me to have driven 10 000km in a month. I am a front line worker and laid it bluntly out for their service manager who still refused to believe me. This pandemic has taught us all a lot, I've learn that buying from Gemini was a mistake, I hope others do not make or at least that they learn to treat customers with respect and dignity. CONSIDER OTHER DEALERSHIPS FOR YOUR SUNARU!

Do you enjoy not having your car for a full week with little to no communication from service on what is wrong with your car and when it will be fixed? Do you like phoning the service department and not getting called back? Do you like taking a taxi because there are not shuttle or loaner cars available? Then this is the place for you! I advise you to pay to have your car towed to Mississauga. It will be less of a headache, be fixed sooner and be fixed properly. Won't be back because of your service department. I was a GMC man all the way (5) new GM vehicles over the years . Recently we decided to make a deal at the GM dealer with a trade in. The treatment we received from a specific GM sales associate was beyond rude and belittling. Good Bye GM.. literally around the corner we went! Gemini Motors Kitchener **************************** Sales service from Gemini was outstanding. It started at the front door when my wife and I entered the dealership. We were greeted right away with a friendly smile feeling very comfortable with no pressure. New vehicle sales Steve Bannon along with the business manager Colleen Magarin and Rebeca were outstanding with customer service and made our purchase of our first Subaru amazing, we were even greeted by Matthew McKnight thanking us for purchasing a Subaru Forester. Customer Service was good. Only surprise was one year later when I got a call from the rustproof people to tell me I had to have it checked every year. This was never mentioned at time of sale. Since I live in Toronto I did not want to go all the way to Kitchener again and ended up having to phone all over the place to finally find a dealership that carried the same rustproofing. This cost an extra $30.00 which means I will have to pay this every year, or possibly make arrangements to return to Kitchener. Over a period of time it certainly makes the rustproofing an expensive proposition. Had I known this information up front I believe I would have chosen another path.

Sometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart. one of my friend working as a truck driver went to shipping and receiving dept of this facility in order to deliver the tires. As he said, due to heavy workload and continuous snow he was suffering from throat dryness, but shipping receiving guy named 'Tom' was very kind, he not only helped him to unload the tires but realised his health issue and immediately offered him some drinks/snacks. What an example of nurturing professionalism and human values in the staff, appreciate????????♥️♥️♥️

This was by far the worst dealership of any car company I have ever stepped foot in. If this was my first introduction to the Subaru brand, I would have never purchased a Subaru. I dealt with two different sales reps and both were equally terrible. They couldn't close the deal on a $250.00 difference and the trade-in value for my vehicle was BY FAR worse than ANY OTHER DEALERSHIP! Overall, I'm surprised that they are able to sell any vehicles. If you are looking to purchase a Subaru I would suggest finding a different dealership. I can't imagine dealing with them when it comes to servicing the new vehicle. I went to a different dealership, for a better price and a much better experience. Avoid at all costs.
